“sirius stop.” remus grumbled quietly to the raven haired boy next to him.

they were in the great hall for lunch and sirius decided now of all times would be perfect to test his limits.

his hand immediately fled remus’ thigh and relaxed in his own lap.

“good boy.” remus muttered ever so quietly. the blush on sirius’ face shown as thought remus had announced it to all of the hall.

it was later, after classes, and remus stared blankly at his essay.

all he had written was the title and his name and with a stressed sigh, he banged his head on the table and left it there in defeat.

sirius perked up from his four-poster and set down the magazine he was half-heartedly reading. he slipped out of bed and trotted over to remus.

he laid his hands on remus’ shoulders and worked at a few knots as he saw the stress spill from his posture.

remus sank back into sirius’ hold and looked up at him, a glint in his eye that told sirius everything he needed to know.

“it’s not due for another two weeks, my love. come to bed okay? we can go to the library tomorrow.”

remus nodded thankfully and stood up, almost falling onto sirius as he gave out. sirius heaved him into bed and he heard a whine from remus.

“what baby?” he said with a small smiled.

“cuddle.” he mumbled with a pout.

“in a minute, hold on. you can be patient, yeah?” he whispered.

so there remus sat.

sirius brought over his own pajama pants and jumper and laid them at remus’ feet. he sat next to remus.

“arms up moony.” he hummed and remus obeyed.

there was something so special about remus giving himself to sirius like this and he’d never take it for granted.

he slipped off remus’ clothes from the day and slipped him into the red and black plaid pants.

“jumper or no jumper?” he asked as he let a finger travel gingerly down remus’ pale scarred chest.

“jumper,” he mumbled like a petulant child who had done wrong.

sirius nodded and slipped the black jumper over his head.

remus’ showed him a toothy grin and laid down, facing sirius.

sirius blew out the candle that had been providing them with light and laid down aswell, facing remus.

“moons, s’okay not to get this essay done. you have so much time and you just need a break okay?” he said with a gently smile and a peck to the forehead.

remus just nodded and basked in the affection sleepily. sirius reached into his pant pocket and slipped out a cigarette and grabbed his wand from the nightstand.

“do you want one baby?” he offered.

he didn’t get a response. he looked over and saw remus dozing off.

he smiled to himself and lit his cigarette with his wand. the smoke filled the air as he slipped an arm around remus and whispered “i love you.”

he could’ve swore he saw remus’ mouth twitch upwards.

There's a moment of time where, post Wolfstar getting together, Regulus is genuinely concerned that James isn't as supportive as they come off, and they're only acting supportive around wolfstar because they're James' best friends. The reason Regulus thinks that? It's because they got so awkward around him since Reg came out and the only logical explanation is that they're uncomfortable around gay people.

Regulus later finds out that James was being awkward around him after he came out was because they had a massive crush on him and learning that Regulus doesn't like women meant that they might have a chance.

My God. When I read this part, I cried. And the following scenario came to mind in my mind. Yandere romantic James (who is either out of feelings for Lily or has never been in love) or yan romantic Remus and Black female reader and Yandere romantic Barty or yan rom Evan or yan rom Rebastian. Both brothers are supported by their friends. Walburga is delighted to have so many pure-blood candidates (supported and preferred by Regulus' friends) for her daughter. So what would happen now?

It would be all out war. Yan!bro!Regulus and Yan!romantic!Barty/Evan are out to bring the Reader back home, Barty and Evan want their betrothed back and with them. Meanwhile, Yan!bro!Sirius and Yan!romantic!James/Remus aren’t letting the Reader go, James and Remus especially aren’t going to lose their wife, let alone just hand her away.

Honestly, the whole situation may just lead to the Reader leaving everyone behind and going off on their own which in turn would have both sides hunting her down to get her back with their respective side. For her own protection and safety, as well as for the yanderes’ own sanity.

Remus has read about everybook he could get his hands on as a kid.

He loved Jane Austen. Alan Poe on October nights. Agatha Christie when he needed something to get trapped in.

He could be seen reading between classes and pranks. At night under the warm light of the lamp on his nighstand until the sun was about to come out.

But if someone were to ask his favorite book, Remus would only have one answer: you.

You and your smile and your rambles. You and the way you always have a kind word for him. Your trips to see him after a full moon just to give him some chocolate and spend time with him.

He was so consumed by you. He loved learning all the details no one payed atention to. He knew how you liked your coffee, because every morning he was busy looking at you, feeling happy that he is gets to share his lifetime with such a sweet creature.

One day, he’d get the courage to official ask you out. But it’s an unspoken rule that you are his and he is yours. It’s all about the stolen glances, the way he’d kiss your forehead, or the way he’d cuddle you when you are in need of some loving. The drunken kisses would sober up into holding hands and showing the world he had finally won.

Until then, you’d have to keep your secret too: that of course, if someone were to ask you, Remus is your favourite book too.

Wolfstar Micro Fic - @wolfstarmicrofic prompt: Amnesia - 750 Words

Remus sits on the sofa, staring at the bookshelf in front of him, wonders how many of those books are his, which ones he’s read or was excited to read. This is his life now. When he isn’t at doctors appointments, he’s staring at photos or objects pondering what history he has attached to them. This is his house, he knows logically it is - he’s in photos on the walls, his name is on the mail - but it feels like he’s living in a stranger's body. There are days he’d rather stay in hospital just to escape the relentless notion that he's an imposter in someone else life.

He can feel Sirius’ eyes on him, watching in anticipation, like any moment things will snap back into place. “Lily found some more photos,” Sirius says, “we could go through them today?” Remus nods, although he doesn’t feel like he has much choice in the matter. “Is she coming round?” “Yeah, but she won’t stay.” He likes Lily. He suspects they used to be very close, but it feels juvenile to ask outright if they’re best friends. Despite that, he slips back into the bedroom shortly after she arrives, feigning tiredness. It’s not a complete lie - he’s tired a lot which is supposedly a good sign that his brain is trying to fix itself. But he’s also tired of all the visitors - friends of theirs trying to help who don’t how to act around him and Remus is constantly running through a mental rolodex trying to find names for faces. 

“The Potters send their love,” Sirius says while laying the photos from Lily across the living room floor. Remus scans them, trying to identify them. It’s one of the memory exercises they keep pushing in therapy that feels more like a child’s game. He picks up a photo of a couple and a baby and Sirius gives him a hopeful smile. Remus doesn’t explain that he picked it because it’s the only picture of a redhead. When he first picked out a photo of his parents Sirius had been so excited, only to be crumble a moment later when Remus explained it was a simple process of elimination - they just shared the most resemblance with him. Remus stopped explaining his logic after that, save people the disappointment. 

Nights are the worst. When he’d first come home, he refused to share a bed so Sirius insisted on taking the guest room. Not that it made a difference to Remus, he feels just as much a guest in the master bedroom as he would the guestroom. Sirius loiters outside his room when they say goodnight, the same way he does every night, like he’s half expecting Remus to invite him in. “Why are you being so patient with me?” Sirius looks at him with soft, sad eyes. “Because you’re my Moony,” he says like it’s the most obvious thing in the world. The nickname feels foreign. Sirius says it with such revance but it means nothing to Remus. “I’m not though, I might never be him again.” “You will-” “-You don’t know that,” Remus cuts him off. “People keep saying that, like everything will suddenly fix itself, but you have no idea. No one does.” Sirius swallows, dropping in gaze. Remus might feel bad for snapping if he wasn’t so sick of everyone’s blind optimism. Sirius takes Remus’ hands, gently runs his thumb over his knuckles. “It doesn’t matter,” he says quietly. “You’ll always be my Moony, even if you don’t see it. Even if you never see it.” 

Remus curls up in the middle of an empty bed, a thousand thoughts bouncing around his head as he replays Sirius’ words. He thinks about how alone he is, open and exposed in a room that feels too hollow. He thinks about how his therapist told him to embrace the unknown, push through the fear.

The floor is cold under his bare feet as he pads across the landing and slips into the guest room. The curtains are wide open, illuminating the room with moonlight which he's immensely grateful for. It doesn’t feel as claustrophobic. Sirius has his back to him, chest rising and falling with steady breaths. Remus doesn’t slip under the covers, this alone is a big enough step, but he does lie down next Sirius, close enough that they’re almost touching. Remus takes a deep breath to steady himself, lets himself adjust to the moment. Tentatively, he lets his eyes slip closed.

James accidentally coming out to all his friends by singing Just Lose It by Eminem.

He's at a Gryffindor party drunk and dancing on a table when he pulls one of the Prewett brothers onto the table with him while singing the 'boy shake that ass' part while slowly groping the brother (he's enjoying it, getting just as handsy as James).

His friends approached him about it the next morning, but after that, they only bring it up during drinking games.

If you want marauders ideas I kinda have one. Black! Reader who writes to her older brother telling him their mother has arranged a marriage for her as soon as she graduates. Basically the marauders protecting reader from whoever tries to claim her hand. Could be platonic or romantic, it's completely up to you and your pretty brain. <3

Sirius is already so absolutely extremely overprotective over his sister so this would put him into overdrive. Like this man is pulling out all the stops to save his sister from enduring a life she doesn’t want.

I kind of imagine this taking place after Sirius ran away to the Potter’s. He’s not right there in person anymore back home but he’s still around at school and he for sure is gonna be on a warpath when it comes to all the other purebloods. He and the other Marauders aren’t going to give any of the Reader’s possible suitors any peace whatsoever while he’s still around. Sirius will make it his life’s goal to make all the possible suitors’ lives absolute hell while he still can. Even after school, this man would still be on a warpath to ruin them all.

First things first though, I could Sirius very much trying to get his sister away from their mother and out of Grimmauld Place altogether. He’d try to get them to come to the Potter’s too or maybe they even show up on their own at some point (probably when it gets closer to their arranged marriage). If that were the case then he for sure is going to do everything in his power to protect the Reader.

The other Marauders would for sure help Sirius whether he asked them too or not, especially seeing how much of an issue the whole situation is, particularly for Sirius given he can’t fathom his precious sister being in such an overall terrible situation that they have absolutely no autonomy in whatsoever and could most likely be treated horribly in.

If James, Remus, or Peter had a thing for his sister, I think Sirius would be perfectly fine with it so long as it could get his sister out of this situation. He’d especially prefer James or Remus over Peter cause he at least knows that they can keep his sister safe and protected in his stead then he believes Peter ever really could. Either way, I could see them devising a plan to get his sister and take her far away to elope with the respective Marauder, whether it’s before or right after she graduates it’s happening fast. If they wait until the Reader graduates then the second her feet hit the platform Sirius and the boys got her in their grasp and they’re gone.

I could also very well see Sirius desperately looking to James to marry his sister, like a marriage of convenience. Whether James is romantic or platonic in the situation. Like, Sirius would be on his fucking knees begging James to save his sister. He couldn’t care less if James still wanted to be with Lily that is if that’s still what he wants after marrying the Reader but he just needs to stay married to the Reader in the process. Like, the two can go their separate ways and be with whoever they want but they need to keep the marriage to ensure the Black family doesn’t try to take the Reader back into their web. But I could see James going through with it but being conflicted. Sure he still has his love for Lily but he also feels the need to do right by the Reader and be a husband to them, even if they’re more than okay with the situation just being merely out of convenience. Maybe James started out yandere platonic for the Reader but after marrying and playing house with them for a time he starts to grow romantic towards them.

In the case of the Reader marrying Remus, I could see him being conflicted too but it’s more from the fact of marrying his best friend’s sister, not to mention his being a werewolf. Not only does he feel awkward about the situation (whether he was romantic for the Reader already or not) but he also feels like he’s damned them to a life of being with a monster even if they agreed that either of them could be with whoever they wanted to be or that they didn’t need to treat this like an actual marriage. Even though there is that agreement, Remus would still very much take his vows very seriously. He never thought he’d be married to anyone, let alone his best friend’s sister, so he wants to do right by them and act like a husband. He wants to give them a good experience even if it isn’t exactly a complete marriage between the two. But eventually Remus does start to really fall into the role of being a husband and he quite enjoys it, overall he enjoys being with the Reader most. So, it would be really hard for him if they weren’t treating the marriage as it was, like he was, even just pretending and playing their part the smallest bit.

Imagine if the Reader viewed their ‘marriage’ to James or Remus as just being solely a way out of their family and the unwanted betrothal they were thrown into and eventually getting into a relationship of their own outside of the marriage, meanwhile James/Remus have become romantic!yandere for them. They would feel so betrayed, having taken their vows seriously and wanting to do right by the Reader in the beginning only to genuinely fall for them in the end and they’re just out ‘cheating’ on them so openly and unapologetically.

Also, imagine if the person the Reader was supposed to marry was actually yandere for them too. Like, maybe it was Barty Crouch Jr, or Evan Rosier, or (Merlin forbid) Rabastan Lestrange. And they were actively trying to get their darling back 👀. Not to mention yan!bro!Regulus who is on the other side of things. Especially regarding Barty and Evan, maybe Regulus was the one who brought it up to Walburga about the arranged marriage to begin with cause he knew how his best friend(s) felt about his sister and he trusted them enough to be with her. Plus, if their parents were going to marry the Reader off anyway, particularly for blood purity reasons, then he’d rather it be to someone he could trust with his beloved sister than anyone else.
