Hello everyone, here is a comic. I drew this the way I draw all of my comics: with one person (me) and with a punchline planned from the start. Any other way to draw a comic would be very silly and would require me to tag people like @buggachat and @ladybeug if they were somehow in any way involved in the comic making process. Which they weren't. I drew this solo and by myself.

I've shared a few pretty straightforward images using my CRT effect, but not much yet that really shows off what an over-engineered monstrosity I've created.
For a start, it's actually 3D. I built most of this in Blender.
Except for the optional bit that simulates composite video artifacts. I wrote that part in shader code and apply it to the base image as a separate step.
I made a high-res shadow mask texture, so it looks pretty good even from absurdly close up.
I can also adjust the scanline hardness and swap the slot mask for a dot mask or aperture grille to simulate different types of display.
Raytracing the whole thing ensures that all of these little details look nice and get sampled correctly, and if I want to change the glare reflecting off of the screen...
...I can adjust it by rearranging the furniture in the room.
So... yeah. That's what is current going on whenever I post pixel art with my CRT effect. It's not quite perfect yet, but I think it's getting pretty good.

AU where Leo is trapped in the Prison Dimension for months instead of minutes and the only way he gets by with his sanity intact is through recording himself talking to his wrist comm.
When they finally manage to get Leo back and make him rest up to heal, Donnie can’t help but listen to the recordings left behind.
He’s not sure what exactly he’s expecting, only that his subconscious is screaming at him that it has to be heartbreaking, that it has to be torturous.
Instead, what Donnie is subject to is a full thousand hours’ worth of Jupiter Jim and Lou Jitsu crossover fanfiction. More than one part in the series. Spanning well over a million words.
(The worst part is that it’s actually good.)

How do think everyone in the batfamily would react to meeting Thomas and Martha?
Tim: [Conspiracy theorist noises, no one knows if they’re good or bad]
Jason: great, more rich people. Not like we have enough of those. [Loves Martha and wants to know if Catherine is okay, if there’s even a possibility of knowing.]
Dick: sorry I knocked off your ashes while doing gymnastics, grandpa. I think you were in the vacuum cleaner for a while :/
Thomas: meh, it happens :D as long as you’re having fun!
Duke: ok so wait. You’re telling me Gotham used to be WORSE?
Damian: [Keeps getting his cheeks pinched] Can you purchase the government and make animal abuse punishable by hanging?
Thomas: I’m sure we can make that happen! Anything for my little man!
Bruce: Father :|
Thomas: What, I miss the death penalty. Now those were the days.
Bruce: Mother!
Martha: Don’t look at me. I made Luigi Maroni drink a bleach cocktail for kicking a cat.
Damian: …You’ve earned my admiration, Grandmother.

Now I am not saying that Drumbot Brian on the drums or banjo are over appreciated because I don't think it is possible to appreciate anything about Drumbot Brian too much, BUT I do think that Drumbot Brian on the accordion is terribly underappreciated.
Look at this. How can you see this and Not want to talk about him on the accordion for the rest of time?? Also the instrument itself is pretty and matches the rose on his hat.
