She can tell when either Pete or Mortimer are here.The staff can rely on her for cleaning the high ass ceilings because she can climb up walls with no problem. And her webs make the best Halloween decor.

Von Drake and Jumba being so fascinated with Yuu's anatomy and intelligence. Whether has organic webbing or made web shooters of her own, they want so badly to experiment on them (definitely not gonna try to get bit by a radioactive spider too, nope).

I don't know if I want Yuu to have her own Guy in the Chair back in her universe and for Idia to feel jealous/threatened or for her to have no guy in the chair until she comes to twst and Ortho is like 'my time has come'

Ohh imagine the insane parkour skills she, Ruggie and Aladdin would have.

I know that being insanely smart in science is a Peter Parker thing and doesn't really apply to all Spider-People but I think she would be a science whizz (and joining the science club - making Crewel's already glaringly obvious favouritism skyrocket) and hanging out with all of the scientist characters like Prof Von Drake, Jumba, Yzma etc.

Her and Herc would be training buds. He'd see her and her heroics and superhuman friend and be like 'new best friend :D'. Phil loves the heroic potential she has and wants to train her but Pegasus and Megara are like nope and swoop him away.

Oh but imagine the beastfolk finding out about her enhanced senses and how sometimes they cause sensory overload and helping her out because they grew up like that so they know how to manage it better (I once read a fic that said that Savanaclaw showers have soaps with subtler scents to accommodate their enhanced sense of smell and like yes) whilst she's still getting used to it and has to keep it a secret back in her world.

I'm thinking back to all of the MCU!Peter Parker fics I read and all of the spider DNA tropes that tickled my fancy and I can just imagine the twst/HoM cast reacting to things like her having no thermoregulation (and going into hibernation), her purring, her being allergic/having a poison like reaction to peppermint, her having fangs (her being venomous would be cool as well - like imagine Kaa being all fanboying over her fangs and venom glands) etc..

Okay so I remember having a bunch of ideas about this but I can't recall all of them so here... 😅

“Why do you want me to talk to this boy so badly?” Katerina asked, reclining on her dormitory couch, long ponytail hanging off the end. 

Idia sat awkwardly at the seat across from her, all scrunched up yet still finding room to be baffled at her inquiry. 

“Look at me!” He gestured to himself as if it was obvious. 

When all he got was a raised eyebrow, he reiterated, “I’m not great with face-to-face confrontations. Last I talked to him, he threatened me with a baton. But, Kat, you have to see him. He’s an entirely different person once you get past the ‘scary guard’ thing.”

“You sure he’s not trying to lull you into a false sense of security so he can whack you with his baton?” Katerina teased sarcastically.

“No, but don’t put that in the universe!” Idia retorted, “I’m not asking for anything complicated. Just scope him out! Maybe you can get an online game account out of him; he says his dad plays.” 

“Send your brother to do it.” 

“Ortho is a good boy! And I don’t want to set him up for what is basically super personal info-gathering. It’d be too obvious if it was him anyway.” Idia snapped. 

Ortho was much more of the mischievous prying type than Idia seemed aware of, or at least wanted to acknowledge. Still, seeing him this perturbed over some boy she’s never heard of before must mean something. 

“I hooked you up with all of the lasted Twisted Wonderland consoles, visual novels, and anime. You owe me two grand in favors.” Idia got strangely threatening, pointing an accusatory finger in her direction. 

“Hey, you chose to do that!” Katerina snapped back at him, rising up from her lounging position. “You were begging me to check all those things out!”

“Doesn’t matter; you’ll change your mind when you see him. “He’s easy to find. Usually somewhere on campus, silver hair, beautiful eyes,” Idia replied. “I’ll throw in whatever extra perks you want. You want Pay-Per-Routes? You got it.”

“You just threatened me with that. Look, fine, I’ll meet this guy, but don’t expect the conversation to be very long.” Kat gave in, heaving herself up and throwing on her jacket from the side. 

“You’re a smooth-talker, much more endearing than I can manage. You’ll do fine.” Idia told her.

“By the way, I probably wouldn’t stay in that seat too long. As soon as Grim wakes up and sees you in his spot, he won’t shut up about it.” Kat warned, or rather teased, with a flip of her hair. 

It didn’t do much. Idia loved Grim just for being a cat, so chances were he would stick around until she finished her task. 

She wasn’t sure exactly how easy this person was to find. His description sounded more like lovestruck rambling than anything actually concrete. 

A quick walk across campus to the hall of mirrors was terrible when she was alone because when she didn’t have her friend at either side of her, people stared. 

Granted, they always stared, but they did so more noticeably when she was alone. 

They would turn their heads to look at her each time. They’d whip around and gawk in place. She was the only girl on campus, and they were both in awe and shocked by her being there, and she hated all of it. 

If this person hadn’t heard of her sudden arrival to this school, then they’d be just as surprised. She’d have to do the whole song and dance all over again. He would dumbly declare her as a girl, then be bothered by her mere presence or try to ask her out. 

A soft vocalization caught her ears, followed by the most tender lyrics. 

‘No way,’ Kat thought, ‘there’s no way that’s the guy.’

She followed the voice out of curiosity, and if she saw any of the vague physical description given to her, she would never question Idia’s weirdness ever again…Or rather, she wouldn’t question it too harshly. 

“I wonder, I wonder…I wonder why each little bird has a someone~” 

A boy with strikingly silver hair stretched his arms and legs with ease, seemingly going through some workout routine while singing gently. 

Perching on the tips of his fingers were small little blue birds. They twittered along with his melodic humming. It was unbelievable; she was literally at a loss for words. 

“To sing to, sweet things to…A gay little love melody~” he continued, bringing the hand with the birds closer to his face. 

Almost comedically, Kat stepped forward and conveniently broke a twig under her boot. A loud snap interrupted the boy’s song, and he quickly drew a baton out from under him and pointed it in her direction. 

She threw her hands up to show that she meant no harm, and the boy dropped his defenses immediately. 

“Oh, hello, I’m sorry about that. You startled me.” The boy apologized. 

“No problem. What, uh, what are you doing?” She asked, stepping closer. 

“I was about to train. I was doing some stretches first.” He explained 

“While singing to a bunch of birds?” She questioned bluntly, hands on her hips. 

The boy fell silent and looked blankly back at her. Apparently he was in thought because he gave her a half-hearted answer when he spoke up again. “Yes, I suppose so.” 

“You suppose so…” she repeated. 

‘Is this wonderboy for real?’ She thought to herself, ‘this has to be an act. No guy, especially at this school, sings to animals like he’s some kind of fairytale princess.’  

“You wouldn’t happen to be named Silver, would you?” 

“That is my name!” Silver exclaimed with innocent surprise, “What’s yours?”

“Katerina Vallis. My friends call me Kat, though.” She held her hand out to shake. 

Silver looked at it like he didn’t know what she was doing, so she met him halfway and grabbed his hand in a tight shake. 

“Would you prefer if I call you Kat, then?” He asked permission. 

His entire demeanor endlessly confused her, and she fought hard against herself to find it endearing. 

“Sure, wonderboy, knock yourself out.” 

The birds that fled when she surprised him flew back, handing on his shoulders and head. “I don’t believe I’ve met you before until now…Or,” Silver narrowed his eyes at her as if inspecting her all over, Katerina crossed her arms, “Have I?”

“We’ve never met,” Katerina explained, it seemed obvious, but somehow this was the strangest boy she’s come across so far. “A little bird told me about you.”

Silver looked inquisitively at his bird friends. He brought a hand out and the birds obediently landed on his wrist and fingers. “Have you, now?”

“Not a literal bird- Ah, whatever,” Katerina replied, “Do you play video games…Or something?”

“I do; I’m not very good at them though,” Silver answered. It was extremely easy, no strings attached. 

Silver didn’t seem to notice that Kat was very clearly an outsider at this school. Kat was beginning to think that he couldn’t even tell she was a ‘she.’ But it was a nice change of pace to talk without having to deal with the usual reactions and questions. 

“Mind exchanging account info? For the little bird?” She asked. 

“Of course, though, I don’t know if a bird would be very good at playing video games either.” Silver agreed, still misguided, but he had the spirit. “I only really play games with my father, and even then, I usually fall asleep before I can finish. Do you play games?”

“Yeah, I dabble,” Kat said. 

She lied. She was knee-deep in inter-dimensional visual novels that she’s never seen before until getting trapped here. Without her parents there to chide her for not focusing more on sports and photoshoots, she could indulge in all of her fantasies. She could become the girl who has friends and falls in love in all of these games Idia supplied her with. 

Those fantasies came with a cost. Now she had to act as a gopher. 

“If only I had a pen and paper…” Silver mused. 

“You can just tell me, and I’ll type it on my phone.” She offered. 

Suddenly, a little rabbit and squirrel hopped up to them, one holding a pen and one holding a paper. How the hell those animals even got those items that fast and how they knew exactly what Silver wanted? Katerina didn’t know. She had a hard time believing what she was seeing. 

“Thank you,” Silver patted their little heads and took their items. 

He wrote down his online name and handed it to her. He wrote in very neat cursive, “here you are.”

He had a very creative name…Silver515. 

“Thanks…” she said, and that was that, “I’ll see you around.” 

Silver yawned and covered his mouth with his hand before giving her a friendly goodbye. He pulled his baton back up and swung it around with clear precision. It reminded her of her fencing practice, where she would fight some invisible enemy with all of her might. 

She lingered there, silently wondering why she hadn’t left. Then, she spoke up. 

“Do you have a second baton?” She asked. 

“Oh, yes, actually. Sebek was here with me earlier, but he left to chase after our liege. Guard duties and all.” Silver explained, pulling out his spare baton hidden underneath a group of spectating animals.

He handed it to her, and she took it. She expected him to toss it, but it was a gentle handoff. 

“But not you?” Katerina questioned. 

“Malleus enjoys taking walks alone. I prefer to leave him be if he wants it.” Silver responded as a matter of fact. 

“That’s very considerate.” Katerina complemented before getting into position. 

The baton was shorter and stockier than the fencing sword she used, but he held it with as much grace as possible and prepared Silver for her first move, “En-garde!” 

Silver copied her motion as if he too had been fencing his whole life, and the two tried to jab each other’s chest. 

They had to get closer to each other to nail the hit. 

Katerina got an up-close look at Silver’s unique eyes. Idia was not kidding when he described them as beautiful. They were a mix of blue, purple, and pink, all swirled together like a sunrise. It was enough to distract her and leave her open, Silver jabbed the baton into her, and she staggered backward. 

It was a momentary stumble, however, as she leaped back up and returned the jab. By the rule of fencing, there was one turn left, and Katerina backed up to dodge the hits before trying to jab again. 

Silver overpowered her easily. It was enthralling to meet a match after years of her being used as her fencing team’s secret weapon back in her original dimension. His form was a lot more offensive than Katerina’s strategic one. 

If she didn’t know any better, she would’ve guessed he was trained to fight for real instead of for sport. 

Eventually, they both felt satisfied with their spar and dropped to the grass. Despite all the energy he displayed before, his head swayed, and his body lay slack with drowsiness against a tree beside her. 

“Your form is excellent. You have quite a talent.” Silver complimented, speech slow but sincere. 

“Thanks. I’ve been fencing since I was a kid, along with other imposed hobbies.” She replied. 

“That’s quite a coincidence because I’ve trained with the sword since I was a child too.” Silver added. “Would you be interested in training with me again?”

Katerina was about to say ‘yes’ when her phone buzzed. She pulled it out and took a quick look at the text. 

Idia: WHERE R U?? Did u find him? Sometimes he sleeps on the ground on campus, but that could be anywhere-

Katerina rolled her eyes and put the phone down. She’d get to him in a minute. 

“Yeah, I’d love- I mean-“ Katerina fumbled, but thankfully it wasn’t noticed at all. “Oh.”

In only a matter of seconds, Silver was fast asleep. 

All of the quirks that Idia had described to her were a reality. It was stranger than anything she had experienced so far in this strange world, and even stranger than befriending a talking cat monster, was this boy who came straight out of a fairytale. 

She had his gaming account info…So she could give him her answer there. 

Katerina left to her self-proclaimed master to report what she had found. She definitely found a lot more than what she expected to find.

After much deliberation, I think I'd love to see Rook with "I Won't Say I'm in Love" from Hercules. It started me on a brainstorming spiral. And! The little bit at the end where Megara holds the nile flower to her chest? Imagine Yuu doing that with Rook's hat. I just really like the idea, that out of all the possible options, they fall for that guy.

It could be fun if instead of the muses it's the ghosts of ramshackle, and instead of falling onto a statue, Yuu falls into the arms of a ghost that looks like Rook. Yuu doesn't know how to process these feelings and the ghosts are being menaces.

So when I first saw this ask, I was like "I got this 😎" Famous last words right there lol. I did enjoy messing with Yuu/MC tho. I hope you enjoy it, anon!

"Ah!" Yuu jumped and dropped the item in her hands. She frantically looked around the Ramshackle lounge. Her eyes landed on Grim, who was jumping on the other side of the couch. "Yes, Grim?"

Grim crawled up on Yuu's lap, "I'm hungry! Feed me some tuna."

"Oh, I am. I'm sorry, Grim. Let me get you your tuna for dinner," Yuu stood up, grabbed the big purple hat, and walked towards the kitchen with Grim following behind to sit down. 

"You had a starry look in your eyes when you were staring at that hat. Were you thinking about Rook again?" 

"NO!" Yuu exclaimed while placing the hat on the dining table. She opened the pantry and grabbed a can, "Why would I be thinking about him anyway? He is weird, mysterious, and a bit creepy."

Grim put his paws on his hips, "Mhm, sounds like your type."

Yuu almost dropped the opened can of tuna, "Grim! Eat your tuna!" She shoved the can into Grim's paws. He barely had enough time to catch it.  

"Hey, this is premium tuna! Besides, what I said was true."

Yuu rolled her eyes and approached the refrigerator to hide her blush, "I only see Rook as a friend. We are just friends."

"I don't know. You don't sound happy saying that," Grim stopped eating his food to stare at Yuu, "You two have gotten pretty cozy after the Island of Woe incident. I would say a bit too close to be just friends."

"It's not like he is on my mind all the time, or I think about his laugh or the way his hair flows just right in the wind, or how eccentric he sounds when he speaks French…." Yuu sighed, grabbed a random container, and kicked the fridge closed. She headed towards the microwave to warm up her food. 

Curse Grim for putting him in my mind! 

"Is Yuu talking about Rook again?" Don, the skinny ghost, asked. He and the other Ramshackle ghosts materialize in the kitchen for dinner. Although they cannot eat, they stay to keep Yuu and Grim company. 

"Yep," Grim smirked, causing Yuu to roll her eyes. 

"Oh ho ho! I always knew you had feelings for him!" Harry, the fat ghost, laughed. 

"Since when?" Yuu sputtered, her face turning red. 

"Since the VDC. Billy, the short ghost, replied. "You two would always hang out, and he started spending more time here after it ended."

"A lot of people spend time here, too," Yuu pointed out and ate her dinner. 

Harry chuckled, "Well, you at least accepted his gift," The ghost pointed to the food Yuu was eating. Said human looked down to find that she did grab the leftover ratatouille Rook gave her yesterday. That was also the day he left his hat at her dorm.

"It was the first thing I saw," Yuu deadpanned and plopped on her seat next to Grim. 

"Sure it was, Yuu. We'll believe you for now," Don smirked. He and the other ghosts floated to the unoccupied chairs.

"I don't like him like that."

"I don't know…" Billy drawled, "It didn't look like it when he serenaded you on your balcony."

"He was just being nice because it was my birthday," Yuu replied, ignoring how hard it was for her heart not to jump out of her chest that night. She was willing to take how she felt like a princess to the grave. 

"What about that time he wanted to draw you like one of those French girls?" Grim innocently asked. 

"How bold!" Harry exclaimed, and the other ghosts laughed. Grim just sat there confused. Yuu felt her ears turn red as the ghosts smirked.

"Not like that! You know how he is! He is always trying to find ways to appreciate beauty."

"Watch this," Don whispered to the ghosts and turned to Grim pointing to something on the table, "Hand me that hat," 

Yuu was praying the teasing stopped until she felt a presence near her. 

“Bonjour, mon amour!”

"Ahhh!" Yuu screamed, causing herself to fall into Ghost Rook's arms and the other witnesses around her to laugh. Ghost Rook looked down at her with a smile similar to the real Rook, except Rook's smile made him look like a prince. Wait, prince? Yuu shook her head. This isn't real! "That is not funny!" she exclaimed, scrambling back and snatching Rook’s hat. She inspected it for any dust. 

Ghost Rook turned back into a laughing Don, "You must admit it, Yuu. You can't deny that you have feelings for him."

Yuu sighed out of defeat, "Maybe I like him a little." Grim looked at her with a 'really?' look, "Fine, I like him a lot. Happy?" Yuu hid her growing smile by placing the hat on her head and hiding behind the brim. 

The ghosts and Grim smiled, "Very."

Meanwhile, a certain blonde hunter sat on a tree, listening to the conversation through an open window. He originally came to retrieve his hat but climbed up the tree instead when he heard his name. 

"Oo la la! It seems ma chérie has feelings for me after all. I must let her know that they are reciprocated!"

Epel helped Yuu, he knew the little beasts struggling to keep still and quiet for noone to notice them, so he helped switching them from place so they can see were they are going, Rook never told them that he knew all along... he just found so beautiful thecompasion and companerism of the two Freshman helping these little... things? Monsters? They certain don't look like overblots... there's no ink

Jack does not trust them, but the ice titan acquired the hoobie of a walking ice maker, and the lava titan helped warming the cafeteria food, the air titan helped in gym classes by guiding them trough the suden wind changes and just like that he got attached... they are just little guys...

Sebek burned one of his shoes when he accidentally stepped into the lava titan, it took a very long and convincing talk for the Diasomnia freshman to keep quiet about their existence since they could mean a treat to lord Malleus... but he discovered the air titan could be used to carry his voice through the wind to his young master... and then they made a deal. Okay how did you make your characters you have finally giving me this motivation to try and do this and I can't back out no so advice will be appreciated-

Hey hey hey!! I'm so glad you decided to do some OCs for yourself!💙

For doing my OCs it really depended on what first came into my mind; for Daisy the idea started bc I wanted to have my own MC/Yuu, I picked Cinderella for the character she's twisted from bc she's my favorite princess and I love her story. Daisy's personality and design were based on Cinderella, but me deciding that she was going to be in a relationship with Ruggie was what helped me define her personality even more bc I kept asking me questions like "would this make them be a good fit for each other? Would this personality trait fit/compliment Ruggie's?" etc. Not only that but just using Cinderella as a guide, but not something to copy, really helped too.

For Perse I began thinking of Idia himself. I knew she was gonna be based off of Megara, so I used her as a guide and honestly? Their personalities are extremely similar. I decided that since Idia is based off of Hades, throwing Persephone elements in Perse would be interesting and able to flesh out her personality more. I asked me questions like, "what can her backstory be?" and I decided she needed to be 'stuck' to Idia against her will (at first) bc Megara was stuck with Hades and Persephone was abducted by him; I asked "what would her Unique Magic be?" and remembered Persephone is the goddess of spring so powers based on plants/flowers would be a good call.

In short, I highly recommend thinking about the character(s) you wanna twist your OCs from and use them as a GUIDE, the rest will come naturally as you ask yourself questions and, if you have a ship, thinking about what sort of relationship they would have together. I also recommend rewatching the movie they're from, I rewatched Peter Pan when making Jeanne, same thing when making Perse and Daisy.

basically Yuu (the MC/player) is magically transported to Twisted Wonderland, the world of Disney characters. They are stuck in a highschool with characters based off of disney villains. In their school they basically idolize the villains the they have statues of "The Great 7" and dorms modeled around each one. In parentheses are what they are called in game. Each character is based off of a disney character from their stories. And not all of them are villains, or even people! The head of each dorm will be first and vice dorm leaders will be in italic.

DIASOMNIA OMFG. I love them sososososooooooo much. You don't know how much found family means to me like I would kill for them. They would kill for eachother actually. Lilia is like. who knows how old over 500 years apparently and he's also their dad. Both Malleus and Lilia are super old fae. Silver is a human and Lilia's adopted son, while Sebek is half human/half fairy. Sebek is Lilia's pupil and he's training to be Malleus's personal gaurd along with Silver. They also drew up together. AND fun fact about Lilia he's actually a war veteran and looked after kid Malleus (I'm telling you he's literally his dad). But they are so important to me like i can't even express it properly.

AYO I HAD A REVELATION

Shoutout to my Discord friend anonymousblubber that pointed some of this stuff out to me 😳 (I will also warn that there is quite a bit of theorizing and speculation thrown in this post, so please take it with a grain of salt!!)

***Spoilers for chapter 6 of the main story below the cut!!***

BRO 😳 When Vil gives that rousing speech to Ortho that unintentionally sets him off to release the phantoms... It parallels happenings in Hercules if you think about it?????

In Hercules, the titular character is a very honest and well meaning person... and he wants to prove himself to achieve godhood and finally join his family in Mt. Olympus. Ortho has similar traits as Hercules, but his motivation to “prove himself” is to help his brother be welcomed by others again and make friends.

I wouldn’t be shocked if they reveal in the next chapter 6 update that Robo!Ortho was, in part, acting out of his own selfishness because he wanted to prove he could be as “authentic” as the real Ortho, whom he knows he can never truly replace. This could be Robo!Ortho’s parallel to “going the distance” just like Hercules did. Maybe Robo!Ortho even gets the chance to become a “real boy” (like how Hercules goes from human to god again) at the end of the chapter, and he refuses because it was the robotic him that got to make so many precious memories with his big bro Idia 🥺

OKAY, but continuing on to Vil! If Ortho’s parallel is Hercules, then Vil’s parallel is Megara. Of course, I don’t mean that Vil is a love interest or anything of the sort, but he represents the “drive” and the “motivation” Hercules (and thus Ortho) needed to do great things.

In the movie, Herc didn’t reclaim his godhood until he dove into the pool of souls to retrieve Meg at the cost of losing his own life. Hercules went the distance for her. In Vil’s case, he unintentionally ends up being Ortho’s motivation to act out by giving advice on how one needs to at least put forth the effort to try if they want to have the chance at succeeding at something—because no matter how small the starting percentage, it’s still something. Ortho realizes that Idia can turn from zero to hero too, and that, paired with the temptation of OG!Ortho (who can also represent Meg or even Hades in the form of seductive promises) is what has him inspired to release the phantoms in the first place. I also want to point out that Vil assumes Hercules's (the hero's) role at the end by jumping to save Idia. Vil isn't constrained just to being the "damsel in distress" in book 6 (even if he's the one that Rook and Epel are trying to save), he's playing an active part and shifting his roles around as needed. Therefore, he parallels multiple characters from Hercules.

OH and Phil and Pegasus are???? Rook’s (and maybe Epel and Yuu too?) parallels for chapter 6????? Because it’s Phil and Pegasus that team up with Meg to try and save Hercules when he lost his god-like strength, like how Rook, Epel, and Yuu rush to rescue Vil and the other OB boys... AND SPEAKING OF THE OB BOIS, they could be parallels for the captured Greek gods????????????

And Idia... I realized he’s in Board Game Club because Hades was always referring to everything like it was a game, even the battles Herc would have with various monsters. There’s tons of board game iconography in the movie. AND ANOTHER THING??????? It makes total sense (meta-wise) that Azul is also in Board Game Club, because Hades was also a crafty deal maker like Azul is...

Everything is connected in ways I didn’t even notice right off the bat 😭 It makes me appreciate both TWST and the original movies way more just knowing little things like that...

But, jokes aside, I was really expecting Yuu and Idia's first interaction on main story to be just like Idia's reaction is when he meets new people: very nervous and anxious or just don't paying much attention. But he really went on with all that sarcasm and boldness 🤡

Chapter 6 is full of surprises and I'm loving it 🤗

Also, this particular scene of Idia and Yuu reminded me a lot of mostly of Hades and Megara's interaction, he giving sarcastic remarks all the time.
