Since it's D&D time right now, here is my current tabletop campaign character: Camilla de Castaigne, or Cece. Shadar-kai elf and warlock of the Hexblade and Pact of the Blade variety. (Not Pact of the Tome! I wanted her to have a cool triple-pronged weapon. For reasons.) Voracious bookworm, and as a teen she accidentally absorbed the Wrong book, which gave her the King in Yellow for a patron. She might be slowly transforming and thinks she can hide it and blend in by wearing douchebag sunglasses and a fedora. High Int low Wis kinda gal.

At the moment, she's learned Hastur's true name from a Stone Cursed obsidian skull (but he's still annoyingly antisocial), she might have a lead on a place where the border between the mortal world and the spirit world is thin and a lead on the way through (so that she can find lost Carcosa), and she may have pissed off her employers (a cult she's been siphoning information from for a few years).

Learning Hastur's name also gave her access to graviturgy magic. Almost like he's got a gravitational pull, and the closer she gets, the more she gets sucked in. Spooky!
