But Elain could, even though she was apparently IMMENSELY traumatized by being thrown into some water and being made young and strong and even MORE gorgeous for literal eternity (let me just gather a tear for you, love)… not to mention she blushes at the mere mention of a menstrual cycle.

Shipping Gwyn with Az because she’s a strong warrior woman means that we hate femininity.

But deciding Elain will be a spy with Az only means that she’s strong and capable, but she’ll definitely remain a delicate feminine flower, at the same time.

Gwyn mentioning the Dread Trove to Merrill to try to get more information is “sus”.

But Elain sneaking about town where nobody knows exactly what she’s doing is nothing worth mentioning.

When Gwynriel shippers reference the bonus chapter, it doesn’t mean anything because it’s not actually a “real” chapter.

When Elriel shippers reference the bonus chapter, it means EVERYTHING because the fact that they’re both hot and want to bang clearly means that they’re meant to be together forever. And it’s a VERY REAL CHAPTER.

a lot of asoiaf discourse reminds me that interview where it was implied the female character themselves are fantasy elements, as in they’re not realistic or historically accurate, and grrm was IRKED by that claim. he strongly objected to it and argued that his female characters aren’t part of the “fantasy” all of them are created to be human characters with some basis in the reality of women’s experiences. i think of that every single time somebody gets weird about one of them taking even the smallest step outside their assigned gender role lol 

which they all, thankfully, do to one extent or another. none of them exist to represent an ideal of femininity.

Batkids are so overprotective that if I’m a villain that really wants to fuck them up psychologically I’m just gonna go “You know what? For my revenge, I’m gonna fuck your dad. That’s right everyone! I’m gonna hop into bed with Batman!”

Cue the kids desperately trying to make sure Bruce doesn’t leave the manor with a “Hey dad let’s spend more time together in the manor since we’re all here!” Bruce is just happy to have all his babies around. Meanwhile they’ve called Clark to arrest me as a favour because if they let Jason deal with it I’ll become a human Swiss cheese.

LMAO. My favorite part of this is the fact that the batkids KNOW that Bruce wouldn't hesitate to fuck a villain. At least 3/4 of the people that have flirted with him have fought him. It's basically a requirement at this point. So they know that the MOMENT a villain starts flirting with him it's game over. The Manor is on lockdown.
