feat. — toji fushiguro x f!reader, kid!megumi
word count. — 1.4k
content. — sfw, non-sorcerer au, established relationship (marriage), mostly just fluffy domestic stuff, reader is addressed as ‘mom/mama/mommy,’ toji’s kind of a bad parent but he’s working on it, brief mention of toji smoking (cigarettes), overprotective!toji, very minor suggestive themes (from toji 🙄 he’s a walking cw/tw)
notes. — idk. this has been incessantly on my brain pretty much from the moment i  woke up today, even to the point where i was writing half of this at  the laundromat lmao. mother’s day yesterday had me feeling some type of way, so here have some fun headcanons from a strange eldest daughter!!!! (i might end up doing a set of these for gojo x reader too 🤔)
Tumblr media
⋆ 「 — he’s not your biological son, but you’ve been around since you started seeing toji when megumi was still a baby. but now, a few years later, you might as well be his real mother. you certainly act like it and feel like it, so toji gladly initiates the conversation about official adoption. it just makes sense. you eventually explain the situation to megumi as best as you can simply so that he doesn't grow up thinking he was lied to or anything of the sort, but as far as he's concerned, you're his mom whether it's by blood or not.
⋆ 「 — and oh, megumi’s a mama’s boy. i imagine he’s just a little bit of a healthier kid vs. canon given the better family situation, but he’s still always a bit of a grumpy baby, appreciating his autonomy and trying to be as self-sufficient and mature as he can be. but he’ll most certainly run to you when he needs help, is truly hurt, or just needing a bit of comfort. you’ve always treated him so softly and kindly with understanding, so he honestly feels more comfortable coming to you most of the time instead of his dad.
⋆ 「 — he likes the way you organize the bookshelf in his room or fold and sort his clothes in special little ways. he gets upset any time toji tries to put a book back in the wrong place or can’t figure out where his damn socks are. gumi will scowl and say, “that’s not where it goes.” or go deadpan and be like, “mom always keeps the socks in the bottom drawer.” disappointed that his father can’t even remember. toji just grumbles and says, “your mama’s gonna ruin you.”
⋆ 「 — has called you 'mom' basically since he was old enough, but don't let him fool you. megumi will drop the big boy act and come out with 'mama' or 'mommy' when something's wrong or he's really excited. he'll come to you with quiet tears and sniffles, a little ashamed that he's crying, but present to you a scraped elbow, "mama... it hurts." you clean up the scrape and explain to him the little medical details in a somewhat understandable way to help him focus on something besides the pain, and you tell him that it'll be okay, and that it's alright to cry. or on the flip-side, you and toji take him to the zoo, little gumi on his dad's shoulders, and he gasps and points excitedly, "look, mommy! look at the big elephant!" and it feels incredible to see him be so spirited.
⋆ 「 — along the lines of the art from this post and the thought i had about it earlier, just imagine that you're at some event (maybe like a birthday party or something), and toji's been hauling megumi around. they're both so over it at this point and are like 'please get me out of this' so as soon as toji walks past the obnoxious inflatable bouncy house, he smirks and just YEETS that kid inside without a second thought. after regaining his breath, megumi just looks at his father with the most EVIL little scowl as other kids bounce around him with smiles. by the look on that child's face you could've swore that his father had just done him the ultimate betrayal.
so gumi slides out and hurriedly makes his way over to where you're sitting off to the side, quietly climbing into your lap for a little bit of solace. he wiggles in close to your chest and you tuck him under your chin with a ‘come here, sweetpea,’ rocking slowly and humming something soft because he always seems to like it when you do.
toji comes over and you look at him through narrowed eyes. "kids are supposed to like shit like that," he says.
"you know he likes when things are more quiet," you respond, and toji rolls his eyes at how you seemingly spoil your son.
"just thought it might be good for him to try and get along with the other brats." toji tries to cover up the fact that he tossed his kid for the sheer personal enjoyment of it.
you huff in disbelief. "oh, like you get along so well with everyone?"
he scoffs and moves in behind you, leaning down to place a kiss on your neck. "i get along with you," he says almost suggestively.
you just keep stroking megumi's hair and give the top of his head a gentle kiss. "yeah, well not today," you say, shooting a smug, resolute smile towards your husband, ultimately taking his son's side.
⋆ 「 — outside of his alone time, megumi would honestly much rather be with you instead of other children. toji thinks it's probably unhealthy and you're inclined to agree, but you also don't want to force megumi into situations that will just make him miserable. so, when appropriate, you don't mind at all pacing around with him in your arms or have him walk next to you (maybe holding your hand if he’s not in a ‘big boy’ mood), teaching him about the things you see in the woods, the park, or even the museum. when toji's not away working, he'll join too because it admittedly makes his heart feel soft to watch you two together. it always has, because you've been doing this with megumi since he was a baby. it never gets old. if it wasn't already so difficult trying to figure out how to do things right by his son, he'd want you to give him even more babies.
⋆ 「 — megumi likes doing things with his dad sometimes too, though. toji tries his best to do it right and watch both his mouth and his temper. you like seeing them getting along, even if it's just quietly watching tv or a movie (probably a cartoon where toji gets kind of into and will ask the occasional question like "why does that one stupid chick keep doing that?" and megumi just shrugs like, "i dunno. she is pretty dumb.") or playing ball outside because gumi's starting to show some athleticism. but you have to remind toji that he can't always be so rough or competitive with games because megumi is literally a child.
⋆ 「 — toji can also be way too overprotective of you two at times. you'll be out and about and he'll just be wearing such an intimidating expression as he walks behind you both, on the lookout for anyone who might want to cause trouble or take the wrong sort of glance at his wife. he'll even snap at people for walking too close or like cutting in line or something petty, and you have to tell him stop acting like an attack dog and looking like the grim reaper because dear god you're literally just having lunch at the park. even at his age, megumi's just eating his ice cream and looking at his dad with his little baby deadpan expression and thinking "this man really needs to take a chill pill." other times he can be more relaxed, however, obviously confident in his ability to protect you. it depends on his mood. but that still doesn’t stop him from being embarrassing and going off on people in public if something happens.
⋆ 「 — you also know all of gumi’s favorite meals and snacks. it’s yet another one of those things where, if his dad does it wrong, megumi expresses a disappointment beyond his years. toji will be making and packing his son’s school lunch just as instructed by the notes you gave him, but it’s by no means as neat and meticulous as when you do it. toji’s got a cigarette hanging out of his mouth with furrowed, concentrating brows, his free hand shakily reaching for a cup of fresh coffee, and megumi’s standing there with his little backpack, criticizing his father the entire time. “mom doesn’t do it like that,” he says.
“well mom ain’t here right now. and it doesn’t matter how the sandwich is cut, is still tastes the damn same.”
gumi doesn’t even physically react, still wearing the same neutral expression, just waiting for his dad to hurry up. “mom says you shouldn’t smoke. and she also says not to use bad words.”
toji scoffs and then smirks. “well mommy uses all sorts of bad words you don’t even know about when her and daddy have play time.”
megumi’s already almost late for school and can barely feel his feet from how tight his dad tied his shoelaces. he also asks you later about “play time,” and you want to absolutely murder your husband over it.

James Potter x fem!reader
Summary: James "helps" you organize your old belongings to move them to the cellar.
Prompt: friends to lovers ~ "don't bite your lip, bite mine."
@moonlightspencie for you, my lovely!
JAMES POTTER MASTERLIST
BLURB MASTERLIST
James promised to help you organize and move all your childhood belongings into your cellar. Only, you should have known he wouldn't be much help at all.
You're sitting in the middle of your bedroom, the carpet covered in various nick-knacks and memories as James lays on his stomach on your bed and flips through some old muggle teenage magazine.
"Who's John Lennon and why is this muggle magazine obsessed with him?"
You blow some hair away from your eyes. "A singer. He was in a band." You throw a pair of old sneakers in the discard pile and groan. "Jamie, you're being no help!"
James throws the magazine onto your bed and scrunches his nose as he rests his chin on his hands. "He's not even cute, y'know, muggle birds have shit taste."
"Never said John Lennon was cute, James," you say, glaring at him, "Now, can you come help look through that box for me?" you point to the box near your hip that's labeled postcards/letters.
James jumps down from the bed and sits crisscross next to you, his legs bouncing uncontrollably. He's unable to keep still for even a minute sometimes. You know this and so you just let him do his thing.
"Why do you keep all these?" he asks absentmindedly as he rummages inside the box, making sure everything inside corresponds to the label, occasionally discarding trash, trinkets, and even a pair of thankfully clean socks.
"Because they're to and from people I care about," you whisper, folding an old sweaters to donate. "They're memories."
James hums, clearly reading something and you turn your head, seeing him fully reading one of your letters. You snatch it from him and glare at him again. "You're being a pain," you say, your tone lacking in malice.
"You never sent that one," he points to the letter and looks down at it, your breath leaving you when you see the name written on the front of the folded paper you hadn't even put in an envelope.
James F. Potter.
The letter is addressed to him.
A sense of dread creeps in on you and you have an awful feeling in your stomach that means you remember exactly which letter it is. You throw it in the box again, shrugging as your voice trembles, "Must not have been important."
James's gaze stays on you and he tilts his head in question. "Is it still true? You're in love with me."
Your chest tightens and you freeze, letting his words sink in. He'd read it. "How fast can you read?" you joke nervously, avoiding looking at him. This wasn't supposed to happen.
James laughs. He laughs and you feel like sobbing so you do the next best thing which is hold in your tears as you sink your teeth into your lip, hard enough to hurt and distract you.
"Woah," James's voice interrupts your self-loathing as he sits up on his knees and holds your chin. He uses his thumb to pull your lip from your teeth. "Hey, darling, don't do that," he whispers sternly and uses his other hand to push some hair away from your forehead and then he tucks some of the strands behind your ear.
"Can you look at me?"
You feel so embarrassed that he'd read your confession. A confession you'd written almost a year ago and that you'd never sent in fear of ruining the best friendship you've ever had.
You squeeze your eyes shut. "Hey," James mumbles and his hand rests against your cheek, his thumb still close to your lips. "Did you mean it? Do you still mean it?"
What point is there lying now?
You nod and your eyes open as you try and chew on your lip, a nervous habit you've always had and James stops you again with his thumb on your lip again and he frowns.
"Don't you bite your lip, if anything bite mine," he says as if it's the most normal thing in the world. He looks completely serious too and your heart leaps.
James's signature smirk curls his lips and he grips your chin, pulling you in. "Like this," he says, his breath warm on your lips, and then he's kissing you.
It's hesitant and unfamiliar for few seconds until you relax and your arms find his neck, pulling yourself in even closer as you deepen the kiss.
You feel like you're in a cloud and all you can feel is James's arms wrapping themselves around your waist. You smile into his mouth and tilt your head, your teeth sinking into his lip like he'd wanted.
From the passion, your bodies accidentally slip and as you fall over James, his elbow accidentally hits the box and sends all the contents spilling on the floor.
"Oops," he pipes up, his voice breathless as he looks up at you, your hands beside his head as you look down at him. His hands remain on your hips and his lip is a little crimson and swollen from your bite.
His grin only widens.
"See, much better than when you bite yours," he chuckles.
You echo his laughter and then lean down, pressing another kiss to his lips.

Summoning Your Secret Boyfriend Pt. 3
This post is dedicated @fanfics-or-dragons who wrote part of the post. I will put their part in bold. I would suggest checking them out, they write some really interesting stuff.
First Previous AU Summary
“Because it is!” Constantine screams, “They literally say ‘hi’ by fighting each other. Not to mention even if they don’t try to purposely hurt you they often do due to how fragile we are compared to them. Even their weakest would be a challenge to our heavy hitters!”
Constatine tried to take a deep breath to calm down. The kids were obviously alive so they obviously haven't pissed anything off too badly over there. If anything they might have gained favor with something from there. "Kids you may have not bungled whatever the hell you got up to but I seriously doubt you understand the ramifications that can happen when you form ANY type of relationship with beings so powerful you can't comprehend it."
Constatine was actually feeling like the sheer dred was fading and that he could handle this, and then Superman had to butt in to defend his kid. "The kids obviously have not been keeping us informed of their actions as much as they should have, and that will be being addressed Supernova. But they obviously have not gotten themselves into too much trouble with how you describe the beings from this realm. And you are one to talk about dangerous relationships with more powerful beings. The team has hardly had the type of relationships you tend to favor."
Which would have been annoying enough if it wasn't followed by the robin kid bursting out laughing and falling to the ground. Looking directly at Supernova, who was suddenly looking at the ground and bursting out into more laughter. He doesn’t get paid enough to deal with this let alone teenagers.
While Constantine was reenacting the scene from the office, Supernova and Red Robin worked on controlling their laughter.
“It was from when Batman was stuck in the time stream,” Red Robin stated through his muffled laughs.
All eyes turned to focus on Red Robin the moment those words came out of his mouth. The mood turned from slightly light hearted to sullen in a moment. Most members looked like they were sucking on a lemon, remembering how they called him crazy for thinking that Batman was alive. The look in their eyes as they agreed that he lost his mind in grief was always in the back of his mind. Reminding him to be careful with who he trusted and how small that number now was. It was why he liked rubbing it in their faces that he was right, no matter how childish the action was.
“The time stream,” Red Robin continued getting up from the floor, “is a part of the realms. Batman being there was causing them a bunch of problems so they were pretty happy to hand him over after we fixed the problems his presence caused.”
“Yeah,” Supernova chimed in, “and one of their citizens that was fixing the disturbances in the time stream talked about the rules and how Batman was breaking them while they helped us hold up our part of the deal.”
Which was partly true. It was mostly Danny complaining about how much trouble the Justice League causes him and with mentions of laws he needs to study up for his coronation. Apparently every new King throws out the previous ruler’s laws and makes new ones. He decided he would instead use old laws as a framework and make them fairer. They spent a lot of time with him working on them so they have the best understanding of the laws now that their boyfriend is King.
Even without mentioning that Constantine turned from his calmer state into looking half-dead again.
“So let me get this straight,” the con man said while he rubbed the bridge of his nose, “For fixing the disturbances in the time stream that Batman caused, they returned him?”
“Yeah.” “Basically.”
“And you never thought to mention that to anyone?!”
To be continued . . .

ushijima was definitely a little innocent boy in highschool. and no this is not me tryna make him seem so babygirl cuz y'all he looks like he'd crush you, but you cannot tell me that that man was not so obsessed with playing volleyball for his parents approval to the point he missed out of basic puberty things.
Like homie probably woke up with his first boner and thought he needed to go to the doctors cause he was just that out of the loop.
So i one hundred percent believe that when Ushijima felt himself have feelings for the first time during his second year he would copy everything he saw in romance mangas. He would blush when he finally told tendou about his feelings for you.
He definitely made a lot of oopsies in front of you because he genuinely has no idea how to talk to girls.
He gets sad seeing how you get scared when he walks by. His first real feelings of insecurity about his body.
Every morning he would make sure his uniformed was ironed and neat for you.
When he woke up from a wet dream about you he immediately apologized when he got to school. Obviously he gave you no details about why he was apologizing. He just walked up to you and said "i'm so sorry 😐".
But finally the day he tried to copy a scene from a j-drama was when he thought he lost you. He told tendou to try and spill his drink on you but to purposefully miss. That way you would lose your balance and he would catch you. Safe to say that isn't what happened. Tendou's chocolate milk was dumped all over you, and everyone in the school witnessed the first time Ushijima Wakatoshi "yelled" at tendou. However, telling tendou "this isn't what we planned," in a stern voice led you to believe the two of them were purposefully trying to embarrass you.
When Ushijima saw the tears well up in your eyes he felt a kind of pain that he hasn't felt in years. His heart hurt seeing how scared you looked at him. That night he went home and attempted to write his feelings out into a letter. Did it make a whole lot of sense? no, but it got his point through.
The next day Ushijima hadn't seen you at school, and his mom went into his room to collect dirty clothes. When she saw an envelope addressed to you she assumed her son forgot to take it. It was your birthday today if she remembers correctly. So his mother walks through the neighborhood and drops the envelope into your mail box cursing out her "stupid" son.
On that fateful day it was revealed that Ushijima Wakatoshi was just a silly boy that was so deeply in love.
Btw the best part of the letter was:
"you're like a volleyball. I get happy when i see you,"

your boyfriend gets his hands on a handycam, later on you
warnings: mentions of divorce, mentions infidelity, Dave’s family is also mentioned, some self-doubt and angst, looots of feelings (sorry idk what took over me ehehe), swearing, smut: fingering (f receiving), oral (f receiving), p-in-v sex, slapping, daddy kink, usage of various nicknames (baby, darling, etc) minors dni (18+) reader is able bodied + has some length of hair + afab.
a/n: my birthday is officially on 10th of september, but this fic turned out to be longer than i expected, so i said post it with a fic you feel good.
a/n2: this fic takes place in the same universe with [take the heat away, make the girl stay] but they can be read separately.
Carol was a really nice woman after the divorce.
It was nice of her to call you a homewrecker, among many other names.
It was nice of her to fill Molly and Alice’s heads with wrong ideas about you.
It was nice of her to call Dave in the middle of your date and tell him that he’ll come back crawling back to her after he’s done with you. just like the girls before and made sure you heard it.
Lastly, it was nice for Carol to send all of his belongings to your tiny apartment. You didn’t even know how she got your address. Just after a simple ring of the doorbell, you were standing between piles of light brown boxes.
“Shit, did she really do that too?” Dave asked over the phone as you stood inside the labyrinth made of boxes.
“Yep, what’s left of your relationship is now inside my living room.” You said as you eyed over the boxes. Trying to find out if your relationship was enough to fill one box.
“They’re mostly clothes, family photos and Father’s Day gifts. There is nothing left of the relationship.” You were familiar with the last sentence. Dave used that to reassure you during the beginning of your relationship.
He also used that sentence to girls, and Carol. When any one of them accused you of breaking them up.
“Yeah, probably. I’m gonna take a shower. When will you be back?”
“Fifteen minutes tops. Do you want anything?”
“No, just you.” His chest hurt when he heard how your voice cracked before you ended the phone call.
He hated Carol when she did that. Blaming you for everything went wrong in the marriage. Taking her anger out on you, when in truth you came into him long after he decided on a divorce.
“Darling? I’m home.” He didn’t hear your reply, but the water sound came from the bathroom.
He took off his long coat, his keys still in his hand when he walked towards the living room. Greeted with a pile of boxes. He couldn’t imagine how you felt when a box after a box came into your place. He would call Carol again, but he knew pretty well whatever he said to stop her, just would fuel Carol’s anger.
He raised his key, slashing and opening one right through the tape with it.
Fake plastic trophy of being the Best Dad Ever, broken hand painted coffee mugs, a photograph in a frame from Alice’s first soccer game.
He went through some of the boxes more. As he assumed they were mostly clothes and stuff related to girls. Mainly photo albums which were half empty since Carol only sent him photos he was included. Nothing more.
When he was going over his last box, something silver at the corner of the box caught his eye. When he took it out, he was greeted with an old handycam.
“No way.” He smiled as he took it out. Shocked when he found out it was still charged.
He heard your footsteps when you came towards him, wrapped a towel around your body and another one around your head.
“What is that?” You walked towards him, the scent of your shower gel filling his nostrils.
Orchids.
“That’s my old handy-cam. Got stuck between stuff, still works.”
He explained as he checked if there were any pre saved videos. He remembered using it for Alice’s school plays and Molly’s soccer practice. Half remembering that he already saved them to Carol’s computer.
He pressed on the record button, when he saw the red blinking light he raised the camera to you.
“What are you doing!” You chuckled, covering your face.
“Recording my lovely girlfriend.”
“I’m in a towel.” He shrugged, still keeping the camera on you.
“That’s better.” He said as he zoomed on your legs, slowly lifting the camera to your body. “Don’t be shy. Camera loves you.”
“Is it the camera? Or is it my horny boyfriend?”
“Both. Give me something baby, come on.” You rolled your eyes, blew a kiss and winked at the camera.
“That’s better.” He said as he placed his hand on your towel, raising an eyebrow.
Before you could understand his next move, he tugged the towel down, watching it pool around your ankles.
“Dave!” You protested, hands covering your breasts.
“Don’t be shy honey. This is just for me. Show it to me.” You huffed, placing your hands at your waist. Sticking out your chest more as he pointed the camera at your breasts, recording every inch for you.
He licked his lips at your sight. “I’m a lucky bastard aren’t I?”
“Try the luckiest.”
He chuckled, motioning you to the couch. “Take a seat.” You rolled your eyes, swinging your ass as you walked towards the couch. You knew he was zooming in there.
He whistled, “That’s my girl” as he followed you. Sitting further from you on the coffee table. “Open your legs for me, come on.” The sight of your glistening pussy was on camera, Dave’s hand was slightly shook, blurring the view for a second. He tried to play it like he was affected less from the sight of you than he actually was.
“Hmm, you’re wet baby.” You smirked at the camera, slowly nodding. “Who made you this wet?”
“You did.” You pressed your fingers on your lips, spreading them to show him your swollen clit covered in your silk. “See? It’s all for you.”
He felt his pants tighten, he didn’t even find the time to take off his tie since he got back. Now you were standing all naked for him, showing off your perfect body. And he had too much clothes on to feel you on his skin.
“Be a good girl, play with yourself for me. But don’t cum.” He said as he slowly placed the camera on the coffee table. Angling it to the perfect angle.
Your eyes were looking into his eyes, as he clicked his tongue pointing at the camera. “Eyes on the camera baby.” You swallowed down your whimper. Thumb pressed onto your clit, feeling your walls clench around nothing.
You pushed a finger inside you, moaning at your wetness. You closed your eyes, for a second, your other hand was on the cushion, grasping it tightly.
You started moving your finger, in and out, playing with your clit then back in. “Open your eyes.” You opened them, seeing Dave in front of you, behind the camera.
He was naked, his cock in his hand, slowly pumping himself. You could tell he was rock hard, it was painful for him not to touch you. “See what you’re doing to me?” You gulped, nodding quickly.
“Add another finger.” You did as he said, your toes curled, walls clenching around your fingers. You didn’t have to look down to know your juices were dripping down on your couch, making a mess.
You continued to finger yourself slowly, eyes locked on the red light on the camera. You could feel you were close to reaching your orgasm, trying to hold it as long as possible.
Your whimpers filled his ears, his eyes locked at the way your naked chest came up and down. Each second it became harder for him to not feel you on his skin. You were a sight for his sore eyes, all he carved for his life.
“Show me.” He said as he knelt between your legs. You took your fingers out of your pussy, the wet sound of it crying made both of you moan.
Your fingers were glistening with your juices, you took them inside your mouth, sucking off your juices.
His warm breath fanning your weeping pussy. He quickly hooked your legs on his shoulders. Diving into your pussy, drinking your juices right from your core.
Your body trembled as his warm tongue touched you. Drawing long strokes with the tip of his tongue. “Oh Fuck!” You said as your hand went back to cushion. Supporting yourself as Dave continued to lick over your folds aggressively.
He raised his face, his lips and chin covered with your juices. The corner of his lips raised into a smirk. “You taste so good.” He said before he dove back in. Sucking down your clit.
You smirked at the camera, hand going to your breast. “Fuck! Dave! You are so good!” You pinched down your swollen nipple. Pulling him closer to your core by pressing your ankles on his back.
He pushed a finger inside you, eyes pointed up to your blissed face. You were looking right at the camera just like he told you. His pretty girl always followed his orders without making him give them twice.
“Fuck!Fuck!Fuck!” You were chanting out as he was brutally fucking you with his finger. His lips on your thigh, kissing along the soft flesh, pressing his teeth on your inner thigh.
He pushed another finger inside. “Are you going to cum?” You looked down at him, eagerly nodding.
“May I? Please daddy, I’ve been so close.” He chuckled, curling his fingers inside you. Earning a loud moan from you. “Please.”
Who was he to deny you from pleasure?
“Cum for me.” He said as he sucked your clit once more, fingers still moving inside you. Your body shook when he brushed along your sweet spot. Pads of his fingers pressing on it just right. “Fu—“ Your body jolted backwards, your mind went blank as the white pleasure surrounded your body.
You were panting heavily, as he got up between your legs slowly, his hand wrapped around his cock. Fingers shining with your juices. Your mouth watered with the sight. You wanted him. You wanted more.
With the dark look in his eyes, you knew he wanted the same. “Get on the floor. On your hands and knees.”
You got in the position like he asked, shaking your ass a little when you got on your knees. He slapped you harshly causing you to fall on your hands. Your lips parted, showing him one of his favorite views; your ass in the air, your hole greedily waiting for him.
He pressed his tip on your entrance, “Look at the camera, don’t close your eyes, or I’ll stop.” You knew this was more of a statement than a threat. Before you could say something he gradually pushed himself inside of you, letting go of his breath when he reached your limit. His cock twitched inside you when your walls welcomed him inside.
“Oh.” You moaned at feeling full, still sore from his fingers. Your pussy greedily accepting him, already addict to the sweet pain.
He could see your glossy, lustful gaze thanks to the camera. Cursing himself for not thinking this sooner. Not thinking of saving these moments of you. Not starting saving anything he could save from you.
He placed his hands on your waist. Getting his momentum as his hips started slapping against your ass, not wasting any time with being gentle. Today was not one of his gentle, love making days. He needed you. He needed to take what was his.
He was not having a great time at work. Now he also had to handle Carol and stop her from attacking you.
He had to protect you and he had no objection to that. If it was allowed, he would tear up the limbs of anyone who dared to hurt you. It does not have to be physical abusive, just a simple word was enough to get him violent. There was nothing in this world that would stop him to protect you.
You were his purpose in life, his guiding light.
“Please.”
Your crying voice turned him back to reality, his eyes snapped back to the camera from your shaking ass. Your eyes teared from pleasure, thin layer of sweat covering your cheeks.
“Yes?”
“Please cum inside me. I missed feeling your cum inside. I’ve been empty for days.”
He had some stuff to take care of in Denmark. Unfortunately his little business trip took longer than he expected. So all you were able to do were some quick calls and exchanging text messages. Whispers of “I miss you” were exchanged as you bit your tongue not to say “I love you” too soon.
“Baby…” He said, getting faster than before, chasing his pleasure. You moaned, when he pushed in a bit too hard. Your hand stopped you from falling forward. Forehead almost hit the coffee table.
He cursed his ignorance, wrapping his arm around your neck, leaning over figure. He pressed his lips on your sweet spot behind your ear, feeling your body tremble between his arms. He nudged your temple with the tip of his nose, taking in your smell.
“I’ve got you.” He whispered, eyes locked with yours on the screen.
“You look so good, baby. I feel how you tighten around me, you want to cum again don’t you?”
“Yes, please.”
“You want me to make you?”
“Ye—yes...” His hand went to your clit from your waist, flicking it rapidly. “F—fuck! D—dave!”
“Go on, come all over my cock baby! Fuck you’re milking me so good.” He slapped your ass, grabbing a handful of the soft flesh before whispering to the shell of your ear. “You want me to cum inside don’t you? Fill you right to the brim?”
He groaned at how your walls tighten around him with your question. “Yes! Fuck yes! Please fill me up. I’ll do anything, please.” He sucked a bruise your neck, his hot breath from his nose fanning on your throat.
“If you really want to…” He said as he spurted out his cum inside you, pressing down on your swollen clit. Holding your body with his arm still wrapped around your neck as it trembled with your orgasm.
“Dave!” Your voice shook as you tried to keep yourself up. Feeling his hot cum spill inside you. He turned your head to the side, smashing his lips to yours. You moaned into the kiss, opening your mouth for his tongue to enter. Your salty taste on his tongue as he sucked yours.
Taking everything you offered to him.
He slowly took himself out, some of his cum spilled out from your hole. He tsked, gathering them with his fingers and pushing them back in. You hissed with the contact, looking over your shoulder to him.
“I’ll send someone tomorrow, to take care of the boxes. I don’t want you to worry about them.” You nodded, as he lied down next to you. Pulling your naked body to lie on his naked chest. You buried your head on his chest, kissing right above where his heart his.
You took the camera from the table, stopping the recording. You smiled at the video, thinking how better you looked than you guessed.
“Like a true temptress.” Dave said, as he buried his nose in your hair, his fingers drawing circles on your upper arm.
“Can I keep a copy as well?”
“Anything you want darling.” He said as he kissed you, slowly moving you to his lap between kisses. “Anything for you.”
The next morning Dave’s men came to collect the boxes. And Carol had an anonymous email in her inbox with no subject.
It was a small photo where Dave was eating you out. When she scrolled down, she saw your text added underneath.
Mine, back off.
Needless to say, the email disappeared a few minutes later it was read, without leaving any trace.

Fallin' All In You (Part 6) - Wanda Maximoff x Reader
Summary: You’ve known Wanda Maximoff since you were children. She was the shy and exceptionally beautiful twin sister of your best friend, Pietro. For the most part, you two never interacted, but that changes when against your better judgment, you begin to develop feelings for the girl.
Warnings: Only cursing for now
Note: Hey, everyone, I hope you are all doing well. I just wanted to share the last chapter of Fallin' All In You. I'm sorry it took so long, but I had a horrible writer's block for the ending. Good news: I'm already working on my next series. I'll share more info soon. Happy reading, everyone!
Word count: 3,162
Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5 Part 6
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
"Y/N," the blonde boy's voice pierced the air, a potent mix of urgency and confusion. He abruptly halted before the temporary fence enclosing the Ferris wheel, his eyes wide in suspicion.
You were frozen in your tracks as his voice hit you like a splash of cold water. At your side, Wanda gently let go of your hand and took a step away, causing a pang of pain in your chest at her sudden distance.
Pietro's eyes danced between you, yet yours remained fixed on the boy. The longer you remained silent, the more suffocating the atmosphere became. Crystal bounced on her feet uncomfortably and could no longer withstand the tension. She loudly clasped her hands together, drawing the attention of the group.
"I'm just gonna head to the restroom. I'll be right back, babe," she announced, awkwardly walking backward. Pietro half-mindedly nodded as he returned his gaze to you and Wanda.
"This is unexpected," he finally said, scratching his head. "I thought you were doing photography with Shuri today," he told Wanda with a quirked eyebrow before addressing you, "You said you were hanging out with Daisy, but instead, I found you here with my sister."
From your side, Wanda shifted, shooting you a questioning look. You internally kicked yourself for not thinking of a better lie than hanging out with another girl.
Wanda twisted her rings, eyes settling on anything but her twin brother. "Piet, I know you're upset. The last thing you expected to see tonight was your sister and best friend together."
Pietro scoffed and violently shook his head. "Is that what you think? Wanda, I've known about you two since before either of you did." The two of you shared a bewildered look, and Pietro released an exasperated sigh. "Sistra, anytime I mentioned Y/N, you'd grow flustered or hide away when she came over." He turned to you with a scrutinizing glare. "And you're no better, Y/N. Third grade, when Wanda shared her favorite color with the class, you suddenly started buying all things red despite blue being your favorite color."
You froze in place, utterly speechless, as his words hit you like a bolt of lightning, leaving you stunned and reeling. Your brain raced as the haze of the childhood memory disappeared at his words, and you suddenly remembered ruining your school supplies so your mother would have to buy you everything in red.
"I would have to be blind not to notice your little interaction while you're on the field. You were throwing lovesick glances at eachother throughout the game, for god's sake." He waved his arms around to make his point.
Your face flushed red, and you stuttered embarrassingly, trying to deny his words, yet you couldn't. Similarly, Wanda shifted in place, her face burning, as she stared at the grass.
"I'm not mad about you being together. In fact, I couldn't think of a better match since I love you both. Which is why I am hurt you were so afraid to tell me." He stopped stepping closer to you as he took a deep breath, calming himself. "It was fun at first watching you scramble around me, but now, are you that scared of me?"
Your heart dropped.
"Don't be mad at Y/N. She wanted to tell you, but I was too scared. You two have been friends since we were kids, and us being together..." She cast her gaze down, wrapping her arms around herself, and continued in a small voice, "If you want to blame anyone, blame me."
For the first time, you opened your mouth. "Wanda, you can't take the blame for a decision we made together. We are both at fault." You pried her hand away from its confinement, securing it as you turned to Pietro. "I'm sorry we kept it from you, Pietro. And no, it wasn't because I was scared of you. I lied because I was afraid of ruining our friendship."
Pietro's face softened at your declaration. "Y/N, unless you plan on hurting Wanda, you will never lose me, and I doubt you would ever do that to her."
"Never," you assured, shaking your head and glancing at Wanda. The young woman stared down bashfully with a tiny smile, and your heart swelled. You said the following words, staring directly at her. "I'm serious about us. I would have never risked our friendship if I wasn't."
"I know, and I'm sorry if I overreacted earlier. It's just you're my baby sister," he said, looking at Wanda.
She rolled her eyes, muttering, "It's only 12 minutes."
Pietro ignored her, turning to you, "And you're my best friend. That fact that you are together doesn't change anything. I still want you to rant to me when she nags you over playing too many video games like she does with me. Or whenever Y/N is being an idiot because we all know how dense she can be. I mean, it took her ages to figure out she liked you."
You turned red, and Wanda snorted, bringing her hand to cover her mouth in a futile attempt to save you from further embarrassment.
"No matter what, both of you can come to me."
Wanda lunged forward into his arms, hiding her face in his neck. He enclosed her in his arms, squeezing her tightly as he gave you a goofy grin.
"Bring it in." He removed one of his arms from Wanda and extended it to you invitingly. In normal circumstances, you would have pushed the boy for subjecting you to the embarrassing public display of affection. Yet the rollercoaster of emotions you endured clouded your judgment, and you soon joined the siblings, wrapping your arms around the two.
Although you could feel a few curious eyes on you and a tinge of self-consciousness, you still wrapped your arms around the two.
"Aw, how cute," Crystal cooed, settling next to you three, effectively ending the moment as you scrambled away from eachother. "Oh, don't stop on my account."
"Anyway, I wanted to ride the Inversion, but Crystal's a chicken," he flinched as she slapped his arm. "Are you down?"
You looked at Wanda, and she nodded. Yes, you were whipped.
"Lead the way."
The four of you made your way to the ride, only separating as you and Pietro got into the line, leaving the girls to wait on the other side.
Wanda and Crystal leaned on the metal railing, observing the spinning contraption in complete silence. Despite their lack of interaction, Wanda felt comfortable with the girl. Wanda had been around many of Pietro's conquests, and although she knew little of Crystal, she seemed different from the frivolous, self-centered girls his brother liked to date. Of course, she was otherworldly beautiful with her flowing strawberry-blonde hair, striking green eyes, and alluring personality: charismatic, confident, intelligent, athletic, but most importantly, kind. No wonder she was popular, and no wonder Pietro had gone after the girl.
Crystal shuffled on her feet while watching the operator open the railing gate, and more people, including you and Pietro, entered the ride.
"You know, when Pietro mentioned Y/N and Daisy were hanging out today, I thought the girl had finally mustered the courage to ask Y/N out," Crystal mused thoughtfully.
Wanda's furrowing face sharply twisted her way. "Ask Y/N out?
"Yeah, everyone knows she's had the biggest crush on her since freshman year, but you beat her to the punch. I'm not disappointed, though. You two make a cute couple," she explained dismissively, not sensing Wanda's distress, before waving to the moving ride. "Oh, there they go!"
She watched as the platform spun, and the two continued in silence. Wanda's mind lingered on the so-called Daisy. Who the hell was this girl who had a crush on you? Why did you tell Pietro you were hanging out? Did you know of her feelings? Wanda's head filled with insecurities like a dark cloud lumming in the sky.
The thoughts continued as you and Pietro rejoined the girls. However, they eased into the back of her mind as you took her hand and flashed her a bright smile—a reminder that she had the privilege of tasting your lips; she was on a date with you, and you wanted her.
Wanda squeezed your hand as the two of you followed Pietro and Crystal to the game stalls after deciding to continue as a group. The two of you teased her brother as he attempted to outsmart the rigged games as if you hadn't faced the same predicament earlier as you tried to impress Wanda.
"Why don't you try hook-a-duck? Maybe you'll have better luck," you playfully suggested as Pietro failed to knock down the entire tower of cans for the third time. Wanda snickered into your shoulder as her brother fixed you with a glare.
"Fuck off, Y/N. ," he said as he handed the boy in charge of the stall more bills. He recoiled his arm, preparing to throw, before an idea crossed his mind. "In fact, why don't you show me how it's done?" he offered, extending the bean bag to you.
You huffed nervously, looking to Wanda for help, as you remembered how you could only knock over a few cans earlier. Wanda had cleared all the cans.
"You should give it a try," she said with a devilish smirk, crushing any hope of evading the challenge. You stared at her in betrayal, eyebrows drawn together and mouth agape. Wanda revealed in your reaction, finding it humorous and equally adorable, so much so that she leaned in to kiss you on the cheek and whispered, "Aim for the bottom middle, detka."
A blushing mess and dazed, you took the bean bag from Pietro and positioned yourself behind the stall. Detka. The word rang through your skull, and you tried to recognize its meaning. For all you knew, she could be calling you an idiot, yet the soft and endearing tone made you think otherwise. You would ask her later, you settled.
You experimentally swung your arm, analyzing the pyramid. The base consisted of four metal cans, and per Wanda's instruction, you were to aim for the second and third. You inhaled deeply before releasing the bean bag in an underhand throw. It hits the second tier's third can, and three crumble, leaving seven remaining. You run your tongue between your lips, irked that you have missed your target, and you readjust your position. You throw again, this time hitting your target. The remaining cans in the second and third tier fall, and they miraculously knock the first can in the fourth tier, leaving only one left.
Wanda cheers you on from behind, and so does Crystal; Pietro complains beside her. "Babe?" He questioned reproachfully, and you stifled a laugh.
You aim the final bean bag at the remaining can, calculating how much strength to use. The bean bag grazes the can, moving slightly but not falling over.
"Fuck," you whisper defeatedly.
"Not so cocky now, huh?" Pietro mused, quirking an eyebrow at you.
"I don't think you have any room to talk, Piet. She still did better than you," Wanda defended, crossing her arms as you returned to her side with your new keychain.
"She's right, babe," Crystal joined in, biting back a laugh when Pietro turned to her with a look of betrayal.
"Oh, so that's how it's going to be. You're going to gang up on me, now?" He scoffed, his eyes jumping between the three of you. "Traitors."
The three of you could no longer contain your laughter at Pietro's antics. Oh, how you had missed him the past few years. Though you chatted frequently, nothing compared to the banter you shared when you were together.
"You're such a drama queen, Piet," you say, wrapping your arm around Wanda's shoulder, who hides a snicker behind her hand.
Pietro turns to respond, but Crystal takes him by the arm, leaning in to kiss his cheek. The boy's face softens, and the bright lighting of the stall allows you to notice a faint redness on his face as he grins, pleased with himself. He had accomplished what he sought: charming Crystal.
Some of you wanted to tease the boy, yet how could you when his sister had you following her like a lost puppy? Her kiss or a simple touch had you melting like ice on a scorching summer day. The evidence came when Wanda turned to you, a radiant smile spread across her face, causing your chest to tighten and leaving you momentarily breathless.
The group of you wandered around the fairgrounds, and before you knew it, it was 9:45 PM. You could feel your body growing tired, your feet aching after so much walking, and you could tell Wanda felt the same way. As your arms circled her waist with your chin resting on her shoulder, you could see her head tilt up and release a long yawn.
When Pietro and Crystal invited you to watch a local band the organizers booked to play, you and Wanda declined in favor of going home. Wanda fell asleep within ten minutes of your journey home, perhaps lulled by the soft voice of Lana del Rey. Unlike the night she had stayed over, you couldn't afford to admire the sleeping girl lest you wish for disaster. Then, you would undoubtedly replace Jarvis for the worst date ever.
You contented yourself by humming to the music and tapping on the steering wheel. When you parked in front of her house, Wanda remained deep in slumber, her chest rising slowly with each breath. How could she become more beautiful each time you look at her?
You reached over, gently rubbing her arm, and Wanda groaned, scrunching her face into a scowl, disgruntled by being disturbed.
"Wake up, sleepy head. We're here," you said, biting back a laugh.
Her eyes snapped open at your words, embarrassment washing over her face.
"Sorry," Wanda said, rubbing at her eyes.
Your lips twitch upwards, arching a singular eyebrow. "What for?"
"I fell asleep."
"I don't mind. In fact, I immensely enjoyed the little nose scrunch you do when sleeping. It's cute," you teased, recalling the small detail from the one time you risked a glance.
"Oh, god, stop," Wanda grumbled into her hands.
You hummed, your teeth grasping your lower lip, lost in deep contemplation.
"I don't think I will. I like making you blush. It makes you even more adorable," you stated matter-of-factly.
"Is that so? How about you then? You were red as a tomato when Pietro exposed you. Hmm, buy everything red because it's my crush's favorite color."
You opened your mouth to counter, yet nothing came out. She had you.
"Touche," you said.
"Oh, let's not forget all the staring you do. Just so you know, I have noticed. I preferred not to call you out, but why not since we are discussing what's adorable? Definitely adorable, don't you think?"
"I invoke the fifth," you said with a pout, glad for the lack of lighting, which concealed your burning face.
Wanda reveled in her victory with a knowing smirk. She would have happily continued her teasing were it not for a yawn that reminded her of her fatigue.
"I should get going," she signed.
"Okay," you agreed reluctantly, knowing you could talk to her for hours. However, you would not prevent her from getting her much-needed sleep.
Wanda moved to grab the door handle, but you stopped her.
"Let me," you said, rushing out to her side of the car to open the door. "Oh, let's not forget this."
You opened the back door, retrieving the bear you had gifted her. You then accompanied her to her front door, where you both lingered, trying to prolong the moment.
"Thank you for today. It was fun." Wanda wrapped her arms around herself, shielding herself from the light night breeze.
"Best date you've had, right," you remind, and Wanda rolled her eyes with a smile tugging at her lips.
"So far," she countered before giving you a chaste kiss. "Goodnight, Y/N." She turned to leave, but you reached out, grasping her elbow, fueled by the sudden kiss, to ask something you had been dying to.
"Wait," you drew out the word, heart hammering in your chest. "I was waiting to ask you because I wanted to do it right. You know, after we told Pietro—not that I need his permission or anything," you fumbled, scratching the back of your neck. Wanda watched, amused yet curious.
"Anyway," you said, taking her hands into yours and looking straight into her forest-green eyes. "Will you be my girlfriend?"
Wanda remained still, processing your words. For a moment, you thought she would reject you, telling you it was too early to commit in such a way. Then, something shifted, and you noticed the unmistakable twinkle in her eyes, reflecting pure happiness. Her wide grin stretched from ear to ear, revealing a set of radiant, pearly white teeth. Her answer came in one word.
"Yes."
"Yes?" you questioned, unbelieving eyes switching her own to her lips as you pulled her closer.
She only nodded, closing the gap. Your lips locked together, fitting like puzzle pieces in a gentle kiss. You quiver under her delicate hands as they settle on the curve of your jaw. Your hands found a home on her waist, pulling her closer and sealing any gap that remained between your bodies. Your lips moved gracefully and in perfect sync in a kiss of pure tenderness and devotion. There was no rush as you parted with a gasp, searching her face and finding her swollen red lips gaping for air and unbridled affection in her green eyes.
The mesmerizing sight ignited a surge of emotion as you retook her lips with intensified passion, causing your teeth to collide in a fierce kiss. Your surroundings disappeared, unconcerned by being discovered by the neighbors or Wanda's mother. You could only think of Wanda, the warmth of her body, and the hunger with which she returned your kiss. You felt your body ascend as you bit down on her bottom lip, and she moaned.
The kiss and the day's events quickly overwhelmed Wanda with emotion, from cracking jokes or intentionally making a fool of yourself just to make her laugh to the heartwarming way you had gifted her your skeeball prize—the same one she had dropped in favor of grasping your jaw. She would have to take better care of the bear. Even being discovered by Pietro had ended pleasingly. Everything had been perfect—everything except...
Wanda suddenly pulled away, lips smacking from the action. The brunette arched an eyebrow and tilted her head to the side in the menacing manner you loved. Although confused by the action, it only made you want to kiss her more. It was only her following words that stopped you.
"Who the hell is Daisy, and why did Pietro think you were out with her today?"
You chuckled nervously, looking at anything but the brunette. You were so in trouble.

Running home to your sweet nothings
Tumblr media
John "Soap" Mactavish x F! Riley! reader
Summary: Simon’s older sister is his entire world, the last person he has left, and someone he's fiercely overprotective of. This is too bad for Soap, who falls head over heels at first sight.
Word count: 4.8k
A/N: No mention of if reader is adopted/step/half/full siblings for inclusivity. NSFW content.
Tumblr media
It was raining the first time he met you, a grizzly downpour that seemed even gloomier than the usual shit Hereford weather. Maybe he’d simply forgotten how miserable the country could be after extended time in South America, but Soap could have sworn mother nature had decided to fuck with him specifically.
The rain is one of the only things he remembers from that day, exhaustion heavy set in his bones, other than you that is. He remembers because just as he’d been about to head off into the downpour, a car had come screeching into the base and promptly scared the sleep from his body.
Squinting, Soap barely managed to make out the sight of the car door being thrown open. The booming, thick Mancunian accent that bellowed over the rain was not as hard to distinguish, “Simon, hurry the fuck up!”
Soap nearly choked at the audacity of the stranger, his jaw actually dropping when the Lt. simply grumbled softly, turning to murmur something to their captain. He was still stuck in the emotional rollercoaster when there was suddenly a dripping wet but beaming woman in his vicinity.
Stunning didn’t even begin to describe you, even as strands of hair stuck to your cheeks, a hand hastily coming up to wipe them away as you made it to the undercroft. You’d grinned at the team, all teeth and sparkly eyes even as Ghost seemed like he’d be more enthused if someone told him his dog died.
His hulking Lieutenant said something Soap couldn’t even begin to decipher, too entranced by the stranger in front of him when you spoke again. “You must be Soap! Simon’s been trying to keep me away from his team for some reason, So I decided not to give him a choice.”
You threw your friend? Cousin? Brother? Lover? A playful glare before you laughed. It was the best sound he’d ever heard, and one he had instantly vowed to make sure he heard again.
Soap really hoped you were single.
“John.” Soap’s heart stopped at the melodic sound of his name coming from your mouth, cheeks flushing in mild embarrassment as he realised you weren’t addressing him but Captain Price. The Captain nodded and smiled back at you, clapping a friendly hand on your shoulder in a way that breathed familiarity.
It’s only when Soap finally manages to get his tongue to start working again that he swaggers over, elbowing Simon jokingly in the side as he wiggles his eyebrows “Who’s this then? Been holdin’ out on us Lt?” Simon doesn’t answer, throwing him that signature soulless stare of his as you roll your eyes.
“I shouldn’t be surprised, but I can’t say it hurts a little. Don’t wanna brag about me to your teammates baby brother?” You pouted, leaning against your sibling only to be immediately pushed away by the face as Simon grunted.
Older sister. Soap was both simultaneously relieved and even more horrified by the revelation.
You weren’t dating Simon, which meant he had more of a chance! It also meant he’d have to get Simon’s approval, and given the harsh glare he was on the receiving end of, Soap didn’t rate his chances.
“John Mactavish, at your service lass” he introduced himself, laying on the charm, shaking your hand and marvelling at the feel of your skin against his as you relayed your name. He only spends a few minutes mentally cussing out the Lt for being there, staring into his soul and preventing him from planting a kiss against your knuckles.
Soap’s forced to let go far too soon for his liking when Simon huffs, tugging you back to your car as you chastise him for being rude, waving a hasty goodbye to the 141 before getting back behind the wheel. Leaving him to pine from afar, internally cursing when he realises he’s got no way to contact you.
The car has long since peeled out of the lot and is far from sight when a hand clasps on Soap’s shoulder, startling him from his daydreams, “Not a chance son.” Garrick laughs in the background as Soap pouts at the betrayal.
Tumblr media
The second time you meet, the sun is shining, enhancing your radiance as the gentle rays caress your skin. He thinks you’re much better suited to this kind of weather, it allows your smile to really gleam.
It’s a complete coincidence that you run into each other only a few weeks after your initial and far too abrupt meeting and Soap chooses to take it as the universe’s divine blessing. As much as he’d tried to banish the images of you from his mind, aware of your status as “forbidden fruit”, Soap doubted he’d ever truly be able to.
He’s calling your name before he can stop and think, one hand raised and frozen in the air as you steal the breath from his lungs once more. Rapid beeping in the background alerts Soap that the crossing light he’d been waiting for has turned green but he pays it no mind, errands forgotten in the prospect of speaking to you.
You blink in surprise before gracing him with a beaming smile as you jogged to close the gap between you, “Oh, Soap Hello.”
“Call me Johnny,” the words are breathed out with very little thought. He hates people calling him that, but when you utter it he swears he’s never heard a better sound.
“Enjoying a day off?” You inquire, falling into step beside him as the two of you start to walk again with you following his lead.
“Aye, been putting off the grocery run for too long.” You nodded in understanding, listening intently as he started to ramble, only cutting himself off in embarrassment a few minutes later when he realised you’d been silent the entire time. Nervously, he scratches his flushed cheek with an apology, “Sorry for gettin' a bit carried away lass, you’ve probably got better things tae do than listen to little ol’ me carrying on like a twat.”
Your pretty lips slip downwards and your brows furrow adorably as you shake your head, “why are you apologising? I’ve enjoyed listening to you.” Soap’s heart skips a beat at your completely earnest expression, fuck. He was so screwed.
Tumblr media
The ding of his phone alerting him to a text from you sends Soap practically flying across the room, leaping onto his bed as he scrambles to respond. Johnny’s not been able to see you in person since that fateful day in the sun, you've been texting nearly non-stop but it’s not nearly enough for him.
Perhaps that’s why he’d so quickly responded with a very enthusiastic yes without fully thinking through the situation's implications. Johnny stares in stunned shock at his phone for a few seconds as it sinks in what he’s just agreed to. A few more seconds and his body kicks into gear, clothes flying as he strips himself to jump into the shower. He nearly slips several times in the rush and ends up squirting shampoo into his eyes, causing him to cuss and then inevitably get it in his mouth.
The next obstacle is his clothes. He needs to impress you but it is like every piece of clothing he owns is suddenly inadequate. Too casual, far too formal, stained, dirty, gym wear, uniform, nothing is working and by the time he settles on some jeans and a semi-nice shirt he’s worked himself into a sweat again.
Checking the time, he decides he has enough left to quickly rinse off once more, nearly scrubbing his skin raw in the rush. Outfit on it isn’t until he’s on the street that he realises he’s left his wallet inside. The wallet he needed to buy you the flowers you deserved.
By the time he finally makes it to your door, wiping sweaty palms on his jeans as he shifts his weight anxiously he’s only got a few minutes to spare. Triple-checking he’s got the right address (after he’d checked multiple times before), he knocks on your door, brain whirring as he tries to figure out his opening line.
As the door swings open the words die abruptly on his tongue, mouth drying like the Sahara as the lumbering figure of his lieutenant answers instead of you. The silence is damning and John wishes for the first time in his life for the Earth to open up and swallow him whole as all the blood drains from his face.
“Johnny?” The gruff voice is flat and unimpressed, the gaze that struck fear into the hearts of enemies boring into his soul. Staring up into those cold brown eyes, John realises with horror that Simon is somehow even scarier without the mask.
“Johnny!” The second call of his name is far lovelier and filled with excitement and Soap dies a little more on the inside as he watches the liuetenants scowl deepens even further. Yet the second he catches a glimpse of the beaming smile on your face as you catch sight of him and the flowers makes it all worth it in Soap’s mind, “for me?” you gasp before giddily taking the bouquet.
He watches you flit around with the sunflowers as you look for a vase, proudly displaying them on your coffee table and the pulling him for a hug. It’s almost enough for him to ignore the menacing figure that is Simon Riley looming in the background like a wraith, almost.
The food is divine, most things are to him compared to the food he consumes on deployment and his own cooking, and he makes sure to complement you endlessly. He watches how receptive you are to his flirtations and lays it on a little thicker, he’s willing to risk that his lieutenant won’t actually beat the shit out of him for it.
Simon’s washing the dishes when Soap finally gets some time alone with you, sitting on the couch next to you close enough that your knee brushes his. “Thank ye for inviting me lass, ‘s been lovely. Though maybe next time I could take ye out, just the two of us?” Your breath hitches a little and you nod eagerly,
“I’d like that a lot Johnny.” The moment is once again cut short, this time by an aggressive cough, and Johnny and you turn simultaneously to catch Simon standing behind the couch with crossed arms. Like a child caught sneaking a cookie before dinner, Soap feels oddly guilty. Before he can move, you’re placing a comforting hand on his knee, responding to your brother even as the man inquisition glares at said hand. “Done with the dishes already?”
A terse nod is the only response and Johnny gets the feeling that Simon is attempting to blow him up with his mind. Yet the feel of your thumb rubbing comforting circles against his knee makes it all worth it in Soap’s mind.
Tumblr media
The hours pass as drinks and conversation flow, all the while with Simon brooded in the corner like an angsty toddler. You don’t seem to be too bothered by the hulking man’s behaviour and Johnny’s so enamored by you that he can’t find himself to care about the silent threat.
It’s not until you glance up at the clock on the wall and gasp that Soap realises how late it’s become. “Ah I should probably be heading out,” he reluctantly voices, only to watch as your face becomes aghast.
“Absolutely not, it’s far too late. You’ll sleep here,” you admonished, flitting about to gather blankets and pillows. It’s the first instance of the night where he’s left alone with Simon and as the man continues to stare Soap silently begs for your swift return.
Suddenly Ghost is standing right next to him, the height difference abundantly clear, and not for the first time that night Soap feels small. “I don’t know what you think you’re up to Mactavish, but it stops now,” the man’s voice seems even gruffer than usual, a dangerous whisper just for John’s ears.
Whether it’s from having the silent warning finally voiced or the part of him that is ruffled from being told what to do with his personal life, Johnny’s hackles raise, “and what would that be Lt? Gettin’ tae know a pretty lass that wants to know me too?”
Brown eyes narrow in furious warning, the ‘watch it Mactacish’ abundantly clear. But Soap has never been one to back down, especially not when a potential relationship with you is on the line.
“She’s too old for you,” Simon huffed when it became clear that the younger man wasn’t backing down and Soap’s blood boiled even further, refusing to admit how much the words shook hims confidence.
“Think tha’s up to her mate.” Unfortunately, his voice wavers slightly and Simon notices, evidently deciding to capitalise on it.
“You’re just a child to her, someone to look after and mother.” The sound of your footsteps pacing back down the hallway stops the arguments in its tracks. When you stumble back into the room, arms full of more pillows that anyone could possibly use, it’s to an incredibly tense silence. Though Soap’s heart swells at the sight of the various pillows and blankets obstructing your form.
Finally, Simon exits the room, with one last silent warning as you fuss over Soap, practically tucking him into the couch you’ve fashioned into a bed.
Tumblr media
Try as he might, Soap can’t fall asleep, too wired simply by the fact that he’s still in your living space. That you are sleeping not 100m away from him, never mind your imposing younger brother. The ticking of the clock on the wall is minute and on any other occasion he likely wouldn’t have even heard it but it was like hi senses had been dialled to the max.
Groaning in irritation he ground his palms into his eyes before he swung his legs around and wandered through the darkness into the kitchen. He’s wary of waking you as he rifles as quietly through your cupboards for a glass as possible, holding back a pained curse as his shin harshly hits the kitchen bench.
Despite his best efforts he must not have been quiet enough as a few moments later a soft, sleepy voice has him whirling around. “S’everything alright?” You stood before him, rubbing one of your eyes with a yawn and dressed in an oversized shirt. The ensemble was overwhelmingly adorable and it took all his self restraint not to coo at the sight.
“Fine lass, did I wake ye?” He frowned, voice tinged with guilt as he watched you step closer into his space, acutely aware of how close you’d gotten. You shake your head no as you lean on the counter next to him, your arm lightly brushing against his.
“Couldn’t sleep… not when I kept thinking about you out here on the couch.” Hesitantly you allowed yourself to look into his wide blue eyes only to find him already staring at you with blazing intensity.
“Think about me a lot darlin?” His words are a husky whisper, tongue darting out to wet his lips as his gaze darted down to yours.
“No more than you do about me I’d wager,” you managed to reply over the pounding of your heart. You’re not entirely sure who moves first but the light clatter of the glass Johnny had been holding against the counter is quickly drowned out as large, warm hands gently cup your face as lips lined with stubble are on yours.
It’s short and sweet and when you pull back your eyes are wide where Jonny’s are half lidded and dazed. Barely three seconds pass before you’re pulling him back against your lips, hands curling in the hair on the base of his neck as one of your thighs pressed between his legs. You swallow the guttral groan he lets out with a smirk, pushing him further against the counter until the sound of a glass tipping over had you darting apart.
Fighting to regain your breath and composure you reluctantly step back to create a respectful distance even as Johnny’s hands absentmindedly trail after you as if to pull you back against him. When more than thirty seconds pass and there’s no indication that your little brother has awoken, you allow yourself to relax once more.
Johnny’s hands are suddenly on your hips again and he pulls you against him so eagerly your forced to brace your hands on his muscled chest. His lips meet the skin of your neck with a satisfied hum and it takes all your strength to pull away, especially when he whines in dissatisfaction.
“Not tonight Johnny,” you hummed, placing a soft kiss on his cheek before pulling away and forcing yourself to walk back to your room before you dropped to your knees and took him in your mouth righ there in the kitchen as your brother slept in the next room over.
Not tonight Johnny. Your words echoed in his mind, repeating over and over as the implications settled in. Not tonight. But not never, just not now. Throwing his head back Soap exhaled heavily, trying to calm himself down over the thrum of his blood. Shuffling back to the couch he tries valiantly to ignore his throbbing dick, an impossible task when he can still feel your lips against his and the soft squish of your hips beneath his palms.
It’s a long and torturous night.
Tumblr media
The next 36 hours are spent with the visage of your kiss swollen lips at the forefront of his mind, the ghost of his name whispered hoarsely from your lips featuring consistently in his fantasies. He’s a lovesick fool reminiscent of a teenage boy but he can’t find it in himself to be embarrassed, especially not when you show up at his front door three days post kiss and drag him off to a local aquarium.
The sight of you getting excited over the various fish and marine wildlife as you eagerly tugged on his hand only served to further his infatuation. Your first date ends with yet another breath taking kiss and Soap falls asleep that night filled with certainty that there will never be another person after you.
You don’t even make it to the third date. Soap opens his door only to freeze at your outfit, dinner long forgotten as he pulls you inside and presses you against the door. You’re quick to reciprocate, moaning against his lips as clothes were thrown and you were finally bared to him. Your body was better than anything Johnny could have ever imagined and he eagerly dropped to his knees, burying his face in your cunt with the voracity of a man starved.
He’s made you cum thrice on his tongue and fingers before you’re harshly tugging on his mohawk and mashing your lips together in a sloppy kiss, walking him backwards until he hits the couch and you're straddling his throbbing length. You’ve already tugged his shirt off, but don’t bother with his pants beyond freeing his cock. He barely gets to appreciate the feel of your soft hand grasping him before its replaced by the silky heat of your cunt.
Soap’s forehead drops to rest on your collarbone as you both groaned, taking a few seconds to adjust to the sensation. It didn’t take long before you were rocking your hips against his, Johnny’s hands gripping your hips to the point of bruising as he lavished your tits with bites and kisses. He’s so pent up from weeks of fucking his own fist and waking up achingly hard from increasingly risque dreams that it hardly takes any time before he’s practically fighting his orgasm. “Need you to slow down darlin, ‘m not gonna last,” he grunted, trying to get you to cooperate a little.
“Then cum baby,” you nonchalantly commanded, continuing to ride him with vigour and Soap’s ears filled with white noise, all he could see, hear, feel was you.
“Where-” He managed to choke out through gritted teeth, only half heartedly trying to pull you off of him.
“Inside” you panted, and that was all it took before his hips stuttered and he climaxed, whining a little as you kept riding him until you clenched down on his already softening cock, reaching your own orgasm. The two of you stayed locked together, your head tucked into his sweaty chest placing lazy kisses as you caught your breath.
By the time you finally rolled out of Johnny’s bed and made your way home the following afternoon you had over twenty texts from your brother and more than a few missed calls that left you cringing. The attempt you make to sneak back into your own residence! Is immediately thwarted by your perpetually overprotective and nosy brother.
The laser focused glare that settles on your bruised neck has you wilting like a scolded child. You manage to play it off as a one night stand, having picked up a random woman from a bar, asking him is sex was suddenly made illegal when you weren’t aware.
As you clamber into the shower to rinse off the stench of sex, a shiver runs down your spine as you mentally vow that Simon can never figure out who the culprit of your mauled neck is.
Tumblr media
You’re only granted three weeks of bliss with Johnny before everything came crashing down violently. Until then you’d been vigilant at only sleeping at his and going on dates far away from where you knew Simon would be.
You’d gotten complacent, too comfortable in the belief that Simon wouldn’t find out, that you’d get to enjoy the relationship for a little longer before you were forced to share with your little brother. Simon wasn’t supposed to be home, Johnny had spent the night at yours and it had been so wonderful to wake up in his arms in your own bed.
Johnny had woken you by peppering kisses along your face and neck as you giggled and tried to push him off, complaining about his prickly stubble. He used his training and bulk to weigh you down, the playful nips turning more sensual as he kissed his way down your stomach, throwing one of your legs over his shoulder.
Your hands tangle in his mess of a mohawk as you writhe beneath him, whining in protest when he uses his hands to hold your hips down to keep you still. “Johnny,” you choke out a moan of his name at the same instance your bedroom door swings open and there’s a thunderous roar of fury as Simon screams at your boyfriend.
A shriek leaves your lips as you kick Johnny in the shoulder so hard he flies off the edge of your bed, simultaneously pulling the blanket up and curling in a ball to hide your naked body. Chaos couldn’t even begin to describe the following seconds as your still horny brain tried to cotton on to what was happening.
The mortification of your little brother not only seeing you naked but witnessing you mid fuck quickly fades when he stalks into your room towards the still prone and processing Johnny, and morphs into an immense sense of terror. “Simon!” You clamber to place yourself between the two men, unsure as to whether things are about to descend into violence, as Johnny finally manages to orient himself.
“Out. Now.” Your brother addresses the sergeant, cold fury tinging his words as the muscles in his jaw clench. You scoff at that, reaching back to grab Johnny’s bicep to keep him there.
“No. He stays.” Simon completely ignores your presence, glaring past you as if you weren’t even there.
“Johnny,” the warning is clear and you’re familiar enough with Simon’s tells to know how close he is to blowing up, or rather as close to as he ever gets to blowing up.
“Simon enough! I’m not a child, I’m a grown ass woman and I will fuck whoever I wanna fuck.” You're starting to reach the end of your own tether and it’s only Johnny’s presence, his warm chest pressed to your back that’s grounding you.
“Not him,” he denies stubbornly, arm crossed as he continues to glower at the two of you.
“Why not? He makes me happy. Don’t you want me to be happy?” It takes everything in you not to burst into tears at how poorly this is going. You would have thought that of all the men in the world Simon wouldn’t have minded you falling in love with one that he already knew and trusted.
“Right now maybe. What happens when he breaks your heart? When I have to have his back in the field after you’ve spent days crying over him huh? What happens if he doesn’t come home and I have to watch you shatter into pieces all over again like after Tommy?” You fall silent at that, swallowing harshly at the reminder of your deceased brother. Simon’s words hit you like a slap in the face and you actually stumble backwards a little as Johnny catches you.
“Simon mate I get ye wanting to protect yer family but yer being a little controlling dontcha think?” Johnny tries to speak up in defense of your relationship but from the way your brother’s breathing deepens you can tell the words have the opposite effect.
There’s a few seconds of tense silence before Simon huffed, “fine, do what you want,” before he stormed from your room. It’s not until you hear the front door slam closed that you fully allow yourself to collapse, tears streaming down your face in earnest as Johnny cradled you.
He does his best to console you, whispering reassurances into your ears that you don’t really process as Johnny manoeuvres you back into bed, bundling you up in his arms and the blankets. You spend the rest of the day crying in bed, obsessively checking your phone for news from Simon and waiting to hear the front door open.
“I’m so sorry lass, never intended to come between ye and Simon,” there’s genuine self loathing in your boyfriends voice and it’s enough to finally pull you from your own spiral.
“Don’t you dare apologise for him Johnny” you hissed, taking his face in your hands, “you have done nothing but bring me happiness. Simon will just have to get over it because I don’t intend on giving you up… unless that’s something you want?”
“Never. I’m afraid yer stuck with me forever now bonnie” he stated with such certainty that you’ve no choice but to believe him.
“Forever?” you breathed out.
“Forever.” He confirmed with a goofy grin, planting a comforting kiss on your forehead. “Simon will come around. He loves ya too much to brood forever.” With that he finally manages to coax you to sleep, promising to stay awake and keep an ear out for your wayward brother.
Tumblr media
Simon makes his way home a few days later, slinking up to the porch where you sat smoking a cigarette to help relieve the stress like a cat that had run away only to decide the outside sucked. You don’t ask where he’s been and he doesn’t tell, simply slumping down next to you before stealing your smoke.
“Filthy habit, thought you quit,” he grunted, putting it out beneath his boot.
“I did, but it’s been a stressful few days, my little brother decided to go MIA, left me worried shitless,” you huffed, throwing him a blatant side eye as you can’t bring yourself to look at him directly.
There’s silence for a few seconds before you make out the soft rumble of, “He sounds like a right bellend.”  You hummed in response, exhaling harshly from your nose. The two of you continue to sit in silence, both unsure how to proceed.
You’re saved from having to say anything when there’s a bang, causing you and Simon to swivel in alarm to watch as the front door was violently swung open to reveal a grinning Johnny dressed in an apron. He pauses upon seeing your brother but takes the man’s appearance in stride, grin never fading as he proclaimed, “eggs are ready,” before disappearing back inside.
Wiping your hands on the cotton material of your pants you stand, take a deep breath and then step back inside, pausing at the threshold to finally look at Simon, tilting your head as if to ask, ‘you coming?’
Simon doesn’t move, sighing in exasperation, “He’s staying then?”
“Looks like it.” To your surprise he simply nods, lumbering up the small steps and following you inside to the warmth of your home, stopping only to kick off his boots, exposing the frog socks you’d bought for him only a few months back.
Things were still far from ok, you weren’t willing to completely forgive Simon for blowing up and promptly worrying you sick with the disappearing act, but the sight of those ridiculous socks was enough to reassure you that they would be soon.

Part Six:
“You’re being stupid.”
You were vividly aware of that. After all, how could you not be being stupid when you were sitting on your floor, a hand mirror propped up in front of you and a whisk on your neck.
Arguing with Jeonghan was one thing but this couldn’t really be considered arguing, could it? After all, you hadn’t even let Jeonghan explain himself. You had practically thrown a fit somewhere where he couldn’t do anything about it and then left.
You hadn’t ever thought that you would end up using one of your safe words with Jeonghan, and honestly, the safety phrase that you two had come up with left your lips before you could really think over it carefully.
You remembered what Jeonghan had said. How he got reassurance in the trust you gave him. You wondered how he felt considering in that moment it probably seemed like that trust was gone.
Jeonghan deserved to feel that hurt from lying to you.
… Probably.
You didn’t know why he was lying to you, so you couldn’t really say with full confidence whether he deserved to feel hurt.
You also couldn’t ignore the knot in your stomach. You didn’t want to hurt Jeonghan. You still trusted Jeonghan. You knew he wouldn’t do anything to physically hurt you. You just… Also didn’t trust him in some ways. Maybe he would do something to mentally hurt you.
Your mind started to bring up instances in which Jeonghan had showed undeniably that he didn’t want to mentally scar you and you shook the thoughts out as quickly as you could.
You didn’t want to think about this right now.
Your eyes narrowed at your reflection in the mirror.
“Y/n,” Yeongtae said, trying to garner a reaction from you. You ignored him in favor of twisting the whisk over one of your hickeys. Yeongtae sighed.
“Why is she so stubborn?”
Jeongyeon shrugged.
“She’s always been like that. Just let her be dumb. She figures it out eventually.”
You shot a glare at Jeongyeon.
“I’m being dumb?” You demanded. “I’m not the one lying to a fuck buddy about fucking other people.”
Jeongyeon gave you an annoyed expression.
“But you are the one on the floor using a whisk to get rid of hickeys that you know you love,” Jeongyeon pointed out. “And you’re also going to be the one crying in bed later when you realize that the one thing you still have left of Jeonghan has been literally whisked out of your neck.”
You pressed your lips together and focused back on your whisk and neck. You didn’t want to say that Jeongyeon was right because she couldn’t be… Right? This situation was not a situation that warranted crying. You weren’t that emotionally attached to him.
Sure, you had spent a lot of time together, and yes you were abnormally angry at him for just another fling but that didn’t warrant crying.
He hadn’t necessarily hurt you either. He just lied.
It was shitty that he lied to you, but you were mad because he was stupid. Mad because it didn’t make sense. But he hadn’t hurt you, so there was no reason to cry.
Still, Jeongyeon’s words worried you. You looked at yourself in the mirror, your eyes flickering down to the hickeys on your neck. You knew that they would fade with time regardless of you whisking them away, which sort of asked the question that you didn’t really want to address.
Was this it? Were you done with Jeonghan?
He had lied to you, you were mad, those were two things that you were acutely aware of, but did this situation warrant cutting him off completely?
You felt sort of like you were acting out for no reason. If you were a psychology professor evaluating this situation you might say that it seemed like you wanted extra attention from Jeonghan and that was why you were making such a big deal over something that was realistically a conversation.
But with the knowledge that you actually had of the situation that just didn’t align.
“I’m not going to cry over Jeonghan,” you said finally. “I’m over him.”
It didn’t take a genius to know that no one in the room believed you.
“Really,” you insisted. “Jeongyeon knows how I am. He’s just another boy to get over. I’ve been in this situation a million times.”
Jeongyeon shrugged.
“Well, she’s right there. If y/n is good at anything it’s at dropping flings that aren’t treating her right,” she agreed.
“But Jeonghan-”
“He lied,” you interrupted, shooting Jun a glare. “If he didn’t want me to leave, he shouldn’t have lied.”
You thought over your words, that residual doubt still lingering in your mind. You pressed your lips together. “Besides. He’ll be sleeping with other people in no time. I’m not the sort of person that Yoon Jeonghan would get attached to.”
-
The first thing that Jun was greeted with upon getting back to the Alpha Mu house was none other than a pacing Yoon Jeonghan.
Jeonghan hadn’t slept well at all since you had left him at the party, and everyone in the house knew. He wanted to check on you. He wanted to see you. He just wanted one conversation.
“Well?” Jeonghan asked, his eyes flicking nervously to Jun as he toed off his shoes at the door. “Does she miss me? What did she say? Should I call her?”
Jun gave Jeonghan an apologetic look.
“She says she doesn’t care,” he said.
Jeonghan cursed, his gaze dropping to the floor, but the conversation only made Seungcheol laugh humorlessly.
“I told you. I told you that if you treated her badly, she would leave,” he said with a shake of his head. “But what did you do? Used her, abused her-”
“That’s dramatic,” Jeonghan interrupted.
“You lied to her!” Seungcheol argued back.
Frustration filled Jeonghan to the point where he felt like he was going to boil over. The others didn’t get it. Seungcheol didn’t get it. They didn’t see the way he treated you.
“I can explain that to her I just need to talk to her,” Jeonghan insisted. “I’m just going to call her.”
Jeonghan pulled out his phone but just as he did Seungcheol grabbed it.
“No. You don’t get that chance,” he said. Jeonghan’s face was starting to turn red, and Seokmin and Minghao shared looks of resignation to the fact that they wouldn’t be finishing their assignments any time soon.
“Give me my phone back,” Jeonghan said, his voice dropping to a dangerous octave.
“No,” Seungcheol repeated, squaring his shoulders. “You can’t force y/n to talk to you. If she wants to, if she decides to you will get the chance to get her back.”
“You have been against me and her from day one,” Jeonghan snapped. “You don’t get our relationship. I don’t treat her like an object. This is the last time I will ask. Give me the phone.”
“If you call y/n now, you are risking your entire relationship with her,” Seungcheol said. “You lied to her. She is confused. She doesn’t know where she stands with you. You will only further confuse her if you talk to her now.”
“The solution to this is a conversation,” Jeonghan insisted. He realized quickly that Seungcheol wasn’t about to just give him the phone, so he darted forward, trying to grab it. Seungcheol easily pulled it out of Jeonghan’s grasp.
He hated how sloppy he got when he was emotional. If this wasn’t about you he would have grabbed the phone easily.
Of course, if it wasn’t about you, he wouldn’t be arguing with Seungcheol at all.
“Let her think first. If you don’t listen to me about anything else listen to me about this.”
Jeonghan turned again to face Seungcheol, now even angrier but the anger dissipated when Seungcheol slammed his phone into his chest, forcing them to look at one another.
“Y/n let’s you do whatever the hell you want to her and puts up no fights. She trusts you to respect her when she says no, but she never says no.”
Jeonghan’s eyes narrowed at Seungcheol.
“So?”
“So, she said no. She used one of her safety phrases.” Jeonghan reached up to pull his phone out of Seungcheol’s grasp and once he had it Seungcheol dropped his hands to his sides. “Go ahead. Call her. But if you do, I guarantee she will never trust you again.”
Jeonghan stared at Seungcheol, trying to will him down with just a stare but Seungcheol wasn’t just anyone. He’d been with Jeonghan long enough to know when Jeonghan was just throwing a fit. And Jeonghan had been Seungcheol long enough to know when he was right.
“Fuck off, Seungcheol.”
But he was still going to be mad about it.
-
“Moved on already?”
You looked up at Yeongtae who you hadn’t even noticed had been staring at you for the last few minutes. Your eyebrows furrowed and your head fell to the side.
“Moved on…?” You murmured. He hummed and gestured to your phone.
“You’re checking your phone every ten seconds trying to see if anyone’s messaged you. You must have a hot new boyfriend.” You stared at Yeongtae for a few seconds trying to figure out what would have made him think that but then a smirk started to cross his lips and you realized what this was about.
“Yeongtae, I swear to god-”
“Seriously? Still?” He pressed, a laugh leaving his mouth. “How dumb are you?”
“I’m not dumb, I’m not even checking my phone that often,” you protested.
“Okay, not every ten seconds,” Yeongtae relented. “But more often than usual.”
He closed the book in front of him.
“Has Jeonghan not reached out to you yet?” He asked.
“Of course, he hasn’t,” you replied. “He’s Yoon Jeonghan. Remember? Massive University fuck boy? He’s probably fucking someone else as we speak.”
Yeongtae rolled his eyes.
“I know you’re in denial but be so fucking for real.” You made a face at his choice of words. “Jeonghan was utterly obsessed with you. He certainly hasn’t moved on that quickly.”
You looked away from him, letting an unamused noise of disagreance leave your lips.
“He really hasn’t called you?” Yeongtae asked again, but this time he seemed to be talking to himself. “I would have thought that he would have reached out immediately. Especially considering the way he talks about you.”
You perked up at that, your eyes darting back to Yeongtae.
“The way he talks about me?” You asked. Yeongtae hummed.
“Yeah, some of my study groups overlap with his so I see him every now and then. People are always asking about you, practically everyone has heard about your relationship.”
He shook his head clicking his tongue.
“People are such pigs sometimes. They’re always asking Jeonghan how to score with you, and he gets downright scary. If you didn’t like me I would probably be dead. I’ve never seen someone as relaxed as Jeonghan get angry so fast. He punched this guy Seonghun over you.”
It was a bit hard for you to imagine Jeonghan getting physical with someone else over you. Sure he had gotten a bit rough with Hyeon but you had sort of assumed that was mostly for show because you were there.
“No, he didn’t,” you said with a shake of your head.
“Seonghun has the black eye to prove it,” Yeongtae insisted. “Regardless, Jeonghan didn’t show his face at the last study group. I was sure he would call you.”
“Well, he hasn’t,” you said finally. You let silence fall between you two for a few moments. “… And, he wouldn’t no matter what because I told him not to call me.”
You could feel Yeongtae staring at you.
“Y/n?”
“Yeah.”
“You’re a different kind of stupid.”
“Hey.”
“You told him not to call you?” He reemphasized. “And you’re checking your phone waiting for him to call you?”
“I’m not-”
“Yes, you are,” Yeongtae interrupted. “How long are you going to be in denial over the fact that you still want to be with him?”
“Yeongtae he’s just…” You trailed off, feeling a bit frustrated. “He’s just a guy.”
Yeongtae rolled his eyes.
“You know who is just a guy?” He asked. “Yunjun, Seonghun, Jun, Me.”
“You’re not just a guy,” you protested. “And neither is Jun. We’re friends.”
“Oh,” Yeongtae said, seeming to be actually surprised by what you had said. “So then, because we have a relationship, despite it being non-romantic, you consider us as not just guys.”
You were a little disheartened that he would think otherwise.
“Well of course,” you agreed. “I can’t deny that Yunjun is just a guy, and can’t speak on Seonghun but we spend so much time together, how could I ever think of you as just a guy.”
A small smile crossed his lips.
“So then, all that time you spent with Jeonghan? Him taking you home after you got drunk, him taking you shopping, him building lego sets with you. All of that still reduces him down to ‘just a guy’?”
And just like that you realized that Yeongtae had just been putting on an act to make a point.
“Yeongtae,” you blurted, leaning over the table so that you could hit him lightly. He raised his hands in defense against you, laughing.
“I’m just saying,” he said. “Stop being a hypocrite and I’ll stop getting on your nerves.”
You sighed, returning to your seat.
“Look, I get you mean the best, but I really am not hung up on Jeonghan,” you said. “It’s just the end of…” You hated to say it. “A relationship albeit a non-romantic one. It makes sense that I would feel a little hung up on it.”
Yeongtae rolled his eyes.
“And here comes the psych major.”
You sighed.
“I’m just saying, what ever emotional attachment I have to him-”
“So, you admit there is one!” Yeongtae interrupted.
“Will pass,” you emphasized. “And it will pass fast because Jeonghan and I were barely emotionally attached in the first place. We just got comfortable with each other. That’s all.”
Yeongtae clearly wanted to press the subject but after searching your eyes for a moment he simply shrugged.
“Okay, I relent,” he said. “I’ll let you be stupid as long as you pay for dinner tonight.”
You let out a soft laugh.
“Yeah, of course, you will.”
-
You could feel everyone’s concern in the air as you promptly began to bury yourself in your coursework and it only made your situation more frustrating.
You knew they meant well. You knew that they just thought that you were focusing on work because you were trying not to think about Jeonghan but that simply wasn’t true. He was just a fling; you didn’t get hung up over flings.
You probably just missed the reassurance that Jeonghan gave you. That was it.
There was a soft knock at your door, and you frowned. You glanced at Jeongyeon who looked up at you from the floor.
“Are you expecting anyone?”
She shrugged.
“No.”
You sighed and got to your feet, walking over and cracking the door open. You didn’t think you could have been more surprised by who was at your door.
“Seungcheol?”
The man gave you a tired smile.
“Hey.” A frown riddled across his face. “Did you check to see who was at the door before opening it? You know you should be more careful when opening the door like that.”
You were getting a bit of dejavu.
“What are you doing here?” And on second thought- “How did you know where I live?”
“That’s where I come in-” Seungcheol was suddenly pushed aside by Jun who smiled at you before pushing past you too.
“Jeongyeon,” he whined loudly as he walked into your apartment, falling face-forward into the couch. “I’m really fucking bored, and I need help with chem.”
“You didn’t even bring your bag stupid-”
As Jeongyeon and Jun started bickering you turned your attention back to Seungcheol, leaning on the door frame.
“I don’t suppose you came here for Chem help?”
Seungcheol gave you half a grimace.
“Can we walk?”
-
It was cold out. You hated April. One day it was in the 70s, the next it was in the 40s all over again. Class being cancelled today had meant staying indoors and you had barely bothered to put jeans and a tshirt on. You wished you had thought to throw on a jacket.
Seungcheol had been quiet so far but upon you wrapping your arms over your chest he sighed and shrugged his own jacket off draping it over your shoulders before you could argue.
“Look, it’s about Jeonghan,” Seungcheol started off. You rolled your eyes.
“Yeah. Duh,” you mumbled. You tugged Seungcheol’s jacket tighter around your body.
“I don’t want to intervene in you two’s business,” Seungcheol started. “It’s just that we’re all sick and tired of Jeonghan’s attitude.”
He looked away from you.
“Usually, he’s really easy going but he’s just been a grumpy asshole all week.”
You snorted, finding it hard to believe that he would be so upset over what happened between the two of you, but Seungcheol’s expression stayed scary serious.
“I’m not saying you need to forgive him for being an idiot or anything,” Seungcheol said. “It was stupid of him to pretend like he was fucking other girls. I don’t really know what was going through his head.”
Seungcheol’s eyebrows furrowed as if he was trying to make sense of it, but after a few seconds passed he shook his head.
“Look, I don’t know. Don’t you miss him at all?”
You sighed; a bit heavier than you really meant to.
“Why should I miss him? We were just fuck buddies,” you stated. Seungcheol pressed his lips together, a strangled noise leaving his mouth.
“I just thought you had some emotional attachment to him I guess,” he stated. “After all, you got really jealous over that Chaedom situation.”
“Hey, Chaedom is just a bitch!” You protested, your voice growing a bit higher and louder. You cleared your throat. “I don’t care if he sleeps or slept with other people. Just Chaedom-”
“Right,” Seungcheol agreed. “Funny, that’s what Jeonghan always says about Yeongtae.”
You scoffed, stepping in front of Seungcheol so that he had to abruptly stop.
“Why do you care, Seungcheol?” You demanded. “We aren’t close. Jeonghan will move on and go back to his old ways- If he hasn’t already, and you’re better off without me there all the time anyways. Should I remind you what I sound like?”
Seungcheol raised his hands in the air.
“I’m not trying to pry,” he insisted. “I’m not trying to make you mad, I just…”
He sighed.
“I’ve known Jeonghan for years and never has he ever settled for anyone. He has sex practically once a week.”
“Yeah, I’m sure it was rough for him to go back to his old ways,” you scoffed.
“He hasn’t,” Seungcheol said. You rolled your eyes and you weren’t looking at him, so Seungcheol grabbed your wrist. “He really hasn’t.”
“Give him until the next party,” you said.
“Y/n, he is obsessed with you. He’s changed,” Seungcheol insisted. “You made him want something that he’s never wanted before and that scared him. He wants to reach out for you but he’s respecting your wish for space. Can’t you just… Whatever- Hate him forever, but you have to believe that he-”
“What? Loves me?”
You laughed.
“He doesn’t love me. He’ll move on. This next party for sure.”
“Then come,” Seungcheol said. His face was serious. You just frowned at him.
“I don’t want him to see me and think I want him back or something,” you mumbled. That wasn’t completely true. You didn’t want him to see you at the party because you knew that if he saw you and wanted to… You would let him take you all over again.
“Then come in a disguise. We’ll get Mingyu in on it. A wig, and different makeup than you usually wear-”
“Do you think he’s stupid?” You blurted. “He’ll see right through it.”
“Not if we’re good enough,” Seungcheol insisted. “Just come. Please.”
You took Seungcheol’s jacket off your shoulders, shoving it into his hands.
“you said you didn’t want to get in Jeonghan and I’s business? Well, then actually stay out of it.”
You briskly turned away from him, heading back in the direction towards your apartment. You heard Seungcheol make a defeated sound.
“Just… Think about it, okay?” He called after you.
“Fuck off,” you called back.
-
Unfortunately, what your mind had told you to say wasn’t what your heart was willing to enforce.
You couldn’t sleep that night because of your conversation with Seungcheol.
You had been pretty sure at a time that the boys of Alpha Mu liked you. Enough so that you didn’t think they would like to see you hurt. So, Seungcheol’s words caught you off guard.
If he thought Jeonghan had bad intentions, he certainly wouldn’t come to try and get you to take him back. That being said, it was odd that Seungcheol didn’t seem to care if you actually took back Jeonghan or not. He just seemed to want you to believe that Jeonghan genuinely liked you.
“Are you thinking about Jeonghan again?”
You would think that Yeongtae would have been tired of you glaring at him at this point, but he didn’t seem to care.
“You are so annoying when you aren’t getting laid. How do you make friends when you are in between fuck buddies?”
“Yeongtae I-” You wanted to scream at him as if he was wrong about the fact that you had been overly frustrated but… He was right. You really needed to blow off some steam but no matter how hard you tried you couldn’t touch yourself without thinking about how much better Jeonghan could touch you.
Whenever you closed your eyes, you heard him telling you what to do.
Whenever you took your clothes off you could hear him chiding you and telling you that you didn’t deserve him, but he would fuck you anyway, just because he pitied you-
“Oh my god, I don’t have to hear your thoughts to know that you are fantasizing about Jeonghan.”
“I’m not,” you protested. “God, why’s everyone acting like I miss him so much? He was just a fuck buddy.”
“Yeah, but he’s a fuck buddy you are still hung up on. Apparently, he’s more than just a fuck buddy,” Yeongtae argued. You couldn’t figure out how to respond to him, so you just threw an eraser at him. He didn’t even flinch.
“Look, you won’t convince anyone that you are over him until you prove it,” he insisted. “So…” He leaned forward, propping his elbows up on the table and resting his chin on his hands. “Let me set you up on a date.”
“What?” You asked. “Yeongtae, I’m not interested in dating anyone right now.”
“Right. Because you are still hooked up on Jeonghan.”
“No,” you disagreed. “Not because I’m still hooked up on Jeonghan. I just don’t want to go on a date.”
“What’s the worst that could happen?” Yeongtae prodded. “Maybe you hit it off with the person. Maybe you just relieve some of the built-up horniness in your body. Either way he pays for your meal.”
“How would you even set me up?” You asked, unamused by his prodding. “You don’t have any friends.”
Yeongtae cocky expression dropped into a genuinely hurt one.
“Ouch,” he said. You shrugged. “I told you the guys in my study group are all dying for a chance with you. And despite the fact that any guy with eyes on you makes Jeonghan mad, Minhyuk makes him the least mad of everyone.”
You ignored the comment about Jeonghan.
“Minhyuk?” You repeated. “I actually think I met him at a party once with Jeonghan.”
“Perfect,” Yeongtae insisted. “You even know him!”
“It was like a two-minute interaction.”
“Well, did you like him?”
You thought back on your conversation, and from what you remembered you couldn’t really say that you hadn’t liked him. Yeongtae seemed to notice your hesitance.
“It’s just one date. You guys can go somewhere public, and you’ll see how it goes,” he said, waving his hand in the air. As he spoke, he pulled out his phone. He typed for a little bit on his screen and then looked up at you. “Well?”
You stared at him.
“If I go on this date, you promise you’ll get off my back about this Jeonghan thing?”
Yeongtae very seriously drew an x over his chest with his fingers.
“Cross my heart.”
You rolled your eyes.
“Set up the date.”
-
Despite the fact you were up early quite often trying to sneak out of the Alpha Mu house, you hated getting up early. So, meeting Minhyuk at a coffee shop at 9 in the morning made you want to melt into the ground.
Still, if it would get Yeongtae off your back then it was worth getting up so early.
When you got to the coffee shop, Minhyuk was already there looking at the menu and you were surprised to find that he looked really well-kept when he wasn’t getting drunk at a party.
His hair was slicked back, and he was wearing a button-up and a pair of jeans. You felt a little under dressed in your tee shirt but you pushed aside the feeling. This date wasn’t that serious anyways.
“Hi Minhyuk,” you greeted, shooting the boy a smile. He turned over his shoulder, giving you a smile back. You noticed that two of his teeth looked like fangs.
“Hey! I can’t believe you’re actually here,” he said, his voice light. “I assumed Yeongtae was playing a prank on me.” He thought over his words for a second. “Yeongtae is a weird guy.”
You laughed.
“Considering you two aren’t friends, you know him really well,” you commented. You fell in step next to Minhyuk, looking up at the menu in front of you. Your eyes scoured the options but even as you did that your mind wasn’t entirely on the menu.
Minhyuk was taller than you, but not taller than Jeonghan was. Your eyebrows furrowed a bit as you made note of the distance that Minhyuk was putting between you two. Unlike other people in the past, Minhyuk was keeping a respectful distance from you.
Of course, you couldn’t help but think that it was nice when Jeonghan was holding you as close to him as you could get. When he had mentioned that he wanted you as eye candy, he really had meant it.
“So, what are you thinking about getting?” Minhyuk asked. Your attention snapped back to the menu, and you dragged out an exaggerated hum.
“A latte,” you said.
“Of course,” Minhyuk agreed. “But what flavor?”
“Now that’s the question,” you said. You crossed your arms over your chest, letting your head fall to the side. “What flavor?”
Once you had settled on a latte flavor, Minhyuk had insisted you go and sit down so that he could pay for the food. Even though Yeongtae had named one of the perks of going on this date as getting free food, you still persistently argued with Minhyuk over getting your drink paid for.
In the end however, you settled for him paying as long as long as you could repay him in the future.
“So, y/n, why the sudden change in attitude?” Minhyuk asked. “I thought Jeonghan was going to have my head the day that I proposed us trading numbers.”
You snorted.
“You have a good memory,” you commented.
“And then when Chaedom got back, I was starting to realize why he was so possessive.”
You rolled your eyes.
“I didn’t come here to talk about Jeonghan,” you said.
“You should have seen the way that Chaedom came back down the stairs,” Minhyuk added with a laugh. “It was not her day.”
You couldn’t help the smile that flickered across your lips at the statement.
“So, what about you? If you thought, I was so taken then why did you tell Yeongtae to hook us up?” You asked.
“Jeonghan has been testy recently,” Minhyuk replied. “Word on the street was that you two were taking some space.”
Your eyebrows furrowed slightly.
“Why are people so obsessed over Jeonghan and I?” You asked. Minhyuk hummed.
“Because Jeonghan is the guy who never settles and you are the one he settled for,” he replied. “Everyone who didn’t see you before is seeing you in a whole new light now,” he explained. “And I was just the lucky one who got to go on a date with you first.”
That was a weird thing to think about. The thought that people were interested in you now, partly just because you had messed around with Jeonghan for a little bit didn’t sit quite right in your head. Of all the things to come from all of this… That was the most unexpected.
“Well, some of your information is a bit inaccurate,” you said. “Jeonghan didn’t really settle for me. I was a phase just like everyone else.”
“True or not,” Minhyuk said with a wave of his hand. “I’m honored that you came out with me. I’m surprised that you’re over him so quickly.”
You rolled your eyes.
“I’m just another person Minhyuk,” you said lightly. “Besides, there wasn’t much to get over. We were just a passing fling.”
“I’m surprised to hear anyone say that so casually,” Minhyuk laughed. “But then again, you’re a psych major huh? It must be easy for you to sort through your feelings.”
“That’s not entirely true,” you said. “It’s just easier to name my feelings. Not to sort through them.”
Minhyuk hummed and nodded.
“And what feelings are you feeling right now?” He asked, his lips flickering into a smile. You took a drink of your coffee.
“I’m feeling happy,” you replied. “Relaxed.”
“And me? What am I feeling right now?” He pressed.
“Cocky,” you stated. “And flirtatious.”
Minhyuk broke out into a loud laugh, that quickly led to him covering his mouth. You laughed too, surprised by how funny he took your words.
“You’re right,” he said once his laughs had died down a little. “I have to lay it on thick though. If only to see you smile.”
You didn’t normally like people who flirted with you so brazenly, but Minhyuk was a lot more easy going than other guys like him. Plus, it helped that he was really attractive.
Conversation between you and Minhyuk turned quickly to other topics, and you were starting to think that it was going really well. Did you see you and Minhyuk dating in the future? No, probably not. But was it a relief to talk to someone who wasn’t walking on glass around you? Yeah, it definitely was.
You watched as Minhyuk’s eyes flickered over your shoulder, seeming to catch the attention of someone in the middle of your two’s conversation. Your eyebrows furrowed slightly at the action.
“Oh, Jeonghan-”
It was comical, really. Not only how fast that you turned around but at the fact Jeonghan’s full name didn’t even leave Minhyuk’s mouth before you were turning.
It only took you seconds to realize that no one was standing behind you, only seconds more to register the fact that Minhyuk was laughing. You pressed your eyes shut.
“God, not you too,” you groaned.
“Yeongtae told me that everyone thinks you’re still hung up on Jeonghan,” Minhyuk said lightly. “I had to see for myself outside of your vocal reassurance that you are.”
You turned back to face him, your shoulders slacking a little bit.
Okay, you missed him.
You couldn’t really deny it anymore. You were dying to see Jeonghan. Every day that you checked your phone you hoped to see a message from him, every time you went to the library you hoped to find him studying, every day someone talked about the Alpha Mu party this weekend you wanted to go.
And of course, you missed him.
You had grown accustomed to being around Jeonghan. You liked how he treated you. It was fun to be with him.
You knew that no one had said it was shameful to miss him, but you couldn’t help but feel like it was.
Because he had lied to you. Even if it was a small lie, it was a lie. You two had to have complete trust in your relationship.
But as much as you were homing in on that detail. The fact that he lied, you couldn’t quite put your heart into it.
“But really y/n. Why are you pretending not to be hung up on Jeonghan?”
You sighed and waved your hands through the air.
“I’m not pretending,” you replied. “I’m trying really hard to make it true.”
You looked down at the empty coffee cup in your hands, your eyebrows furrowing a bit.
“Okay, here me out,” Minhyuk said. “Let’s talk this out. Like… A school project.”
You looked up at him.
“Listening,” you said slowly.
“So, in this scenario there is a guy who everyone goes crazy for,” Minhyuk started. “And a girl who ends up catching his eye. Everyone can tell he is obsessed with her.”
“That’s-”
“This is just a random scenario!” Minhyuk interrupted, raising his pointer finger to his lips. You gave him a glare but let him go on. “So, if he is obsessed with her and everyone knows it. Psychologically speaking, why might she think otherwise?”
“Minhyuk-”
“It’s just a little on the spot presentation,” Minhyuk teased lightly. “Surely that’s easy for you to answer.”
Another sigh left your mouth.
“Maybe she thinks otherwise because he really isn’t obsessed with her.”
“What would other people gain by thinking that he is obsessed with her if it weren’t true?” Minhyuk asked. “After all, if he wasn’t then everyone who wanted to get with her instead would have no fear of repercussions.”
You fought the urge to argue with him.
“Okay, fine. There’s a couple of different reasons for it,” you said after a few moments. “Psychologically speaking she could be experiencing Imposter Syndrome.”
You thought over symptoms of Imposter Syndrome for a few moments.
“If not a specific syndrome, maybe she just has blocks to receiving affection, or maybe she’s clinging to negative core beliefs. She could even just be nervous to get into a serious relationship.”
“Okay, now that we’ve acknowledged what could be causing those thoughts, what caused the separation between the two?”
“I thought this was just a random scenario?” You asked skeptically. Minhyuk gave you an annoyed look. “He lied about sleeping with other people. Not saying that he wasn’t. He said he was, but it turned out he was only sleeping with me.”
Minhyuk’s eyebrows rose in surprise.
“Uh-” You saw him physically shake off his surprise. “Okay, so you find out. You’re mad?”
“Hypothetically,” you mumbled.
“So hypothetically, what is the logical next step to take?”
-
Of all the stupid things you had done recently, this might have to be the stupidest and it wasn’t even your idea.
Sure, looking at yourself in the mirror you looked a little different, but anyone with two eyes would be able to tell it was you.
“Keep in mind, it will be dark,” Seungcheol reminded you as if he could read your thoughts. “And you won’t be close enough to him for him to notice you.”
“And you never wear this kind of makeup,” Mingyu agreed. “And that wig looks nothing like what your hair usually looks like.”
“And most importantly, he isn’t expecting you,” Seungcheol added on.
You sighed. You supposed all that was true.
“I think he’ll still see through it.”
“He won’t,” Seungcheol assured. “This plan is foolproof. All you have to do is hang around my friend Yeonjun at the party, watching Jeonghan from afar. You’ll see that he hasn’t moved on and then you can decide if you want to have that conversation with him or not.”
It was still stupid. Hallmark rom com behavior. And yet, even so-
“Y/n, Yeonjun. Yeonjun, y/n.”
You eyed up the boy in front of you, give him a small smile despite your indifference towards him. He smiled a bit wider than you, his head falling to the side and his eyebrows scrunching together slightly.
“You’re y/n?” He asked, holding out his hand for you to shake. You ignored his hand. “You really do look different. That’s a good disguise.”
Mingyu personally seemed to take pride in that.
“Thank you,” he said with a smile. Seungcheol rolled his eyes and started to push Mingyu away.
“Okay, we’re going to go now so that Jeonghan doesn’t get suspicious of anything,” he said. He gave you a weird look, hesitating for just a moment. You raised your eyebrow at him. “Stick to the plan.”
Stick to the plan.
The plan wasn’t really a plan, and no matter how you thought about it you felt like you were in high school all over again. At your age, putting on a disguise to see if a guy really liked you was a bit childish. But, despite that, the plan was for you to spend the night at the party with Yeonjun, and watch Jeonghan from a far.
Why, Yeonjun? Because the salt and pepper haired boy was someone that you had never associated with before. So, if Jeonghan did think he recognized you, he would be thrown off by the fact you were with Yeonjun.
Maybe it was just the alcohol but as far as you could tell the disguise that Mingyu and Seungcheol had put you in was convincing. Nobody that had bumped into you thus far had recognized you. Even the Alpha Mu boys seemed to be none the wiser.
And Yeonjun, despite his excessive drinking, was proving to be quite the amusing partner in crime. As the night started out, the two of you had been located near the snack table. You had used this time to spot Jeonghan, while Yeonjun used this time to start drinking. At first he was quiet, just focusing on the alcohol, and then he seemed to go practically comatose. He stood next to you, completely silent, completely unmoving. It made him easy to ignore.
Jeonghan had started the night talking to Soonyoung and Seokmin, but as the night progressed, he started to move around the party. You hadn’t really pinned Jeonghan down as a particularly social person, despite the fact that he slept around.
You noticed that other than hanging out with the other frat boys he didn’t really associate with people. You were a bit surprised to find out that he was in a study group with Yeongtae.
Jeonghan didn’t stay with one group of people for very long. Instead, he floated from group to group, sometimes barely even partaking in conversation.
“It’s almost pathetic the way that you are staring at Jeonghan. You’re looking at him like most of the girls desperate for him look at him.”
You fixed Yeonjun under an unamused gaze to which he just shrugged unapologetically.
“Just thought I would tell it as I see it. You’re obsessed with him.”
It was the first time that you had heard anyone flip the tables on you. You were so used to people telling you that Jeonghan was obsessed with you that this felt weird.
“You’re drunk,” you said pointedly.
“Drunk but not blind,” Yeonjun argued back. He leaned towards you, his finger flicking across your nose. As he did, he tipped his cup of alcohol, spilling a few drops on the ground. His eyes widened in despair and he ducked his head to try and catch the spilled drink.
You laughed at him, shaking your head and allowing your eyes to turn back to Jeonghan.
“You really like him,” Yeonjun pressed.
“I’m just trying to see something,” you argued back.
Yeonjun hummed and suddenly his head fell against your chest.
“Hasn’t everyone been telling you? He’s been turning down people left and right for the last few weeks,” Yeonjun said. “Rumors on the street is that he is into someone.”
You rolled your eyes, but honestly found his behavior amusing. You raised a hand to his head, patting him like he was a dog.
“You always drink so much?” You asked him. He looked up at you with a pout on his lips.
“I don’t drink anymore than the next person,” Yeonjun replied. You fixed him with a skeptical look. “Okay a little more than the next person.”
He paused.
“We should get more alcohol,” he stated. Then another thought occurred to him. “You should drink some.”
“I think that if you are so drunk you’re spilling your alcohol than you are too drunk for more.”
Yeonjun whined his protests, but you ignored them. You kept your hand placed on the drunk boys’ head, staring at Jeonghan. A girl had joined him a few moments before. Her hand raised to his arm but he shook it off, looking like he was annoyed by her advances.
“Why are you so obsessed over Jeonghan?” Yeonjun asked. He paused. “Wait. Right. The plan. You don’t think Jeonghan is obsessed with you.”
You grunted, watching as Jeonghan walked away from the girl he had just shook off of him.
“I don’t believe this,” you murmured. Yeonjun peered up at you, his eyes wide and pupils dilated.
“What? That Jeonghan hasn’t fucked with anyone else yet?” He questioned. His eyes wandered over to the man in question who was practically social distancing from the girl in front of him. A completely different girl from the one he just turned down. “Isn’t this irrefutable proof that he actually does like you?”
“He’s got to be…” You trailed off in frustration. “Maybe he’s just being overly picky. He can’t just not be sleeping with other people because of me.”
Yeonjun looked back up at you. There was a moment of silence.
“Well, why don’t you try to seduce him then?”
Listening to a boy as drunk off his ass as Yeonjun was at this point was stupid.
“Yeonjun the plan-”
“The plan is stupid,” Yeonjun blurted out. “You put on a disguise this good just to stare at him from afar? You need to get into the action. Figure out for yourself if he really will sleep with someone else. You know him, what makes him tick.”
He gestured in the direction that Jeonghan was in, stumbling a little bit.
“Go make him tick.”
“He’ll recognize me,” you protested. Yeonjun rolled his eyes and gestured to the people around you two.
“No one recognizes you,” he replied. “Get it together and go figure out if that man is really your man.”
You really did no better than to listen to someone drunk, but something about Jeonghan really did make you stupid.
And yet, you still ended up finding yourself leaving Yeonjun with a girl whose name he had known, making your way towards Jeonghan in the crowd.
Your mind was screaming at you, begging you to not be stupid. Begging you to stay away from him. But even as you thought that, your shoulder was bumping against Jeonghan’s.
Time to see if you were really as good at acting as you sometimes pretended you were.
An innocent smile flickered across your face.
“Oh I’m-” You sucked in a breath that you wished you could say was rehearsed but really you had just really forgotten how nice it was to be in Jeonghan’s presence again. “I’m so sorry.”
You stumbled a little from the inertia of your bump and Jeonghan caught you by the wrist. A confused expression was riddled across his face. His eyes flickered across your body, his gaze pausing at your neck and then flicking back to your eyes.
Your heart stopped. You were sure you had been caught.
“And who might you be?” Jeonghan asked softly, a smile curling across his lips.
Game and point.
Pride surged through your body at the fact you had been able to trick him. Even more excitement buzzed through your body when you saw that undeniable glint his eyes. Lust, interest. His fingers tightened their grasp on you, causing your body to burn with desire.
“Is it important?” You asked. “All that matters is who you are.” Your eyes glinted in excitement. “Yoon Jeonghan.”
Jeonghan’s head fell to the side ever-so-slightly.
“So, my reputation proceeds me as it always does,” he said. His eyebrows furrowed. “I can’t help but wonder what you’ve heard.”
“Just that you always bring people to the finish line,” you replied your voice light.
You worried that your current conversation was too reminiscent of your first one with Jeonghan, but your worry over being caught was clouded by the knot that was growing in your stomach. Why did you feel like this? Wasn’t this what you wanted? To be right?
“Do you want to come upstairs with me?”
Jeonghan’s invitation was tempting, despite your disguise. Mostly because it reminded you just how much you craved him. Being mad at him was exhausting but this also showed that you were right and Seungcheol was wrong. He was the same Jeonghan that he had been when you met him.
Picky. But still willing to sleep with any person he thought fit his standards. You had simply been a glitch in the system. A break in a chain that was now put back together. You were forever just going to be a notch in his belt.
But you couldn’t help it…
“Yeah.”
You were reconsidering everything as you traveled back up those stairs. Now they were so familiar to you. Each little scratch and notch reminding you of a different time that you had traveled up them.
So Jeonghan hadn’t recognized your face. Did that mean he wouldn’t recognize your body?
Surely not, right? How distinct could your body be from others?
You shouldn’t let it get that far. No, you needed to make an excuse- Any excuse to get back downstairs to the party.
Maybe that would knock down Jeonghan’s ego a little bit. If suddenly, a conquest turned him down.
Yeah, that felt like good revenge and totally made up for the lack of self control you had when it came to Jeonghan. You would really have to unpack at some point why you really didn’t care if you were just a notch in Jeonghan’s belt.
Jeonghan opened the door of his bedroom, gesturing you in. He was being a little bit more detached than he usually was when he was about to fuck you, but maybe that was just a difference between you and the other people he slept with.
It didn’t necessarily mean that he liked you more than them.
You opened your mouth to make some excuse to go back downstairs but before you could Jeonghan was slamming the door shut with his foot. Your eyes widened as he suddenly closed the distance between you two. You backed yourself up against the wall and he trapped you there between his arms, his face mere itches from you.
“Did you think I wouldn’t recognize you?”
His entire demeanor was different than it had been just a second ago. You could practically feel a hundred feelings radiating off of Jeonghan’s body. Lust, desperation, frustration.
“I-I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
Jeonghan’s hand shot up and ripped your wig off of your head. He held it in front of your face, his lips pressed in frustration.
“Do you think I’m stupid? That I wouldn’t recognize you just because you had a little bit of makeup on and a wig?”
“I-”
“I understand my reputation,” Jeonghan said. He threw the wig to the floor and pulled away from you. You took a large breath of relief for the space.
Generally, when it came to situations like this, where you were stuck around an angry man. You were, reasonably scared.
But this was Jeonghan. Yoon Jeonghan. He only hurt you when you wanted to be hurt. And he never hurt you over actual anger. You knew you were safe.
“I’m Yoon Jeonghan, and I fuck around. But… Fuck that shit, I only want to fuck you. I thought that we were past this. I thought you understood that.”
You were ripped from your thoughts at that, your eyes wide.
“That’s surprisingly intimate,” you joked. Jeonghan looked at you.
“Y/n, I’m sorry I lied to you about sleeping with other people,” Jeonghan said. He walked back over to you, placing his hands on your shoulders so that you had to look at him. “I didn’t sleep with anyone. Not since we established you couldn’t sleep with other people. I haven’t wanted to sleep with anyone else.”
Again, the scariest thing about Jeonghan was just how serious he was acting. You laughed.
“You sound like you’re about to confess your love to me,” you joked.
Jeonghan’s eyes didn’t leave yours, but they saddened a little bit. His lips pursed together into a thin line. The smile dropped from your face.
“Jeonghan-”
He looked away from you, his hands leaving his shoulders.
“Yes, at first it was just sex. I mean, really. What are the odds that we would find each other?” He asked. “How many people like to get spit on and have their face smacked? You like it when I rough you up. That’s crazy.”
You just stared at him, unsure of what to say. He didn’t look like he wanted you to say anything yet anyways.
“Yes, I’m jealous of the people that you get to spend time with,” Jeonghan said. “Stupid, fucking Seungcheol… I’m not jealous of Yeongtae because I’m scared that you are going to fuck him. I’m jealous because you two have an emotional attachment that we don’t have, and I was scared we would never have it.”
“Why would you want an emotional relationship with a fuck buddy?”
There was silence from Jeonghan, and he turned around to look at you. He had a sad look on his face.
“Y/n, Jeongyeon told me once… In passing, that you weren’t looking for a real relationship.” The air in the room was suddenly so heavy you felt like you needed to sit down. “Why not?”
Your heart skipped a beat, the implications seeming unreal.
“I just...” You tried to figure out the right words to say. Tried to figure out what you were thinking. “I haven’t needed that in my life. No one has proved to me that we would really work out.”
Jeonghan stared at you, and you stared back at him. There was something in his eyes. You were scared that Jeonghan was going to say something that you didn’t think you wanted to hear right now. You needed a distraction.
“Jeonghan.”
“Yeah?”
“I really… I really need you.”
“Fuck,” Jeonghan said, turning his body slightly away from you. “I’m trying to apologize to you, y/n.”
“Apology accepted,” you agreed. You lowered your hands to the hem of your shirt, dragging it off your body. Jeonghan groaned, covering his hand with his face.
“Y/n, I am not that strong. This is the longest I’ve gone without sex since high school,” he said. “Just let me…”
You walked over to him, unbuckling your bra as you walked. You let it drop to ground, knowing that he heard the sound. You grabbed Jeonghan by the collar of his sweater.
“Come on, Jeonghan. I know you need it just as bad as I do. You want me… I want you… The door is closed…”
You took Jeonghan’s hands, pressing them to your bare sides. His fingers obediently wrapped around your body. You dragged his hands up your body by his wrists.
“Come on,” you whined. “Didn’t you miss me? Don’t you want to use me?”
A groan left his mouth.
“You’re not being very good y/n.”
Jeonghan looked reasonably torn. You could tell he was trying to be mature and take this the right way and that scared you even more. Coming to this party you had expected to see Jeonghan flirting with other people, but here he was doing everything that he could to actually amend things with you and you couldn’t wrap your head around why.
“And what are you going to do about it?”
“Fuck it. But we’re talking after this.”
Jeonghan’s hand tightened around your body, and his other hand came to your hair. Braided to keep it hidden beneath your wig. A growl left Jeonghan’s mouth.
“Never braid your hair before seeing me. Ever again.”
He placed his hands square on your shoulders and pushed you back onto his bed.
“Unbraid your hair right now.”
You scrambled to pull the rubber bands out of your hair, your fingers running through the strands of your hair as you struggled to get them out of your braids. Jeonghan meanwhile was watching you, a dark look in his eyes as he practically ripped his shirt off of himself.
“If I don’t have something to pull-”
Just as you got the last bit of your hair untangled from the braid, Jeonghan was climbing on the bed, fingers hooked in your pants as he pulled them off your body. You didn’t have to be told what to do from there and immediately shimmied out of your panties, tossing them to the side and propping yourself up on your elbows, simply anticipating what Jeonghan was going to do next.
You couldn’t help how your body was buzzing just at being in this position again. Being in Jeonghan’s room, being naked in front of him. Normally, you would feel embarrassed, but you really seemed to have no shame when it came to Jeonghan.
“Fuck, look at you,” Jeonghan mumbled, his hands lowering down to his pants. His fingers hooked on his belt and he began to unbuckle it and you had to literally wipe drool from your lips. Fuck. “You are so fucking gorgeous.”
He tossed his belt to the side with a soft clang.
“And even though you are being so bad in distracting me with sex,” he said, unbuttoning his pants with a single flick of his thumb. “You are literally on bed waiting for me to do whatever the hell I want to you, aren’t you?”
You nodded, and you were burning so badly that your core hurt. You needed to be touched by Jeonghan. You couldn’t just lay there under his gaze and watch him get undressed. God, you needed to do something. Anything.
“I know how badly you want to touch yourself,” Jeonghan cooed, dropping his pants to ground. You swallowed hard, trying to keep your eyes on Jeonghan. “But I also know just how badly you need to be good for me. Isn’t that, right?”
Your face was blazing and you could feel your pussy beginning to drip wetness despite the fact that Jeonghan hadn’t even touched you yet.
“Go on y/n. I wouldn’t blame you if you had to play with your cunt while you waited for me to finally touch you,” he said. Your eyes widened slightly but he shot you down quickly. “No that’s not permission. You will get punished if you touch yourself. But I know that you really need to touch yourself. I’m just saying I won’t blame you for succumbing to your own desires.”
A smile flickered across his face.
“What will it be huh? Are you going to relieve yourself? Ease that feeling of desperation that’s just building up in your body?”
Jeonghan laughed at you and dropped his boxers down to the ground. You didn’t speak to him. Too afraid of what you were going to say. You were excited now, thinking that since his clothes were off you wouldn’t have to choose between being good or bad.
You were wrong.
As soon as Jeonghan had stepped out of his boxers he walked up to the edge of the bed, but instead of joining you on it, instead of throwing foreplay out the window and taking you right there, he stopped where his knees brushed the comforter.
He wrapped his fingers around his rock hard cock, groaning at his own touch.
“I love that you let me do anything to you,” he said. “What would you do if I told you that I wasn’t going to touch you at all? What if I told you that I was just going to look at you and get myself off and cum all over you and then just leave you? Make you sit there covered in my semen until I decided that I should touch you.”
He thought over that for a second.
“If I even decided to touch you.”
“Jeonghan-” You blurted, your eyes wide as panic seized your body. “You wouldn’t do that.”
Jeonghan gave his cock a pump.
“Are you sure about that?”
There was something sadistic in his eyes, and it made you second guess everything you knew about him.
“You wouldn’t even-” Your voice cracked. “You wouldn’t even touch me?”
You swallowed hard, unable to help yourself from spreading your legs out a little further.
“Didn’t you miss me at all?”
“I missed you so fucking much, y/n,” And as he spoke his voice grew deeper, shaky even. “That’s why I can’t touch you. I need you to need me as much as I need you.”
You felt yourself whimper at his words.
“I do. I do need you Jeonghan, d-don’t do this to me,” you blurted out desperately. Jeonghan mostly ignored you, his eyes threatening to flutter shut from the pleasure of even just slowly pumping his cock. You thought that him touching himself made it that much more cruel.
“I don’t know why you are complaining,” he commented. “All you have to do is misbehave. Are you really that scared of misbehaving in front of me?”
You nodded, squirming in place.
“Yes. Jeonghan, please,” you begged. “I don’t want to be bad, I want to be good, I want to be of good use to you.”
“You’re good use to me right now,” Jeonghan replied, the corners of his lips quirking up. “You’re so pretty to look at and so good at begging for me.”
A loud whine escaped your lips.
“Jeonghan,” your voice was tiny now, your fingers balled in Jeonghan’s comforter as you fought the urge to do what Jeonghan wanted you to do. You honestly thought that this was crueler than any kind of punishment he could and had ever given you. You couldn’t help the fact that tears were beginning to sprout out of the corners of your eyes.
You scrambled to your hands and knees, crawling to the edge of the bed. Jeonghan narrowed his eyes at you, but you stopped before you really hit bad territory.
“Jeonghan please, I’m not this strong,” you pleaded. You let your eyes grow wider, and tilted your head to the side, puffing out your chest. Jeonghan’s eyes darkened.
“Yeah?” He asked. You nodded, scooting forward more on your knees.
“I need you Jeonghan,” you agreed.
Jeonghan’s eyes fluttered shut and you thought for a second that you were screwed and not in the way that you wanted to be but just as your gaze dropped to the ground, you felt a hand gripping tightly in your hair.
Your head was jerked up and you came face to face with Jeonghan, his nose millimeters from yours. He smiled at you, his tongue briefly flicking across his teeth.
“You promise?” He asked you. Your eyes briefly furrowed and your gaze darted down to his lips. A beat passed and then suddenly you remembered that he had spoken to you. You tried to nod, but found you couldn’t move. You swallowed thickly.
“I promise,” you breathed. Jeonghan snorted.
“Liar.”
You opened your mouth to argue with Jeonghan but you suddenly got pushed back into the bed. Just as your head fell into the comforter Jeonghan was grabbing you by your thighs, pulling you to the edge of the bed. You propped yourself up on your elbows again, but just as you did that Jeonghan was pushing two of his fingers deep into you.
You felt your elbows collapse as soon as he curled his fingers inside of you. A loud desperate moan left your lips.
“You don’t need me,” Jeonghan admonished. He pulled his fingers from you, humming as he slipped his fingers into his mouth. “No, you just think you need me because you do whatever that pretty cunt tells you to.”
His hand came down on your clit, causing your body to jolt and your head to press harder into the bed.
“And your pretty little cunt will get wet for any man who promises to put his dick in you.”
You felt the tips of Jeonghan’s fingers brush your skin, and he slowly dragged his fingertips down your body.
“J-Jeonghan please,” you managed to get out as Jeonghan teasingly ran his fingers down your body. “Th-That’s not true. I-”
Jeonghan’s fingertips slid between your folds, and when he raised them up in front of you they were literally dripping. His head fell to the side.
“That’s not true? Because I’ve barely touched you and you’re soaked,” he pointed out. “You’re either a slut, or you need me so badly you just can’t help yourself, and we know that can’t be true.”
He didn’t leave room for that aspect of the conversation to continue because then he was pushing his wet fingers into your mouth. You desperately sucked at them, hoping maybe Jeonghan would be tempted to do more to you, but he pulled his fingers disappointingly fast from your lips.
His hands returned to your sides, dragging up to your breasts. He cupped your breasts in his hands, giving them a small squeeze. You arched your back into Jeonghan’s touch.
“Jeonghan, please,” you whimpered.
“What?” He asked innocently. “This isn’t good enough for you?”
Frustration bubbled in your chest at Jeonghan’s words.
“You know it isn’t,” you replied, unable to keep the bite off your tongue. Jeonghan hummed and pushed two fingers back into you without warning.
“What about this?” He asked. “Is this enough?”
You opened your mouth to respond- To tell him that no it wasn’t enough- but before you could Jeonghan was sharply pushing his fingers back into you forcing you to raise a hand to your mouth, biting down on it to keep more noise from leaving your lips.
“You know, I almost didn’t recognize you,” Jeonghan mumbled as he pressed his fingers deep inside of you. “You being there in that makeup, with that wig, in those clothes with Yeonjun? None of it made sense. Not after what happened.”
He shook his head.
“But I saw through it. Even though it didn’t make sense I knew it was you, I just got really thrown off by one thing.”
His free hand raised to your neck, his fingers splaying across it. You knew immediately what he was talking about.
“I’m sorry,” you blurted out. Your frustration gone now that Jeonghan was fucking you with his fingers “I don’t know why I got rid of-”
Before you could finish talking Jeonghan was pressing his hand to your mouth. He raised an eyebrow towards you in warning.
“I don’t care why you did it,” Jeonghan replied. You pressed your lips together and Jeonghan pulled his hand away from your face. “The question is can I replace them?”
You felt another wave of heat run through your body.
“Y-Yes,” you managed to get out. Jeonghan smiled.
“Are you sure?” He asked, his voice dropping a few octaves. “Because if I leave more marks on you I expect you to leave them this time.”
You nodded, craning your neck.
“Yes, I’ll leave them, I promise,” he bit out. “I fucking missed them, I regretted getting rid of them so much.”
It was true. Ever since you had successfully gotten rid of the marks, you had hated looking at yourself in the mirror. You missed the marks on your neck even if you had been upset about the whole Jeonghan situation.
Jeonghan didn’t argue with you over it. He leaned forward, the tips of his fingers pinching at your nipples as his lips attached to your neck. At first he just peppered soft little kisses to your neck as his hands kneaded your breasts. The further he leaned down however, the closer his hard cock got to you. You felt the tip of his cock brush your swollen clit and you bucked your lips up, chasing the friction.
“Y/n, I’ve never seen you so desperate,” Jeonghan said teasingly, his hot breath making your head press back against the bed harder. “You’re acting like you haven’t been touched in days.”
“I haven’t,” you breathed. Jeonghan’s teeth bit down on your neck, and then his warm tongue flicked across the spot, as if to soothe your neck after the bite. “I-I- haven’t even touched myself since I got with you.”
Jeonghan’s body shifted further and once again Jeonghan’s tip pressed against your clit. You wiggled your hips so that Jeonghan’s tip slipped between your folds. Both you and Jeonghan let out matching groans.
“Even when you’re mad at me you’re still mine, huh?” Jeonghan said his voice low. “You still need my cock to get yourself off. Can’t come without my permission to.”
You nodded your agreement but as you moved Jeonghan was biting down on your neck again.
“Beg me to fuck you,” Jeonghan breathed against you.
“Jeonghan,” you pleaded. “I really do n-need you. Your cock is the only one that I can be satisfied with. I just, fucking, need you. So badly I need you.”
“It’s s-so hard to resist you,” Jeonghan mumbled and you literally heard his voice crack. You knew normally you would get in trouble for grabbing Jeonghan but you couldn’t help it. You raised your hands to Jeonghan’s forearms, wrapping your fingers tightly around them. You could feel how tight his muscles were, presumably from the strain of not pushing his cock into you.
“Then don’t,” you breathed. Jeonghan laughed humorlessly, picking up at you from your neck.
“I’ve got to take my time with it today, baby,” he said softly and your whole body shivered at the word. He pulled away from you, ignoring the way your hands tightened around his arms as he did. “I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. I never know when you are going to come around for me to fuck. I have to make the most of it.”
Jeonghan’s pulled back his cock, slipping from your folds and dragging a string of wetness from it. You felt tears prick at the corners of your eyes all over again. The frustration of not being fucked really building up in you.
He began to slide down your body, his mouth trailing kisses to your skin. Your toes curled as his lips trailed over your breasts, his teeth briefly nipping at you before continuing down your body.
“Jeonghan,” you cried out. You tried to move but Jeonghan pressed a hand to your pelvis, pinning you to the bed.
“You’re making it so much harder, to stop from fucking you,” Jeonghan groaned. His mouth came to a stop just above your clit and he started to press wet kisses to your thighs. So close to your pussy that his tongue was darting out to capture some of the wetness that had soaked your thighs. “I want to take you so fucking badly. Give you exactly what you are begging for.”
The tears slid down your cheeks.
“Pl-please.”
He finally wrapped his lips around your clit, sucking on it harder. You still tried your best to move under him, but it was pointless. You reached forward, your fingers burying in Jeonghan’s hair. As good as it felt to have him sucking on your clit, you were still desperate for any thing to be in your pussy. You fucking missed his fingers. You needed his cock.
Jeonghan’s mouth lowered and his tongue ran teasingly between your folds. You let out a wrecked sob, mixed in with a desperate moan and Jeonghan cooed lightly, his breath teasing your clit.
“Poor baby, you’re so desperate for me aren’t you?” He asked. You nodded.
“I’ve been so good Jeonghan,” you begged softly, your breath coming in hics. Jeonghan’s tongue dipped into your pussy and your fingers tightened in Jeonghan’s hair. Not pulling to get him to pull off of you. Just pulling because you couldn’t do anything else.
“You taste so good,” Jeonghan commented. “I could stay down here all day.”
Another cry left your lips and Jeonghan pulled his mouth off of you, sticking two of his fingers into your pussy. His head fell to this side.
“Look at me, y/n,” he said. You looked up at him, your eyes blurry from tears. He clicked his tongue. “Oh look at you. Do you really need cock that badly?”
You nodded and another hic left your lips. Jeonghan cooed at you and raised his body, pulling his fingers from you. He sucked his fingers into his mouth, and then, once they were clean, cupped your face in his hands.
“Don’t cry baby, I’ve got you.”
He slid his dick into you, making a relieved moan leave your lips. Your eyes fluttered shut as Jeonghan pushed himself fully into your pussy. You mewled loudly.
“Fuck, I can’t stand to be apart from you,” Jeonghan groaned. His hands lowered to the sides of your head and he pulled out before pushing hard back into you, your whole body shaking. You raised your hands to wrap around Jeonghan’s body.
“Th-Thank you, Jeonghan,” you breathed out. “But, pl-please, h-harder.”
“Harder?” Jeonghan’s voice was light, muddled with pleasure. “I’m trying to take my time. Really trying to savour this.”
“I know you want to use me,” you pleaded. “Like a slut right? Like your perfect little slut.”
Your fingers dug into Jeonghan’s back.
“I can take it, I can always take it. Stop holding back.”
Jeonghan’s hips stuttered and after recovering, his hips snapped, forcing his cock hard into you.
“Baby, I don’t think you can take it,” he said. “Look at you? Your mascara running, your face red. You can barely take my teasing. You think that you can take it if I fuck you the way I usually do?”
You nodded desperately.
“I can, I really can,” you insisted. “Please, I need it hard. I need to feel you take me. Own me.”
“Fuck,” Jeonghan groaned. “You little-”
He reached forward, his fingers capturing your chin between them.
“You don’t know what you are asking for,” he warned. You forced yourself to look at Jeonghan, your eyes wide.
“Jeonghan, I need you.”
Jeonghan lowered his hands to your neck, his fingers wrapping around them. His eyebrows raised as he stilled himself inside of you.
“What’s your safe word?”
You blurted it out, making Jeonghan laugh at your desperation.
“Good, fucking, girl.”
His fingers tightened around your neck and he began to fuck you fast, deep, and hard. It was a pace that you were familiar with but somehow it rocked your core even harder than it normally did. You felt it growning a little harder to breath as Jeonghan’s fingers tightened around your neck and a whine at the light-headed sensation was ripped from your body.
His fingers loosened at the whine, allowing you to gasp for a breath of air, but as soon as you did Jeonghan was tightening his grip on you all over again. You felt yourself clamp hard around Jeonghan’s dick as a wave of pleasure shot through your body. Your fingers clutched at Jeonghan’s back but just as they did Jeonghan raised his hand to your face, hitting you across it lightly.
“I’ve been letting you misbehave all day,” Jeonghan growled. “But if you want me to own you, you’re going to have to be good.”
His thumb swiped across your face.
“No touching.”
Your hands dropped to the bed, raising above your head. You arched your back, hoping for Jeonghan’s hands to return to your throat but he was much too focused now. You loved it when he became borderline animalistic. His hips were snapping into you, his lips curving up with every desperate cry of his name.
“You gonna tell me exactly how much you missed me?” Jeonghan asked. “Tell me about how I plagued your thoughts every day. How you can’t do anything but think about me and need me?”
You tried to find the words to talk back to Jeonghan, but you couldn’t find your voice no matter how hard you tried. Your silence earned you another slap which went right down to your core.
“God, you’re so pathetic,” he cooed. “So fucked out you can’t even find the words to respond to me. You always get like this eventually don’t you?”
“Only with you,” you managed to get out. Jeonghan lowered a hand to your clit and he began to messily rub it in circles.
“I know baby,” he said softly. “And you’re going to come just for me aren’t you? After all the teasing and the touching, you were able to hold back until just now. What do you think that makes you?”
“Good,” you blurted back. “I’ve been so good.”
Jeonghan’s lips flickered into a smile that you could just barely make out.
“You have been,” Jeonghan agreed. “So, fucking good for me.”
He shook his head.
“Even though you’re loud.” He gave you a particularly hard thrust. “Messy.” Another thrust. “Fucking shameless.”
He reached forward, pressing his forehead to yours.
“You are so fucking good. I fucking love-” His voice faltered before he quickly added: “Fucking you.”
Without warning you felt Jeonghan begin to unload himself into you, you screamed out in pleasure but Jeonghan cut you off by pressing his lips to yours.
“Come on baby, you have my permission,” Jeonghan mumbled against your lips. “Come for me, okay?”
You didn’t have to be prompted further. You didn’t care about being good. You raised your hands to Jeonghan’s neck, pressing him down further on you. Instead of screaming you focused on kissing Jeonghan, you whole body shaking as you came around his cock. As you were coming down from your orgasm, you felt Jeonghan pushing his cum deeper into your pussy.
Unfortunately for you, Jeonghan’s thrusts stopped, as soon as your grip on his neck loosened.
Jeonghan slipped his cock out of you, and a small whine left your lips. You covered your face with your hands finding both comfort and disappointment in the feeling of Jeonghan’s cum beginning to leak out of your pussy. Instead of immediately getting up to start a shower however Jeonghan wrapped his arms around your body, pulling your back flush to his chest and then proceeded to bury his face in your neck.
You let him hold you for a few minutes, focusing on his breath on your neck and the beating of his heart that you could feel against your back before finally speaking.
“Are you not going to start a shower?”
Jeonghan let out a humorless chuckle.
“I never thought there would be a day where you wanted a shower immediately after,” Jeonghan commented.
“It’s just uncharacteristic of you not to try,” you replied softly. Jeonghan was silent for a few seconds.
“It’s just I have to leave you to go start the shower,” Jeonghan said. You frowned at his words.
“And…?”
“And what if when I get back, you’re gone?”
Even as he spoke his arms were tightening their grip on you.
“Jeonghan I’m not going to leave,” you said softly. Jeonghan didn’t seem convinced. “Jeonghan-”
Jeonghan sighed.
“You’re right. I’m being selfish,” he said with a sigh.
He stayed still for a few more seconds, making you think for a moment that he hadn’t meant his words, but then he was pulling away from you.
Your first thought was that you shouldn’t have complained about him holding you. Now it was cold. And before when he was just holding you there was no need to address the situation you two were in at all.
“I’ll be right back,” he said softly. “Don’t go anywhere.”
He walked to the door and paused, looking at you before he left the room.
As soon as Jeonghan was gone you sat up in his bed, using your elbows to prop yourself up.
Just leaving while Jeonghan was gone hadn’t really been something on your mind until Jeonghan mentioned it, but thinking about it know you didn’t think it was a bad idea. After all, you still had a lot to think about.
Had Jeonghan really been unwilling to sleep with anyone who wasn’t you? Or had he known you were there to watch the whole time?
You swung your legs over the side of Jeonghan’s bed, and shakily got to your feet. You looked around the room trying to find your clothes but then you remembered your shopping trip with Jeonghan. You wandered around Jeonghan’s room, trying to see if maybe he had just thrown the bag somewhere.
You were about to give up hope when the brief thought to look in his closet. You pulled open the door, a small frown flickering across your face. At first the closet looked the same as it usually did, but then you noticed something odd about the clothes hanging to the right.
They were the ones that he had bought for you. Your frown deepened as you moved the hangers trying to see if you were right and you were. He had taken the time to hang up every piece of clothing he had bought for you.
Why would he hang up the clothes? Take up space in his own personal closet, just for some person he was sleeping with.
Your thoughts briefly flickered back to what Jeonghan had been trying to tell you before you had distracted him with sex but before you could think about it too much, Jeonghan’s door was creaking open again.
You saw him peak at the bed, a disappointed look crossing his face before you cleared your throat. His eyes flickered to yours and his head fell to the side. Without a word he walked over to the closet and grabbed one of his own shirts. He looked at you.
“Hands up,” he said softly. You did as you were told and Jeonghan slid his shirt onto you. He gave you a small smile and then quirked his head.
“Come on.”
Jeonghan led you to the bathroom, even though it really wasn’t necessary. You thought maybe it was because he genuinely was worried that you would leave. The shower was already running, and you expected Jeonghan to leave once you were inside, but instead he closed the door behind you two. You gave him a questioning look, but he just shrugged, raising a hand to his neck and glancing away from you.
“I thought maybe you would like some help.”
“Jeonghan, I don’t need help to take a shower,” you said. Jeonghan closed the distance between you two, his fingers coming to the hem of his shirt. His fingers briefly brushed your skin before he lifted the shirt back over your head. Once he had dropped the shirt on the floor he raised his hands to your hair, briefly brushing his fingers through it.
“I’ve always wanted to brush your hair,” he said softly. Your face burned hot under the attention. You rolled your eyes and cleared your throat.
“You’re really not going to take no for an answer,” you said with a sigh. Jeonghan’s eyes widened softly, and he pulled his hand away from you.
“I’m sorry,” he murmured. You pressed your lips together.
“Don’t be,” you mumbled. “I know my safe word.”
You stepped away from Jeonghan to step into the shower. You didn’t know how Jeonghan did it, but he always managed to have the shower at the right temperature.
“You can join me,” you said.
Jeonghan smiled.
“Well only if, you’re sure.”
He waited for your nod and vocal confirmation:
“I’m sure.”
Jeonghan climbed into the shower with you, but his focus was surprisingly on getting you clean. He had grabbed a clean washcloth from under the sink before getting in and he immediately put some soap on it to start running over you. You narrowed your gaze at the fruit scented soap you had never noticed before.
“One of your sluts leave that?” You asked. Jeonghan’s hand stilled from where it was rubbing soap suds onto your body. He looked up at you, raising an eyebrow.
“Well, it’s not Chaedom’s.”
You frowned at him, making him sigh.
“I bought it for you,” he said with a roll of his eyes. “As much as I liked you smelling like my body wash, you also smelled like every other boy in Alpha Mu.”
He focused back on cleaning you off, not elaborating on why he saw that as a problem. Not that you really needed him to elaborate. In all of your relationships, you had never taken a shower with anyone. Building on that, you had never had anyone touch you so gently.
Jeonghan was so focused too. Even though his hands were all over you it was clear he wasn’t trying to turn you on at all. Even though, him being so gentle was turning you on.
Jeonghan crouched down, rubbing your ankles with soap. You watched him for a second and then crouched down as well. Jeonghan looked up at you in surprise, his wet strands of hair falling in his face. You smiled at him and brushed the strands out of his face.
“You’re so weird Jeonghan,” you said softly. His eyes widened at your words. “Why are you being so gentle?”
“It’s after care,” Jeonghan responded as if it was obvious. You gave him a half-annoyed look.
“Even washing me is more after care than you normally give me.”
“Before I was scared of my feelings,” Jeonghan said. He thought about that for a second. “And yours.”
He cleared his throat and looked away from you.
“Besides, this might be the last time I see you. I want to make the most of it.”
Your heart hurt a little to hear Jeonghan say that, but you tried to push down the feeling.
“You worried about not having a pussy to creampie?” You asked, trying to keep the mood light. You laughed. “You gonna miss having someone who loves to be degraded by you so much?”
“I do love how you always do what I say,” Jeonghan replied, a smile flickering across his lips. “But you’re also the same girl who knows what she wants. Turned down Chan and threw a drink in Yeongtae’s face. All for me.”
You rolled your eyes.
“I turned down Chan to turn down Chan, not for you.”
“But you did turn down Yeongtae for me.”
You turned your eyes away from him, making Jeonghan sigh. He raised his hands to your face, turning you towards him. He stared at you for a few moments, his eyes flickering down to your lips before he reached over, putting some face wash in his hands. You groaned as Jeonghan start to lather the soap into your face. You let yourself fall back onto the floor of the shower, light-heartedly swatting away Jeonghan’s hands.
“Why’re you being so thorough?” You whined. Jeonghan just smiled, waiting for you to stop talking so that he could dip your head back under the flow of the water. He rubbed his fingers a little over your face until he was satisfied that all the soap was off of your face. He pulled your head back and grabbed a brush.
You groaned, but he ignored you starting to work the brush through your hair.
“Jeonghan you don’t need to be so thorough,” you insisted. Jeonghan just scoffed.
“Maybe I should have been helping you all this time. It seems that you were cutting corners,” Jeonghan mumbled.
“You know what’s nicer than a shower?” You asked Jeonghan. “Your bed. You have such a nice bed.”
Jeonghan rolled his eyes.
“You’re aging me,” he commented. He reached around to grab what you assumed was shampoo, He set the brush down and began to massage it into your scalp. You figured arguing with Jeonghan further was pointless, so you finally fell silent, resting your head on your hand while he cleaned your hair.
You watched Jeonghan’s eyes as he worked the soap into your hair, making sure to coat your whole scalp and get it even in the ends of your hair. His lips were quirked slightly up as he watched his own hands work through your hair. He was giving off such a strange aura.
“Y/n, you’re so beautiful,” Jeonghan mumbled. “More beautiful than anyone I’ve ever slept with.”
You didn’t want to humor him, so you didn’t respond to Jeonghan’s words. He didn’t mind.
“Do you remember the first time we met?” Jeonghan asked. You frowned slightly.
“Yeah, at the-”
“Not the party,” Jeonghan said with a shake of his head. “Freshmen orientation. I slept with your roommate.”
Your eyebrows furrowed, and you tried to catch Jeonghan’s eyes. It was pointless, he was too focused on your hair.
“We didn’t meet freshman orientation,” you denied. As you spoke, Jeonghan tilted your head back under the stream of water.
“Well, not entirely. I met your roommate immediately. The first few hours of freshman orientation and as soon as we got there, we skipped the first meeting to fuck in your dorm. You came in just after we had finished. You didn’t bat an eye. You were so nonchalant. You turned your back while your roommate got dressed and you two practically got to know each other while I just sat there and watched.”
Jeonghan laughed.
“And then you two just left me. You didn’t say a word to me.”
Jeonghan pulled your head forward again and then started to put conditioner in your hair.
“You never gave me the attention I wanted from you. Not then, and it drove me crazy. That whole weekend I was trying to get your attention without getting your attention.”
Jeonghan shrugged.
“Nothing. And then freshman orientation ended, and I thought I would never see you again.”
His fingers got caught in a knot in your hair and his eyebrows furrowed. He focused in on it.
“But we’ve had a few lectures together here and there. You make friends so easily. I just watched from afar.”
Jeonghan pushed your head back again under the stream of the water.
“Only at parties when you were forced to them by Jeongyeon. Never drinking when you did go. Nothing ever seems to phase you.”
Finally, Jeonghan’s eyes flickered to yours. You pressed your lips together, just taking in what Jeonghan had to say. You weren’t really sure what to think of all of this, but you forced yourself to stay in the moment. Just focus.
“When I say that I crave you, I mean it in a way you will never fully understand. I have wanted you since day one, but I have waited for you, and I never thought that I would have the chance to be with you.”
Jeonghan’s hands left your hair to cup your face with his hands. His eyes flickered to his thumbs that brushed over your cheek bones to your lips, your nose, and then back up to your eyes.
“And then I found you in my room and you were more amazing than I had ever imagined you would be.”
A sad look flickered over his face.
“I’m sorry I lied.”
“It’s okay,” you said softly. Jeonghan’s hands fell from your face, and he looked away from you.
“It’s not okay,” he replied. He cleared his throat and stood up. He leaned out of the shower and grabbed a towel, holding it out for you to walk into. You got back to your feet and did what you knew he wanted you to. He wrapped the towel around your body, and you turned around to look at him still standing in the shower. He pressed his lips together into a thin smile.
“I’m going to wash myself off. If you’re in my room when I get back, we’ll talk just a little bit more before we sleep okay?”
You opened your mouth, wanting to say something but no words left your lips. You didn’t know what today. You just nodded and did as he said.
Once you were in Jeonghan’s room your mind was racing and you were faced with your least favorite conflict of the mind. The choice between fight or flight.
You could leave now. Jeonghan was giving you the chance to leave, having already said what you assumed were the things he believed were most important to get out. If you left now you had a lot to think about.
Well, you had a lot to think about either way.
If you stayed, you could really talk through your feelings with Jeonghan. If you trusted him, you could really get some answers that you needed.
You thought for a while, drying your hair as you thought about what clothes to put on. You liked that Jeonghan had bought you all these clothes to wear while you were over but… Nothing hit quite like wearing one of his freshly washed shirts.
You put aside the thought and put on the pajamas he had gotten for you.
As you wrapped your hair in the towel that you had been left with you thought over the most important question in your mind.
Did you trust Jeonghan?
Could you trust Jeonghan?
It was a bit ironic that you weren’t really sure if you could considering you had done nothing but trust Jeonghan up until this moment. You trusted him not to hurt you. You trusted him to not tell others too much about what you two did. You even trusted that he wasn’t lying to you about the people that he was sleeping with.
Maybe that’s why it was a bit hard to trust him now.
You looked to where you had dropped your phone on Jeonghan’s floor when you first got in the room and you picked it up. There was a good way to test the validity of what Jeonghan had said.
You searched your contacts for the name of your freshman orientation roommate and let out a breath of relief when you found you still had it.
The phone rang only twice before Geumseong answered the phone.
“Hello? Y/n? Is everything alright?”
You pressed your lips together.
“Hi, yeah, no I’m fine I just… I had a weird question,” you replied. You gave it a seconds pause and then said: “Do you remember sleeping with anyone at freshman orientation?”
“Oh god, of course I do,” Geumseong replied. “That was the best sex that I’ve ever had in my life.”
“Do you remember…?”
“Yoon Jeonghan,” Geumseong said without much of a thought at all. “Fucking shame, he doesn’t sleep with anyone twice.”
You felt your heart pounding in your throat.
“Are you sure?” You asked, your voice kind of airy. Geumseong hummed a confirmation.
“How could I forget?” She asked. You sat there trying to figure out what exactly you were going to say back, but just then the door to Jeonghan’s room opened and Jeonghan appeared. To his credit, he look surprised.
“Okay, well, that was all I needed to ask. Thanks,” you said into your phone. “We should get together sometime.”
“We should!” Geumseong agreed. “I’ll call you later this week.”
The line between you and Geumseong disconnected and you dropped your phone to your lap. Jeonghan raised an eyebrow at you.
“So, you want to talk?”
“Let’s say I believe that you’ve liked me since freshmen year.” You did. Geumseong was practically undeniable proof. "Why did you never approach me?"
"Y/n, you’re too good for me.”
You blinked.
“Huh?”
Jeonghan turned away from you to get changed into pajama pants.
“I’ve never settled for anyone in my life,” Jeonghan replied. He turned around when he was dressed. “I just knew I was going to end up breaking your heart.”
Your eyebrows furrowed even further.
“So then why did you…?”
“Ever fuck with you?” Jeonghan finished. He closed the distance between you two and for a second you thought he was going to kiss you. Instead, he brushed past you, sitting on his side of the bed. “I’m selfish. You were right in front of me, and you wanted me. I honestly thought that maybe fucking with you would get you out of my system.”
Jeonghan laughed.
“I’m stupid,” he concluded. “You just became that much more irresistible to me.” He seemed to think for a few moments. “Did you ever wonder why I decided to retire to my room that night at the party?”
You thought about it for a moment.
“No,” you replied, but now that he brought it up, it was a bit odd.
“I was so angry that Jun introduced you to Chan. Would he have been good to you? Undoubtedly. But I wanted you. I couldn’t stop thinking about you two and looking over at you talking. Then you disappeared and I thought you were in Chan’s room…”
Jeonghan didn’t have to go on.
“Okay, so then why lie to me about being with other girls?” You pressed. Jeonghan sighed.
“I don’t know what it is about you, but you drive me crazy. I think about you all the time. Seeing you with other men when I want you is absolutely infuriating but you?” Jeonghan laughed airily. “It drove me crazy that you kept saying you didn’t care if I slept with other people. I needed you to be obsessed with me the way I was obsessed with you. So I lied.”
You glanced over at Jeonghan to find that this whole time he had been talking he had been staring at you. When your eyes met he looked away from you.
“And I kept lying because I thought that maybe the longer it went on, the further it got, then you would start to feel the same way I do,” Jeonghan stated. “But I think that I just ended up emotionally detaching you more.”
You didn’t respond because again you were at a loss for words. You didn’t think anyone had ever liked you as much as Jeonghan was making it seem like he did. Building off of that you had never thought anyone would ever like you as much as Jeonghan was claiming to.
And yet, here you were.
Jeonghan seemed to sense your internal struggle.
“You should sleep,” Jeonghan said softly. “Do you want me to sleep on the floor?”
It seemed Jeonghan just couldn’t stop surprising you.
“What? No. It’s your room, your bed-”
Jeonghan raised his hands in the air.
“Just want to give you space if you want it. Go to sleep then, okay?”
You didn’t think that you could fall asleep after this conversation with Jeonghan, but regardless you nodded.
“Right.” You laid down in his bed, taking note of the fact that he was pressed as far on his side of the bed as he could get. “Good night.”
“Good night,” he echoed.
But you couldn’t sleep. Minutes turned into hours and Jeonghan’s breath evened to the point where you knew that he was asleep. You propped yourself up on your elbows and looked over at his sleeping body. You thought carefully over his confession, running his words on repeat through your head.
Fuck, why was this so confusing?
He was in love with you. Well, he hadn’t said it in those exact words but you could feel it anyways. Looking back he had been fairly obvious about it. Every time he was with you, every time he held you, every time he kissed you he did it all as if it would be the last time he ever got to.
You knew how you should feel in this situation. You should feel relieved, and excited but your brain just refused to accept what Jeonghan was telling you as the truth.
It wasn’t because he had lied to you about sleeping with other people, even though you had made a big deal about it. You made a big deal about it because it didn’t make sense. Now you knew why he did it. Now it made sense. Even if it felt unreal.
Your lips pressed together as you watched Jeonghan. You kept having this feeling like everything was super complicated when in reality it wasn’t.
Jeonghan loved you.
Did you love him?

Give up, Stop trying
What’s up
I see you there
Procrastinating
“Let me try again tomorrow”
You say
Yeah that’s all you’re ever gonna do
Is try
So give up
Give up on the idea of
“Trying”
What are you “trying” to do?
You’re probably procrastinating right this moment
You say you want it so bad
Stop allowing your fear of failure to hold you back
Right now I want you to
Write down
Or simply say aloud
The things you feel when you
“Don’t succeed”
Are you upset?
Are you tired?
Are you sleepy?
Are you mad?
Why?
Why do you feel this way?
Is it because you are “trying so hard?”
That’s the problem
You’re upset because you’re “trying”
Trying doesn’t mean failure
But it allows you to believe that you might
Nikes slogan isn’t “Just do it” for no reason
Just do it
It doesn’t say just try it?? Does it?
If you try to open something
You can’t because it’s hard
So you give up
This is the mindset of someone
Who “tries”
Not saying we don’t ever try something in our lives like a date or a meal etc that’s different
but in this particular situation
Trying means you’re allowing yourself to either succeed or fail
Trying is like this or that
Succeed or fail
“I guess I’ll try”
Translates to
“I might fail but let’s wing it”
Stop trying just do
And you know what procrastination is
You’re not lazy
You DO want your dream life
You’re procrastinating because of your fear of failure
But that fear comes from
Your belief that you always have to “try”
You fear not succeeding
This is why you procrastinate
Procrastination is fear disguised as laziness
You think you’re lazy
But you’re not
You procrastinate because something in your life or in your head
Is holding you back
With the power you obtain
You cannot allow any stress to take over YOUR life to address this procrastination address whatever it is stressing you out
Whether it’s a person
Mental health etc
Start off small
You don’t “try” to shower of eat right
Say what you’re going to do
Then do it
All day
“I’m gonna shower”
Go shower
“I’m gonna eat”
Go eat
Keep doing this
You can’t fail at showering or eating
You do it effortlessly you’re subconsciously programmed to do this
But guess what
You’re also subconsciously programmed to enter the void state
Keynote
That “entering” the void is a phrase
It does not literally mean you’re entering
You’re not going anywhere
You’re experiencing the void the same way you experience you sleeping
When you dream you’re not actually going to those places
You experience it
Just like you can become aware if you’re dreams (lucid dreams)
Even when you’re not lucid dreaming
You still are unconsciously aware that it’s happening
This is why sometimes you remember your dreams
If you can remember it
You experienced it
The void is an experience
Not a place
You’re becoming aware that it exists
Because it does
When your body experiences 3D symptoms like floating or spinning etc
Why we say to ignore
Because this reality
You’re always experiencing it
What you’re trying to experience is the 4D
So why focus on the reality you DON’T you want to experience
So back to the procrastination
So at night
Say
“I’m going into the void”
By breaking this habit
You’ll feel refreshed knowing that you WILL get in the void
Because the whole day you were saying exactly what you were gonna do
And you did it
The habit is broken
No procrastination = No trying
How many tests have you aced by not procrastinating and studying?
And by not procrastinating you are allowing yourself to only succeed
And when you “try”
What happens
You feel floaty
Then you’re awake or you fall asleep
You think to yourself
“The void isn’t real”
“Why do I keep falling asleep?”
“Ugh my head hurts”
These are 3D reactions
Because how can your 3D mind
Understand the 4D mindset?
Live in your imagination
Be in tune with the 4D
This is the reality that’s got everything you want this is like your soulmate your best friend or lover tend to this reality
Stay there
Bring it to this reality
Much love🩵🩵

🩶As Close As Strangers🩶
Tumblr media
{POV: When drunk Leon showed up at your door that night, the last thing you wanted to do was catch up with your old partner. There was just too much you hadn't told him.}
♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
《 Rain was falling against your roof softly that night, lulling the sound of late traffic and other nighttime noises outside your suburban home. But it startled you when a loud, jarring knock came to the door suddenly.
It thudded with an urgency, and you were on alert now with the thought of who could be knocking this late. In the rain, too. You stood up, using your used-to-be police training to creep through your living room to see out onto your stoop.
Your eyes widened seeing no one at first, but there was a shadow that slowly came into the light, and your heart thundered when you recognized the face. You hurried to the door, unsure even with a million guesses as to how he even found your address or remembered you at all.
“Leon?!” You said opening the door in a swing, wrapping yourself tighter in your silk night robe to keep the chill of the rain away.
He stumbled on his feet, seeming like he was reaching for a hug but he stopped, as if he was unsure how to proceed in reintroducing himself. Suddenly it all became clear when he started to slur his speech in a ramble of words,
“I ugh- I was in the…the ugh- ” His hands moved up to try and talk without words, but you nodded in understanding,
“You're drunk.” You said finitely, ready to tell him that he needed to find a way home but he stumbled again, however this time his stance gave out completely as he dropped on your doorstep in a fall.
You knelt down, trying to save him from hurting himself then mentioned in a gasp upon feeling the wetness of rain soaked in his clothes,
“Did you walk here?”
You knew it didn't matter. He was drenched, shivering, probably on the verge of a fever from the cold, and he was clearly too plastered to get himself home. So, you helped him inside, pulling on him gently and supporting his weight to rest him on the sofa for now while you figured this out.
You hadn't seen Leon in years. He looked exactly the same. As if time just hadn't caught up to him yet. You wished you could say the same. The new recruit you were when you knew him was long gone now. You'd changed so much. You wondered if maybe he'd just have to meet you all over again. You were partners at one pretty little point in time, always together and growing together to protect the city.
Now…you felt as close as strangers.
But there was something else. Something so dire that you never got to say to him. Your world depended on it, actually. Leon Kennedy was someone you hoped to never see again now that you'd stayed silent for this long with such a gravelly secret.
You sat him on the couch, watching as clearly his head was swimming from alcohol. He smelled flammable, so you were surprised he wasn't ready to lose the liquor on your living room floor, but he was quiet. And still. You reached forward, trying to convince him to shed his wet jacket to get comfortable, telling him to just lie down and be warm for a while. Quietly, he fell asleep, and you knew that might be for the best. You didn’t want to catch up like old friends. There was too much he didn't know.
Couldn't know.
After a few minutes, your gaze on his nostalgia was broken when he began to stir away from sleep. You never thought you'd see him again but he looked at you tiredly now trying to keep conversation.
“How've you been? Haven't seen you since I moved up to federal. I lost my cell at the bar - I figured I'd see if you were home.” He said with a little more sobriety.
Your blood went cold when you knew you had to lie and you played the only card you had at this moment, which was being as vague as possible.
“I've been fine. Just working…some here then some there. Just busy.”
He nodded but then groaned as he sat up straight. Letting the moonlight in the room illuminate his face. Your expression turned soft, and you watched as winced from a headache - somehow beautifully. You stood up, trying not to be seen awestruck by the eyes that still halted you to this day.
You poured tea that was still warm from the kitchen kettle and brought it over in a mug as it steamed. You promised it would help his headache, and he thanked you in a mutter as he drank.
“How uhm-” You said stuttering now as you sat across from him, becoming more interested in talking after all,
“How've you been?”
Leon swallowed his gulp laboredly, that probably being the only hydration he'd had in hours, and he cleared his throat softly,
“I've been alright. They take me everywhere now that I'm an agent. I'm wondering when they'll let me off the leash for a while.”
You smiled, chuckling to remember how hardcore of a workaholic he was. Even before being promoted to agent, he was always everywhere for the city. Under the governor's orders or the mayor's. He did work like a dog.
You balled up in the armchair where you sat and heard as he spoke further with a growing smile,
“Yanno, I actually caught up with our old chief the other day. I told him that…you were still one of the best partners I ever had. He said you….went on leave for a while? After our last mission, I ugh- didn't expect that.”
Oh God, you thought with a shiver in your spine.
There was no way to explain that little leave of yours without telling the truth. And all of it. You struggled to find an explanation. Another lie. You only nodded, struggling to merely confirm that you did in fact leave the force for a while.
But, suddenly, there was a creak on your stairs where a tiny voice called out in the dark,
“Mommy?”
You both spun towards the stairs where the small voice came from and Leon froze seeing a boy, no older than five, sleepily rubbing his eyes in his pajamas. He looked back to you, silencing himself from even breathing as you interacted with what to be….your small son.
You put on your kind, motherly smile to ask if he'd had a nightmare, to which he nodded so sweetly. You assured him that you'd be up to turn on his nightlight in just a moment and heard him tiptoe back up the stairs with his tiny footsteps thudding.
He didn't see Leon. That was a relief. But Leon also didn't see him, not in this dark.
At least not his face.
However, once there was quiet again, you knew exactly how this night would go. Leon was too quick, he wasn't stupid. He'd piece it together like the trusted detective he was. And there'd be only one person to blame.
“I-” He stammered, getting the first hint that you were lying about something,
“I didn't know you had a kid..either.”
You stayed quiet. Maybe you wouldn't have to open your mouth at all. He could see you weren't wearing a wedding ring. Meaning this boy's father wasn't asleep upstairs or…away on a business trip.
You both were inches away from the truth now, and you saw as the pieces in his mind soon fell into place.
He thought of the last mission you were on together. Not the work of it all. Not the report, and not the recognition you earned for it. It was the night after.
That night.
"Fuck that job", he thought. All he could remember was that night.
Both of you had just finished your report in DC, shook hands with the governor and….tried to fly home. But there was a storm - the flight was canceled. And the only hotel with vacancy within city limits had only one room for the both of you. It didn't matter if there were double beds. Neither of you slept a wink.
"We….didn't even want to," he remembered.
"We just wanted each other. Over and over again."
But what month was it. Was it May? April - No. It was summer.
It was July.
“He's not yours, Leon. Christ!” You said in a quiet snap, knowing the face he made when his mind tried to unravel a timeline and do the math.
It was one last attempt at a good lie to make this all normal again.
Leon kept quiet. That face he made- The one that solved cases stayed firm in the thought that he needed to determine whether or not was being lied to. And had been for years now.
He reached to the end table at his side, but he kept his gaze with yours. He told you without words that you had one last chance for honesty before he looked at the photo being tenderly kept in a frame right here in the family room. He didn't need to guess if it was a picture of your son.
He knew.
His eyes moved down, stone cold sober now, and you tried to stop him from using that same ray of moonlight to see how big of goddamn liar you really were. He'd see the resemblance. There wouldn't be a need for him to do any math after that.
“...L- Leon, d-”
“Just fucking stop.” He said cutting you off with the first touch of rage in his tone now that he saw exactly what he'd been left in the dark about.
It was everything.
He began to unsnap this photo away from its picture frame, wanting and needing to hold it in his hands. His jaw tightened and his throat burned. He thought you were a better liar. Or maybe just a better person.
Sometimes, when he was alone, all he thought of was you…in that room with him in DC. Was this why? Because something wasn't right?
“Don't you dare tell me…that he isn't mine.”
He turned the picture of your small son towards you, practically holding the proof in his hands. He didn't need to remember the month you slept together. Or ask you how old your son was exactly.
He knew.
“-When he looks just like me.” 》

I Guess It's Different Cause You Love Him(Eddie Munson x Fem!Reader)
Tumblr media
warnings: fluff, angst, mentions of cheating, mentions of possible abuse, alcohol use, reader gets drunk, Eddie is weak for her word count: 1.4k pairings: Eddie Munson x Fem!Reader
Eddie hates your boyfriend. He does his best to be on his best behavior because he is your best friend, but Eddie knows you could do so much better than this fool. Still, he’ll bite his tongue and pretend to be supportive of this relationship. It just hurts when he watches the person he loves the most get shit all over.
Day after day, he sees the real you begin to disappear. The shine and glow of you fades as your boyfriend takes over more and more aspects of your life. Eddie wants to say something, but he’s so damn scared to lose you. He’s scared that if he tells you that this guy is bad for you that it’ll end up backfiring on you and you’ll only think that Eddie is jealous of your boyfriend.
And it hurts him so much to watch you begin to fade away. Your normally sunny smile is only half-assed these days. You were someone who would try decently well in school and in work, but now it would seem you’re doing so poorly. You even stopped coming to the Hellfire club meets, which ends up worrying everyone.
But you always try to pass it off as nothing. Eddie knows that you’ll barely open up to it because this asshole has got you convinced you’re happy. He sees how your boyfriend acts around you, especially when he thinks nobody else is around. Eddie sees the tired look in your eyes along with the heavy bags that begin to form under them. He sees the way you flinch whenever someone raises their voice just a little too loud.
This all culminates one night when someone at school begins passing around the rumor that your boyfriend has been cheating on you. At first you try not to believe it, but the more you hear it from people who give you sad and pitiful looks, it becomes obvious that this isn’t just a rumor. You’ve been played and you’re so embarrassed. You don’t even know who to turn to because you’ve just alienated yourself with the help of that asshole. You’re way too afraid to turn to Eddie, the man who you trust in the most. You’ve been hurting him the most, you realize as all of this comes crashing down.
The bar near your home allows you inside even if you aren’t quite of age. You know the patrons and the bartenders. They can tell you’re not doing well. So the bartender pours you a drink, which soon turns into two…then three…then four.
By the time you’re five drinks in, you’re more than tipsy. You’re absolutely drunk. You’re dancing to whatever song they’ve got playing on the jukebox, but it isn’t healing your heart. It won’t heal your heart ever. There’s not much that ever could. You find yourself sitting on a stool at the bar, your head in your hands as you try to steady yourself.
“You got someone to come pick you up, dear?” The bartender asks.
You’re about to say no, but then you remember Eddie. You nod your head and the bartender gives you money for the payphone in the corner of the bar. You sway as you walk over there, and you lean against the wall to steady yourself. The phone feels heavy in your hands, but you press it to your ear and you put the coin in the slot. It surprises yourself to be able to remember Eddie’s number while you’re in this state. After a few rings, you feel like crying because someone answers.
“Munson residence, Eddie speaking,” Eddie says on the other end, a mocking tone to his voice.
You half-sob, “Eddie can you…can you come pick me up?”
Immediately he’s freezing on the spot, worried about what’s going on with you. He had heard those rumors today too but he didn’t want to hurt your feelings. He had wanted you to come to him for comfort.
“Babe, what’s the matter?”
“Come pick me up. I’m at the bar.”
You tell him the address and beg him to hurry. He can tell you’re not feeling well at all. So he quickly gets into his van and drives over to the bar. Once he arrives, he spots you just sitting outside. You’re obviously drunk and he feels so sorry for you.
“Eds…” you moan softly, clutching your head in pain.
Eddie is quick to pick you up, allowing you to lean on him. He’s not even really sure what to say just yet, so instead he focuses on getting you buckled into your seat.
Then he begins driving the moment he’s back into the driver’s seat. You moan in pain and you begin to cry. It’s breaking his heart to see you like this. Eddie feels guilty because he knows he should have been there for you. He should have done more for you.
“Honey,” he says softly. “Don’t worry. Things will be okay.”
You shake your head, “No…he made a fool of me.”
Eddie feels his heart wrench when you say this. It’s painful to see you hurting this way. So he drives you back to his trailer, knowing you’ll have a safe space to recover from being this drunk. Once you two arrive, he unbuckles your seatbelt and he guides you inside the trailer. You are so thankful that his uncle isn’t home right now. You don’t want him to think poorly of you.
“Easy there,” Eddie says as you begin to stumble. He’s guiding you towards his bedroom.
As the alcohol burns in your veins even more and your mind gets hazy, you allow Eddie to lay you on the bed. First he takes off your shoes, then he begins to remove your jeans. He takes off your shirt, gently caressing your shoulders before pulling on his old Iron Maiden shirt on you. Then you watch as he leaves you on the bed for a few moments.
When Eddie reappears, you’re so happy to see him. He’s got a bottle of water in his hands. He helps you sit up, and you relish in the feelings of his warm hands on your skin. He holds you close as he brings the bottle to your lips.
“Drink so slowly, honey.”
You try your best to take his advice, but the water just tastes so refreshing. Soon he’s pulling it away from you and he helps you lay back on the pillows. He pulls the covers up over you and he’s about to leave when you grab his hand and whine a little.
“Stay with me,” you pout. “Please, Eddie.”
His heart skips a beat when he sees how pitiful you are. You’re a sight for sore eyes, but he still thinks you’re the most beautiful woman he’s ever laid eyes on. So without thinking too much, he shrugs off his jacket and kicks off his shoes. He slides under the covers with you, and immediately you cling to him. It feels natural to have you back in his arms like this.
“I’m such a fucking dumbass,” you mutter under your breath.
“No, you’re not. Stop thinking that way. That guy is such an asshole for playing you like that.”
Eddie thinks you might be too drunk to understand what he’s saying, but your heart flutters when he defends your honor. You cling a little tighter to him, and he presses the softest kiss to the top of your head.
“Why are you treatin’ me so good?” you ask, your words a bit slurred.
Eddie sighs, and he knows you might not remember this in the morning. “Cause I love ya,”
Your heart flutters again and you snuggle even closer. You know maybe he doesn’t mean it in the way you need it, but you still love hearing it from him. You smile sweetly at him, and he leans in to kiss your lips so softly.
“You’re my girl,” he finally admits. “And…I couldn’t even protect you.”
You sigh softly, “Eds…I don’t blame you for this. You are so wonderful.”
You two share another kiss, and he caresses your face so softly. You don’t even really know why you were dating that asshole…especially when you could have had this the entire time.
“Sleep now,” Eddie commands. “Sleep now and we’ll talk more tomorrow, okay?”
You nod your head, “Kay…night night, Eddie.”
He holds you close, vowing to himself he’ll never ever let anything else hurt you like this. Never again will you know pain.

[Name] Molan was about to fall asleep when intruders suddenly infiltrated the Molan Estate.
“...Mom I’m scared.”
The 5-year-old clutched her mother’s skirt. Screaming and clashing of weapons can be heard throughout the house.
Her mother said nothing at first. Opting to get her greatsword from underneath the child’s bed first.
“Baby you started learning stealth techniques with your brother right?”
[Name] nodded as she felt her mother squeeze her hand.
“Remember what Dad taught you okay? You might have to use it tonight. Think of it as an exercise to see how well you’ve learned.”
The situation is scary, but despite that [name] feels calm because her mother is smiling at her.
But that doesn’t stop her hand from shaking as she hears their family members’ screams.
Slowly, the mother-daughter duo slithered out of the bedroom. Their main goal is to find Ron and Beacrox before escaping the estate.
Run, hide, roll over, they did everything just to avoid the eyes of the masked people attacking their estate. As they run away corpses of their family members and servants can be seen everywhere they go. The stench of their blood overtook [name]’s senses making her want to puke.
Everything seemed to be going well at first. However, they have been discovered after a few minutes of sneaking around. It was inevitable. With every corner being surrounded by those mysterious people massacring the Molans.
“[NAME]!”
[Name]’s mother just hadn’t expected one of those bastard’s swords to pierce the child’s chest instead.
The Molan Mistress was surrounded. She was trying her best to fend off everyone who dared to hurt her child.
But her efforts weren’t enough.
One of the enemies still managed to slip past her greatsword.
At that moment Beacrox, her first child, entered the room they were in. His eyes were shaking along with his legs as he ran to hide behind her mother.
“Beacrox take care of your sister.”
Her voice was calm. Fitting as the wife of the Molan Patriarch. Her hand tightly clenched on her greatsword. Eyes fierce, their gaze holds a promise of protecting her children.
Meanwhile, Beacrox sat on the ground. His arms cradled his baby sister while also trying to apply pressure to where she was hurt.
“Orabeoni… it hurts… it really hurts…”
“Just hold on a little longer. Father will get here soon.”
Beacrox’s hands are covered in blood. [Name]’s blood. No matter how hard he tries he can’t stop the bleeding. He can’t stop his younger sister’s body from going cold.
“Orabeoni… Orabeoni…”
[Name] tried to lift her small hands, but was too weak to do so. Beacrox shushed her, reassuring her that she’d be fine. That she’ll make it through the night. That they’ll get out of here alive.
She has to. Beacrox doesn’t think he’ll ever be the same if his baby sister dies here.
“I’m scared… Everything hurts.”
Beacrox is scared too. Scared of the copious amounts of blood escaping her little body. Scared of her body slowly becoming colder as the seconds fly by. Scared of her eyes that are slowly fluttering themself close.
“Hey, hey, you can’t sleep yet. We have to wait for Father first okay?”
Despite all of those things, the Molan heir stood strong. He has to. He needs to be strong enough for the two of them.
[Name] tries hard to follow her brother’s orders. However, the task starts to feel impossible to accomplish as time goes on. Sleep tempts her, tells her that if she closes her eyes the pain will disappear.
Her surroundings became more and more hazy and her family's voices grew quieter until she couldn’t hear them anymore. She was fighting to stay awake despite her body desperately shutting down.
“Dad…”
She mumbles as she sees a blur of a person that she thinks she recognizes as her father.
“It’s okay. Everything is okay now. We’ll get out of here.”
Ron tries to reassure the girl but she can’t hear him anymore. He pressed his fingers on her pulse desperately trying to find one. Once he found it he asked his son to monitor the pulse as he aides his wife.
Bathump
“Baby stay with me. Dad’s here now. Dad will get you out of here.”
Thump
“[Name] you can’t close your eyes. Beacrox try to keep her eyes open!”
thump
“Mom! Dad! I- I can’t! I can barely feel her pulse. She’s also not breathing anymore!”
…thump
“Run. I’ll handle it here. Go with your father!”
“But what about [name]???”
“...It’s too late for her…”
…thum…
Only then did Beacrox let go of [name]’s wrist. Even after removing his hand, he felt like he could still hear it.
Her last pulse.
The feeling of it lingered in Beacrox’s hand. He clenches and lets go of his hand, but still…
Still, he could feel it.
Even as he runs away while looking at his father’s back. Even decades later when his serving the Henituse family as a chef.
That feeling never goes away.
Meanwhile, the one left at the Molan Estate is still fighting. Desperately fighting the intruders with all her might.
She knows she’s outnumbered. She knows that she will die at their hands. She knows she has no fighting chance.
But still, she fights.
In hopes of buying her husband and her son time. In hopes of letting them escape and live to see another day.
And as she expected, she didn’t last long. After a few minutes of swinging her greatsword, he had finally succumbed to her wounds. Her body fell on the ground of what used to be their home. Of what used to be a safe space for her and her family.
Luckily, they left her alone after that. Figuring that she’ll die on her own either way. It gave her a chance to crawl over to her daughter. Gave her the chance to hug her one last time before her inevitable doom.
[Name]’s body was still bleeding. It had slowed down considerably thanks to Beacrox’s efforts but it was still bleeding. But her mother didn’t mind. She didn’t mind the puddle of blood gathering underneath her daughter’s body.
She just wants to hug her child one last time.
That’s why she ignored everything. The sticky blood, [name]’s cold body, her own ragged breathing. She ignored all of it and imagined that they were back in her daughter’s room. That she’s just hugging her daughter to sleep after telling her a bedtime story.
…thump
Ron’s wife wasn’t sure if she heard that right.
…thump …thump
She pressed her ears closer to [name]’s heart and heard the faintest of pulse. It was almost nonexistent.
But it meant that there was still hope for her daughter.
Gathering her strength. She draped over her body on top of her daughter. This effectively hid her and put pressure on her wound.
She didn’t know if her daughter would survive. But she knows that she won't. This is her last ditch effort to make her daughter live. The only thing she can do with her dying body.
Kissing the crown of her sweet baby’s head for one last time, she let her body finally succumb to its wounds after fighting for so long.
Gasp!
[Name] gasped awake from her sleep as she dreamed of that night again. It’s been a few years since then. She has somehow managed to escape with her limited stealth skills at that time. Managed to go outside the borders of the Molden Kingdom in order to live.
For the first few years, she had to live on the streets. It was a sudden change. From having her own room and servants to barely eating one day a meal. But still, she persevered. It’s what her mother would have wanted.
She has nothing on her except the clothes on her back. She can’t even use her real name anymore for fear that someone will recognize it.
However, she did have her father’s teachings.
It may not have been much as she was just starting out before their family fell apart. But she still practised them every chance she got. Tries to expand what she knows by remembering what she has read and her experience while living on the streets.
“You’re already taking another job? Go out and play or something! You’re too young to be taking job after job!”
Her hard work paid off in the form of her being a mercenary. She used her skills and wits to qualify for such a dangerous job. In turn, she became a full pledge mercenary at the young age of 12.
Every mission was life-threatening. She never knows if a mission is going to be her last one. But it puts a roof over her head and a warm meal on her plate.
“Nalom, why do you take so many jobs? You already have enough money to last you for at least 3 months.”
One of the mercenaries ruffled her hair but she ignored it. Focusing her attention on the name she was called.
Nalom…
The opposite of Molan.
Cheesy. She knows it was cheesy to make her alias just the reverse spelling of her last name. But she feels like she will inevitably forget her real name if she doesn’t do it.
She might have lost everything that night but she promised herself that she’ll take revenge one day. It doesn’t matter how long it takes, she will get it done.
Hence why she takes job after job. Honing her skills and pushing her limits. Trying to discreetly sniff out any information about the secret organization that attacked the Molans.
“Bud I heard we’re going on a war with Arm?“
The now 27-year-old [name] sneaked behind Bud.
“Nalom! How many times do I have to keep telling you that you’ll give me a heart attack if you keep sneaking up on me like that?”
[Name] ignored the Mercenary King holding onto his chest as she waited for an answer.
“Yes, the veterans will attack their secret base in a few days.”
“I’m included right?”
Bud Illis looks at her as if she’s joking.
“Of course you are. You’ve been here for 15 years. There’s no way you’re not a veteran.”
Good.
That way she’ll finally get her revenge.
“By the way. Is the investigation about our first base done yet?”
[Name] could see Bud’s shoulder tense at the question. She honestly didn’t care much. It was devastating that it had been blown up and the directory is now gone but it’s not like anyone from their side died. So it’s not her problem.
Well at first at least.
Until she heard the rumours that the one who attacked the directory was Molan’s last patriarch.
“Not yet. I wasn’t there when it happened and we’re putting all our efforts into the upcoming attack that’s why the investigation is taking longer.”
She could sense that Bud was only telling half the truth but she let it go.
“Say Nalom, did you learn your stealth techniques from someone?“
The Mercenary King asked just as she was about to go out of his office.
“No, I learned during my time living on the streets.”
A half-life. It was only fair since Bud also lied to her.
With that [name] closed the door behind her making her unable to hear the conversation that happened in her absence.
“Her techniques feel similar to Patriarch-nim…”
Bud mumbled under his breath once the stealthy mercenary was gone.
“It’s different but their foundations are similar.”
Glenn agreed from the couch. Both of them wondered if there was a chance that Nalom was somehow connected to the Molans.
“Where’s the kid?”
One of the mercenaries asked as they prepared to attack Arm’s secret base.
“I don’t know, you know how Nalom is. I’m sure she’ll be fine.”
Another mercenary reassured the guy.
“Nalom? Who’s that?”
Cale asked Bud who was also trying to look for the missing mercenary.
“She’s our youngest veteran, only 27-years-old. But she’s the best among the mercenaries when it comes to stealth.”
Bud checked one last corner before sighing and giving up.
“She was here just a second ago… Well, it’s not like she can’t handle herself. But she has never gone on her own during large-scale attacks.”
The Mercenary King decided to trust the missing mercenary and continued with the original plan.
“Who goes there!?”
Beacrox hears a familiar yet foreign voice ask him as he dodges a flying dagger.
“I should be the one asking you…”
Brown hair that was the same shade as his own greeted him. Her one hand preparing to throw another dagger while her other hand was clutching on a flag that had been drawn on.
22 years. It has been 22 years since he last saw his little sister. His last memory of her was her body growing colder in his arms as he felt her pulse slowly stop.
Even today he could still feel her pulse linger in his hands.
“[Name].”
Beacrox called out. If only he knew that it was the first time in 22 years since anyone had called [name] by that name.
He could see the mercenary stop in her tracks. Her arm lowered as she processed his voice and the name he called her.
“Orabeoni?”
She asked and Beacrox nodded. Yes, it’s him. It’s her orabeoni.
[Name] slowly walked towards him. Her steps slow and staggering. Almost falling in his arms once she was close enough.
“It’s you. It’s really you. You’re alive.”
She cried in Beacrox's arms and for one he didn’t mind that his clothes were being tainted. He’ll take as much dirt as he needs as long as he can hug his sister in his arms.
Bathump. Bathump.
Instinctively his hand reached out to her wrist. The same wrist he held onto that night. But unlike that time, her pulse is loud and clear. Full of vitality.
Alive
“What’s taking you so long? I thought you were going to check out who was sneaking around your sister’s room?”
Ron’s voice echoed through the halls as he walked closer to where the siblings were.
“Dad’s alive? It was really Dad who blew up the first mercenary base?”
[Name] heard her brother hummed in affirmation. His chest vibrates against her cheek as they are still hugging each other.
Ron’s footsteps were silent but [name] could sense that he was close. Letting go of the hug, she stepped outside of her room to greet him.
They didn’t say anything. They don’t need to.
For Ron will be able to recognize his daughter anywhere.
That’s why he didn’t say anything and just accepted his running daughter with open arms. Hugging her tightly, as if trying to make up for the two decades they have been apart.
“Dad I was so lonely. I was so scared.”
She confided in her dad. The veteran mercenary who’s the best in stealth and wields double daggers is gone. In the arms of her dad, she’s simply [Name] Molan. She’s just the daughter he loves.
The daughter he thought he lost.
“It’s fine now. Everything is fine. You can tell your dad everything that happened.”
Ron stroked his daughter’s hair. His hands shaking ever so slightly.
Tears gathered in his eyes but only Beacrox noticed them.
The chef said nothing about his father’s vulnerability. He stayed silent even when a lone tear managed to escape his father’s eyes.
His strong father. The same one who bulldozed through everything just to keep him alive. The same father who worked hard to train him while discreetly investigating the organization that attacked them. His father showed no weakness.
That same father of his has been overcome by emotion.
And Beacrox can’t say anything about it for he was the same.

acotar x reader: one day at a time
Tw for death:
Reader loses somebody and their friends are there to pick up the pieces. A lil sprinkle sprinkle of az x reader bc that's MY BABYYYY
Lotsssssss of acts of service within the group.
Also bc im a petty asshole i included a snippet of one of my racist aunts who said some wild shit to me at MY SISTERS FUNERAL and just basically dissing her. (literally why would you stare at my poc best friend who's just trying to support me. This bitch stared at MY GIRL?? MY BESTIE???? NUH UH NOT ON MY WATCH BITCH).
Said best friend was just like “she’s never seen a brown person before marie it's fine.”
NO ITS NOT. IDC IF THIS IS MY SISTERS FUNERAL WE’LL MAKE IT A DOUBLE FUNERAL.
I'm petty.
soooo this is born out of grief for my sister. My sister passed away on 03/11/21 and this is very much catered to my grief and these are my comfort characters so naturally i'm gonna write about them when it comes to helping their loved one grieve.
and yeah this is gonna be based around the reader's sister dying. what can i say. I'm on brand.
also reader is feyres childhood friend that got turned into a fae with nesta and elain. i feel like that’s just the staple with my fics.
---------
When you got notified of your sister's death, it was actually a pretty good day up until that point. Sunny day with clouds, a wonderful brunch date with Mor, adorable children at the studio with Feyre. Afterwards, the two of you began walking back to Feyre’s, content on playing with Nyx for the evening before retiring to your own home. When you walked up, Feyre looked at you and told you about how the Inner Circle were having a meeting inside the office. So you two quickly joined them.
When you walked in, Rhysand held out a letter, “this was a letter delivered to you.”
You made a face and grabbed it, “okay, so why are you all staring at me like that?”
“This person walked into the Spring Court and dropped it on Tamlins doorstep.” Cassian said. “They dropped it in the middle of night, just when he wasn’t prowling like a creep.”
“What the fuck?” You asked as you analyzed it.
No name but yours and a pisspoor address.
Lady Y/N L/N
Night Court
“We didn’t know if it was a…” Azriel trailed off, realizing how silly what he was about to say was. “Hence, why all of us are here.”
“We’re also just nosey.” Mor shrugged, her nose wrinkling.
You snorted, and tore into it, “you could’ve opened it.”
“It’s your mail. We may be protective bastards but you still have a right to privacy.” Rhysand drawled.
Feyre stood next to you as you pulled out the paper, your eyes tracing over it.
“It’s from my dad.” You said recognizing his handwriting.
Then, it all went to shit.
Your big sister was dead, the woman you fought with a lot of the time but yet would take a beating for. Your big sister who helped guide you through life, who would always be there even if she was pissed off at you for some inane reason.
Gone.
You just froze, not knowing what to do. You’re pretty sure Az asked you a question, then Cass, then Rhys. Then you felt Feyre’s hand on your shoulder.
I need to leave.
I need to go before I hurt someone.
You just wordlessly handed the letter to her and winnowed away.
You didn’t go to your apartment, you didn’t go to the townehouse, you didn’t go anywhere they would find you.
You went to the middle of the forest. You just picked a random point to lose it.
And you did.
You didn’t remember much of causing the damage. Only that you managed to stop when Azriel’s arms wrapped around you. You just kept screaming. “I know, I know. It’s okay, it’s okay, I’m here.” He said, his lips against your hair.
His shadows wrapped around your hands, cool wind kissing away the raging inferno of your cuts. You collapsed, taking Azriel to the ground.
He just held you as you sobbed. You felt his own tears hit your neck. He usually did a better job masking his emotions, but it was you crying, you who he had a deeper bond with. So he let his emotions run free.
“Y/N!” Feyre called into your mind. Your shields were down and you didn’t even notice.
“Az has me, i’m sorry I-”
“Don’t apologize. I would’ve done worse if I found out…” Her voice trailed off.
“I’m sorry I ran off.”
“Do not apologize.” She said sternly, “After you and Az are done come back to the River House. You can sleep at our house tonight. Guest bed is currently being made up.”
She left your mind before you could respond. You breathed in the smell of Az.
Azriel brought you back to Feyre and Rhysand’s home. Rhys had trouble with touch, but never with you. He brought you into his arms instantly. You tried not to let the tears surface again, but it was quite hard when a brotherly kiss was pressed against your head.
“We got you, Y/N.” He whispered against the crown of your head.
Nuala and Cerridwen made you your favorite food. Which prompted you to start crying again. The twins looked so panicked that it almost made you laugh. Elain made your favorite cookies, which again kept the tears going.
“I don’t know why I’m crying over this.” You said helplessly, you managed to laugh during that.
Feyre and Elain hugged you from both sides.
You retired to the guest bedroom, you found a pile of fluffy blankets and your favorite candy. As well as a bouquet of your favorite flowers with Mor’s handwriting scrawled on the note. Amren left you a bottle of your favorite wine too.
Eventually, after some more tears, there was a knock at your door. You called out for them to come in but saw Nyx.
The little guy was walking even more, speaking full sentences. It’s insane to you that he grew so fast but it has been 5 years since he was born.
“Go on like we practiced.” You heard Feyre encourage from behind the door frame.
“Hi, Auntie.” The little guy mumbled. Holding a glass of water. “I have something for you.”
“Yeah buddy?” You smiled despite the shitty day. Your nephew made everything better.
Rhysand walked in behind him, as did Feyre. Rhysand lifted him up onto the bed while Feyre handed you a cup of hot chocolate.
You were just glad Nyx wasn’t holding the hot drink.
“Here’s some wata.” He said, his small hands handing you the glass.
“Oh thank you.” You said earnestly and took a sip. You set it on the table. Then you laid back down and faced him. “Just what I needed.” You were genuine.
“Auntie, are you sad?” Both Feyre and Rhys froze at their sons question. Clearly, he was going off script.
You sniffed, “yeah, Nyxie. I’m really sad.”
“I love you.” His eyes were so big, so genuine. You were going to cry for a whole new reason.
“I love you more.”
“Nuh uh.” He said, as a typical toddler wanting to argue no matter what.
You huffed a laugh and opened your arms. “Come here.”
He crawled into your arms with no hesitation. You were careful of his little baby wings as you held him close to you.
You loved this kid.
Feyre settled in behind you on the bed, Rhysand joined on the other side with his son.
They held you as you drifted off into a dreamless sleep, hoping to see your sister one last time.
————————
When it came to planning the funeral, you had to go out to your family’s cottage to help. You said you could go alone, but frankly, good luck telling Nesta and the Valkyries to stay behind when one of their own is in pain.
So when you saddled up to your family with three warriors behind you, they were scared a bit to say the least.
Emerie held your hand during the funeral discussion as Nesta watched the director to make sure she wasn’t insensitive to you. Gwyn stood guard behind you. They were protectors, they were not gonna leave one of their girls to deal with this alone.
Eventually, the funeral was planned. The rest of your chosen family came out and surprised you. You sent a notice to them of when the funeral was and told them they didn’t need to come because you knew how busy they were.
When they showed up on your family’s doorstep to surprise you, you started crying again.
——-
The day of the funeral, it was the entire inner circle crammed into the living room of the cottage of your mortal family’s living space.
You felt bad cramming two males with wings into that small space, especially with so many other people. But Cassian and Azriel assured you that there’s nowhere else they would be.
You slept sharing a flimsy mattress with Elain, since the other two sisters were with their mates. But Feyre and Rhys slept close. So did Nesta and Cassian. Both women facing your general direction.
Azriel did not sleep. He wanted to be there in case you woke up in tears again.
Amren slept sitting up against a wall, she wouldn’t admit it but she wanted an eye on you. She only trusted hers.
Mor was curled on the other side of you. You were sandwiched between her and Elain.
Emerie and Gwyn slept down by your guys’ legs. Emerie’s head on Mor’s thigh. Gwyn hugging Elain legs in her sleep.
Azriel chose not to mention what happened when your dad came downstairs in the middle of the night to check on you.
It was as if he wasn’t sure if you’d really be there. He just lost one daughter, he didn’t want to lose another.
He nodded at Azriel who nodded back. Assuring him that you weren’t going anywhere. That you always had people watching out for you.
As everyone got ready, it was a somber moment. Elain did your hair, Mor did your makeup, Amren set out your jewelry and Feyre handled your clothes. They didn’t want you doing anything.
Nesta, Gwyn and Emerie let your nephew and niece play with their swords. It was the one thing they seemed interested in so they let them do it.
Rhysand was currently trying to get your dad to accept a check from him and Feyre to pay for everything plus anything else your parents need during this time. Your father was refusing. Rhys spoke bluntly. “Your daughter is my family, please let me take care of her family.”
Your dad didn’t. But Rhys hid the check in your dads night table. He felt yucky going into their room but did it to make sure they got the check.
On the way to the funeral, Azriel had offered his arm for you to take, which you gratefully did. Rhysand got the door for you. Az led you in. The overprotective bat boys acted like your body guards, which you appreciated, however you couldn’t help but giggle a little bit at it.
Nesta told you before the funeral to let her know if you wanted her to intervene to keep some relatives away.
One of your (racist) aunts kept telling you how you’re responsible for your sister's kids. Then when she saw Azriel, Cassian, Rhysand, Amren and Emerie, she just stared. Before you could intervene, Elain and Gwyn stood in front of them.
You almost wacked her so hard it was going to be a double funeral. You had prepared them before that some relatives were racist. They didn’t give a rat's ass.
Oh and then everyone in your party including you were Fae. That also did not help.
Hence why you lived in Velaris, away from all the bigotry.
During the service, Feyre sat on one side of you, Amren on the other side. Feyre clutched your hand and Amren even held out her hand for you. She always had a soft spot for you. Mor’s makeup didn’t last long throughout the service which is why she did bare minimum on your face.
Afterwards, you left pretty soon after the service was done. You just had to leave the building. You guys went to a pub in your funeral attire. Azriel sat next to you and Nesta on the other side. Rhys refused to let you pay. But you knew he was trying to get you riled up. It was working.
He was incredibly happy to see the fire return to your eyes.
At that moment, with your family, you knew you were going to be okay.
Just have to take every day one step at a time.

omg imagine like the very first time mike confesses his love to reader, long before you became a couple.
they are best friends and know each other since the filming of challengers. josh calls her in the middle of the night not knowing what to do ‘cause apparently they went out together, mike is drunk as hell and he keeps babbling about how he wants to go to her house right now. so josh suggests that he should drive him over at her place because he’s a mess. she agrees because he’s her friend of course. josh helps her put him under the shower and then he leaves. she showers him with cold water so he can sober up and he just accidentally blurts out that he is and has been madly in love with her.
she’s obviously in love with him too but assumes he’s not gonna remember any of this in the morning. so she just tucks him in her couch and let’s him sleep it off.
he actually remembers what he said the next day and they kind of address their feelings towards eachother and establish their relationship!
“I know but he’s gonna come to your place either way, by foot maybe and he’s not in the condition to walk at all” Josh says on the phone, trying to convince you into making Mike come over at your place.
“Fine, come over” you say, sighing.
Mike was apparently drunk and wanted to come to your place for some reason. You tried to say no cause it’s late and honestly it was your first free night in weeks.
You see the lights of Josh’s car so you go by the door and open it leaning against it while you see him walking behind Mike, who doesn’t look good at all.
“What’s going on?” you ask.
Mike sees you, “Hi”, he says.
“I don’t know… he’s kept telling me he wanted to come here since his third drink” Josh says, “I have to go tho… I got work tomorrow, is it okay if he crashes here?”
“Yeah, sure, go” you say. Of course Mike is your friend, it’s the least you can do.
You let him in.
“On the couch, come on” you guide him to your couch and he crashes onto it.
“What did you drink?” you ask him.
“First it was just gin tonics… that I got in with the shots… tequila” he says. He sounds awful. He has his head on the rester, eyes closed. You go get him a glass of water to begin washing down the alcohol.
“Here, drink something nice” you hand him the glass.
“Tequila was nice,” he says. Even if he’s drunk like this he always finds his way through a cheeky joke.
“You should take a very cold shower now, since you’re apparently crashing here” you offer, “Can you walk to the bathroom?”
“I guess” he gets up but noticing he isn’t stable on his feet you decide to walk him there.
You turn around so that he can undress himself and get in the shower but that turns out useless because when you turn again you remember your shower box is in clear glass so you can see everything. You try to look anywhere else but you also have to be there so that he doesn’t hurt himself in some way. So it gets a little awkward. You bring him a towel and hand it to him when he’s done.
He sits on the toilet with wet hair and only a towel around his waist. You look at him and almost laugh at his condition, he’s not usually the type to end up like this after a night out, he’s pretty decent in his ways.
You give him the largest baggy clothes you have but needless to say they look tight on him anyway, especially the sweatpants.
You prepare him the couch for the night, trying to make it as comfortable as possible. He sits on the couch and you sit next to him.
Then he puts his head on your legs and closes his eyes. You start caressing his hair.
“I’m so in love with you” he says.
That makes you freeze for a second. You try not to make it evident by still caressing his hair.
He then drifts off to sleep so that ends there. You try to put his head on the pillow and get up without waking him.
You get to your bedroom thinking about what he said. He didn’t mean it. It was just a way to say thank you. Sure, it was just that.
The morning after you wake up and prepare breakfast for the both of you. When he wakes up you decide to pretend he said nothing mostly because you were hoping he didn’t remember anything and for a moment it really seemed like he didn’t remember anything from last night.
He approaches you from behind and puts a hand on the counter.
“I meant what I said last night”
You freeze just like you did just a few hours prior. You refuse to look at him but you continue to clean up the kitchen counter even if there’s nothing to clean.
“Mike…” you start.
“I am in love with you” he simply says.
You turn towards him, “I got it and I’m not gonna pretend I don’t feel anything either, but-” you stop. And you can’t continue.
“But what?” he asks.
“What about our friendship?”
“It will just turn into something greater… We’ll always be friends either way” he says.
“What about our working schedules? They’re crazy, we’ll never f-”
“Now you’re just inventing things” he says, “Tell me you don’t feel anything and I’ll drop it”
You can’t tell him you don’t feel anything, you can’t lie to him. So instead, you just pull him into a kiss.
"Is that enough of a confirmation?" you say.
"I guess" he says and reconnects his lips with yours.

How would Yan Miguel feel with an S/O who's pregnant with Gabriel's baby, Miguel thinks that the baby is his but it's his brother’s child. Miguel is furious, sad and upset that she decided to have a baby with his younger brother, so instead of taking his anger out on her, Miguel takes his entire anger out on his brother. Because Miggy wanted so badly to be a father again.
I love your work!!
and i love your ideas
You watched him pace back and forth in front of you while you sat on the couch. You didn't know how to tell him. But now that the elephant in the room was addressed, you didn't know how to stop him from destroying everything around him. He looked so fucking pissed and you were so goddamn scared. You tried to rub your belly to soothe yourself, but you still ended up with nausea from stressing yourself out.
You couldn't bring yourself to make eye contact with him as he cussed to himself, asking a million questions that would never get answered because he would just get more mad. Suddenly, he disappeared into the bedroom. You watched him with weary eyes, wanting to get up and follow him to stop him from doing something stupid. But by the time you got to your feet and was waddling towards the bedroom door, he was storming out with a jacket on and his keys in hand.
You looked up at him and tried to stop him, but he just slid passed you. "Where are you going?" You ask. He mumbles something about you needing to sit back down. You just wanted him to talk to you. Was he going to leave you? Was he gonna hurt you? Was he going to hurt Gabriel?? You just wanted emotional comfort and he was acting like you weren't even here anymore.
"Miguel?" He begins making a phone call and you try your best to reach him. Time and time again, he slips through your fingers like every other time you want his eyes on you. When you want to matter to him. When his phone goes to voicemail, he hangs up and turns around, only to see you struggling to make ends meet and sighs heavily.
"Amor...." He sits you on one of the kitchen chairs close by. Your face flushed with emotions he couldn't really decipher and concluded you were overwhelming yourself. His hand automatically wipes the tears from your face, his heart breaking with yours.
"Try not to stress yourself out too much, okay?" Because it's bad for our the baby, is what he wanted to add. His heart panged in his chest when he remembered the child wasn't his and he got pissed all over again. He doesn't know where he went wrong.
Where you both went wrong. Wasn't what the both of you had enough for you? Was Miguel not enough? Was he not as available as you wanted him to be? He was stupid to think he'd ever be enough for someone like you. But for you to go to his brother instead just made a feeling rot his heart in the most irrational of ways. He was ready to get rid of all possible competition if it meant he could have you to himself. He loves you. He fucking loves you and he'd repeat it a thousand times while killing a hundred men if it meant getting it through your hard head.
And he'd kill his own fucking brother to prove the point. No one was safe.
He couldn't say that to you right now, though. Not when you were like this. "I'll be back, baby. Please take care of yourself."
"Can you just tell me where you're going?"
"I need to take care of something."
"Are you going to hurt him? Are you going to see Gabriel? Please don't kill him, he didn't do anything. It was all me, please. Please, not him, wait! Just hurt me instead." You slurred your words, in complete tears as you continued to block his way to the door. Each time he looked down at your puffy crying face, gripping his arms tightly, reluctant on letting him go, the more he was against the idea of leaving in the first place. He didn't want to hurt you like this. He didn't want to fucking hurt you at all.
He just felt nauseous as you continued to throw yourself at him to take out his anger on. "Jesus fucking..."
You couldn't compare to his strength, but you put up a battle when trying not to get him to leave. Only to end up crying against the door while he pulled out of the driveway. He told you food was in the fridge, knowing it would be hard for you to eat knowing the man that helped you give life was going to die tonight.
You didn't know what to feel as it all came crashing down on you all at once. You felt so fucking useless and your stomach hurt. Miguel wouldn't answer your calls and knew he would be your only source of comfort once he came back. Maybe that was his plan all along.
Idk how i feel about this one lol. I was confident going in and nowww idk how to end it. but anyways.

hey so how do you think the rottmnt boys would deal with their s/o mutating into a beautiful yet strong creature like a non poisonous snake but sharp teeth or tiger. It was painful. S/o isn’t going to be in their right mind for the next day. If the boys attempt to touch s/o or move them, s/o bites if snake/whacks if tiger, at their boyfriends arm as a warning and lets go while hissing. A day passes and s/o feels like themselves again yet they don’t remember what happened and they go find their boyfriend and are very confused and panicky, but they’re normal mentally again, “what happened? You’re the last thing I remember. Why am I a tiger/snake? What happened to your arm?” ?
I know this took forever im so sorryyy
Raph:
Realistically, I think that in the moment of the mutation, Raph would handle it the best. His years as leader really gave him the ability to compartmentalize, and to stay calm in the moment, and break down later. His focus would be on getting you out of the situation, and to somewhere safe enough to address what had happened. He would be at a loss for what to do. He is the brawn, and while he does have strategy skills, I don't think something as technical as a mutation would really be something in his skillset. He doesn't know how to guide you through it, all he can do it stay nearby and do his best to stay calm while trying to comfort you with sweet words, spoken softly. After you change, and are still in a foggy, confused mental state fear and anger, he will still not leave you. Even if you attack him. All I can imagine is him holding you close to him until you physically calm down, even if you're still not calm mentally, much lie how you would with a small, scared animal. You can scratch, bite, and attack him all you want, but he loves you, and will not leave you, no matter what. When you come to once more, right in your mind, but very different physically, I would imagine that you'd panic again, afraid. At least until you realize that you're being cradled by Raph, who is sitting against a wall, not fully asleep but having a little doze. His eyes would snap open upon feeling you squirm, and he would begin questioning and checking on you rapid-fire. You'd barely be able to get a word out. When he realized that you had no memory since before mutating, he would explain the situation as delicately as possible. Would honestly be great at caring for and supporting you post mutation. He's super sweet and understanding, and if anything, I think he might be a bit more comfortable dating a mutant because it would make him feel a bit less monstrous. Though I think he would love you regardless.
Leo:
Portals you out as soon as you begin mutating. I think that Leo would want to be close and hold you and comfort you while you turn, but when you begin attacking him, I think he would resign himself to sitting at the other end of the room from you, or observing through a portal in case you need anything. His heart would break, he is the type to want to sacrifice himself so that his loved ones never have to suffer anything ever in their entire lives, and the fact that he couldn't save you hurts him deeply. I think that once you were back to being yourself, he would be super attentive, but would try to seem a bit more chill than he was feeling. He would answer all your questions seriously, but would throw in a ton of jokes, to try to lighten the mood. This would be borderline infuriating, as it would likely be to such a degree that you would feel as though he wasn't taking you seriously. You would need to express this to him, but once you did, he would tone it down and be much more serious. I think that aside from a slight learning curve, your new form wouldn't really change your relationship.
Donnie:
Donnie would be full fledged panicking. Leo or Raph would probably have to slap him, and yell orders for him to snap out of it and get you to safety. He would bring you to his lab so that he could best monitor and assist you during your mutation. He would do his best to say physically with you, but once you start attacking, he would probably have his bots move you to a more secure part of the lab, where he would be safe behind some kind of glass while still being able to speak to and watch you. When you were once again in your right mind, he would explain everything that had occurred, and would give you time to process that before going over options with you. If you were fine to continue on as a mutant, it wouldn't change the way that he views you, but if you wanted to be human again, he would start working on a retro-mutagen. All in all I think that he would love you regardless, but would follow whatever course of action you wanted and would make you feel best about yourself.
