Friendly neighbourhood reminder:

If you’re sick, it is so easy to feel overwhelmed, catastrophize, be in a low mood and so hard to self regulate.

Don’t think about your life. Don’t believe the things your brain tells you about you and your life.

Just be sick. Focus on rest, hydration, sleep, nutrition.

And, if life won’t allow you to engage in self care, just focus on getting through the day and remember it’s so hard because you’re sick.

sometimes honestly if you're feeling invalid/anxious/any sort of negative feeling about your selfship , you just have to go back to canon. and i know it seems like such an easy answer but you really do have to. it is always SO comforting to me when i'm feeling bad about things to just see my f/os normally, without any fan interpretation or characterization or opportunities for jealousy involved; to remember why i fell in love with them and that no one can take that specific experience away from me. that other people's thoughts on the character don't matter because at the end of the day, none of it has any bearing on canon and no one can "know" a character any better than anyone else. it really really does work and i wish id realized it sooner

"NPC" is a gaming term meaning "non-player character"; in plurality, this usually means having "extras" in your headspace that aren't actually system members.

Headmates that started out as NPC's, but gained sentience later (yes, that can happen!)

Plurals who have a bustling city, a small-town marketplace, a forest with animals, or any other area where NPC's live

Etc.!

Having NPC's is very common! And, even if it wasn't, you'd still be valid! Plurality is such a diverse experience that no two systems are exactly the same, and that includes things like how your headspace looks/operates! You're so unique and awesome!

I will never in my life understand what kind of person you have to be to be on the side of children being murdered. I do not understand those who will use their voice to loudly support children being killed, publicly, for their identity. and it kills me that I will never understand . it kills me that the people who claim children's lives matter more than anything will , at best, turn their heads when trans kids or Palestinian kids are murdered, and at worst say it was good and that it should happen again to more kids. it is sickening that we are forced to live in a system where children can be killed for very clear and obvious reasons and none of the people with the most ability to change it, any of it, will lift a finger. they will keep their fist closed. and they will sit and watch as more and more children are murdered in front of them.

I haven’t done one of these in years because I either drew nothing at all or not consistently enough. I’m genuinely happy and proud I actually managed it this year.

It’s been a tough year and it wasn’t always super fun to share my art. But I’m happy about the progress I made despite it all. I’m thankful for the people who have been kind throughout the year, I cherish the messages I did receive, I’m thankful for every person who takes the time out of their day to add tags to one of my fanarts, or comments or gives me any kind of feedback.
