January 22: Miller/Bellamy, Five
I don't know why I keep gravitating to this universe but here's more of this thing. Not sure what I'm doing with it. It's probably hit the end of the road in terms of ideas but like... we'll see. I love being repetitive.
Miller/Bellamy, S2/S3 hiatus, not-quite-500 words, ~18 minutes
Semi-explicit.
*
Miller's gotten Bellamy off four times and they've never even kissed. It's barely even sex--more like part of his lieutenant's duties or something. Stress relief, or boredom. As long as there's no romance and no intimacy, it's not cheating. He's got a man out there he wants to marry someday.
After the fifth time, Bellamy reciprocates. It's pretty obvious he's never been with another guy before: he's trying to replicate what he likes as if he's looking in a mirror, and the touch of his hand is uncertain, awkward. Still works though. Miller closes his eyes like he's somewhere else and wraps his palm around Bellamy's hand to help him and the worst part is that he can feel Bellamy's breath against his shoulder and hear the little sounds he's making, in that voice he could never mistake for anyone else.
"You don't have to, you know," Miller tells him after. His voice is still sex-rough. He's not got enough air in his lungs. "I mean, it's fine."
"Know it's fine," Bellamy says, which isn't really an answer.
No one told them that after the war would be so boring. No one told him that all the hard labor in the world--building up the camp and securing the perimeter, scavenging food, scouting--won't ever be enough to stop the bad thoughts in his head. He needs to be so fucking tired at the end of the day that he collapses on the mattress and just feels himself ache. And it's not just that Bellamy's there on the other side of that mattress, but that's part of it, and the rest is that he still loves him like a leader, he's still trying to give him loyalty or maybe thanks or maybe peace. The good kind that buzzes out the brain.
Real peace. Not Bellamy pacing at night, peering out between the slats of their window shade, watching and waiting and missing.
This feels more like infidelity than even fucking would: how he wants to call come back to bed, how he's imagining Bellamy with those Dropship girls and then with someone special on the Ark and then with him.
Every time it happens, he needs it more.
The better way of seeing it is that he's not in the aftermath of anything, that life is just like this: sometimes a fight for his survival and sometimes just the bleak ground and dustings of snow and a horizon line he cannot see. He watches the others, recovering, retreating. He tells himself that, personally, he's doing fine.
They've never kissed.
Bellamy asks him if he had someone on the Ark, meaning, someone who was yours, and he almost lets himself get choked up about it--the horizon line he cannot see. But instead he answers, "A boyfriend on Farm," and the words come out so even it was as if he didn't feel at all.

putting out so many bellamy fics, here's the playlist I listen to while writing fics
Bellamy Blake - Arkadia
꒰ ୨୧ ꒱ ⸝⸝ You had a dream about your best friend Bellamy, and you try to suppress the feelings by avoiding him. Bellamy doesn't let this slide. ﹒ ⊹ ⤷ cw: smut, piv, praise, nsfw, gentle Bellamy
Tumblr media
His hand glided along my thigh, sending shivers down my spine. My breathing became erratic the closer and closer he got to my cunt, the place I craved his touch the most. Bellamy leaned down, giving sweet kisses to my stomach area before I finally felt his fingers on my pussy, sliding up and down coating his fingers with my slick.
I just about came when he pushed two fingers inside me, thrusting them up and hitting my sweet spot.
"Hey!" Octavia, my roommate, yelled.
I shot up instantly looking around taking in my surroundings, a wave of disappointment washing over me, suddenly missing the dream I had just awoken from. Why had I been dreaming of Bellamy of all people? He was my best friend!
My disappointment was replaced by my guilt.
"You've been asleep an hour past breakfast, wake up." She spoke, putting on her black boots and lacing them.
An hour? What happened to my alarm clock?
Octavia noticed my confused look towards my clock, "You didn't set it last night,"
Shit.
I climbed out of bed and almost tripped on my blanket. I walked to my dresser and pulled out a fairly cute outfit. Shorts, a tank top, and Bellamy's guard jacket I still needed to return. But I knew he'd have to steal it back to get it.
"Where are you off to today?" I asked Octavia, putting on my socks and then my brown boots. I saw her stand and grab her sword, placing it in the holster on her back.
"Gonna spend the day with Lincoln, makes things less boring around here." She opened the door to our room and left.
Leaving me to only my thoughts memories of the dream came flooding back to me. It was like I could actually feel his touch on my thigh. His big, calloused hands, his soft kisses to my stomach, touching me as if I were a porcelain doll.
Shaking my head I snapped out of my thoughts, I had things to do today.
Walking to my little clay shop beside the Armory I sat down on my stool. Reaching under the desk I brought out a lump of clay I left to dry.
I had a clay shop, though it wasn't really a shop. Bring me the dirt and I'll make you whatever you want. It made the days less boring and brought smiles to everyone's faces, people would commission things for their partners, moms, siblings, and friends. Knowing my little sculptures could bring such joy to the people of Arkadia was a nice feeling.
Slapping the lump down on the desk I rolled up the sleeves of Bellamy's jacket and began kneading it, this is where most of my strength came from. Once I was sure it was soft enough to work with I sat back down, dunked my hands in the water, and began sculpting. Taking mini lumps from the big piece of clay.
I had finished two before my thoughts caught up with me.
Kneading the clay again, I thought about Bellamy's hands, mouth, hair, and body. How good he'd feel against me.
"Clays not gonna knead itself," Bellamy spoke in an amusing tone.
I hadn't even noticed I stopped kneading.
The sight of Bellamy made my heart drop, without his usual jacket you could see his muscular arms, a sight I needed engraved in my brain.
Looking at his face my eyes were wide, I had hoped he didn't notice my unusual staring. I needed to get my head out of the gutter.
"Yeah, just got distracted," I replied, an awkward laugh coming after.
Bellamy raised an eyebrow, bringing his hands to his hips. He definitely noticed.
"You okay, princess?"
That name again. I practically melted every time he called me it, though I'm sure he meant it in a friendly manner it just sounded so good coming from him.
I let out a series of stutters before taking a breath, "Yes," It came out as more of a question than an answer, and I knew he didn't believe me.
Then finally, my saving grace came.
"Oh, look, customer," I say, the look on Bellamy's face still evident.
A customer from two weeks ago approached my shop, Bellamy looked between us and took his leave.
A part of me felt bad knowing I had pushed him away slightly. But id never get any work done if he was standing there looking so damn good-
"Hi, I'm here for the fox statue. For my boyfriend." She greeted me with a bright smile, clearly full of excitement to see the final result.
I returned her smile and nodded, "I remember! Let me get it,"
A few hours had passed since then and the sun was setting, many happy customers, and I somehow seemed to get a lot of work done.
Closing down shop I washed my hands in the bucket of water and walked towards the mess hall, feeling my stomach rumble.
Entering the room I looked to see what was on the menu for tonight's dinner.
Fish and tomatoes were an odd pairing but given our resources it was fairly good.
Grabbing a plate from Sinclair I searched for some familiar faces, to which I only found Bellamy.
Thinking the previous feelings for him faded I walked up and sat in front of him, a smile greeted me at my presence.
"Where is everyone?" I asked, getting comfortable and taking a bite of the fish. Not very flavorful.
"They headed to bed early,"
"Why didn't you?"
"Wanted to ask what was up with you earlier,"
Thank god I had finished my food, the intensity of his stare would've made my appetite vanish.
"I've just been distracted," I stated, hoping he would just take that for an answer. But I knew he'd keep budging.
"With?"
"I'm getting pretty tired, I'm gonna head to bed," I stood abruptly, not wishing to continue the conversation further. How else am I supposed to tell me best friend I had a wet dream about him and everytime I see him it comes back to me?
"Bye, bell," I flashed a nervous smile and quickly walked off before he could say anything else.
I knew I'd have to confront him sometime, but I'd hold off as long as I could until then.
Making it to my shared room I quickly opened the door and entered, Octavia probably spending the night in Lincoln's room. I was grateful for that, tonight I just needed to be alone.
Getting undressed I put on a pair of pajama shorts and just used Bellamy's jacket as a top.
Climbing into bed I slid under the covers, making sure to set my alarm this time.
Staring up at the ceiling for a good hour my mind clouded over with thoughts of Bellamy, it was expected at that point. I hadn't even noticed my hand going towards my cunt, rubbing myself through the fabric. Letting out soft, quiet moans at the feeling. As good as it felt I needed more.
My hand slid underneath the shorts and I teased my entrance, just as Bellamy did in my dream. Pushing into myself with two fingers the feeling was amazing, but imagining It was Bellamy again wasn't enough. I craved him, and in my lusty haze, I shot up and headed for the door.
I couldn't believe I was going to do this, I couldn't believe how badly I needed him.
I made a B-line for Bellamy's room, knocking on it. I was practically banging on it. A few seconds passed until I was met with the sight of Bellamy towering over me, his messy hair going in all directions, his shirt that hugged his arms so well, and his sweatpants that barely hid anything.
"Is your roommate in there?" I ask breathily.
With a shake of his head, I connect our lips in a messy needy kiss. The feeling of our lips touching for the first time makes me shiver, Bellamy makes no motion to push me off, instead, he pulls me inside, shutting the door with his hand. He picks me up and carries me to the bed, needing this just as much as I do.
He only pulls away when he sets me down on the bed, unzipping the jacket to find nothing under making him slyly smirk, my face flushed with an unimaginable redness. My mind now catching up with my heart.
This was really happening.
His hands gently fondle my breasts, soon snaking their way down my sides, to my hips, and then to my shorts, with every touch of his fingers, my body shivered, bathing in the attention from his hands and eyes.
He easily took off my shorts, the cool air hitting my now vulnerable warm cunt.
Bellamy was at a loss for words, never seeing something so beautiful before. The bulge in his pants now makes the material stick out in a more than noticeable way.
The feeling of embarrassment caught up with me, I moved my arms to cover myself but was stopped by Bellamy's tight grip.
"Don't," He demanded, letting go of my arms once I nodded shyly.
With a flushed face, Bellamy lowered his pants, revealing his cock. He took ahold of my legs and placed them on his shoulders, "Okay?" He asked, making sure this was really happening.
"Yeah, that's... that's good," I replied, reassuring him.
He guided his tip along my slit, coating it with my wetness as a type of lube. The feeling of him being so close to me made the hairs on my neck stand up.
I had wondered for a moment what people would think of us, but too in the moment to care.
Readying himself, Bellamy looked down at me again, taking in the sight of me with his jacket on.
"Please, I needed this," I muttered, "Needed you,"
"Feelings mutual, princess,"
And before I could reply he pushed in slowly, giving me time to adjust to his size. I let out a moan as he bottomed out in me. My hands reaching out for his, he met me halfway and grabbed ahold of them. His big hands intertwined with mine. He placed our hands above my head and gave them a squeeze.
I squeezed back, hard.
"Can I move?" He asked, he so badly wanted to move. But he wanted our first time together to be gentle, sweet, and full of genuine love.
I nodded hesitantly, preparing myself for the pain and pleasure.
Bellamy pulled out and pushed back in at a slow pace, agonizing to him, it took everything in him not to just slam back into you at a rough pace.
The moans I let out sounded like heaven to him, he couldn't help but join in with his own grunts of pleasure, the way I would tighten around him started to become too much, and he couldn't keep his own sounds in.
"You're doing so good," Bellamy assured between groans, his voice had become gruff.
I bit my lip to try and stay quiet, fearful the room next to him might hear.
Bellamy didn't like that at all, "Let them out, princess,"
And when I shook my head 'no', he slammed into me hard, forcing my moans out as I squeezed his hand more.
"Bellamy!" I moaned out.
This only egged him on, loving the way his name sounded on my tongue.
As much as it hurt, it felt amazing how well he filled me, and how easily he could hit my sweet spot.
"Faster, please," I begged, staring into his eyes.
"Alright, princess,"
Bellamy leaned in closer making my legs bend more, letting him go deeper inside me. His pace began to speed up, making my moans grow louder in volume.
Every thrust was a new place deeper inside me, I felt my legs begin to shake, the familiar feeling of ecstasy creeping up my stomach.
He must've caught on, "It's okay, cum on my dick, princess, go ahead,"
His reassuring words put me over the edge, "Bellamy, Bellamy!"
My back arched as I reached my high with Bellamy fucking me through it.
My climax brought him even closer, the way my pussy clenched around his cock was overwhelming for him. His thrusts became sloppy and unhinged. He tried to keep it in, to make this moment last longer.
His brows furrowed while he stared into my eyes, saving this memory forever, "You're so beautiful," he breathed out, "So pretty with my jacket on,"
With a few more erratic thrusts he quickly pulled out, finishing on my stomach, bringing a newfound warmth all over.
Full of hesitance he let go of my hands, taking off his shirt and cleaning his cock and my stomach off while catching his breath. He threw the shirt into a bin in the corner of his room. Now taking a place next to me, wrapping his arms around my exhausted body.
"Been dreaming of that since we met," He whispered in my ear, placing kisses all over my neck.
I smiled.
If only he knew.

𖥔 ˑ ִ ֗ ִ AARON HOTCHNER
ᥫ᭡ a joyful future
a criminal minds big family!au where aaron gets the love and security he deserves.
ᥫ᭡ agents and asphodel
you hand in your resignation to the BAU.
there is no fanfare, no warning. one minute you’re there, and three weeks later, you’re gone, ousted at the insistence of strauss. but an unknown past holds the key to your personal horror story, one that you thought ended years before and is back with a vengeance — one set on taking you far, far away from the people you call your family.
ᥫ᭡ of terrible coffee and late-night rides
he watches you. maybe the two beers are going to his head, despite his infamous reputation as a heavyweight — all he knows is that his eyes follow as you slip through the crowds, sending beaming grins to some people you know from the office, and... you don’t know, do you? you don’t know how you make people feel. how you make every person you lay eyes on feel like they’re the only one you see; like they’re one in a million. important. you capture their attention with just one look and you keep it, too. you never go away — you burrow yourself into his brain and make a place for yourself there and—
their brains. that’s what he meant.
or: moments throughout your relationship with one aaron hotchner.
ᥫ᭡ moments
agent aaron hotchner, your boss, absolutely hated you. he was suspicious of your true intentions. but you were determined to prove yourself to him, no matter how long it took. or— the long, painful, winding road it takes for you and aaron to get your happily ever after.
ᥫ᭡ intelligence & issues
you’ve been working for the BAU for almost a year now. you know how you feel about your supervisor, but you also know it’s a lost cause. when the next case the BAU is assigned takes the team to your hometown, will it bring the two of you closer, or rip you apart for good?
ᥫ᭡ a hard day’s night
after graduation from the FBI Academy, all new agents go through a year of new agent training before becoming official agents of the bureau. by some stroke of luck, you get assigned to complete your training with the department you’ve always wanted to join— the behavioral analysis unit. you signed up for a year of profiling, case work, and catching serial killers, but you’re in for more than you could ever dream of…
ᥫ᭡ wanna be yours
professor hotchner’s criminal law class has a reputation. professor hotchner has a reputation. on your first day, you manage to draw his anger. he seems to hate you. what happens behind closed doors... that’s a different story.
ᥫ᭡ accidents
as the newest member of the BAU, you had nothing but professional respect for your boss, ssa aaron hotchner. sure, he was an attractive man, but your mind had never strayed even close to considering him as anything more than a capable and accomplished unit chief. this changes drastically through a series of “accidents” and in the end, there is nothing professional about your relationship anymore.

it’d been 10 weeks since spencer died in your arms. at least, that’s what you thought. (rewrite of the emily/doyle arc with spencer taking emily’s place)
ᥫ᭡ be a rebel, be bad, stay here and cuddle with me
“i love you, i love you,” he murmured between pecks. tangled in the sheets, his long arms still enveloped your form as he peeked up at the small clock on the bedside table behind you, a heavy sigh promptly escaping his lungs as he read the time, “but i really gotta get up and go to work…”

ᥫ᭡ north to the future
the year is 1999. you are just beginning your veterinary practice in juneau, alaska. aegon is a mysterious, troubled newcomer to town. you kind of hate him. you are also kind of obsessed with him. falling for him might legitimately ruin your life… but can you help it? oh, and there’s a serial killer on the loose known only as the ‘ice fisher.’

ᥫ᭡ the pawn in every lover’s game
when you’re ten, your father sends you to king’s landing to befriend a princess and woo a prince. a lioness growing up amongst dragons is a dangerous thing indeed.
ᥫ᭡ children of the empire
you are the eldest daughter of rhaenyra, princess of dragonstone, and twin to her heir, prince jacaerys. when your younger brother assails your uncle in a childhood squabble, your grandsire, the king viserys, offers your hand in marriage as payment for aemond’s lost eye. plighted in a match that is beheld by many and desired by none, you find yourself alone in a nest of vipers, forced to watch as your mother and the queen maneuver and vie for influence within the court and the realm. despite your youth, fears, and insecurity, you know you must apply your will and wits to one claim or another, but this choice becomes more and more difficult as you find yourself further entrenched within the family who would see your mother and siblings fed to the flames.
ᥫ᭡ studious
your marriage to the one-eyed prince is not as romantic as you hoped. the wedding night is beyond awkward and confusing, and afterward, your husband seems more than content to ignore you. but you keep finding yourself drawn to him, and the strange way he makes you feel.
ᥫ᭡ to make them love me (and make it seem effortless)
you clutch the collar of his shirt. “why do you want to marry me, aemond?”
he looks down at you, and his hands twitch by his sides, no doubt wanting to feel your warmth permeate through your clothes. he can feel your heart hammering underneath your ribs, and he’s sure that if you slide your hands lower, you could feel his racing similarly. your body melds so perfectly to his, and you breathe in sync, as if engaged in a dance of their own. every molecule of your body thrums to life underneath his fingers, every second that passes between you is charged with a tension that threatens to push the both of you over the precipice, and still you do not see.
he hates that, even with one eye, he does.
you await his answer with bated breath, but he sees the way your eyes briefly flicker down to his lips.
ᥫ᭡ take me to the lakes (where all the poets went to die)
you and prince aemond hadn’t seen each other for years since you left the red keep. now, you’re back.
ᥫ᭡ comet donati
sex, drugs, boy bands. you are a kinda-therapist recruited (via nepotism) to help comet donati through a recent crisis. things are casual with aegon, very not-casual with aemond. loosely inspired by one direction.

pornstar!joel miller AU
ᥫ᭡ allowed to be happy
while snowed in on a scouting mission, you tell dina the story of how you and joel met.
ᥫ᭡ mercy.
in a dog-eat-dog world of sliced throats and broken bones in exchange for primal survival, begging for mercy should have been the very last resort.
especially when a certain survivor was holding you at gunpoint.
ᥫ᭡ mr. rattlebone

ᥫ᭡ guard duty
guard duty was absolutely the worst, you thought to yourself with a bitter sense of resolution, but at least it meant some peace and quiet. the watchtower was set directly above the main entrance gate to jackson, a closed off wooden structure with stairs leading to the inside and an outer catwalk circulating it.
sometimes, the town could get on your nerves with how full of life and bustling it seemed to be; but you wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world. that sort of thing was a hidden oasis in a world like this, almost too good to be true, and you knew you were lucky to be part of it, even if it meant never ending guard duties at the early hours of morning, when the sun still wouldn’t be out for quite some time.
you sighed again.
“if you sigh one more time,” joel muttered in a monotonous voice, “i swear, i’m gonna throw you outta this window.”

[SPOILERS IF YOU HAVEN'T FINISHED THE 100]
has anyone else noticed that everyone lost their first "love" (quotation cause some of the following relationships had shitty development)
Abby lost Jake
Octavia lost Atom
Clarke and Raven lost Finn
Jasper lost Maya
Bellamy lost Gina
Lexa lost Costia (assuming she was her lover, don't remember if it was specified)
Luna lost Derrick (I think that was his name and assuming he was her first love for purposes)
Miller lost Bryan
Monty lost Harper
Jordan lost Priya
Gabriel lost Josephine
Echo lost Bellamy (or the real Echo, maybe. either way)
Everyone except Murphy (and well Jackson but eh). (okay technically she did die but he brought her so it doesn't really count) Like they fucked up his whole psyche, but they didn't take Emori. Why is he the only one who got any mercy?
Like they were merciless with everyone. Clarke lost all of her lovers in some way (Niylah betrayed her), both her parents, her best friend TWICE, and her daughter (not even to mention all the shit she went through to survive/save her people and all the hate she got for it, you don't gotta like the character just respect her ruthlessness). They made Bellamy a sheep (multiple times *cough* fucking Pike *cough*) and made his whole death pointless cause he was right and Madi gave herself up like immediately after (so fucking mad you don't even know). Raven lost her childhood best friend/lover after he cheated on her (her childhood for fucks sake), her leg, ALIE (that was bad in general but damn), had to stop her own heart to survive, and then Shaw. Jasper went through it before he took himself out. Monty was hated by his best friend (just the Mount Weather incident), forced to kill his mom twice, watched his best friend die, sent his son into danger, watched Harper die, and never saw anyone he loved again (hell, whether he died of old age or not is still up in the air, they never found a body). They threw sweet Jordan into a horror show by the scruff of his neck. Echo had a childhood for sure. Gabriel had lifetimes of fuckery. The fucking disservice to Lexa (and Lincoln) by having her be shot. Luna killed her own brother and lover then watched her entire clan die. Miller lost his dad and was in the bunker... Abby got her husband killed, the bunker, Kane, and then was just erased (POOF bye bitch👋 wtf). And Octavia (need I say more? I will tho). Raised under the floor, imprisoned for being born, mom dead, dad who?, Atom, Lincoln, Ilian, you are Wonkru or you are the enemy of Wonkru, cannibalism, watched her first kinda child die (Ethan), banished by her own brother, lost time with Hope, and lost Diyoza.
And Murphy went through it too. Like BADLY but he never had to live without Emori.
This post is nothing. I just think that's beautiful.

December 4: Miller/Bellamy, Fake Dating + Ugly Holiday Sweaters
2022 Ficmas #1
Miller/Bellamy, College AU, ~1500 words
For the prompt "fake dating and ugly holiday sweaters" from a prompt generator I made to help me be festive
Wrote this in a little over an hour and did minimal edits. Have this rare pair in these wintry times.
*
Miller agrees to attend the annual Wallace House Ugly Sweater Holiday Party on one condition: that Bellamy go with him as his boyfriend.
The Ugly Sweater Party is a holiday tradition that Bellamy, as the dorm president, is required not only to organize but to attend, even though he's not usually one to make public his collection of holiday attire. He'll do almost anything to get Miller to go with him, as if a buddy to look stupidly festive with somehow lessens the embarrassment of the experience. They've been friends for over two years now and Miller knows he'll grumble and argue but ultimately concede. At any rate, he's not imposing this condition to be a dick but because Bryan, who broke up with him last Halloween but didn't have the decency to transfer schools or even move to a different dorm, is going to be there in his own stupid sweater, and so Miller simply can't show up alone.
"You know I'm not gay, right," Bellamy reminds him, as he digs beneath a pile of once-neatly-folded long sleeved shirts in his dresser. "More importantly, everyone knows I'm not gay."
"You're in college," Miller answers. He's leaning back on Bellamy's bed, kicking his heels against the metal frame. "Everyone experiments in college."
Bellamy shoots him a look, still skeptical, and instead of answering throws a navy-blue sweater in Miller's face. He can't tell what's on it yet, but it jingles, so it definitely fits the theme.
"I can't believe you own not one, but two, ugly holiday sweaters," he says, later, as they tramp down the stairs to the first floor. This is a lie. He fully believes Bellamy owns a half dozen. But it's weird that he took at least two to school. Miller's features a Rudolph with three-dimensional red nose and puffy antlers adorned with inexplicable little bells. Bellamy's is a red, white, and green striped monstrosity, which makes him look like a candy cane. A handsome candy cane, but a candy cane nevertheless.
Bellamy just grunts. "And you don't even own a regular sweater," he answers, turning around to push open the parlor door with his back.
"Because we don't have winter in California. Anyway, boyfriends share clothes. It's part of the thing."
The parlor looks pretty much as it always does, except for the strings of small, white lights that have been looped about the room, and which make it seem softer and cozier and warmer, and yet it stands in such sharp contrast to the dusky blues of early twilight outside, the hints of cold and asphalt and brick still waiting for snow, that even the familiar reds and browns of the bookcases, the furniture, the rugs and the wooden floor, seem a particular, special oasis in the frigid guttering of the year. A few small groups of freshmen have already arrived, unfashionably early, but so far the only people Miller knows are the dorm council themselves. Clarke is putting the finishing touches on the food table, carefully turning her plate of thumbprint cookies and rearranging the red and green napkins and the red plastic plates.
One of the freshmen is wearing a reindeer antler headband. Clarke's sweater has a snowman on it, surrounded by little puffs of falling snow.
"Here," Bellamy says, handing him a candy cane. "Be festive. Have fun."
Miller jumps up and down, letting the bells on his sweater ring. "I jingle. How much more fun could I have?"
He stays mostly by the food, and keeps Bellamy by his side, pretending to be some kind of host, while additional freshmen and then sophomores and juniors filter in. At some point after he's realized there's hot chocolate in the containers at the end of the table, but before he's able to fill a cup for himself, he notices that Bryan has somehow slipped in unobserved. He's sitting in the armchair in the corner, talking to a girl Miller doesn't recognize, and he's not sure what hurts worse: that he didn't see Bry come in or that they're both okay to just exist like this, leagues away from each other at opposite ends of the room.
"Hey—take it easy there—sweetheart," Bellamy mumbles, carefully taking Miller's hands away from the hot chocolate dispenser, before he overflows his fragile paper cup. Thank fuck he destroyed the moment with an awkward endearment, or Miller might have gotten too distracted by the surprisingly soft warmth of his calloused hands.
"Don't call me that again," he warns, shrugging back his shoulders to save face. Bryan's sweater, he's decided, is insufficiently ugly. It's a basic green cable knit pullover, and he looks too stupidly good in it.
Bellamy steps sideways in front of him, blocking his view—mercifully, annoyingly—and Miller scowls at him.
"You know you're being a terrible date," Bellamy says.
"You should kick him out for not following the dress code."
"Yeah, I'm sure Clarke will try." He tilts his head, trying to catch Miller's eye, not quite smiling but so close to it that his expression has become almost sweet. Almost fond. Maybe this is how he looks at his girlfriends. Maybe this is how he gets dates with girls—Miller can understand how it would work. "Seriously," he adds. "Are we boyfriends or not?"
Obviously not. But the point is taken. Before he can answer, a too-familiar voice from behind Bellamy says, "Excuse me," and Bellamy steps aside to clear the way to the hot chocolate and also to reveal, of course, Bryan, fiddling with the stack of paper cups. Up close, Miller can see that his hair is slightly ruffled, his cheeks pink from the stuffy, artificial heat of the room.
"Hey, Nate."
"Bry. Uh." He has to have something more to say than just his name. "Nice sweater."
"Yeah.” He grins, glancing over at Miller for just a moment as he pours hot chocolate into his cup. “You too. You look festive. I wish I had something actually on-theme like that."
He is not being complimented on his Rudolph sweater. His brain's not working fast enough, can't tell if the comment is sarcastic or sincere, or just a bald flirtation, or if he's only hoping it might be. "Thanks. It's—"
"It's mine, actually," Bellamy fills in. He slips his free hand around to Miller's back, keeps it settled there in a subtly proprietary way. Miller watches the way Bryan's eyes follow the movement, and he steps a little closer, so that his hip bumps up against Bellamy's hip. "Someone told me that sharing clothes is something that boyfriends do. But if Miller tries to borrow my boots, we might have to break up."
"Good thing I have kickass boots of my own," Miller answers. The grin on his face, which feels sappy and love-struck, is annoyingly genuine. He almost feels bad about it. Like he’s showing off a new-found happiness that’s actually real.
Bryan shifts his weight between his feet awkwardly. "They are pretty great boots," he agrees. "Hey, it was good running into you." And he reaches out and squeezes Miller's arm briefly, and for the first time, the touch feels like any ordinary touch, devoid of all particular, heartbreaking meaning.
"Yeah, you too," Miller echoes. You too.
Later, he and Bellamy split one of the last brownies, pulling it apart awkwardly while crumbs drop onto their laps and gooey bits of frosting threaten to drip off from the sides, sitting side by side on the loveseat by the window. The sun has set completely now, and the glass shows nothing of the outside, only reflects back the fairy lights and their own wavering outlines, as they toast with their desserts and then lick chocolate from their fingers. For a wild moment, Miller imagines grabbing Bellamy's hand, licking it clean. They're pressed up much closer than they need to be, and the room is mostly empty now, and Bellamy is watching him with that unreadable, affectionate expression on his face again. Somehow the laughter of a few moments ago, as they fumbled around with their dessert, has become a too-long silence. A silence on the edge of something he can almost name, a captured gaze he won’t let go.
"Thought you were only into girls," Miller says, as he feels them leaning in. Bellamy still has a brownie crumb stuck to the corner of his mouth, and when Miller brushes it away, he inhales sharply, and then grabs Miller’s hand in his.
Bellamy shrugs. "Everyone experiments in college," he answers, and closes the last distance between them, but the kiss is too sweet and tentative and true to be only that. Miller smiles as they part, briefly, almost laughing, and then immediately intertwine themselves again.

Bellamy Blake - Arkadia
꒰ ୨୧ ꒱ ⸝⸝ Bellamy calls a group meeting to decide certain defense plans and catch up with everyone, but his jealousy gets the best of him. ﹒ ⊹ ⤷ cw: smut, p in v, jealousy, nsfw, degrading, praise
Tumblr media
Walking into the main room where we kept the rovers I saw chairs near an open rover, my friends sitting in all of them.
Everyone had a smile on their face. Everyone being, Clarke, Bellamy, Monty, Jasper, Harper, and Miller. It was nice when we got to just sit and catch up with each other, not worry about grounders and Polis, even If it was for a mere hour.
Walking up to the group I was met with greetings and questions. I took a seat in the back of the open rover, my legs sticking out as my hands found their place on the edge of the floor.
"You missed Bellamys 'defense' plans," Miller spoke to me with a laugh, doing air quotes. earning a scoff from Bellamy.
"What am I ever gonna do now?" I reply, joining Miller's laughter.
"You should've heard it! Stupidest thing-" Jasper soon got cut off by Bellamy's stern voice.
"Where were you," Bellamy asked, eyeing me up and down, not that I noticed.
My laughter died down, same with Millers at Bellamy's tone. A thick silence now surrounded the group.
I furrowed my eyebrows, "I was just hanging with Kyle and lost track of time." I finished with a shrug.
I didn't understand why discussing defense plans we never would use was so important to him, Monty could've just relayed the plan to me afterward. Me and Bellay had been friends for a while, even on the Ark, he would come and visit me on visitation days while I was in the cell.
Bellamy scoffed and placed his hands on his hips- something he often did when he was frustrated. "These are important meetings, don't miss them for some guy." Bellamy's eyes were still focused on my outfit. I was wearing a pair of short shorts and a T-shirt that hugged me in all the right places.
Everyone started to shift uncomfortably in their seats, their smiles now long gone.
"It's okay Bellamy, well just tell her the plan after, for what it's worth I thought it was a good idea." Clarke chirped up from next to him, placing a hand on his shoulder which he quickly shrugged off.
Here comes Clarke, sucking up for Bellamy. It was something she had always done. Wherever Bellamy was, she was right there next to him, it got on my nerves most of the time, how close they would always be.
I rolled my eyes at Clarke's sentence, crossing my arms on my chest; only helping to push my tits up more. Which Bellamy took full note of.
"Hey, Monty we have that, uh, thing remember?" Jasper spoke to Monty.
"Oh, yeah, right, we should get going."
"Me too." Harper butted in
The three quickly stood up and exited the room, clearly trying to get away from the awkward, thick tension.
"I should get going too, the wall isn't gonna watch itself." Miller joked, chuckling awkwardly.
"Let me go with-" Bellamy cut me off.
"I need to talk with you," He started, "Alone," he finished, looking at Miller and Clarke. A sign they should leave.
Clarke pursed her lips before nodding and joining Miller before leaving, closing the airlock door.
I felt my heartbeat quicken, it was just me and Bellamy now. Alone.
A few moments had passed of him just staring me down, studying my every move as I shifted in my position, my legs now crossed along with my arms.
I cleared my throat, "What did you need?" I asked with a stutter, my nerves were through the roof.
They always were when I was alone with him. He always had such a strong effect on me, his good looks, his strong body. Bellamy was the one I thought of late at night.
"What were you doing with Kyle?" Bellamy asked, walking closer to me, making me look up at him from where I was sitting.
I rolled my eyes and scoffed, was he really jealous?
"He was showing me a blueprint for a new scope he was making. Why? You jealous?" I teasingly spoke.
My teasing seemed to fuel his anger more.
"In that outfit? Yeah, right." Bellamy laughed, crossing his arms
My brows creased, "What's wrong with my outfit?" I looked down at it, examining it myself. The shorts were a bit short, but it's not like anyone would be looking.
"You're always walking around in those skimpy outfits, Kyle was probably eye fucking you." Bellamy was so close I could smell him, a smell I've come to love, a smell I've dreamed of for years.
"I don't say anything when Clarke is practically on top of you," I admitted, who was he to tell me I wear skimpy outfits, I didn't even know he looked at me like that, though his words were harsh it sent a wave of warmth down my body.
Bellamy smiled, this was amusing to him. "You think I want Clarke?"
I rolled my eyes, making him grab my face, bringing me closer to his. "Don't roll your eyes at me, princess." Bellamy let me go harshly, if I was wet before I'm pooling now. I simply nodded my head, too starstruck to form a sentence, he chuckled in reply.
"Undress. Now." Bellamy demanded. I didn't even need to think about it, the moment he said those words it was done, my clothes found their way onto the floor, I had picked the wrong day to go without wearing panties.
Being the only one undressed I felt vulnerable, I looked back up at him and he knew what I wanted to say before I even had to say it.
"You wanna dress like a slut, you're gonna act like one too. Get in the fucking rover."
His words had me soaked, I was sure it was leaking down my leg.
I crawled into the back of the vehicle, laying down and using my arms to lift myself up a bit. The air was hot and full of lust, practically choking me. Bellamy crawled in right after me, he moved my legs and placed them on the sides of his hips.
Were we really gonna go through with this?
He was quick to unbuckle his belt and reveal his cock, I wasn't sure I could take all of him.
"Gonna show you who you belong to, you didn't even wear panties, you're such a slut." Bellamy breathed out, grabbing onto my hips and pulling me closer, I felt his tip rub up and down my pussy, earning a moan from me when it rubbed against my clit.
Bellamy smirked and thrusted into me. I moaned at the sudden feeling of being full, I felt my walls stretch around his cock. The pain was soon replaced with pleasure as his thumb traced circles around my clit.
"Gonna make you feel so good, slut, only I'm gonna make you feel this good."
His thrusts started off slow, a torturing pace. But it was enough to get my legs shaking, combined with his words and his thumb on my clit I was already cumming with a loud moan.
"Fuuuck, you sound so pretty cumming on my dick, princess, just like that."
Bellamy began thrusting harder, continuously hitting my sweet spot over and over again, forcing my back to arch. It all just felt too good.
His free hand came up and shoved my bra down, he made quick work of toying with my breasts. His groans became breathier, his grunts of pleasure enhancing my experience.
"Who do you belong to? Say it." With every word he spoke, he pulled out and slammed right back into me, forcing a pleasure-filled scream out of me, one part of me hoped nobody heard, and the other hoped everyone knew who was fucking me.
I already felt like I was gonna cum again, both his hands found their way to my hips, holding me down roughly.
When I couldn't reply he stopped all movements, leaving me whining and whimpering, I needed his cock, I craved it.
"Say it, or I swear to god I will drag you out of this rover and fuck you in front of everybody." I had no choice but to speak, not because I was scared of people seeing but because I needed him to keep fucking me, I needed to be used by him.
"I belong to you Bell, now please keep fucking me, please," I pleaded, my eyes fogging over with lust, all I could think about was him and his cock.
Bellamy smirked, satisfied with my answer, he began fucking me harder and faster than before. Chasing his own high. I was sure his grip on my hips would leave bruises, but I was glad, I wanted to remember this moment forever.
Wet loud sounds filled the vehicle, our moans intertwining as the sound of skin slapping against skin filled my ears. His cock filled my pussy so well, I knew nobody would ever fuck me this good again, I was all his.
My pussy clenched around his cock and I felt him twitch inside of me, he liked that.
"Keep doing that, be good for me princess."
I obeyed him and kept clenching, my legs now wrapped around his hips, needing him deeper inside me.
"So close, so close," He let out between moans, his thrusts now becoming sloppier. "Fuuck,"
I felt his warm cum fill my pussy, his thrust came to a slow gentle pace, still fucking his cum into me.
After catching his breath he pulled out, now leaving me feeling empty without him.
Just as he was about to say something the door behind him opened, revealing Kyle. A shocked, jaw-dropped Kyle. Bellamy quickly moved in front of me as Kyle took in the sight. Once he realized the situation he slammed the door.
My face was flushed red but Bellamy found the situation hilarious.
"I never want this to end," I admit, looking into his eyes.
"Then it won't, princess."

The following day greets you with a fragile tranquility, remnants of the prior day's chaos fading slowly into memory. As you, Bellamy, and Charlotte prepare to depart from the refuge of the cave, the crackling of the dying fire serves as a backdrop to the scene.
"Alright, let's get moving," Bellamy declares as he adjusts the straps of his pack. "We need to find Atom and figure out what the hell happened."
Bellamy, ever the impulsive one, rushes past you, his movements quick and purposeful. "Come on, let's go!" He calls over his shoulder to Charlotte, his brow is furrowed in concentration, eyes scanning the trees for any sign of Atom.
You nod in agreement, your own thoughts mirroring his as they move forward. you hang back for a moment. Your thoughts drift back to the young girl, Charlotte.
Despite her innocent appearance, there's something about her that rubs you the wrong way, a nagging feeling of unease that you can't quite shake.
The forest calls beyond the mouth of the cave, sunlight spearing the lush canopy to cast scattered gold upon the floor. You breathe deep the scent of rich earth and new growth, a balm after the underground darkness.
Your reverie shatters at a bloodcurdling scream - "Charlotte!" - your cry ricocheting off stone walls.
Wildly you scan the shadows for her and Bellamy. And then you see him - Atom, lying motionless on the ground. Dread grips you like a vice as you rush to his side.
"Atom." His name catches in your tight throat. With a racing pulse you grab for Atom's wrist, desperate for the beat of life.
Bellamy joins your bedside vigil over Atom's fog-ravaged body. Together you take stock of the horrific burns, the damage beyond healing. Atom stirs feebly at your whispers, eyes slitting open to fix on your faces.
"You think he's gonna make it?" Bellamy asks, unspoken fear dimming his usual arrogance.
You shake your head, your own voice barely above a whisper. "I don't know, Bellamy. It doesn't look good." Atom stirs at your touch, his eyes fluttering open, and he begs for mercy in a hoarse whisper.
Bellamy falters, Adam's apple bobbing. "Easy there, buddy," Bellamy says softly, hand hovering awkwardly over Atom's quaking shoulder. "We're here to help."
Atom's cracking voice interrupts, raw with agony. "Please," he gasps, fingers plucking at Bellamy's sleeve. "...make it stop."
Atom's eyes roll toward you, teeming with pain and desperate appeal, pleading for relief.
An unbearable decision hangs before you as you exchange a tense glance with Bellamy, each of you silently questioning if you're capable of making such a decision. Bellamy clutches the knife Charlotte handed him with whitened knuckles, hesitating.
The heavy quiet shatters at the crunch of leaves. Glancing up, you spot Clarke rushing toward you, Finn and Wells on her heels. Her gaze darts between you and Bellamy, questions burning behind her eyes.
"What happened?" she demands breathlessly.
You gesture helplessly to where Atom lays. "We found Atom," you explain, your voice heavy with emotion. Clarke's eyes widen, taking in his charred and weeping skin. "He's been burned by the fog. We don't know if he's gonna...”
You trail off but Clarke understands. With calm purpose, she kneels beside the boy, meeting his clouded eyes.
Some silent exchange seems to pass between them before she takes his hand. Then, gaze never leaving his, she draws her knife in one smooth motion. Atom doesn't flinch.
Humming softly, Clarke ends his suffering, the mercy killing masked behind that gentle melody. You look away, blinking through a film of tears as she continues humming him into the next life.
Finally, the song fades to silence. Hesitantly you glance back to see Clarke straightening slowly, face pale but composed. Her eyes shine with memories of other losses requiring similar strength.
You watch mutely as Clarke ends Atom's agony with that mournful melody, closing your eyes against the final act of mercy. A prickle on the back of your neck makes you glance over at Charlotte.
The girl stands frozen, transfixed by the blood blossoming across Atom's shirt. Her youthful face holds no horror or pity - only an eerie understanding that chills your bones.
Clarke's voice breaks the spell and Charlotte's faraway look vanishes, replaced by wide-eyed innocence as she meets your probing eyes.
Twilight bled through the trees as you trudged back to camp, haunted and exhausted. Atom lay cradled in a makeshift bed, head lolling with each footfall.
Every glimpse of his burnt and lifeless face, now at peace, cut deep. You slipped through the camp gates to find anxious faces of your fellow survivors ringing around him.
Bellamy's grim head shake was all it took to curdle the atmosphere from one of hopeful anticipation to one of somber mourning. Only Wells lingered, features carved with sorrow.
“I’ll go dig Atoms grave,” he offered quietly, nodding toward a secluded glade. Bellamy nodded before he stalked into the deepening gloom beyond the fires pits.
Too hollowed out for conversation, you drifted toward the dropship. As you made your way there, your attention was briefly drawn to a commotion nearby.
Bellamy stood locked in a heated exchange with Murphy, his voice continuing to rise in anger. You spared a glance at the confrontation, witnessing Bellamy grab Murphy's shirt and scream in his face.
“You lose anyone here?" Bellamy’s voice was laced with bitterness. "Jasper?"
Murphy's response was curt. "Still breathing. Barely. I tried to take him out, but your psycho little sister..."
In an instant, Bellamy lunged at Murphy, pulling Murphy close by the collar of his shirt. "My what? My what?" Bellamy's voice was a low growl, filled with anger and barely contained fury.
Murphy met his gaze with a steely resolve. "Your little sister."
Bellamy's grip tightened, his frustration boiling over. "Yeah, that's right. My little sister. Got anything else you want to say about her?"
Murphy's expression remained impassive as he studied Bellamy's face. "Nothing. Sorry."
With a final shove, Murphy pushed Bellamy off of him. With a shake of your head, you turned away Stepping into the dropship, you were greeted by its familiar smell - a mixture of sweat and metal. It was a scent that had become synonymous with home, despite its less-than-pleasant connotations.
Inside, Octavia, Finn, and Monty sat together, their faces illuminated by the soft glow of dim lights. They passed around a bottle, their laughter filling the air as you walked over to join.
You accepted the burning mouthful passed your way, the fiery liquid providing a temporary reprieve from the ache in your chest
Octavia took a swig from the bottle, her face contorting slightly at the taste. "Ugh, this stuff tastes like it's been sitting out in the sun for weeks."
Finn chuckled, taking the bottle from her and raising it to his lips. "Well, beggars can't be choosers, O."
You reached out for the bottle, taking a small sip before passing it along. "Yeah, it's definitely better than nothing." A moment of silence fell over the group as they each took a turn with the bottle, lost in their own thoughts.
A sudden clamor jerked you back to the present moment. With wide eyes, you spun around to see Jasper half risen from his sickbed, his laughter echoing through the air despite the split lips that marred his face.
"Can I, uh, get a hit of that?" Jasper's request, though laced with exhaustion, carried a glimmer of his usual mischievous spirit.
"Jasper!" Octavia exclaimed, relief flooding her voice as she approached his bedside.
You stood beside him, your voice a soothing murmur as you attempted to calm his delirium. "Easy there, Jasper," you said softly, your eyes filled with concern.
Jasper grinned back at you, his eyes bright with feverish excitement. " “Was that a dream or did I get speared?" he said, his words slurred with exhaustion.
Octavia shot you a grateful smile, her hands still resting on Jasper's shoulders as she guided him back down onto the bed. "He's a tough one, that's for sure," she said, her voice tinged with admiration.
Octavia shot you a grateful smile, her hands still resting on Jasper's shoulders as she guided him back down onto the bed. "He's a tough one, that's for sure," she said, her voice tinged with admiration. Clarke's voice joined in with a hint of teasing.
"Thank you for not dying. I don’t think I could’ve taken that today."
Jasper's playful demeanor returned as he quipped, "I'll try not to die tomorrow, too, if that's cool."
A bubble of astonished laughter escaped you, the tension of the moment breaking as you allowed yourself a moment of unbridled joy at Jasper's unexpected recovery.
Delinquents hurried about their tasks, their movements a blend of urgency and weariness. Some tended to the camp's makeshift defenses, reinforcing barricades and sharpening weapons. the sound of hammering and the shuffle of feet as everyone worked together to fortify their makeshift home.
Worn beyond exhaustion, you retreated to your dim, motionless shelter, seeking refuge from the heat.
No sooner had your body slumped atop the threadbare blanket than a blazing sunbeam shattered the tomblike gloom. Blinking against harsh daylight now spearing through your tent flap, you made out Octavia’s wild silhouette.
“Get up!” she ordered, panting as if she’d dashed straight here. “Jasper and I were exploring, we...look, you just gotta come see this.” A thread of real fear undercut her usual bravado.
“What’s going on?” Your chest constricted even as your legs obeyed, carrying you out beneath the unrelenting.
Octavia guided your steps, clutching one of your wrists and half-dragging you through the bustling camp to another tent where Clarke, Bellamy, and Jasper were already gathered.
Bursting inside, you blink at the grim tableau of Clarke, Bellamy and an alarmingly pale Jasper staring at a table. Octavia steers you to peer over Clarke's shoulder at a knife – and two severed fingers. Shock chokes the questions rising in your throat.
Clarke meets your horrified gaze grimly. “We found these just inside the gates.” She turns the knife around illuminating an embossed mark.
“The metal matches a broken panel on the dropship door.” Clarke took a deep breath, her resolve firm. "It means the Grounders didn't kill Wells. It was one of us," she stated, the weight of her words hanging heavy in the air.
“Wait...” Jasper’s voice shakes. "So, there's a murderer in the camp?" His wide eyes dart frantically, as if a culprit might emerge from the shadows. Everyone exchanges ominous looks in the fraught silence. Jasper's expression grew more troubled by the moment. "Clarke?" he pressed.
“One of over fifty suspects.” Bellamy folds his arms, radiating tension. “We need to keep this quiet until we figure out who’s walking around down here mutilating people.”
His stern glare settles on each member in turn, even young Octavia who juts her chin defiantly. “No one discusses this outside this tent. As far as the rest know, this never happened. Understood?”
Clarke's eyes flash, jaw set like stone. "Get out of my way, Bellamy," she warns, hand straying to the knife. "Whoever did this needs to answer for it." Jasper shifts anxiously from foot to foot in the wake of the standoff.
Bellamy stands firm, looming larger. "And what exactly is your plan, Clarke? Just gonna wave that knife around 'till the guilty party breaks down confessing?" Derision laces his scoff.
Clarke bristles, getting in his face now. "Yeah, maybe I'll start with you. What are you gonna do... keep people afraid and they'll work for you? Is that it?" she retorted, her tone dripping with sarcasm.
Bellamy barks out a harsh laugh. "Yeah. That's it."
As Clarke and Bellamy trade barbs, their words fade against the roaring in your ears. Surely concealing such darkness cannot end well...yet revealing it prematurely may unleash chaos. You clear your throat, drawing sharp eyes.
"Maybe - maybe Bellamy has a point," you venture, pulse thudding. "Panic helps no one." Clarke regards you almost betrayed, but you stand firm. “There’s more than one murderer in this camp... whoever they are, they're already outnumbered.”
Bellamy gives you an appraising look, a new glint of respect behind his brooding eyes as you continue, “It’s better to keep this between us. We don’t even know whose knife that is.”
"Oh, really?" she grinds out. " J.M. John Murphy. The people have a right to know.”
Clarke stormed out of the tent, her anger radiated. You exchanged a tense glance with Bellamy before your eyes wandered around the camp, searching for any signs of trouble.
In the distance, you spotted Charlotte standing alone, her expression troubled as she watched the unfolding confrontation. With a sinking feeling in your chest, you made your way toward her, your footsteps echoing off the dirt of the camp.
"Charlotte, are you okay?" you asked gently, your voice soft with concern as you approached her. She turned to you, her eyes wide with fear and uncertainty.
"I... I don't know," she stammered, her voice barely above a whisper.
You crouched down beside her, your gaze searching hers for any hint of what was wrong. That's when you noticed the blood on her hand, stark against her pale skin.
Your heart skipped a beat as you reached out to gently take her hand in yours, your fingers brushing against the sticky warmth of the blood.
"What happened?" you asked
Charlotte swallowed hard, her eyes brimming with tears. "I... I don't remember," she admitted, her voice trembling with fear. The voices of the crowd rang out in agreement with Bellamy and Clarke, their cries echoing through the air.
You turned just in time, watching in horror as the crowd grew increasingly antsy, their fury unleashed upon Murphy.
You pushed through the swarm, fighting to reach Clarkes side. The chants for Bellamy to finish the job filled the air, the sound sending a chill down your spine. You raised your voice above the clamor hoping to sway the crowd with reason.
"This isn't justice, it's vengeance!"  you shouted, your words echoing through the tumultuous air. But despite your efforts, the mob seemed deaf to reason, their anger consuming them.
Bellamy and Clarke were at the center of it all. You pushed your way through the crowd, determined to reach him and divert his attention from Clarke as they exchanged heated remarks.
“This is on you, princess. You should’ve kept your mouth shut.” You heard
You pushed Bellamy’s chest, "Bellamy, stop them!" you called out, your words barely audible over the roar of the crowd grasping Bellamy's arm. "Murphy wouldn't kill Wells. It was someone else.” The chants grew louder, each of the delinquents shouting Bellamy’s name in unison.
For an instant Bellamy meets your eyes, something wavering behind his mask of cold command. But then his chin lifts with familiar obstinance. Bellamy wrenches his wrist away, striding toward the rigged noose where Murphy spits curses.
Your lungs burn, the frenzied crowd pressing oppressively as Bellamy kicks the crate from under Murphy's feet. the crowd erupting into cheers of approval
The cheers and jeers clash violently with the roaring panic in your head. You glimpse Finn shoving through the human wall, only to disappear under grasping arms. “What the hell are you doing? Cut him down! Charlotte what are you doing?”
Then a small voice shrieks out, "Stop!" The crowd parts for Charlotte's quaking form. "Murphy didn't kill anyone," she gasps. "I stabbed Wells!"
Stunned silence drops like a smothering veil. Bellamy's smugness cracks, eyes darting wildly. Charlotte's confession rings in your pounding head as she repeats, "I killed him.
It took a moment for you to understand, but you knew what needed to be done.
With a swift movement, you reached for the axe at Bellamy's waist, your fingers closing around the handle with a steely determination. With one swing you cut the rope holding Murphy captive, freeing him from his bonds as Finn hurried to untie him.
"Get Charlotte away from here," Clarke hisses at your ear. Her fingers dig into your bicep, face set with determination to quell the riot brewing again in Bellamy's wake.
Clarke gives you a small shove and you run, the girl's clammy hand clenched in yours away from the mob. Away from her unthinkable confession.
As you usher Charlotte back into the tent, anger burns hot within your body, thoughts swirling with the realization of her responsibility for Wells' death.
Clarke, Bellamy, and Finn enter the tent, their voices blending into a cacophony of resolution. Clarke's urgent call of your name pulls you out of your trance.
"Y/n? Hey, are you okay?" Clarke's voice cuts through the haze of your anger, her concern evident in her eyes.
Bellamy's voice breaks through, scanning your conflicted faces. “If you guys have any bright ideas, speak up. Now you stay quiet.” He groaned. Your response is immediate, the words dripping with bitterness. "We should hand her over," you declare.
Clarke, Bellamy, and Finn are stunned by your nonchalance, before they can respond, "She's just a kid!" Clarke argues as Bellamy scoffs, "Try again." Only Finn nods reluctantly, avoiding your gaze.
Murphy's tirade slices through the tent walls. With a frustrated huff, Bellamy pushes outside the tent to quell murphy’s incessant whining, Clarke and Finn on his heels.
Alone with Charlotte, you crouch down, taking her thin shoulders. "You need to run," you urge quietly. "Find Clarke and Finn." Wide-eyed, she manages a small nod. With one last glance, she disappears into the forest.
You release a long breath, hoping you didn't just condemn or save her. ‘the girl may be young, but justice down here allows no exceptions.’
You thought to yourself, if anyone balks, you know Bellamy will back you. His dark eyes told you he reached the same conclusion long before tonight.
Bellamy approached the tent, you watched from your spot in the tent. Within a few steps inside, Murphy struck with a sudden, vicious blow, knocking Bellamy to the ground with a sickening thud.
Your breath caught in your throat as Murphy's rage turned toward Jasper, his fists flying in a brutal onslaught. With horror, you watched as Jasper crumpled under the force of the blows, his cries of pain echoing through the air.
Before Murphy could inflict any more damage, he stormed into the tent, only to find it empty.

i do what i have to do.
pairings. bellamy blake x fem!reader
part two of two.
about. in which you point your gun at someone you never thought you’d point it at.
Tumblr media
warnings. swearing
ricky rocks. look who finally finished a year old one shot/fic/whatever you call it 🤗🤗
bellamy coudn’t hurt you even if he wanted to. so, when mumbling the words, ‘move or i’ll kill you’, you could see right through his bluff by the way his eyes so willingly betrayed him, filled with... hurt.
in all truth, bellamy believed you would have shot him if it would have come down to that, and maybe that’s what pained him most. he wouldn't hurt a hair on your head, and you would have, but only for the best interest and safety of arkadia and your friends.
you never wanted to hurt bellamy, but recently you really, really wanted to slap him upside the head for all the stupid shit he had been doing. and maybe a gun scare would knock some sense into him, or maybe it would only put him deeper into the hole pike was digging for him.
bellamy yanked you to your feet quickly after the two of you had seemed to have recovered from all the commotion that had just taken place. you weren't sure whether or not he wanted to get you away from the increase in rowdy crowd or to have his way with you first.
you were beginning to think it was the last option as he marched down the hall with you in front of him, gripping your left arm while the other pressed against your back. one, two, three, four more steps before he shoved you into one of the guards rooms, his room.
“what the hell do you think you’re doing?” he let go of your arm with a slight shove causing you to stumble forward a bit. he looked angry, more than you had ever seen him and more than you would have ever wished to see.
“bellamy, don’t start with me,” you mumbled, raising a finger to harshly accuse him... for something. “if you’re going to kill me, just get it over with.”
he scoffed, looking beyond dumbfounded with his mouth slight agape, not believing the words that had just came from your mouth.
“stop fucking talking,” he needed to think. he begun to pace back and forth, and you had no idea what to do with yourself as you watched him. “i need to get you out of here.”
"what?"
he gives you a dumbfounded look that was filled with a sense of urgency, "y/n, you just shot someone that can have you dead within seconds. you don't leave, someone’s going to do exactly what you did, and take justice into their own hands."
"you should have let me finish the job."
"we're not starting this," he grips your shoulder before pushing you by your upper back. "people are leaving. o, kane, miller—you go with them. you stay, they'll kill you."
"how do you know this?" you mumbled, glancing back at the mention of your friends and the planned escape you all had developed. bellamy was considered a traitor to you all, so he would be the last person on your list to concern with the escape plan.
"eyes everywhere."
you narrow your brows at him, "you're coming with."
he narrows his brows in shock, not expecting you to say this, you share the same expression, also shocked by yourself. the past month would explain this--not only had you watched your world at arkadia fastly crumble after the slow rebuild of humanity, you also witnessed your relationship with bellamy slowly tank moment after moment while his with pike was created.
so, offering passage was an absurd idea. after all the betrayal.
he seems to wince after his surprisal settles but is quick to keep a straight face as best as he can, "you're getting the wrong idea."
"am i?"
"we're not friends anymore, y/n. this isn't old times," his words are intentionally stinging, but you don't miss the look on his face that betrays him. "you can't save me if that’s what you’re thinking. I don't need to be saved, i know what i’m doing."
you frown, "bellamy, you need to stop acting like there's never going to be a happy ending for you before it comes true. leave with us."
"you know i can't do that."
"why not?"
"I dug myself in too deep this time," his face was still stone cold, but it didn't prevent remorse from blossoming in your chest. "maybe if you weren't such a terrible shot, this would be all over."
***
in well under an hour bellamy had you out of arkadia, alone. your friends had left a lot sooner than thought and no matter how much begging you did—expectedly—bellamy left his mind unchanged.
you knew exactly where your friends were going—where they’d be. it was a long and lonely hike but it was enough time for reflection.
you miss the time where you felt like a kid still. where you were young and reckless and full of hope that you’d finally get to be free upon that first step off the drop ship. that you had purpose and will and fighting was something you hadn’t really minded aside from the possible side affect of death.
now you were tired. you just wanted to lay your head down for once and not think about the pointless rivalry purging your everyday life.
“y/n, you’re okay,” octavia pulls you into a tight hug, a certain relief setting over. “god, after we hadn’t seen you, we assumed the worst.”
“i’m okay,” you gave her a thin-lipped smile, “thanks to your brother.”
“bellamy?” she seems shocked, like that’s the first courteous thing he’s done for someone in years.
“yes,” you nod, understanding the hostile tone she almost takes with his name. “i think he might’ve saved me.”
“where is bellamy?” miller speaks causing you to realize they had all emerged from the cave.
"he's gone."
"dead?"
"no,” you shake your head, “he stayed behind. he said he had to fix some thing’s before he showed his face again.”
octavia mentally rolled her eyes, but kept her composure as she watched you, “you’re here. that’s all that matters.”
***
“is he dead?”
“indra has him.”
“bellamy-“
“y/n,” he gives you a pointed look at your protest. “you know that’s as good as dead.”
he was right. pike killed her people, that was far from unforgivable. he’d be lucky to receive death.
“she didn’t kill you.”
he shook his head, keeping his eyes low to the ground, “thanks to o.”
it took a day for bellamy to find you all. his face was beaten and bloodied, but you knew better than to ask what the cause was. he had a lot of enemies at the moment and it wasn’t like this was something out of the blue for him. you would've been surprised to see a clean face.
“she doesn’t hate you as much as you think.”
“i’d like to think she doesn’t hate me at all,” he presses his lips into a thin line. “you’re right though.”
you nod, trying to look sympathetic.
“about everything. i’m sorry.”
your mouth slightly opens in shock from not anticipating his words; apology and admitting.
“i’m sorry too,” you nod, swallowing harshly as you think about having that gun pointed inches from his face. “i would’ve never shot you.”
“you sure?” his voice is lighthearted, but you can tell he’s genuine when asking. “could’ve guessed otherwise.”
“guessing will only hurt you,” you tease, but quickly drop the blitheness. “i shouldn’t have done it, but i was scared… and angry.”
“i know,” he whispers, “we do what we have to do, right?”
“right.”
“then if that means shooting me to knock some sense into me, do it.”
a laugh gets stuck in the back of your throat at the preposterous thought of it. the funny thing was you knew he wasn’t joking. classic bellamy, putting himself in harm’s way.
“me a couple months ago would be more than happy to oblige,” you shake your head, making it his turn to laugh.
“us a couple months ago was a different story. i’m sure we already had guns to each other’s throats.”
you laugh with him, “yeah.”
“never again.”
nodding, “never again.”
you stare at one another now, quiet and calm. you don’t think you’ve ever had a moment like this with bellamy before.
you’re not sure what to do, but bellamy does.
your months of angsty butting heads leading to civilness, then ultimately leading to radio silence on both of your ends due to pike, had killed him. and now, here you were, back in his grasp of more than just civilness, he couldn’t let that go.
“i lied,” he mumbles, suddenly shifting from the rock he sat on. “instead of shooting me…” he’s leaning now, hovering, and just barely resisting the urge to complete his intentions. you feel his breath fan your face; feel, because your eyes are shut. “please, just kiss me.”
his nose is slotted against yours, still hovering as he watches you beneath his eye lashes. his lips are so close… so close to yours, it’s killing him that he waits.
“i’m sorry, but i have to do this,” he smiles before finally pressing his lips against yours.
