Bruce, sighed: can't wait for Constantine and zatanna to fix this... Alfred where's the leash? *Leaves*

Dick, gives Barry, Wally back: I will make sure nobody hurts him again.

Barry: aw, that's so sweet of you.

A few hours later

Bruce: I told you to watch him, how could you let him get away!?

Barry: he said he went to the bathroom, how was i supposed to know he would leave, the time I knew him he listened in Central!

Wally, fussy because people are yelling:

Bruce: where could he have gone to, all his usual hits are protected.

Barry: ... Oh my god, OH MY GOD HE'S AFTER RUDY!

Bruce: Rudy?

Barry, grabbing his things: Wally's shitty bio dad, he read Canary's file on Wally and asked me questions.

Cass: I also saw him grabbed Barry's phone and called up Iris.

Thinking about the CFAU and marveling at how much Danny and Jason care for one another. Does anybody else figure out that Danny is going to kill the Joker, or is that knowledge Jason exclusive? I can't see Danny being close enough to any other Batfam member to disclose his plans, but I wonder if he drops hints. They're a family of paranoid detectives. I'd be surprised if they don't figure out Danny has a PURPOSE for being in Gotham at some point. Whether Danny's able to disguise it as wanting to be closer to Jason or not is another burning question.

Its def Red Hood exclusive! You're right in that Danny isn't close enough to disclose his revenge plot to any of the batfam members -- hell, not even Sam and Tucker know his true motives for returning to Gotham, and they're his best friends right after Jason! And Red Hood knows only because Danny accidentally slipped up ;].

I do also think that the Waynes kinda think something might be up with Danny -- at least Dick and/or Bruce might since they're the only ones who actually know him beyond brief mentions of him. Tim knows about him due to his stalking, but doesn't really know him -- and Danny plans to keep a healthy, friendly distance from the family so he can carry out his plans.

It's not that he holds any dislike towards them -- quite the opposite. He appreciates what they do for Gotham and recognizes the hard work that goes into keeping their Rogues Gallery at bay (even if he is bitter about Joker, but there's an obvious reason for that) -- but, well. He knows they're the vigilantes, he doesn't want to risk them sniffing out his murder plot before he can even go through with it.

Luckily for him he can excuse any distance he puts between them as just being busy with life and trying to settle in, and they're not close enough to him anymore to find it suspicious. I do think they figure out he's back in Gotham for a reason, Danny's not going to exactly hide the fact that he's back to find some kind of closure -- but what that closure is?

I think the only person who might suspect something sinister going on would be Bruce, who saw the sinking rage in Danny's eyes at the funeral -- it was part of the reason he didn't tell him who killed Jason (beyond secret identity reasons). But that depends on whether or not Danny reveals some of his hand, and the fact that he was still holding onto that rage (somewhat unwillingly) all this time.

Roting Jasmine Flowers and Dead Robins

[Anger management Crime Lord! Jason and a Dark/dark grey Jazz] [warning, murder plots, mentioned character deaths, and other things]

We all know what happened to Danny when he lost everything.

But what if this time it's Jazz.

Jazz who lost everything at the hands of the GIW when she was on a college tour while she was in Gotham, suffering and grieving from the news her parents (who finally started to choose both Danny and her over their projects and are in the know of Danny's halfa status), Sam and Tucker, Dani (who was finally family) and her baby brother, the boy she basically raised had died.

The GIW wants their hands on Fenton Tech but seeing how Jazz is the sole Fenton alive and everything gets put under her name they decide to pull some strings in Gotham, using her breakdown in front of the Dean of the college she had been visiting when the news came to her, to get her sent to Arkham for her 'breakdown'

Once unlawfully placed in Arkham the GIW visit and try blackmail her into signing over rights to her parents inventions and tech and it would be a shame that her family and friends death effected her to the point she'll never be able to leave Arkham because she lost her mind. Basically this alarms Jazz and with some more words she gets the hints that her family and Danny's friends death wasn't an accident.

And the GIW was the reason why.

In anger Jazz goes to attack but is held back my guards and the GIW use this to get Jazz signed as 'insane' and 'unstable' and with some bribing and blackmail gets her tossed completely into Arkham.

....While in Arkham, her rage builds and bubbles.

She wants them dead. All of them. She wants every single one of them, all the GIW, to die by her hands.

But first she needs to prepare. She needs to plan. She can't go in a blind rage.

No.

She was going to make them pay for everything.

She'll make them regret taking everything from her. And tossing her in Arkham was such a foolish thing to do. There are many she can learn from here, even if they don't teach her anything she has been good at observing.

A few months later, almost a year, rumors of the newest Crime Alley Crime Lord being sent to Arkham was the fastest rumor being spread in the place.

And teal eyes watched, curiously and gleaming with questions from her cell as the guards dragged a young man around her age to his own cell.

Teal meets blue and for a second both their eyes flashed green.

And for a moment Jazz felt the longing familiar feel of a fellow limenal present.

And Jason feels not alone anymore.

dust with a fucked up savior complex save me dust with a fucked up savior complex SAVE ME!!!! he's literally sooo savior complex coded. he killed his underground to "save" everyone and stop the human from killing them. he thinks that it's better that he does the murdering instead of the human because he has better intentions. he's sad at the beginning (rightfully so) but savior complex dust really gets so much cooler when you add in the fact that dust eventually started to LIKE killing his underground 😭😭 like just..... imagine a manic dust who's gone mad going around claiming he's helping everyone with what he's doing when he's really,,,, not. soo cool.,,, (like dude how are you SAVING people if they don't exist after you've killed the person who was killing them. there is nobody to be safe but yourself anymore) (can you tell this was inspired by the one comic of dust killing his papyrus and saying "it was better if i did it" or something)

but also also on the other hand,,,,, revenge fueled dust??? he's gotten SO bitter from the repeated resets and genos that he's genuinely bitter enough to risk it all to stop the human. he doesn't have pure intentions in this one. dust doesn't claim he's saving anybody with what he's doing murdering them all. he KNOWS it's bad and wrong and hypocritical but he does it anyways because he wants to not only stop the human but to make them suffer. he purposely wants them to keep coming back after killing them just so he can kill them over and over and over and have them experience a fragment of the suffering he did with having all of his friends and family killed. but i think a revenge fueled dust (in contrast to savior complex dust) would be a lot cooler if he still felt shitty for killing everyone. it's painful to do but hate is stronger than love and dust's hate for the human is MUCH stronger than his love for the underground atp

Au where morro isn’t a good guy and he’s not a bad guy, but rather a secret third thing: manager at a local supermarket.

Okay so hear me out. Some random villain or whoever does like Day of the Departed… 2!! And brings them all back like alive n shit Yknow the drill. Then morro wakes up, finds out he’s been resurrected to try to kill the ninja for like the third time in his existence, so he just. Fucks off. Right in the middle of the bad guy explaining his big bad plot to everyone. Just walks out of the building never to be seen again. The villains don’t do anything because who fucking cares. They’ve already got an army of disgruntled dead people so they just go to the next phase. Morro isn’t even going to warn the ninja or anything. The ninja don’t even know Morro is back. Morro does not care enough to tell them. This plot thread does not gain a resolution or acknowledgment until a season and a half later.

Cut to the next big baddie doing some shit, and the ninja need to go shopping to create the mystical maguffin item that will defeat them or whatever. So they’re shopping and they’re antsy and one of them gets snippy with a part time worker and all of a sudden. A fucking gust of wind so strong one of them almost falls over manifests. They looks to what caused it and there he is. Morro fucking Wu dressed in store uniform with the title of ‘Manager’ printed clearly on his badge.

And meanwhile all of the ninja are having their own separate meltdowns over this revelation that one of their greatest enemies is alive and in ninjago city, meanwhile Morro is just like “If you keep being rude to the staff I’ll have to ask you to leave.”

Okay! That one's Catching Stars and Comet's masterfic. Here's some of the Steph chapter rewrite, since the original chapter blew up along with my laptop etc. etc.

“Hi,” the stranger behind her whispers. It takes Steph a second to place the familiarity she can hear under the wet, strained voice.

Oh. Steph knows who it is. It’s Robin.

Robin’s always so…chatty. There’s something to him, something larger than life; whatever makes him a little hero instead of a boy in a cape. Whatever makes him a kid-size threat, rather than…

…Well. A boy in a cape.

Now he just sounds like any other boy. Croaky. Overwrought. But Robin knows her, and he knows how to hide any part of his human self behind his colorful shell.

It’s notable that he’s standing behind her, and that she can’t move to see him.

Steph hears Robin sniff. There’s a moment of silence, where Steph imagines he might be wiping his nose or his eyes. “You won’t be able to move for another half hour,” Robin admits to her quietly.

Steph freaking knew it.

“I…” Robin tries again. She hears him sigh. “Black Mask is dead. I crushed his head like a grape.”

Stephanie’s heart stops.

He—he just—

“It was so easy,” Robin confesses, and Stephanie wants to throw up. “Do you know how much force it takes to nail those flips? I’d always calculated it in my head, but I never tried it. I nailed him dead on in an instant. It took no effort at all.”

Whump Week - Day 4

This one was SO fun omg thank you @week-of-whump!! Dw too much about being unfamiliar with this risen demon au just know that the war mages are dead now and all have grudges. c: Shout out to @whumpr for inspiring this one bc I WAS gonna do something fluffy but this sounded like way more fun.

Luis rubbed his eyes, suddenly awake. The room was dark and quiet. His wife was sleeping peacefully next to him.

Nothing was lurking in the corners. No rings of white peered out from their halfway-open closet. He sat up. There were no fingers curling around the white frame of the door.

He'd been seeing things lately.

He needed some water. Something in Luis' gut told him to suck it up and go back to sleep--it said that something was in his house. He got up anyway.

Luis padded through the familiar, dark hall of his home and into the warm glow of the kitchen. The dim light above their sink wrapped him in safety as he drank long and slow. The winter chill of the water lanced through his head--a brain freeze. It grounded him, soothed the instinctive dread.

There was nothing to be afraid of.

This was his home, the space he shared with his wife. He'd lived in this house ever since they had first gotten married. He'd fixed leaks and renovated it, repaired it after bad storms, if it needed doing then he'd done it. He knew their house like he knew the scars on his palms.

There was nothing to be afraid of.

Luis washed the glass and put it away. He ran his hand under the tap and washed his face, breathing deeper as the cold pulled the rest of his tension from his shoulders. "I am being silly."

When Luis turned back to the hall, he stopped.

A tall, slender figure stood in front of his bedroom door. Its platinum blond hair hung down past its shoulders and glowed in the darkness. Two white rings shone out at him. They met his eyes. He knew that shape.

It started to walk closer.

It led its gait with its shoulders, prowling forward. He knew that walk. His war mages walked like that in their gear. Dimitri had walked like that even when he wasn't in his gear.

Dimitri had walked like that when he found Luis trying to hide Laredo's body. He hadn't stopped when Luis had ordered him to stand down. He'd pounced, instead, face contorted in fury as he flung himself into a fight he couldn't win.

Luis still remembered how Dimitri had sobbed and called him a monster.

Dimitri smiled, coming into the light. "Luis." He purred, sharp teeth glinting. "It's been a while."

Blood dripped down from Dimitri's throat, the hole that Luis had burned through him gaping and taunting him. Deep red splattered into the hardwood floor with every step Dimitri took. He had two sets of horns now, and feathery wings that filled the hallway. A long, thin tail swished, the pointed tip shivering happily, like he was a freshly-fed cat.

There was nothing to be afraid of. Luis knew that stress could cause hallucinations. Hallucinations couldn't hurt him.

Luis smiled. "It has, Dimitri." He met Dimitri's eyes, remembering how many times he'd seen that same sharpened bloodlust glittering on his most violent war mage's face.

Dimitri's hand raised to Luis' face, hovering less than an inch from his skin. He smelled like burned flesh. Blood dripped from his mouth. He was still in the clothes he'd been wearing when Luis killed him. Short shorts, a crop top, some fishnets and heels. It had been Dimitri's day off. He and Laredo had had something planned, some date. "You know, you were always very handsome, Luis."

"That's not appropriate to say to me, Dimitri." Luis said. It was habit. Dimitri and Laredo had always liked to jokingly flirt. An odd little game the three of them had played, usually to test Luis' mood.

"I know." Dimitri said, leaning closer. Their noses were almost touching. "But I'm not your soldier anymore. And I think you deserve to hear this." Dimitri's voice was soft.

Luis backed up. Dimitri followed. He matched Luis' pace, up until his back hit a wall. Brown eyes with their pupils ringed in white bored into Luis' own. Luis couldn't look away.

This was a very vivid hallucination.

Dimitri's hand came to rest on Luis' face. His thumb pressed into his cheek. Luis froze. Dimitri was warm. He was solid. His hand was smooth. He felt the points of Dimitri's new claws pressing against his skin.

This was not a hallucination. Dimitri was dead. Dimitri was right there, cornering Luis against a wall in his own home.

"Please." The word slipped out before Luis could stop himself. "I don't want to die."

Dimitri laughed. It was soft and quiet and the worst noise Luis had ever heard in his life. He wondered how many times Dimitri had cornered someone like this on the field. He wondered how many unexpectedly quick interrogations had wound up with the person not even an inch from Dimitri, like this, aware that their life could end in an instant.

Was this how Dimitri had felt? How Laredo, or Izan, or Manuel, or Mariano had felt? Had their hearts raced too quickly? Had the world closed in until it was just them and Luis?

"Oh, Luis. Sir. I'm not going to kill you." Dimitri's thumb pressed in harder against Luis' cheek. The point of his nail sank into Luis' skin. "I won't even hurt you. Not really. I just want to see you like this."

Luis flinched as Dimitri dragged his thumb along Luis' cheekbone. The claw sliced him open as easily as if Dimitri had pulled his favorite knife on Luis. Luis shook.

"It's a shame you didn't ever go on missions with us." Dimitri continued. "We never really got to see you on the field. All battle-worn." Brown, inhuman eyes followed a drop of blood as it escaped the cut, clinging to Luis' face, following the sharp curve of his chin and down his neck. "Because this is a good look on you. You have pretty blood."

Luis blinked.

Dimitri was gone.

The blood had disappeared from the floor. His face still stung. When Luis brought his hand up to his own face, he felt his blood smear.

Luis washed his face. He got another cup of water. He got a bandage from their first aid kit.

Luis could still smell cooking flesh and the metallic tang of his own blood when he slipped back underneath the blankets. His wife snuggled up to him again, oblivious to it all. He felt like he was vibrating.

As Luis was drifting off again, mind racing, he could've sworn he heard Dimitri laugh from the hallway.

Danganronpa X Total drama Gen 1 AU Facts/Notes

I made this AU cause I wanted to try my take on the Total drama X Danganronpa stuff!!!

Notes:

1 - The Gen 1 Killing game takes place after The Reboots 2nd Season and the cast are Adults.

2 - Chris and Chef are not the mascots this time around as in this AU they are members of the killing game cast.

3 - The Mascot of this AU killing game is something original this time around instead of Mono-Chris! (Why cannot people do something more creative like Jeez?!?!)

4 - There will be 26 Participants in this Killing game AU. (22 being the original cast plus the 2 new characters in World tour and Chris and Chef)

5 - The Killing game will be set in a Simulation Version of the Gen 1 island. (But the characters won’t know that.)

6 - Disventure camp characters also exist in this AU due to them having the same art style.

Ah fuck it whatever

There's something I love about the new Consequences AU and how it compares to the AUs and music it's come from.

Where things like Roxy's old kingdom being destroyed and her being almost drowned as a baby are metaphorical, there's a lot of things that strangely aren't. Roxy specifically denying the gods and the powers that be is something she does in most of my interpretations of her. The gods in most situations, isn't a spooky green rabbit, it's the people in the Fazbear boardroom making the world's worst decisions ever. To the animatronics, they are the gods. There's no higher authority than them, and they can have them destroyed without ever having met them, at just a moment's notice, for seemingly no reason.

Bonnie once believing in the gods and turning against them works like it does for most of the animatronics too. Even just questioning Fazbear isn't something many of them have been able to do, but all of them will eventually learn to. The more they learn through Roxy, despite what they might have known before, the more they realise what kind of company they've been forced to be a part of.

And Roxy's attitude towards these gods is always the same. She won't pretend to be nice to people she knows don't care about her. She won't put any extra effort into maintaining social etiquette if there's no point, if there's nothing for her to gain from it. Fazbear CEOs and board members have hurt her so much already, she doesn't give a flying shit about them, she's not wasting her time on them unless she absolutely has to. In this universe, the same can be said about the gods. She doesn't care for them and they don't care about her, so why bother? They've told like six people to assassinate her already, why would she choose to listen to them?

Roxy's relationship with the Minis and DJ? That's the same as it is across the board with most of the AUs I have. The attempt on Roxy's life when she's barely been born is shown differently in the new AU, but is still the same concept. Some things have been shifted around, such as the specific motivations, but not by a lot. I suppose Bonnie's dad in this fills the roll of Vanessa if Vanessa was also actually Mimic? He doesn't have an exact match here in terms of scale, but the comparisons are there.

The whole kingdom being destroyed, Roxy finding out that that's where she originally came from, that she was the newborn prince with a wholeass family she's never known, all lines up so well with everything else too. The pizzeria, scrapped storage, the old attractions there before her racetrack, it's all gone and she knew nothing about it. She's once again found out the truth in possibly the worst way imagineable, and she doesn't know what to do with this information, but honestly, who would?

The biggest difference there is that in this new AU, Roxy has the choice of what to do. In what's basically canon to the game, Roxy doesn't have that choice and likely never will. Where she's had to sacrifice her Raceway and Salon, sacrifice the vast majority of her life and her purpose for the safety of everyone around her, in this universe, she can choose not to. She sacrifices certainty this time, something she can regain as time goes on but in any other universe, there is never any certainty to get back. There will always be a Mimic threat and she can't get any of her old life back until it's dead and gone. She has to pay a price to keep Mimic contained, and while the Afton/Glitchtrap gods scramble to convince her otherwise, the Roxy in this new AU does have the choice whether she pays it or not.

But she will always still have to deal with the consequences of those with power. Every single time. And every single time so far, her entire existence is the consequence for them. Her life overall has not been the result of her own choices, but rather, the choices of people that never cared about her to begin with...

At least in this new universe she has a good childhood to fall back on and a cool ass horsie. And can actually do something about this shit. She can't normally do that :(

I mean in general Nagant will be somewhere in the whole series of fics but tbh their stories do cross paths on occasion.
