My vision is blurry, the world is spinning to fast, the music is too loud. I stumble my way out of the house into the garden, I lay on the grass floor besides a tree and look at the branches move. It looks so pretty, the wind hits my face and I get cold, I wanna go home.

I don’t even know when I grabbed my phone and I called Nick.

‘’What the fuck? It’s 2 in the morning, why are you calling?’’ Nicks voice come from the other side of the line, he wasn’t sleeping, he was probably editing a video or doing a Ru Paul’s marathon again.

‘’Come pick me up, please. I’m cold.’’ I whisper into the phone laying on the floor besides me.

‘’Shit, are you drunk?’’

‘’Yes, sorry. I need a hug.’’ I hear stumbling and keys moving.

‘’Send me your location.’’ He guides me because I can’t remember how to. We stay on call; he tells me he is on his way and I just listen to his voice while caressing and playing with the grass. I hear the call end and I see Nick standing in front of me. ‘’Come on, let’s go home.’’

‘’Can’t. grass is my new bed.’’

‘’Come on, you asked me to pick you up, don’t be a baby.’’

‘’What if I’m a baby? how do you know I’m not.’’

‘’I can see you. Come here.’’ He kneels in front of me and puts my phone in his pocket. He sits me against the tree and helps me put on the hoodie he had over his shoulder, it’s soft and it smells like him. ‘’I swear if you puke on it I will kill you.’’ I put my head against his shoulder and sigh.

‘’Won’t, promise. You are warm, I’m no longer cold.’’ I nuzzle my face into the crook of his neck.

‘’That’s good, stand up, we are going home.’’ He tries to lift me up but I don’t let him.

‘’Nooo, wanna hug you.’’ I slur out.

‘’You can hug me all you want when we get home, plus you’ll get to do it in a comfy bed.’’

‘’And my hoodie, I won’t take it away.’’

‘’M’kay.’’ I stand up the best I can, I wrap my arms around his shoulders and we start walking, it wasn’t a long walk. The fresh air was nice, I think I’m rambling and saying non sense, but I’m not sure if I’m thinking it of just saying it. ‘’Sky’s pretty. Like you.’’

‘’Let’s go inside, you are drunk.’’

‘’We are hooome!’’

‘’Sh…’’ he puts a hand up to my mouth. ‘’everyone is sleeping, shut up.’’

‘’I’m not sleeping, you are not sleeping, not everyone eepying.’’ He rolls his eyes with a smile on his face.

‘’Lot’s of people are sleeping, so be quiet.’’ I nod and we go to his room quietly. I throw myself into the bed, cuddling with his pillows and blankets, a wave of sadness invades my body.

‘’I’m sorry.’’ He sits besides me.

‘’For what?’’

‘’I know you don’t drink and don’t like when other people drink too much around you, I know you don’t like drunk people… I’m sorry.’’ I hug his pillow against my chest and hide my face in it. He plays with my hair.

‘’I don’t mind when it’s you.’’ I lay my head on his lap and he keeps playing with my hair.

‘’Thank you. That’s why I like you so much…’’

‘’We should talk about this tomorrow….’’

‘’What if I don’t remember, will you tell me?’’ he doesn’t say a thing. ‘’You don’t like me?’’

‘’No, it’s not that. You are drunk, we should tell this when we are sober.’’

‘’I’m sorry.’’ I sit up and he hugs me.

‘’Here’s your water, drink it.’’ I grab the glass and drink all of it.

Jealous and Clingy hcs for Jonathan/Spot!

Knocking this out before I take a nap (eepy <\3)! Usually I would split this into 2 sections buuuuut since I think there wasnt much change in this department I'm not gonna bother!!

So!! Yeah!!

Fair warning that this will probably be OOC and/or have mistakes since I'm eepy but I'm too stubborn to leave this for later ☝️😔

Starting off Jonathan is.

Whoooboy!

Like he tries not to be toxic about it, he doesn't want to hurt you or drive you away, and that sentiment is still there even after he becomes spot

He doesn't have many friends and he'll never forgive himself if he makes you leave

What he needs is loads of reassurance that you only have eyes for him, and communication is key! Let him know when you're going to be late or going to hang out with someone for a bit; if he sees you with someone else, or another *guy* it'll eat him up all day

Though sometimes he can still jump to conclusions so arguments are inevitable every now and then but again, communication and patience is key; he'll never go as far as to accuse you of cheating though (unless he truly has reason to suspect)

He doesn't think hes the prettiest, or nicest, or smartest, or-

I mean of all people, you chose him?

He feels lucky to have you, but he believes you can do so much better than him and that thought is constantly plaguing his mind

Not very self assured tbh

After the collider incident his self image issues get way way WAY worse; from the fact he can hardly consider himself human, to his new powers, to the fact everyone from his old life dropped him

Except, for you

You stayed

Through it all the fact you stuck around does give him comfort, more so than if you were to meet him after the collider incident

Its one thing to meet him as spot

But I feel its another to see and know how he was before, as just Jonathan, and to still stick around after his life was flipped upside down

His jealousy still spikes up every now and then

As a side thing I feel like as Jonathan he liked having you in his sight and, if possible, he liked holding your hand. Think of it as a "you're still here, you're here for me, you're not going anywhere and you love me," sort of thing

As spot that turns into him wanting to be even closer to you anytime he has the chance

The whole "oh I'm not the most (x)" thing REALLY amps up when he becomes spot, especially in the beauty department

Remind him that you dont mind the holes, shower him in affection

Overall it's going to be a while until hes confident in himself, both as Jonathan and as Spot

So please be patient with him, but remember to set clear boundaries for the relationship! I feel like with a lot of hc lists for insecurity and jealousy stuff, boundaries are hardly touched up on!! No hate to those writing like that and not including it but I feel like its important to stress that the other partner has the right to enforce their own things

Though that might be because when I was younger, jealous hcs were more... yandere-esque or getting REAL close to it, and it kinda. Made me think that was normal and desirable and okay in relationships so

Idk maybe that's just that part of me wanting to prevent that from happening to someone else

the world straighted up and took notice the day peter nureyev walked into that bar.

well, maybe not the world.

but fate certainly did. and so did juno steel. and maybe that's close enough.

it was another day like they had all been in that eternal winter: windy, overcast, and grey, with a kind of chill that doesn't nip as much as sink its fangs into your bones and never let go. he'd come into the bar for the same reason everyone else had, juno assumed, trying to get out of the wind and cold and warm up a little. but there was no warmth to be found here. no true relief from the constant cold that had been the norm for years.

spring had disappeared. and the world had never really quite recovered from its loss.

juno wasn't discouraged, though. he knew there had to be a way to fix it, and then it came to him while he was stacking crates out behind the bar a few days ago. a simple song popped into his head, and when he sang it. oh, when he sang it. it was like spring with all of its warmth and goodness and chaos had come back into the world for just a moment. and then the moment was over, and juno left with the knowledge that maybe, just maybe, he could fix things. the song needed work, certainly, but even as it was, it could fix a lot.

not everything, but a lot. he knew deep down some things could simply never be fixed.

he was musing about how to continue the song while wiping down one of the bar tables that seemed to be perpetually sticky with old beer and fading finish when the door creaked open, announcing a new customer. the work never stopped here, did it? no matter, he'd get to them in a minute when he was finished with this table and then he'd-

this new customer was quite possibly the most stunning man juno had ever seen. his hair was mussed from the wind outside and his face was flushed with cold. standing tall and lean in an oversized traveling coat, features sharp and clever as he spoke with juno's coworker at the bar. a streak of dirt rested on his cheek just below his wire rimmed glasses as he wriggled his warm leather gloves off.

he was clearly tired. everyone was. hard times do that to a people. but this man wore the exhaustion like a fine diamond bracelet, made for him in a way that complimented his countenance perfectly.

he was beautiful.

and that made him dangerous.

not that juno cared. he was quite fond of danger.

the man finally sat down at a table and sighed deeply, propping his head up on his hand as he waited for the drink he ordered. juno simply kept staring. he wasn't quite sure what to do next outside of stare. a thousand words were flooding his brain and all of them were stuck in his throat.

rita, his coworker, noticed. "you really wanna talk to him, dontcha boss?"

juno could only nod. dammit, why couldn't he say anything??

"then go DO it, boss!! whataya waitin' for?"

he opened his mouth to make some snappy remark, but nothing came out, so he just closed his mouth and nodded.

"oh, and mista steel?"

"yes, rita?"

"don't come on too strong, okay? I know you get a little excited about meetin' pretty people sometimes-"

"oh gods, rita, that was one time!!"

"well, it still cost lil old rita about a week's wages to replace the whiskey bottles you shattered from bein' so clumsy, so don't do it again!"

juno rolled his eyes and grabbed the stranger's drink to set down on his table. it was only a few steps to move, but somehow it felt like crossing mountains and rivers. juno's hands were shaking by the time he finally reached the man's side.

"ah, thank you, darling."

gods. even his voice was stunning. low and even and smooth as glass.

juno didn't even realize he was staring again until the man looked at him, slight concern etched onto his features. "are you alright? do you need something from me? I'm quite sure I paid at the bar but if you're looking for a tip-"

"come home with me." the words were out of juno's mouth before he could even think about them.

the man's eyebrows shot up and juno felt his face redden. he was quiet for a moment before responding. "you want me to go home with you?"

"yes."

"i don't even know who you are."

"i'm juno. i'm going to marry you."

there was another pause and internally, juno cringed. the one chance he gets to talk to someone attractive and he can't even act like a normal human being. of course it would be like this.

the man studied him for a moment before leaning back towards the bar to look at rita, who had been studying this interaction with all the curiosity of a child watching rabbits in the forest. "is he always like this?"

rita nodded vigorously. "absolutely, mista stranger-guy."

the man nodded thoughtfully before turning back to face juno. "i'm peter. peter nureyev."

Wild let out an annoyed little sigh, walking along the path with the rest of the group.

Flower was off in front, having come out of their shell the past few hours and excitedly talking to Four and Wind about…whatever it is that kids talk about. It’s nice to see the kid being expressive—the last few hours, since Wild found them, they’d been shy, mostly hiding in Wild and trying to avoid others. It’s nice that they’re trying now.

“I need to get them a weapon,”Wild groaned, annoyed at the realisation. “I don’t even think they know how to use one,”That’s going to be a problem, for sure.

“You’re bringing your kid with you?”Warriors raised a brow.

“No. I want to leave them here, but…it’s still dangerous here, y’know? I want them to be prepared so they can defend themselves without me here.”

Twilight hummed, nodding along.

“Yeah, that makes sense. Even if it’s just a wooden sword for now, hm?”

“We don’t know when the next portal will open.”Warriors hummed. “We should work on arming them as soon as possible then, hm?”

“Top priority.”Twilight agreed.

Wild nodded, still watching Flower from a distance. “How old are those two? The ones with Flower?”

“Wind’s 14,”Warriors hums out. “Not sure about Four, though. Never said. We think they’re, like, 15 or something though.”

“What bout Flower?”Twilight asks, and Wild shrugs.

“They don’t remember. They look young, though. Can’t—can’t be older than 10, with how small they are.”

The two nod along, seemingly just as worried about the child’s amnesia as Wild himself is.

“Wild!”Flower yells over, smiling brightly. “Foursey says he’s a blacksmith! That’s cool!”They giggle, then; “Do you know what a blacksmith is?”

“Uh. I know I’m their worst nightmare?”He offers. “I don’t remember what a blacksmith is either.”

“I make swords,”Four clarifies, for both of them. “And knives. I can fix them up, too. I can just, generally, make a lot of things out of metal.”

“Woahhh,”Flower stares at Four with pure awe in their eyes, and Wild watches as Four pretends not to be flattered by it.

“Here,”Four decides, pulling a knife seemingly out of nowhere. (Wild would later learn that Four has about a dozen knives on their person at all times, and that when Four says they have a trick up their sleeve, they really mean they have a knife.)

“You can keep it if you want.”They clarify, handing the small knife to Flower. It’s not too daunting like a sword would be. It’s small enough to be hidden, and sharp enough to pose a threat.

“Look, look, it’s got a flower on it!”Flower giggles happily. “I like it a lot.”

“That sorts my problem out,”Wild mumbles under his breath, then whistles. “Be careful with it, okay?”

“I will!”And then they tuck it into their sleeve as Four tells them, and runs off with the smithy again.

Well. At least the kid’s good at making friends… How could their family abandon them in that cave? It makes Wild feel sick.

“Wind is gonna have a field day with this kid,”Warriors sighs with a shake of his head. “Gonna teach them how to steal or something.”

“Oh. Handy skill,”Wild hums, chooses to ignore the looks he gets for the comment.

They walk for a while. Wild shows them around the general area, and then they have to go and find the trouble trio, as Wild has started to call them.

Flower, Four and Wind are almost inseparable. They stick close, and run off a lot. It wouldn’t be so bad if Wild didn’t know the dangers of this area.

“Okay—where could they have gone now?”Sky wheezes, catching his breath. They’ve been looking around for a while, to the point the group split up just to find the three.

“I don’t—”Wild takes a breath. “I don’t know. Flower doesn’t know the area.”

Sky sighs. He sounds disappointed, and Wild can’t blame him.

“Ready to keep going?”He asks after a while, watching Sky with concern.

“Mhm!”The chosen hero smiles bright and stands up straight.

They find the trio standing in the middle of the woods, having a very intense staring contest with a strange looking black portal. …wait. Black portal?

“What the hell is that?”Wild frowns, turning to the other.

Sky looks a little sheepish. “That…is the way we’ve been travelling between the timeline! Um…guys! Back up a little bit?”He yells, stepping closer.

Flower turns to look at them.

They’re holding Four’s hand tight, not seeming to be keen on the idea of letting go.

“Get the others,”Four states bluntly, keeping a hold of Flower’s hand. Wild can’t tell who’s being comforted by the action.

“Where’s Wolfie when you need him?”Wind complains, dramatically crossing his arms and jutting his bottom lip out into a pout. It turns into a grin when Flower laughs at the action.

“I can find the others. Sky, can you..?”

“I’ll stay with them,”Sky nods quickly and lets Wild run off.

He turns to look at the three, and lets out a sigh as he wanders closer to them. “Why’d you three run off, then?”

“We were exploring,”Four informs with a loose shrug. “We were being careful. Then we came across this and didn’t know what to do, and then you and Wild showed up.”

Wind nods along. “We were tellin Flower about our adventures, too!”

“They’re really cool,,”They mumble, leaning against Four. Four seems to welcome it. Sky thinks its sweet.

It takes Wild another long while for him to gather the others and bring them to the portal. “Sorry, that took forever.”He hums once they get back.

Flower doesn’t make a beeline for him this time. Instead; “This thingy makes me feel weird. What is it?”

“Oh…the portal? We’re not sure what it is. Or where, exactly, it goes.”

“Woah…”Flower mumbles, and stares at the portal with curiosity. Wild does not like that.

“Hey, Flower,”Wild walks closer and kneels down. “I have to go with them now, okay? Do you know the way back to Hateno?”

They look confused, and then hurt. “You’re leaving me..?” Shit. Shit, they look like they’re about to cry.

“Uhhhhh, only—only for a little while!”He panics, trying to calm the child down. “I won’t be gone for long.”

“But—”Flower sniffles. “You said you’d help me. How can you help if you’re not—if you’re not here? I dunno anyone here..”

“You know Zelda?”Wild offers. Please let this convince him.

“I don’t like her,”They mumble, quiet. “I want to stay with you.”

“It’s—It’s dangerous, Flower..” Flower deflates. Doesn’t argue it again. Wild hates it, just a bit. They look so dejected.

It seems to be them agreeing to stay, though. He pats them on the head as he stands back up.

“Follow the path, okay? It’ll take you back.”He sighs, facing the portal again. Man, this thing is creepy, but he watches Time go through it and follows.

He really, really, should have waited and went through last. And also, Four and Wind are assholes.

You sat on the couch, having put the dinner you cooked in the microwave as you waited tiredly. Your girlfriend was coming home, so you wanted her to have a warm welcome! She'd been gone a while, so you wanted to make sure she felt welcomed!

You almost started to doze off before you perked up, hearing the sound of a pair of familiar keys turning in the door's lock. The door opened and your girlfriend stepped in. "Honey, I'm-" She was cut off as you tackle-hugged her.

"Oh! Hello! How long have you been waiting for me, love?" She asked, laughing softly.

"Since you texted!" You smiled tiredly. The smell of dinner wafted through your shared apartment and Shining Glitter Cookie sighed in relief.

"Mmm....something smells good...what'd ya make?" She asked, picking you up and carrying you into the dining room with her.

"Your favorite! Hot Jelly Stew with bubbly boba to drink!" You smiled. "The food is in the microwave, the drinks are in the fridge!"

Shining Glitter set you down in your typical seat, going to grab your dinner. "Yours is the one without the pearls, I'm guessing?" She asked.

"Mhm, you know me! It's a sensory sensation I can never really handle, ha ha..." She dropped your dinner off, kissing the top of your head.

"That's okay! I know it isn't something everyone can handle!" She giggled. The two of you ate dinner together, occasionally making small talk, which was mostly just you asking how your girlfriend's tour went.

After dinner, she carried you into your shared bedroom, you giggling and basically infodumping about how much you loved your girlfriend's music and how if and when you got married, you wanted to see if the music played could be hers.

Eventually, it got to be bedtime, but you were still going. Shining Glitter loved you, but she wanted sleep, so she just sorta...pulled you under the covers, singing softly to get you to calm down, eventually getting you to calm down enough to fall asleep.

"Goodnight, love~" And she kissed the top of your head, falling asleep with you.

oh lord this might be a rant of a post but here we go! (Disclaimer! I am a very shitty writer, juno is probably under the category of a MarySue, and this is just a for funisies character!)

Okay so let's start at the very beginning, Junos mother, Annabella valentine had a "strange" encounter with a mysterious man in the woods one day, becuase who wouldn't want to get down and dirty with a 7'3 guy with horns when your in loveless marriage to a preacher? Anyway she ended up getting pregnant and 9 months later out pops a little baby girl, Juno orchid valentine (yeah her mom was SOOO creative with her name guys (I say as if I didn't name her) )). Around 4 years later, Annabella is "mysteriously" drowned in the lake near the community church! Leaving poor little 4 year old juno in the care of her father, Issac Jr valentine. And let's just say... Issac isn't exactly the best father... or a decent one at that. Juno was mainly neglected in her childhood or was beaten if Issac deemed her indeed of a punishment, even if she had done no wrong. And no one believed little juno that her daddy, the kind hearted preacher of the Arlen gerogia church! She didn't have nuch friends in her school years either, the kids at her school assumed that she was tattle tail and was stuck up all because she was the preachers kid, but she didn't mind. She preferred being alone, all she needs is a good book to keep her company (NERD). A little later on in life, around 12, juno met this weird skinny kid at church camp one summer, a tall scraggly boy named Jonathan kenny-crane. They ended up creating a bond with one another over their shared trauma and love for reading. They would start hanging out in secret after that summer, exploring abandoned buildings and going to the library together. ANOTHER TIME SKIP WOW WEE!! At 17 Juno ran away from her home and father, leaving for gotham city. For awhile juno simply worked as a body guard,finding she had a strange amount of natural strength. But body guarding didn't pay that well, now did it? Juno was offered a job at the age of 20, kill a rival mafia boss for someone and receive 2 thousands dollar in cold hard cash. This kicked off her career as an assassin for hire. Juno slowly built a name for herself over 8 years in the mercenary community, she was surprisingly good at what she did, atleast for an amateur. She ended up catching the attention of slade wilson, who offered to train her. She trained under him for a few years before going back to working as an assassin. By that time she was 32.
