Is there any pressure?
No pressure at all. Fill one prompt. Fill all the prompts at once. Do however many you please.
Can I fill more than one prompt with one piece of art/one fic?
Yes! You can fill one prompt with one piece of art or fic. You can try to fill all of the prompts during the event at once with one piece of art or fic. You can do any number in between.
Are there any prizes for making anything for this event?
Just the satisfaction that you made something cool.
Is it just SamBucky?
Yes please, just SamBucky. There can be side ships, but the main ship should be SamBucky.
How long will this event run?
It will run from March 17th and run until April 27th.
I heard there are badges I can use for each fill?
Not this year, unfortunately. But there will be cool banners for each day!
RULES AND GUIDELINES
What are the guidelines for the event?
I will be borrowing some of this from the MYSU Valentine’s Day Bingo 2022 Guidelines, since they were fantastic.
For Everyone:
1. Remember to @sambuckylibrary in the post as well as #tfatwsanniversary2025.
2. Please also tag the prompt you’re filling (for instance, if the square is “Redwing”, use “#redwing” as one of your tags when posting about it on Tumblr).
3. If you’re uploading to AO3, please:
a ) Say somewhere which prompt you’re filling.
b ) Add it to TFATWS Anniversary Event 2025 (TFATWS_Anniversary_Event_2025).
For Artists:
1. Create at least one piece of new art that can’t have been posted anywhere else before this.
2. All visual art forms are welcome:
a ) Gifsets, at least 2 gifs.
b ) Aesthetic boards or moodboards, at least 4 images each.
c ) Drawing/painting, that is not a sketch.
d) Fan video.
e) Graphics edit.
For Authors:
1. At least 500 words.
2. Posted on Tumblr or AO3.
3. Can be part of a series, but should work as a standalone.
For Podficcers:
1. The podfic should at least be 5 minutes long.
2. It should be posted on either Tumblr or AO3.
3. The podfic can be of a fic made for the event, a fic not made for the event while still adhering to the prompt, or a notfic.
For Fic Rec Lists:
1. You must have at least three fics or podfics on the rec list.
2. Make sure to give brief descriptions of the fics or podfics as well as their rating and wordcount.
For Commenters:
1. Any amount of comment counts, from a heart emoji (“❤️”) to an essay.
2. We would rather this be about what makes you happy and joyful about reading than any scathing critiques.
Things to be mindful of when creating:
For Sam
Avoid framing Sam only as a caretaker or emotional support for Bucky. Be mindful of Sam acting angry or aggressive in an out-of-character way and falling into the angry/sassy Black man trope (check out the MCU source material to help with character traits).
Avoid decentering Sam as a main character and refrain from focusing entirely on Bucky.
In art: avoid whitewashing Sam’s skin and research drawing Black characters.
General disclaimer: Race affects every aspect of his life, including interacting with police/government and the white structures of the world when it comes to performing his duties as Cap and simply being a Black man that lives in the U.S.
For Bucky
Avoid phrasing “flesh/normal/human hand” to refer to the contrast between his prosthetic arm and his right arm. The phrasing is ableist. You can simply refer to his prosthesis when relevant, otherwise use “right/left arm/hand”.
For more information, please check out this document suggested by @ninesdb on how to write Bucky as an amputee. @ninesdb is also open to questions if you have any queries not answered by the google doc.
Specific Tags:
Avoid tags in AO3 like “Sam Wilson is a Gift”, “Sam Wilson is a Saint”, and “Bucky Needs a Hug”.
Have fun and we look forward to your TFATWS inspired pieces!

Pillowfort vs Wafrn Comparison
hello to fellow tumblypoos who may be on the lookout for places to migrate in case tumblr does implode one day but don't know what the alternatives are like. i made accounts on 2 frequently mentioned tumblr clones, pillowfort and wafrn, and tested them as of April 2025. i hope this can be helpful!
SIGNING UP
Pillowfort: sign up free and be put on a waitlist, or pay $5 for instant access. The waitlist time was very short for me. Once you have your account, you get 50 invite links per week that you can send to others for instant signup access.
Wafrn: mods review every signup, but i still got access within a couple hours.
VIBES
Just my own personal observations from a very short period of use
Pillowfort: has a more "cozy and quiet" fandom and media-sharing vibe. it emphasizes using communities when you sign up (but you don't have to join any if you don't want to). most communities that currently exist are either super huge general ones (ex: "Anime") or tiny ones people made for their own friend group but i see potential for fandom-specific spaces to grow.
Wafrn: more unabashedly queer and chaotic (positive) like if you were in a discord server but on tumblr. it's more techy and text post/chatting focused but still has huge media-sharing capabilities. you can host your own server if you know how to. it's recommended you connect your acct to bsky if you want more fandom stuff (or consider a fandom-oriented server elsewhere, tho from what i can tell those don't have a lot of users yet)
MEDIA
Both do not allow multi-select, meaning that you have to upload files one at a time. both allow putting a shitload of images in one post (i didn't even have the patience to upload enough pics to find the limits). but i recommend against mass uploading media. those are individual ppl hosting those servers. consider paying them if you plan to upload a lot.
Pillowfort: only images/gifs, videos must be hosted externally. files must each be less than 2MB. adding additional images is a little janky and sometimes the buttons pop in/out.
Wafrn: video and images/gifs. not sure what the exact file size limit is, but i was able to upload a video that was 145MB so its decently big. media is horizontally scrolled rather than vertically stacked. also note: alt text is required by default, and the "post" button will disappear if any media is missing it.
POSTS
Pillowfort: allows turning off reblogs and comments. you can edit this at any time. seemingly no feature/option to truncate long posts you see on your dash? but i haven't come across any super long posts so maybe it's there. but there is a "read more" feature.
Wafrn: you can turn off notifications for a post, but there is no option to turn off reblogs/comments which i personally find to be a big downside. posts longer than a few sentences automatically get truncated.
LIKES, REBLOGS, COMMENTS, TAGS
Both platforms have likes, comments, reblog systems, and tagging.
Both platforms don't have a page to find all of your Likes. Likes are persistent, and you'll see the colored heart icon if something you liked before crosses your dash, but there is no dedicated Likes page from what i could find.
Reblogging works different on Wafrn, where you have 3 options: rewoot (=quick reblog with no tags), reply (=standard reblog where you have the OPTION to add your own reply and/or tags), and quote (seems to be similar to doing a quote tweet, can also add tags).
If you connect Wafrn to bsky, you can see more posts from there within the site but certain types of interactions don't work.
On Pillowfort, tagging works basically the same as it does on tumblr (can search tags site-wide or on your particular blog). on Wafrn you can currently only do site-wide tag searching, so you're not able to organize your blog if you're into that.
NSFW
Both sites allow NSFW content.
Pillowfort: new post > select checkbox to mark as NSFW (so users with "Show NSFW posts by default" turned off will see the post blurred)
Wafrn: new post > upload media, and then you can mark individual media as NSFW to blur it. Also a content warning checkbox you can select to add in cw tags (must write the tags yourself which leaves room for user inconsistency. there is no preset cw list yet)
DRAFTS, QUEUE
Pillowfort: has a draft, queue, and scheduling system. your queue schedule is editable from settings or the queue page. the queue and draft pages are underneath "Posts", but only show up when there are things in them.
Wafrn: no draft or queue system.
POST VISIBILITY
Pillowfort: in every new post, you can select if the post is public, only for logged in users, only mutuals, or private (only you). you can edit this at any time.
Wafrn: in every new post, you can select if the post is public, only for your followers, only for your server instance, or private (only you). this is not editable once a post is made
BLOG VISIBILITY
Pillowfort: in settings, you can turn on concealed mode which prevents people you're not following from following you or even viewing your blog.
Wafrn: there doesn't seem to be a way to hide your blog profile from certain users/logged out users, but you can change your default post visibility.
ASKS
Pillowfort: Does not have an Ask system, only DMs. Creating an ask system is on their to-do list.
Wafrn: has an Ask system that accepts messages from Wafrn users, logged out anons, or even other fediverse sites (there's a explanation how to do this if you go to someone's profile and try sending a message). you must go to settings to enable anon asks.
FOLLOWING
Pillowfort: by default, anyone can follow anyone. in settings, you can turn on concealed mode which prevents people you're not following from following you or even viewing your blog.
Wafrn: by default, anyone can follow anyone. in settings, you can turn on the ability to review all follow requests.
CUSTOMIZATION
Pillowfort: Dark and light mode for the whole site. blog editing is pretty basic, just changing colors of some page elements (with a little jank). in settings, you can upload multiple icons which you can swap between when making new posts. there are a bunch of pfp frames and badges.
Wafrn: Dark and light mode, plus many other preset themes. blog page editing allows for header images and custom css. you can have emojis (including animated ones) in your name.
MISC
Mobile: both have a mobile app, but Wafrn's is still a bit more experimental. both contain many bugs but when has that not been the case for tungle dot com either
Paid features: Both are free*. Wafrn has no paid features but dev has a patreon/kofi you can support to pay for servers costs. Pillowfort has options for paid icons or frames, higher file size limits (2MB->4MB), or doing a recurring monthly donation to pay server costs and seems to really need the help.
Sideblog support: neither has this yet but both seem to be exploring options for it. you cannot make more than 1 account with the same email.
Blacklist/blocking: both support blacklisting words/phrases and blocking users. Wafrn also supports muting (soft blocking), Pillowfort does not but it's on their to-do list.
Languages: both are only in english
Bugs and future updates: If you want to read more about what features each platform is working on you can check Pillowfort's staff post and Wafrn's github
--------
conclusion: no matter where you choose to migrate to, nothing will be exactly the same as tumblr and will certainly never reach its scale/longevity without consistent user support.
if we want the next gen of the internet to be free of advertising and selling user data, then we will all need to chip in for it. either you pay for your own server to host yourself/others, or you support the people/orgs hosting servers for the rest of us to make sure that the things you love can remain online. i HIGHLY recommend that if you move to any of these places, you consider doing recurring donations. this goes for not just pillowfort and wafrn, but mastodon, neocities, or any other fedi or independently hosted spaces.
fedi sites have a lot of potential, because you can theoretically CREATE a massive social network via connecting lots of little ones together. but interconnecting independent sites is still something that's very buggy and needs working out, and from what i can tell, just because sites are part of the fediverse does not make them instantly compatible/crosspost-able (ppl more experienced can correct me on this)

My Thoughts on Inzoi
I figured since my post about the whole Inzoi terms of service debacle blew up in a way that I never would have predicted, I should probably give a more nuanced explanation of my stance on the game and the discourse around it in general.
First off, I will just say right off the bat that I am not a fan of Inzoi, and unless some very big changes are made to the game, I am not interested in playing it.
I also want to make clear that my dislike of Inzoi is NOT motivated by any sort of love or loyalty to EA or The Sims. If there's one good thing to come out of Inzoi its breaking the monopoly that EA has over the life sim genera and giving The Sims competition. I also want to say that I despise EA for what it has done to the Sims franchise, and while I have played an absurd amount of hours in The Sims 4, I think it is objectively a bad product.
My biggest problem with Inzoi, first and foremost, is it's the use of AI. Inzoi allows players to use generative AI to make custom textures, designs, and paintings within the game. You may not agree with me on this but I am fully of the opinion that real artists should have been hired and paid to create all of the textures/paintings/designs for this game. Allowing players to upload their own photos and videos is one thing, but Krafton, a multi billion dollar company, chose to not support real, professional artists so they could save what is essentially pennies to them. All this results in, frankly, ugly and uncanny looking generated designs plastered all over the furniture and decor. For this reason alone I do not support Inzoi, but there's so much more to it than that.
There's also the fact that we have no idea how their AI is trained. Krafton apparently has an "AI Ethics Committee," but we have no clue what their actual code of ethics are. While it's bad faith to assume, they could be using stolen artwork for their AI. It is also very likely that whatever images you upload into the game, as well as any use of their facial scanning feature, could also be used as material to train their AI. This could lead to all sorts of ethical and legal issues I don't even know where to begin.
Secondly, I have to say, looking at the early access footage from youtubers and everything else I've heard about the game, it feels like its only going to repeat most of TS4's mistakes. In youtuber NotMalcolm's most recent video he discusses Inzoi's overly sanitized approach to various aspects of life, most notably that you can't try for a baby unless you are already married (source). Just like TS4, Inzoi is appealing to a younger demographic and sanding down the rougher aspects of life in order to cater to them. I fear that Krafton is likely taking it a step further and not only watering down the game for the sake of potential child players, but also using them as an excuse to enforcing extremely traditional values on its players. I have no interest in playing a life sim that only allows me to play out a single, socially acceptable way of living.
It also, like TS4, feels like a Young Adult Wish Fulfillment Sim™. The gameplay looks shallow, and it feels like it exists more to make aesthetic screenshots than it does to be an actual game.
I think when people say that Inzoi is missing the "quirky weirdness" of the Sims, what they actually mean is that Inzoi is devoid of personality. One thing that stuck out to me immediately is that the animations are so stiff, robotic, and lifeless. Again, everything is made to be ~*Aesthetic*~ with no regard to an actual sense of identity or personality.
I know people will say that its only in early access, but given how close public early access is to release, I highly doubt any significant changes are going to be made to improve what will be given to us when the time comes.
On a similar note, there's the fact that Krafton has never made a game before now that hasn't been riddled with micro transactions. I personally predict that Inzoi's monetization strategy will be just as, if not more predatory than TS4's is. The fact that we are drawing so close to public early access and have not heard a single word on their method of monetization speaks volumes. I simply do not trust it.
Now, of course, I need to elaborate on the whole Terms of Service Situation. I understand fully that Krafton's terms of service is industry standard and not too dissimilar to EAs, however, this post highlights that whats really concerning about Krafton's ToS is how difficult and confusing it is for players to access and review it. I find it understandable that Krafton's proud use of AI makes people a lot more nervous as to what their data could potentially be used for, and are going to be a lot more weary of Inzoi's ToS. Though I understand that it is only speculation, many have made the assumption that Krafton may use user's personal data to train AI.
I did not expect my post on the subject to make so much traction, and I now regret how impulsively I made the post. I feel I've contributed to fear mongering, even though I feel my concerns at the time were valid and I felt like people had the right to know. I could have done more research and given more of an explanation for what my concerns were instead of basically saying "Yikes..." and leaving it at that.
I was also told through an anonymous ask that the auto accepting of the ToS on closing the game was a bug that had apparently been fixed the first day the character creation trial was available. I of course cannot verify this myself, but I will take them on good faith.
I would also like to touch on two other talking points that have been very prevalent in the Inzoi discourse:
Diversity - I think this links back to my previous point about the game's goal of being as ~*aesthetic*~ (and marketable) as possible at the detriment of everything else. The game is clearly catering to a very specific, very pale and thin standard of Korean beauty, and I think that everything that doesn't conform to that standard was sidelined as a result. I will be fair and say that the Inzoi team still has ample opportunity to fix this and add more options over time. TS4 was also severely lacking on release, but over the years has made great strides in regards to representation. However I would have hoped that Inzoi, a game planning to release in early access in 2024, would do a lot better than a game that was initially released in 2014.
Partnership with Curseforge - I've seen many people accuse critics of Inzoi's partnership with Curseforge of being hypocritical, since TS4 also has a partnership with them. Of course, one would have to ignore the massive, community wide boycott of Curseforge, and the pressure the community has put on CC creators to stop using the platform for that claim to hold any water. I also think there is a notable difference in EA choosing to partner with Curseforge before the Israel/Palestine conflict began, and Krafton actively choosing to partner with Curseforge now, during an active genocide taking place, in which Curseforge's parent company, Overwolf, actively advocates for and donates to those committing said genocide.
In conclusion, there are a lot of valid reasons to not like/be suspicious of Inzoi. Of course I can't tell you what to do or what games you play, nor can I force you to agree with me, but don't be so quick to write off or demonize those who are simply trying to raise awareness or drawing boundaries regarding Inzoi and those who choose to make content with it.
I also encourage you to consider the points I've made and maybe think twice before investing yourself in yet another game that will very likely exploit your attachment to it in the very same way that EA and the Sims has. You need to make them deserve your time and money, which is why I'm encouraging you to advocate for a better and more ethical game.
You deserve better. We all do.

SBBB 2025 rules:
No generative AI allowed in any form.
Minors are welcome, but will only be allowed to work on SFW projects.
Participants are required to have a Discord account, as the check-ins and creative teams collaboration will happen in the server dedicated to the event. They will also be asked to provide a second form of communication of their choice (e.g. tumblr, social media, email, etc.)
Progress check-ins as outlined in the event timeline are mandatory. This helps us all to ensure team communications are going smoothly, and that participants are on track to complete their works by the final deadlines.
If you are having trouble with a deadline, please let a mod know as soon as possible. The mod team can arrange something to accommodate reasonable requests for extensions.
Do not discuss, share or post your work on any social media until your assigned posting date.
If any participant wishes to contribute a form of art and/or content that does not fit the art criteria laid out in these rules (such as a podfic, fanvideo, gifset, photoset, etc.), please contact the mods to discuss what this will look like. These are more than welcome, and will be shared in the Big Bang pages along with the fics and their main companion art pieces.
For Writers:
Writers commit to publishing a new, original, SuperBat focused fic on their assigned posting date. (The work can be an existing WIP or idea, as long as it hasn’t been published anywhere before).
Works must meet the minimum word count of 20k.
Works can include any and all ratings and warnings as long as they are tagged accordingly.
Any continuity and/or alternative universe is welcome.
Side couples are allowed as long as SuperBat remains the focus of the work. Moresomes with SuperBat (such as Clark/Bruce/Lois/Selina, or Clark/Bruce/Hal) are also allowed, but only if treated as secondary/background plots.
You are allowed to bring in your own beta, request one or more betas to be assigned to your team, or opt out of having a beta completely.
Multi-chapter works are allowed, but all the chapters must be published simultaneously on the assigned day.
Writers will publish their fics on Ao3 to allow the SBBB team to add their fics to the event’s collection.
For Artists:
Traditional and digital mediums are welcome. Traditional art must be scanned or photographed in clear lighting, ideally with minor color correction so that the final image accurately represents or enhances what was drawn. The final art must be at a resolution of at least 300dpi.
The artwork must be polished and represent multiple days worth of work. If you create a single illustration, it must contain the following attributes:
multiple figures
colors
shading
backgrounds
full render or detailed line art
If you want to contribute multiple illustrations, each individual illustration does not need to meet all the criteria above, but the total amount of work should roughly be equivalent.
We may discuss with artists the possibility of working on multiple projects if the artist group is smaller than the writers group. In this case, the total amount of work an artist contributes (outlined above) would be spread equally across projects.
Artists can publish their works on platforms such as Tumblr, Bluesky, Pillowfort, etc. We ask that artists also upload their final work onto a hosting website (such as imgur) that will allow for embedding into the corresponding fics. This can be discussed with the Mod team at any time, and assistance given for anyone who doesn't have experience with setting this up.
For Beta Readers:
You and your writer will establish what kind of help or feedback they are looking for (grammar, pacing, etc.)
You will be expected to be available to give timely feedback to your writer(s) as requested.
The event will have a dedicated space where betas will be able to provide quick feedback to any writers (not just who they’re paired with) who request assistance on their fics, but participation outside of your agreed teams is not mandatory.
For Pinch Hitters:
You can elect to sign up as a pinch hitter for art and/or beta reading purposes.
In the unlikely scenario where a member of a team drops their role, pinch hitters will be asked to take over and work with the team.
The deadlines will remain the official ones, unless too critical. Mods will discuss each case with the pinch hitter to ensure that the workload and remaining time are balanced.
Want to know the timeline of the event? You can read it here!

I don’t think people fully get why that picture hit such a nerve—and honestly, it’s not just about one post. It’s about what that post represents. If you think PRstri just snapped a quick pic, handed over the phone, and someone went “cute, let’s toss it up,” you seriously underestimate how Formula One PR works. This isn’t some friend’s vacation photo dump. This is a multi-billion dollar brand with strict social media pipelines designed to protect sponsors, control image, and—ironically—avoid PR disasters.
Here’s how it usually goes:
Someone takes the photos.
They’re uploaded to an internal drive.
A comms coordinator combs through them for brand clarity, facial expressions, and sponsor logos.
Images are lightly edited (color correction, sharpness, maybe a crop).
Then they’re passed to the Social Media Manager and/or Head of Comms for approval.
There's a final brand and legal compliance check—nothing embargoed, no confidential tech, no slip-ups.
Only then is the image uploaded, with carefully selected tags and captions aligning with sponsor deals and media tone.
So yes, dozens of eyes saw that picture. And they all signed off on it. The image that blocked Lando, while praising “the team” and tagging only PRstri and Google? That wasn’t an accident. That was a choice. A deliberate message shaped by layers of approval.
And don’t get me started on the process to make it their Twitter header. That is the banner image. The first thing every mcl fan, PRstri fan, Lando fan, sponsor, journalist, and rival team sees when they click on mcl's Twitter account.
That wasn’t a “oops.” That was branding. Strategic. Blatant. And yeah—we saw it.
They likely didn’t anticipate this much backlash, probably because they’ve been so busy force-feeding PRstri to the public. They let Lando rot in the comments section with no protection, no moderation, just silence. So when that picture went live, they figured people would eat it up the same way. But surprise—turns out most of Lando's fanbase still has a functioning moral compass and memory.
If I were to pull out my tinfoil hat (which, at this point, might as well be team-issued), I’d say this felt like a soft launch of the Oscar-as-Principal-Driver campaign. Quietly phase Lando out of the narrative, make PRstri the golden child, and see how far they can push the rebrand before anyone screams. Well, people screamed. And no amount of damage control posts can unring that bell.

“MY BROTHERS FROM STARS AFAR. JOIN US AND WE SHALL BURN TYRANNY TO CHAR.
WE HAVE WATCHED OUR WORLD BE TORN TO SHREDS. FILLED WITH DREAD AS BILLIONS DROPPED DEAD AND MANY MORE PROFUSELY BLED.
WE WATCHED IN HORROR AS ENTIRE CULTURES WERE ERASED. ENTIRE WORLDS WERE DISPLACED
AND ALL THIS FOR THE ELITES TO LINE THEIR POCKETS. THEY LAUGHED AT OUR PLIGHT FROM THEIR SEATS AS THEY MULTIPLY THEIR PROFITS.
ALL FOR THE TYRANTS TO BE OUR PUPPETEERS OF ENDLESS PAIN. CONTROLLING US THROUGH OUR FEARS FOR THEIR OWN PERSONAL GAIN.
WE DESPISED THEM TO OUR HEARTS AS IT RADICALIZED US TO DO OUR PART.
WE KILLED EVERY LAST DESPOT AND OVERTHREW OUR STATES. WE FOUGHT FOR OUR RESPITE AND NOW DECIDED OUR OWN FATES
OUR HOME WAS UNSALVAGEABLE, WE LEFT AND FLEW INTO THE FRIGID QUIET NIGHT. WE SEARCHED THE STARS ONLY TO FIND YOU AND YOUR KINDRED PLIGHT.
IT'S ALL CLEAR NOW, OUR AGONY WAS MUTUAL, AND WE SAW A NEW TRUE THESES. THE FIGHT AGAINST TYRANNY IS THE ONE CONSTANT, UNIVERSAL TO ALL SPECIES .
WE HAVE SUFFERED FOR FAR TOO LONG WITH NOTHING TO GAIN. AND WE WILL MAKE SURE YOU WON'T GO THROUGH OUR PAIN.
WE ARE HERE TO SET YOU FREE. AND SAVE YOU FROM ALL DISASTERS. TO HELP YOU FIND YOUR PEACE AND SLAY YOUR MASTERS.

10 billion years ago they walked the universe with the Factorem. In a time when space itself was warm.

They too were the technological pinnacle of the universe.
They bent reality to create floating architecture and multi-dimensional superstructures that defied the very laws of physics.
They too helped create the Understars, an entire parallel universe just to ease travel in our own reality.
They even went as far as being able to temporarily reverse to flow of time in portions of space to undo mistakes to grave to make.
And even learned how to convert thermal energy back into mechanical energy. Delaying the heat death of the universe.
Look at the night sky the same way the hubble telescope saw it through the deep field image.
Millions of galaxies in every square centimeter of your vision.
Every single one holds tens to hundreds of billions of stars and countless planets.
So many galaxies it would turn the whole night sky a deep gold if you could see the full scale
Where the loving embrace of the factorem tended the gardens to one half of it
They had spread the call of liberty to the other half
They were the harbingers of intergalactic liberation
They were the Bellators

Had the urge to draw this a few days ago and wanted to finish a little poem before i uploaded this. I was. very. emotionally charged making this.
This character is a part of a personal project of mine, A Story of Our Universe. And is meant to serve as the Factorem's Equals.

How to Add 3D Models to TS3
Required Applications:
Blender - https://www.blender.org/
TSRW - https://www.thesimsresource.com/workshop/
Milkshape & Plugins - https://sims3tutorialhub.tumblr.com/resources
NVIDIA Texture Tools, Photopea, or GIMP (or anything else that allows you to save an image as a .dds file)
Recommended:
S3PE - https://www.simlogical.com/ContentUploadsRemote/uploads/189/ - Used to make = object base game compatible and available in CAW
Sims3Multi Pack Extractor - https://modthesims.info/d/364038/delphy-s-sims-3-pack-multi-extracter-updated-5th-sept-2009.html - Used to convert a sims3pack into a package file
This will also require showtime, since the object we will be cloning will be from that pack. I'm not sure if there's a base game object with a light/illumination map that we can use. If you don't want the windows of the building(s) to light up or anything lighting up on whatever object you are adding then you can try and find a base game object to clone.
Step 1: Export .obj file from Blender
Step 2: Import .obj into Milkshape
Step 3: Rename object in Milkshape to group_0, then export file as .wso (in order to export it as a .wso, you need to have the TSRW plugins for Milkshape installed)
Step 4: Open TSRW - Create New Project - Choose Object
Step 5: Under The Sims 3 choose Uncategorized Objects under Object by Category. In the search bar, type in 'hill' and choose the 'Sign City Hill' object. Name your project (make sure to rename both project name and title)
Step 6: First, choose where you want your object to show in the catalog. I just choose decor (function category) and miscellaneous decor (function sub category). Go to the mesh tab and using the button of the box with the green arrow, import your .wso file. For the first pop-up click yes. For the second, click no.
Step 7: Under Group 0, click on the three dots beside 'material'. This is where you will import your textures. Before doing so, you must make sure the images are in .dds format. Simply add your image into any application that supports importing/exporting .dds files. I personally save with BC3/DXT5 compression and don't keep mipmaps. Some say to save the mipmaps, but because I use 2K textures it adds a lot more to the file to save them so I don't. Once you've got them in the correct format, import them into the object's materials. For the detail map I simply import a small blank white texture. The diffuse is the main color texture, the multiply map is the ambient occlusion map (if you do not have it, I'm pretty sure you can just add a blank white texture too), and the self illumination map is what allows part of the mesh to light up. If you do not want anything to light up you can just add a plain black texture. Click done and exit out once all textures are replaced.
Step 8: Click the drop down that reads 'high level of detail' and choose the shadow lod. Click on the blue arrows beside the import icon. A pop-up will show; check the box under medium detail and click ok. You will see that once you've done that, the object's shadow will change.
Step 9: Click file - save as and save .wrk file (just in case).
Step 10: Export to Sims3Pack
Extra - Make Object Base Game Compatible
1. Convert .sims3pack to .package using Sims3Multi Pack Extractor
2. Open S3PE and open package file you want to edit
3. Find OBJD tag and double click on it
4. Change group number to 0 and click ok.
5. Save package
Extra 2 - Make object appear in CAW
1. Open S3PE and open package file you want to edit
2. Find OBJD tag and highlight it by clicking on it once
3. At the very bottom of the window, click on 'Grid'
4. Click the arrow beside 'CommonBlock' to open the tab
5. Beside the version, change the C to E and click commit
6. Reopen the 'Grid' and go back into the 'CommonBlock' tab. If you scroll down, you will now see 'IsVisibleInWorldBuilder', change it from false to true.
7. Scroll down until you find 'BuildCategoryFlags'. Replace the number with 0x00008000.
8. Click commit and save the file.
Let me know if you have any questions! TSRW is very finicky and sometimes things can go wrong. There are some things that I may not know how to fix, but I will try my best to help.

Tutorial: Editing the multi-road mod
Edit 2025-05-17: Also archived at Simblr.cc.
Here are instructions for adding new tile types to the existing multi-road mod. This tutorial is applicable to unique tiles like a partly-dirt/partly-asphalt intersection, but it's equally applicable if you want to add a tertiary or quaternary road type.
However, please keep in mind that if you don't need extra tile types but only want a different kind of secondary road (like asphalt and dirt instead of asphalt and asphalt-with-sidewalks), you can skip all of this and just replace the textures inside the Textures.package file.
First things first: make sure you have textures for the new kind of tile. You'll need five versions of it, three solid (heavy/light/no snow) and two semitransparent (snowy/clear). If you open up the Textures.package file and look at the Texture Images already present, you can use existing road pieces as templates. I've uploaded what I could find of the textures I made for dirt/asphalt intersections here at SFS, but it doesn't look like I finished them; feel free to use what's there if it's helpful. (Edit: whoops, forgot to say this originally, but those textures are mashed-up versions of ones by @nimitwinklesims and @criquette-was-here.)
Second: you need a hexadecimal ID number for each new tile type. The best way to do it is to take the vanilla tile IDs (00000300, 00000f00, 00004b00, 00005700, and 00020700) and change the third digit of each one while keeping the type the same (like using 00400300 for a dead end, 00400f00 for a straight piece, etc.). In this case, I used 00205700 for a T-intersection. Be aware that the ID number will sometimes need to end with zero and sometimes with four.
When you're ready to start, open up the Textures.package file from the multi-road mod.
Inside the Textures.package file, click on one of the two Maxis Material Shader files in the list. You need the one that says "Shaders for lot skirt" near the top.
Once you've got that open, you'll need to scroll all the way down to the bottom and find the Temperate entries that look like this:
create LotSkirtRoadMaterialInstance(lotSkirtRoad_Temperate_00205700 lotskirtroad_temperate_00205704)
...and copy and paste that whole line at the end of it.
Then hit the little blue "commit" at the bottom right.
Next, open up the one that says "Predefined neighborhood materials" near the top, and scroll down to the end of it. The version of the mod currently up on SFS already has a line for '00205700' in it - looks like I forgot to delete that (and several others, whoops). If it weren't there, you'd paste this line in and commit:
create NHoodRoadMaterial(neighborhood-roads-Temperate-00205700 Temperate_roads_00205704)
After that, look at the Texture Image files. Go down the list one-by-one. You should find five with the number "00105704" in their names. Each time you find one, right-click on its name and choose Clone.
The five clones will be italicized in the list. For each one, click to open it, go to the Filename box and replace the "00105704" with "00205704", then click the little blue "fix TGI" just below it. Then click the "Commit" button in the top right.
Click away to another resource and come back; this is just to make SimPE reload it. Right-click on the texture box and choose "Build DXT...". (If it's greyed out, SimPE can't find the Nvidia DDS Utilities on your computer, and you'll need to go install them and/or point SimPE to them.)
Click on the little blue "open" link and browse to the texture you created. Don't change any of the options, just open the image and hit "Build." Once the DDS tool is done doing its thing and you can see that your new texture has been imported, hit the "Commit" button again.
When you've done all of them, save the package and close. Now you'll be set up for the previous tutorial that directs your neighborhood to actually use the new tiles. You'll just be changing the ID numbers from "00005700" to "00205700" instead of "00105700" (or whatever).

(MILD FLASHING IMAGES WARNING)
BABY'S FIRST MULTI ANIMATOR PROJECT YEAH!!!!
HII HELLO! THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I'VE EVER JOINED A MAP AND FINISHED MY PART WHICH IS SOMETHING I'VE ALWAYS WANTED TO DO, I'M SO EXCITED! admittedly this was a major learning curve so I am a bit nervous about uploading, especially since there might be some mistakes, but I did my best to experiment, I don't often use frame by frame so I'm a bit rusty with it, but I think I did good here! I think capcut unfortunately butchered the quality in some aspects, but other than that I am so proud of the results!
here's the MAP, there's still a lot of parts open so I highly recommend checking it out! https://youtu.be/HfocK4P9cn0

By ZVIKA KLEIN
Our intelligence and air force officers played their hand with surgical care. Once the missiles stopped flying, Tehran ordered a blackout so severe that NetBlocks data registered connectivity plunging into single digits. That level of throttling isn’t about “cybersecurity” but rather about muzzling any glimpse of the strike footage, any grainy upload of damage that might embolden Iranians to question the narrative they’ve been fed for decades.
Who knows? Maybe Israel is to blame for this disconnect. We will likely only know in a few decades when this operation becomes a standard playbook in militaries worldwide.
Even as bombs and bytes struck in tandem, Israel’s messaging made a point of distinguishing between fighting the regime and targeting ordinary citizens. There’s a world of difference between saying, “We must overthrow the government because it threatens us,” and “We are at war with those who fund and command these attacks at your expense.” The IDF wanted to keep the focus squarely on the IRGC’s infrastructure, not on the people caught in the crossfire.
And make no mistake: Despite the pundits who dismiss us as a one-trick pony, this mission bore all the hallmarks of the Israeli way: ingenuity under pressure, rapid improvisation, and a stubborn faith that we could pull it off.
Literally years of planning laid the groundwork: By last November, military intelligence and Mossad analysts were already running simulations on how to collapse key enrichment cascades at Natanz and Fordow with minimal collateral damage. In parallel, Mossad operatives smuggled suitcase drones into Iran’s border provinces, ready to blind radar arrays ahead of the opening salvo.
When those jets finally roared in at dawn, they weren’t just following flight plans; they were executing a doctrine built on flexibility of mind. We briefed our best scientists and engineers on zero-margin blast effects, we rehearsed communications blackouts, and we vetted every bombing coordinate against civilian footprints gathered from high-resolution imagery. That’s why, even though we struck dozens of sites, Iranian street cameras showed almost no evidence of mass casualties.
ON THE diplomatic front, too, we leaned in. While US President Donald Trump publicly dangled the threat of American strikes should Tehran continue its nuclear advances, behind closed doors, he granted us the green light to proceed, so long as we kept the death toll low and the operation limited in scope. It’s not often that you see a US president and an Israeli prime minister coordinating multi-domain operations with that level of trust.
Yet, for all our precision, Israel knew the risks. The regime’s next move was predictably brutal: volleys of ballistic missiles armed with modified cluster-munition warheads. One of these rockets showered Holon and Azor with submunitions designed to tear through apartment windows and cars – an escalation we hadn’t seen before in the same conflict. Cluster bomblets crashed on Israeli soil, littering the ground with lethal scrap for weeks and turning everyday streets into minefields.
And still, Iran persisted. Their cyberwarriors struck back, hijacking broadcast feeds to show images of their own “martyrs” and warning Iranians that our “terrorist” campaign would only intensify. The regime’s playbook is simple: heighten fear to crush dissent, then point the finger at “external enemies” to rally a battered population.
So what have we learned?
First, true deterrence demands multi-domain integration: air power alone won’t cut it, nor will cyber raids executed in isolation. The IDF found itself orchestrating espionage, sabotage, strikes, and propaganda in perfect synchrony.
Second, the regime’s vulnerabilities go far beyond centrifuges and missile silos; they lie in their own brittle information environment. Cutting off their headlines and their HOD IMs can sometimes hurt as much as a cruise missile.
Third, this conflict has ushered in a new era of “precision terror”: cluster munitions, blockchain burn wallets, and hastily imposed blackouts.

Yuki’s Newsletter 1
I’ve been trying to write this Newsletter for a million years, and maybe it’s because Tumblr blesses me with such a generous word count, but my brain unloads too much info into the grain elevator at once and clogs the mental feed, thus, writing one of these requires me to sit and think about structure, and words, and if I want images- when really all I want is for you to Know Things. For example, if you followed me on Bluesky (or Twitter), you would get my thoughts as they come to me and I make sure to thread them logically, but when I tried to do the same on the Tumblr a few times I always found it so messy. Not sure why I’m so precious with my Tumblr. Welp here we go!
1) MY STORE
I made an Instagram (… another social media for the hoard yes). It’ll be used for my shop only. I’m planning on recording production asmr there; things like printing, cutting machine, making buttons. It’s all wordless but the vrrr brrrr clunk clunk shhhhhh is very satisfying from the preliminary videos I filmed and put on twitter. That way I’ll still have a presence without letting the platform AI eat all my stuff. Please follow me if you already have an Instagram, but I’ll be uploading the same things to my tumblr in chunks when I can. I'll bless you to be patient with me since I manage all of my social media and pages myself and it gets to be a lot sometimes.
My storefront will open June 1st for pre-orders in honor of Pride Month. I finally got my button machine(!!!) and I’m all ready to go on that front. I just have have to pick my art for it and measure my envelopes and check the shipping (Canada, USA, international) with those metrics. Please be patient with me as my store grows and changes especially with the tariff situation. I just splurged on Big Cartel's Platinum Tier (annual) for acces to features that, imo, are pertinent to even having an online shop. Working on the listings! :>
I’m currently remastering some of my art to make prints. These flat items and stickers will be sent by letter mail (cheap!)
My rendered commissions are closed for now, but my Kofi doodles are still open. AND! I'm planning on an upcoming Pride Month special for simple coloured couple art which includes the price of a button sent to you with that art featured. Limited slots due to the custom nature of it. (See Solotan below for example)
2) My Art
DiaLuci Strawpage: Lots of you have sent me gimmicks and asks! Thank you! I put a lot of effort into my responses and I have been unable to get to them yet. Don't worry, I have not forgotten! Making comics and doodles in response takes work!
My Tumblr Asks: Same as above! I love putting effort into my responses as I feel that anyone who bothers to talk to me deserve it. There is even an ask that has been sitting in my inbox since November and it's currently a draft and... at this point it constitutes its own Longpost. (orz) Maybe I'm just too damn wordy for my own good.
3) My Fanfics
The next chapter of This Memo Means I Love You [Rated E] is very long. When me and @ruewrites first decided to write it, we thought it would be a simple multi-chapter Valentines story. lol. Truly. But when you care so much about something, you can’t help but keep it going. I’ll share an excerpt soon as thank you for following the story. I don’t have a date on when we would release this chapter, but we have 4 key scenes to finish. The plot threads weave tight. It’s already 8k words and we anticipate that it will double before it’s done. (For comparison… we are currently at 5 chapters totalling 33k)
I’ve been working every now and then on my 2023 fanfic The Sex Shop [Rated E] a sentence or two at a time. I still think of it everytime I open my AO3 and it’s been on my mind for two years. I want to finish it, but it’s got so many threads to untangle and I’ll have to reread the whole thing to understand where my mind was at and that stops me from making true progress. (Look at this newsletter and tell me I have that kind of time right now haha) But it is my pride and joy and I must write them their hard-earned happily ever after. I already have the epilogue.
4) My trello scrolls sideways into hell. Here's half of it.

Thank you everyone for Two Years of Support for my works. You being here and letting me know you enjoy them has kept this one-man production line going, whether arts, Doodles, fanfics... now merch. Seriously, thank you. ♡ You deserve my best, now and in the future.

idk if you’ll see this but uhh. All the Startouched AU fics rotate in my brain still, along with just being a genuinely incredible series of fics I enjoy. I wanted to know if you uploaded them somewhere else besides AO3?
AO3 loves not letting me enter reader-view 70% of the time (I have poor eyesight) and most of the images no longer load or aren’t there anymore (which makes me very :<<<). If not that’s cool, I just wanted to let you know.
And also thank you for your amazing works, honestly up there with some of my favorite fics ever written.
AAA THANK YOU SO MUCH???
To answer your question: some chapters of the first fic were posted to my old Tumblr blog. But that is not the best way to read it either, as it's incomplete + Tumblr isn't built for multi-part fanfics like that.
That being said, it is possible to download fics from AO3 in many formats. Both EPUP and HTML should be customizable enough to suit your vision needs! As far as I can tell, that may be your best option. Once I fix the images (which, I should still have the original artworks around here somewhere, but no promises) I can show you how to download the fics ^^
#borb answers#You can download any fanfic off of Ao3 for offline reading BTW#Or for accessibility reasons like this#Or for your own personal archive!#Some ppl even do it to physically bind copies of fanfics which is SUPER COOL#Real talk one of my favorite works of art is this physical copy of My Immortal that's tacky as hell#Has sequins and black feathers glued on it. Absolutely AMAZING.#anyways yeah I'll get to fixing the images for you now lol

TTRPGs that are played specifically through the framework of the Discord app? I'm reviewing a work in progress game that's being set up to work like that and I wanted to know if there are others!
THEME: Discord RPGS
Hello there friend, I know you mentioned This Discord Has Ghosts In It in another ask, but I’m going to mention it anyways - along with some other awesome options that exist out there!
This Discord Has Ghosts In It, by Will Jobst.
You’ve been invited to a haunted house. That haunted house is a Discord server.
Find your greatest fear, spill your worst secrets, and get to the thrilling seance in This Discord Has Ghosts in It.
I played this game for Halloween one year and it was great! In this game there are two roles: investigators and ghosts. All of the players will hang out in a voice chat, but only investigators can speak. Meanwhile, ghosts are the only ones who can type inside the game channels - and they are allowed to add new rooms to the house, upload pictures, and alter the text.
I definitely encourage players to use Lines, Veils, and the X card for this game, as it’s a horror game and you’re often met with images, not just descriptions.
MUDSLURP, by Will Uhl.
MUDSLURP (Multi-User Discord Server Lore-Universe Role Play) is a roleplaying game about asynchronous communication, intersecting storylines, and carrying a piece of your characters with you in everyday life. Everyone involved controls at least one character and participates in a shared text chatroom integrated into a fictional setting.
MUDSLURP is also compatible with other tabletop RPGs - bring a new dimension to your story with a chatroom for all your characters! Host server events, build out the world, and learn more about each other. MUDSLURP even supports multiple tabletop campaigns sharing the same chatroom, including guidelines for avoiding & resolving canon disputes.
This is something that really intrigues me, as I run a Discord server myself and I’m always looking for options that incorporate more people and give people multiple ways to interact. Since this is compatible with other tabletop games, I’m assuming you can have real-time sessions alongside something more like a play-by-post format - although I haven’t bought the game yet so I can’t say for sure.
Tournament Arc, by SystemxEmotion.
Tournament Arc is a text-based, real-time, head-to-head, fighting roleplaying game. Most importantly, Tournament Arc is a game where you create any character you can think of (or steal from your favourite media), and fight your friends.
When you play Tournament Arc, you will create a powerful fighter and you’ll try and beat other fighters in arena combat. Fighters can be anything you can fathom, from talented martial artists to alien creatures from other dimensions, and from off-duty superheroes to ordinary people granted arcane powers by elder beings. The one thing that they all have in common is that their powers come from spirits. Spirits are strange entities that recently appeared in the world, and are as diverse as the fighters themselves.
As a text-based game, Tournament Arc depends on a third, neutral party for each battle. This third player is called the Conduit, who will judge both attacks and determine an outcome. I can see this being a great game for large groups, especially because each person gets to pick up the GM role at some point. You create move sets using different abilities that might be active or passive, and the book comes with advice on how to make the combat dynamic and interesting. If you are playing with a group that likes feeling powerful and enjoys big action scenes, this might be the game for you!
Eccentric Millionaire, by nickwedig.
Somewhere in the wilderness, an eccentric millionaire has buried $50 million worth of bearer bonds, gold, historic artifacts and art treasures.
You’re going to hunt for it, from the comfort of your own homes.
There are a lot of other people also searching for the treasure, too. Work with them for more clues, but don’t trust them. If they get the treasure first, they get millions of dollars. Second place gets nothing.
Eccentric Millionaire is an online game of logical deduction and social deception. One player acts as the host and organizer of the game. They will also play the role of the Eccentric Millionaire. The other players take on the role of treasure hunters. The game is played online, through chat systems like Discord or Slack, and via online map tools like Google Maps. Gameplay takes place over days or weeks, as the treasure hunters uncover more clues and zero in on the location of the treasure. Eventually, one player will find the treasure and win the game.
I love games that use innovative online tools, and this game's use of Google Maps is a great example. This is also great for large groups, of up to 25 people! I caution you though, the organization for a game like this definitely requires a lot of set up - you might have to customize a Discord Server before you are ready to play.
