tattoos

mudwings are some of the most heavily tattooed dragons, rivaled only by sandwings. they usually will have a tattoo of a symbol of their family (credit goes to @human-wof-designs for the original sibling crest idea) on their forearm or shoulder, and bigwings will sometimes also have a bigwings symbol on that same arm. the bigwings symbol is more common in the highly populated cities and towns nearer the palace, and especially among higher ranking dragons, since it’s more important for those outside the family to know who’s the leader.

sandwings have lots of tattoos. zodiac signs are common, however, they don’t have quite the same meaning as astrology. it matters less what sign the dragon was born under and more the sign they identify with, and rather than personality traits they all have more general values. so a dragon who was born under the wild dog may have an camel tattoo, and that just means that they value resilience. eagle tattoos are common in the military, and sand cats among leaders, especially royalty and dragons who are more cultural leaders than military. the queen will also have a tattoo of a seven pointed sun on her cheek, to symbolize keeping peace between the tribes. blister actually caused quite a stir by getting this tattoo before actually becoming queen, which cost her a lot of supporters. she thought it would be good for her image but most sandwings saw it as arrogant at best and sacrilegious at worst. 

icewings generally only get small, very personally meaningful tattoos in the circles, but outside of them tattoos are common, especially among coastal icewings. their meanings tend to be unique to the individual. icewing musical bands have a tradition of getting matching tattoos. fisherman icewings will oftentimes have sleeves of nautical scenes that relate to voyages they themselves have taken, and whalers will usually get a tattoo of their first whale, especially when whaling is a family business.

skywings had lots of tattoo artists before the war, though rather than tattoos being a tribewide tradition it was closer to just being a personal aesthetic choice. there are a few old families that had a family crest similar to mudwings, but by and large most skywings just do their own thing. tattoos are more common in the bigger cities in the north, but there are a few artists in the agrarian south. most princes who are sons, brothers, cousins etc to the queen (princes by blood) get tattoos, but princesses, queens, kings, and princes who became royalty by marrying a princess do not (basically, anyone who might be queen one day, and anyone who might be married to a queen). 

seawings sometimes get tattoos for various reasons, most of them personal; however, many will get a tattoo to commemorate their first shark kill. the tattoo itself isn’t usually a shark, since sharks are sometimes used as symbols of royalty. web tattoos are extremely painful, so they’re rare, but indicate strength. some military commanders or rural hunters will have a “sleeve” all along their webs. 

nightwings rarely get tattoos, and when they do they have to be colorful to show up against their dark scales. oftentimes nightwings will get white tattoos that make them appear ghostly as an intimidation tactic (these usually include skeletal markings of some kind). otherwise, most of the time tattoos are personal and very brightly colored. 

rainwings almost never get tattoos, since it would impede their camouflage abilities. when rainwings do get tattoos, it’s almost always those who are travelers, especially merchants who join up with desert caravans. rainwings favor small tattoos, and usually on the tip of the tail, since it can be curled to hide it.

HI!!! Can I have a bad batch match up is that what it’s called? Anyways they are so cute and amazing and I would like to try it myself :)

Physically I’m 5’1 or 5’0 pretty short. I have an hourglass body I’m pretty curvy. I’m tan, I have longish sized brunette hair with layers and curtain bangs brown eyes you can sometimes see gold specs in them pretty eyebrows their perfect shape. I wear glasses sometimes but I mostly wear contracts. And I’m always wearing earrings or doing my hair in braids or some hairstyle.

I’m extrovert but also introvert it’s weird but I’m very loud I talk really loud and I’m always cracking jokes or saying something sarcastic but if I say accidentally say something rude I immediately feel really bad even if it’s not that bad and say sorry at least 20 times. I love taking with new people and always telling them weird stories about me or something or ask them questions about anything. I have a pretty bubbly personality. I am very clumsy today I literally fell down the stairs and that’s something that happens a lot or you can se me tripping on my own feet sometimes. I’m curious about anything and I’m always asking myself questions and always thinking. I daydream a lot like all the time in cars, school, restaurants and people always have to snap me back to “reality”. I’m an over thinker and over think everything. When I’m with my friends I usually put music and we just dance for fun but I’m always there when someone needs me I’m very empathetic I really connect with people and help them through any issue they need. I have ADHD and I can never really Finnish my sentences because I always get sidetracked with anything or get distracted with anything. I’m very smart definitely above average especially in reading I love reading it’s my favorite thing to do in the world I love reading romance novels too it’s just amazing. I also love watching romcoms or musicals but if you watch a musical with me I’m gonna be singing every song especially if it’s mamma Mia or high school musical I am also absolutely terrified of horror movies but I still watch them. I’m really into Astrology and astronomy (is that the same thing?) like this one time when I was bored i memorized all 88 constellations anyways sidetracking, my zodiac sign is a Virgo my favorite animal is either a butterfly or an elephant my favorite color is yellow or purple and my favorite band is Queen. Echo has changed alot since his time as a Reg he used to be alot more shy and introverted relying on Fives input until he finally felt more comfortable speaking his mind.

These days Echo is more an extrovert but does enjoy his alone time. He's learn to speak up and argue with people when need be. He may pull an offend face at something you say before he smiles at you and laughs.

He loves answering your questions to the best of his ability. If hesitant know somethign he will ask Tech so he can learn something to share with you.

He seems to have an instinct of knowing when your gonna trip, fall or drop something and he's always there to save you or whatever you almost drop. Hunter is quite impressed.

He will try to pick up romance, adventure and fantasy novels, holos for you whenever the batch is planet side. He also loves reading to you if your two tired to read yourself.

"Easy Cyare, Your gonna hurt yourself if your not careful" Echo says lightly helping you stay upright after tripping over. You let out a soft Laugh as your hands grip onto his shoulders "thank you Echo. Don't know what is do without you" you say lightly only for him to help you set down. He is quick to move to take a kneel in front of you to check the bleeding of your knees.

"That's some nice bleeding you have their sweetheart, let's get you patched up. Don't need you bleeding out on us" he says lightly with small chuckle. He moves around the room quickly picking up the equipment he needs to clean your wounds. He moves back to take a seat in front of you.

"This is going to sting a little but it's better then getting infected" he states as he wipes a small cloth wirh disinfectant across the scrapes. It stings as he wipes the blood away but you stay quite as he cleans everything. He grabs a bandage and gets you to hold one end as he begins to wrap it around your knee. Once the First is finished he moves into the next one.

Once he is finished he hold his hand out to you, to help pull you up to stand. "Lets get you to bed, we dont need you falling over again do we". You roll your eyes at him bit let him lead you towards the small bunk.

He's gentle placing you down and taking a seat beside you. " We really need to get you some knee guards or better yet some bubble wrap" he teases only for you to lightly punch his shoulder.

He laughs light pulling you to rest agaisnt his lap. " Sorry, I couldn't help myself, but please try not to hurt yourself anymore. Would hate to have to get Tech to stitch you all back together. Don't need you ending up like me." He reply as he leans down and places a kiss to your forehead.

"Nothing wrong with you Echo, you just have a few extra mods that's all. Beside it gives you more personality" you shoot back at him only for him to fake a wounded expression. "Oh so it's the extras you like and here I thought you liked me for my witty comments and good looks" he snarks only to begin tickling you.

"Echo!, echo stop I can't breath!!" You laugh and he rolls onto you trying to hold you down as he presses lighthouses across your face. When he finally let's you breath your panting and giggling while you rest your head on his chest.

"I think Fives would be proud of you, your not as much a stick in the mud as you used to be" you state as you lean up to press a gentle kiss to his lips. "Yea, I miss him. I think he is proud, we suvived the war. He's be rubbing it in our face if he were here. That or causing Chaos" he chuckled the last part. He wraps his arms around your torso as he pulls you closer.

You both were in most of the same classes together.

The only issue was that you were struggling in your AstroPhysics class.

You knew who you had to ask. He was the smartest in the class, and everyone asked him for help.

Joe definitely wasn’t the smartest in the room, but he sure was talented.

You’re not sure why you took on the role, you had never acted in your life, nor was it something you dreamed of doing.

It was as simple as; “ Just for fun.”

It was a short, bullshitting about some fake “scientific history” of Galaxy, Atoms and Soulmates.

Aka the cheesiest shit in the universe. But you had the voice for it, the intimidation of pure excellence and genius seething off of your tongue as you howled the script across the room. It wasn’t realistic, nor was anything in it true. Soulmates were inplausible, nothing but a myth. You wanted so badly to yell out “ Who wrote this shit?” but continued on anyway.

After rehearsal, you began walking back to your dressing room. Only to slam into a tall body, almost knocking you off your feet. You looked up at the face that had owned the torso you’d just bumped into. His hair was fiery auburn, his eyes a beautiful hazel color, looking into you with question.

“Im- so sorry-“ You began to apologize.

“ Aren’t you the main actress? You did amazing!” Your heart panged at actress. It wasn’t something that you had wanted to do but for some reason when he had said it, it made everything in you flutter.

He helped you walk back to your dressing room, taking the extra things you had in your hand. “ So what do you do?” You asked, the two of you still walking down the long corrodors of the venue.

“ I’m the writer.” You couldn’t help but laugh, it seemed too good to be true. His smile faded and he stopped, “ What’s funny?” He asked.

“ Well its just- you know none of this is real right? Soulmates- The theory of atoms being so close at some point that when they were seperated it causes them to come back together?? It’s unlogical.”

He scoffed and smirked down at you, “ It’s not about if its logical. It a story of hope, of true love. The fact that someone was made for you and you were made for them. You really need to get your head out of what they teach you in school about the stars, because there is always something that we as a human race don’t know about. And you my friend, won’t know anything about love until it hits you in the face.”

After that whole fiasco with Joe in the hallway, you realized that he was right. Your entire life had been based around science for the longest of times. Concrete evidence. But when you had met Joe it was as if a fire had lightened itself inside of you.

That would be the day she officially became a Pokémon trainer! She didn’t go into it knowing which Pokémon she was going to pick, like some kids; she decided she would see which one she bonded with the most on the day! The day as a whole was kind of a disaster (she immediately ran to Viridian City to challenge Leaf’s gym with only two Pokemon and got demolished, then got lost in the forest for two more days) but she wouldn’t change it for the world.

Nickname: We don’t really have a nickname? But CR sounds pretty good if anyone wants to use that xD from Celestial Roses ;)

Zodiac: We’re Leo by birth but the other signs in our astrological chart are more prevalent than our Sun sign as far as our collective goes.

Height: 5′5″ or more accurately 166,5cm

Last Movie I Saw: Venom!!! AAhh I finally decided to watch it. I’ve seen the Arts TM on tumblr but :0 loved it!

Favorite Musician: We don’t really have any favorites at the moment! We do enjoy in general ambient music and environmental tracks like ‘background noise’ type of things! We used to like Hanson, Savage Garden, Michelle Branch, Brittney Spears, some songs from the Spice Girls. Roxette, Queen, 2 Unlimited and other oldies inherited from our big brothers cassette tapes and CD’s.

Favorite Book (Series): We liked Tigers Child, (direct translation from finnish to english, we don’t know if the english title is the same) and some fantasy book series before Harry Potter was written that we don’t remember the name of. Just that it was super enticing and we didn’t sleep until we had finished reading! We were physically around 13 or 14 at the time!

Last Thing I Googled: 2 Unlimited to check I remembered the name of the band correctly!

Song stuck in my head: There’s been several :0 we can’t remember which was the last one, but I Wonder by Zoey Lily, or In My Veins by Andrew Belle there’s others but they’re new songs so we don’t really remember lyrics or artist just melody.
