❛   YOU MEAN BECAUSE WE SOUND TOTALLY CRAZY?   ❜   a small smile cracks across an otherwise SERIOUS expression,  eyes drifting upward to look at the younger girl.  after a moment,  karolina nods,  though she’s not sure just how any authorities would elect to lock up two teenaged FREAKS and their friends   (   though their friends are likely to get better treatment   ).   ❛   between what we’re accusing our PARENTS of,  and the fact that we’ve both got really weird super powers  —-  yeah,  i don’t think they’d hesitate.  kinda stinks,  doesn’t it?  we’re not BAD just because our parents are,  you know?   ❜   at least,  she hopes not  —-  though there are far too many moments where she WONDERS if such evil is hereditary.  eyes avert as she laughs a little,   ❛   or  —-  most of our parents,  at least.   ❜   she offers as an amendment.  since molly’s parents aren’t even AROUND anymore,  even if they were involved at some point,  it doesn’t matter so much now.
