Freedom
Freedom is not about having a lot of money. Freedom is having what is irreplaceable and making the best of it- to get whatever you want like money, luxuries etc. Yes a lot of money can solve a lot of things But somethings are even more precious than money: – Your health – Your peace of mind – Your time – Your sense of wellbeing and contentment You can always have more money yet still not…

i'm rewatching the night and the fury because it's one of my favorite dagur-related episodes, and,
Tumblr media
the look on dagur's face when he declares hiccup his enemy and hiccup accepts it without hesitation, lowkey hurts me.
i mean
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
his expression changes from anger to surprise to upset.
it makes me think some part of dagur was hoping for hiccup to object to it, to say they were still brothers or something like that, and that it pained him to hear hiccup didn't actually care.
dagur made such a big deal out of them being brothers, and I think he expected hiccup to feel the same, which probably made the "betrayal" worse for him, fueling his anger and need for revenge. in his eyes, hiccup didn't even fight for their brotherhood, picking a dragon over him with no hesitation, and it enraged him.

Rewatching all HTTYD media and realising Hiccup is one of the best shots of the show like genuinely sticks funeral arrow hitting the target that far away, the fact he shot down toothless in pitch blackness while toothless was completely camouflaged there's some more I'm missing but damn get that kid in the Olympics right this second
Tumblr media
imagine how much shorter rtte would’ve been if they gave hiccup a gun

if your first response to learning a creative type has done something awful is "well i NEVER liked their work they gave me a BAD vibe so i'm not surprised because SOMETHING SEEMED OFF" i need you to stop typing, delete the comment, shut your mouth
when you jump up to go "well I'M morally pure and have a divine sense for evil so i would never fall prey to the works of the wicked" you're both implying only good people make good art, a lie that makes you decide people you like are above reproach and people you don't are evil. it's disney morals cut it out
you're also lowkey victim blaming. like oh this person has ~bad vibes~ that were so obvious so why didn't the people they harmed notice? what a fucked up thing to say! also a bunch of people are finding out someone influential to them is terrible, why do you need to fucking gloat about it? weird
(also on the other hand please take this as me formally absolving you from reading a detailed description of horrific abuse and upsetting yourself as some sort of penance for liking a book once, you can just go "bad person got it, won't talk up their work anymore". donate to a charity or volunteer somewhere if you're really feeling bothered)

9 WAYS TO TRAIN YOUR SUBCONSCIOUS MIND
“Whatever we plant in our subconscious mind and nourish with repetition and emotion will one day become reality.”
1. PRACTICING AFFIRMATIONS- when you make a clear, definitive statement about yourself as if it is already true, your subconscious mind will take over and act under that belief. in order to reprogram the subconscious mind you must provide it consistent messaging that aligns with the new program you want to install.
2. VISUALIZATIONS- visualization is a powerful tool to retrain your subconscious mind because it allows you to feel and experience a situation that hasn't happened yet - as if it were real.
3. MEDITATION- meditation is a particularly powerful brain retraining method because it transcends any form of conscious thought.
4. DO SOMETHING YOU'VE NEVER DONE BEFORE- when you do this, your mind has no choice but to make new connections in the brain. in the unknown is where we can create great change and miracles.
5. WIRING IN A NEW THOUGHT/HABIT WITH REPETITION- brain neurons that fire together, wire together. the more consistently you wire in a new behavior, action, thought, etc the more it becomes apart of your new autopilot mind. when you forget that you were supposed to do that new thing, don't beat yourself up about it, your brain is designed to take shortcuts and revert to what it knows best; we call these shortcuts mental heuristics. what you could do then instead, is stack the new behaviour above the old one to remind you of the new habit/behaviour you're trying to ingrain.
6. SLEEP- it's the most essential step in consolidating new memories and facilitating neural plasticity. getting good quality and deep sleep means you release growth hormone, and getting enough sleep (7.5-9 hours) means you release testosterone, both are key molecules for learning and memory.
7. as you drift off to sleep, feel the emotion of what you want to experience. the subconscious mind speaks in the language of feeling and as as you drift off to sleep you are going into the theta state which is where the subconscious mind operates.
8. surround yourself with images of things you want to influence you.
9. mimick archetypes or role models.
++ practice positive thinking.

Discover Your True Rank in the Hierarchy
This self-assessment will determine your rightful place within the hierarchy. Answer honestly—true clarity comes only from self-awareness.
For each statement, respond with:
✅ Yes = 3 points
🟡 Sometimes = 2 points
❌ No = 1 point
At the end, total your points to reveal your classification.
𝐒𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐈: 𝐎𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 & 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧
1. I instinctively follow commands without hesitation.
2. I find deep satisfaction in obedience and structure.
3. Serving and pleasing are my natural state of being.
4. I need authority to give me direction and purpose.
5. Being disciplined and corrected makes me feel secure.
𝐒𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐈𝐈: 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐞
6. I recognize that submission is not a choice but my true nature.
7. I do not need personal identity outside of my role.
8. My existence is validated through recognition of my place in the hierarchy.
9. I feel most complete when defined and categorized by another.
10. I do not question my classification—I embrace it fully.
𝐒𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐈𝐈𝐈: 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠
11. I accept that training and discipline are essential to my development.
12. I welcome refinement and correction to perfect my role.
13. The idea of being conditioned excites me.
14. I understand that I exist to be shaped by a superior force.
15. I strive to internalize obedience to the point that it becomes instinct.
𝐒𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐈𝐕: 𝐇𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐲 & 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐤
16. I understand that submission exists in different degrees.
17. I accept that my classification is not about preference but about what I am.
18. I respect and honor those ranked above me.
19. I strive to embody the standards of my designated place in the hierarchy.
20. I am ready to prove my classification whenever required.
𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐬: 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐞 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐲
⚪ 0 - 19 Points → Unclassified / Not Yet Defined
You have not yet fully embraced your nature. You may still be resisting or failing to understand where you truly belong. Further training and self-reflection are required before you can be placed within the hierarchy.
🟢 20 - 29 Points → Good Boy
A devoted and eager servant, obedient and well-behaved, but still developing. You crave guidance and thrive under structure.
🔵 30 - 39 Points → Son Good Boy
You have progressed beyond basic obedience, embracing discipline as a core part of your existence. You are becoming a reflection of what is expected of you.
🟣 40 - 49 Points → Son Good Boy Faggot
Your submission is not only deep-rooted but instinctive. You understand that your existence is defined entirely by the hierarchy, and you embrace it fully.
🟡 50 - 54 Points → Good Boy Faggot
You are not just obedient—you have accepted that your identity is fundamentally subservient. You crave being shaped, used, and molded as a possession.
🔴 55 - 60 Points → Faggot
You have reached the highest form of submission. You no longer see yourself as an individual but as an instrument to be used at will. You exist solely for service and validation through obedience.
𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽𝘀:
📌 Reblog with your classification and reflect on whether it aligns with how you see yourself.
📌 If your score is below 40, consider how you can deepen your commitment to your role.
📌 If you scored 50 or higher, you are already on the correct path—embrace it.
💬 Which rank did you achieve? Do you accept it?

What do you think makes your friends so magnetic?
It’s because they’re genuinely interesting, funny, well-rounded women. They’re not just people who you want to get to know better; they’re people you look up to and want to be. They’re put together, qualified, educated, and great to be around. They all have goals, they’re all motivated, and they’ve all had experiences that they’ve allowed to shape them for better or worse. They’re all confident in who they are, and they all have passion projects and interests that they’ve spent hours pouring themselves into.
Twilly has her travel blog, her zine, her poetry, her cooking, and her fascination with other cultures and ways of life. She’s rarely afraid of taking action or doing something new, and I’m proud to call her my bravest friend. She leaps at the chance to do new things, goes to parts unknown, and vibrancy and creativity are her life’s goals. She’s an amazing person to get to know.
Camilla speaks seven languages (not including English), has walked at Copenhagen Fashion Week, and is amazing with people. She’s always talking about interning for Condé Nast, how she’d style people, what she’s experienced, and how she’s honed her eye for aesthetics and design. I honestly believe that Camilla has the potential to become one of the best fashion editors and artistic directors of our generation.
Those are just two examples, but having a clear image of the sort of woman you’d like to be one day and doing what it takes to build your confidence and your personality, finding what makes life feel better for you (having passions and hobbies), and learning how to convey your emotions and converse with people are some of the steps you need to take. People are drawn to people who they are genuinely interested in; that’s always been the case and always will be. Part of making yourself interesting is being someone people want to hear more from, being able to speak about yourself without coming off as pompous, actively trying to engage with the world around you, and building quality relationships with more people.

also I got a lot of thoughts on how eliot having that fight with his dad and then immediately shipping to basic training meant he ended up isolated in a way that made him highly motivated, highly trainable, and also extremely easy to fuck in the head in useful ways. which worked out great for the US military and later on, for moreau.
