Wearing your brother’s dog tags brings a lot of questions, which meant problems. Especially from men, especially at a bar where said men try to pick you up. Or strike a conversation about the mysterious dog tags. Lucky for you a certain Scot lovingly doesn’t think to ask too many questions. Not until Johnny “Soap” Mactavish’s tongue is down your throat in the back of his car on holiday do the gears begin to turn. But only, yes only after, a few odd weekends of small dates and letters when he can write, he finally decides to ask who your tags belong to between deep kisses and pants. You frown as you pull away to respond, the mood dampened.

“Oh I really shouldn’t say..” you sigh not wanting to explain the long story typically because it ruins the mood “my brother gave me these so I wouldn’t worry about him when he leaves on missions. His call sign is Ghost and…” Shit. Johnny’s whole body seizes up as his heart makes a pitfall down his body. His hearing stops as his brain repeats your joined last name over and over and over; Riley, Riley Riley Riley. Fuck why didn’t he connect the dots. Ghost always was secretive and protective about his younger sister, everyone knew he always declined to bring you as his plus one or even show photos to the rest of the 141. Damnit he knows somewhere down the line if Gaz or even worse Price hears about this that he’ll never live it down. If Ghost hears about this - shit he’ll never live. He finally zones back in to hear you say

“…but that doesn’t matter because you guys don’t run in the same circles, right?” Soap’s nervous smile gives you all the time for your heart to join his in dropping down below. But as your phone rings both of you are sure your hearts have dropped down to hell as the caller id reads: Simon Riley.

The fact that Owl lets Wren talk about his daughter that way makes him an F- dad in my honest opinion. I see people saying that Wren is blunt in a refreshing way, but I think you’ve done a good job at making her straight up mean because I haven’t seen much blunt honesty, more like general apathy and rudeness. She didn’t care about whether or not they had children, which is a huge responsibility, and she hasn’t exactly gone out of her way to be friendly to Owl’s little family.

And Owl venting putting frustrations about being a single parent to Violet on her for being frustrated with his frigid wife is never acceptable, imho. He lets his wife talk badly about his daughter, stays married to someone who talks badly about his daughter, and doesn’t see any red flags when Wren shows inherent apathy towards having kids, and didn’t seem to give a second thought to telling Violet to gtfo. I think Owl is both spineless and not too bright, and Wren is taking full advantage of that.

This is a good comic, genuinely, I’m invested in their terrible lives. Keep the drama comin’.

You hit the nail on the head! Owl isn't the worst ever, but he's not exactly a good person either because, well...That's just how things are for him.

He's always been this way. He's so passive that he prefers to just stand by and let things happen than risk someone getting mad AT HIM.

I will say this though: Y'all can interpret BranchClan however you want! And like who you want! All I ask is that you please remain respectful and remember that we're all people behind a screen staring at little pixel cats. 🙏

OK so I have this HC that Leo and Piper call eachother "Babe" completely platonically.

Like Leo will be working on smth in bunker 9 and Piper is there vibing and he asks her to pass him something and she's like "sure thing babe"

They do this in public too.

And unless you knew them they possibly seem like a couple. But they're not. They're purely platonic

On the Argo II when this probably happened everyone (exept Annabeth and Jason cause they were around them for the last few months and were used to it) was so confused cause they thought Jason and Piper were dating then Jason explains that it's just them and what they do.

This is basically in the same vain as people saying Style (South Park) use "Dude" Romantically (which I 100% believe they would)

Hoodie Weather

“Where’s your coat?” Donna asks. The Doctor looks up from the console, missing his signature trench coat.

          “I put it down somewhere, I forgot where I left it.” He runs around the console “Where to?”

          “Somewhere warm, or you’ll freeze to death” Donna laughs, poking The Doctor’s arm.

          “Oh, nonsense. Time Lords don’t get cold.” The TARDIS bursts to life with the push of a button “Off we go!”

          The planet, Donna didn’t catch the name, was cold. Not freezing, but cold. The Doctor immediately drags her off, like he always does. Donna laughs. The Doctor puts an arm around her as the two walk.

          “Doctor, are you cold?” Donna asks, noticing how The Doctor nearly curled into her side

          “Not at all,” he quickly moves away “I told you, Time Lords don’t get cold”

 The two of them eventually end up at a show, in a heated arena. The Doctor visibly relaxes, and Donna takes off her coat and hoodie. The Doctor curls against her side.

“Does the warmth feel good?” Donna asks as she plays with her friend’s hair.

“It does,” The Doctor smiles up at Donna “Not that I was cold before.”

The Doctor shivers as they go back into the cold air. Donna takes off her jacket and offers it to him, laughing at his insistent decline. He scoffs and drags her off to the next amazing thing. The Doctor ordered a cold drink at dinner, Donna hid a smirk at the shiver when he took a sip. The two laugh as the waiter mistakes them for a couple.

“You know, that just keeps happening,” The Doctor chuckles.

“Because you’re so clingy, Spaceman!” Donna laughs. The Doctor denies this vehemently. “You are! And I know you didn’t lose your coat!”

“You do?” The Doctor stammers, cheeks turning red.

“I saw it in the TARDIS before we left,” Donna leans in closer “I think you took us to a cold planet, left your coat, and refused mine as an excuse to get me to hug you” The Doctor looks down and nods.

“Are you mad?” He asks timidly, Donna answers by hugging him.

I find it quite funny that a few years ago, my perspective of the lgbtqia community was “ew, no. I don’t like them, I mean they can do what they want to do, but I don’t like it, also pronouns are what you look like, no exceptions.” Now it’s “yay, lgbtqia, yall still can do whatever you want to do, I like yall platonically, yall can have whatever pronouns and I’ll try to get them right, also yay trans people!” This conversion happened slowly, till I joined as aroace.
