sorry for making yet another textpost but i came across that post saying they dislike transfem natsume because he "canonically hates being perceived as a girl and tries to erase all sorts of memories related to that" and also went on to shame genderbends of him aswell. So, as someone who not only draws genderbends of natsume but is myself someone who is nonbinary and hates being perceived as a woman, i thought id offer my two cents

first of all; i think its important to note that natsume does NOT hate his childhood. in fact, hes quite happy that he had such an unusual upbringing!

what natsume hates is being perceived as weak. thats why he was raised as a girl after all, it was his mother trying to protect him from evil spirits. he doesnt hate the whole "-chan" or "wearing dresses" thing because he has a hatred for womanhood, its because due to his upbringing hes now come to associate those things as being weak. he begs tsumugi to forget about it because that means tsumugi remembers natsume being weak, and natsume thinks tsumugi still referring to him as "natsume-chan" means he still sees natsume as weak. (iirc natsume did however once say that he is a little sad that he doesnt really know how to relate to young boys due to this in poltergeist, but i couldnt find the exact quote. either way that just adds to the complexity of natsumes relationship with his childhood, because while he is happy to be "abnormal" in that sense, it has left him lacking in some areas)

i have to ask though, should this conflict of his not be something we hope he overcomes? should we not want him to develop a healthy relationship with various gender expressions? should we not want natsume to overcome his belief that feminine things = weakness? i want natsume to reach a point where he can wear feminine clothing and not feel like some damsel in distress because of it. i want natsumes character to grow. i want him to develop a positive relationship with his gender because natsume DOES enjoy some more typically feminine things, like baking! he used to bake with his mom when he was little! and i want him to feel like he can indulge in that side of him without feeling insecure.....

i LOVE transmasc natsume, my primary hc for him is transmasc nonbinary after all, but with all these things considered, shouldnt people be allowed to headcanon him however they want? if they hear his story and negative relationship with femininity and how that resonates with them and they themselves are transfem, should they not be allowed to hc him as such too?

which brings me to my next point; my own personal relationship with gender and femininity. i was raised as a girl and i fucking DESPISED womanhood. i hated everything about it. i hated how i felt forced into a box i didnt want to be stuck in, and i hated how it felt like my whole life had already been planned out for me due to societal expectations, aswell as me needing to present a certain way. i was peak "tomboy" growing up, constantly wearing super baggy clothes and wouldnt even brush my hair alot of the time. but despite that i remained miserable. i frankly hated how i looked and would constantly dye my hair vibrant colors in an attempt to make me like myself a little more. it wasnt until i realized "wow, im actually not a girl at all" that i finally let go of believing i needed to look a certain way (and thus, defying it) and started to dress for myself. i started to dress in clothes that made me happy and feel pretty! alot of which leans feminine, but clothes doesnt have a gender, and how you dress doesnt define your gender either, but it can still be a bit scary yknow? especially since i dont want people to think of me as a girl, and drawing a bunch of femstars has really made me learn to love myself more in a funny way. i can put these characters in clothes i think are beautiful, i can explore the more feminine parts of me that i adore but dont want to express in public due to how i want others to perceive me, but it has also warmed me up to femininity even more. because femstars to me feels detached from the expectations of society because its not a real thing!! there are no canon femstars designs!!! i can do literally whatever the hell i want with it and its been so liberating to me!!

all this to say; i think it really sucks seeing the way this fandom treats transfem hcs and explicit genderbends, because like ive said before; they can truly be something so personal. you dont know why that person is drawing what theyre drawing, so its a little unwise to make assumptions based on ........ Well, whatever it may be. i know very well that women dressing the way society expects them to SUCKS, esp if you have personal ties to it, but you have to realize the issue isnt femininity, but misogyny.

HC; Receiving Comfort.

There's been a gradual shift when it comes actually dealing with what plagues him. Tough memories, failures, tinges of regrets, often times he finds himself needing a path or person he can meet halfway more than anything. People who try to 'sweep' the issue away, or try to distract him entirely from it are things he doesn't appreciate much at all.

Oftentimes being able to learn from others, whether a pearl of wisdom or their totality of life experiences is what he doesn't hesitate to seek. What Sora wishes to find are aspects that will help him stand firmer, to help diminish the weight upon his shoulders from mountain like weights to harmless dust. There's a sense of pride he holds as far as he come, and this is often given the same respect to many in their respective fields.

If measures like that are what a person primarily knows how to do? Things like small acts of service, from shared company to even slinging a snack his way can speak volumes. Time not only rest and recover, but to simply be in a peaceful presence of another can help swing him back to the right momentum.

Above all else? His way of life has to be respected. By now Sora has found himself sworn to this duty, to wielding the Keyblade and all the risks that come with it. Approach him as you would a companion, an individual, and push the coddling motions off to the wayside. Catching anything that attempts to diminish or 'care' beyond his boundary will be merely taken as disrespect, and will be given ceased.

The only exception to who he'll receive said coddling from are by his immediate family, and the people he deem as either his crushes or more intimately cemented as his lover.

Dragon cult was ancient and powerful semi-feudal church and occupied special place in nordic religion\life because it worshipped head of the nordic pantheon, associated with reign and rule; dragon priests were kingmakers and the medium between men and dragons

Unlike other cults dragon cult was spread across all the Skyrim in form of complex pattern, mirroring both distribution of dragons' junarre - dominions, and their hierarchy. Highest position was held by Alduin, next was Paarthurnax, but everything below changed relatively often because dragons fought each other eagerly

Common for a dragon was choosing themself a priest. Although many dragons actually had personal shrines full of clergy and servants, priest chosen by a dragon always had special role. When dragon gives a priest of his liking a new name and a mask, unbreakable bond ties two souls until last days of the chosen mortal

Masked priest held the dominion of their dragon - negotiated with human feudals (you can imagine human political map untop map of the dragon dominions: two different dimentions with often different borders, yet in the same place), collected taxes, managed the religious life of the local population. If dragon had almost nothing to rule then he could pick up himself a priest as only his mouth and companion

Usually (among those dragons who chose themselfs priests) there was one masked priest for one dragon. Exceptions existed, in rare cases there were two or even three priests for one dragon, or one priest for two dragons (i'm thinking about Naaslaarum and Voslaarum)

Usually dragons chose themselves a priest from, wel, priests: men and women trained inside of the dragon cult. But in some cases dragons could take a random person they liked; even Alduin himself did it few times

Masked priest is a voice of their lord. They command priests of dragons who are vassal to their lord; and, most importantly, sometimes they can command these dragons themselves. This was not a sacrilege [TW HETERONORMATIVITY :D]: you can think about masked priest as if they were their dragon's wife and war advisor and housecarl in one body

Alduin has eight masked priests, often called high priests; between them is all Skyrim divided in eight holds. High priest has the right to command any dragon and any dragon priest, but on regular basis certain priests and dragons are associated with every high priest

Priests who shared their life with their lords live longer than average humans but die anyway. After their death their dragons usually pick up new ones and gift them with new name and mask. But names and masks of the high priests are always the same since Atmoran times: Hevnoraak, Nahkriin, Krosis, Morokei, Otar, Rahgot, Vokun, Volsung. Mask Konahrik is ceremonial and represents the first dragon priest

Only high priests have the right to fight and kill dragons. For any other priest this is a sacrilege

I'm not sure I can get it out in just drawings (just because it's a lot) but I have quite a few I've already done if you wanna look through my tags~ I'll also explain a bit here with some of my old comics. Long post under the cut~

Canonically, Madame Boss is the founder of Team Rocket and Giovnanni's mother. Miyamoto was one of her elite agents and Jessie's mother. They're REALLY close as evidenced by how they talk to one another (ex. Madame Boss calling Miyamoto "Miyamoto chan", Miyamoto's informal way of speaking to Madame Boss despite her being her superior, their friendly banter, etc.). Madame Boss sends Miyamoto and two other Team Rocket members on a mission to find Mew, but she and the other members never return. Miyamoto's implied to still be alive, endlessly chasing Mew with Jessie as her north star and reason to keep going. Madame Boss passes away sometime between the radio drama and before the events of the first Pokémon Movie. You can listen to the whole drama here! Madame Boss and Miyamoto are primarily in the first part, but Miyamoto pops up at the end of each of the other parts at different periods of time.

This is more where my headcanons begin! Miyamoto, whose dub name I hc being (Calamity) Jane, joined Team Rocket mostly because of her not great circumstances. She works her way up the ladder quickly and impresses Madame Boss. They become close but at the time, Miyamoto was dating a charismatic performer/con man that MB, not so subtly, doesn't approve of. She was right to not approve as this man got Miyamoto pregnant but left her before he'd known.

Madame Boss, despite her penny pinching behavior (Team Rocket wasn't that big yet), does what she can to help out Miyamoto. They had to tread carefully though, they didn't want anyone thinking there was any sort of favoritism happening.

Jessie is born, and for a little while Miyamoto keeps her and raises her the best she can. On more short term missions she'd leave her with Madame Boss, who's not super fond of children, and would have her own son Giovanni watch her (or have another grunt in Team Rocket watch her). This wasn't sustainable, so Miyamoto quickly puts Jessie in foster care (the foster care part is canon). Miyamoto would still visit her daughter whenever she could.

Ultimately, Miyamoto was a very driven, one track minded woman. She would constantly go on missions and after discovering Mew, became obsessed. It was around this time Madame Boss was starting to catch feelings for Miyamoto. Miyamoto would play along but was not nearly as invested in their relationship is Madame Boss was. Not in a malicious or leading on sort of way, she just had a job she wanted to get done

When it was time for Miyamoto to go on the mission to actually find Mew, Madame Boss, while excited at the prospect of getting her hands on a legendary Pokémon and the money that came with that, began to worry in the days leading up to the mission and tried to get Miyamoto to stay. She offered to send a different team out. To her they were disposable, but Miyamoto wasn't. Miyamoto didn't take the offer, wanting the glory and money of finding Mew for herself (but also had a daughter she wanted to get back to and be able to provide for). She leaves and goes MIA

Madame Boss is brokenhearted and after several years of Miyamoto going missing, is not able to run Team Rocket, troubled by the immense amount of guilt and heartache, and Giovanni takes over. She remains in the organization, more so operating in the background. It was rare for agents to see her out and about. But years later she sees Jessie's joined Team Rocket as a trainee. She requests Viper and Giovanni keep an eye out for her. Viper doesn't know why but does as he's told. Giovanni understands, remembering Jessie as the little toddler he'd have to take care of many years ago as well as her mother Miyamoto, who he knew was very close to his mother.

Not too long after, Madame Boss passes away but Giovanni keeps his promise and continues to keep Jessie employed.

I don't think Jessie remembers much of her mom or anything from around this time. I don't think she even remembers her mom being in Team Rocket or Giovanni babysitting her. She just remembers her mother leaving and never coming back and holds some resentment, not knowing the context of why Miyamoto disappeared.

I've thought about doing a story where Miyamoto returns in my hanamusa au but I still gotta think it out more. It starts with Miyamoto stopping by Delia's restaurant and she and Delia talk, not knowing the little connection they have via Jessie.

Some points:

the tech in Baron Strucker's Hydra base is largely original. (The faceplate of the Ultron suit is either the same or very similar to the one seen beside the Hydra guns that Steve discovered in A1. Arnim Zola was the one who invented AI and mecha suits; not Tony.) The reason that tech looks exactly like Tony's creations is because... Tony and Hydra think the same way.

Baron Strucker was doing exactly what Tony is doing: creating an AI using the Mind Stone, to then create a Project Ultron under the AI's control to 'save' the world (but Hydra would probably call it Zola 2.0 or similar; only the name Ultron was Tony's).

When Ultron wanted to find a place with tech just like Stark Tower... he fled to Baron Strucker's base. The fact that that tech was still there for him to use is proof that Tony didn't tell the Avengers about it. If he had, they would have confiscated it all, and Ultron would've had nowhere to run.

Ultron's first move was to murder Baron Strucker, while he was in custody (having got the location of vibranium out of him; like father like son). Had he lived, Strucker would've been able to tell the Avengers what Tony's baby was planning... because it's exactly what Hydra would do.

Tony sees he and Hydra have exactly the same methodology and goal and instead of thinking about the implications of that his only response is 'great now I get to do Ultron.'

And he knows it's wrong because he goes out of his way to keep it a secret from everyone but Bruce Banner, whose help he needs. (Which he gets by emotionally manipulating him, playing the friendship card... which is kind of sad when you consider Bruce's backstory. IIRC Bruce is the only one Tony tells about the tech in Strucker's base.)

The Avengers are stumped as to where Ultron has gone when Tony really should've been able to guess... if he had bothered to share with the group. Think how much better the outcome would've been if he had told them!

Even after Ultron tries to kill everyone on the planet, and despite pretending to admit he was wrong, Tony keeps thinking his and Hydra's idea was fine. As proven by the above 👆 and by the fact that he made E.D.I.T.H. so he could keep doing Insight 2.0 and being a disastrous mass-murdering egomaniac even after he was dead. Just like Arnim Zola too, now I think about it.

His own future-wife Pepper compares Tony's company dealings with the military-industrial complex to NASA's employment of Wernher Von Braun, the SS Officer.

Bucky wasn't brainwashed, he was mind-controlled. (There's an argument to be made that he was also brainwashed... but it didn't take; it wasn't brainwashing that made him do what TWS did. As shown in CATWS, Hydra trying to reason with him to do as he's told didn't work -- as it would on a brainwashed person. They had to use full blown mind-control.) Sidenote: Clint Barton tried to kill Tony himself while he was mind-controlled, but was welcomed onto the same team as him within a day, without any drama!

Depsite how Black Hat and Demencia often tear him down, you can see exactly how he's just as effective a villain as anyone else. You make a point to bring attention to this, and he gleefully brags about his 80k recorded crimes ("And those are only the ones they could prove!")

Working for Black Hat definitely never helped with his self-esteem, so he's prone to accidentally talking down about himself. You try to combat that by giving him positive affirmations whenever possible, reassuring that you've never minded his occasional skittishness and that you could never be annoyed with him over something so small

Was thinking about a lil kaishin hc again, as I always do, but then again, I'm me, ans I thrive for side effects of the aptx antidote

Post Conan, I think shinichi would have a lot and I mean ALOT of side effects. Having grown in the body of a child for... let's say 2 years maybe? (I think it'd take a while to finally take down the Black org and when they actually do, the antidote isn't there and they have to end up taking down other branches of the organisation for anything about the poison and then they cheer).

First of all, My favourite one, he has chronic pain. It's mostly from the amount of temporary antidotes he's taken, so the size of bones and muscles changing so many times, yea, that kinda develops it.

He'd have that on and off pain where when it'd come to a random time, he'd just feel ache and stinging everywhere. The first time it happens, he thinks it's the antidote not working and that he's gonna turn back to Conan, but it happens MULTIPLE times for weeks, so he ends up building up a fake name and identity with his mother's help and gets it checked out.

I like to think that shinichi would hide it from kaito during their getting together days. He doesn't wanna worry people anymore, so he ends up unintentionally hiding it, the only people who know are haibara, since she's his kind of doctor, then there's the professor for obvious reasons cuz shinichi just tells him everything, and then Ran. He doesn't directly tell her, she just witness it .

Kaito only finds out when he's coming back from a heist where he noticed that shinichi wasn't there. So he kinda doesn't care to change put of his KID uniform and just barges into the house through the window, and there it is, Shinichi sitting on the bed with a heating bad on his lap and painkillers in hand.

It's hard for shinichi to explain it, so haibara is there instead, and kaito doesn't get it at first and doesn't know what to do, shinichi is fine with that, ye never intended to have kaito deal with it, but then is later surprised when the pain comes back again and suddenly kaito is the most professional care taker put there, (he totally didn't spent the next hours after finding out about it just doing research and going around as an intern or student in hospitals to see how professionals deal with it).

Shinichi doesn't think he's ever fallen for a man harder, he's squealing and kicking his feet at the next moment he can.

Another one I really like to write is the him not realizing hes not conan anymore, and so is his body (and we actually wintesses that in an ep and i found that really funny).

I feel like from changing between the body of a 7yr old to an adult so many times, it's just cause an alternation in everything in his body. I think he'd forget that he should eat in amount that an adult should, and ends up with a kids serving , or even when he's eating out with anymore, like kaito or heiji, one of them just goes "You're not Conan anymore yknow?" And then he just mentally slaps himself and orders something else.

Other than that there's the childishness, shinichi, as shinichi, not Conan, saying alele KILLED me, and he might definitely keep going with that or other terms he's used to. I feel like whoever someone's amazed at how quick he works , he'll just send them that childish grin all happy and stuff. The person who'd catch onto it most is Takagi, he's all like. "Conan used to do this too... hmmm.. what if- no- but- no"

In kaishins pov, I think shinichi would mostly act normal, he's used to being himself around kaito, so it's easy to adjust to him being back again, but maybe he'd make the voice or say something when hanging around with someone who knew him purely as Conan. And kaito would tease him about it for the rest of that night.

The part where his body has alternated is in like. His immunity, which would make him sick a lot more, or blood issues. That guy would 101% get anaemia from that kids serving he eats throughout the day (he definitely forgets to eat) , so you just find the guy all pale and zoning our more often and always tired. It gets to a point where he passes out when out of a trip with kaito, and kaito being himself, DRAGS shinichi to a near by medical center or doctor them finds out shinichis iron or haemoglobin level is like, 4 when the normal is 12, and kaito is struck harder when he finds out it takes A LONG time to get it back up to normal again.

Not to mention he always has some cold or fever, hes basically making kaito his personal 24/7 illness caretaker, and at first it's sweet, kaito being careful and stuff ti starting to think shinichis faking it (he's going through his denial era, don't mind him) and he's all huffy and just forces shinichi to stay in bed all day, then realizes it's real and goes all sweet again.

Shinichis reaction to all this? Tired, he just wants to go on cases and heists but he's always watched by kaitos doves to do that.
