I looked for this because of this ask sent to Gina @twopoppies. The moment starts around 12:00. I also agree with Gina that Roman seems to know H & Lou personally since at least 2017. And I'm pretty sure he knows they're (practically) married. We know they don't hide in professional circles (as well as with adult family and friends), but Roman also knows he's not supposed to mention it publicly, so the 'don't say that' makes perfect sense. Ironically, Roman's also the one who called Louis "Louis Styles" twice in succession in a livestream in 2020 while talking very quickly, before becoming self-aware and realising his mistake.

AITA for not telling my friends my secret and then ghosting them?

I (17F) have been keeping a huge secret from my friends Y, A, and S (all 18F): I'm transgender. It's... not exactly a secret among my classmates, but that leaves me as an outcast.

I've tried to tell S in particular before, but I chickened out and she promised she'd wait for me. Come a year later and I'm determined to do it after a school festival. It was going to be at the same place I tried to do it before, but I got called away to help a classmate with an emergency and sent her ahead.

...unfortunately, S ended up talking to three of my classmates (all 17M I think), and one of them asked her if she was a guy like me. This is how she found out about my secret. I didn't get to tell her, and had to watch in horror as they said awful things.

I ended up running away from her, even though based on her reactions she was going to accept me. I was scared for things to change, and I would rather cut S and the others out of my life before I have a chance to be hurt more. So I did. I blocked their contacts and skipped more school than usual. I wasn't risking any of them finding me--thankfully they don't know where I live.

So... AITA?

Boys in the Band star Matt Bomer reflected on the beginnings of his acting career and being outed by Perez Hilton on the latest episode of Jesse Tyler Ferguson’s Dinner's On Me podcast.

Though he formally came out at Steve Chase Humanitarian Awards in 2012, the actor recalls how his private life was blogger fodder for Perez Hilton in the early 2000s.

"It was a time when folks could kind of take over your own personal narrative before you even had a chance to," recalled the heartthrob. "I remember outlets like Perez Hilton talking about my personal life before I had ever had a chance to even do it myself. And it wasn’t because I didn’t want to; I didn’t even have an opportunity to."

Though he wasn't closeted per se, Bomer called it "a weird time."

"No media outlet was ever going like 'Hey!' I just didn’t have a career that warranted that," he said. No one cared about his story at that time, Bomer told Ferguson, because he wasn't a big enough name. "It felt kind of unfair to me, that that was stolen by people who did have a microphone at the time."

Bomer formally came out at the Steve Chase Humanitarian Awards in 2012 when he was honoured for his HIV activism and he thanked his family on stage during the acceptance speech.

"I’d really especially like to thank my beautiful family: Simon, Kit, Walker, Henry. Thank you for teaching me what unconditional love is. You will always be my proudest accomplishment," he said.

The actor told Ferguson that he did it because he didn't want his husband Simon Halls or his three boys "to feel like they were some kind of shameful secret or something I was sweeping under the rug so I could have a great career."

Sonny joins a dating app and he’s nervous because he’s never been with another man before. But his crush on Barba made him realize he likes men, so he wants to try dating men since he thinks Barba isn’t interested. Someone on the squad (you can make an OC or have it be an established character) sees him on the app and thinks it would be really funny to make a fake profile and make him think he’s matched with Barba just so that they can embarrass him about it later since they know about his pretty obvious crush on the guy. Carisi is really vulnerable and excited to match with him, but it turns out the person uses it to not only out him as lgbt but also spreads the chats around, which have some pretty private, vulnerable truths in there that Carisi wasn’t going to make public. The person thinks everyone else will find it funny, but Sonny is absolutely gutted and humiliated, and the squad is immediately furious and upset on his behalf. Especially Barba, who witnesses the ‘reveal’ and is piiiissssed because he really does like Sonny and he knows it’s just going to undermine the detectives confidence. He decides to go after him, try and comfort him, and see if there is a relationship to be salvaged between them or if Sonny has been scared off from even trying. I guess basically someone using Sonny’s crush to trick and humiliate him, the squad being ultra protective, and Barba being put in the uncomfortable situation where he not only has to witness it but also has to go out of his comfort zone to try and be there for the hurt detective and maybe show some vulnerability of his own. (Tried sending this one to Barisistill but the ask was getting swallowed/stuck in a loading screen after hitting send (u can tag them if u want to but I’ll leave it open to anyone) so I’m sending it here instead if anyone wants to take it and write my dream fic for me)
