excluding anakin who are your fav star wars characters ?
hmmm okay i mean Obi-Wan is definitely up there, Ewan’s version is one of my absolute favorites, and i tend to think of Obi-Wan as one of the wisest jedi in the whole story
i do really love Leia, especially what they did with her character in the sequels. and speaking of the sequels, even though it’s my least favorite trilogy, seeing Rey be force sensitive actually did something special to me when i saw tfa in theaters—there just had never been like, a main jedi chosen one character who was a girl in the movies before that, so i really appreciated that. i do also love kylo ren, eep
outside of the movies, i love Kanan Jarrus obviously (wrote a whole thing about him, which maybe i’ll continue soon) and i also really like Ahsoka as a character, i’m excited to see what they do with her in live action
i’m also super into star wars animals—like, the aliens that don’t talk and aren’t humanized, i guess. give me a bantha, give me a porg, i fucking love all of them so much

I like to think Obi-wan, Anakin and Ahsoka live together in the temple. They all have their own rooms but kitchen, living room and sun room are all shared. Anakin makes breakfast, on Tattooine food is shown as pure love. Making breakfast is seen as the greatest love.
Obi-wan makes lunches, he packs the most healthy bento box styled lunches. Perhaps he hides a bit of sweets and treats into their lunches along with notes of encouragement. Anakin’s bento box is the largest, it has a design of gears and a wrap in blue along with a large thermos of tea. Anakin just burns calories so he eats the most. Obi-wan’s is very balanced, he has a box with lunar bunnies on it with a deep blue background the wrap is yellow and also a thermos of tea. Ashoka’s people are meat based, she doesn’t handle grain or vegetables well. So egg bread buns filled with delectable meats, skewers and bacon…aka dessert. Ahsoka’s bento is shaped like a porg winking and holding a fork. Her wrap is red. She gets tea as well.
Ahsoka makes the midday snack, preparing steamed buns and tea for her and her masters.
Anakin, Ahsoka and Obi-wan cook dinner together and talk about their day.
Idk I think it’s cute

Post fix-it (Anakin doesn’t go Dark and fulfills the prophecy, clones get civil rights, everyone is happy or on the way to it). Cody speaks about problems concerning clones’ and his own appearance. Hurt\comfort, romance, discussion of sexual harassment.
Only a couple of months ago Cody wouldn’t believe if anyone told him that the war would be over, and the Clone Rights Bill would pass. Yes, a lot of work is needed to be done – settling cadets and shinies saved from Kamino, helping the Jedi get back into ‘diplomatic’ style, figuring out what the veterans want to do with their lives – but right now Cody is content and doesn’t think about it. At least, he tries. Obi-Wan is sitting right next to him in a cozy loveseat, in front of the cracking fire, leaning into him and reading some news on his holopad. Cody promised himself that he won’t speak about heavy topics at night – they both have had enough during the daytime, and Obi-Wan needs some rest after he and other Jedi rummaged through Sith artifacts they found hidden by Palpatine.
But a couple of thoughts, doubts are nagging in the back of Cody’s mind.
And Obi-Wan must have felt it, because he closes the pad and turns to him.
Cody raises an eyebrow in a lame attempt to avert the attention.
 – What is bothering you, my dear? – Concern is written all over his face, and Cody hates it.
 – Nothing serious. Just some stupid thoughts, not important.
 – Which are so not important that your uneasy emotions emanate all around?
Cody remembers how hurt Obi-Wan was after discovering all the lies Anakin Skywalker had been hiding through several years – from negative emotions like fear and jealousy to secret marriage to murder of the whole Tusken tribe. Now he knows Cody’s also hiding something… Of course, it’s nothing as bad as it was with Skywalker, but the fact remains.
 – Well, sir… Obi-Wan, - Cody’s still not used to calling him familiarly. He shifts a little bit facing him fully. – I’ve heard some brothers mentioning that before, and, frankly, I still don’t know what is the right way to react and what to do.
Obi-Wan furrows eyebrows, but listen attentively, and more concern bleeds into his eyes. And Cody hasn’t even told yet what actually happened.
 – They weren’t complaining per se, just confused. They say when they come out onto the streets, sometimes, I guess, some not very polite strangers – some natborns comment on them. You know… appearance. Call them pretty or handsome or attractive while not being asked for any kind of such compliments. And… I suppose, we are attractive to some, though it’s hard to tell when you see your face every day and you don’t even need a mirror, - Cody lets out a small self-deprecating smile, but Obi-Wan only furrows further. – They’re confused – during the war we also walked around sometimes without our buckets on, but no one reacted like that. No one noticed any attractiveness. But now, as we’re still in the centre of attention, now suddenly they see us.
Obi-Wan opens the mouth, but Cody isn’t finished yet:
 – Today I was walking to my workshop to complete these wooden porg toys for younglings, when someone stopped me and started flirting with me. – He feels uneasy even thinking about it. He’s never felt so awkward before. Not even after he kissed Obi-Wan for the first time and then started mulling over – maybe, he was kissing badly, maybe, he had a bad breath – and not even when after this his former General began reassuring him everything was fine. No, it was a feeling similar to when after several years with the Jedi respecting them and teaching self-worth he looked back on their collective life on Kamino. They were created for the Republic. Units to serve. To be used and discarded. But then the Jedi insisted that they’re not units, but people. Everyone deserves respect. And they were mistreated both by the Kaminoans and the Senate. It was impossible to even start realizing that it shouldn’t have been like that. How must they react now to the previous treatment they’ve got used to? Especially these days, when they’re recognized as sentients? Quite often they were never seen at all or as furniture at best. But now they are at last considered, called pretty, so it is good, right? But why does it feel wrong? – And it felt wrong. I was looked at, admired for my physic, but I wasn’t seen at all. It doesn’t make sense, right? – Cody chuckles self-deprecatingly again, feeling stupid for not being able to figure out his own emotions.
 – It does. – Obi-Wan sighs. – First you’re not seen at all, now you’re seen as beautiful dolls. Two sides of the same coin. It shall take time for the general public to realize fully that you have the same rights of respect as anyone else. And it does make sense you do not feel good when called like that, especially when not asked for any kind of such attention. I think I shall talk to Healer Che and Knight Secura about it, maybe Master Tapal also – they can organize something for the Brothers, some lessons specifically about such situations. Mace should know, too – I think about political implications of addressing such attitude…
 – Isn’t it too much? Overreacting? – Cody doesn’t want any trouble for both his brothers or the Jedi. Catches Obi-Wan’s somber gaze and deflates: - I guess it’s not. Thank you for bothering.
 – Not bothering, it’s serious, - Obi-Wan’s eyes are immensely sad now. – I’m so sorry it happens to you all. Thanks for telling me.
One boulder is off Cody’s shoulders.
 – But there’s something else, right?
 – Yeah, it’s more personal… and really stupid, - Cody hesitates, then tugs his shirt, pulls it over his head and throws on the floor. Rolls his shoulders, straightening his back: - Who do you see?
Obi-Wan is obviously taken aback – both by question and by Cody’s actions. As they haven’t been that intimate. Taking time, not hurrying into naked business. So Obi-Wan hasn’t seen him shirtless… in romantic context, let’s say.
Cody likes the way his General’s… former General’s gaze wanders over him – quickly, not wanting to be intrusive. But clearly interested. But the doubt – unreasonable, as he tries to convince himself – rots all the joy.
 – I see you. Why do you ask?
 – Don’t you think about… Jango Fett?
Obi-Wan looks offended.
 – I’m his clone, I look the same, and you’d met him long before you met me, - Cody prods with some masochistic insistence. – You’ve told me I’m different in the Force. But our outwards are identical.
Obi-Wan sighs and takes his hand gently.
 - Will you believe me if I say I haven’t thought about him in what – three years? I never ever seen not a tiniest bit of Jango Fett in any of you. The Force signature, shall I say, impacts how we, the Force-sensitives, especially the trained ones, perceive the world…
 – But do you find me… handsome? – Cody interrupts him – he knows what Obi-Wan’s is trying to tell him. He’s heard it before – “You feel steady and warm, like a sun”. He never expected sex issues to be so complicated, he thinks to himself.
 – I do, - Obi-Wan sounds as if he’s saying a vow. – Cody, I have no intention to be insensitive, but do you presume that when I’m with you, I imagine… Rex instead of you? Or Waxer? Or literally any of your brothers?
The idea is the most moronic ever, despite Obi-Wan’s serious voice. Cody even laughs:
 – Course, not! – he catches the idea his Jedi is conveying and lets the other boulder fall. He smiles warmly, feeling easy: - I hate being beaten by my own logic.
 – I know it may be hard for you, darling, - Obi-Wan starts and then smiles back. Cody knows he feels the change in his emotions, because the concern on his face fades away. For now, at least. – Well, Cody…
 – Yes? – Cody is alert, as per usual. Obi-Wan blushes and ducks his head a little bit – Cody finds it adorable. – What is it, sir? – he teases, flashing a flirty smile. He already suspects what he’ll be asked about, and it feels gloriously absolutely opposite to what happened this day.
 – Would you allow me to touch you? – Obi-Wan doesn’t look confident – obviously remembers Cody’s not nice experience too. – Of course, the fact you took off your shirt doesn’t oblige you to agree, and it was rude of me to assume you’d enjoy hearing that, especially after today’s unfortunate experience…
 – I want it, - Cody doesn’t intent for Obi-Wan to feel as if he did something wrong. Because he didn’t.
Obi-Wan slowly stretches his hand and lays it on Cody’s chest. The touch is gentle and warm, very careful. His heart is fluttering, and there’s a funny feeling in the stomach – intensified by the intimacy of the situation.
Cody cannot take his eyes off Obi-Wan’s face, mesmerized by love written all over it.
 – You’re beautiful, - the hand slowly slides lower, on his belly, tracing tense muscles. – Dear, you are beautiful, - finger pads move up, circling chest muscles, brushing the nipple – the latter causes a tremor of pleasant vulnerability in Cody. The hand travels over his shoulder, mapping every inch of skin.
Cody presses his hand to Obi-Wan’s cheek – the beard scratches, but he likes it. Then he lowers it and touches the hem of his Jedi’s shirt, looking questioningly into his eyes. He’s not sure if he oversteps the boundaries – maybe, Obi-Wan is not ready to go this far as Cody is.
 – How can anyone say no to these puppy eyes? – Obi-Wan laughs quietly. – Not that I ever wanted, - he raises his arms, allowing Cody to take the shirt off and throw it away to his own.
Cody wants to have a look, but he only catches fair skin before Obi-Wan throws his arms around Cody’s neck, presses himself into him and plants a long and really nice kiss on lips. Cody isn’t stupid to complain about it – especially when he hugs him back, feels warmth and lean muscles under his palms, heat of chest and stomach against his own. And he moves closer, exploring Obi-Wan’s back, taking in all scars – his heart squeezes with ‘there could have been no scars, if not this karking war’. He interrupts the kiss only to press his lips to the shoulder sprayed with faint freckles. He feels like he’ll explode of tenderness. Feels Obi-Wan caressing his shoulder blades and neck, kissing his temple.
 – It’s all right, darling, it’s all right, - the Jedi murmurs into his ear, practically cradling him. Cody doesn’t like the somber in his voice, so he uses his weight to tackle Obi-Wan down into the loveseat. Hears delighted chuckle into his ear and grins, shifting himself to look into his eyes. Then leans for a kiss, and the initiative is met with vigour.

Absolutely cannot BELIEVE these are going to be from the same special.  Vader in a beach tee and sun hat WITH PORGS ON IT, Obi-Wan in a Hawaiian shirt, and I don’t even care if they probably aren’t in the same scene, LEGO knows what I want and it is BEACH VACATION WITH THESE TWO IDIOTS. The only way it could possibly be better is if they animated that one comic. YOU KNOW.  THIS ONE:
Tumblr media
LOOK AT ANAKIN’S HAIR THEY BOTH ARE NOT WEARING SHOES OR SOCKS OBI-WAN IS TELLING ANAKIN TO RELAX GOD I LOVE WHEN STAR WARS GETS RIDICULOUS (CASUAL REMINDER:  IN THIS COMIC, FIVE SECONDS LATER, OBI-WAN IS TAKING OFF ACROSS THE BEACH TO HUNT DOWN A CRIMINAL SO YOU KNOW POT MEET KETTLE)

Pre-OT - Cursed Noodle Vaderkin
Summary: After another reckless stunt, the Force is tired of Vader's antics and transforms him into a small dragon. It then put him on Ahsoka's path.
Era: At some point after RotS and Twilight of the Apprentice
Characters: Darth Vader, Ahsoka Tano
Main tropes: Non consensual animal transformation (listen, i love that one), Kidnapping your fallen jedi master, Force shenanigans
---
Snippet:
Vader blinked. Or tried to. His current form did not seem to possess eyelids.
It did possess a passable set of lungs as well as six working limbs, which most people would have called an improvement. Vader did not. The sudden assault of smells, colors and heat confused his senses. Every few seconds he had to remind himself to breathe, the habit long lost in profit of going along the suit ventilator.
He had been walking in circles trying to get back to Coruscant after his last mission, only for the universe to try to stop him. First, his life support had broken under his opponent’s lightsaber blow. Then, the Jedi he had been chasing had escaped, helped by some rebels Vader had made sure would not come back. To top it all, as Vader wondered if he would die, the ventilator unable to provide crucial oxygen to his lungs, the Force had bent and twisted until it made him into this.
His reflection in water had not been much help determining his species. A porg-sized lizard of some kind, although it seemed to have wings. Vader barely attempted to move them. The additional limbs felt foreign in his mind.
Vader made another step, snarling at the branch who tripped him.
This place was filled with nothing but rats and porgs and banthas. That, and the ship he had seen landing in the distance. Vader was certain he could slither in and steal it. His current form may not have a thumb, but it would not be the first time he used the Force to pilote.
A convor dove at him, its claws scratching at Vader’s armor-scales. His wings raised by instinct as he hissed. The bird should have known better than to challenge a Sith Lord. Vader threw the Dark at it, intending to crush the impudent bird, only for his control to slip and the blow to overshoot. As it happened, all the convor felt was a breeze slightly disturbing its flight. It dove again.
Vader cursed as he slipped under a crevice. Something was wrong with the Force. He could feel it just fine, but his control was barely better than a youngling. It was as if all the midichlorians in his body had shifted. Which, looking at the paws clawing at the sandy earth of the crevice, wasn’t that far away from the truth.
“Morai?” a humanoid called.
Vader perked up. He knew that voice.
“Is anyone here?”
Memories of a young togruta laughing flashed in his mind.
Could it be…?
The convor dove again as soon as it saw Vader muzzle out of his hidhole. Vader scrambled back. That person was dead. It must have been his imagination.
Vader focused on the arrogant creature that dared make him his prey. It felt rather weird for a convor, the Light bending too unnaturally around the bird’s presence for it to not be Force Sensitive. Whenever Vader Force-pushed it, the blow dissipated before it ever reached the convor. His low control wasn’t enough to explain it.
Several seconds passed without the bird diving back at Vader’s crevice. Perhaps the accursed being had finally given up and chosen an easier meal. Tentatively, Vader dared one paw out. Boots blocked his way.
“Morai. What did you find?”
Vader scrambled back, only for fiery skin to descend on him. He definitely did not yelp as warm fingers slid beneath his belly to lift him up in the air. He bit the offending arm, but the stranger's hands held him strong.
“Ouch. You are quite a wild little one, aren’t you?” Ahsoka chuckled.
Vader stilled. His scales flattened as he bared his teeth against the truth. This sight should not be possible.
 Anakin Skywalker’s Apprentice was dead.
And yet, the buzzing bond between them whispered another true as two tattered threads reached for each other to mend. He hurried to pull back his side of the bond, but it slipped away from his grasp. Worse, their skin touching only strengthens the bond’s mending. Vader felt the moment they connected. A shiver ran down his skin as Light burned his inside. Simultaneously, Ahsoka’s eyes widened in recognition.
She held him up to her face level, lekkus twitching as she stared into what he knew must be golden eyes.
“Anakin?”
---
Plot Description:
The Force did not wish for its Son to suffer. It waited and waited, but Anakin stayed miserable under the Emperor’s thumb, barely attempting to escape. After Vader brushes with death, borderline voluntarily, the Force has enough. It calls to the rather Eldritch part within Anakin to transform him. Dragon-Vader is on the rather small side. He can be easily lifted and put on shoulders. As a Force-being, Vaderkin is very young, almost a baby. The dragon’s shape reflects that. Would it have been billions of years later, he would have been huge enough to wrap around a planet.
As per the Force terms, Vader cannot go back into human shape until he touches the light side or learns to balance properly the multiple facets of the Force. Dark and Light. Even then, he will never fully be human again, keeping draconic traits such as scales and wings. This might be of great interest to various pirates and slavers, or even to Palpatine whose apprentice suddenly became quite a bit more useful.
Ahsoka is all too happy to see the crucial blow to the Empire through Vader’s disappearance, as well as to maybe, maybe get her Jedi-Master-turned-Sith-turned-small-dragon back. Now if only she can coax him onto the road of balance.

Holding Out My Hand
Summary: AOTC AU where Obi-Wan is the one to protect Padme on Naboo. During their lakeside picnic, Obi-Wan tells Padme a secret about himself.
I spent the last few days at a cabin by a lake and got ✨inspired✨
The title is from the song Seven Roads from the Stereophonic original cast recording ✨ You can listen to it here.
Also on AO3!
“There, perfect.”
Padme twined the final millaflower into the flower crown she fashioned and presented it to her Jedi protector.
He raised a brow and took it from her, their fingers brushing.
“What fine craftsmanship, milady,” Obi-Wan said, carefully inspecting her handiwork. Padme felt herself blush, watching his large hands stroke the delicate flowers.
“You should try it on,” she rasped. She cleared her throat. “Here, allow me.”
Padme lifted her skirt and crawled over to him, the delicate golden material falling gracefully as she let go. She took the crown from his calloused hands and placed it on his hair, the red flowers complementing his auburn hair.
I wonder if his hair is as soft as it looks.
“There,” she said, gripping her hands to stop herself from testing her theory. “A perfect fit.”
He gave her a small smile, patting the crown. “Thank you, Senator.”
Padme settled herself closer to him. “You can call me Padme, you know. We’re not on Coruscant.”
Obi-Wan looked around the meadow, his hair blowing gently in the breeze as his gaze settled on the waterfalls just ahead. “No we’re not, Padme.”
He looks like the sun.
Padme closed her eyes, wanting to remember this moment for the rest of her life. If only she could stay here with him, forget about the looming crisis, and just be a woman falling in lo—
“Padme?”
She opened her eyes, startled to find his bright blue eyes fixed on her. He was so close—she could see his Adam’s apple bob, his eyes crinkle softly.
“Yes?”
He opened his mouth, then closed it, looking down. After a moment, he met her gaze once again. “There’s something I should tell you.”
She tilted her head to the side. “What is it?”
He licked his lips and Padme’s heart exploded. “You know I’m from Stewjon, yes?”
She nodded—he’d told her this on the transport to Naboo.
“Well, Stewjoni beings are humanoid—by all outward appearances, we’re human and function as humans. But we’re also all shapeshifters.”
Padme furrowed her brow. “Shapeshifters?”
He rubbed his nose, nodding. “Yes. We can shapeshift into a wide variety of animals—banthas, porgs, fathiers.”
“So you’re actually a bantha?”
He raised a brow in a look that Padme imagined Anakin had been on the receiving end of more times than he can count. “No. In all the ways that matter, I’m essentially human. Except for the fact I can transform into an otter.”
An otter?
Padme stared at him for a moment, trying to parse his expression. His eyebrows furrowed slightly. His eyes were brighter than she’d ever seen. And yet . . . is that a smirk playing at the corner of his lips?
She giggled. “You’re making fun of me.”
Obi-Wan gaped at her. “What? Of course not!”
That only made Padme laugh harder. “Obi-Wan! You swam to Otoh Gunga—more than once! How come you never shifted to your otter form then?”
His voice shot up an octave. “It was too dangerous! We didn’t know how friendly the Nubians and Gungans would be to shapeshifters—or otters for that matter. Besides, I can hold my breath underwater longer than most humans. And I had my breathing device.”
She snorted, leaning back on her elbows. “Okay—but we went swimming in the lake beside the villa yesterday and you were still a human then.” A very handsome human at that.
“I wasn’t ready then,” he huffed.
“And you are now?” she smirked.
“Well, I was but now I’m not so sure.” Obi-Wan crossed his arms and sat up straight, looking slightly ridiculous with his flower crown blowing in the wind.
Padme raised a brow, an errant curl bouncing across her forehead. She had never seen this more . . . playful side before. It suited him, she decided.
“I guess this mysterious otter is quite temperamental,” she teased.
“He is when he isn’t believed,” he retorted.
“Alright, alright, I believe you. Happy?”
“No! Don’t placate me, milady,” Obi-Wan replied.
“Look at it from my side, Master Jedi.” She picked up a blade of grass and twirled it in her fingers. “I’ve known you for ten years and despite having several opportunities over the years, I’ve only seen you as a human. Now you tell me you’re an otter?”
“I’m a shapeshifter who can turn into an otter. Very different things.”
“My mistake.” She rolled her eyes. “You’re a very funny man, Obi-Wan.”
“I’m being serious!” He huffed. “Do you want me to prove it to you?”
“If you can,” Padme said, leaning back further.
“Fine.” He stood up, removed his cloak, and strode to a nearby marsh, ducking into it.
Padme sat up, frowning at him. What could that man possibly be doing? Perhaps he was making some kind of plush otter out of his robes and the greenery, or maybe he was preparing for some performance of some kind.
Or maybe he actually is—
She stopped herself before she could finish the thought. That’s ridiculous. He was just teasing her, trying to make her laugh.
But, then again, he looked so serious . . . Padme chewed her lip as the seconds and minutes passed.
Before she could go check on him, she heard rustling from the marsh where Obi-Wan disappeared.
“Obi-Wan?” she called.
The rustling moved closer to her. Padme instinctively sat up, her eyes tracking the movement.
Then, a fuzzy head popped up from the grass.
She gaped down at the little creature, whose bright blue eyes stared back at her with an expression that could only be described as I told you so.
“O-Obi-Wan?” Padme crouched down, hesitantly reaching out.
Obi-Wan—or Otter-Wan, she thought—scampered closer, rubbing his fluffy head between her fingers. She giggled as he squeaked happily at her touch.
“It really is you . . .”
He nodded, his fur flopping with the movement.
She kept scratching his head, her face falling slightly. He was trying to tell me something important, and I didn’t believe him. “I’m sorry, Obi-Wan.”
The little otter looked alarmed at her sudden shift in mood and did a little spin for her, squeaking until Padme smiled again.
“You forgive me?” Padme asked.
Obi-Wan did his best approximation of raising an eyebrow and Padme let out a belly laugh.
Satisfied, he squeaked and scampered off to the lake—he probably had been dying to go for a swim in his otter form since he got here, poor thing.
She watched with a lazy smile on her face as he dove in, swimming in circles in the warm lake water. When she turned to get a snack from their picnic basket, a splash grabbed her attention.
She turned back towards Obi-Wan, who was staring right at her.
“Yes?” she grinned.
He smacked his paws on the water again, spinning around.
Padme furrowed her brow. “Did you want me to join you?”
Obi-Wan squeaked loudly, rewarding her with another spin.
She giggled. “I won’t be able to keep up.”
Obi-Wan continued smacking the water and squeaking until Padme gave in, laughing as she took off her dress to reveal a matching swimsuit.
“Ready or not, here I come!”
##
An hour later, both human and otter crawled out of the lake. After wrapping a towel around herself, Padme grabbed the other two towels and wrapped them around her little Jedi. He tried to huff at his undignified appearance, but his sleepy little squeaks as she dried him off gave away his content state.
Once they were both dry, Padme slipped her dress back on and laid back on the blanket, closing her eyes for a nap.
Until she felt little paws crawl on her stomach.
She opened her eyes. “Did you want to nap too, Master Jedi?”
Obi-Wan snuggled closer, reaching a paw up towards her.
Padme delicately took his paw into her hand, running a finger over the paw pads. “Let’s just nap for a little bit, hmm?”
As she drifted off to sleep, the last thing she head was a tiny chirp, then a sigh.

Love and Affection
Note: This is my first fluff fic on Tumblr! But feel free to make suggestions if you want!
You impatiently waited for Anakin to get back from his particularly long mission so you both could relax and enjoy each other's company. You could barely recall the last time where you both sat down cuddled, talked and became all lovey-dovey. You paced back and forth, the royal blue satin train of your dress gliding smoothly behind you as you turned and walked. "I'm sure Master Skywalker should be arriving soon, Miss." C-3PO reassured you. " Thank you." You said with an overly sweet smile as you tried to think of what could possibly be holding him up for this long. Then, you heard the door slide open and you turned to see your Padawan, in all his sweat and tired glory, smiling at you sweetly. You ran and practically jumped on him, hugging him tightly and sighing, his arms instantly wrapped around you as he hugged you back. "Ani, you're back!" You exclaimed, pulling away to look at his face. "Of course, my love. I'll always come back for you." He leaned down and pressed a tender kiss against your lips. You gazed into his eyes, content with this moment. " Do you want to cuddle or..?" You asked, and he chuckled. "A shower would be nice first. Did you make dinner already?" Anakin asked as he left the main room to go to your guys' shared bedroom, getting undressed and ready to take a quick and much needed shower. You shook your head and hurried to get something started. Minutes pass and you hear the shower turn on, knowing he got in already you place Roast Porg on the table, you waited patiently for him to get out and eat with you. Minutes turn to hours as the food gets cold in waiting for him, and knowing the mission lasted about a month, you waited without complaint, he needed this. Then, you hear the shower turn off and muffled shuffling, you heat the food up and continue waiting. Anakin is out in a few more minutes and sits in front of you, smiling warmly and lovingly at you. " How was your mission?" You ask, wanting to get a conversation going. "It was successful. Obi-Wan thought I could handle it. Going to another planet, far away." He looked at you and began eating. "How about you, how was your month?" Anakin's eyes glanced over your face curiously. "It was lonely, I missed you." You replied, looking at him as well; your eyes locked. He smiled. " What? You were afraid I died or something?" He said jokingly. "Of course not. I am no fool to how keen and aware you are." You replied, seriously. The two of you let those words hang in the air as he finished eating and you averted your eyes to look at something else. " Well... do you want to cuddle?" He suggests and you turn to look at him, smiling slightly. " Duh!" He smiles warmly and lovingly at you and stands up, completely forgetting about the dish of his. You both walk to the nearby living room couch and you sit down on it, waiting for him with a happy demeanor. He sits down next to you and you both hug, he leaves little pecks on your cheek as you warmly embrace him. You relished moments like this, when you two could just sit down and forget about everything else. "How about one of those cheesy holofilms?" Anakin asked, smirking. You nodded and you got off and practically ran to find one you both liked. It was a sort of hobby of your guys' to watch movies together, although Anakin found some really shallow or just too cheesy, he secretly liked them because he's a big romantic. You click the play button on the film and run back over to Anakin and he wraps his arms around you as the movie started.

C-3PO reassured you.

Let Me Help You - 3
Obi-Wan Kenobi x Reader
<; previous
Summary: Anakin starts getting suspicious about his Masters' feelings for each other and starts asking questions. You, on the other hand, are dealing with the cold shoulder from Obi-Wan and your injured leg. Will things ever get better?
A/N: This will probably be the last part of, "Let Me Help You." I just wanted to say thank you for the love the first part has been getting!
Word Count: 2,300
Tumblr media
You and Anakin walked down to the Jedi Temple's dining hall in silence. With occasional glances from Anakin and his sighs to try to get your attention, you knew he would be asking so many questions.
You tried to walk the best you could without grabbing onto Anakin for help. It was hard. Even Anakin noticed something but didn't ask. Surprising.
Anakin went to one line while you went to the other. You grabbed a simple Naboo fruit bowl while Anakin grabbed a huge meal consisting of roasted porg. The two of you sat down and slowly began eating your meals.
"Sooo-"
"Don't," you quickly cut off Anakin, continuing to eat your fruit.
"It was worth a shot," Anakin shrugged, stuffing his face with food.
Sighing, you looked up at the young Padawan. He was slowly smirking and looked around his environment innocently. You knew that he thought he would get his way. And somehow, he did.
Dropping your fork, you sat up straight and rested your elbows on the table.
"This is the only time I'll be answering your questions so go. You won't be getting anything from Obi-Wan."
Anakin chuckled, celebrating that his tactics worked, and looked at you. You saw the look on his face. You could see the gears turning in his head and all the questions he had forming.
"When did you guys get together?" His smile grew even wider.
You scoffed, "We aren't together," you tried to be quiet as there were other Jedi nearby, "we were just in a heated argument."
"Oh," his smile diminished, "I thought you were."
You began eating your fruit again while he started the questionnaire again.
"Did he tell you how he feels about you?"
"Yeah, very brief-," you stopped, "how did you know that?"
Anakin realized what he said and started stumbling over his words.
"I-uhm-I overheard you! When I walked around the corner! Ha, ha, yeah."
"Anakin."
You glared right at him. You had a good skill of knowing when someone was lying or when they weren't. You didn't really have to decipher Anakin's lying since he was very obvious with his stuttering. Anakin was a great Padawan and a wonderful Jedi learner but never a good liar.
"Obi-Wan and I, when we aren't bickering at each other, we actually have civil conversations. One day, he told me about how he had an emotional connection to someone. He said that he knew it was against the code but he didn't care."
"Did he tell you me?"
"No," he shook his head, "I guessed because you are the only person he ever talks to for fun except me. Everyone else...it's all Jedi business. He never really has any fun."
You nodded your head and rubbed your temples.
"When he talks about you," Anakin continued, "it's like he never joined the Jedi. His mood instantly changes when you walk into the room. He gets all nervous and excited. I've never seen him act like that. You know him, all serious and rigid. But, that all disappears when you are even remotely close to him."
You smiled, comprehending what Anakin was telling you. Obi-Wan had a crush on you. And apparently, a big crush.
"You should talk to him," Anakin suggested, finishing his food.
"I highly doubt he wants to talk to me after I just left him," you finished your food as well, pushing it to the side.
"At least try," Anakin stood up, "you never know."
You watched as Anakin left, knowing he was going to ask more people about you and Obi-Wan. You laughed to yourself. That boy is going to be the death of you.
........................................................................................................................
The next couple of days were absolute torture. Your leg wasn't getting any better, Obi-Wan had been ignoring you, and Anakin wouldn't stop asking questions. You didn't know if it was going to get any better.
Anakin and you had been meeting up for lunch since that incident in the hallway with Obi-Wan. It was nice to have Anakin, but his questions weren't so nice.
Anakin hadn't shown up for lunch today, getting called in by Mace Windu. They probably had some short assignments for him.
You were bouncing your knee in anticipation. Biting your nails and almost pulling out your hair, you couldn't wait any longer. You had to talk to Obi-Wan. No matter what he said. You missed him.
You leaned on the dining table, getting up slowly. You cleaned up your dishes and walked toward the training rooms. If you knew Obi-Wan, and you did, he would be focusing on his training after something like....that....happened. You sensed his signature in the second room.
Bracing yourself, you opened up the door. You looked around and saw Obi-Wan, packing up his stuff.
"Did you just finish?" You asked, making him stop. He wasn't expecting you to be there, talking to him.
"Why, yes I did, Master L/n."
Your eyebrows furrowed in confusion. He never called you your title when it was just the two of you. He only ever did it in front of the other Jedi.
"I wanted to talk about what happ-"
"It's all right. No hard feelings. It was ridiculous. Feelings are against the code and it was a heat-in-the-moment decision."
You couldn't believe what you were hearing. It's like the Obi-Wan you loved was gone and it was now a hard-headed Jedi Code lover. Obi-Wan has always respected the Code but not this much.
"What?"
He turned around and faced you. He saw the confusion and hurt on your face.
"It was just a distraction. I need to focus on my training and missions. I'm sorry for misleading you."
You glared at him and scoffed, "Are you kidding me right now? Is Anakin behind this because if so, you guys got me."
"My Padawan surely had nothing to do with my decision. It's time we grow up and focus on the Jedi, not our feelings," Obi-Wan started walking past you. You quickly grabbed his arm and spun him around.
"So, you're telling me," you leaned closer to his face, "if I kissed you right now, you would have no feelings for me."
Obi-Wan's eyes flickered between your lips and your eyes, "Correct."
"Well then," you challenged, "let's see."
You closed the distance between the two of you, meeting his lips. Your soft lips danced around his softer lips, creating a perfect rhythm. His beard scratched your face which wasn't an unpleasant feeling. You backed away slowly, opening your eyes to meet his blue orbs.
"So?" You smirked.
He pulled his arm away and nodded, "Goodbye, Master L/n."
The Jedi Master left you in your heavily confused state. You had no idea what variant of Obi-Wan just left, but you knew it wasn't yours. He would have said something. He wouldn't have just left you. That was your first kiss with him. Based on what Anakin told you earlier, you knew he wouldn't just leave.
Your fingers brushed your cheek, where his beard had touched you. You felt the ghost of his lips on yours. You wanted to tell yourself that this was just a dream and you didn't just waste your first kiss to prove him right.
At this point, your leg, and heart, were throbbing. You wanted to rest. Your jaw had been dropped for the past couple of minutes and you didn't even notice. Fixing your composure, you walked out of the room and limped towards your room. Hopefully, your dreams would be kind to you.
..............................................................................................................................
"Goodbye Master L/n."
Obi-Wan left the training room, drowsed in heavy regret. He shouldn't have said those harsh words to you. He shouldn't have been so cold after his first kiss with you. He regretted his every action. But, he knew it was what was best. He could never give you what you deserved. A happy life. A healthy relationship. You wanted a love that would last forever. He wanted the same thing with you but knew he would've broken your heart. He knew there were better people out there for you. If the time had come when you wanted to leave the Jedi Order, he wouldn't follow you. That's why he had to push you away.
While waiting for the elevator's doors to open, he was surprised to see Anakin, running toward him.
"Master, fancy meeting you here."
"Young one, this is the Jedi Temple. It's not a coincidence to see each other once in a while."
The elevator dinged and opened.
"Well," Obi-Wan smiled, "I'll see you."
Obi-Wan walked onto the elevator and hit the floor he wanted to go to.
"Wait!" Anakin slammed his hand on the door, blocking its way to close.
"Yes?" Obi-Wan breathed in annoyance.
"What? Is it a problem that I want to spend time with my very talented Master?" Anakin stepped to the left of Obi-Wan, smiling.
Obi-Wan sighed, "What do you want, Padawan? I'm not in a very talkative mood."
Anakin glanced, "And why is that?”
"I have ruined my chance with Y/n. There. I said it," the auburn-haired Jedi snapped.
Anakin nodded his head slowly, being very quiet. Obi-Wan turned his head to look at his Padawan.
"Don't you have anything to say?"
Anakin quickly turned his head towards his Master, "Not at all."
He looked away, smiling. Obi-Wan continued looking at his Padawan.
"Do you know something?"
"Nope."
"Why aren't you saying anything?"
"As I did say, I have nothing to say."
"Then you know something."
"Master, I don't."
"Anakin."
"The only thing I do know is that your feelings for a certain Master are growing because of something that happened but you're denying those feelings because you feel like Master Y/n would be happier with someone else because you're, oh so, devoted to the Jedi Code but really deep inside, you know you belong together."
Anakin's run-on sentence really freaked out his Master. Only because he knew his Padawan was right. He was exactly right.
"Have you been waiting to say that?"
"Yeah, it was so hard to hold it in," Anakin laughed.
Obi-Wan chuckled softly, looking down, "What should I do?"
"You screwed up. We all do," the elevator halted to a stop, allowing the two to start walking, "but, here's what you are gonna do. You are going to talk and tell them how you feel about this whole situation. Respect them, no matter what they say back."
"Okay. Thank you, Anakin. I'll do it tomorrow."
"Nope!" Anakin cheerily answered.
"What?"
"You are going to do it right now. Don't you realize where you are?"
Obi-Wan finally paid attention to his surroundings and realized that Anakin had led him to your room.
"You little-"
"Tell me how it goes," Anakin gave his Master a thumbs up and dashed around the corner.
Obi-Wan crossed his arms and sighed. So much had been happening between the two of you that he wished it never did. He wished that it was just a couple of weeks ago when you two were laughing over something Anakin did.
The door opened suddenly.
..............................................................................................................................
Feeling the presence of Obi-Wan, you walked towards your door and opened it. You saw him, standing there so confidently.
"What do you want?" You asked coldly.
"I want to talk to you."
"Yeah, I tried doing that earlier," you glared at him, "but someone had an attitude."
"Please," he begged.
Oh.
Oh.
You took in that he was actually being serious.
"Fine."
You allowed him to step into your room. You watched as he stepped in cautiously.
"What do you want to talk about?"
He sighed, his back turned to face you, "I wanted to apologize for my words earlier."
"You think?"
"Y/n," he turned around, "let me talk."
You saw the emotions swirling around in his eyes and you decided to stop, your arms falling to your side. He took a step closer, so close that you could smell his comforting smell.
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry for all of it. I'm sorry for running. I'm sorry for pushing you away. I only did that because I feel like there are so many other better people out there than me that you could be with. I know that one day you would want to leave the Jedi Order to fulfill your love life. I feared that one day would come and I wouldn't want to come with you. I respect the Jedi Code. It's all I have ever known. But, when you came into my life, that all changed. Here I am, right now, telling you I would do anything for you. Even if that means leaving the Jedi Order behind or forbidding the Code."
Your eyes teared up at his thoughtful words. You walked towards him, surrounding his bearded face with your hands.
"I'm sorry, too. I'm sorry for not telling you that I knew. I'm sorry for causing you all this confusion. You've always been there for me from when I first arrived here, to this injury, to now. This whole thing was pointless because the outcome would've been the same."
Obi-Wan's breath hitched, "How so?"
"You would've still ended up kissing me."
Obi-Wan didn't waste any time, pulling you into him. He kissed you like your lips were the vaccine to his sickness. You matched his rhythm like a beat to a song. You ran your hands through his long mullet, receiving a groan from him. You slowed the kiss down and rested your forehead on his.
"You are really willing to go against the Jedi Code for me?" You asked.
"I'd do anything for you, darling."
"Anything?"
"Anything."

Star Wars vid recs
Someone on my twitter feed had asked for some vid recs for Star Wars and I thought I’d share some of my faves over here.
Desperado by fightingarrival Sequel trilogy. Poe/Finn/Rey. The Force Awakens + Rihanna + fightingarrival’s editing = the best thing you will ever see. The VIBES of this vid are incredible and editing will knock your socks off. There’s this transition of the two stormtroopers pulling Poe over to Kylo Ren and it transitions right into a tie fighter—and the shape of the tie fighter matches the way the troopers are holding Poe. Finn reaching for Rey on “not leaving me behind” — THIS VID IS SO GOOD. I have probably rewatched it 1,000,000 times since it debuted at ConTxt in 2018.
Jailbreak by @absolutedestiny. Original trilogy. The criminal hijinks and shenanigans of our rebel scum. This vid is so much FUN and full of the amazing trouble our favorites got into in the trilogy. The editing is so sharp and the lyrics are fabulous.
99 Problems by John Jay. Live action and animated series and films. Obi-Wan has 99 problems and honestly Anakin is all of them but FFFFFFUUUUCK the way these clips land on the beats!!!! I’ve seen this vid being reblogged all over tumblr but I gotta rec a million times because it is so good.  This uses all the live action and animated Star Wars source to AMAZING EFFECT, holy fuck twirl those Light sabers on the beat!!
Sk8er Boi by @ohvienna. Sequel trilogy. Kylo/Rey. This vid is hilarious and perfect and YES this is the Avril Lavigne song. Just trust me on this. You’ll see this and only be able to think of Kylo when you hear the song afterwards. You’re Gonna Go Far, Kid by @rhoboat77. The Mandalorian and Grogu. This vid is a romp and delight and Rho’s pacing throughout the song will keep you captivated with squee and love for these two.
Terrible/Beautiful by @cherryberrynice. Rogue One vid featuring Chirrut/Baze and Cassian/Jyn. Cherry always has amazing song choices for her vids and this AWOLNATION song for these two and this movie is outstanding. Her editing remains absolutely kinetic and visceral and it’s impossible for me not to adore this. The BEATS IN THIS!! The action sequences!!  The tension in this vid is so good.
9 to 5 by eruthros. Lego Star Wars featuring the clone troopers!!!! Honestly you won’t find a cuter Star Wars vid than this.
Last of the Real Ones by @starlady38. Star Wars Rebels, Ezra Bridger and Kanan Jarrus. This is the found family of my soul and I will always cry during the final episode of the show as well as this vid. These two learned so much about what it meant to become a Jedi and how to be there for each other. My heart is so full when I rewatch this vid. PLUS it’s Fall Out Boy! Amazing combination and amazing editing and so, so lovely.
In Your Head by Darth Porg. This is the Bad Wolves cover of Zombie used to DEVASTATING EFFECT for the clone troopers. Like this vid goes so fucking hard that my soul is fucking shattered. I’ve never recovered from this vid or anything about the clone troopers.
The Light by destina. This is an Anakin/Darth Vader characters study to Adam Lambert’s music, omg. It’s dancey, it’s deadly, it’s damn fucking good. The rage, the yearning, and power of Anakin in this vid is crystal clear with Adam Lambert’s vocals, holy fuck.
One Girl Revolution by bessyboo. Padme and Leia vid!! Warning for bright lights, fast cuts + stuttery/"flicker" cuts. This iconic song for two iconic women. Perfect combination is perfect with amazing parallels and badassery from both mother and daughter.
Somewhere Only We Know by trekkiebeth. Rogue One vid featuring Cassian/Jyn. The wariness and yearning of these characters works remarkably with this cover by Darren Criss. I progressively get more choked up as the vid progresses. So lovely. Standing in the Way of Control by @trelkez. This vid uses footage from all the films and TV shows to highlight our heroes standing up to fascism. It isn’t pretty, it isn’t easy and they get knocked down so many times but the tension and hope in this vid—despite facing death and genocide—is really outstanding.
Home by @collsssss. The Mandolorian and Grogu. This is the sweetest most endearing look at Din Djarin doing his best for Grogu and AHHHH the song just makes my heart swell with warm fuzzies. This vid is so, so lovelyyyyy.
And here’s my Star Wars vids (so far):
Me, Me, Me, a Star Wars Rebels vid featuring Chopper. Just a little indie rock song for my favorite Star Wars droid.
What We Live For, a Star Wars sequel trilogy OT3 vid of fluffiness and adventure. Baby you’re my open road, you can take me anywhere the wind blows, right into the great unknown. We can throw up our hands out the window, this is what we live for. All my Rey/Finn/Poe feelings right here.
One Foot, Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order. This game was AMAZING and Cal Ketis got me right in the feels. If you liked Star Wars Rebels, you definitely should look up the game or at least the cut scenes from the game because his journey is amazing and I of course had to vid it. The ‘finding yourself/found family’ themes in this game are A++++ and what you will find in this vid of mine.

My Very Soul (Chapter 13)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Anakin Skywalker x Jedi!Reader
Link to Chapter 12
Warnings: awkward conversations, angst galore, Henry fluff, and SOMEONE confesses some feelings
Summary: You are assigned to protect the senate apartments with some old friends; Anakin and Henry both struggle to know how to express themselves
Word Count: 3.8k
Even after spending multiple days on assignment at the senate apartments, getting to know the floorplans and hallways intimately, you still had a hard time believing the extent of the luxury. You were sitting on one end of a long conference table that was made of a beautiful polished wood. The room was walled by windows on three sides, and the beauty of Coruscant shining in the sun hit you from every angle. This was, you supposed, a room in which senators met to prepare arguments, to make deals, and to talk business outside of the larger Galactic Senate Building. Still, though you knew this room was meant for business, it felt like a room in a luxury resort: a penthouse, somewhere very wealthy patrons would recreate. A droid carried platters of refreshments and put them in front of you: fares from all sorts of exotic planets, drinks of bright colors, ice in silver bowls. The droid was using small tongs to deliver ice into the glasses of the senators sitting before you.
You knew some of the names—Senators Farr, Harrow, and Grano you had met already. There were a few other senators here, including some you recognized from their involvement in the proposal of the Military Creation Act. Some faces were unfamiliar. Master Obi-Wan was speaking to them, assuring them that plans had been made for their protection. Anakin sat on one side of you, and Henry on the other, next to Master Yuma and Masters Plo and Faer.
"We will patrol all of the floors in pairs, in shifts," Obi-Wan said bracingly, looking around at the senators. You felt out to them through the Force, feeling apprehension, terror. "Our primary objective, of course, will be the safety of all of this building's occupants. However, we are also working to uncover the source behind the attack on Senator Grano." Obi-Wan gestured to the Togruta, who gulped, looking uncomfortable. "We believe our presence here will be necessary until we have more information about this attack."
"Shouldn't we include more Jedi?" asked Senator Harrow, taking a long swig of a drink that was bright green, clinking the ice in his glass. "Perhaps one stationed in each of our apartments?" Senator Harrow reached for a piece of sugared Majji from the table in front of him, eating the squishy sweet noisily and licking his fingers.
"We will recruit more Jedi should that become necessary," Obi-Wan said, regarding the senator with a hint of a humorous expression. "However, we believe our efforts are best divided throughout the building. Rest assured, no less than four Jedi will be on patrol at any given time."
"We will get to the bottom of this," Master Yuma told the senators kindly. "Please, do continue to go about your lives as normal; we will try to infringe upon your comforts of home as little as possible." The senators nodded, and a few pushed back their chairs. Apparently, this was the end of the meeting.
"Do help yourselves," Senator Grano said, gesturing to the food and drink. None of the Jedi had touched the large assortment of finger foods and fine accoutrements in front of them. You looked at your fellows awkwardly. Jedi were not used to being offered such luxurious cuisines, especially not while on assignment.
Master Faer, sensing the awkward moment, reached for a mini Porg-egg quiche, holding it up and smiling to the senator in thanks. He chewed slowly, grinning at you and Henry.
"Well, we've gone over the routes that we will be patrolling," Master Yuma said, turning to face the Jedi. "If anything seems out of sorts, make sure to signal." You nodded along with your fellows. "Even if it's just a feeling," Master Yuma continued, looking directly at you, "even if something seems only out of place, don’t hesitate to call for backup." You nodded again, wondering why Master Yuma seemed so on edge.
"Henry, you and Y/N can take the south side of the building," Master Faer suggested. Henry smiled at you, a gesture you returned, if slightly reluctantly. The joy within Henry's Force presence puzzled you. It had been there before, you reasoned, the last time you'd seen him. You yourself had been overjoyed at that reunion, to see someone you had known for so long, and cared for as if he were your own family. Still, there was an added layer to Henry's joy now, or perhaps multiple added layers. You were beginning to wonder if your new skills in the Force were adding more to your sight—if you were able to read more in others' presences, now, than you had been able to sense previously. This increased sight only made you feel more confused. People, you thought, were very complex, and their emotions even more so. The proof of this was sitting to your other side. What you read in Anakin now was so much, you couldn't begin to decipher individual feelings. It was as if a dark, ominous cloud had occupied your friend, and that cloud contained every emotion named through language, plus other emotions without words to describe them. All of this was making your head hurt.
"I will patrol the north side," Master Yuma agreed, "with you, Anakin. Obi-Wan, I must insist, for the love of gods, that you go to sleep." You bit your lip over your snicker. Your affection for Master Obi-Wan was growing all the time, the fatherly figure you'd known in your youth becoming more of a mentor, more of a companion to you. You looked at him now and saw the dark circles under his light eyes. Master Yuma's candor was comical, but she was right. This man needed some sleep.
"Very well," Obi-Wan said with a small smile, standing up. You followed suit, as did Henry, who was watching you. You looked at Anakin, who was standing up on your other side, closer to the door. He met your gaze, and you couldn't help but notice how his eyelashes caught the light streaming in through the windows, the blue of his eyes seeming to bleed out into the rest of the world. Your breath paused, just for a moment. Anakin's eyebrows furrowed slightly, and you felt in his presence a pleading. You scrunched your face, confused by this. Anakin's unspoken plea only grew stronger within him as he looked into your eyes. You had to force yourself to look away.
Tumblr media
It was odd—you and Henry, to your memory, had always gotten along so easily. Now, however, as you walked the patrol route with him through the halls of the senate building, you found there was an awkwardness that hadn't been there before. You didn't know what to say to him, after all these years. You remembered being a new youngling and climbing all over him in the courtyard, him passively letting you use him as a jungle gym; you remembered him stooping to look you in the eye, after Dallum or Yumi had been teasing you, your eyes wet with tears; you remembered running to hug him when you'd reunited on Muunilinst a few years ago. It took you a moment to realize that you weren't recalling these memories of your own accord: it was Henry who was thinking of these things, as he strolled next to you, and you were reading the memories through him. You shook your head quickly. It scared you, that you could mistake other's emotional impressions for your own. You didn't want the emotions of others to bleed into yours, though you knew that a degree of this was normal. Still, you recalled your Force presence into yourself, putting a guard around it, keeping your own thoughts and feelings locked up. You felt these memories fade from Henry's mind, too, and turned to look at him, as his brow creased.
"You seem different, Y/N," Henry said, looking at you with a complicated expression. You forced a casual smile.
"You said that last time, too, remember?" you noted. Henry returned your smile affectionately. You wondered if you should call him Master, now that his rank had increased to Knight. You crinkled your nose at the thought.
"You do look different. But I meant internally," Henry said, placing his hand on his chest, as if to indicate something deeper. Henry looked ahead, walking forward through the curved hallway of the eighth floor. "I sense something in you that wasn't there before. A troubled feeling," Henry continued, his voice quieting, a shyness taking over his features. "Being in your presence feels heavier than it used to. Maybe that happens to all of us, as we grow up." Henry shrugged.
"I guess I do feel different," you answered, pondering this. "So much has changed, Henry. Things don't feel the way they used to. The Republic—"
"The Republic has stood for thousands of years," Henry said calmly. "This conflict will settle itself soon." Henry paused, looking down at his hand as it swung with the motion of his walk, next to yours. "But enough politics," Henry continued. "What about you? What has changed in your life?"
This seemed a loaded question, though you weren't sure what Henry meant by this. You decided to answer honestly.
"I have gained a greater sense of control over my Force abilities," you said quietly, never sure of how to phrase your words when talking about your own power. "I'm able to read a lot more in others, than I used to. I too can manipulate how others read me—I can place emotional impressions into the minds of others, or withdraw my own Force presence, if I wish." You sighed. Your thoughts turned to Anakin, to the complexity you had read in him, a complexity mirrored, albeit more faintly, in the young man walking with you now.
"I never thought before about how much of a burden it would be," Henry said gently, looking at you, "to have to reckon with the emotional landscapes of others, as well as your own." Henry's eyes were shining, you saw. A deep affection emanated from his presence in the Force. "That must be very difficult."
"I believe my ability was given to me for a reason," you explained quietly, moving your hand in a subtle gesture. "The Force works in mysterious ways. And yet, lately I feel overwhelmed." You felt your face getting hot; you had not admitted these feelings even to Master Yuma. "It's almost...dizzying, to read so many layers of emotion in another person. I feel I never know how to respond correctly. I worry about making the wrong move, about making a mistake—" You cut yourself off, not knowing exactly how to say what you were feeling. You pushed your thoughts away from Anakin, trying to remain in the present. Henry stopped walking and put his hand on your arm, softly.
"The knowledge of others' feelings would be a heavy load to carry," Henry said, and you felt in his own presence a sense of remorse, of care. "I wish—" Henry paused, anxiety crossing his usually calm features, "I wish I could lessen that load, for you." You felt a complicated guilt enter Henry's aura, and shook your head quickly.
"It is not a bad thing," you explained, giving Henry a rye smile. "Emotions are tools that give us all of the best parts of being alive. Compassion, care for others, pleasure." Henry smiled back at you, his head tilted curiously. "To have many emotions crossing through my head at once—sometimes I get confused," you laughed. "It is an overwhelming experience, but it is not bad. Never bad." You stood, looking up at Henry, a small smile on your lips. The moment grew in length, and you felt yourself take in your breath.
"Y/N," Henry said slowly, keeping his eyes on yours, "I want you to know that I really admire you. Your spirit, your thoughtfulness..." Henry blushed, looking down at his feet, and then back up at you. "When we were growing up, how hard everyone was on you...the way you absorbed their criticisms, their spitefulness, but never let it enter your own essence, never let it turn you cruel." You held your breath, Henry's honesty making you feel warm. "You are an extraordinary person, and..." Henry breathed slowly, his own cheeks growing pink. "And I just want you to know."
You didn't know how to respond to this. You stood, in the middle of the hallway, staring at Henry, watching his face. You couldn't help but smile, looking at him, feeling his gladness. Still, a part of you felt pulled, your stomach moving uncomfortably. It was as if your heart could not be fully present in the moment, because something was pulling it elsewhere—as if it were tied to a string, a string that's other end stretched away from where you were now, and away from who you were with.
"We should continue," Henry said after a moment, looking timidly back at the hallway. "Along the route." You nodded, coming back to yourself. Both of you started again to walk.
"Thank you for saying that," you said quietly, looking in front of you. "I—I admire you too Henry. Quite a lot." You stepped into the lift to go up a floor, and Henry followed you.
"That's nice to know," he said, grinning at the buttons in the lift, his joy coming out of his presence and wrapping itself around you both as you ascended.

Anakin walked with Master Yuma across the second floor of the senate building, completely at war with himself.
He knew that he was not going to allow himself to lash out at you, not ever again. He would not shout at you about Henry, he would not shout at you to get away from him the way he had done after his nightmare—he would never shout at you again, as far as he was concerned. He worked to keep his face calm on the outside, but inside of him there roared a mighty squall, a meteor shower so intense it could have taken out a whole fleet. That you were currently alone with Henry, walking these same floors...that Henry had looked at you as if you were the answer to his meditations, as if you were everything that mattered in the world—
Anakin felt his jaw clench as he walked, trying to push these thoughts out of his mind. He knew, in his very core, that Henry's feelings for you, whether real or imagined, were not for him to deflect. You were the one whose feelings mattered here. If you had feelings for Henry, then Anakin would not be the one to ruin it for you. Anakin's stomach sank at the very thought. The squall inside of him churned, and his anger at Henry turned into a sadness. Did you feel about Henry the way Anakin felt about you? Did you return the affection Anakin had seen in Henry's eyes, as he'd gazed at you?
Anakin didn't know how you felt. You were so good at hiding your feelings, so good at remaining professional while on assignment, and now that you were able to manipulate your Force presence so fully, your mind seemed an impenetrable fortress. There were moments that Anakin felt like he was able to see through a crack in the foundation—moments where your face showed signs of discomfort, of awkwardness, of fondness, of admiration. Anakin didn't know if these were your true feelings, or if he was reading these onto you, desperate as he was for you to return his affections. And how he wished that you would return his feelings—the thought of you looking at him the way you sometimes did, when your face grew still; the thought of Anakin grabbing onto your Padawan braid, of touching your face; the thought of hugging you again, putting his hands through your hair; the thought of leaning in, of getting to feel your lips against his own...
"Anakin," Master Yuma said gently, in warning. Anakin felt his entire body grow hot. How could he have been so cavalier about his thoughts, in Master Yuma's presence? Anakin felt his embarrassment like it was a tidal wave, knocking him off balance. Though Master Yuma didn't seem to be able to read him quite as easily as you could, Anakin knew she was your Master for a reason, knew that she had some ability in the Force for reading others' thought patterns.
"I'm sorry, Master," Anakin whispered gruffly, looking straight ahead at the wall in front of him as he walked along the hallway.
"I can feel that you are troubled, Anakin," Master Yuma replied calmly. "It might help," she continued, glancing over at him, "for you to talk about what is on your mind." Anakin gulped. He knew the Force wasn't an exact science, but he also knew Master Yuma was being polite, by inviting him to share his thoughts, when she likely already knew much of what plagued him.
"I—" Anakin tried, feeling the emotions moving through him in gusts. "I don't know if I should speak plainly, Master. I fear that my thoughts stray away from the Jedi code."
"The Jedi code is old," Master Yuma said simply, walking with her hands together under the sleeves of her robes. "There are many ways to interpret the sacred Jedi texts. Now tell me, Anakin," she said more forcefully, "what is going on in your head?" Anakin looked at her, taken aback. In some ways, Master Yuma was more diffident than Obi-Wan; in others, she spoke much more plainly.
"I don't know how to express myself in a way that is—in a way that other people will approve of," Anakin said anxiously.
"In a way that Y/N will approve of?" Master Yuma asked, keeping her face impassive. Anakin, again surprised by her candor, nodded.
"I fear she thinks of me as impulsive," Anakin said desperately, moving his arms around him as he cast about for the right words. "I fear she thinks of me in one way...when I wish she would think of me in another."
"Why do you feel you need approval?" Master Yuma asked thoughtfully. "Why not express yourself plainly?" Anakin mulled this over for a moment, confused.
"You mean to say—disregard the code? Simply tell her how I feel?" Anakin looked to Master Yuma, startled.
"As I said," Master Yuma continued, her voice even, "the code is old, and is not easily interpreted. Y/N, too," Master Yuma said, smiling, "with all her wisdom, has trouble expressing herself in certain areas." Master Yuma looked at Anakin, making her meaning plain. "It is possible that it might be to her betterment, to be confronted with your directness, your own ability to express yourself so freely." Anakin gaped at Master Yuma, unable to comprehend the direction this conversation had taken. Yuma was so very different from his own Master.
"I believe in you, Anakin," Master Yuma said gently. "I believe my own Padawan might need someone like you. I only want the best for her, and sometimes, she tends to get in her own way." Master Yuma sighed, and Anakin had the distinct impression that she was conversating with herself, as if she were meditating, and Anakin were simply a bystander. A peculiar look crossed over her face.
"Something has changed," Master Yuma said, her eyes glazing.
"Danger?" Anakin asked, suddenly on alert. His hand hovered over his saber.
"I...I can't be sure," Master Yuma deliberated, taking measured breaths. "Best to signal, to be safe." Master Yuma took out her commlink and tapped out a series of beeps.

You stood with Henry on the rooftop of the apartments, the completion of your patrol route. Though Coruscant was metallic, shiny, and new, it had its own kind of beauty, a beauty you had grown fond of. You looked out over the view, remembering the feeling of standing next to Henry, on a very different planet, under very different circumstances, in these same positions, leaning against a railing. This time, however, there was an unfamiliar current in the air.
"I've always loved being back on Coruscant," Henry said, biting his lip, looking out at the cityscape.
"It does have a certain charm," you agreed, looking at the sun gleaming on the glass and metal around you.
"It wasn't the city I longed for, while I was away," Henry admitted, turning to look at you. It was subtle, but he brushed his pinky over the top of your hand, where it clasped the railing. "It was you I hoped to see, in these recent years, whenever I returned."
You turned to look at Henry, surprised by this admission, holding your breath as he looked you directly in the eye. You found yourself speechless, your mind emptied of any proper response to this. You continued to look at Henry's face, his brown eyes staring into yours. He was good looking, you thought, with his light skin, his freckles, the way his mouth upturned in a slightly crooked way. His face had aged, but it still had all the softness of when he had been a boy.
"Y/N," Henry said softly, not breaking eye contact, "I—I would very much like to kiss you." He put his hand gently over yours and held it there, moving infinitesimally closer to your face. "May I?" Henry held his position, looking at you with a sudden burst of timidity, watching your face and waiting for your response.
You felt frozen. Henry's question was so direct, so out of left field. You'd never been asked a question like this before. You didn't know what you wanted. You didn’t want to disappoint the young man standing in front of you, with his eager, soft eyes, his kind smile. You felt the strings in your heart wrap around themselves, get tangled, start to strangle you from within. You held your breath, your eyes wide, trying to make some sound come out of your mouth, anything.
A loud beeping noise made both you and Henry jump. It was coming from the comm. You'd only just made out that the signal was from Master Yuma, that she was signaling disturbance, when a small ship appeared out of nowhere, below you, nearly crashing into the building for its speed. The ship shot two peculiar looking missiles into the apartment building, missiles that looked as if they contained something in them.
"Senator Farr's apartment!" you shouted quickly, reaching for your saber, trying to decide how to act. The beeping got louder from your commlink. Master Faer signaled Senator and safe. You looked down at the scene as if it were happening in slow motion, watched as the ship made to pull away from the building, and made a split second decision.
"Y/N, no!" Henry shouted, but it was too late. You had already jumped, free-falling through the air, using the Force to slow your landing as you grabbed hold of a small vent on the top of the ship, holding on for dear life as it flew away.

how do you think anakin would react to obi wan getting turned in a baby or a toddler?
Errr that ones kinda hard, yes he loves Obi-Wan but seeing his beloved (as cute as he is) as a baby? Kinda heartbroken? He misses Obi-Wan but baby Ben is sweet and cuddly. Like to hide in Anakin over robes playing peekaboo.
Maybe Anakin finds an old recording of Count Dooku with a teenager Qui-gon-Jinn visiting baby Obi. Both master and student in the floor sweet talking the scared stewjoni baby hiding behind a cuddly porg. Well mostly Dooku sweet talking Obi.
It’s really cute.

Obikin with 27 and/or 28 from the domestic prompts? Thanks!
HI DEAR!! coming your way, i hope you like it and thank you so much for sending me this ask <3
27. fixing their hair/clothes just before they rush out the door
“... at this force forsaken hour… absolutely unbelievable.”
Obi-Wan smiles, his eyes crinkling in fond exasperation. “I believe that almost noon is a reasonable enough time to schedule a meeting, Anakin.”
Anakin snorts loudly from the bathroom where he’s been confined for the last half-hour. “I’m just saying”, he shouts over the noise of the dryer. “We’ve been back for what? Six, eight hours? From a literal war-zone! The least they could do would be to let us sleep in!”
Obi-Wan doesn’t need to look to imagine the aggravated scowl Anakin is sporting. “If someone hadn’t insisted on partaking in, huh, certain nightly activities, maybe you would have caught more hours of sleep…”
The dryer turns off and Anakin’s head sticks out the door frame. He waves an accusing finger at Obi-Wan. “Hadn’t heard you complain about partaking last night, old man!”
Obi-Wan stares unimpressed. “Well, I managed to get up for my morning meditations just fine. Maybe old age is creeping up on you.”
Anakin rolls his eyes. “Har, har, you’re a regular comedian. No, seriously, you should give up your seat on the Council and…”
Whatever suggestion for Obi-Wan’s next career dissolves in a long string of curses as the alarm chimes, reminding Anakin that he should have been to the meeting five minutes ago.
It’s a testimony to how much Obi-Wan is used to Anakin’s rather colorful language that he merely sighs and pours him a cup of caf.
Anakin comes out a moment later, tunic hastily thrown, with his hair sticking up at weird angles. He takes the mug from Obi-Wan’s hands and gulps it down while simultaneously trying to put on his belt.
Obi-Wan tuts. “Always on the move”, he says softly, stilling Anakin’s hands and finishing the job properly.
Anakin smirks around the rim of his mug. “I’m getting a sense of déja-vu, Master”, he teases.
It’s Obi-Wan’s turn to snort. He smooths the fabric of Anakin’s sleeves and rights the leather tabard. For good measure, he reaches up and card his fingers in Anakin’s still damp hair, watching how his lids flutter close for a moment.
“Unless you want to explain to Master Windu the reason why you're late again, I suggest you hurry, dearheart.”
“You’re no fun”, Anakin whines, but dutifully lets Obi-Wan fix his appearance.
“There”, says Obi-Wan. “Now, you look less like a porg took residence on your head.”
“Yeah, yeah, love you too”, Anakin grumbles.
Obi-Wan chuckles and tries to step back, but Anakin catches him by the waist. He bends down swiftly and pecks him on the lips.
Obi-Wan tastes the faint traces of peppermint and the bitterness of the caf. All in all, not a bad combination to start the day.
Obi-Wan wouldn’t change it for the world.
They break away too soon; it turns out that being heroic generals don’t exempt them from being reprimanded like troublesome initiates by the Council.
Obi-Wan pushes Anakin towards the door. “Go and please, for the love of the force, behave.”
Anakin, the little shit, just smirks. “I suppose you could make me", he says wiggling his eyebrows.
Obi-Wan sighs. “You’ll make me go gray before the war ends.”
Anakin barks out a laugh. “I don’t know, Master, I think you would make a sexy silver fox.”
Before Obi-Wan can reply - or bodily push him out of their quarters and put of his face - Anakin steps outside. “Don’t miss me too much”, he says, the teasing edge all but swallowed by the soft tone of his voice.
Obi-Wan smiles. “Have a good day, dearheart.”
send me a domestic prompt please!
