Connor heard the door of the apartment slam, an eerie silence filling the space. His stomach churned at the reason for the door slamming, the eerie silence. They fought. For the first time since they started dating, since she moved in. He stepped over the line she had clearly set. The words replaying in his mind.

“He’s my dad! I can’t let him die! Not even in prison I can’t let him die!” “Dammit Sarah! He’s been dying since we last saw him! You know that! Let him go!” “No. I can’t. I’ll be at Molly’s when you’re willing to talk this out like an adult.”

He got up off the couch, and went to the kitchen, pouring himself a drink. He ran a hand over his face, downed his drink and sat at the counter for a moment. He saw a note with her handwriting, an apology on the bright sticky note. The written I <3 U was what made him put on his jacket, grab his keys, and drive to Molly’s.

He spotted her at the bar, and sat next to her. “Sarah. I’m sorry.” “I know or else you wouldn’t be here. I’m sorry too.” “I…” “Stop, let me explain. I thought with him being in prison it would be easier to digest what he had done and that I wouldn’t care, but I care. I don’t know if I’ll ever stop. But you’re right, I need to let him go. He’s been getting in my head lately. I’ll stop the visits, and follow whatever the doctors and nurses think is best for him.” She says, tears filling her eyes.

Connor brings her close, and doesn’t care that people are staring. “Sarah the visits don’t have to stop completely. You don’t have to do that. I do agree with following what the docs and nurses say is best. How about the visits happen every other week or once a month? And I come with.” He says, running a hand through her curly hair, feeling her nod against his chest. “Yeah I can work with that.” She responds with a sniffle, wiping the tears off her face.

“How about we go home and talk about this more, without prying eyes and listening ears?” “That sounds good.” Good. I’ll pay and then we can go. Did you drive or catch a cab?” “Caught a cab.” Sarah replies, as they both stand, her fingers interlocking in his as they walk out of the bar.

Connor and the Brat {Part 15}

A/N: Really I just wanted Ava as a girlfriend/best friend for myself before she turned crazy which is why she’s so affectionate towards Ravenna.

“Maybe he was just trying to get off a your interrupted him.” Sarah and Brat both stared at Ava is disbelief at what she had just said. Brat had been retelling the story of the previous night and how Connor was acting weird right before she left with Ava. Both women were extremely upset to hear that Connor had left Brat alone all night and returned with Samantha Zanetti a former surgeon at Med that Connor had dated. And while both women were sure Connor probably had feelings for Brat and was using Sam to get over her Sarah didn’t think he would act on it while Brat was an IOP while Ava was practically encouraging him to.

“And why would he be doing that I’m crazy remember? I’m pretty sure the crazy/hot scale doesn’t work in my favor.” Ava left her spot beside Sarah and moved next to Brat gently caressing her face. When Ava first acted like this with her Brat found it odd because it was obvious the older woman had feelings for Sarah but Ava explained she held love for a lot of people and while she would never have sex with anyone else she did enjoy kissing them. Brat wasn’t blind and obviously Ava was very pretty and cared for her so she was happy to return the affection. She was sure Connor would have a heart attack if he knew though.

“Ravenna you are so bright, and talented, and beautiful. Anyone who tells you otherwise is just a waste of space.” Sarah had gotten up to get more wine and Ava leaned in placing a delicate kiss on the younger woman’s shoulder. Brat smiled at her and kissed her back leaning against her to get more comfortable taking a rather large gulp from her wine glass.

“You really think that’s what Connor was doing when I asked him to bring me here?” Ava smirked down at her.

“Connor basically laid a claim to you on the first day that you couldn’t be anyone’s favorite besides his. I’m sure he was butthurt that you wanted to come over.” Brat frowned as she remembered that Connor did seem rather upset she wanted to spend time with Ava but she as allowed to have friends other than him. “Plus he’s already told me he had a sex dream about you.” OF COURSE Ava just added that on non chalantly at the end and Brat just about choked on her own wine and heard Sarah quite possibly dying in the kitchen.

“Like he said the actual words he had a sex dream about me?”

“Well no, but that morning he was late he got hard every time your name was mentioned so it wasn’t hard to put the two together.” Brat bit her bottom lip intrigued by this new information whole Sarah just pretended not to hear it because ethically she would have to report it to Dr. Charles but morally she was also rooting for her two new friends to end up together.

“So what am I supposed to do?” Ava was quiet for a moment.

“We’ll make him realize how much he needs you around. Take my phone and text him telling him you’re spending the night.” Oh that was a sure fire way to make him upset but Ava was his friend first so maybe she knew what she was doing. Brat could feel her heart in her stomach as Ava’s phone buzzed in her hands.

Connor- I’m picking you up at 7am

Oh he was definitely not happy, bit Brat couldn’t tell if he was angry with her or sad that she was choosing to spend time with Ava over him. Ava smiled when she saw another message from Connor and pointed at it.

Connor- Tell mommy dearest she’s going to have to make a custody schedule

Brat didn’t even know how to respond but luckily Ava did and she quickly ran to her room. Brat was wondering what Ava could have said that would make her leave like she was terrified of Brats response but she read it and felt her cheeks heat up.

Brat (Ava)- Goodnight daddy xx

Sarah was alone on the rooftop, staring at the skyline. She had had a long shift and wanted a moment alone before she went home. Not that she could call her living space home, she wasn’t there enough anymore. She was at Connor’s place to the point that he gave her a key, and she felt he would ask her to move in.

She was lost in her thoughts and didn’t hear him come up next to her. She jumps as she feels an arm wrap around her shoulder. “Connor!” “Sarah,” he replies with a wry grin. She smacks his arm with her free arm that wasn’t wrapped around his back.

“Long day?” “Very,” she replies as she leans into his embrace and takes a deep breath. He does the same and looks at her, blue eyes more intense than she’s ever seen. “Sarah?” “Hmm?” “Kiss me.” He says, voice low, and he sounds out of breath.

She stared at him wide-eyed, mouth open. “What?” “Kiss me. We’ve been together how long, and you’re basically living with me.” “Not here. Not in public, but at home or even when we get to the car, I’ll kiss you.” “Sounds like a plan. And I wouldn’t mind if you moved in permanently.” He whispers as the pair head inside.

Fear: the feeling running through her veins as Dr. Latham reveals the batch she’d used to take Cornelius’s life was in fact traceable to her.

Cowardice: the act of staring at her partners one last time in the Hybrid OR Connor has divested so much of his time and energy to perfect, as she takes a scalpel to her carotid artery.

Madness: the feeling of relief she feels when Connor runs to her slumped over body to stem the bleeding and try to save the woman he loves while Sarah tears about the OR, ready to help perform surgery despite years of psychiatry at a second’s notice.

Day 2 of the Advent Writing Challenge!

“I think that’d be more romantic if you weren’t leaving.” You tell Jay in a watery tone. Jay shoulders his backpack more as he leans in to you. His lips, chapped from the first flurries of the coming winter, pressed to your skin. Your eyes flutter close as you lean into the gentle touch and wrap your arms around him. 

“This has nothing to do with you.” Jay repeats the words from last the night before last, when he told you of his plans. You scoff softly so he cups your chin. The callouses from the way he held his former service weapon for years, though rough are a familiar feeling. 

“I’m serious. I’m nothing but happy with you and our relationship. I’m just not happy with who I’m becoming. I need to go find myself again.” He explains. You nod with a sigh. You understood that, you really did. But...

“But our relationship started right after I transferred to intelligence last year.” You had been in Dante Torres’ class in the academy. That’s actually how you met Jay. Through Torres. Then both of you had been pulled from the academy to intelligence.  

You don’t want to call Jay your boyfriend. To be perfectly honest, you’re not sure what you were to each other with your whirlwind romance. You never put a label on it and it seemed silly now, since he’s leaving. But Jay, whatever his is to you looks confused. You sigh. This is why you didn’t want to bring this up. Especially when you just came here to say goodbye. 

“Our relationship started in the middle of you becoming someone you don’t like. So what does that say for us? Our relationship. Was it all a lie, fake? A bad memory of someone you don’t like. Is that what you’ll see when you see me?”

Jay gaze narrows as he suddenly understands what you’re implying. You take a step back and he reaches out to grab your arm. “Wait,” 

But a mechanical voice calling out that his flight is now boarding interrupts him. He looks torn as he glances back and forth between you and the gate. So you make the choice for him as you pull your arm out of his grasp. 

“Go,” you tell him firmly, “You don’t want to miss your flight.” 

He nods and well, that is that. Your relationship with Jay Halstead is over and it was fun while it lasted. You turn to walk away. But you’re surprised to feel your arm being grabbed again. Then you’re being against Jay’s chest and his chapped lips are pressed against yours. 

It’s a desperate kiss. When Jay pulls away, his breath is labored. His voice is rough and low in your ear, “Being with you has been one of the very few bright spots in my life this last year. Don’t ever doubt that. I’ll call you when I can okay?”

You nod. Then Jay pulls away completely. His hand lingers on yours till he steps too far away to hold anymore. He offers you a small smile, before he spins on his heel and disappears in the airport crowd.

Doctor Visit

Relationship: Jay Halstead, Will Halstead and Disabled  fem!reader Halstead sibling, along with Manstead if you squint.

Summary: Set after 7x02 of Chicago Fire, you are taken to Chicago Med after trying to help your father get Ronnie out of the apartment during a massive fire. And see your oldest brother there.

Read Part 1 

Soon you arrive at Med and Sylvie and the other paramedic-Emily, as she had introduced herself- is wheeling you in, calling out your stats, vitals, and why you’re there. Jay trailing after you. You see him wave to someone, but you can’t see who it is. Someone directs the gurney holding you into a treatment room. A female doctor with long brown hair moves into the room. She introduces herself as Dr. Manning. They transfer you to the bed, rolling the backboard out from underneath you.

“Nat, you may want to loop in neurology with this case.” The familiar red hair catches your attention before your eyes settle on Will’s face. You sigh. Your red-headed brother. 

“Do you want to take this case, Dr. Halstead?” The woman-Nat asks him and you can even hear the edge in her voice. Your eyes find Jay, who’s standing just beyond Will’s shoulders. Your eyebrows are drawn upward, but your older brother shakes his head. Your oldest brother just shakes his own head and responds in a calm voice, “Love to, but I can’t.”

The doctor scoffs, taking your blood pressure. “And why is that?”

“She’s my baby sister. And you know the hospital’s policy about treating family.” Will explains, walking into the small room. He takes your left hand, uncurling it as Jay had done in the ambulance. Only instead of dropping it as your older brother had done, Will starts to fidget with it. It was something he had done since you were a baby, so your left hand wouldn’t curl up as much. You try to take your hand back with a glare at him, but he isn’t letting you. He continues to play with your hand. The information seems to make Dr. Manning falter in her movements. She glances up from where she’s listening to your heart with her stethoscope.

“Why do I need to loop in neurology?” She asks. At this you pull your oxygen mask down, “I have cerebral palsy. Diagnosed when I was a baby. It’s a neurological condition. But smoke inhalation and a cut on my forehead won’t affect that.” 

“You don’t know that,” Jay steps into the treatment room with his arms folded over his chest, “Nat, humor him? Please,” 

You roll your eyes, knowing that Jay only stepped in because he thought a fight was brewing between you and Will. “You know, I’m twenty-three years old. I can make my own medical decisions.”

You say this because not many people with cerebral palsy can advocate for themselves. Not because they weren’t capable mentally, but because they couldn’t actually move. A good portion of people with cerebral palsy were confined to a wheelchair and could barely move their mouths. 

“Don’t be stubborn. When was the last time you saw your neurologist? If it was recently, then I’ll drop it.” Will tells you and you feel yourself frown at your oldest brother as you say nothing. Not willing to let him win. He stares back, not willing to back down either. Stubbornness is something you had in common with both of your brothers. 

You hear Jay sigh loudly. He’s pinching the bridge of his nose when you finally break the staring contest with Will. 

“I know you two have your own problems to work through, but can you please try not to kill each other right now?” He asks, trying to stop an already brewing fight. 

His question is met with silence and he looks over your head. Out of the corner of your eye, you see Dr. Manning shift uncomfortably. You forgot she was even there. He sighs, “Natalie. I’m sorry to leave you with these two, but I’m going to go check on Dad.”

Then he walks away calling out for a Dr. Choi, who you assume is your father’s doctor. Dr. Manning moves again so now she’s standing in between you and Will. “Can I ask our neurology department for a quick consult?” 

Will is already starting to protest, but your doctor holds up a hand. “Both of your older brothers have made their opinion clear. But as you said, you’re twenty-three and coherent and lucid enough to make your own decisions so the decision is ultimately up to you.” 

You immediately want to refuse. But then you catch the look in your eldest brother’s eye. You may be mad and hurt by Will. You may even not be talking to him right now. But he is still your brother and right now he is worried about you. You sigh, “You can ask neurology for a consult.”

Then you turn your head, locking eyes with Will. He has your dad’s eyes while you and Jay share your mother’s. You shove a finger against his chest, “But I want it on record that I think it’ll be useless.” 

“It’s on record,” 

“Great. I’ll page Dr. Abrams. Will, can I speak to you for a second?” Dr. Manning asks and Will nods with a sigh before he squeezes your left foot gently. “I’ll be back, okay?” 

And then he follows your doctor out the door. 

“So is she the reason you have a specialty in neurology?” Natalie asks as she glances down at her tablet and when they pass the main desk, she picks up a clipboard and hands it to him. “You want to go ahead and get started filling out her information for her? I’m assuming you know most of it.”

“I know there’s no cure. And even if there was, I don’t think she’d even take it. It’s a part of her by now. But I wanted to know. More about it. What I and Jay could do to help improve her life. I actually wrote my dissertation on cerebral palsy.” 

“And me not knowing you had a sister when I was your fiance aside, why did it seem like she would rather do anything than talk to you?” Natalie questions him. 

Will sighs heavily running a hand through his hair, “Probably because I haven’t been the best big brother since my mom died. Instead of coming home when she passed, I ran and continued running until a few years ago. And even then I still didn't know how to approach her. Or even now.”

Relationship: Jay Halstead x Female Reader

Summary: You and Jay had been dancing around each other since you decided to stay in Chicago. But after a rough case, Jay finally makes a move.

Molly’s was one of your favorite places to be in Chicago. It was the first place you stopped in after making the trip from Texas. Well, you didn’t exactly go from Texas straight to Chicago. You had decided you were in a rut in Texas and you had a lot of vacation time. So you thought maybe a cross-country road trip might help. But then you fell in love with the Windy City and it quickly became your last stop. 

Much to your parents’ dislike and dismay. Although that may just be you completely uprooted your life in the lone state to move to Chicago. But it just felt right.

Flash forward six months later and in that time you met Christopher Herrmann, who offered you a job as a  steady bartender when he found out you were staying.

“Come on,” you remember him saying, “I know you have a fancy degree in writing and that you’re an author. (You weren’t an author. Oh you aspired to be one, but right now you were merely a freelance editor) But it’d really be helping me out. You see, all of our bartenders tend to be firefighters, and being a firefighter bar, that isn’t a problem. But I would like to have at least one bartender who isn’t in the CFD. Plus, with the stories we could tell you, you’d have plenty of material for any book you would write.”

So you took the job and so far, had loved every minute of it. The only drawback was the phone call you had with your parents every other month about you moving back to the Lone Star state.

“Mom, Mom, Mom. Mom, please-I’m surrounded by firefighters, cops, and doctors every night. I’m friends with a good portion of those people. I’m probably a lot safer here in the city with the number of first responders I know than I would be back home…Mom, I can’t do this with you right now. I’m at work. Yeah, I’ll call you back later. Love you too.” 

“She still hasn’t come around huh?” You looked up at the voice to see Jay sitting on the barstool right in front of you now. You grin at him. (It’s only slightly sarcastic) You and the police detective have been dancing around your feelings for a little while now. Around here, your southern accent was always easy to hear. But you thickened it up a little bit with your next words. 

 “Detective Halstead, and here I was beginning to think that you forgot about little ole me because you haven’t been in here in a while.” 

Jay’s eyes fill with amusement. In one of your many flirtatious conversations, he mentioned how he found your Texan accent cute. 

“Sorry, undercover assignment. It ended yesterday. Thought I’d come see my favorite person in the whole world.”

You feel heat rush to your cheeks at his words. Neither of you has ever been so bold with each other. Sure you both hinted to each other. But it never went farther than that. You grabbed a beer and popped the top off, placing it in front of him. 

“Rough case?” You ask, leaning your elbows on the bar counter. 

“How’d you guess?”

“You’re flirting with me. But not like we usually do.” 

He took a swig of beer, and you watched as his neck bobbed with the movement. It was very distracting. Jay set the bottle down, “Well maybe this case opened my eyes to a few things.” 

“Oh yeah?” You asked hesitantly. 

He nodded, “Like maybe instead of dancing around each other, you and I should go on an actual date.”

Grinning, you teased him in a soft voice, “Why Detective Halstead are you trying to get fresh with me?” 

“As fresh as you can get with Scrabble,” He answered with a teasing smile and you raised your eyebrow at him. Jay chuckled, “An inside joke that I’m realizing I have with just myself now.” 

“Oh, scrabble is an euphemism. Well, let’s see you how you play Go Fish before we move on to Scrabble,” You laughed and you could swear that Jay’s blue eyes sparkled. 

“What are you doing tomorrow?” 

“I’m guessing playing Go Fish with you,” You laughed.

My Top Ships of 2017

We all do it. You watch a show and automatically root for two people to be together whether it’s a “slow burn,” the introduction of a new character this season or between two people that barely share a plot line. It makes you continue to tune in episode after episode. Here is a list of my personal favorite ships for this year, 2017, from some of my favorite TV shows/series.

12. New Girl--Nick and Jess 

Just about that time when your DVR recording was about to cut off (because you know mine did right before they kissed) Nick and Jess finally met each other in the elevator of their apartment building. I’ve always really loved the two of them together and as the show’s fate hung in the balance I was ECSTATIC that they readdressed their feelings in the finale. I’m super excited it was picked up for another season (the last one), but I would have been perfectly happy with this ending for the couple. 

11. Bates Motel--Dylan and Emma

This couple is still one of my favorite reasons to watch Bates Motel. Yes, the show was a great re-imagining of a young Norman Bates and I loved the new take on familiar characters, but I also loved the new characters including Dylan and Emma. After season 2 I thought the two would be cute together. They had only a few story lines or rather scenes together, but my shipping brain was at it again. And then something magical happened! It’s like the writers could hear my thoughts and THEY GOT TOGETHER! And you know what? They were SUPER, BEYOND ADORABLE TOGETHER. In its final season there was a time jump and this happened:

Needless to say I was over the moon. I’m still shocked they actually became a couple because I thought it would only be in my head. Love their ending and the family unit they created with their baby girl. 

10. Anne with an E--Anne and Gilbert

The Netflix original series brought a bit of a darker spin on the lovable tale by L.M. Montgomery, but just like all of the previous adaptations of Anne of Green Gables this version did a fantastic job showing Anne and Gilbert’s relationship. While Gilbert isn’t introduced in the first episode of this series, I eagerly awaited seeing him on the screen and I was not disappointed in his interactions with Anne; from the spelling bee to the classic Anne breaking the slate over his head. Several characters could tell the chemistry between these two (including one of my favorite characters Jerry). Thank goodness they’ll be a 2nd season so we can see this relationship progress.

9. Chicago Med--Rhodes and Reese  

Okay, so they might not ACTUALLY be together...yet (get on that writers!), but this year I discovered the ship between Dr. Rhodes and Dr. Reese from NBC’s Chicago Med. And I didn’t realize how BIG the fandom is! It was all thanks to season 2′s episode: Monday Mourning:

There’s just something about these 2 that is just so great! Their chemistry--wow! They just don’t get enough scenes together. In the current 3rd season (that’s unfortunately only been 4 episodes before the hiatus) they’ve had a few moments together (aka conversations), but it’s not enough. They keep getting set up with different potential love interests, when the writers should notice they have a good thing going already! Okay, rant over. 

8. Victoria--Victoria and Albert

After I finished binge-watching the first season of Masterpiece’s Victoria a few weeks ago, I was so sad there wasn’t more to watch. I needed more Victoria and Albert in my life. (Good thing the next season airs here in the US in a few weeks!) Going in, I didn’t know much about Queen Victoria’s reign, but was interested to learn more. I was pleasantly surprised with how addicted I got to the show, especially once Albert was introduced. I love how much they love and care for each other and know that rocky roads could be ahead, but am excited to watch the journey unfold. 

7. Grimm--Nick and Adalind  

Another surprise pairing that I grew to LOVE! In Grimm’s second to last season, Adalind (ex-hexenbeast, turned human, then back--I think I got that right) was pregnant with Nick’s child. This “romantic” pairing could have been weird, but writers made it work and personally I fell in love with it. [It probably helped that Juliet was turning evil and then became Eve. Man if you listened to this and had no idea of the show it would all sound crazy.] The two made a great little family with son Kelly and I was shocked when Adalind’s daughter was fine with Nick. I really enjoyed these two together as the show came to a close earlier this year. Another piece of proof that sometimes two characters can be placed together after so many seasons and really work. But how could you not root for them with this adorable baby? 

6. Reign--Bash and Mary

Reign was one of my first binge-watches of the year. So, I know this couple might not [SPOILERS] end up together, but for me they were one of my TOP ships. Mary and Bash have a big relationship during the first half of season one and as much as I knew she’d wind up with Francis (the unfortunate ‘perks’ of watching an old show) I could only hope for all the Mash moments I could get. Mary was a hot commodity on the show and I think her and Bash were one of the best pairings. I’m happy with the way their story-line ended and liked Bash’s alluded help in season 4. Even though I would have loved to see him back on screen. This will forever be one of my favorite moments:

5. Arrow---Oliver and Felicity

After a roller coaster ride of a relationship, Oliver and Felicity are OFFICIALLY MARRIED!!! (I guess you can say twice?) It’s been a long time coming and I know not everyone is a fan of the IT girl and the emerald archer together, but I have liked the two of them since day 1. It was one of my shipping moments of ‘this probably will never happen, but a girl can dream.’ I watched that season 2 finale when Oliver tells Felicity Slade thinks he has the woman that I love, a DOZEN times! I took any moment I could get. While there’s moments I didn’t love on this long journey, I am happy to see the two of them together and I love Felicity and William’s relationship. I’m happy that this year’s crossover finally made it official. We deserve it!

4. The Vampire Diaries---Caroline and Klaus

KLAROLINE!!! I have been a fan of this ship for SOOO LONG! And just like any good ship you take anything you can get. This letter to Caroline at the end of the series finale of the Vampire Diaries is JUST what fans wanted. (Plus, we had a few great moments in the season too; from Caroline bringing her girls down to see Klaus, and I still think about their phone call, which might be from the previous season.) My fingers are crossed and double crossed for the final season of the Originals that we might see Caroline (maybe more than once?? Is that asking too much?) I mean Hope is at the school and even though Klaus can’t see her we must find some sort of loop hole. We’ll just have to tune in and watch!

3. Supergirl--Kara and Mon-El

Before the heartbreaking season 2 finale and Mon-El’s return this season (MARRIED!), we saw the growth of an extremely cute couple filled with bickering, banter, and plenty of couch sessions. I loved seeing Mon-El adapt to Earth customs and for Kara step up as a mentor. Early on I felt the pull between these two because their chemistry was fantastic (as shown by their real life off screen relationship). I am so happy I got the 2nd season on DVD for Christmas to relive all these great moments:

2. The 100--Bellamy and Clarke

Another ship I have shipped since episode 1. I’ve taken every little glance, conversation, touch. Being a Bellarke fan has taught you to not take anything for granted. (Especially when you have heard from the creator that they don’t intend for these two to end up together. Come on!) But season 4 gave us fans hope. They had several playback worthy moments and that finale! WOW! It’s the end of the world and he’s making jokes with her. They are both touching each other! (I still have chills just thinking about it!!) I can’t wait for this new season even though I know Bellamy is going to be with someone because they HATE us. In the meantime here are some big moments from last season!

AND THE NUMBER 1????

I wouldn’t be living up to this page if I didn’t make them my number 1 because they and we deserve it!

1. Teen Wolf--Stiles and Lydia

It was a LONG time coming, but our pick was endgame, just like we predicted all along! Because the seasons were broken up I’m going to refer to season 6 as a whole (we deserved a lot more Stydia in the series finale, but that’s a rant for another day....) Despite, Dylan O’Brien not being around for more episodes due to his filming schedule, I think they did a nice job including him in the part A season. Sure, when I was watching it live I was pissed, but watching the episodes back I appreciate the moments we did get Stiles and how they included him in the season. Lydia and Stiles are one of my favorite couples of all times. I love their development, the chemistry between the two actors and strive to create characters who have such a powerful friendship and relationship. Here are some of the best moments from this year.

So, that’s my top 12 ships of 2017! A lot of my top couples were from shows that ended in 2017, so I can’t wait to see what new ones I discover in 2018. Let me know if you have suggestions!

Connor and the Brat {Part 14}

Connor realized two things when he woke up the next morning. There stood Brat dancing adorably to soft playing music in an oversized t shirt and he assumed were sleep shorts underneath while she made both their plates. He’s guessing he was quieter than he originally thought because Brat let out a startled screech and nearly dropped both their plates when she turned back around.

“I’m sorry, I was thinking I would have to wake you up. You drank a lot last night and I didn’t know how long you would sleep.” Connor glanced at the clock and saw it was half past 11 which if he had gone to bed whenever Beat slammed the door in his face he would have gotten about eight and a half hours but Connor knew it was well last 4 am before he fell asleep because he was trying to think of how to apologize to Brat.

“I didn’t fall asleep right away, you were upset with me.” He watched as Brat played with the bottom of her tshirt nervously before sitting next to him at the breakfast bar in the kitchen.

“I’m sorry Connor, I shouldn’t have gotten mad about Sam. I guess I just wasn’t as okay with being alone as I thought and was mad you weren’t back when you said you would be.” Which was perfectly reasonable he had all but abandoned her on her first day home so he could fuck Sam in hope it would curb the hunger he had for Brat.

“No Brat I never should have left you alone. And I definitely had no business with Sam, she’s a flame of the past anyways.” He watched as Brat’s body seemed to lose all tension and he was glad he was forgiven even though she hadn’t said it yet.

“I was thinking maybe I could go see Ava today and you could do whatever it is you normally do on the weekends. I don’t want to be a bother to you.” Connor frowned at this he knew Ava would visit Brat in the ward but he had assumed Brat had seen her mainly because she wanted company and was mad at him, he didn’t realize that maybe Brat cared about Ava as much as Ava did her.

“You’re not a bother to me, but Ava is your friend and you should go and spend time with her.” Connor watched as Brats face lit up and she flung her arms around his neck in a hug. Annnd she wasn’t wearing a bra Connor realized as she pressed her body to his.

“I’m going to get ready.” Brat announced as she jumped up from the table. Listen Connor really did try not to stare at her ass as she ran back into her room but he’s a man, how much could he really help it. He groaned as he felt his cock stir in his pants and he knew he would have to be quiet if Brat was in the house. He got up from his uneaten breakfast and walked towards his room making sure to lock the door behind him.
