Here are some headcanons I have of TV shows the fd3 characters would like (all matching canon timeline)

- the Ashes: One Tree Hill & Beverly Hills 90210

- Lewis: is often too busy with the gym and practice to watch TV, but will always watch Fresh Prince reruns

- Erin: Buffy, Charmed, Daria

-Ian: prefers watching movies to TV, but will watch those fucked up cartoons that were around in that era

-Perry: Dawsons Creek

- Julie: One Tree Hill is her life. She wants to be Brooke so bad

-Kevin: never grew out of watching cartoons. Watches stuff like The Simpsons, Futurama and Beavis and Butthead

Wendy: doesn't watch much TV because Julie is always watching it, but she does enjoy Gilmore Girls

I haven’t watched a single show mentioned (except Daria) but canon, canon, canon!

MC and Thirteen who doesn't want to do her job as a reaper, so when MC's time comes around they start travelling the world instead.

Another reaper finds them sipping drinks out of coconuts on the beach and asks what they're doing. "We just got a bit lost," Thirteen claims. "My legs hurt so we're taking a break. Relax, I'll properly collect their soul in a little bit."

Ok. Fifty years later the same reaper comes across MC and Thirteen taking selfies in a shopping mall.

Thirteen sticks up for MC once more. "We got lost again. No, don't worry about it. I don't tell you how to do your job, so scram and just let me do mine."

Another hundred years ago by. The same reaper shakes their head and tries to ignore the two familiar faces playing hide and seek around the seating area of a major music festival.

So I think The Last Unicorn is a veritable buffet of Baldur's Gate comparisons for Astarion (Where were you when I was new? / But I do, I regret) but one I haven't seen considered is the parallels between Ascended Astarion and King Haggard.

Consider a hundred years from now, a thousand years from now, what he will become when the wounds aren't fresh enough to sting. A bitter old man collecting thralls just to look at them, to have them, to own them, slowly becoming more isolated and hiding away in the darkest corners of his palace as he realises nothing makes him happy, not even sunlight. Quietly becoming resigned to it all, waiting for his castle to crumble around him and fall into the sea.

i couldnt choose a favourite so i wrote out like ten but that was too many so i've limited myself to five and now they're written down half of them are more like fic premises than headcanons BUT

phoenix was genuinely in love with kristoph at some point. it was near the beginning, before he realised any of the lies. and it took him so long to really pursue that nagging suspicious he had because every time he woke up to kristoph's sleeping, vunerable face, he felt sick to his stomach for doubting him.

and in turn kristoph was genuinely in love with phoenix too, but it was further along into the 7yg and he couldn't admit it to himself, so it manifested as a twisted posessiveness and a desire to control. he must keep phoenix under his control or else phoenix will leave just like how everyone else does.

phoenix is popular with the single mothers (and some of the dads) on the PTA at trucy's school and kristoph is Not Happy about it. he starts attending parent-teacher evenings with phoenix just to loop his arm in the crook of phoenix's elbow to not-so-subtly ward off anyone who so much as looks at his not-boyfriend

one december trucy sets up mistletoe in the doorway to trap phoenix and kristoph underneath. phoenix laughs a bit and pulls kristoph in by his waist for a brief kiss. it's soft and sweet and strangely romantic, far from the first kiss they've shared but it's the first time theyve kissed in front of trucy. in a way it almost feels like confirmation of his place in their family and he doesnt know how to feel about that. trucy, watching him closely, cant tell how hes feeling either, but she doesnt pick up on any annoyance or disgust.

phoenix gets back into drawing during the 7yg, he sits down with a couple of hb pencils and a few sheets of printer paper and starts idly sketching the people around him. one day kristoph sees him sketching and says he didnt know phoenix could draw (a lie, hes dug into every nook and cranny of wright's history) and asks to see. he's prepared to glance at the page and say something about how phoenix has a wonderful talent but he can tell his real calling was the courtroom (a jab at his artistic skills and at the disbarrment).

instead he's struck silent for a moment. the pages are filled with sketches of trucy, maya, larry, staff at the borscht bowl... and kristoph. candid sketches of kristoph working, tucking his hair behind his ear, even smiling. they're far from realistic but they contain so much character. is that what phoenix thinks he looks like? has anyone else looked at kristoph and seen this much humanity?

people should give me more excuses to talk about krisnix im so full of thoughts and feelings

got to see the total eclipse in person!!! heres some art commemorating that! cuz getting to watch 2 celestial bodies make out sloppy style was inspiring what can i say, also it was just rlly beautiful and cool and amazing to get to see ghg- but also! its like?? basically the moon finally getting the suns undivided attention... and thats got some vibes to it,, some energies... that i could not ignore lol.

Anyone give a shit about my Kirby-Steven Universe AU I developed for 3 seconds last year?

Broader Plot Synopsis:

Midnight Agate (Meta Knight) was a young quartz assigned to watch over the colonization efforts on Popstar with a small brigade of Rubies (The Meta-Knights). While waiting for things to truly get started, she let her sentimentality get the best of her and got to know the natives rather than killing them as were her orders. Seeing as it was a backwater planet and mission no one was watching carefully, she thought things would be fine.

While she was playing at being a knight for King Dedede (King Dedede) an undercooked Rose Quartz (Kirby) popped out, and caused some Kirby style antics for them (KDL, Adv, RoMK plots). Agate attempted to be subtle about what Quartzby's existence meant - not wanting to let on to her king friend she was an alien sent to blow up the planet - but in her continued waffling she began to watch the quartz take a liking to the planet just as she had, and started doubting the entire thing.

Eventually, after defusing the silly rivalry between her and Dedede, she began to work on deactivating gem structures (all those Ancient Artifacts we know in canon) and halting the colonization process, but accidentally alerted homeworld authorities whom then proceeded to send Halcan Quartz (Galacta Knight) when it was obvious things were a mess.

That's about as far as I got with solid ideas, but I have more fun disjointed ones. Like Midnight Agate falling in line with Halcan Quartz for a while out of pure fear and obedient instinct before eventually confronting her with the help of Quartzby and her rubies. And from there Halcan Quartz's own sentimentality gets tapped into for a redemption arc.

And from THERE the equivalent to the Diamonds in the would be Zero - a white Diamond I would suppose. I also had lots of fun ideas expanding on Agate and Halcan Quartz's connections to their planets (especially the latter to Halcandra CAUSE I LOVE HALCANDRA).

I really like how both Kirby and SU use their science-fantasy themes to tell stories about enjoying the little things and how you can kinda redeem almost anyone by tapping into that universal humanity. Or atleast I've always read the text of SU into the subtext of Kirby just cause the latter informed my media tastes so much.

I'd def fuck with this AU again if I have another SU phase. But I'm literally just talking about this cause I'm overwhelmed by how much Kirby stuff I have ideas for and needed to fart SOMETHNIG out.

Halsin's mom called him "arivae" (sunlight - also very close to "aravae" which is like great joy), because he was a generally happy elfling and was already smiling soon after he was born - a ray of sunshine, if you will.

His father - strange of him, being the more serious of the two - would reach back on particularly infantile terms like "nìnì" (little one), or shorten his name to "tō" (baby or little) when in an affectionate mood. The irony is not lost on him - especially when he starts hitting his growth spurt around 15, and it's partially a tongue in cheek term of endearment in that way. But it's more because...he was his youngest son - his little guy, you know? He will always be that, no matter how big he gets.

(And it does mean more when you think that, as Halsin started growing, even being the same age as his peers and the same learning and maturity level, you would occasionally have the mistaken assumption that he was older - more grown up; that there was an expectation for him to be. But his father used to motion to his chest and temple and casually remark that he was still little where it mattered.)
