a few years ago I remember there was this big discourse topic on dogblr/catblr about “is it ever good husbandry to crate a cat” with people getting very heated back and forth on both sides and I believe the eventual final word was “no don’t ever crate a cat you fucking idiot” which I quietly disagreed with at the time but didn’t really want to get into fights about it. but anyway I’m reminded of that conversation frequently because almost every time a vet at my work sends home a cat to recover after orthopedic surgery or neuro procedures, the discharge instructions very neatly and firmly tell the owner to keep the cat in a large dog crate while recovering unsupervised. anyway.

👀k, so... quick question: In Raph's timeline, were the Krangg ever defeated, or were they completely dominant over Raph and the world? Did Mikey have to force Raph through the portal and sever his connection afterwards? How did that go?

I drew this for fun the other night to take a little break from answering all y'all's wonderful asks <3 Of course then I realized that this would be perfect for answering this ask so uh XD

Grabbing Raphael was probably the most. . . challenging of the three brothers.

Leo was all for it, Donnie took a little persuading.

But for Raph, Mikey had to physically restrain him to get close enough to sever the Kraang's control over the big guy.

The hardest part was definitely the fact that Miguel had to first get Raph out of his timeline, because the Kraang were definitely top dog there.

They knew Mikey was there the moment he got to Raph, (all thanks to the hive mind complex) and he barely had enough time to escape with his brother.

I have plans on hopefully making a comic or maybe separate smaller comics that'll elaborate on Operation: Bro-covery further, but for now here's a little sneak peak of sorts into Raph's rescue X3

These were meant to be warmups. ANYWHO!

Went to a random palette site and picked ones that were reminiscent of Wally's colors but still very different that I liked and grabbed some outfits to do a sort of challenge for myself. Idk, thought it would help me out of my funk.

Suffice to say, I'm feeling a bit better now~ These were really fun to do!!!
