Over Arms is a TTRPG by Rookie Jet Studio made to emulate anime series like Jojo's Bizarre Adventure and other series you don't care about as much. We thought it'd be funny to make a cat in this who was as close to invincible as we were allowed to get it, the trade-off being that he's a wimpy idiot. But that doesn't stop him from using his Anima to sabotage corporate land development projects!

Over Arms by Rookie Jet Studio is a rules-light tabletop RPG designed to replicate media like JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Persona, FATE ,Shaman King and more, where select people are able to develop an "Anima", a powerful psychic manifestation of their own psyche and will, that can assist their "User" in a myriad of ways in and out of combat based on the strengths of their individually unique abilities, as they unravel the mystery around them while discovering a new world within them.

sometimes I randomly think about the time a girl posted in this girls only Facebook group I’m in telling everyone how she broke up with her boyfriend and he lied saying that he lost the spare key she gave him, only to then break into her apartment when she wasn’t home and steal the cat they’d adopted while they were together, but then he denied having done this and she didn’t really have proof that he took the cat since he wouldn’t let her come into his place and look for it. And then another girl saw this post and knew her ex-boyfriend, and she was like “girl. I used to hook up with your mans back in xxxx and I still have his number. If you want, I’ll hit him up and get him to invite me back to his place and see if your cat’s there.” And the OP was like “bet.”

So this woman hit up homie dog, asked him out for drinks, went home with him, slept with him, and then woke up in the middle of the night and TOOK THE CAT. Like she had only said that she would confirm if the cat was there but then she took it upon herself to steal this woman’s cat back. Like she full on Trojan horsed this man and then hit up homegirl like “I got the goods. Where you wanna meet.” And then the two of them posted a photo of them together with the cat to the group.

And I just think women supporting women is so beautiful.

Chuuya’s so funny because he literally shows up to do the bare minimum (unless Dazai is involved).

Like mfkr, you’re the strongest person in the world, what do you mean “oh no! he sliced through the helicopter blades! What are we going to do?!”

Your power is near limitless. Take your pick of defensive techniques. Throw him to space. Grind him to dust. Carry the helicopter away???

Why are you making people jump out of planes and sacrifice their lives when you can juggle the opps until their brains are mush?

He’s like “Mori said let them on the helicopter. I did my part.”

Family of Distinguished People.

So like what if, the Fenton family is just a family full of heroes, villains, and vigilantes. like.. just imagine a long line of people that had or has contributed to the world somehow. Like the Fenton parents as Supervillains, Jazz as a Vigilante, Danny as Hero. Dani just decides to travel not too interested, but does help with her family if needed, Dan does the same thing.

BUT WHAT IF joker is actually a close relative of the Fenton Family (ex. Uncle, Cousin,Family Friend) and like he's just there all happy with his (found)family during family reunions, birthdays and shit.

And the batfam are just like so confused and stressed to why the joker goes missing once a month.

While Joker is literally having a game of Monopoly with the elementary kids at amity park (the kids couldn't bother, they've saw scarier things they handled scarier things) cue Joker giving the kids a hundred dollars because he lost.

This is just one of my what if prompts, that i got locked up in a vault. Might delete this later who knows.

This Month on the Literal Cat Podcast (August 2023)

As Anime Summer Season begins to wind down, we finally get around to the essence of what Anime is all about: Jojo references and Isekai stories with ridiculously long titles!

On August 9, we'll bring you an Over Arms character Creation session, where we give an anarchist cat with permanent Puss-In-Boots Face a Stand.

Then, on August 23, we get Isekai'd to the kingdoms of Ceria and create a demon lord cat, brought to you by a cult of catgirl demons. Oh, and of course the game This World Summons Too Many Heroes!!

This shall be the end of Anime Summer Season, and after kicking off September with our 30th-episode Special Lightning Round, we'll be back to our regularly scheduled, randomly selected RPG programming!!! Hope you've had a good summer so far!

Also, MAN, can you believe we've been doing this for over a year at this point? Our one-year anniversary came and went in July and we barely even acknowledged it! Just felt like saying it here and now, while I'm writing all this out anyway.
