Bakudeku Headcannons

Izuku midoriya

Definitely bisexual with a preference for girls so much so that it took him a while for him to realize he’s bi

His crush on Bakugou started when he was very young although it was heavily repressed in middle school (I believe bakugou got meaner in middle school so his admiration go mixed in with those negative emotions)

The rest of class 1-A kinda had a vibe from them from early in due to mr. “kacchan is truly amazing!!❤️”

He realized his true feeling for kacchan during their first year (at some point between kacchan’s apology and heading to war) but with so much going on he continued repressing it

After the war they were inseparable (not yet dating basically an insufferable slow burn for the rest of 1-A lol)

They finally started dating right before graduation

Continued dating in secret until deku got his hero suit in the final chapter with the mech suit when they then depute as a hero team

Katsuki bakugo

Demiromantic gay

That’s a gay man try to imagine him with a women you can’t

Had never had a crush except on deku from when they were kids (very much a gay kid that didn’t know how to process his emotion and so he acts out)

Part of his aggression against deku is definitely cutness aggression lol

Also came to terms with his feeling during his first year but decided to not say anything because he felt he didn’t deserve izuku

The hospital scene was definitely an attempted confession wym

He tried to confess several times but is so vague izuku never gets it lol ⬆️

Finally just pulls him to the side at graduation and tells him he likes him (first kiss too 👀)

Do… I’m….” Izuku’s face automatically flushes bright red, and be can’t stop the stammer from leaking out, to Kaminari’s amusement. He turns to Katsuki, eyes wide.

🦅 - i kind of both outline AND fly by the seat of my pants. my outlines are REALLY bare bones but i do write down a general 'storyline' prior to starting a new longfic. now how to make it all WORK..... thats all just bullshitting lmao. like my outline could be 'here they defeat the villain in a cool way.' Nice. How the FUCK am i gonna do that smh. people who come up with whole actual outlines prior to writing are my heroes.

🧠(tenko!) - lol the now-cannon headcannon that he got his Quirk from All-for-One? 👀 well... i think he might have actually become a hero, if what happened to him didn't happen to him (i mean...other than the fact that he was likely quirkless.) while i love loser-boy greasy gamer head-canons, Tenko is charismatic, an excellent leader, and highly motivated. he just needed the opportunity. if a hero had found him that day... if somebody helped him... just think of the way tenko was. he was a sweet, caring kid, who played with boys that no one else wanted to play with, that was emotional and sensitive, that was called all might because he was so nice and heroic. all might is a symbol of his lost opportunity to be a hero. all might is the representation of the life he never had. but what if all might had found him? reached out to him? rage in itself is not an 'evil' quality. tenko can be angry AND righteous. even now we see that, in the end, he wanted to be a hero, even if it was for the 'villains.' he's so good. he's SO GOOD. HOW DARE HYOU MAKE ME ANSWER THIS RIGHT NOW AHHJhdjfaldjfljsadklfasldkfj (i'm crying. tenko. tenko please.)

🎉 - oooof. this is a hard one. i'd actually really like to hear your thoughts about what you'd consider success for a fic, because your stuff is a LOT more popular than mine. my opinion on this has changed in the last few years. obviously your goal-posts change depending on how 'popular' something of yours previously was. especially after switching from comedy to angst writing, as well as switching to an extremely large fandom (bkdk) to a medium fandom (sskk.) just like a lot of other people i had fallen into the ratio of kudos:views, the comments per chapter and 'subscription' tunnels. as well as comparing myself to other fics in the fandom. its very embarrassing and self-involved but i think we're all victims to this. right now, what i consider success (for long fics) is that: people want to keep reading it. that the same people show up in the comments. it makes me feel like the story is worth following. but the ultimate marker of success (to me) is someone saying they were inspired by the writing. in whatever way. to write their own stuff. to draw. to play music. to think about their own life/situation. to try something new. (someone commented the other day that battle of the bands inspired them to get nipple piercings?! not really what i was going for but YEAHHHHHHHHH.) ANYTHING. because that's what its all about, right? connecting with one another and inspiring one another through art, whatever that art may be. even if its anime-boy porn. whatever.

✅ - something that appears in my fics over and over again, even if i don't mean it to? hmmm... i reuse a lot of metaphors. stomach/heart jumping/twisting like its in the olympics is the one that comes to mind. i use a lot of richard siken poetry unfortunately lmao both in its raw form and the vibes from it. i often re-read parts of 'Crush' when i want to write a really emotional scene. the other things people told me i do a lot is write REALLY descriptive, graphic sex (not like... rough or anything. i'm just very descriptive. i think its probably because of my medical background/anatomy knowledge but. yeah.) and that i love doing cliffhangers. lol. lmao even.

Micheal Reeves!Izuku returns with a chaotic vengence

- Izuku just straight up adopts a raccoon

       - Name is still up for debate so I'm taking suggestions

       - I just had the image of just a pair of eyes peeking out of the darkness before a raccoon launches out or a raccoon either in his hair or hanging off his arm knawing on a piece of metal, so that exists now

- Izuku breaks into police stations just to pretend that he was caught for something only to talk to police or to be a minor inconvenience for the sake of removing his other actual crimes

      - He also knows how to break out of handcuffs but prefers to knaw through the metal as it's far more entertaining to see people slowly lose their collective shit as it works

- Both Mei and Izuku both radiate chaotic energy but Izuku is tolerated by Power loader, the key reason for this being is that Izuku works mainly with non-explosive possibly flammable tech for the purpose of ai and tasers while mei works for the sake of insane ideas and explosions

- Note for Mei sourced from the lovely debesys, mei already has enough parents, she has like. 5. they are polyam, that is how many are needed to regulate the sheer chaos her being emits

      - (This resulted in the following idea for Izuku's family dynamic)

- Inko is polyam and has three partners, Power Loader nor anyone else in cannon is a part of this relationship but are still Izuku's parents as I shall explain

      - Aizawa questioning who Izuku's parents are:

         Inko, sipping tea gently not mentioning the adopted parents or her relationship: wouldn't you like to know weather boy

      - Inko, causally in the living room: Where are you going?

         Izuku: I'm going to see my dad?

         Inko: which one?

         Izuku, frantically flipping through various family photos: Tech dad?

         Inko: ah power loader got it

     - someone: hey midoriya, how many parents do you have?

        Izuku, getting another person to adopt him: not enough :)

     - Izuku just has the energy of like that one dad with the wallet of family photos that just unfurl to the floor

     - Aizawa, after finding Izuku doing tazer bullshit while he was out on patrol: Who are your parents

        Izuku, sliding over adoption papers: better question is who isn't

     - 'oops, i dropped my family on the floor' whole deck of cards amount of photos go everywhere

    - Izuku showing the friends his room before passing by his family photos: :D

       someone, realising of them are heros or out of costume vigilantes/villains: Wow you have a lot of fan photos!

                    - Kirishima, giving a concerned look as Izuku sets up one of his many devices: So uh why are we doing this?

                   - Izuku's currently working on trying to make a megaphone for his quirk to work through

                   - Izuku frantically gesturing at tech he's built: but static buzz buzz

                      Shinsou: but quirk no work

                      Izuku: can I at least add a taser

     - Izuku adopts Shouto eventually but that happens late

- Momo and Kendo fear Izuku and anything he creates for good reason

      - Momo actively tries to hide what her quirk is from Izuku when she realises he's who all the rumours are about (Izuku already knows, he's just biding his time until she feels a false sense of security)

- Tsuyu is safe only for the fact that he can't find anything interesting that he can work with

- Recovery girl has a separate section of the medbay just for those affected by a Midoriya related incident

And so my Micheal Reeves!Izuku au returns for family, friend groups and fucking chaos. The decision to have Izuku just amass a family along with Poly!Inko was a choice between my poly friend and I we just wanted Inko to enjoy herself with a happy funky relationship

So a friend of mine thought of this huge headcannon but she doesn't have tumblr so she let me post it here.

It goes like this. (This is directly copied from when she texted me, btw.)

You know how I've been obsessed with the idea of All for One being Izuku's dad.

What if that was a thing and during his fight with All Might in Kamino, as Izuku and the rest flew away with Bakugo, he said it out loud so that both the hero and the villains heard?

That would be a second, stronger wave of shock for All Might that night, with the first one being the relation of Shigaraki Tomura with his teacher and previous OFA user, Nana Shimura.

Shigaraki would also be shocked, as would be the rest of the league (except for Dabi and kurogiri, who got knocked out lmaoo).

Before he could ask any questions, AFO would activate kurogiri's quirk, in order to send them away and then lose his fight as he wanted to.

The fight finished as it was supposed to and everything should roll normally from here, with the difference that Izuku is the most feared villain's son and now both All Might and the league knows.

Slowly but surely, the word goes out to more and more criminals, gangsters, villains.

Let's say that there's a bigger time gap between Izuku getting his licence and then him doing his internship with Nighteye. All Might hasn't build up the courage to tell him anything, it was already hard for him to process it. His successor just happened to be the son of their nemesis. He was sure that Midoriya wouldn't know, from his visit at his house it seemed like both mother and son hadn't seen Hisashi Midoriya in a long time.

LOV felt like they had to make him somehow join them. Because that kid could technically have who knows what kind of powers, locked and hidden away from him. Hell the quirk that he has now is too powerful but is instead wasted away inside UA's walls.

Shigaraki is of course frustrated, because his master just dropped a bomb of a reveal and then dipped in Tartarus, without answering any of his questions. He was convinced that he would have to kill at some point that damn kid, but now he was hesitating. There must have been a reason for his master to reveal that right?

He had never thought of even trying to approach Midoriya as a potential member, just like he did with Bakugo, who ended up not being what he thought he would be. Now it seemed like the had more chances on convincing the first one.

So one day, as Midoriya walked back to the school from what he thought was a quick trip to the supermarket, Mr. Compress and Kurogiri decided to surprise him with a visit.

(Midoriya has no idea, up until this point, that the whole of the villain community has basically become a mess, trying to theorize his existence like-

And of course All Might is super conflicted because out of all the kids out there, All for One's son had to be the best successor he could find.)

Tying him up in their temporally base - that old warehouse- as much as they tried to talk to him about their point of view, he surprisingly seemed to be more stubborn that the previous kid they fetched of UA.

He just refused to listen to anything they had to say. He preferred to remain silent and look at the scratched wall instead of them.

He only spoke once during that night and that was when Shigaraki had a small outburst of annoyance, because he clearly didn't have his way and no progress was made with his plan. He kind of threatened Izuku in a manner of "Do you want to stay tied like that all night?!", to which he responded with a sigh and a glare; "Up until know you tried to kill me on multiple occasions, why should I even listen to you? I don't trust nor even know you, so no, I ain't joining."

All in all, first impressions were going great.

Izuku went back to silently counting the pebbles on the floor, while the villains regrouped on the other side of the warehouse.

They ended up agreeing on trying a different approach. If they were to even try and tell him who he really was, he wouldn't believe them at all. They had to somehow gain a bit of his trust, they ended up talking about themselves to him, kinda like an introduction, some didn't reveal everything *coughDabicough*.

After they finished, Midoriya just looked at them for a bit, thoughts rushing through his head at lightning speed. He decided to continue that "casual" talk, giving them his point of view and why he wanted to become a hero.

That's where Shigaraki went "well about that", telling him the truth about his father and what was revealed during the Kamino fight.

Of course Izuku's first reaction was disbelief, but of course Shiggy knew that would happen. He told him about how All Might knew but didn't tell him anything. Midoriya went silent again, because he had noticed that something was bothering him and he avoided to answer every time he asked him about it.

He had lowered his head and the league decided to leave it at that for today . So the left him alone in his thoughts and boy where there a lot of em. His mind couldn't help but connect the missing dots using this new information. So he knew it was true but he didn't want to accept it. Because that's why the villains tried being all friendly with him. They thought of him as one of them deep down and he hated that. He wanted to get out of there, to talk to his mom or to just get his mind off these things by hanging out with his classmates in their dorms. But no, he was stuck with the league of villains. At least his class would surely have noticed him missing by now. They were probably looking for him, but little did he know along with them, the whole villains community was looking for him.

He was basically the heir of a legacy he didn't know he was apart of 5 minutes ago. (1/?)

Like, you write it so that we connect with him so much, and from an exchange student in 1-A, to an pro hero. I’m sOft. (Quick question I’ve been thinking about; how did the other students and teachers (mainly All Might and Deku) react to us suddenly leaving?)

-So I would imagine you and Deku were good friends even with the language barrier, he probably was fangirling over you when you first came and that sparked a whole friendship. You kinda became close over the year or so that you were there, and you told him that you were finishing out at UA so like when you had suddenly disappeared he was soo worried.

-”A-all-Might...Is Y/N alright??? She’s been out for 2 weeks now and she hasn’t responded to any of my texts. We were supposed to hang out last friday…”

-AWWW LIKEE IT BROKE ALL MIGHT’S HEART SEEING DEKU SO STRESSED.

-”Y/N’s parents wanted her back in America due to some...issues. By the looks of it, she's not coming back any time soon..”

-It really affected Deku actually, His new best friend just left?? With no warning?? And he can’t even get in contact with her?? That would hit anyone hard.

-He was kind of in this weird dumps for a few weeks, he always wondered about you and what you were doing. Were you ever at a new Hero school in america or some other part of the world? Did you even want to be a hero anymore? Did you ever wonder about him as well?

-He missed you so much even when he got older. He always looks back on old photos and cherishes the times you had together.

ALL-MIGHT

-Even though he always joked with you and present about “being the best” and play fighting, He really did enjoy you. You were always a good student, patient and attentive. He absolutely loved how supportive and protective you were of Deku. Like defending him against Bakugou and building up his confidence you were a valuable person. So to see you have to go over what happened pained him.

-He watched how Present beat himself up over the whole situation and never really forgave himself, it tore him apart. He’s the world's greatest hero and he couldn’t help his friend or you.

-Yagi didn’t judge the situation harshly, if the tables had turned and it had been Him and Deku...Without a single doubt he would have done the same thing regardless of the consequences.

-he always thought about you a lot as well. He really missed the little Deku v.s. You rivalries, and how you were always laughing at his bad dad-jokes in class lol.

-He belived you were destined to be a great hero, so for you to have a huge setback like that...he felt for you.

-He almost cries when he saw how sad deku was over it though, he never realised how much he liked you. Damn.

-He always prays for your wellness and health though.

AIZAWA

-Just like All-Might, He really misses your presence in his class like why does the quietest and smartest student have to leave?? Take Mineta instead lolol.

-But he’s not crying over it or really in the dumps to be honest he’s like “Oh well.”

-But that’s only because he knew what the situation was and it wasn’t a big surprise plus it’s kind of his personality???

-I think what bothers him is how depressed Present got. His close friend was depressed over standing up for what was right. He hated it.

-There was a lot of nights where he had to comfort mic and let him know “Hey you did nothing wrong”

-“If it were me, I wouldn’t of been as nice as you to her damn parents that’s for sure. But don’t feel so bad, it’s not your fault. They were assholes anyways.”

-He does wish you were back in Japan though, you seemed to connect with present more than he ever did, he really missed how happy present was to have someone like that in his life.

UA STUDENTS

-I feel like UA is super secretive about stuff and information so no student would really exactly know what happened or why you had to suddenly leave.

-they were just like “Y/N L/N will officially no longer be your classmate she has transferred back to America.”

-And that was it

-If you were more introverted and didn’t have many friends or anything, then I feel like it wouldn’t be as big of a deal.

-Some people would question and spread little reasons they think you left, but the class isn’t like “WhAaAt?!SKSKSHSJJD I CAN'T-AHH WHY SHE LEAVE?!”

-It’s more like “Hmm I wonder what happened with Y/N? Oh well hope she’s okay.”

-If your more extroverted with more friends or just much more known, I think there would just be more rumors going around

-“I heard she dropped out because it was too hard.”

-“AllMight rejected her confession and she got all sad, deleted all her social media and moved back.”

-“Her VISA was rejected so the Feds came to get her. Dragged her out of school and everything.”

-But their school and life is so high paced that there isn’t time for them to sit and worry much with all the exams and stuff. You’re pushed to the back of their minds and it’s like “Y/N who?”

5+ headcannons on an au where to get into ua you have to pass a parent interview ( like in spy family) but since Izuku dad is practically non existent, All Might volunteers to be Izukus take father for the interview despite the fact that he will also be working in ua as a teacher and at the very least some teachers will see skinny might around the school.

Toshinori was banking on the interviewee being someone who didn't know him. Instead it's Nezu, who takes one look and says, "Hello Mr. Midoriya, how nice to see you. I'm this will be a most interesting interview. Toshinori is terrified.

Nezu makes the interview as difficult and stressful as possible for poor Toshi, trolling him over his real identity, asking his opinion of All Might becoming a teacher, things like that.

Snipe sees Toshi leaving with the others and mentions it to the other teachers, and soon everyone is under the impression that Izuku is All Might's secret love child.

All Might is forced by Nezu to undergo safeguards when teaching 1-A so he won't show favoritism to his "son". AM is still mortified by the accusation.

Gran is furious when he hears rumors of AM having a son and not telling him! So is Nighteye, but Toshi isn't paying attention to him at the moment.

After the Sports Festival, Shoto overhears the teachers mention Izuku being AM's secret lovechild. His first words when rescuing Izuku from Stain are, "You lied to me."

Hisashi is baffled at how his son got into UA. He wasn't there for the interview! Then Izuku sends him a "family photo" with AM as his new dad as payback for practically ditching them.

Some rules:

I may or may not write smut? I'm not sure since I haven't really done it, but I will NOT write smut for characters under the age of 21

I won't write anything that has to do with the reader being super OP or being half of like, literally everything

When it comes to Y/N being an anthropomorphic animal/human or half of that, if stuff like that is canon in the fandom, then I'll write it (like a half human half monster for Undertale, or a Cat person for TMNT) but if stuff like that just doesn't exist in that world, then I most likely won't write it

I won't write a character being a racist, rapist, homophobic, transphobic or anything like that, those things are fucked up and aren't ok and that character I may write, might be someone else's comfort character and I don't want to ruin a character for someone

I won't write a character as being an abuser, sure, I could say they where abused some way in the past if it is relevant to the fic, but I will not write a character being an abuser themselves, that's just not right

I won't write yandere characters, it just feels to toxic to me to have someone be THAT possessive of someone

If a character is canonically underage, I will not age them up, if a reader or character is being romantically shipped with the underage character, the reader/character must and will be underage as well

I can do shipping fanfics! Although, it depends on the characters, but I may be able to write it, even if I don't entirely agree with the ship! AS LONG as it is not anything like AbuserXvictim or MinorXadult or anything like that.
