gwen stacy's hugs are rare, so when they do happen, they mean something. the first time she hugs you is after a long day at the spider society, both of you are exhausted and just about ready to fall asleep. her hand is in yours as she walks you home, the moon shining brightly in the night sky, turning bits and pieces of the puddle-covered sidewalk white. the rain begins to pour harder, and soon enough, your synchronized walks turn into a pitter-patter of sprints as fast as the rain, and both of you are laughing hard barely seeing two steps ahead of you. when she finally does make it to your house, she wraps her arms around you, holding you tightly. at first, you're not exactly sure why she's hugging you, because she usually needs a reason to, but you roll along with it anyway. with hair dripping and clothes soaked, she pulls away and waves goodbye. you discover a few years later that the hug came from her realizing for the first time that she was in love you.

she absolutely loves that she's not the only one that gets louder the closer she gets to someone! knowing that you're there to ramble and talk just as much as she wants to is a feeling of comfort, so the conversations are limitless. she'll be there to listen to your favorite memories, and even if some are more painful than others, she'll be the one holding you and nodding encouragingly as you speak. she's also completely fine with you getting distracted or easily lost, because she really doesn't see that as much of a problem, knowing she was the same growing up. she's there to guide you through every obstacle of your life if you let her.

while she might not know the names of your favorite games or books or interests, she can and she totally will get onboard with them!! in regards to krav maga, if she doesn't know what it is at first, she'll ask you countless questions about it, and then go on a youtube binge to further study what it is.

when you face difficulties, whether it be dysphoria (i hc gwen as trans because yes obviously she would be so supportive) or familial issues or whatever it is, she'll keep her voice low and calm. the moment she sees you back away or even a flash of sadness on your face, she'll take the hint. gwen will make sure that you feel safe around her if it's the last thing she does. she'll hold you and press gentle kisses to your forehead, because she wants you to know that you're deserving of love just as you are.

Reader refused to sleep in her and Spencer’s apartment when he was arrested. She let their son and daughter sleep over at JJ’s house. She slept on the couch in Aaron’s office- when she slept. When they finally got him out they only made it to their SUV before they made up for lost time.

TLDR; Please don't just copy/paste the same requests and send them to a bunch of different fanfiction writers.

Okay so I don't really know how to go about saying this because I don't want to shame anyone or make them feel bad. Especially not people who have followed me for a long time and admire my writing.

When I first read this, I thought that it seemed oddly familiar to me.

So I tried looking in the Spencer x reader tags and I couldn't see the fic I had previously scrolled by.

So I copy/pasted this prompt into google, and I found a fic that I know was from a different author (because the one I scrolled by had a Spencer pfp and this one had a Steve Harrington pfp) that was from all the way back in 2021. And they had even answered a different request like one of the ones you copy/pasted to me.

Also: I don't have the links to those exact fics because I was just randomly scrolling through the mobile browser tumblr on my phone (and like I said, one of them I couldn't find but I know I saw it the other day) - but if you have seen those fics or know those writers, please go show their fics some love! I bet they worked hard on those requests and they deserve a lot of love for their fics.

I haven't stated this anywhere in my request rules, because I never felt the need to, but there is a certain etiquette around sending requests to fanfiction writers. And because I am old school fandom, I thought that I would never have to outright explain that kind of etiquette. Stuff like: a request is a request, not an order. Don't hound an author to get your requests finished. A request is more like a collaboration on an idea than it is a command to action.

And I think one of the etiquette bits around sending requests is that you shouldn't send the same exact requests word for word to a bunch of different fanfiction writers because it seems rude.

When you send someone a req, it's because you're saying "hey, I really like your writing! I like your style, the way you write these characters. I have an idea in my head for this fandom and because I admire your talent, I think that you could do it best." It's like going to a bakery because you think that they have the best chocolate chip cookies. A lot of places make chocolate chip cookies, but that one bakery makes them in a way that you think is the best.

Sending the exact same copy/pasted request to multiple writers sends multiple covert messages.

1) The person who did it the first time didn't do it up to your standards.

I have had requests filled before. It's rare that I request fanfiction, but when I have and someone has answered it, it has made me feel insanely special. And I treasure those fics (unfortunately a lot of the ones I reqd are on dead platforms now) and I go back and reread them over and over again.

So when you send a request to someone and they actually take the time to write out a whole fic answering it, and then you copy/paste that exact same request to another fanfic author - you are basically saying that the first person (in this case, at least two people with ^^^ this prompt) didn't do it correctly. That their fanfiction for your request wasn't up to your standards and you need to see it done again by someone else in a different way.

If that wasn't the case, you would simply treasure the original fanfiction that answered the request, reread it over and over again, and then go back to that original author with more different requests when they have their reqs open.

2) You are saying that you are too impatient to wait for your request to be finished.

I have seen times where someone copy/pastes the same request in different authors inboxes within the same week, basically just seeing who will finish the fanfiction first. Which is ... very annoying. If you enjoy an author's work and respect their time, then you will wait patiently for them to finish writing your request.

For me personally - I don't finish all requests. Which brings me to my third point.

3) Write it yourself.

If you are so passionate about this idea that you feel the need to see it written by different fanfiction authors multiple times, then please, write it yourself. All the details will be satisfying and exactly as you imagined them in your head.

There has been multiple times in my life when I have had a good idea for a fic and I have been so tired, and I considered taking that idea to another writer's inbox, but I knew that they wouldn't write it exactly as it was in my head - because HELLO - we are all individual artists with our own unique visions. So I just wrote it myself and wrote all the details as I imagined them and I was so much happier.

And that's how I grew my talent as a fic writer. By practicing writing my own ideas instead of just waiting for someone else to feed me the fanfiction I want. And now, whenever I want a hyper specific fanfiction that is not in the tags - I just write it.

But like PLEASE understand that fanfiction writers are not "content creators". We are not some big corporations like Netflix that has so much time and energy to pour into making this stuff - we are human. And it hurts to see you just feeding the exact same ideas to everyone else, because it means you don't value our work as individuals.

(Idk what I'm gonna do with the rest of the stuff in my inbox that you obviously sent. One of them really appealed me so idk.)

Rundown: It’s christmas party at Nevermore where the parents are invited. And of course, your ex happens to be there…

Warnings: mentions of smut, lot of fluff, bisexual!morticia, lesbian!reader,

Hoping in that no one would notice you, you kept decorating the courtyard. There was lot of screaming because the kids you were teaching were excited about Christmas. They were waiting for their parents who were supposed to start arriving in few hours. You just had to finish the decorating and then the party could start.

Hanging the decorations aesthetically, you tried to not put them all onto the same place and keep the right distance between them, to not make it seem too much. You took few steps back from the place where you put the decoration if it was alright. And that was when you bumped into someone.

“I apologize-“ you turned around with a “sorry” on your tongue, but when you were looking into opposite direction, all you could see were so many people around you, adults and kids, teachers and the headmistress. She smiled at you, giving you a signal it looked really well and you just kept decorating, standing back at the same spot.

While you were decorating, you were a little curious. Who did you bump into? Why did they disappear immediately after showing up? You had no idea what was happening around you and you just closed your eyes, trying to keep that Christmas spirit which has already arrived to Nevermore.

“I would like to announce that in five minutes there will be caroling in the hall in front of the Christmas tree. Every parent is welcome at the caroling, if you have a special request, please don’t hesitate and inform Miss Thornhill,” you heard Larissa say and you breathed out. Everyone would disappear in few minutes. Less eyes on you.

As Larissa said this, all of the kids started rushing in her direction since she was standing in the doors. She stepped away and let the kids flow inside of the building while pulling their parents, telling them what did they want to request. You just breathed out quietly. Now you had time to finish what you were doing.

As if it was written in your future, as soon as silence took over in the yard, since there were no kids who would be screaming, you started to sweat. You didn’t have much more time to finish it. Decided to wipe your hands later, you took another decoration and tried to hang it high above your head. You had to stand on your toes and you were still too small to reach the spot you wanted to.

A pair of soft hands appeared on your waist. You almost got an heart attack. The yard was supposed to be empty. As soon as you looked at the person who took you by your waist, your eyes widened. Feeling your heart beat faster, you looked into deep black eyes and you couldn’t say a single word to her. The elegant woman who just swayed her way over to you was standing there, holding your waist.

“Let me help you,” she said, her voice deep. You turned around and swallowed really hardly. This couldn’t be happening. This wasn’t her. Your ex wasn’t helping you with decorating at the moment. This was a huge misunderstanding.

However, Morticia was faster than you and a lot stronger than you thought. She really easily lifted you into the air and with that she helped you to reach the spot you needed to reach. You put there a decoration and as soon as it was hanging there on it’s own, you were put down again.

“Thank you,” you said only, without looking at Morticia. This was so embarrassing. Why did it have to be all of those people, your ex? Why couldn’t it be… Larissa? For example? You were friends with her at least.

You walked over to the other spot. Standing on the stone which looked really dangerous, you were holding yourself on another one to keep yourself safe, while adjusting the bells which were a part of the decoration too. When you thought it was okay, you hung yourself on only one hand.

“Careful,” you heard her deep voice for the second time that day and with one bigger step, she was right next to you, her hand behind your lower back, not touching you. She was just making sure you wouldn’t fall.

“Thank you Morticia. But there is not need to worry about me this much,” you said, not keeping your sharp tongue in your mouth. Morticia took a breath to say something but changed her mind as soon as you walked away from her.

Moments later, Morticia was nowhere to find. You were almost done and all you were waiting for were the students and the guests returning to the tables. The witches had put their spells onto the yard so it wasn’t cold at all. You put on the last decoration and then you jumped off the hard stone you used again. Checking your hard work, you were satisfied and kept looking at it. Until there wasn’t a soft brush on your shoulder.

“Miss Y/l/n, the dinner is ready,” Larissa said with a smile at your ear. She had always addressed her employees by their last name when there were people around. You just nodded your head and smiled at her, checking the decorations for the last time before you would leave for the dinner.

As you were walking between the tables, you were searching for a free one. Every table had six chairs around and if your eyes were not lying to you, there was no free chair. Until you didn’t turn to the left.

Of course there was a free chair. Three of them. And you closed your eyes when you saw the back of the black haired elegant woman who had her two kids sitting opposite to her.

Sighing, you made your way over to their table. When you were close enough, you cleared your throat, announcing your presence what made Morticia look at you immediately.

“Hello Y/n- it’s a pleasure to see you again,” Morticia was playing nice and you just curled the corners of your mouth up a little.

“I was wondering if this seat is free. It seems to be full everywhere else,” you said and showed her with your hand. Morticia didn’t even bother to look around and check if you were saying the truth.

“Of course it is. Take whichever seat you’d like, darling.” She said with a huge smile on her face. As you decided to sit next to her since you didn’t want to bother the kids where there was no school, the plate and cutlery appeared in front of you. All Larissa’s work. You looked to the doors and she was sitting there, smiling at you. Closing your eyes you knew what was her intention so you turned your back to her and sat down, right next to Morticia.

“So… how do you like it here?” You asked, actually asking only from Morticia. You knew that Wednesday wouldn’t answer you and Pugsley didn’t know what was going on in this school. Your question was aimed at Morticia. “Is it different than before? When you were studying here?”

“Of course it is. It didn’t change much but it changed. In a good way I think,” Morticia admitted and you smiled softly.

Your meal continued in silence. For you it was enough to be in her presence and Morticia didn’t want to be too much in front of kids. So both of you were quietly eating, chewing on the meal.

One of Morticia’s hand, actually that one which was closer to you dropped onto the bench you were sitting on. You tried to not give it too much attention, but it was hard when Morticia softly covered your knee with her cold palm. You didn’t know what to do or how to react, so you stayed quiet.

Continuing in eating you started realizing that Morticia’s hand was slowly, but still was making its way up your thigh. When she was in the halfway, she stopped. You swallowed hardly and then she made her way down with her hand on your thigh. Morticia knew what was she doing. And when her hand travelled to tease your inner thighs-

“I- I apologize. I need to use a bathroom,” you said as soon as you realized that this shouldn’t have happened. You weren’t planning on this and Morticia didn’t even like that neither. You left everything like it was and you just walked to the doors where Larissa had been standing.

Walking faster and faster, you made it to the toilets. Closing the doors but not locking them, you walked over to the sinks. What was that woman doing to you? Oh god- that couldn’t be really happening-

Morticia opened the doors of the restrooms and looked inside. As she saw you, she walked closer and took a breath.

“I am so sorry- I am sorry Y/n, I don’t know-“

You didn’t know what you were doing but you had enough of her apologies. You pressed your lips against hers to shut the dark haired woman up. You could feel the surprise because of how the whole woman tensed, but as you were few second in the kiss, she rested herself and you let her lead you.

“Please-“ you begged as you kissed her again, “come to my room. Please.”

“Of- course-“ Morticia agreed immediately and you wanted to smile over her reaction but you couldn’t get your mouth off hers.

While you were both kissing, you made your way to the right doors. Sliding inside unseen, both of you were only in your bras already. Your hands were sliding on the soft surface of Morticia’s pale body and her sold hands were scanning your every curve and every single spot where she could place a kiss. Soon enough, you were pushed into the bed, falling onto your back and bending your legs in your knees.

“Tell me love, what is it you desire the most?”

↳ i have the right to refuse any request if i feel overloaded, it goes against what i am willing to write, or is disrespectful to me or the idols in question.

↳ i also have the right to delete requests, though i try to write every request that is sent in to me.

↳ writing is only my hobby. please don't act entitled that your request should get done in a timely sense. i'm not writing as a job, but merely as something fun and enjoyable for me. i choose what requests i want to write and complete them at my own pace. i ask that you please respect that when requesting.

↳ what i will write: fluff, angst, any/most AU's (eg. soulmates, highschool, assassin), pregnancy/dad fics (i personally love them as long as they are sfw).

↳ what i will not write: smut/any nsfw content, sexual assault, love triangles (it is possible that i could write them, but i don't like them), yandere, fics featuring multiple idols in a romantic light (eg. a love triangle with soobin and yeonjun, a felix fic where han is the ex bf of y/n, etc), poly relationships, male reader, m/m or f/f, member x member ships, female idols or female characters in kdramas (eg. do hana - uncanny counter, chaewon - le sserafim). for all of the above: i do not feel like i am good at writing any of these kinds of fics, nor am i very comfortable writing them. if you are looking for fics like these, i am not the blog for you, sorry.

↳ who i will write for: if i have a masterlist for a group, then i am writing for them and will accept requests for that group! soloists and actors are compiled under the misc masterlist (you are always free to ask who i write for, i know it's confusing since i write for so many people).

↳ format: full fics, drabbles, timestamps, fake texts, headcanons (sometimes). ↳ reactions/headcanons: i have struggled with writing headcanons in the past, especially group headcanons since thinking of a different scenario for many members is really difficult. but i think i've started to get a little more comfortable with it, and i'm definitely good with writing headcanons for 1 member at a time and possibly some subunits or small groups. because of this, i will welcome headcanon requests and try to complete them, but... if you request for a group i'm not really keeping up with (ex. enhypen, stray kids, bts). it'll probably be much more difficult to complete the request. please be understanding with headcanon requests, as i'm really not too confident writing them just yet!!

↳ lastly, please be kind and respectful while requesting, but most importantly have fun!! i love writing for people and i hope my writing will make your day a bit better <3

I only take 4 requests when all slots are free. If you request while the four spots are already filled your request will be put on hold until i finish my other two. You will be notified when I begin writing your request.

Request status: Closed

It should take me about 1-2 weeks to complete your request depending on how busy I am in that week. If your request is expected to take longer, I will let you know beforehand of the delay. I may message you throughout the week in my process of writing, just to confirm that I have written about the correct topic you have requested. If you request a one-shot for a character I have no knowledge of/don’t know well then I request that you give me some information on them to help make them as in character as possible.

To clear any confusion you may have, once you make a request I will let you know of your place in my waitlist. Once I have posted my previous request then you will know that I have begun yours.
