Seems this fandom goes nuts for pretty boys so here's one of our Tavs. We're sick right now so this is probably gonna be nonsensical rambling but his name is Mnason, surname of Ward, he's a Knowledge Domain cleric of Mystra who is also a wizard (what better way to prove his devotion to the Weavemistress than by studying and practising Her Art as best he can?), and he serves as the head librarian to a prestigious tower archive of our own creation in Baldur's Gate called the Tower of Shattered Glass, well known for its sizable collection of memory shards. His twin sister Mnemosyne is the Tower's Archivist and its Keeper. The Tower does have other devotees as well, fellow clerics of Mystra and of Oghma. His father is a human bard and worshipper of Oghma; he plays the flute. His mother is a high elf; she serves as High Priestess to Mystra's church. [I might make a separate post to toss his family's headshots in.]

Mnason and his sister were born prematurely and he was particularly sick; he should've died soon after birth, but his mother begged for a miracle, and so Mystra in all Her benevolence (lol) granted a favour by saving Mnason's life. He's being sustained by Her, by the Weave itself, so this also makes him technically a sorcerer, but he is unaware of this because his innate magic is kept in check by the fact that it's kind of The Only Thing Keeping Him Alive and so there isn't exactly a surplus of it to burst out of him at random moments.

He genuinely Was Not Supposed To Be Here if not for the mind flayer abduction and is trying desperately to get back to where he's needed while also finding a cure, but as you all know, Shit Happens. Winds up falling deep, deep, deeply in love with Gale and thus having his faith challenged and his entire life turned upside down as he grapples with everything he's ever known about Mystra, and everything he's learned about her now through his journey with Gale.

The jar was heavy, and it seemed to help to have someone either nearby or carrying it. Pondermore took some of the burden while traveling back to see Amatu's girl. Amatu carried it sometimes, or curled around it during their resting hours. Stravras the Really Dark Grey had given them a little device to let them know when or if the being inside needed blood, milk, or some other kind of sustenance. There was a huge list of things that should never be given as sustenance, which included liquid egg yolk and pennyroyal.

They had a cart for this leg of the trip, and Amatu had wrapped himself around the jar. Brooding over the contents in both meanings of the word.

Young men react strangely when they encounter sudden onset fatherhood. Older men are little better.

So as several of you know, we recently got into Hogwarts Legacy and if you know us at all you know we obviously had to make OCs for it. And so, I give to you the twins, Melpomeni and Rowan Asimi (Meli and Row for short).

The children of a Greek Muggle immigrant to Ireland, and an Irish half-giant witch, they’re both considerably taller than their classmates; they’re about 7′6″ at the start of the game, but cap out between 8′-9′ as adults. Their giant blood also affords them some additional resistance to certain magic, as well as a bit greater strength and resilience than average.

Meli was assumed to be a Squib until she got her acceptance letter the Summer before year 5; came as quite a shock to her and her family. She believes that there is no such thing as ‘Dark’ magic; that no magic is inherently evil or inherently good, what matters is how it’s used. She gets on well with Sebastian in this regard, and has disagreements with Ominis about it, as he draws a hard line against all magic that’s been classified as Dark. However, she is ultimately closer to the latter given that she agrees with him that Sebastian is on a slippery slope and needs to be pulled back before he destroys himself or anyone else. She got that scar on her face from the dragon incident with Poppy.

Rowan was accepted to Hogwarts normally, and sorted into Slytherin. He and Sebastian got on like a house on fire, and so quickly made friends with Anne and Ominis as well. Caring for Anne as a friend and knowing how he would feel if Meli was in her place, he has differing views than the others about the path Sebastian is going down and how risky it really is (this is also partially due to the fact that he fancies Seb, though Row is not yet entirely aware of that fact). He’s a skilled duellist; he and Sebastian are nearly always partners and remain among Crossed Wands’ top ranks. Meli quickly joins them, though, and this combined with her powers of ancient magic, and how quickly she becomes Sebastian’s ‘new best friend’ fosters some resentment on his part (try as he does to remember that there very much are people trying to kill her due to her ancient magic and that her prowess for duelling was borne out of necessity and forced practice).

By the fourth time Shouto tries to tell Katsuki “I love you” and it still doesn’t happen, Shouto’s ready to put up his Heaven-Piercing Ice Wall between the two of them and everyone else, just so he can have Katsuki to himself for three extra seconds and tell him.

Or, five times Shouto gets interrupted while trying to tell Katsuki he loves him and one time he finally succeeds.
