the idea of finn wolfhard’s roles being somehow related has been beaten to death already but i do enjoy the concept of richie tozier and mike wheeler being twins separated when they were young, and then being forced to endure their own interdimensional horrors with their groups of Loser Buddies.

i also like the idea of how they’d react to each other’s aforementioned interdimensional horrors. personally i think if richie had to deal with anything remotely upside-down related he’d Flip The Fuck Out and just scream a lot. if he came face to face with a demogorgon he’d try to hit it with a baseball bat or a stick or something, and then max or lucas (or maybe even el) would have to go out of their way to save him from his own dipshit decisions.

alternatively i believe that pennywise would be a cakewalk for mike and the party. mike would simply hit it with the “it’s not my fault you don’t like girls 🙄” and it’d be so confused it would have no choice but to back off. i also am a firm believer that if the losers club had max with them they would’ve fully defeated pennywise in the first movie. she would’ve figured out the “make it small” shit SO FAST.

at her core max mayfield is a Thirteen Year Old Girl and i applaud her for it. i love her.

anyway i’m working on my own twins!richie and mike fanfic so we’ll see how that goes. i don’t want to post it before i have something super solid because i have a tendency to abandon fics if they don’t interest me enough the entire time. we’ll see.

Excuse me because I don’t know much about stranger things but Black Phone and It are so fucking codes together.

Finn and Eddie passive baby’s but you test them and they’re starting fires in your backyard with their cute ass faces. Robin and Richie are alway there for they’re friends. Might be little shits but who wouldn’t be at that fucking adorable. Vance and Bev are twin flames. Talk shit gets rocked. Neither back down from a fight but are compassionate. Bruce and Ben are the same in my book. Two good boys who trying their best. Who love to the max when they do love and I’m here for it. They’re the softest mochi to exist in this life. Griffin and Gwen they’re in the background but highlights of everything. They see, hear and know everything with a sarcastic tone and a ‘bitch-do-better’ eyebrow raised. Billy and Mike babyboys and I will not explain. (Particularly bcs I cannot but they scream babyboys to me in my mind so they should scream it in your minds too).

I wish I knew more about stranger things to include them but I know they fit some here in there. And if I happen to be completely off remember this is just my crazy opinion.

Stranger Things:

El buys one of those sequin pencil cases that you can flip colours and stuff on but its has little pumpkins on it. she guards it with her life.

The party will always put all of their raisins from trick or treating in Mike's bag. He never finds out.

When Will was little, Jonathan would decorate his room for halloween with stuff he likes (ghostbusters, D&D, etc.) and would leave a candy scavenger hunt around the house

Will always invited the rest of the party over to help him

El's favourite candy is Three Muskateers. Dustin is thrilled.

Lucas, Will, Dustin and Mike would always have a horror movie marathon on halloween. After El and Max joined the party, they weren't sure if they still could. Will is talking to El about it, and so when El and Max drag everyone to Mike's basement and recommend some horror films to watch they're overjoyed. However, everyone except Will, El and Max end up almost pissing themselves with fright. They can't sleep for the next week.

Mike has arachnaphobia (bc i have arachnaphobia and i said so)

They watch Beetlejuice and everyone is so confused because 'uh joyce i didnt know you were in this movie???'

Robin goes costume shopping with Max and El

Hopper is one of those parents that will hide behind the door when the kids come home and jump out like 'WHAT took you so long??' and it gets them every damn time

They try to have coordinating outfits, but most of the time Stan, Bill, Mike and Ben will stand there in their matching costumes staring at Richie (dressed as Jason), Eddie (dressed as a ghost in a sheet), and Bev (dressed as a plague doctor) like 'wtf??? i thought we agreed on zombies???' and they'll just shrug like 'idk man sounds like a you problem'

When they go trick or treating, some houses will refuse to give them candy, so Richie screams at them for a solid 10 minutes while Bev and Stan reach through the window and grab some

Bill leaves a green lollipop (Georgies favourite candy) in his room every halloween because Bill knows that Georgie loved halloween

One of the houses they pass by has a bunch of clown decorations. Needless to say, they avoid that house for the rest of the night

Eddie's mum doesn't let him decorate the house for halloween and always takes away his candy at the end of the night, so he helps decorate Richie's house and gives his candy to him before he goes home.

Bev doesn't like to be at home with her dad on halloween, so she'll go to someone else's house (usually Richie or Bill's) and watch a classic horror movie with them

Richie does horrible impressions of literally any movie they've seen

Ben used to hate halloween because he had no one to go with, plus he would always get bullied

Richie will always invite Eddie over to watch something, but since Eddie hates horror movies, Richie will choose a lighthearted non-scary one and pretend it's his favourite so Eddie will watch with him

Eddie always ends up falling asleep during it

Stan and Mike glue little bats onto Richies glasses every year without fail. No one knows how.

--Will Byers: We both get pushed to the side of things (seasons 3 and 4) and want to help other with explaining their feelings, "you wanna know how we feel? Hahaha, no. Let's talk about you and forget about me."

--Robin Buckley: We have about the same personality. Like when she rants to Steve at Family Video in season 4, I would rant on as well. And when I realize I am ranting, I would completely apologize. I also would've done the same thing to the Russians as she did. And I'd be the exact same drugged as her. (I think, I've never been drugged before, and don't plan to be.)

--Max Mayfield: When we have something tramatic happen, we both close everyone out, dissapear from everything. But we know that it's not the best, yet we still continue to do it.

--Joyce Byers: We fight for what is right, we fight until we cannot anymore. Joyce never stopped fighting to find Will. She only stopped when she had Will back with her. People may have thought that she was crazy, but she didn't care. She just wanted her son back.

--Richie Toizer: I mean, his wardrobe, 100/10 Would wear. Who wouldn't? Plus, we both push our feelings and stuff back and cover them with jokes. (plus all my jokes are about me, they tear myself down, but their funny and make everyone laugh around me.) "Hey look! *points at trashcan* It's me because I'm garbage!"

--Stanley Uris: Sarcasm, we both use it a lot. I mean, who doesn't like birds? They are so cool! Mentally, we are probably the same person. Others most of the time: "I would die for *instert name here*" Me and Stanley part of the time: "I just wanna die."

--Bill Denbrough: We both will do anything for the people that we love. Even if that means putting ourselves in danger first. Plus we have younger siblings that we love very much.

--Miles Fairchild: We both lost people who we were very close to young. We both have had experinces that have completely changed our lives. (not the same event) Plus our mindset can completely change from happy go lucky to I will literally end your life and not be guilty.

--Nicholas Nelson: Person: "You like this thing (girl)?" Nick & Me: "Her/Their dog died." Loves dogs.

I’m stacking these two Anons

Man that’s such a hard question to answer. Long story short, I don’t read it as closing the closet for good because she talks about how eventually Robin will have to deal with the cruel and the mean and “you’ll learn to bounce back just like your trampoline” That to me implies eventually the secret will be set free and that he will have to learn how to deal with the fallout —I think she’s been understandably very tortured about bringing kids into this situation, but her overcoming her fear is what will allow them all to be set free

I have zero thoughts on a timeline! Prior to TTPD I had resigned myself to the fact that they may have decided to stay closeted forever. After listening to it several times through, I really do believe now that she’s gonna do this with some kind of earthquake—a book or 2nd doc? Part of the reason I think that —besides all the scathing lyrics—is because *again* we have people who worked with her posting about being honored to be “part of her journey”. This happened constantly with the Lover music video cast and with Brandon Urie. I don’t think someone feels emboldened to say something like that on a public forum unless they know there’s a public finale somewhere in the future if that makes sense
