Okay so I'm sorry for word vomiting here but I've got this AU that I've been developing in my head for the past few weeks. I call it my Disney Crossover/House of Mouse/When I say everyone loves Yuu, I’m talking about the entire Disney animated multiverse AU.

(I’m going to be referring to Yuu as she/her because of my own pronouns)

Basically, Yuu ends up working at the House of Mouse every night for extra money because Crowley sucks. She travels through a magic mirror in Ramshackle. Everyone there loves her: the (human and animal) adults think of her as their daughter, the animals love her (she’s not a beast tamer for nothing), the kids constantly want to hang out with her and even the villains have a soft spot for her (mainly because she treats them like normal people and not as villains. She’s super kind and sweet to them even when they try to scare her). Somehow, they realise that they don’t really know who she is or how she got there or anything so they ask her about it and she’s like “it’s a long story I don’t want to explain the whole thing.”

So due to either Disney Magic™ or one of Professor Von Drake’s inventions, the entire Disney theatrical animated universe watch everything that’s happened to Yuu so far in Twisted Wonderland. So obviously this would lead to lots of questions and everything but that’s not what I want to talk about. Oh no. What I’m getting to is this:

Ship Wars.

Everyone sees how Yuu has got each and every boy at NRC wrapped around her little finger and she’s literally so dense and oblivious to how positively smitten and whipped they are for her so they play a little matchmaking. Obviously The Great Seven™ would want Yuu to get with their own Twisted versions. It was unprecedented. Normally every villain knows not to get on the bad side of the Mistress of all Evil but the second she’s like “she’s my future granddaughter, my Malleus has been courting him the day they met” WWIII breaks out.

The Heroes™ are at first like “why villains though?” before realising that the boys would rather chop off a limb before they would ever think about letting Yuu get anywhere near harm and they’re like “so for their wedding, I’m thinking…” Because what’s the biggest bragging right than having the beloved Yuu getting with someone that’s based on your story.

Listen, because I have ideas™ of villains trying to get their kid (yes, they see the boys as their kids, sue them) with Yuu and the heroes being like “Are you married? No. Move over.” Simba and Nala helping Leona with ‘Can You Feel the Love Tonight 2.0’ whilst Scar and the hyenas scheme in the shadows (the hyenas love Ruggie by the way. He’s an honorary member of the cackle), Aladdin and Jasmine hardcore shipping Kalim with Yuu (Aladdin to the other princes “they rode on a magic carpet and had an elephant parade. Perfect first date material right there.”) whilst JamilYuu shippers Jafar and Iago seethe, Alice may not know much about relationships but she’s got an imagination, an older sister and sees how invested the White Rabbit, card soldiers and the Queen and King of Hearts are with RiddleYuu so she’s going to help. The Dwarves hate Vil. Snow White loves everyone. She just wants Yuu to be happy. Lovable himbo tries to get Idia and Yuu together but Meg just rolls her eyes and Hades yells at him for ruining his plans. Ariel and Eric see Azul, a mer who’s fallen in love with a human and they’re like “our time has come. Sebastian, get your voice ready.” and Ursula’s like “that might be the one good idea you two have ever had”. Maleficent has been MalleYuu Shipper No1 from the start (a title that Lilia had to give up to her after a one minute stare down). She already has a room prepared for the prefect for when she visits the Valley of Thorns. Aurora, Phillip and the three good fairies think that Malleus is a sweet boy and are rooting for him.

Of course, there will be ship wars.

And don’t get me started on the battles that the villainous henchmen/sidekicks get with each other. If I have motivation, I might write something for this AU but I have a bunch of headcanons and scenarios for it. Also, Yuu is an honorary Disney Princess. She gets to sit with them at their table and has a personal invite to visit their castles whenever she wants so that they can have some girl time together. (Mulan and Merida mainly want to teach her how to use weapons and are 100000% ready to hunt down any of the boys that try to mess with her).

Listen, I love everything about this. House of Mouse was one one my favorite cartoons as a kid so i'm all on board for this. (It is an affront that the series is not on Disney+, but at least its on Youtube.)

All i'm thinking of is the episode where Max has a date with Roxanne and everyone swears not to embarrass him, and then proceeds to embarrass with their well intentioned attempts to make it perfect. Like dedicated Sebastian's Kiss the girl performance and setting up a Lady and Tramp style meal for them. That, but with the NRC boy of the week.

Miss Yuu: I'm going to be bringing my friend Azul this Friday. When he heard about the club he was interested to check it out for ideas for his lounge.

There is not a speck of chill in that establishment. Sebastian's going to perform Kiss the Girl. Ariel and Eric get the bright idea to invite them to sit with them like a double date. Ursula and batting the other villains from interfering with a stick. It's a mess.

Rinse and repeat every other week with a different student.

Imagine Hades trying to teach Idia how to be a quick smooth talker to get Yuu to go out with him and its just failing miserably. Or Yuu just glaring at the Magic Mirror in the lobby.

Or ladies night at the House of Mouse, and all the princesses insist Yuu sit them and enjoy the show, and Minnie assures her she can take a break for a while. Then upon Clarabells suggestion in the episode, they do a bachelor auction, Only the Bachalors are Vil, Malleus, Leona and whoever else they could rope into it. Only all the princesses are bidding on their favorites and then giving the date to Yuu.

And like you said, everyone sort of adopts Yuu in their own way. But Goofy especially is going full dad mode for Yuu. Just comes to her defense at any moment like he does with Max and its very sweet.

[Insert Clever Title]

There aren’t nearly enough fics focused on Yuu/MC/Reader being nonhuman and their interactions with the other human and nonhuman characters. I say that, and yet, I’ve barely written any myself. But I still wanted to contribute, so here are a few ideas I’ve come up with. Feel free to share your own or even use these as prompts. All I ask is to be informed so I can see.

 Lioness!Reader being the betrothed to Leona since they were little and having playdates. Reader loved to playfight with him and would always pin him (like Nala did to Simba). The relationship is basically just like Darek and Odette’s with the whole This is Not My Idea song up until they’re young adults. Leona is in denial of having fallen for you, but can’t help but admire how strong and beautiful you’ve become.

Mushroom Fae!Reader constantly feeling the looming presence of a certain eel follow them around, asking rather strange or invasive questions. It doesn’t help that you’re much shorter than most of the other students, so your legs can’t outrun the much taller student. Eventually, the two of you start to grow closer and the roles are reversed. Now you’re the one following him around and demanding attention due to his greenthumb towards fungi.

Rat/Cayote!Reader having a rivalry with Ruggie, as both grew up poor and had to scavenge for their meals. Reader often would swipe the last sandwich during lunch and Ruggie would pluck every edible plant before you could. However, after you fell ill and were bedridden, Ruggie, surprisingly, left you a bowl of soup, his grandma’s special recipe. After that the two of you become quite the nuisance duo.

((Warning: Gore Mention)) Sea Cucumber!Reader being squeezed by Floyd, only to accidently force them to spit up their organs and other innards, horrifying both him and every nearby student. Reader merely coughs and says they’re fine and can just grow them back, or they can just shovel the old ones back in. Floyd is super over the top gentle towards you after that.

Persian Cat!Reader being one of Vil’s favorite dormmates because of how much you love to be pampered. You’re the most well behaved and spoiled, constantly demanding Vil’s time and attention. You tend to annoy Epel and lose your temper when he picks fights with you, leading to Vil having to scold both of you.

Crow Harpy!Reader absolutely loving any and all things shiny and just swiping jewelry, silverware, and coins from anyone that’s not careful. You eventually taking a liking to Kalim, what with all this jewelry and sunshiny self. He’s more than happy to give you little trinkets and pieces of treasure, while you thank him by preening him affectionately. Eventually, you decide to show him your nest hoard and tell him he’s your greatest treasure.

Insect Fae!Reader terrorizing Jamil, because of course you would.

Orca!Reader terrorizing the Octatrio because killer whales are dicks of the sea and will literally torment their prey for the hell of it and those three need to be taught some manners. Or, alternatively, you work at the Lounge as a bouncer and terrorize everyone else. Either way, somebody is gonna end up your own personal beach ball to throw around.

Just straight up an Eldritch Horror!Reader that takes on the form of an average, unassuming human. Pretends to be normal and weak to not draw attention to yourself, but eventually it slips out here and there the more comfortable you get towards everyone. Your favorite form of affection is when you just unhinge your entire jaw and gently bite down on someone’s head like some extremely weird form of a kiss. Vil especially hates it because how dare you ruin his makeup and hair you interdimensional potato??? ADeuce are the first to learn of your true form and are used to whatever weird, new thing they witness you doing now. Malleus and Lilia are fascinated if anything, if not a bit curious to know if you could actually take either of them on. You also have full on hurled Rook across the track field at least once since he learned of your true form (he provoked you so it’s deserved).

Simba and Nala love the little cub 🥰

Simba especially likes to see a younger version of him without trauma. It warms his heart to see the young lion prince bonding with Yuu and Leona and hear how much he loves his mother and father. He’s happy that Cheka is surrounded by so many people that love him so he doesn’t grow up with the same burden he did.

Cheka: *bright eyes wide and tail wagging with excitement* You know, my dad took me to see the whole kingdom yesterday. He told me that everything the light touches is our kingdom and one day I’m gonna rule it all :D

Simba and Yuu: How nice 😊

By the way: I headcanon that Cheka is insecure of his roar (which is basically a kitten yowl) the same way cub Simba was.

Poor Zazu is going to get war flashbacks whenever he sees Cheka act all adventurous and headstrong when he playfully runs away from the adults that are supposed to be watching him.

Ooh and if Cheka has a best friend that’s a young lioness you bet Simba and Nala are going to tease him like crazy

I'm pretty sure they will be questioning the true intent of the Seven. I mean can you blame them? They're going to think their all up to no good and that the kids are involved somehow.

Ok ok ok, so, here's post with teh RSA overblot and the bases of the other's personalities

Alice (withe rabbit, Cheshire cat)

Considers her boy a big brother figure, she was remembered as a child, so a child she is, she notices his little interest in the young human that transferred recently and encourages him to take action, it isn't that hard! Just say how you feel already!

She finds Yuu interesting and creative, having things in common with adults but is able to enjoy the simplicity of playing like a child, she remember the little tag play she convinced her "brother" to play and Yuu had ACEPTED, they looked so cute!

She fears Riddle and the Queen, less Riddle tho, he's too cute for her to fear that much, but he is, in her eyes, technically the Queen's son, and he did show some temper problems, she fears for Yuu's safety and is outraged that he likes Yuu too! The audacity! That's her "brother"'s love!

The first thing the queen did was scream "of with her head!" the second she laid eyes on Alice... they are spirits and dead, needless to say, it didn't work

Simba (Nala, Timon & Pumbaa )

He encourages his boys to follow his heart, kinda like an older brother, he teases the boy and laughs at his reactions, but by the end of the day give sgood advice

He likes Yuu, kid knows how to be chill and have fun, and of course, is responsible, a kind of responsible that isn't that harsh to fear, he wants the kid to have a good time and a break, someone help them

Attacks Scar the second he sees his face, and then realizes they are ghosts and not capable of dieing two times, and then he realizes that Leona is probably, technically Scar and his brain can put two and two together after he sees Leona interacting WITH Yuu and now is on overprotective mode, you get away from them or he swear he's gonna repeat the fight scene again

Scar is so done with his nephew, so done, he just wants to nap, leave the kids alone you big kitty they are fine, and don't you dare to threaten his boy, or there will be consequences... for yours

She finds Yuu adorable and encourages Rielle to ho after his heart! If you never talk so someone how can you show your interest! And even if you lose your voice, theres many ways to "talk" with each other, she encourages town trips and warns about boat trips

Argues with Ursula the second she has a chance: "YOU WERE CHEATING!" "There was nothing in the contract that says I couldn't intervene", absolute against Azul and Yuu's friendship if that's his soul the honey nothing good is coming out of there

Ursula is so done with this child, it was business dear, get over it, AND DON'T BRING HER BOY INTO THIS

Encourages her boy to follow his dreams while he can, have fun, make friends! Don't waste any time worrying about other things that teens realy shouldn't worry about

Loves Yuu, look at this good kid, encourages her boy to follow their heart and always be true, for lies are always exposed and love is a matter of trust, don't excitate to use the CARPED ;)

Her and her boy are a sassy duo to deal with, will throw shade at everyone, talk about exes and she's probably having some flashbacks reminding her of how she herself didn't belived in love after so many heartbreaks, but she's the first to notice his little growing crush that he tries so hard to kill, and muses herself using rever psychology withi him

She's rather found of Yuu, there's a charm to the teen that she can understand why her boy likes them

She has no chill with Hades, she is going all out, her the fuck away of her protege you weird corpse

As for Idia, oh great, a shut in, nice, you don't have competition then, there's no way her boy will have a problem with this as his counterpart... after shenanigans: oh? Ok alright the candle boy has some sass he can pass.

Sleep, responsible and no lies, they are a very calm and rather regal duo, Aurora's aura and her boy's is very calm and tired, in a way that says too many responsibilities to attend to

She finds endearing the little prefect, very polite and fun to be arround! And honestly... her boy needs this... more simple influence, she knows how much she misses the dimpler times, why can't he have it now then? With someone he clearly loves

As her mother before her, Aurora knows that, even if Maleficent was petty enough to curse her, when she didn't do anything wrong in the first place, the fary is still royalty, and as such, deserves to be treated as one, she never talked to her in all honesty, only heard the stories her aunts and parents tell, so she can't deny she's a little bit... curious... to know more about the wicked witch of thorns

Malleus ismuch the same for her, she instantly knows he's much younger than Maleficent and this lack of eons makes him a fresh retake on the dark fairies she has heard about, he's polite and still has much to learn, she has noting agains him, but nothing to favor either

They both just spent the whole week of this talking, and what the plan is once they graduate, one of Cyberpunk dream before coming to twisted wonderland and her time as a gladiator is to have a stable living and to be a mother

A lot of tears were shed that day. Ruggie said fuck it and Leona bought the ring for him. The wedding was at Afterglow Savanah and Leona held it in the royal garden and no one stopped them since Leona never asks for anything. Ruggies family was there and Idia and Ortho walked Cyberpunk down the isle.

Idia looked at Cyber in her dress. It was a floor length one that was a piece inspired by Persephone's dress. Ortho helped her with her hair, Idia gave her the something new "This is a broach that Vil helped me make. The design is the Shrouds crest." Ortho walked back with a bouquet with a single blue flower "Something blue! The flower symbolizes hope and the beauty of things." Cyber smiled as she hugged her brothers. Ruggie's grandmother then stood up, "For your something old I have my earrings that were passed down to mother in law to daughter or daughter in law for generations." She clipped them on. She touched up on her make up and Ruggie's grandmother smiled "Your ready dear.

As Ruggie stand at the alter he tapped his foot worried that Yuu might be late. Leona smacked his head "Calm down she loves you like how Simba loved Nala." The Hyena smiled at the lazy Lion, he was always there to smack some sense into him. Then the music began, he whipped his head back and saw his soon to be wife in a beautiful white dress, a bouquet with a single blue rose, with his grandmother's heirloom earrings.

He begin to cry seeing the women he loves more then dounuts. Yuu smiled at him as Ortho was on her left and Idia on her right. When they reached him Ortho hugged her hip and left to sit down. Idia looked at Ruggie as he clutched Yuu tighter, he didn't want to give up his only sister. Yuu turned to him and nodded 'You need to let me go.' Idia let a tear fall and nodded gently giving her to Ruggie and with a firm stare of 'I'm watching you.' He then sat next to Ortho.

Ruggie and Yuu looked at each other not listening to Felena blessed the wedding. After the vows Ruggie and Yuu both said yes, Yuu grabbed him, dipped the Hyena beastman with a deep kiss. The crowed cheered seeing two lovers finally tie the knot. The newly weds walked to the ballroom as everyone partied.

During the dance they spoke to each other with so much love in their eyes. Ruggie laughed his shishishi "Til death do us part my dear." Yuu smiled "Til death do us part my love." As they danced in circles as everyone watched them become more inchoate with one another.

You know, I'm quite disappointed in Sunset Savanah event in twst. I was so excited about twst!zira. Where she is obsess with Leona, like how Zira is with Scar in the movie. Plus, Yuu and Grim ended up being useless.

Honestly same. While it being like the hometown events where it's just a glorified tour of their homeland shouldn't be big of a surprise since it IS one of those, I think it could've been handled a lot better. It built up the Catch the Tail to the point I thought it would have an actual story like the Masquerade event last year. But nope. Having it be a footnote it is! (insert face palm)

Tbh, I didn't expect them to add TWST Zira (I have the hunch that character will be saved for after Grim's overblot for one of the first years after Leona goes on his internship), but I'm disappointed that we never saw Fareena or twst!Nala. Fareena is Leona's brother, so it would've been so cool to finally interact with him and see what he's actually like. But again, nope. Instead of that, we get TWST!Zazu, which while cool, is a let down.

Also, like you said, Yuu did fuck all in that event. Sure, they are a passive protagonist and hardly impact the plot, but make them matter even a little.

Overall, while I enjoyed it building up Leona's backstory and character more, it was just a let down. I think it could've been done a lot better.

Disney child: grew up watching a lot of Disney, knows all the villains in twst, most songs, and can recite a handful of scenes from heart (her favourite is Lion King, followed by my own favourite: Beauty and the Beast)

Horny: this is actually a defining character trait if you can believe it. She saw Malleus walk out of those bushes one night and now won’t shut up about how hot “the bush man” is and how desperately she wants him. She is also down real bad for Leona but we blame that on his severe lack of man tit coverage and the fact that he growls.

She’s not a mage. In fact, she really doesn’t use magic at all

She and Leona are childhood friends (their relationship gives heavy Simba Nala vibes)

She’s not royalty, but grew up in his kingdom. Leona being royalty has had a significant impact on her life

Since Leona refused to tell us how he got his scar in canon, I decided to have fun making shit up. Basically both her and Leona went off somewhere dangerous and almost died at like 11 years old, leading to her getting in massive trouble and getting banned from both the castle and Leona for putting him in danger

Leona’s parents don’t like her. They’re pissed she almost got their son killed

Her parents aren’t on the best terms with her either cause they’re mad she fucked their relationship with the royal family. They still get along decently tho

Leona wasn’t taking that ban shit tho so he decided to start sneaking out of the castle to see Aziza. They then spent all their teenage years being friends in secret and then falling in love. They figured out all their feelings just before Leona left for his first year at NRC and they’ve been dating ever since (still in secret cause their parents would not be happy)

They’re both clingy and nap times are good

Leona is soft around her (especially in private) but don’t ever tell that to him cause he will rip your face off

She wants kids. Like really wants kids. And we know how Leona feels about kids sooo. It’s like the one wedge in their relationship

She also has a tattoo that matches Leona’s, just on her opposite arm. They got them together in a teenage rebellion fit

Ariel Thorn

Jade’s girlfriend (eventually)

She’s newer than the other two so there’s a lot more fleshing out to do with her

She is named after the Little Mermaid Ariel, much to her dislike

Her parents are weird cause they don’t particularly like the great seven/villains and whatever (hence being named after Ariel we don’t ask how they know this information we just accept it). This lead to a bit of a rift in their relationship

She’s a mage who attends the NRC sister school (that I decided is a thing now). She is in Octavinelle

As for her personality, I literally had sat down and just thought “Jade’s perfect girlfriend” and went from there

Essentially she’s Jade… but better. She does Jade better than Jade

She comes off as a sweet and caring person that Jade didn’t think anything of when they met first

Turns out she wants to see the world burn just as much as he does but she’s made it so like no one can read her that way unless she wants them to

Jade never even realized she was hiding anything until she basically outed herself to him as this top tier con not even he saw through. And once she revealed her true colours to him, he was genuinely shocked by her ability to fly under his radar and is immediately invested in her

The two of them don’t actually start dating like normal people, even when it’s fucking obvious they like each other. They know, yet choose to communicate and flirt using mind games instead of talking about their feelings properly

It’s essentially a battle to see who’s gonna cave in first really

She’s only oc with a last name just so she and Jade can aggressively call one another by last name with threatening undertones in a not flirty way at all

She’s touchy. But only with Jade. She’s not super into being touched unless it’s Jade and she will absolutely touch him unnecessarily. Like fixing his tie when there was nothing wrong with it just as an excuse to be close and touch him
