Emerald: I just want to say sorry for ... You know ... being the cause of your death back at Beacon?
Penny: Thank you for the apology. You are not forgiven.
Emerald: What- Actually. I injured and killed thousands of people, killed you, helped get Pyrrha killed, and just attacked you like. Yesterday. Yeah, you know what? Thanks for forgiving me, because I have fucked some shit. UP.
Penny: Yes you have. I believe most of my friends have been amicable due to the stress and intensity of the situation, and having you as an ally is better than having you as an enemy.
Emerald: Mm-hm.
Penny: Also, My father was only able to repair me due to luck and with the last of his aura. If I die, I die forever.
As the hastily cobbled text above in the blog description states, I am an amateur writer and artist under the screenname JournalMarker (or journalerprojectmanager), and am the primary writer and organizer for Project: Journals.
Project: Journals, for better or for worse, is a project that aims to gradually rewrite the story of the webseries RWBY by RoosterTeeth due to my personal dissatisfaction with how the later volumes played out (especially towards the end of Volume 8...) and in all honesty is a project being fueled by the greatest motivator of all: Spite.
The current state of the rewrite has a slow but gradual change to the flow of the series, with few changes towards the start and greater changes towards the end. Admittedly, it's little more than a glorified fanfiction.
This blog will mainly serve as a repository for art and writing related updates to the rewrite and occasional shitposts. The story itself can be found here on AO3 and is an active work in progress (Currently at 1 chapter so far).
Not much else I can share just yet, incomplete works and confidentiality and all that. 'Til then, though.

I'm really tired of people insisting that Yang NEEDS to regenerate her severed arm in order to "fulfill her character arc" now that she's "learned her lesson".
Like, we've actually had her EXPLICITLY refuse to have her disability "fixed", and yet the fandom just thinks that she needs to "wait for a safer option".
It's almost like explicitly linking prosthetics and amputation to losing one's humanity in Volumes 7 and 8 gave the fandom weird ideas about disabled bodies!
I hate that line so fucking much. The writers stick their feet in their mouths with alarming regularity and then the fandom ties itself in knots trying to pretend what they said was smart or insightful and that RWBY is Actually The Best And Smartest And Most Well-Written Show Ever And Nothing Could Ever Possibly Be Wrong With It Uwu.
I wouldn't have an issue with Yang being able to regenerate her arm if that had been set up long before now - I don't have any issues with healing factors or magical healing or advanced medical technology or whatever as a factor of a setting - but as I said before, I think it would be a bad choice now, especially given Rooster Teeth's general awfulness and RWBY's sketchy record when it comes to disability and other sensitive subjects, to say nothing of the direction the story has already taken Yang's character.
I don't know what you mean by having her refuse to have her disability fixed. All I can think of is her being hesitant to put on her prosthetic at first, but that was way back in Volume 4. If this is something from Volume 9, I'm not watching it and doubt that will change anytime soon.
I should put a moratorium on RWBY asks at this point I'm so tired of thinking about this fucking show and the horrendous company behind it for any reason other than meming and shitposting
