This is Tahia - she is my half elf rogue. She used to live on a farm but things were never the same after her father disappeared. After he left she started to get into a bit of trouble. Acting out by stealing small things like some food from the kitchen. Not because they didn't have any food at home but because the thrill made her feel alive. Dita Von Teese was so right, you really can be the ripest, juiciest peach in the world and there's still going to be somebody who hates peaches. And depending on the social dynamics of your school, there may be a few high-status people who hate peaches who can bring enough people on board to make your life a living hell.

Brennan was bullied so badly that he had to be pulled out of school and homeschooled. Those kids hated his ass! And look at him now. What more proof do you need that being surrounded by people who want to kill you during your school years doesn't say fucking anything about how loveable you are or what your life will be like as an adult.

The dichotomy of Brennan helping with ability score rolls for newer players:

Titan Takedown: Preps high-level base stats for the cast, with everyone having a 20 in their two most relevant ability scores and no one really having a genuine dump stat (no one's character has below a 14/+2 modifier in any ability), which allows the players to play to their class strengths and not have to worry about fucking up as much in a shorter, tighter campaign.

Fantasy High: Ally Beardsley rolls a 4 for Kristen's Dex and has to live with with the consequences of that for 6+ years

nothing hits like that first ally beardsley season finale nat 20. that prompocalypse moment. way before anyone knew about ally's dice magic, just a casual "can i roll for a nat 20 and then be alive" and of course brennan says sure because what are the odds of that happening, and the look on everyone's face, the look on brennan's face, when they actually get the nat 20..........like every beardsley finale nat 20 rules but truly nothing will ever come close to the high of that very first one
