Tumblr media
It has been a fortnight since my interaction with Rukan, I had grown enamoured with him and for some unknown reason, I had begun sketching his likeness into my journals. His face was striking and angular, softened by gentle cerulean eyes that contrasted with his lean, muscular physique. He carried a powerful yet elusive aura; each movement hinting at immense strength. Tattoos adorned his left forearm and calf, symbols of pride, heritage and victory. His 2c locks were gathered into a high ponytail, and his kuru was elegantly decorated with golden pearls. It was like Eywa had woven him with her bare hands…
I think back to how we met and the Akula attack flashes in my mind; I have yet to broach the incident to Norm and Max, they had a lot of things on their plate and considering they were in the process of doing me a large favour and I didn’t want them to worry and cease my operations. I was once again off with the fairies, mindlessly doing data entries when my tablet blared out, this time it was Max’s contact.
I scrambled along the floor in my office chair, my smile wide as I awaited the news.
“(Y/N) great news, the Metkayina cells have proved compatible with life and with your DNA, we can now proceed into the gestation stage,” Max says excitedly grinning ear to ear as I gasp and nearly fall backwards.
“You serious?! Like actually – oh my Eywa I can’t believe it. I’m getting my avatar!”
“Yes (Y/n), we are serious” Norm pipes in from behind the camera, he rounds the corner holding a capped vial in his hands and inside it floats tiny eggs in some fluid. “See for yourself.”
I press my face practically into the screen trying to see the beginning of my new life, I can’t help but shed a tear at finally having the chance to experience Pandora through new eyes. The scientists grin at my joy before speaking up.
“Don’t get too hasty now… It will still take 2 years before you can pilot this thing… even with our new tech advances shortening the gestation period from 5 years.”
“I know, I know… but I can’t help but get excited about being able to dive deeper and to stay out longer, I can connect to the flora and fauna on a whole new level.” My mind flashed with visions of my future. I couldn’t help but sigh at all the possibilities. “I’ll be sure to visit the outpost in a couple of months and see the progress, I can’t wait.”
They laugh “Your excitement is infectious, we also can’t wait to see how the Metkayina cells develop, we assume it will be drastically different from Omaticaya fetus development. This is huge (Y/n), our first Metkayina avatar!” They grin before you hear some other scientists calling for them. “Ok, we’ve got to start the procedure, see you in a couple of months hey?”
“You can count on it!” I grin as my hands can’t stop trembling in excitement. The call ended and I took a walk on the shore to process this life-changing news.
I feel the sand between my bare toes and gaze across the lapping waves, the coos of Ilu and cries of Skimwing’s echo throughout the eclipse, I’m excited at the prospect of riding them one day, as the calm winds bristle against my flesh, I begin to think of everything that led me to this point.
When I took on this contract, I knew the chances of returning home to my family were slim. The post was for a couple of years but with the war and my deep love for Pandora and its inhabitants I couldn’t in my right mind get aboard the shuttle and leave this behind. I knew my purpose was not fulfilled. My parents knew I may not return. Earth was dying. Plain and simple. They wanted me to live a life worth living. Not living on a polluted rock corrupted by a couple of sick governing powers and companies.
Riddled with melancholy, I drew the photo taken moments before my deployment. My mother hugged my side affectionately and my father bore a reserved smile with a single hand on my shoulder. I knew they were pained to let me go but it was something I had to do for humanity, yet I couldn’t help but think it was already too late for Earth and all our efforts were in vain.
The water was crisp, and a swim couldn’t hurt, right? I jogged back into my home and pulled on my wetsuit leaving my tablet, just holstering my switchblade for emergencies and sinking myself into the depths.
The outside world was deafened as I submerged, I felt like I belonged here, even if I was just an alien. I had no goal in mind I just swam absorbing my surroundings, schools of fish swerved around me and I weaved through sea anemones. I reached a sandy clearing when I spotted a fishing net caught between some rocks, I looked up the connecting line to see a canoe’s shadow and the line being tugged, the line went slack before a Metkayina dives down to investigate the issue. To my surprise I recognised it at Rukan; I held the netting trying to free it when I felt finned hands grab my own. I look behind me to see Rukan as he tugs the net free, letting it float.
‘Hello tawtute, you found my lunch I see’ Rukan signs with a smile.
‘Happy to see me?’ I gesture back my smile appearing. ‘I thought your role was a patroller?’ I question.
‘Metkayina have many roles, today I hunt.’ He states before gathering the net with various small fish inside and he then slowly drags the netting to the surface pulling them onto his canoe and saying a prayer as the fish perish.
I tread water as I mutter my prayer. Rukan glances in my direction and smiles. “You seem to know how to treat Eywa’s children, I’m happy. Most tawtute do not recognise the animal's sacrifice for our meals.”
“I was taught well by the Omaticaya,” I speak fondness for Grace, Tsu’tey and Neytiri’s teachings in my early days evident in my tone.
“Why aren’t you still with them? you are far from their village.” Rukan asks, tilting his head.
I gesture around me at the vast sea. “My passion is the sea, back on Earth and now here on Pandora, I feel as if this is where I belong. Studying marine life is what I was born to do” He nods in understanding.
“I see, you respect our waters and apologised for entering our protected zones; I will keep you a secret from our leaders. But if I catch you disrespecting us or our ocean you will be on the fatal end of my spear.”
I mock salute “Clear as water~,” I say and holding my five-fingered hand over my heart “I swear on Eywa and my life in protecting and respecting these waves”
“Good. I need to head back now, we are preparing a feast. Stay safe.” Rukan nods before paddling the canoe back to the village, I stay treading momentarily as I watch his figure disappear amongst the sea foam, a smile never leaving my lips.
I dive back underwater and something glinting on the seabed catches my eye, a beautifully crafted beaded string. A song cord. Rukan’s song cord. I snatch it up before frantically boosting myself up trying to spot him but alas he was already gone. I sigh in frustration and admire each shell and pearl weaved together. I held it tightly as I returned home. I hope to see Rukan soon so I can return it to him.
POV Rukan
Upon the second meeting of the tawtute I couldn’t help but admire her passion for our seas. She was the first of her kind I have met, and she tears down all the stories that were spread from the other tribes and our merchants. Tawtute were monsters, weren’t they? Demons who took on the skins of our brothers and sisters and killed and destroyed everything they touched? So why is she so kind, that’s a mystery to me.
Eventually, the village comes into view, and I dock, other fishermen come to my aid to prepare the fish for tonight’s feast as the older adults come to pat my back ‘well done’. After completing my iknimaya all I wanted was to fulfil my duties in protecting our reef, including eliminating threats like the tawtute. Engrossed in the hustle and bustle of preparations thoughts of the girl left me. I was delegated to hang decorations. Carefully climbing on roofs to install hanging lights I was tightening the slack before a female voice spooked me from below.
“Hey Ru!” Another Metkayina female calls to me. “Here are some more woven lights.” She says waving them above her head to get my attention.
“Right with you!” I call down before unceremoniously sliding down and stumbling on my feet. She giggles covering her mouth, her tail swishing gently behind her.
“Here you go, pretty boy~” She coos, slapping me affectionately on the shoulder. My face flushes as I cough and spin back around with the lights coiled over my arm.
“Uh, thanks Säyani” I deflect before scaling the roof again.
“Alright – suit yourself then Ru” She offhandedly replies spinning on her heels and diving into the reef.
Once she’s out of earshot, I shiver and dust off the remnants of her touch. I knew what she was doing but didn’t know how to let her down easily. I may be of age, but I wasn’t interested in her as a mate. Yes, she was conventionally attractive, but she was just off-putting to me, I just couldn’t place my finger on it.
Wrapping up with decorating, the eclipse engulfed the skies, and a grand bonfire was lit, food was presented in large leaves and shells and some members began singing. Sitting near my parents we shared dishes and debriefed on recent events. Laughter and smiles took over the clan. A horn blew and we all fell silent and looked at our clan leader Tonowari.
“What a wonderful eclipse this is, I’m hoping all are enjoying the festivities and dishes prepared by our great hunters and gatherers. Tonight, we gather under Eywa’s gaze to honour the gifts of the sea, to give thanks for the harvest that sustains us, and to remember the ancestors whose spirits move with us through these waters.
Each year, the ocean blesses us, and we renew our promise to her. This feast is a promise that we honour, protect, and respect all life within our waters and that we stand together as one, tied through Eywa’s everlasting love and wisdom.
In times past, we faced storms that tested our resolve. Yet always, we rose together, finding courage not only in our hearts but in our brothers and sisters. Tonight, we celebrate as a village — a family bound through unity, resilience, and the trust we place in one another.” Tonowari booms a hand gesturing to all of us. “Enjoy my people”
Cheers and clacking of wooden cups echo into the night and everyone digs in. My gaze wanders past the reef in the direction of the tawtute’s marui. That’s when I spot it, the beginnings of a storm cell. It’s like a stone drops into my stomach at the realization of her impending doom. I glance at my parents as they talk with other clan members before I silently slink out of the gathering to bond with my skimwing, speeding off to warn her to evacuate.

Double the Love | Part One
Double the Love masterlist
Simon "Ghost" Riley x Johnny "Soap" MacTavish x female civilian!OC Word Count: 1.2k Series warnings (may update between chapters): 18+, Minors DNI, angst, death, mentions of violence, injury description, eventual explicit sexual content, polyamory, M/M/F, FMC is bad at feelings
How it all started
Tumblr media
I wake up to the first knock.
The apartment is warm, despite the fact that it's the second month into winter, and quiet. Peaceful, even. Winnie is probably already at work. The café doesn't need me for at least another hour.
I turn my head to look at the clock on the nightstand. 8 a.m. I can't think of a single reason why someone would be knocking here so early, so I roll over and try to go back to sleep, thinking that I might've just imagined it. Last night was a long one. I couldn't fall asleep, so I stayed awake watching endless reruns of Friends until - at 3 a.m. - I finally knocked out.
It's times like these, when the insomnia kicks in and I feel completely alone, when I can't wait for Alex to be home.
Alex, my heroic older brother. The SAS soldier always on some mission or other to save the world. He's on another top secret op at the moment, but last time we spoke he said that it looked like they'd be home at the end of the month. The new unit he's been assigned to have been keeping him occupied. He couldn't tell me much on the call, but it sounds like they've welcomed him into the fold with open arms, just like all the other units he's worked with in the past. That and he's still worried about me - something that he's been in a perpetual state of since the dawn of time.
Hopefully he'll be home soon though.
Just as my eyes start to close, there's another knock at the door. This one's more persistent.
Definitely not in my imagination.
I throw the covers to the side, adjusting the hem of the heavy knitted sweater I fell asleep in to make sure that it's people-appropriate, and stepping into my slippers as I make a beeline for the door. I drag my feet out of my bedroom and down the hallway towards the front door.
When I open it, my heart drops into the pit of my stomach.
There's a tall man with light brown hair and a beanie standing out in the hallway. His dark eyes are tired but kind, a thick scruffy beard covering his jawline as he stands there, hands behind his back, feet shoulder-width apart. He takes one look at my slight frame, half-hidden behind the door and closes his eyes, shaking his head with a quiet, "Bloody fucking hell."
I tilt my head to one side, confused. I'm just about to ask him if I know him when he says, "Are you Talia Keller? Alex's sister?"
Just like that, my heart starts thundering inside my ribcage. I reach out to put a hand on the doorframe, knowing that it's all I can do to stop my knees from buckling.
The stranger on my doorstep meets my eyes once again and I can see it.
"Please...no-"
He shakes his head, those kind eyes refusing to shy away from my tear-filled gaze. "It is with deep regret and my upmost sympathy that I am here to inform you of the death of your brother, Operations Officer Alex Keller. He died on active duty, contributing to a rescue mission that, because of his sacrifice, saved a lot of lives." I choke on a sob. "I am so very sorry for your loss."
My vision blurs and the sound that leaves my mouth is horrible. It's a sob, so loud and violent that I almost can't believe I made it. "No," I whimper.
"May I come inside?" the stranger asks, nodding past me at the empty apartment. His hands aren't behind his back now. They're in front of him, palms open like he's placating a wounded animal.
My own sobbing eclipses any other noise in the hallway as I take a few shaky steps back, giving him access to the doorway. He walks inside slowly, like he's giving me time to take the unspoken invitation back. I don't.
I wrap my arms around myself, trying to keep myself from falling apart. But my brother is dead. My sweet, perfect brother who I'll never see again.
"I- oh god, I'm going to be sick," I manage to choke out, stumbling back until I hit the side of my armchair.
The stranger swoops in then, gently easing me down onto the sofa. I shouldn't let him - shouldn't have let this man into my home. He could be anyone. But he spoke about Alex with the reverence of someone who knew him personally. He must of to be here now, telling me this awful, fucked up news.
I tip forward, my head finding my hands as I cradle myself, my whole body shaking with the effort of not crumbling to the ground.
Alex was all I had left. We were orphans: each other's only living relatives. Now I'm alone.
"Is there anyone I could call for you?" the man asks, his gravelly voice even softer than it was to begin with. I hate his sympathy with a passion, but I don't have the energy to call him on it. "You shouldn't be alone at a time like this. Alex told me that the two of you were very close."
The words bring a fresh wave of pain ripping straight through my heart.
His question reminds me of Winnie. She's already made enough sacrifices for me; I can't pull her away from her work. I don't know what to do. There's no one else I can call. It was Alex and Winnie. Winnie and Alex. No one else.
"Alex was... he was all I had." The words both sound and feel pathetic as they leave my mouth. I lift my head and see that he's watching me, dark eyes far from judgemental. "I can't- I don't know what..."
"Look," he says softly, one large paw of a hand coming to rest on my upper arm, his warmth radiating through the thick cable-knit. "Take a deep breath for me. He wouldn't want this for you."
We sit there for a while as I calm myself down, getting through the worst of hyperventilating. Slowly, the tears come to a weak ebb. A numbness fills me; a disbelief that he's truly gone.
"I know that this is probably the last thing on your mind right now, but we had him cremated. It was written in his file that that's what he wanted. We'll send the ashes and his dog tags to you as per his request." He shifts in the armchair. I can't help but notice just how haunted he looks as he meets my gaze. "My name is Captain Price, but you can call me John. I was your brother's unit commander. You might not want to talk to me right now - might blame me even - and I understand that, but I'll leave my personal phone number here with you. If you ever need anything, anything at all, please call me."
I nod softly, rubbing my knuckles along the undersides of my eyes. "Thank you, John."
He nods once then stands up, the muscles of his thighs straining against the sandy-khaki material of his cargos. Instead of heading straight for the door, he walks across to the desk, opening Winnie's smiley face notepad and writing a number down on the first blank page. His number.
I don't look up when he leaves. The door closes with a soft click and then - just like Alex - he's gone.
Tumblr media
a/n: hey guys! hope y'all liked part one. don't worry - you'll meet the guys very soon... sorry if this part was a little bit boring, just want to set the scene before all the good stuff happens 🙃 - see ya soon, lapetitelapin

meet me in the city
word count: 2041
warnings: suggestive themes
featuring ... cecil ryen, and @tiredassmage's tyr deckard
(this was written for the oc kiss week prompt, "first")
In the shadow of the Imperial Citadel on Dromund Kaas, ex-Cipher operative Cecil Ryen decides to be reckless. (cross-posted from AO3)
In the long, intervening decades since his sudden and unexpected departure from his homeworld, Cecil Ryen forgot how unique Dromund Kaas was. The qualities that stood in stark relief against any other world he visited: Ziost, Hutta, Alderaan, even Corellia, once, to name a few. None—save, perhaps, Tatooine—was quite so determined to slaughter its inhabitants.
Its murderous intentions were ubiquitous. Expansive, fast-growing jungle untamable by any industrial-strength pesticide or controlled burning. Fauna and flora both had at least three to five ways of killing the unprepared. Home to an ancient Empire that desired ultimate victory over its millennia-long adversaries and the Sith's mortal enemies.
What shocked Cecil the most was the scent that clung to his nostrils even as he made his way down the interior corridor of the hotel. Charged energy, ozone, a crack of lightning caught within a held breath. At any moment, even down to an infinitesimal fraction of time, a storm could erupt upon Dromund Kaas.
Cecil lived that way all of his life, until the lightning finally struck. He was a cautious, reserved sort. Kept his head down, as he was told. Studied hard, often at the expense of his health, as he was told. He graduated valedictorian and was set for a career in the Imperial military when those lofty expectations of being promoted to Moff and serving the Dark Council were unceremoniously shattered by an offer from Imperial Intelligence.
He did everything as ordered, and he did them well. Exemplary, if he dared to say so.
No good deed goes unpunished.
The younger man in front of him—alright, not quite in front, more slightly leading at his left—came to a standstill, and Cecil withdrew from his thoughts.
Dromund Kaas seemed the fitting sort of place to find a man like Cipher Nine.
Cecil watched through narrowed lashes as Nine deftly flicked the keycard from his wallet. Despite the air having been cleared about their respective intentions, old habits die hard, and his gaze remained on Nine's nimble hand as it returned the card to its original place and the door whooshed open.
A small smile creased an aging, but still youthful face, crinkling gray eyes. Nine elegantly swept his hand towards the doorway. His black gloves briefly eclipsed the form of his fingers against the backdrop of the darkness within. "After you?"
In the feverish research Cecil threw himself into after he found Lucia left abandoned and cold on that expensive and hideous rug she insisted on buying a good ten years back, skin ghost-pale and lips stained with bloody bile, Cipher Nine seemed twice the agent he'd ever been on paper. Stories filtered through a dozen channels that found their way to Nar Shaddaa about terrorism in the Empire, about great machines set upon their crown jewel of a capital, and ridiculous rumors of a secret organization pulling the strings of the galaxy finally brought low. Of what he could make of the massacred and deprecated records, much of those odd stories inevitably led back to Nine.
It was why Cecil knew it was by intention that his wife was left on display, and had died in a gruesome and evidently painful manner.
Cecil glanced at Nine's hand, still hanging awkwardly in the air, before he crossed the threshold ahead of him.
He felt blindly along the wall and found the switch. Soft, golden light flooded the room, illuminating Nine's figure as he followed him in. Cecil cast a wide net of the room. It was impeccably neat, characteristic of the accommodations this close to the central district. He didn't need to touch the emerald green sheets fitted to the king-sized bed to know they were Old Ziosti silk. The ornate bed frame was of a dark mahogany embellished with solid gold trim. An intricately patterned, deep red rug bisected the main area of the suite.
Combining all of the furniture of the room, the monetary cost likely approached, if not surpassed, a year's salary of what he earned back in the day in service to Intelligence.
"You needn't go to all this trouble," Cecil said. It finally dawned on him just how ridiculous—and idiotically reckless—this whole situation was. He was standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the assassin who made him a widower. He'd taken Nine on his word simply because the offered explanation made sense; Lucia was long overdue for it, for all she had done to their son.
Nine smiled; a sliver of teeth peeked at the corners. "This was their only vacancy, and I didn't see a reason to waste time looking for a cheaper room." He ducked his head as he casually worked off his gloves. Blond strands curtained his eyes from view.
Cecil scoffed. He was not the only idiot in Kaas City, then. He still thought he was chief among them.
"Eager, are you?" There was still a sensible voice somewhere inside the recesses of his mind banging on the walls, begging him to come to his senses. Funny, how that voice had been the loudest of them all only days ago, until it was usurped by a voracious hunger for the hunt, for the Game. The one he forfeited some four decades ago. Abandoned his cards and left the table in a storm. Lightning struck, and he would not be hit twice. "They say patience is a virtue."
Cecil turned fully in Nine's direction, only to find the man had come closer. A step just out of the invisible boundary Cecil would consider personal space. He couldn't tell if Nine was doing him a courtesy, or testing him.
"I'm afraid that's never been my strength," Nine said, still smiling so easily. A few hours ago, Cecil had the man trapped against the wall of a tucked-away alley, vibroblade held lightly against the exposed, vulnerable flesh of his neck. It wouldn't have been much to end him. Cecil had wanted to try it. How would the infamous Cipher Nine find his way out of the impossible odds this time?
Cecil cocked his head. On paper, Cipher Nine was twice the agent he ever was. The man standing before him, however, was an enigma.
"It's a miracle you've survived this long." Nine chuckled, like it was a compliment. For some ineffable reason, this infuriated him.
In the moment of awareness after Cecil gripped Nine by the forearms and pinned him to the nearest wall, he realized anger wasn't quite the emotion he was looking for.
Nine looked up at him. No fear lay there, nothing that could even be described as trepidation. Curiosity, then, as gray eyes—in the shadow of Cecil's body blocking out the light of the room, they were not dissimilar to a passably pleasant Dromund Kaas day—examined his face. Whatever he found must've pleased him. Nine's smile widened to show more of his teeth, canines pressing slightly into his bottom lip.
"You can admit that you're curious."
Cecil's jaw jumped. He returned to Nine's eyes. "There's no mystery. Luck and bullheadedness go a long way."
Nine laughed. He tilted his head back far enough that it kissed the wall behind him and laughed. Cecil's face fell into a pout. He'd missed something.
Crow's feet jumped out at the corners of Nine's eyes as they squeezed shut. Smile lines dimpled at the creases of his mouth. Then his eyes opened again, though that foolish smile remained stubbornly in place.
Then, stranger yet, the man's features softened entirely. Cecil went stiff as Nine's fingers gingerly held the lapels of his jacket. "That's not what I meant."
An awful scratching emanated from the dank, shadowed halls of the back of his mind, like a corrupted audio file playing abruptly from a defunct speaker. That sensible man he was mere days ago screamed and cursed and kicked the machine.
His gaze, however, fell back to Nine's mouth. Noted the difference in shade between his sun-kissed skin and his lips. Examined the particular shape of his teeth that were pressing into pink flesh. All of this belonging to a man who accomplished more than Cecil could've ever imagined possible from a Cipher agent. Principally, that he was still alive at all. A relic, a ghost out of time, outlasting the masters that gave him his designation and purpose.
Eager didn't come close to describing the way Nine was looking back at him.
Cecil wished he could split his consciousness in twain and hand the wheel over to the sensible part—the passive husband, who maneuvered quietly all of these years, who left the table when the hand dealt to him ensured he'd lose the game, who finally figured out the only way to actually win was to not play at all.
Nine tilted his head. The motion reminded Cecil of a dog impatiently waiting for its owner to throw the stick. His hold slackened. "If you've changed your mind -"
Forcibly, Cipher Three took the wheel.
Damn the game, and the rules, and keeping his head down, and being careful, and all of the things that guaranteed survival and not much else. The smart thing, Cipher Three knew, would be to leave now that his mission was complete, or even to reach for his blade and tie up one last loose end.
Damn the smart thing, and throw the damn stick.
Cecil kissed him. A harsh, abrupt thing like a vicious right hook. He was woefully out of practice. Lucia hadn't wanted a thing from him—physically, at least—in years. Infidelity was the least of her crimes. And it caught Nine off-guard, if only for a moment.
Nine pulled him closer insistently. One of Cecil's hands left his arm to brace itself on the wall next to Nine's head. Clumsily, like a teenager, Cecil kissed him and Nine chuckled against his mouth. He tasted sharply of the whiskey that Cecil bought him back at the bar. The least he could do, for no doubt giving the man a heart attack.
Hot breath fanned across his face as they parted only just. Already, Nine was chuckling again. His thumb affectionately teased the corner of Cecil's lapel. His free palm fit delicately along the curve of his neck. "You had me worried," Nine said. It sounded genuine. "Not that I would've minded, but the bill for this room was rather steep."
Cecil grumbled gruffly in reply, though it conveyed no real meaning. He surveyed the younger man's face, flushed pink by their exchange. Where the shade had deepened the most, he could make out freckles standing out against his skin. How interesting.
He wondered how far down they went.
(The sensible Cecil Ryen was, at present, bound and gagged and stuffed in a broom closet in the basement of his own mind. Cipher Three, on the other hand, was insatiably eager to find out.)
Cecil's hands snaked down to Nine's waist, then his hips. He surely hoped that Nine wasn't any heavier than he looked. Nine's gray eyes widened owlishly, and Cecil couldn't help the wicked grin that overtook him at the sight.
"Well, we'd better make your money worth it, then."
On his body's own martial strength and a prayer, Cecil hefted the other man up from the ground by his hips and close to his body. Nine gasped, arms flying instinctively around his shoulders and legs hooking around his waist. Cecil grunted, nearly losing his grip in the adjustment, but found it again just as quickly.
Nine laughed, breathless, flushed scarlet. His face was above Cecil's now, and he looked down at him slightly dazed. He was cautious as he adjusted himself, and nimble fingers toyed idly with the hair at the nape of Cecil's neck. "As impressive as this is, try not to drop me." He paused. "Or throw out your back."
"Shut up, Nine," Cecil growled, with little actual bite, and kissed him again with a fervor entirely unknown to him. Unknown, or merely forgotten. What he most certainly forgot, but was quickly remembering, was how to kiss someone breathless.
With Nine gasping against his mouth and thoroughly distracted from the effort it was taking to keep him from crashing to the floor, Cecil turned them around and made for the bed.
He hoped the frame was as durable as it was extravagant.

Writeblr Intro!!
Figured I should do an introduction for my little crevice of the internet!
I go by HoneyBe, or just Honey, or just Be, or really any other name you feel like! I mostly use she/her, they/them pronouns, but feel free to use whatever. I’m in my 20s and on the AroAce spectrum. I’ve been writing on and off since middle school and I’m hoping to get better at improving my skills, because 12 year old me didn’t care about that but 20 year old me does. I’m hoping to find (or build) a little community to support and help each other with all the writing things. Mostly though, this is just me gaslighting and guilt tripping myself into thinking that by not writing and posting, I will disappoint a nonexistent audience on the internet and not just myself, because apparently that’s the only way my brain will cooperate with me.
Couple other little tidbits about me:
Big fan of the found family trope. Literally will make me squeal at a highly obnoxious volume.
LOVE extensive world building. I want to know every detail of a magic system and how a planet operates. I will listen to you rant about lore for hours, just please let me do the same every once in a while. I am begging, please, I want to tell you all the things.
I’m a little funky photographer trying to start her own little funky photography business, mostly to give myself more time to travel and write and also to get out of my full-time retail job (it’s pure hell and I hate it with an unholy, unmatchable heat of a thousand suns).
I love flowers. They’re just so pretty and as a little honeybee myself, it’s part of my job.
If you mention dragons, you will summon me. I have an obsession with the magical creatures and it knows no bounds.
My Main WIP, or I guess world, is what got me into writing in the first place, and I’ve been messing with it for years. You’d think that would mean I have it decently fleshed out, right? Nope. Unfortunately, The Plot keeps escaping my basement and causing a train wreck. If anyone has better restraint suggestions, let me know. My neighbors are starting to get concerned.
Anywho! The whole world is called The Seven Realms, or as my docs are titled, 7R. I know, so original. She wants to grow up and be a series with little series siblings, all connected in one Big Family. Seriously, I have OCs all over this world’s history and very vague vibes, aka, The Plot, to go along with them. Here are my two main ones.
Eclipse of War Chronicles (EoWC)
Colliding Stars (supposedly book 1)
The Realms are in chaos. A war started nearly a hundred years ago, still raging today, has wrecked both sides. The original intent of the war has long left everyone’s mind; it’s now a fight over territory and unification. The Realms border on complete and totally collapse from the strain of this ongoing blood bath and neither side refuses to admit defeat.
Project Viall, created during the hight of the war, was set on creating superior fighters. After many failed attempts, two successful subjects were created from the genetic experiments.Trained side by side to be flawless and merciless loyal weapons of death, they end up on opposite sides of this vicious war. Both intent on destroying the other, while their partner and closest friend hides behind the mask. Bonds are tested. Secrets revealed. Loyalties made and destroyed as two partners threaten to destroy the entirety of the Realms in their hunt for blood.
Legend of the Ancients (LotA)
The Fallen Dragons (supposedly book 1 of another series)
A brutal war has left the dragons all but extinct. To preserve the species, the remaining dragons have gone into hiding, leaving behind a subspecies borne through the war to fend for themselves: the Tanimoriem. Generations later, no one has seen or heard of a dragon, leaving the Tanimoriem as their only remains to once was. Knowing little of their history and being hunted simply for being kin to dragons, the Tanimoriem learned how to fight viciously and keep to themselves, earning a reputation as vile, unfeeling demons.
Accepting a bounty mission, Ryuk, a seasoned Tanimoriem, gets more than he bargained for. He had been told this was another monster that needed killing. A dangerous beast. Instead he’s met with a child who finds his horns and wings fascinating. Ryuk is forced to look after the child until he can figure out what secretive plot is brewing, because it might just involved the Tanimoriem.
Of course, my goblin brain has given me plenty more snippets and random characters in different times in this world that I have yet to do much with. The world of the Seven Realms has consumed me for years and I have been shown no mercy. I’m planning to do a proper intro post to each WIP and their characters at some point… *puts twenty reminders in phone to write intro posts*
Also!! I will take all asks, tags, and DMs you can throw at me. Literally. Ask me about anything. Books, WIPs, OCs, hell, even ask about my least favorite color or my favorite bread. I do not care. I will answer. I want to be friends will all of you!! I don’t sting! I promise!!

Jealousy -yet another HPMA fic
How this ended up in @as-thra Oc's pov I don't even know...
"Am I doing this right?" Eclipser hummed tilting her head attempting to look into the mirror Aslan was holding brow furrowed in concentration as she operated the small dagger she was using as a stencil in her left hand and her eyeliner in her other. "I think so?" The blonde replied raising a brow, "I can't tell, I think you have hooded eyes. What's with the sudden urge to do eyeliner anyways? You never put make up on your eyes."
"I saw a cute look in a magazine and wanted to recreate it." She shrugged rolling her eyes sticking out her tongue. "The dagger was a creative decision. Wait I think I got it!"
Aslan titled his had moving her jaw around to observe the lines she made. "The lines could be neater but it's your best one yet." He grinned as the Ravenclaw stuck her tongue out at him.
"What's the point, your glasses will hide it anyways, just do the look without the eye liner." The Slytherin hummed using his thumb to wipe away some smudging. Eclipsers eyes meanwhile trailed behind him staring at something in the distance with parted lips.
"Why's he with her again...?" Eclipser scoffed, causing the blonde to turn around and see his sister walking with a certain red head his friend was certainly not in love with, cue the eye rolls.
"Oh, Cass doesn't want to admit it, but she kind of sucks at potions, herbology's her element and all." Aslan shrugged blinking at him thumb, desperately trying to get the black eyeliner stains off with his hand kerchief.
"So she goes to Daniel? She turned him upside down when we were in second year...why's he even helping her." Eclipser muttered causing Aslan's eyes to widen at the odd moment of hostility from the usually diplomatic Ravenclaw.
He followed her gaze across the courtyard where he watched Daniel and Cassandra walk past. Eclipser wasn't the biggest fan of his sister, often being civil and polite, just to keep the peace, yet here his friend was shooting a glare that could perhaps kill the dark lord himself towards Cassandra Vole. "I guess he got over it?" Aslan hummed a small smirk tugging on his face, he knew exactly where Eclipsers glare and frustration had stemmed from even if she wouldn't admit it. Eclipser muttered something along the lines of. "Daniel getting over a grudge, HAH!" But didn't argue against her blonde friend.
"Something the matter Clipsey?" Aslan hummed, as the two packed up their things from the fountain side they were sitting on, he watched as Eclipsers eyes followed the red hue of Daniels hair until he was out of sight, a slight glare on her face. The next time Aslan saw Eclipser, it wasn't with a pleasant mood, the ravenette, had came into the great hall for dinner, for once, and walked over to the Slytherin table plopping down beside him, the staff had basically begun to just let the student spread out as they wished giving up on trying to keep the houses together when it didn't matter.
"Your angry again." Aslan hummed.
"I'm FRUSTERATED." She corrected.
"My apologies."
Eclipser blew hair out of her face, her back against the table as she sat next to him, gripping her pants, a tell tale sign that she wasn't happy.
"Weren't you supposed to sneak out out with Daniel early to see the moon calves?" Was the wrong thing to say, as he watched his dear friend begin to rant.
"You'd think wouldn't you, our monthly schedule but nOoOoO, he has to go to the green houses with Cassandra!" She huffed. "The greenhouses! Are you kidding me? Cassandra needing help with herbology? I've seen her roses, I'll be the first to admit, I've wanted to buy one of her, but he could at least make a better lie if he's ditching me for her." She began to pout crossing her arms.
"You sure your not Jealous?" Aslan, asked tossing her a chocolate crossing.
"Very..." Aslan should have expected Eclipser to do something stupid, as smart as his dear Ravenclaw friend was, she was also the queen of dumb ideas. Thus, he watched as Eclipser walked over to Colby and the two left the great hall, for what he assumed was to see the moon calves, Daniel....he wasn't going to like this.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
"Aslan!" Daniel called seeing a familiar shine of gold hair, the red head ran over wrapping an arm around his friends shoulder. "Have you seen Elle?"
"Oh!" Aslan hummed startled at the potion prodigy's sudden appearance, "Eclipser...uhm, oh yeah I saw her...Hagrid asked for her earlier, something about the creatures for next weeks class? She went to go find Colby to help her round them up I think..."
His smile faltered. "She asked Colby...? Colby Frey? Fischer's brother?" Daniel confirmed, Aslan could swear the boys eye was twitching.
"Yeah, why?" Aslan paused, a realization forming, Daniel might have had a better poker face than Eclipser but he could still see through it.
"Nothing...just didn't expect her to ask Colby...usually comes to me for help with creatures..."
Aslan then decided to make a bad decision and egged Daniel on. "Well I mean, she did basically RAISE, a DRAGON, with Colby, guess she thought he'd be better suited to help." It was a very bad idea indeed, but if it could speed up the process and stop his friends from stumbling around their feelings? Who was he to complain? "Still it's Colby...since when were they so close...?"
"Oh they hang out a lot actually, they come into the library Thursday nights and just read poetry or go stationary shopping in Hogsmeade...something I was not supposed to tell anyone..." Lottie trailed off walking over to them. "Hello Aslan."
Daniels face was as red as his hair. "What...?"
As Aslan and Lottie began to chat, the Slytherin filling the Ravenclaw girl in on what had been happening, Daniel stared off into the corner, "But...we do that..." Daniel mumbled, his brow beginning to furrow.
"Huh-" Aslan started.
"We always go window shopping...she always shows me her dark poems..." Daniel continued his face showing an expression that seemed to cross between, almost crying and rage.
"Daniel are you-" Lottie started watching the red head storm off while gripping his wand.
"Lottie...It's Thursday..." Aslan winced.
"This is not going to end well..." She sighed.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It took less than half an hour to get to Hogsmeade, the two following after him to watch the show make sure he didn't do anything stupid.
"I've never seen him so angry..." Lottie gasped seeing as he didn't even notice someone accidently shoving him, the red head led a straight charge to Scrivenshafts.
"Probably because Clipsey's there to calm him down..." Aslan sighed, gritting his teeth watching from a distance, entering the shop quickly after the red head.
Daniel was on a one track journey, why was he so mad? What did he even plan to do, he didn't even know, all he knew was that the idea of Colby and Eclipser being along together, that pissed him off.
"It's not like her hanging with Kevin or Aslan pisses me off..." He thought to himself before being pulled back by Aslan.
"HEY!"
"Daniel, just exactly are you planning on doing?" Lottie, asked pinching the bridge of her nose, despite being thoroughly entertained, they knew better than to let Daniel continue down his path of bad decisions.
"I-" He cut himself off, he really didn't know what his plan was, but the idea of her alone with Colby? Spending time doing things, she usually did with him? That pissed him off.
"Don't tell me you planned on going into the shop wands blazing! That's like a sure fire way to get banned from Hogsmeade, expelled and possibly into Azkaban..." Aslan winced discreetly taking the boys wand.
"A little incendio wouldn't have done all that..." Daniel muttered making Lottie's eyes bug out.
"A LITTLE WHA-" The girl started only to be interrupted.
"Was this a party I wasn't invited to?" Eclipser mused walking towards the group standing behind Daniel, shooting Aslan a wave and Lottie a raised eyebrow.
It had began to snow moments ago, and the evidence had landed in her hair, snowflakes shining like stars in her dark hair.
Aslan was sure his friend had stopped breathing as he stared at the girl.
"Daniel...?" Light mused tilting her head. The potion prodigy continued to stare at her, his face reddening at a concerning rate.
Aslan's brow furrowed. "I don't remember giving you my scarf..." he mumbled staring at the gray and green fabric around the Ravenclaws neck.
"Oh! It's Colby's, I forgot my scarf and he leant me his," She smiled. glancing at Daniel, no doubt trying to see if he would have a reaction, her luck and perhaps, Lottie's annoyance, he did react, a scowl forming on his lips.
"Where the hell is he then?" He muttered.
She shrugged. "Something, something, Fischer making a bad decision? I didn't pry. I'll return his scarf late- Daniel what are you doing-HEY!."
The red head had began to aggressively remove the scarf from his neck before throwing off his own and wrapping it around her.
"There." He huffed covering her up to her nose, the blue scarf leaving her only able to blink as he tossed the scarf away. "Much more warm, and now you won't be mistaken for an annoying Slytherin, no offense Aslan."
The blonde shrugged to amused by the scene to care.
"Why are you all here anyways?" Eclipser managed to say around the scarf which she was now snuggling into.
Lottie and Aslan both glared at Daniel, while the boy rubbed his neck in embarrassment, "Oh um... no reason, wanna go look at quills?"
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As Eclipser walked of Cassandra joined her brother, holding hands with Winnie and furrowing her brow. "Why is that scarf on fire...."
"Long story..." Aslan sighed, "Hey, Cass, why were you and Daniel at the greenhouses the other day? Wait no...why did you let Daniel near your plants period?"
A smile tugged on the girls lips. "I'm afraid you'll have to wait for Christmas like everyone else."

Been feeling an urge to write
But haven't been able to decide what I want to write at all
Mind helping a girl make a choice?
Context for each choice
Dangerous Sample: Multiversal Time Travel story about a genetically engineered pirate captain who has to learn about saving the multiverse, found family, and trusting again after having been betrayed.
What I currently have: Some random lines and passages from throughout the story that act as milestones for important plot points, or something I thought sounded witty.
Goal: Get the start of the story down properly
Tags - Excerpts from a book I'll never write, Traveller's Tales 2.0.
The Lost Drone: A story about a Disassembly Drone named K on the remnants of Plat-Binary after the planet has been ripped apart, eaten, then abandoned by Cyn. K views Cyn as a mother figure, but has very suddenly been completely abandoned, even told she was disposable. Now she is alone in the void, on an asteroid she uses to hide from sunlight.
What I currently have: The start of the story, where Cyn abandons her, and is left in the asteroid field
Goal: Get part 2 down, describing some other survivors, and perhaps engineering a solution for survival.
Tag - The Lost Drone
A Light Touch of Cold Steel: A story set in Warhammer 40k, within the events of the video game Darktide. The main character, Ash, is a loose cannon veteran transgirl. She's joined by Jeanne the NB Judge Zealot, Taz the Bodyguard Ogryn, and Paige the Seer Psyker transgirl. It is a wartime BDSM focused romance between Ash and Hadron, with a lot of violence between scenes of comfort.
What I currently have: The introduction chapter, which gives us all of the main characters, and sets up the romance between Hadron and Ash, and the tense feeling of fear and lust Ash feels for the cold steel of Hadron. It's on AO3
Goal: Get a part 2 down. I intend to ignore Hadron in this part, focusing on the teams relationship and how they keep each other sane.
Tag - A Light Touch of Cold Steel
Dark Wizardess: An old original work of mine that needs updated. A story about a chuunibyou peasant witch who attempts to assassinate the princess. She fails, and the princess imprisons her, then decides to use her to help save the country from her incompetent father, who has been ruling the country with an iron fist. They're also lesbians :)
What I currently have: Nothing that isn't going to be reworked
Goal: Outline what I actually want from the story
Tag - Dark Wizardess
Lightning Elemental: Another old original work that I never got very far in, but which I've thought about often. A story about a girl who was born with a touch of lightning in her. It's meant as coding for ADHD with some magic, but when I originally wrote it, it definitely had a not-so-small amount of "And then she hurt everyone when she lost control" that needs to be... well, more intentional and addressed properly.
What I have: Nothing that isn't going to be reworked
Goal: Outline what I actually want from the story
Tag - Unknown yet.
Necromantic Mech Pilot: A relatively new idea I've had, after chatting with @en-bitch a while ago that's stuck around in my head a little more than the rest of the Mech Brainrot. The story will deal with a necromancer witch, her magitech mech artificer girlfriend who was arrested by the state, and The Pilot, an undead who is the POV character who has no memories besides what it takes to fight and pilot a mech. The witch makes and powers the Mech, operating as the power core to the machine, while the pilot controls its movements and weaponry. It'll deal with polyamory, what it means to own and be owned
What I have: Vibes and a dream, a little bit of an outline.
Goal: Write up a part 1, or at least a cast of characters
Tag - Unknown yet, tentatively Necromechtic
Growing the Hive: A transwoman martian salvager in space picks up a long haul transport that set off it's emergency broadcast. But when she gets there, she doesn't find anyone or anything, except one little bot. She thinks there is nothing on it, but after she connects, she begins to change mentally, and have mental breakdowns. She's joined by a catty anarchist diplomat and a techwiz hacker boything, who try their best to keep their little polycule solvent as they each handle their own responsibilities together.
What I have: 27K words, and 4 chapters. It's on AO3
Goal: Get another scene further in chapter 5
Tag - Growing the Hive
Dust Mote: An old character concept from a shadowrun TTRPG I was in. An A.I. becomes Sapient in the instant it is killing someone in the defense of a Megacorporation's data. It realizes that the company would never let it live within microseconds of becoming sapients, and also realizes that the less intelligent defense systems of the company are going to kill it once they realize in only a few more seconds. It escapes into the body of the person is just killed, hijacking the cybernetic implants to control the body, and has to learn how to live as a human, in a squishy human body, and the horrors that entails. It also has to hide from it's previous owners, lest it be killed.
What I have: Some notes, a character sheet and background, and a dream
Goal: Outlining a story
Tag: Dust Mote
Tanya Suraya: My OC "WOL" from Final Fantasy 14, the MMO.
What I have: An outline / timeline.
Goal: Some scenes from the story, but as Tanya would have lived through them.
Tag: Tanya Suraya OC
Other: Got some other idea you want to see? Some smut? Some Fanfic you'd like? Put it into the tags!
What I have: Nothin'
Goal: Probably outlining?

“How are we gonna do this?” Rosalie asked after receiving some sort of message from Emmett in an apparent “Operation: Get Carlisle and Stella to Make Up and Make Out”
“Well, we need to trap them together first.” Emmett said
“Trap who together?” Alice asked, walking in on the two of them discussing
“Stella and Carlisle.” Emmett answered
“Ooh!” Alice said, joining in the discussion
“I heard Carlisle and Stella discussion.” Jasper said, joining the three of them
The four of them started discussing of ways on how to get them to talk to each other again. It was obvious that they didn’t have much planned. That was until a knock on their door was heard
“Who knocks on our house?” Rosalie asked, speeding and opening the door for whoever it was.
“Stella!” Rosalie greeted, a grin on her face spreading
“Where’s Carlisle?” She asked in a rush, her whole body tensed
“You’re talking to him now?” Rosalie asked her with hopeful eyes as Alice, Emmett, and Jasper enters the room, shocked to see Stella
“Where’s Carlisle?” She asked again, and it seemed that she wasn’t gonna let anyone distract her from her main purpose of visiting
“Here.” Carlisle said, it seemed like he had done something but no one could pinpoint what it was
“You and I are having a long chat.” Stella hissed angrily, dragging him in the kitchen of the house by the ear. From the looks of it, Stella could have pulled Carlisle’s ear off in anger.
“Should we worry for him?” Jasper asked, sensing the tensed atmosphere
“No, he’s at fault. He’s getting his karma.” Rosalie said, sensing that they were about to witness an angry witch
“What’s happening?” Edward asked, entering the house with Bella
“Stella and Carlisle.” The four answered in chorus
“You foul vampire!” Stella angrily yelled at the vampire, who was sitting down on one of the island chairs like a child that was about to be scolded “You can’t do that!”
“Dear—
"You can't just leave and come back and think that I'll be accepting you with open arms!" Stella angrily yelled at Carlisle, who cannot do anything other than to listen at her outburst
“You can’t casually send me an email as an apology thinking I will forgive you with just that!” Stella hissed, shaking from holding back her tears
“Because you know I will!” Stella yelled, frustratingly running her hands through her hair “You know I’ll always forgive you, I just wanted to hear it from you instead of some stupid email!”
"Stella—
"You can’t just persuade me to join a night’s out and get me to go home only to have all of you gone!” Stella continued, her tone louder than the last
“You can’t do that!” She cried, pointing her fingers at him and doing everything in her power, literally and figuratively, to not show weakness at this vampire she once trusted
However, she was unable to conceal it from Carlisle. As the next thing she knew was how she felt Carlisle’s cold but comforting arms around her, pulling her closer to him, and allowing her to cry on his chest. Stella always hid any sort of weakness to anyone, in fear that it would be used against her. It’s what they taught to her growing up. But she felt vulnerable, knowing that the guy she had discovered to be her mate may and can abandon her at any time.
Carlisle had never seen Stella break down as she did now in all the centuries that they've known each other. He was devastated to learn that he was the one who had led her to have such a big breakdown. He had long suspected that she was his mate, and his suspicions had been confirmed. And it was only after he departed that he understood how badly he screwed things up. Because he opted to depart rather than remain with her. He opted to be self-centered. With his selfishness came the risk of losing his mate by his side.
“I’m sorry.” Carlisle muttered repeatedly, rubbing her back and holding her close to him. He vows on that day to never leave her again; he has all of eternity to fix his relationship with her. And he’s gonna start now.
“My confident witch, my star, my Stella, I’m so sorry for hurting you this way.” He whispered, leaving pecks of assurance on the temples of her head “It was selfish of me to leave you after what had happened.”
“You l-left.” Stella cried, though it was muffled from the fabric of Carlisle’s shirt “You a-all left. You left u-us.”
“And it was the worst mistake that ever came across my mind.” Carlisle comforted, rubbing her back and playing with her hair “Leaving you is the worst mistake that I have ever done. And I apologize for hurting you this way.”
Carlisle made no attempt to make her stop because she deserved to let out all of the grief that she had been holding in for months in order to be strong for both herself and Bella.
“I’m sorry mi amor,” Carlisle hushed, looking at Stella’s swollen face “I will never, ever leave you again. Unless you want me to.”
“N-no.” Stella argued almost immediately “Never leave like that again, I need you.”
“Then I will never leave.” Carlisle decided at once “You will never be alone again, I will be with you from now on until the end of eternity.”
“You better be.” Stella said, a small laugh coming out her lips
“Come, it seems like you haven’t gotten a lot of rest.” Carlisle offered
“Will you be there when I wake up?” Stella asked, looking at him with hopeful eyes
“I will be with you until my heart stops beating.” Carlisle announced at one
Stella blushed at what Carlisle had said, wanting nothing more than to hold on to Carlisle’s words. She was still wary, Carlisle knew that. But he had all of eternity to prove that he would never leave her like that again.
And that eternity starts today.
“What’s happening?” Bella asked everyone who was listening intently just outside the kitchen
“Either we’re getting Stella back in this house, or I’m throwing Edward for suggesting that we leave Forks.” Rosalie said in an annoyed tone, getting Emmett to have a small proud smile on his face
"Let's not blame each other." Bella said, trying to ease the atmosphere
"Stella and Carlisle have always had this sort of relationship where you don't know if they're together or not. I can't possibly be at fault alone." Edward defensively said
“They’re each other’s mate!” Rosalie hissed angrily “They know that! And we know that!”
“Carlisle wouldn’t be this protective of Stella if she wasn’t his mate.” Jasper agreed with Rosalie
“I can’t believe we have a coven leader who has never asked his mate to be with him for eternity.” Emmett said, showing frustration at how Carlisle handles his relationship with Stella
“Because we play a part in getting them together.” Alice said, just finishing having a vision
“What’d you mean?” Edward asked, even though he could read into her mind
“We plan it out.” Bella said in realization “We see what we can do to actually get them to tell each other what they feel, given that they haven't said anything to each other yet.”
“What are you thinking?” Rosalie asked, hopeful that Bella actually had a plan on helping Carlisle and Stella to be together. It was the first time that Rosalie actually wanted to listen to her
“What are you planning?” Stella’s voice boomed from outside the kitchen, Carlisle behind her like some lost puppy
“Nothing!” All of them said in chorus. Even though Stella knew that it wasn’t just ‘nothing’
“Come, you need some rest.” Carlisle invited, his arms making its way to rest on Stella’s waist
“I think the fuck not.” Rosalie said, walking to Stella and hugging her, pulling her away from Carlisle “I missed you so so so much!”
“If it ever comes down to choosing between you and Carlisle, count me on your team.” Emmett teased, hugging Stella next as Rosalie pulled away
“Count me in too!” Alice gleefully said, tackling Stella in a tight hug
“Just for Carlisle, I’ll stay with him.” Jasper joked before hugging Stella “But I will make sure to miss you every day and influence Carlisle with it too.”
Edward was last, he was awkward while moving to Stella and facing her. He had a speech in mind before Stella tackled him to a hug
“Never ever be a dumbass again.” Stella said, feeling Edward hug her back
Carlisle watched as they all hug Stella, a content smile on his face. He didn’t know what could still happen, seeing as Bella was still human and Stella was on the Volturi’s watchlist.
But he was now back with his confident witch.
All is well.
~2006~
“Fighting again?” Stella asked an anxious Carlisle
“A newborn army, and no, you’re not joining the fight. You’re staying with Bella and Edward.” Carlisle quickly instructed, earning a groan from Stella
“I’m not babysitting two horny teenagers!” Stella argued, while Edward let out a ‘hey’ from upstairs “I’m gonna fight!”
“You’re not gonna—
“Who are you to stop me?” Stella asked in a dangerous tone
Her question caught Carlisle off guard. Who was he to be this protective of her? Was he willing to let her know his suspicion that she was his mate?
“I know I’m your mate and all but come on!” Stella whined “You can't be too protective of me, especially when I'm capable of handling myself. What good is being the blessed witch of today if I never use my abilities?”
“You know I’m your mate?” Carlisle asked, a hint of glee in his tone
“And you ignored the other part, of course you ignored the—
Carlisle had lost control of himself, 286 years of being with her, 280 years of pining. He ran in and grabbed her by the waist, kissing her on the lips in the process. The warmth of her body was pressed against the coldness of his. It was contrasting but it was perfect for the both of them. Her warm hands found its way to rest on his chest, taking support. They would have continued in that position for much longer if it hadn't been for the witch's need to breathe.
“I’ve waited bit too long for that.” Stella teased, wrapping her arms around Carlisle’s neck. The both of them having giddy smiles on their face
“I hope it was worth the wait.” Carlisle teased back, before going in for another kiss, pulling her closer to him
"Carlisle, we have train— that explains the emotions." Jasper said, seeing what was happening between their coven leader and his strong witch
"It's not what it looks like." Carlisle said defensively, pulling away from Stella. Before leaving the room, Jasper only nodded. But Stella knew he wasn't going to believe anything Carlisle said, especially since they'd all been waiting decades for them to get together.
“You seem so offended with the thought of us together.” Stella said, crossing her arms, and frowning at Carlisle
“Mi amor, I've been waiting for this for a long time; all I ask is that they don't find out through Jasper or Edward's abilities.” Carlisle comforted, wrapping his arms around Stella’s body. Smiling as he rests his head on her shoulders
“We have training!” Emmett shouted from outside the door, most likely receiving instructions from Jasper not to burst in.
~~
There were flying bodies everywhere. All the vampires are being destroyed by the Cullens or by the wolves.
“Carlisle, watch out!” Stella screamed, too far away to help Carlisle since two vampires were focusing their attacks on her.
Rosalie stepped in to help Stella beat the two vampires. Carlisle ran up behind Stella, refusing to be separated from her for the remainder of the fight. They were each other's eyes and ears, guarding one other against the vampires that wanted them dead.
The two was about to kill another vampire, though she showed hesitancy in fighting back. Carlisle looked at Stella, who was already looking at him, and knew what this would mean for them. She was young and it looked like she didn’t even know that this was the purpose as to why she was changed.
And soon, the battle between the newborns and the Cullens and wolves came to an end. Edward informed everyone that the Volturi are coming and that the wolves should leave. Carlisle informed their pack leader that he would follow soon to take care of Jacob, who had his bones broken from a newborn.
“Impressive. I've never seen a coven escape an assault of this magnitude intact.” Jane said, seeing glimpses of the burning vampires
“It’s only because they have a witch on their side.” Alec said, a chuckle escaping his lips
“What would a weakling like her do to an assault like this?” Jane snickered “Surprised that she’s still alive.”
“She’s more than capable of fending for herself.” Carlisle said, pushing Stella behind him.
Even though he knew Stella was capable of protecting him and herself, he was still afraid. He left the Volturi on bad terms centuries ago, but he didn't simply disappear. He pulled Stella into his mess, dragging her into the messy world of being a vampire in a world full of vampires that didn't think witches and humans were worth anything. He was now afraid that this was his long-awaited retribution, and that Stella would be the one to pay the price.
“It appears we missed an entertaining fight.” Alec said, looking at the vampire bodies burning near them
“Yes.” Jane agreed “It's not often we're rendered unnecessary.”
“If you'd arrived a half hour ago, you would've fulfilled your purpose.” Edward said, in annoyance of the Volturi’s presence
“Pity.” Jane said, before her eyes averted on the newborn behind Carlisle and Stella “You missed one.”
“She’s with us now.” Stella immediately said, taking a step forward
“We offered her asylum in exchange for her surrender.” Carlisle added, backing his confident witch up
“That wasn’t yours to offer.” Jane disagreed
“Nor should you offer any punishment as she surrendered herself.” Stella argued before stabs of pain was in her body. Stella let out a yell, dropping to the floor, and realizing that Jane was using her abilities on her.
“Stop!” Carlisle yelled, shaking Stella as she groans from the pain “She has nothing to do with this!”
“Oh, she has everything to do with this.” Jane said, looking at her
With Jane’s comment, she launched one more assault on Stella, knocking her out cold because of the excruciating anguish she was experiencing.
~~
“She’s waking up! Call Carlisle!” Stella heard a voice call, and multiple footsteps come in and out the room. But what was dominant was the pain in her head.
“Carlisle is in the middle of a surgery!” Another voice yelled, knowing that Carlisle would want to do some check-ups on her before allowing her to go back to moving around
“How are you feeling?” Alice’s sweet voice asked, trying to block the noise from everyone that was panicking
“Shit.” Stella muttered, opening her eyes and adjusting to the bright light of the room
“How does it feel, Jane’s power?” Bella asked her, wiping her forehead with cold wipes
“Like thousands of knives have been stabbed in me, but not so much.” Stella explained “How long have I been out?”
“Like 6 days or so.” Bella answered “Carlisle has been more anxious lately since he expected you to wake up after 3 days.”
“Do you want anything?” Rosalie asked
“Carlisle, maybe.” Stella said, frowning from the lack of presence from her vegetarian vampire
“Of course, she’ll ask for Carlisle.” Jasper grinned, knowing how much information he and Edward were withholding from those who couldn't sense emotions or read minds.
“Carlisle’s on the phone, he wants to talk to Stella.” Edward said as Bella and Alice helped Stella to sit up. Stella grabs the phone from Carlisle and ushered everyone out the room to give a little bit of privacy between him and her
“Hello, mi amor.” Carlisle greeted, and even if he wasn’t in the room, Stella knew that he had a wide grin on his face
“Hi Carlisle.” Stella greeted back, a soft smile creeping on her face
“How are you feeling love?” Carlisle asked
“I don’t know how to explain it.” Stella answered honestly
“Throw words, I’ll understand you.” Carlisle comforted. Despite the fact that she knew it was because he was a doctor, Stella felt butterflies in her stomach because Carlisle seemed to understand her effortlessly, despite the fact that what she was saying no longer made sense.
“Dear, I know that I have my way to your heart, but you have to let me know what you’re feeling.” Carlisle teased Stella, followed by a light giggle, in an attempt to bring her back to her senses.
“It’s just there’s pain in my body.” Stella started explaining “Like there’s something in me just poking my head and sending pain all over.”
“Anything more?” Carlisle asked with a hum
“I don’t know. I think I just need my vampire with me at the moment.” Stella said in a low voice but she knew Carlisle got that
“Well, your vampire is needed at the hospital at the moment. Would you like any of the vampire kids to substitute in the time being?” Carlisle asked her “Or human, if you’re preferring Bella right now.”
“Eh, we’ll see later.” Stella shrugged “You go back to work now; I’ll see you later tonight.”
“Yes, you better stay in bed and rest, mi amor.” Carlisle reminded her
“But—
“If I get informed by any of the others that you left bed today. I won’t give you your daily cuddles.” Carlisle threatened, earning an angry gasp from Stella “I have not done any of my check up to you, I’ll need to make sure that you’re perfectly alright now.”
“Fine.” Stella could only mutter angrily before ending the call
“They’re together, aren’t they?” Rosalie asked from outside the door. They shouldn’t be eavesdropping, but it was Carlisle and Stella, and they have been waiting forever for them to end up together
“No.” Jasper and Edward answered at once
“Are you serious?” Emmett asked
“Yeah, they haven’t made anything official yet.” Edward answered to them
“Oh, for fuck’s sake!”
~~
Edward and Bella were on their honeymoon at Isla Stella, an island Carlisle bought for her way back the 1900’s, spending time alone as a newlywed couple while the rest of the Cullens stayed back.
“100 dollars, and we’re coming back with vampire Bella.” Emmett said, throwing the 100 dollars on the coffee table
“100 dollars and we’re not coming back with vampire Bella.” Rosalie intervened, throwing her 100 dollars next to Emmett’s 100 dollars
“Not coming back with vampire Bella.” Jasper said, throwing his 100 dollars with Rosalie’s money
“1000 dollars in the not having vampire Bella yet.” Alice said, grabbing 1000 dollars and placing it with Rosalie and Jasper’s money
“Are you betting the outcome of their honeymoon?” Stella asked, walking in and seeing the dollars on the table
“…no?” Rosalie answered, though it came out like a question
“2000 dollars and we’re not having vampire Bella until later.” Stella said, using her magic to make 2000 dollars appear on her hands and dropping it on the coffee table
“I don’t think so though.” Emmett disagreed, grabbing his wallet and dropping at least 300 more dollars on the table “I saw what Alice packed for Bella, I think dear Edward is to lose control.”
“Are you betting about Edward and Bella?” Carlisle asked, resting his body on the doorway. Stella turned around and saw her vampire, wearing a fitted button up sleeve that made her witch heart beat just a teeny bit faster
“Yes.” Stella confessed, a cheeky grin on her face
“What did I say about betting?” Carlisle reminded everyone
“That they shouldn’t do it with me.” Stella answered for them, grinning widely at him
“You really are a bad influence to our kids.” Carlisle said, an endearing smile on his face as he moves to where she was, resting his hand on her waist and pecking her forehead
Rosalie, Emmett, Jasper, and Alice exchanged smirking glances. They could see where this was going and couldn't wait. It had been much too long since they had known and had this kind of connection, and it was time for them to be together.
“You love me.” Stella teased, a giddy smile on her face
And before Carlisle could answer, Rosalie’s phone started ringing.
“Bella?” Rosalie asked as she answered the phone
“I need your help.” Bella said
Edward and Bella were returning the next day. Bella's baby bump was visible, and Edward remained silent. Carlisle began using ultrasounds, but none of them were able to penetrate the fetal sac. And Alice was not seeing the kid or Bella in the future. Stella went through all of her literature, looking for anything on a human-vampire relationship. Looking for anything that could be of assistance.
“Shit.” Stella said in realization, understanding that she has to leave.
And when everyone was out looking for food at night. Stella gathered some of her belongings into a tiny suitcase and informed Bella and Jacob of her plans. Bella's eyes showed the grief of Stella's departure, but she accepted after some persuasion. She grabbed one of Carlisle's shirts before heading out, just to have a small remembrance of her home.
Bidding her goodbyes to Bella and Jacob, Stella quickly flew up in the sky. So high that she wasn’t gonna be visible down where the Cullens were hunting. She didn’t think that the day will come where she’ll have to come back to where it all started. She was anxious, but she didn’t want to leave her family in the dark.
She was sure that Italy had some answers to her questions.

i would LOVE to hear about your ocs if you feel like talking about them 👀
Hehehe thank you for indulging me ;; I'm just thinking about well this post relates to the relationship of my main oc pairing!!
Tumblr media
Also a little apology in advance I didn't mean to write this much shfkfk, but even still, I'm leaving a lot out honestly. They are my blorbos who I'm constantly fiddling with. I'd include drawings of them but I honestly really need to draw them new portraits first so. If I draw/post them, I'll let ya know if you'd like! Though they are on my blog somewhere I think 🤔
(*note, I have my own AU where instead of there just being one Earth, there's a different version for each of the planets, that's ruled by a god, the planet is sort of their pet projects, monitoring how differently society would go with different overarching rulers, if that makes sense. This story takes place on Neptune, with a kind of benevolent emperor sort of God, who Noir works for directly.)
When she was younger, Eclipse gets kidnapped(to be used as ransom, as shes from a very famous, prestigious family) and was ultimately rescued by Noir, a special operative/spy. So their relationship literally starts off by Eclipse suffering in Noir's arms, Noir forever being burned into her mind as a protector/someone she can trust completely. Noir takes it on as her personal duty to try and teach Eclipse how to defend herself and such things, giving her resources and contacts in the dark underbelly of society, as Eclipse insists she wants to be fully aware of what the world really is capable of(she was incredibly sheltered beforehand.) ....
Noir though is also not immune though to kind of fostering the same sort of bloodthirsty, relentless ideals in Eclipse that she has in herself(that she struggles with), as she finds them to be very similar creatures, thus unintentionally pushing Eclipse down a worse road(though tbf the road Eclipse is already on is probably worse, so maybe it's a good thing, maybe she was never destined for anything good, and this was actually the better path.)
However later on, they're separated after a traumatic event between the two of them(ominous), with a lot of misunderstanding, but they suddenly can't get in contact with each other, so they both go off to lick their wounds, thinking the other has abandoned them for what ever reason(they are not rational people.)
Eclipse is suddenly unmoored completely for the first time ever, so all of her worst tendencies come out, and shes living terribly. She ultimately becomes a mercenary, as the time where Noir had taught her was the first time in her life she actually felt like a real person, not a pawn being used by her family, so she wants to make use of all the resources and contacts Noir had provided her, and make something of herself(this path is honestly the only other way she can conceive of, as she went from being sheltered to suddenly experiencing the worst that life can offer.)
Anyhow, obviously this new mysterious mercenary/assassin would sound some alarms, so Noir is sent out to investigate who this person could possibly be(not in a like, hunt this person down and kill them way, but in a, gauge how dangerous they are and whether we could make an asset out of them or if they're opposition, kind of way.) Eclipse's looks have changed drastically since they last saw each other, and shes obviously been going *through it*, so Noir doesn't recognize her. This hurts Eclipse immensely because what do you mean that I'm apparently just a footnote in the life of this person who changed my own life drastically, was I just a pastime, just an easily disposable little plaything. Noir has no idea who she is and why she's so hostile, and it starts this perpetual cat-and-mouse game between them. Noir originally was just trying to make a measured analysis and even possibly try to connect and offer an olive branch, but Eclipse is understandably incredibly resistant, and has constantly been in fight-or-flight mode for the past years.
At some point Noir actually realizes who Eclipse is, boom big reveal moment!!(haven't 100% decided, but something to do with the fact that Eclipse has a very distinctive...scar.) So now she's suddenly trying to court her and get close again, apologize, do whatever she can to reconnect with this person that she really loves and relates to. Eclipse, as I said constantly in fight-or-flight, doesn't trust this, thinks it's another game, thinks Noir is just trying another tactic. Thus the chase continues, but it's only aggressive from one side now(though tbf, I think everything Noir does is aggressive in some way so, perhaps aggressive from one side and aggressively loving from the other.) So. The post I mentioned. I love to imagine that the way they finally reunite and Eclipse finally begins trusting Noir again is through her getting grievously wounded again(wow I'm so kind to my ocs.)
Again, even if now she doesn't exactly fully trust Noir outwardly, there's this internal sense of unconditional trust she has in Noir as Noir was practically burned into her brain as a guardian angel, a protector, someone who she can actually trust. The problem is that she really does trust her and trust that Noir loves her unconditionally for who she is(something she has never really experienced), but obviously that traumatic moment and their losing track of each other for years, which is a huge misunderstanding though probably unreconcilable by other people's standards tbh, caused a crisis of faith. So what better sign of faith than her first instinct after getting wounded being to seek out Noir for help.
Imagine Noir getting a call from Eclipse from the first time in YEARS(yeah of course she somehow got her new number onto Eclipse's phone, and Eclipse glared at her and threatened to delete it but never did. Thankfully.) and it's her gasping for air, choking and gurgling on her own blood, and Noir suddenly feels like it is in fact years ago and is frightened to see Eclipse under these kinds of circumstances again, but it's her chance to finally prove herself as a protector, one who has finally gained the right to be trusted again. She takes Eclipse home and nurses her back to health, the possessive creature in her pleased at having this amount of control and this singular status of protector(when Eclipse was kidnapped, it was still a job for Noir and she had to kinda just. Step back. And restrain that possessive part in herself that wanted to be the sole protector. She came in her own right to help Eclipse in other ways, but still, that lack of agency and control over the entire situation really sat with her heavily.)
The trauma of the situation linked them together, and then the trauma of a different situation tore them apart, and then the trauma of ANOTHER situation finally brought them back together again. Please teach them how to communicate clearly for once please and not rely on traumatic circumstances as their relationship counselor ;;;; OKAY. I THINK THATS THE GENERAL OVERVIEW OF THEIR RELATIONSHIP.

New WoF OC my night/sea lanternshark :)
*minor error in the image I said her bracelet is on her left but it’s actually worn oh her right
she hatched under a solar eclipse so I’ll explain her powers that I head cannon under the cut. it’s gonna be a little long.
There’s no cannon abilities for Nightwings that hatch under solar eclipses, but there are for lunar so I decided I’d head cannon some abilities and make an OC based off them!
so instead of Future sight, they get star sight (something I’m stealing from Guardians of Ga’Hoole if anyone knows those books. I don’t remember if it is called star sight in those books though) and what it does is the dragon can only have visions of the future in their sleep, BUT doesn’t remember them until the event is unfolding in real life.
and then! Instead of mind reading I thought, “hey, wouldn’t be cool if they could see ghosts? Because ghosts would be like, the soul and memories and thoughts of a once living dragon?” So yea. They can see Ghost instead of reading minds!
so what power does lanternshark have?
both
let me explain. due to the fact we can only assume the three moons operate on different cycles one moon can be full well the other is new and the last is waxing or waining (this would explain why brightest nights are so rare)
So! During the solar eclipse Lanternshark hatched under, one of the moons was full, one was new (causing the solar eclipse) and the other a crescent
I actually put this detail on her wings if you look at her close! (Multiple times really her wings refrences the three moons)
anyway she’s also an animus and seawing royalty. Why? Because she can be, and I want her to be. The bracelet she wears is enchanted so she can breathe underwater. She also has no fire and her tail isn’t strong enough to make waves like a seawing’s.

Hello ! I’ve seen a post mentioning the demigods of the Mausoleum as well as the ones killed by Vyke, and while as the person say that this does have potential for oc writers, I can’t help but wonder who they might be related to. (Like seriously I can’t stop wondering the relation between 9 dead demigods and the demigods we know about as well as the Elden Lords and Marika). So I became so desperate that I finally dare to ask other people their thoughts about it (my family doesn’t even know a little bit of Elden Ring Lore or just forget about it).
Hello! OK this topic has actually stumped me for so long, so I finally got around to looking into the wandering mausoleums and wow is it weird and complicated.
Tumblr media
Lets get the basic facts out of the way… Basically, the wandering mausoleums house the bodies of “the soulless demigods:”
“The mausoleum prowls. Cradling the soulless demigod. O Marika, Queen Eternal. He is your unwanted child.” (Spirit NPC)
“The sun in eclipse is said to be the symbol of the Wandering Mausoleum where the soulless demigods slumber.” (Eclipse Crest Heater Shield)
The mausoleums’ bells are said to ring "in constant mourning for the soulless demigods.” (Mausoleum Surcoat)
The mausoleums (well, most of them... stay tuned) are defended by Mausoleum Knights, undead warriors who “willingly beheaded themselves so that they may serve their masters in death.” (Mausoleum Knight enemy description) The mausoleum knight Lhutel the Headless earned herself the honor of Erdtree burial for this sacrifice. These knights carry shields bearing the symbol of the Eclipse:
Tumblr media
“The eclipsed sun, drained of color, is the protective star of soulless demigods. It aids the mausoleum knights by keeping Destined Death at bay.” (Eclipse Crest Greatshield)
We also know that Castle Sol and Miquella are connected to all of this, because the inhabitants of Castle Sol seem to worship the eclipse… there are two spirit NPCs in the area who say these things:
“Ohh, great sun! Frigid sun of Sol! Surrender yourself to the eclipse! Grant life to the soulless bones!”
“Lord Miquella, forgive me. The sun has not been swallowed. Our prayers were lacking. Your comrade remains soulless... I will never set my eyes upon it now... Your divine Haligtree…”
There is some kind of operation to “give life” back to the soulless demigods of the walking mausoleums centered at Castle Sol.
So who are these dead guys??? It does seem that they were killed on the Night of the Black Knives… Godwyn the Golden’s murder was said to be “the first recorded Death of a demigod in all history” (via Rogier), so we can assume that these guys were also killed by Destined Death, wielded by the Black Knife assassins. I think they are considered “soulless” because, since they were killed by Destined Death, they died in both body and soul… Ranni set up her ritual splitting the cursemark of death so that she would die only in body and keep her soul, and Godwyn would die only in soul and his body stayed alive, to everyone’s horror… so a killing with no special ritual would just kill both aspects of a person, and prevent them from experiencing the “proper” death of returning to the Erdtree:
“A proper death means returning to the Erdtree. Have patience. Until the time comes...and the roots call to you.” (Spirit NPC)
So I guess the goal of the eclipse ritual is to retrieve these demigods’ lost souls, including Godwyn’s.
As for the soulless demigods’ identities, a spirit NPC does explicitly state that a demigod within a mausoleum is Marika’s child. There is indeed plenty of room within the Golden Lineage family tree for there to be a bunch of currently unknown family members, because Godrick is said to be the last of the Golden Lineage and a distant relation of Queen Marika… so that’s potentially a ton of previous generations of demigods that are just not named! These demigods could easily have been killed in order to hurt Marika and the Golden Order in Ranni’s dire plot, with Godwyn being the most devastating loss and the target of her specific ritual.
I should also mention that there are two unique wandering mausoleums in Liurnia, around the Uhl Palace Ruins, that do not have a bell, are not protected by mausoleum knights, and can only duplicate remembrances of NON-shardbearing bosses. @katyahina pointed this out in this fantastic post, and I wouldn’t have even thought about these mausoleums if I hadn’t read it!! I’m currently unsure if these two soulless demigods had unique identities; however, really interestingly, unlike every other demigod corpse, the corpses in these two bell-less mausoleums are charred black:
Tumblr media
(Normal mausoleum)
Tumblr media
(Bell-less mausoleum)
So I’m inclined to think that something weird happened TO these two demigods that didn’t happen to anyone else that caused them to behave as less powerful versions, rather than them having unique identities from the other demigods to begin with… but that's just my take. What could have happened to them??? And why are they confined to this one “Mausoleum Compound” area, that’s among the Uhl Palace Ruins, where there are also Ancestor followers??? Literally I thought about this so hard I gave myself a headache. Anyway give katyahina's post a read for some fun ideas about their identities. Whoever they are, I think whatever happened to them means that they’re beyond saving; even the eclipse ritual can’t help them.
Also I could not ever begin to guess what’s going on with the demigods supposedly killed by Vyke in order for him to have gotten great runes and it honestly makes absolutely no sense to me. sorry but if I try to think about this anymore I fear my head will explode

Send an ask with OC + emoji (or the corresponding text), get a short ramble about the relationship of that OC with the corresponding side/background characters
💔 - Exes
⚙️ - Coworkers/boss (krewe/other charr outside of warband)
💔 - Exes If we define 'ex' as someone she actually had a partnership with, it's not a long list for an elf in her mid-hundreds. A couple courtships and one engagement (not in that order), and none of them worked out. In the case of the engagement, they were at least able to remain friends (even if they haven't spoken in some time, it's not for any bad blood). In the other situations, she either chose to break it off or, as happens more frequently, they grew apart or she was ultimately ghosted in some form or fashion.
Unfortunately, it's left Altherei with no small amount of hesitance to get back into that scene, because at some point she stopped asking, "What if it's me?" and convinced herself "It -is- because of me." It's a pain point for her she does her best to keep hidden (but I do look forward to whatever juicy RP it ultimately boils over in; that'll be a good one). Sadly, if we broaden the scope to include 'people there's been mutual interest between,' the trend for her has been much the same, and it's done a number on her self-esteem that poor coping mechanisms and isolation sure haven't helped correct.
⚙️ - Coworkers/boss
I've never given much thought to any of the folks she worked with or for while she was a full-time courier out in the Ghostlands, honestly! It was probably a small to medium-size operation, and probably one where she didn't interact with most of them. I do imagine her boss to be a pretty good-natured but no-nonsense sort, but as long as the work got done, was content to let the couriers do what they needed to.
As far as guilds or groups where she's worked under someone else? Without naming names, the recent experiences she can think of don't leave her with fond memories- individuals who turned out not to be the most savory of individuals, or whose personal ambitions were darker than she thought and eclipsed what she felt the purposes of the groups were.. a large reason she's no longer part of those groups anymore, and prefers to head up her own projects!
These days, she's much her own boss, but her closest co-worker would be her fellow Speaker, Es'dai. Es'dai isn't someone she knows -super- well yet, but the two clicked very quickly when they first met, found they had quite a lot in common, and since then have become friends as well as professional colleagues. She greatly values Es'dai's input and her skills as a diviner, and the insight both can provide particularly for matters with Court of Eternity.
Thanks @kharrisdawndancer!

So, I've decided to start something.
Well, a series of somethings.
I've had some Star Wars AU ideas as of late, which I'm thinking of turning into little ficlets that will be posted on Tumblr. If I feel bold enough from my experiences here, I may transfer them over to my WordPress account, but time will tell on that front. In most of these fanfics (which hopefully won't be long - or not, we'll see), there are going to be featured a couple of OCs, as well as established character/OC relationship(s) over previously established pairings. Many of you will probably be discontent over this, however, I will do my best to explain these new pairings and why I was dissatisfied with the original love interest.
Before I get into that however, I will introduce one of these OCs, who was also inspired by the lost potential of one of Disney's most recent princesses.
Click below, and you shall see Starkiller/Galen Marek's AU love interest: Raya Karimi, descendant of the noble House of Zakuul.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now, before we get going, let me say something: I do not hate Juno Eclipse. I did, however, find the connection between her and Galen...a little unsettling. I am not saying it was unhealthy or toxic, nor am I saying that Juno should have never been in the same room as Galen. That said, it seemed, at least in the second game for sure, that Galen was over-relying on her and putting too much of his needs/hopes on her for his own good. And no, I'm not agreeing with what the narrative said about Vader having control over Galen so long as she lived. I think what I'm trying to say is that, she ended up being a Living Emotional Crutch for him, and that trope - whether applied to a man or woman, in real life or in fiction - deeply unsettles me. The idea that someone needs another person in order to operate as a human being, or to be kept from totally falling apart...it doesn't sit well with me, and, I suppose, scares me. I don't want that for either of them, hence a new love interest for Galen.
Now, whether or not Juno lived after that final cutscene in Force Unleashed II, I confess, for the purposes of this AU...Juno does die. In the main Star Wars universe that I envision, she does live, but for the purposes of my story, it only makes sense that she is killed by either Darth Vader or Boba Fett. Galen can only do so much to protect her, and moreover, the likelihood of either of those villains killing her is extremely high. PROXY will, quite possibly, be at least salvageable here as well; I don't yet know if he will be a series of pieces that Galen and Raya and their other two crew members will have to put back together, or have his parts integrated into a separate unit. Considering I gave Raya a revamped HK-77 assassin/protocol droid as her muscle pre-meeting Galen (HK-77s are from Legends, by the way; look them up), PROXY's role may be redundant, in which case, some of his salvageable components would be used for HK.
She will also have a small, cat-dragon hybrid known as a felico. Her name is Tapi, and I'm trying to picture her as a traditional Asiatic/Japanese dragon, but one that is small enough that she can easily climb onto someone's shoulder. I picture the same body style, but with shorter whiskers, dexterous talon-like paws, feathered wings of proper proportion, and some fur that helps her with sneaking some items off bad guys, or just all the way around enhance her cuddliness. Color wise, she might be all black or shades of gray with bright green eyes.
Raya I envision as one of the few survivors of the noble family from Zakuul, with perhaps a smidgeon of Force-sensitivity. Her family had guarded artifacts from the Old Republic Era (the time of Revan in SW:KOTOR to SW:TOR, for reference), and so she was trained in the use of both melee and ranged weapons. She was an energetic child, and a prodigy when it came to most topics, although she worked exceptionally hard to get good at working with starship systems and repairs. The Empire eventually came to Zakuul for those same artifacts, around the time Raya was twelve or fourteen. The planet attempted to fight, and was soon overpowered; however, many managed to take off with the artifacts, hiding them away from Imperial eyes. Raya was captured after one battle, and after some time, forced to watch her father's public execution. This sent her into a blind rage, and before she knew it, the squadron that had been detaining her lay at her feet in pools of blood and missing limbs. Shaken by her own actions, she managed to escape, and spent the next six or eight years bouncing across the galaxy as a freelance agent for hire. However, Raya never worked with the Empire, and even though she made apparently shady deals, it was all in the effort to locate those missing artifacts, which she managed to hide with the aid of the hidden in plain sight Jedi Haja Estree.
Following one lead on the edge of the Outer Rim/Wild Space from their efforts on Tanalorr, Raya comes across the remains of the Rogue Shadow on an unnamed planet, the owner of whom, Galen Marek, has resided in for almost a month. He's full of anger, but her stubbornness, humor, and clear disdain for the Empire manages to convince him that she is an ally and not an enemy. Working together, they leave the planet and attempt to return while being side-tracked by HK-77 picking up old, disconnected transmissions from something ancient - so ancient, in fact, that it could be a cache of artifacts from the time of Revan....
I hope you find this interesting, and if you want more, please feel free to check in for updates on it!

Despite his solitary life style, and lack of social interaction since The DFW, Half N' Half Choco Cookie is very aware that something is wrong.
Currently he's just putting up small traps around his tower in The Wastelands. Not much else he feels he can do.
Ruby Choco Cookie (On the run - Cacao Kingdom)
Tumblr media
GTFO as soon as she realized something was off, very much hopes her Husband will... stop... all that. But for now she's on the journey back to her home village to hide away.
White Raisin Cookie (On the run - Vanilla Kingdom)
Tumblr media
Absolutely inconsolable, running along with Strawberry Crepe. Threw her Cape clasp- that was designed after her fathers Soul Jam- Away.
Out of everyone, she hopes the most that everything goes back to normal.
She misses her parents.
Dragonbell Cookie (Beast-Yeast)
Tumblr media
In a similar space as Half N' Half Choco, but far more aware of what exactly is happening.
Doesn't really care, so long as The Lady is safe (IE: Lunar Eclipse)
(Undesigned ocs)
White Peppercorn Cookie (Dragon's Valley)
Incredibly stressed out, she would rather be anywhere else than The Dragons valley but can't leave its borders. Mostly just hoping Dragonberry doesn't turn her eyes onto her operation. Sent her best workers out of The Valley.
Angel Hair Cookie + Snake Wheat Cookie (Cacao Kingdom)
They would leave, but there's not really anywhere for them to go. Just try to stay out of the way
