Alright, I'mma take a look at some DT fan OCs! I've been sent quite a few, so I'll try to keep my comments for each one short 'n' sweet!

great name, snappy dresser. diggin' the bowtie! the pins are also a fun accessory!

Another snappy dresser! Tied well to an existing location in-game and the idea to explain the stickers is cute! attire is unique/memorable and the blues/browns compliment each other well. solid design. I do appreciate him!

the bandage on side of face is a nice touch! digging the pinstripe pants too! graveyard shift at a convenience store is also quite an authentic job for a DT side character to have too! very nicely done.

Solid OC! well-drawn, unique job and her fit's stylish (it probably goes without saying that i'm a sucker for TV heads with dogs on them. that's gotta be a given, right?) The stickers on the back of the head are also a nice addition! well done!

Stanley's a real cad, huh? pizza delivery guy with a novelty pizza phone head is genius - making him flirt with milves on the job is just inspired though. i almost wish i'd come up with this guy, as i can totally imagine people around town talking about him. excellent job!!!

he's aptly named for an arcade dude! dig the fit too, especially the black + purple fingerless long sleeve gloves! the decals on the phone are neat too!

I approve of his activities but the lack of a visible mouth threw me off, since i've seen these old toy phones before, ofc.

i was about to ask "how does he drink ocean water without a mouth", before realizing that id been bamboozled into asking the fandom-favourite question of: 'how does he eat without a mouth?', only to then remember that practically no DT characters have visible mouths.

i hope you know that you've strained my weary brain today. cool OC, though.

banana phone's a fun concept! also, i must say your username's quite fitting. crept up on me from my peripheral as I gazed upon the banana phone, like a bizarre centipede of some sort. well, i'd assume so. in hindsight, most centipedes i've encountered have been pretty straightforward with me. i guess i should be grateful for that.

i like mary's fuzzy phone matching the trim of her dress but martin's really got my attention. cool name, neat quirk (he kills people, that takes moxie. hell, even pizzaz too, dare i say?) The dial being a lil clock is a neat touch since it ties his interest into the design. also quite like the cord tail matching the phone head's colour. solid design!

i like his head-type and the attire/pale skin gives a nice bit of contrast!

hard to say how randy'd feel about him, as someone who's only seen his design and 2 lines of dialogue (as someone's personality dictates randy's opinion on them far more than their appearance.) if you feel they'd get on though, you're probably correct! (randy isn't too picky, after all!)

Funnily enough, one of the earliest sketches for crown has a similar bolted plate stuck to a mostly intact phone head. it was even sticking from one of the sides. or corners. i'd have to dig up the notebook, as it's been like 4 years since I came up with the character. Sorry, just made me remember since the earliest sketches had one too.

Copper phone head's a neat idea. Contrasts well with his attire as well (nice and complimentary.) if only his attempts to deter jesse from the za worked out as well, eh?

Been thinking of the toxic Yuri potential of Vaggie and Lute lately. There are so many good flavors tbh.

Toxic exes is the one I see most often and I do love that, but has anyone considered closeted-lesbian Lute with a crush?

To be fair, this would partly rely on heaven being homophobic which is unclear at best in the show (though I am half convinced Adam would be the type of guy who would sexualize lesbians and be offended when they weren't interested in him), but I think it's fun to explore anyway.

Like, the self-justification of Lute's actions, casting her crush from heaven because she doesn't want to deal with her feelings for a woman, especially one which disagrees with the system Lute upholds and gives up so much of herself for.

The realization when she sees Chaggie that she could have had that if she wanted to. If she tried to.

The doubling down on her role and beliefs in heaven partly as a justification for her actions. As a way of coping with the fact that Vaggie, in what was supposed to be her punishment, found more freedom and self-love than Lute has ever had.

Bonus points:

Vaggie having similar feelings for her at the time. Feeling betrayed when she was attacked, but also finding Charlie and slowly healing, physically and mentally.

Vaggie moving on and finding love, both for Charlie and herself, when Lute could not.

I just think there's a lot there that makes it interesting.

Okay so I debated posting this for a long time but it won't stop bothering me. Before you come for me,all I ask is that you hear me out, and that my intention with this post is NOT to not to attack anyone.

Here we go: Alana Bloom is not a good person. That is pre-moral-decay arc.

Why am I saying this?

It is NOT because:

She's a woman

queer

Female professional in a male dominated field

Somehow "standing between Hannigram"

It IS because,in my very subjective opinion as 1 autistic person, she is a prime example of a self-righteous "Autism Speaks/Facebook Autism Mom" with a degree.

Personally the most insidious kind of allistic ableist to encounter. It took me a long time to recognize that this kind of person is not any less harmful,or bigoted,and they are by far the most difficult to call out. Why? Because they are what neurotypical people see as "nice,well-intentioned,altruistic,allies, compassionate,self-sacrificing" etc, this goes double if you have a degree to cement your authority. Trying to even gently explain to them how and why their behavior is not okay from an actual neurodivergent point of view will always be met with more outrage by other neurotypicals than calling out someone who is outright,loud and proud hostile in their ableism. A similar concept to other subtle, covert forms of bigotry.

Alana is a worse therapist than Hannibal, and hell,even Bedelia. She's on par with Chilton.

Because she is "normal", "nice", and "sweet" it is easily overlooked just how not only ableist but emotionally manipulative she is. She is just as bad as Sutcliffe,or any other professional who sees Will as an exotic case study,and her "fascination" with Will echoes Freddie's. I don't doubt that she genuinely thinks of herself as a "good person who cares about/for Will", and that she firmly believes to be "well-intentioned",and "morally surperior". But she really isn't. Her behavior towards Will is NOT okay. She did and does use,and infantilize him,she does manipulate him,be that consciously or subconsciously. But whereas we make "excuses" for Hannibal, and don't really expect him to act differently because of his pathology,his "nature",his way of thinking etc. We do not hold the "normal" people like Alana to the same measure.

That's why I get angry when people regurgitate Chilton's talking points about Will,and demonize him.

It is far more nuanced,and complex than that.

Imho, in this show (apart from the dogs) there are no "pure" characters. And to deny Alana is not fundamentally flawed,and yes ableist character because "feminism!" could in and of itself be misogynistic. A person can be a bigot regardless of gender,race/ethnicity/culture,religion etc. They can be so without actively meaning harm,or even being really all that aware that their 'good intentions' are destructive. If such a person is willing to learn and change,than that's good. No such thing as doomed. But most of her "with a degree" types will die on their hills,and be affronted by the accusation that their oh so "noble" attitudes might actually be anything but.

I am NOT bird app accusing anyone who likes her character of being any of those terms,to stop liking her,or that she is "worse" but I am saying that just as we acknowledge Hannibal's flaws,can (meta) decry his actions,and still call him Blorbo and fiercely ship Hannigram,we should also be able to do so with Alana.

The "normal" ones aren't always the "good ones".

That is why I dislike Alana,and I just don't like being accused of merely disliking her for being a queer woman,or the infantile notion that she was "in the way of Hannigram". I have my HIGHLY PERSONAL,SUBJECTIVE BUT TO ME VALID,UNRELATED REASONS I dislike her. Not because she read a weird book to Abigail. Or anything else that has recently come up in the fandom.

You don't have to dislike her. It's okay if you like her. It's okay if she's your favorite,your obsession,or you just find her sexy. It's perfectly fine if you ship Marlana,or ship her with Hannibal. I'm not posting this to lecture,or convert anyone. I couldn't be happier for you if you like her and/or find comfort in her character.

What I do have issues with is seeing her idealized without legitimate discourse about her character.

No,I don't think of Will or Hannibal as pure cherubs without fault but I have had enough about the angel-ification of Alana,and reimagining of Will as darker/more monstrous/misanthropic than he is.

That is my perspective. You don't have to agree with it - not if you are autistic/neurodivergent as well,or if you are neurotypical. You really don't have to. That's okay! I respect that,and you!

So respectfully,gently,please let one autistic person of many explain her discomfort with her character,or maybe offer food for thought to some.

To explain why I actually hate Dick and Damian’s relationship is a can of worms because when I last did people straight up attacked me. No one wants to talk about what actually happened between Dick and Damian and it’s weird to me especially because they just want to praise their fanon Dick-Damian dynamic that honestly is more the watered down and boring version of what they had.

Damian was always proud to be Robin-to be Bruce’s Robin even with their conplications and disagreements. Other characters even judge Damian by his relationship with Bruce and not Dick, yes, they are important to each other but nothing they did in those runs have a lasting effect on Damian’s character and you guys really have to understand that. Everything Damian was supposed to learn in those comics stepped on its own toes somewhere down the line. The way fandom remembers the Morrison run really confused me and it convinces part of me that you guys are only seeing that in out of context tumblr posts and not reading it for yourselves.

It’s especially weird to me because the way that Dick hated being Batman, do you guys not get that? Because it may or may not be his whole character. When Bruce came back and it was his time to be Nightwing again, Dick brushed Damian’s feelings off and kind of gaslighted him. Dick always seemed to make the same mistakes that Bruce did with Damian. He even mentions that he felt like Damian was just a responsibility because “If I don’t, then who will” and “You really think Bruce will be able to put up with you?” … huh?

Especially because if you take Dick and Damian and have Dick adopt him then it takes his rights away from Bruce and Talia and don’t even get me started on how deeply that ideation of Dick-Damian is rooted in the demonization of Talia Al Ghul… it’s really in your face too OR SHOULD BE because in those comics, Morrison was iconic for making Talia this evil, perfectionist and abusive mother… so no, Dick and Damian’s relationship in fandom will never sit right with me.

Why do you write a hatecomment?

Why do so many people write hate messages here? Especially in the Hotd fandom. I just do not understand. I just keep asking myself why? Really why? I've been in different fandoms since I am 13/14, and I've never, nerver seen so much hate as in the Hotd fandom. I don't post much here, but I love checking out other blogs. I have a few posts about HotD on my blog, a few reblogs and a few from myself. I have post for both teams on my blog. And I don´t have a big blog, still, the number of hate messages I receive is unbelievable. All anonym, of course.

I always delete this kind of messages straight away but I'm slowly getting tired of them. I do not get it. Fandoms and Tumblr are for fun. It's a series/book for heaven's sake! I don't understand the intention behind it. Do you think a hate comment makes someone think, oh right, I don't like this character (in this case Aegon)? Or do you just want to hurt other people?

I just don't understand the thought process behind it. Never in my life have I thought to myself after reading a post: Time to write mean things to this person. It's one thing to disagree with someone's opinion. I understand. Everyone has different opinions and likes certain characters more and dislikes certain characters. But is that enough to write mean, hurtful and sometimes threatening words? No! It's worrying how quickly and easily people write mean messages. It's anonym, so no harm. Wrong! You are hurting the people you write these messages to! Don't you realize that behind every blog there is a real person with feelings?

My mother always used to say if you don't have anything nice to say then don't say anything.

Why is this so difficult for some people?

So please if you don't like something, keep scrolling, block the tags and stop sending hate messages to strangers on the internet.

I'm sorry for the fuss, but I'm getting really tired. It's just not fun and that's what every fandom should be about.

How do you deal with hate messages? Do you just delete them or reply?

Please just be kind to each other. The world is so full of hate and anger. Why do you have to make it worse? Please let us have our little corner of the internet where everyone can love what they love and don't get any hate for it.

I need to talk about Morgan Elsbeth and the connection to Thrawn. Along with some other questionable narrative choices Filoni has made with Thrawn.

I want to preface, this is not going to be a hating Morgan Elsbeth post nor hating on the actress or any bts production of her character. There is enough hate towards characters like this in this fandom and I will not be perpetuating that (take that negativity somewhere else). I only want this to be an open discussion on this part of Thrawn's story.

Morgan is a character that has been placed into Thrawn's canon timeline. She was not written in (everything is written obvs but let me explain). The distinction I want to make between those narrative ideas is, placing a character into a story means they are important in supporting the main character, but no one cares if they are replaced or removed from the story. Writing a character into the story means they are so important to the direct development of the mc, if they are replaced or removed it feels like a piece of that character is missing. Some examples for Thrawn would be Eli Vanto or Ar'alani. Morgan was removed from the story in the Ahsoka series and it didn't even effect Thrawn himself.

So why create this character and push a narrative that makes her seem like the most important part of the story? Like without her Thrawn wouldn't be able to get back to the galaxy? Thrawn is a genius, a warrior, and a survivor. He could've figure that out himself, or with the help of Ezra (an established character that the audience loves). Instead he's had to rely on Morgan.

This is where my qualm with Dave Filoni comes into play. I love Filoni's work he has created some of my favorite stories in the Star Wars franchise. But he does one thing that I despise. Ignores the work of amazing authors. In this case Timothy Zahn. I can't say for sure that he hasn't read the Ascendancy Trilogy or the Thrawn (2017) trilogy, but it feels like it when analyzing Filoni's characterization of Thrawn. If he did read those books or least consulted Zahn on them he would know Thrawn's true motives for what he does. He is a protector for the greater good. He goes against many higher powers to make the right choice, not the good or bad choices. He shows the characters around him time and time again that he will always do what is right even if it means his downfall. He is not a villain in his own story just himself, not good or bad, the one in the middle. He evolves, learns, observes, and understands things on a completely different level. And we only see a sliver of this characterization in Filoni's story. I understand the narrative built around Thrawn being the ultimate villain for the ghost crew because a good story like this should have an interesting dynamic between protagonist and antagonist. But the fact that you'd have to read his books to know who he is, is a clear indication to me that his novel characterization wasn't researched enough.

It also shows me that Filoni favors the legends version of Thrawn more. Especially with the inclusion of Pellaeon in Tales of the Empire and not Eli Vanto. Who could have easily been placed into that role. Although, he his Thrawn's aide he can and has done things like that for Thrawn.

Now in Tales of the Empire we see that he isn't the original creator of the TIE Defender. Trying to place Morgan into a characters story that is so beloved [Thrawn] feels so forced through this idea that she created the TIE Defender. Why would someone who is trying to get revenge for her people go to the Empire with an idea like this. If she is so angry why she is relying on someone else's power to get her revenge? And even when she got in the good graces of the Empire with Thrawn what came of it? The Defender project was ruined, shouldn't her allegiance to Thrawn be in ruin too. The deal they made implied she would get what she wanted, but she never did and was still loyal to him. Thrawn does have this quality about him though, you'd follow him off a cliff, the gravity in which he attracts people to his cause is so alluring. But that still doesn't explain where Morgans revenge story went. And in the end she really does feel like a character that can be replaced.

Trying to make a character that was placed into the story important to the audience does a disservice to the story as a whole. Thrawn has an established world of characters in the novels that are readily available to use in the narrative. So why aren't they in it? Eli especially in one I cannot ignore the absence of. From the moment Thrawn is found in exile Eli does not leave his side. Eli follows him into battle again and again. Even after realzing his initial career choice will amount to nothing now that Thrawn has taken over his duty in the Imperial Navy. Thrawn himself says "you hold my words in your hand, and their meanings," and although that was in relation to his survival with the Empire it still held true throughout the story. Eli is an extension of Thrawn, whatever is said to Eli is said to Thrawn and vise versa. So where is he?

(Ok that's all my ramblings for now. Hopefully this made sense. Feel free to leave your thoughts in the tags or replies. Thrawn was the first sw novel I read, I'm fiercely protective of him. So when his characterization is kinda ruined like this it upsets me. But I'm always excited to see him in any media and hear that silky voice of his, thank you lars.)

Hey guys. I know I’ve been relatively quiet on here since the finale, and I wanted to let you all know I haven’t just liked all your posts but not reblogged for the sake of lurking 😅. I had an insanely chaotic week in my personal life/schedule and the finale hit me hard, in some ways that I wasn’t expecting, so I’ve been processing a lot behind the scenes and trying to play catch-up.

I know there’s a lot of opinions, a lot of hurt feelings, and a lot of processing going around, no matter what your opinions about the finale itself. And even if it had satisfied every one of us, it still is hard to say goodbye to our Bad Batch in canon media. I’ve been crying every time I see shots from those last few scenes and the epilogue 😭❤️

I’ll be sharing everyone’s thoughts and my own as I have the bandwidth this week/ongoing. I have a lot of things I want to address:

- How Tech was handled

- Project Necromancer and Omega’s m count

- the death trooper batch and what worked and didn’t work for me

- how Crosshair’s hand was handled

- my reaction to the finale, as well as the pros vs cons of how it was executed

- the pros and cons of the season overall

- potentially analyses on Hunter and Crosshair throughout their arcs

- some posts that I had been compiling before the finale that will now have a very different tone 😅🫣 (you’ll know what I mean when I get there)

- final update on my Crosshair Sighs count

- additional chapters of the Be There one-shots I started at the beginning of the season. I have Hunter and Crosshair’s perspectives, and I will add in Wrecker’s, Echo’s, and Omega’s.

- I still have an upcoming Hunter short fic and my long fic Compass Pointing North (Rex and Echo leading the clone rebellion) that will fill in all the gaps of the last two seasons and potentially more (I have so many ideas!)

In short, I’m still here, not going anywhere, just need some time to process and get my thoughts together. For those of you grieving or feeling let down, I see you and feel the same way about certain things. For those of you ecstatic and fulfilled about certain things, I see you and feel the same way as well.

And lastly—I’ve been seeing and hearing both behind the scenes and publicly making fun of, tearing down, or vehemently shaming people for their various reactions to this finale. I have to say I’m a bit disappointed at some of the backlash that has been happening between fans for holding differing opinions and emotions. If someone else has a different favorite character than you, a different perspective, a level of difficulty that you are not experiencing—do not shame them for that. Do not go on anon and harass them. Don’t try to tell people who are upset that they should just be happy and get over it. And don’t tell people who are really satisfied with what we got that they shouldn’t be expressing that or that they are inconsiderate for feeling that way.

In short, don’t let the end of this show tear apart all of the good and wonderful and fun moments that we’ve built together over these last three years. This fandom has been a special place and a very meaningful place for most of us, I believe, and those who are in this fandom do not deserve to be treated poorly simply for having their own perspectives. Be kind to each other. Please. I know you all are capable of it 🙏🏻✨❤️

“Kissing on the forehead isn’t necessarily romantic” makes sense if we are talking about a work of media that is made in a time/place where that was a common thing between same gender platonic friends.

But are you, anon? Or are you talking about like, a piece of Western mass media from the past 50 years? Or are you talking about anime — because if anything, kissing is even more loaded in Japan than it is in the West, especially if there are other people around. (Lots of people in anime fandom love to use “but Japanese culture” arguments to no homo, but are banking on no one reading them actually knowing jack shit about Japanese culture — because it’s almost never true or based on any real Japanese cultural difference, there’s just making shit up. It assumes people will take for granted anything that frames Japan as “foreign and inscrutable and impossible for Westerners to understand” which is just Orientalism tbqh)

Just saying, because I almost never see this shit said about like, a novel from 1820 or something from a culture like, say, some Middle Eastern countries where men kissing other men platonically is a thing…. and almost always see it said about current media from a culture where kissing on the forehead would be seen as something you’d likely not do to a platonic friend of the same gender.

You can’t “impose your cultural norms” on something from the same culture as you lol, or something from another culture that has the same norm! And an (for example) American assuming that modern American media plays by the rules of modern American culture and seeing it through that lens, doesn’t necessarily mean that American is unaware that different norms exist in different cultures. But like… it just makes sense to analyze a current American show for American audiences set in America in the modern day through the cultural standards of 2020s America and not, say, Bangladesh or Namibia or 1850s America.

And on another note, if you were as much of a fan of “queer readings” as you claim to be, you’d know that they often have little to do with authorial intent. In fact, it’s often specifically about reclaiming media that didn’t have you in mind as the audience.

(Seriously, I really doubt you have read many of those queer readings, bc if this bothers you so much, the stuff queer studies academics and cultural critics see as “gay subtext” in old Hollywood movies — hell, the stuff that gay, bi and sympathetic-straight directors and actors and writers often very much INTENDED as gay subtext in those movies — would make your brain explode.)

Anyway, we’ve all been in fandoms where there’s a ship some people insist has a ton of subtext but it’s just two guys sharing a scene occasionally and they just WANT to believe it’s there when it isn’t, and it can be annoying sure if there are so many people insisting this that it’s inescapable and becoming fanon that affects the fic about the ships you like, or if they’re pushy and sanctimonious about it. (My current fandom has a group of people who insist the only reason other people don’t see all the “subtext” for their random rarepair is racism or something, and then ignore how much textual stuff they have to deliberately leave out or misinterpret for their reading to “work” lol. Like scenes where their starry eyed expression is directed at a different character and that’s obvious in the actual episode but not in their selectively edited gif set or meta post.) But that is not the same as doing that with KISSING ON THE FOREHEAD ffs. And also, let’s not pretend that slash (or femslash) shippers are the worst offenders, like het shippers — and the broader culture — doesn’t constantly treat “a man and a woman interact” as meaning “they could/should be a couple,”

If you’re not bothered by that, but you’re bothered by when people do it with two men or two women… yeah you gotta ask yourself why that is. I have an idea why, and it’s not bc of your greater cultural open mindedness lol

Taking Spartak to the Apothecary was no easy task for you. He didn't like moving from place to place very much, considering your many escapades with him. It gets him all grouchy and sometimes unreasonable when you want to bring him somewhere.

He just doesn't want to go anywhere. He is fine where he just is, basking in your presence once more. Nuzzling into your stomach with his beefy arms wrapped around you, inhaling your scent. Your small being relaxing the nails he had when they should be raging at him for continuously bloodshed, but they never pained him when you were around. You were like his personal Apothecary yourself. Cooling the butchers nails off of him.

He hums when you gently drag your fingers over his metal nails in his head, his head shifting from your stomach to look up at you with half lidded, golden eyes. Studying your rather tense looking features. Your eyes looking beyond the walls of his nest, eyebrows scrunched up to a degree. You were thinking deeply of something that was worrying you.

Had... had he done something wrong? Had someone else done something wrong to his Маленький мир? Why did she looks so stressed with him? He hasn't done anything to make her think so... worriedly. The nails in his head dig a little; he ignores it.

"My Маленький мир, what is wrong?" He lowly croons up to his bonded, snapping her out of her thoughts, her eyes glancing down at him then away from him. Her mouth opening and closing in hesitance to tell him her thoughts.

He huffs when he lifts himself up from your stomach, his scarred arms moving beside you. The dip in the couch he makes with his weight dragging you down underneath him, his arms keeping you there, underneath him on the Astarte's-sized couch as he casts a shadow over your from. His eyes never moving away from you as you continue to struggle to voice out your thoughts to him. Your body shuffling a little back from him.

His nails dig at him again, his eyes narrowing. Were these thoughts about him? Someone else? You don't seem too keen on tell him so, unlike when he wants to pry something out of you.

"Маленький мир, please, tell me what is wrong." He asks nicely, gently putting his hand underneath her chin and tilting it up to him. Making her pretty little eyes filled with worry look up at him. "Do not avoid me."

"I-I'm not." She stutters at him, his eyebrow lifting up in questioning. She always had something up her sleeve to avoid him with. So what was she thinking of then? Unless she was lying to him, but her tounge speaks truth. He knows it. So, what was she hesitant to him about?

“What makes you hesitate, my Маленький мир.” He asks, his head coming forward to press against her forehead, calming his prickling nails. Khorne, he doesn’t know what he’ll do without her graceful touch.

“I’m… afraid you won’t like what I have to say.” She admits, a tone of worry lacing her words. The light scent of her fear becoming known to him.

He immediately nuzzles against her head, purring and cooing at his Маленький мир. Shifting his body where he curls over his little bonded, engulfing her with his body. His nose nuzzling in the crook of her neck. An awkward position for him, but his instinct to destroy that sliver of fear she has with him coming it fast and strong. His Маленький мир should not be afraid him. It’s not what he wants. He’s supposed to protect you. Not have you fear him.

“Khorne, Маленький мир.” He starts, his Russian accent coming out. “If I didn’t want to hear your pretty voice every day, I wouldn’t have pursued you.”

“I wouldn’t have brought you back to my nest.” He rumbles, kissing the side of her neck before pulling back to press their foreheads together, quietly purring. “Я бы не любил тебя, маленький мир.(I wouldn’t love you, little world.)”

“I… was just wondering if you were up for the nail removal.” She reveals her worry’s. Her hands coming up to drag her fingers around one of many scars on his arm. Nervous for his reaction.

“The butchers nails?” He questions, leaning back up as she winces beneath him, giving him a singular nod to him.

He hums, he has heard of this… removal or surgery before by other wandering World Eaters or Apothecaries mentioning it to him. Saying how it would give them much relief, even out in battle. Saying, without the pain of the nails it gaves them a much better thinking process, to strategize their opponents next move. Something he considers sometimes with his Маленький мир.

How is he to know he’ll return back to his Маленький мир if the pain of the nails suffocate him? How is he to know the next move of his opponent if all he could think about was pain? He knows that part of him scares his little bonded. Perhaps, it would be better if he agrees with this offer? His Маленький мир would be able to trace his head correctly then.

Khorne, but with the nails he provides much more strength with the pain edging him on to behead his enemies. To leave their blood staining the ground from where he would battle, but that scares his little Маленький мир. He knows it.

“I don’t think I would mind.” He speaks after a moment of thinking. If he did have them removed it doesn’t change much of him drastically. He would still fight for his Маленький мир for every ounce of blood left in him. A Blood Angel would have to drink him dry if he were to fall.

“You wouldn’t?” His Маленький мир looks up at him questionably. Shuffling back up on the couch to finally look at him properly; not avoiding him.

“No. I wouldn’t.” He confirms again to his little bonded. Watching how she perks up a little. His Маленький мир clearly liking his choice of words.

“Are you willing to go through it?” She questions him, still unsure with his answer and it put a small grin on his face. Such a worrying little thing.

“For you.” He responds, leaning back down to nuzzle into her neck, softly inhaling her relaxed scent. No more laced fear in it as she wraps her arms around his neck. “I am willing, for you.”

His Маленький мир nuzzles into his neck this time, making him softly trill out to her and kiss her soft cheek. His arms wrapping around her small figure and engulfing her once more with his body.

The surgery was hard and time consuming for the Apothecary’s to make sure his appointment was a success. His big frame having the affects of trying to remove a needle from the hay stack with the smaller nails in his brain, but with much patience and masters of the Apothecary. The surgery was a proud success.

Spartak almost eagerly awaits for his discharge from the apothecary. Wanting to return to his little bonded as soon as possible. Having done this without her knowledge, but the thought clearly made her feel more at ease with the nails gone. Cuddling with him and making no attempt to escape him, not like she could.

Once the Apothecary deems Spartak healed a ready to wander off to wherever he likes. He doesn’t hesitate to leave the base like he had a mission on mind. Never once hesitating in his tracks to go back to his nest where his Маленький мир should be.

Though, he can feel this spoken relief of the removal of what the nails did to him. It never yelled back at him or pushed him to do things he might regret later… It made him feel like his much younger self, before he had the nails before the Horus Heresy began. Before he was even a battle-brother. A sudden feeling made his gut drop and rise.

He… he needs his little bonded, his ��аленький мир right now. He needs her comfort. Her scent to wrap around him as he nuzzles into her plush skin.

Tommy was enjoying sitting out in the sun with Evan's hand caught between both of his when his phone rang. He still couldn't believe that he'd just agreed to be Evan's date to his sister's wedding. 

Reluctantly, he removed his hand from on top of Evan's to pull his phone from his pocket. He didn't recognize the phone number, but in his line of work he couldn't ignore a call from an unknown number.

"I should probably take this," he said as he accepted the call. "Hello?"

"Hi Tommy, it's Bobby Nash."

"Captain Nash, hi," Tommy said, meeting Evan's wide eyes across the table. Evan gave his hand a little squeeze. "What can I do for you, Sir?"

"Athena and I would like you to come to dinner at our house," Bobby said. "We barely got to talk after the rescue and we would like to thank you properly."

"I was just doing my job," Tommy deflected, not that he wasn't grateful for the invitation.

"We both know that you weren't sanctioned to come get us. You put your career on the line to come save us and I cannot say how grateful we are that you did. The least we can do is make you a home cooked meal."

"I do miss your cooking," Tommy admitted. 

"I don't know if you're seeing anyone, but feel free to bring them along, too," Bobby offered. 

Tommy turned his hand over so he could squeeze Evan's. "I have started seeing someone who I think I'd like to bring." 

Across the table, Evan pointed at his chest and mouthed, 'Me?' Tommy just nodded. 

"We look forward to meeting them," Bobby said. "How's Wednesday night?" 

"Wednesday works for me," Tommy agreed. 

"I'll text you the address. I look forward to catching up," Bobby said.

"I'll see you then," Tommy said. He met Evan's eyes. "Want to go to dinner at Captain Nash's with me on Wednesday as my date?"

"You want me to be your date for dinner with Bobby and Athena?" 

"Only if you're comfortable with it," Tommy said. 

"Well, he'd find out about us at the wedding anyway," Evan said. "I like the idea of him knowing about us before then. He is kinda like my work dad."

"That's not really a thing," Tommy said, laughing. "I can't believe how much of a family the 118 became after I left."

"Hey, if you hadn't left when you did, I could have ended up at some other station." Evan shuddered dramatically. 

Tommy blinked. "I hadn't done that math. You were my replacement."

"You left some pretty big shoes to fill," Evan said. 

"How old are you?" Tommy hesitantly asked.

"I'm thirty-four," Evan said. 

"Ten years, that's not so bad," Tommy mused aloud.

"If it makes you feel any better, you wouldn't be the first person I've dated who is older than me. Abby was like twenty years older than me when we dated," Evan admitted.

"You have some kind of May/December fetish I should be aware of?" Tommy teased.

"N-No," Evan spluttered. "This would only be the second time I dated someone that much older than me. Not that you're old."

"I'm kidding, Evan," Tommy said. He wondered why Evan seemed to melt a bit every time he said his name. He'd need to remember to ask him about that sometime.

"Besides, there is something to being with someone more mature, with more life experience," Evan said. 

"Especially for someone who only recently discovered they were into men?" Tommy asked, knowingly. 

"Yeah," Evan said, blushing. 

"So, what kind of wine should I bring to this dinner?" Tommy asked, looking to get back onto safer ground. 

"Red wine for Athena and something non-alcoholic for Bobby," Evan said. 

"He's sober?" Tommy asked. "That certainly explains some things."

"Not my story to tell, but yeah," Evan confirmed. 

"Do you have a wine preference?" Tommy asked. "I'm not all that picky," Evan said. "Depends on my mood."

"Good to know," Tommy said. He took another sip of his terrible coffee and grimaced. "First, I'm going to get some real coffee and then head to the liquor store. Care to join me?"

"Y-you want me to come with you?" Evan asked, clearly surprised.

"Unless you have plans?"

"No, my day is wide open," Evan said, enthusiastically.

"Great, let's go," Tommy said.

On Wednesday night, Tommy picked Evan up before heading to the Grant-Nash home. He and Evan had a mild debate about who should drive since Evan had been to the house many times before, but Tommy wanted to woo Evan. Even if just a little.

Evan was fidgeting beside him as Tommy rang the doorbell.

"Second thoughts?" he asked, resting a hand on Evan's back.

Evan steeled himself and grinned at Tommy. "Not a one."

The door swung open to reveal both Bobby and Athena. Tommy registered their surprise at seeing Evan with him. 

"Buck, what are you doing here?" Bobby asked.

"I-I'm Tommy's plus one," he stuttered. 

Athena recovered first and stepped around Bobby to loop her arm through Tommy's and pull him inside. "That is wonderful news. I can't wait to hear all about how you two got together."

As they walked down a short flight of stairs, Tommy saw Bobby pull Evan into a hug and say so softly that Tommy almost couldn't hear it, "I'm happy for you."

"This is for you," Tommy said, presenting the wine to Athena. "Thank you for having us over."

"It is our pleasure," she said. "Especially if we are getting the good gossip before everyone else." She winked at him. 

"I'm afraid Eddie's got you beat, in that case," Evan said as he and Bobby joined them. "He interrupted our first date."

"He does know how to keep a secret," Bobby said. "We didn't even know about Christopher for the first few weeks he was with us."

"He seems like a really great kid," Tommy said. 

"You've met him?" Bobby asked in surprise. "I thought you were dating Buck."

"I am, but Eddie and I have become pretty good friends since the rescue, too," Tommy said. "I've hung out at his place to watch some fights."

"Tommy flew the two of them to Vegas to see some fight a couple of weeks ago," Buck added. 

"You sure you're not dating both of them?" Athena teased.

"Oh, I'm sure; Eddie turned me down when I asked for a date, but said he wanted to be friends."

"Wait, you asked Eddie on a date?" Evan asked in surprise.

"I'm going to finish getting dinner on the table. Is that for tonight?" Bobby asked, gesturing to the bottle of sparkling grape juice in Evan's hand. He held it out for Bobby without looking away from Tommy.

"I'll go pour the wine," Athena said. "We're going to need it."

"Did you kiss him, too?" Evan demanded in a whisper, pulling Tommy to the far side of the room.

"No, it was nothing like that," Tommy insisted. "On the way back from Vegas I asked if I could take him on a proper date and Eddie said that he was flattered, but he had a girlfriend. I was surprised because it was the first time he'd mentioned her. Apparently she'd been babysitting Christopher while we were at the fight."

"So, am I like some kind of consolation prize?" Evan asked, his voice trembling.

"No, never," Tommy grasped Evan's face between both his hands. "I didn't know you were an option until I went to your loft that night. And when you said you'd been trying to get my attention all week, I realized I didn't want to miss my chance with you."

He kissed Evan then, a soft chaste kiss since they were at someone else's home, but one filled with promise.

Evan looked dazed when he released him, just like after their first kiss. Tommy could get used to putting that look on Evan's face.

"Now let's go eat, I'm starving," Tommy said, grabbing Evan's hand and pulling him towards the kitchen. "It smells amazing in here."

"You guys all good?" Athena asked, an eyebrow raised. 

"Yeah, we're good," Evan said, that dopey grin still on his face. 

"Coming through," Bobby said, setting a large pan of lasagna on the trivets on the table. 

Tommy inhaled deeply and sighed. "Man, I've missed your cooking."

"I'll have to make you my version sometime," Evan said as they sat. "Bobby's been teaching me how to cook and I think I've got this one down. Eddie and Christopher like it, at least."

"You've got the chili down, too," Bobby said, "now that you know the secret ingredient."

"He told you his secret chili ingredient?" Athena asked, surprised. "I don't even know that."

Evan puffed out his chest. "Yeah, I pestered it out of him."

Bobby served up the lasagna, the salad and garlic bread were passed around, and they took a few minutes to enjoy their food. 

"Bobby, you have only become a better chef," Tommy said. "When you retire you should definitely open a restaurant."

Bobby laughed. "Thank you for the compliment but that is a stress I do not want in my retirement. I much prefer cooking for family and friends."

"The 118 really has become a family, hasn't it?" Tommy asked, somewhat wistfully. "I could see it heading that way when I left, but leaving was still the right move for me."

"You seem happy at Harbor," Bobby said. "I've heard nothing but good things from your captain."

"You checkin' up on me?" Tommy teased.

"Maybe from time to time," Bobby admitted. "You seem much freer since your time with us."

Tommy glanced over at Evan. "Yeah, when I started at the 217 I did it as an out gay man. Took a page from Wilson's book and made it clear that this is who I am."

"I heard a lot of stories about Captain Gerard when I started and I know what it was like under him. I understand why you didn't feel comfortable sharing that part of yourself. I'm glad you found somewhere that you can be you." 

"Yeah, Gerard was the worst kind of old school misogynist. I saw what Han and Wilson went through when they started and out of self preservation didn't want to have him treat me that way, too. It was cowardly, but it was also survival."

Evan reached over to squeeze his thigh under the table. 

"I am a bit surprised you didn't tell us about yourself, Buck," Athena said. "You seem to share so much of yourself with everyone that this caught us a bit by surprise."

"I, um, didn't actually know this about myself until recently," Evan said, meeting Tommy's eyes. "Not until Tommy kissed me."

Tommy wondered about the look that Bobby and Athena shared and wondered if it had something to do with Evan and Eddie's close friendship. 

"Well, I'm -"

"We're," Athena cut in. 

"We're very happy for you both. I'm guessing you haven't told the rest of the team, aside from Eddie?"

"That's correct," Evan said. "Well, Maddie knows. Pretty sure she hasn't told Chimney since he isn't bouncing off the walls trying to keep a secret."

"But they'll know soon, as I'll be Evan's date for his sister's wedding," Tommy finished.

"Now that's one way to come out," Athena said. "You sure you want to do that with your parents there?"

"I'm done trying to get their approval. We're never going to be close. If they can't accept that I'm dating a man now, that's on them."

Tommy could sense that there was a lot of bad blood there, but now was not the time to ask. He wondered if this had anything to do with why everyone called him Buck instead of by his name and wondered if he should be doing that too. But Evan hadn't asked him not to call him Evan; in fact, he seemed to like it. Tommy made a note to ask about that later.

"That's very mature of you," Athena said.

"What can I say, the therapy actually helped."

The rest of dinner progressed easily. Athena told them about Bobby's heroics after the ship capsized and his acrobatics to get Norman safely lowered to the new floor of the ship. 

Tommy told them about some of his more interesting rescues, although saving Bobby and Athena would be at the top of his list for a long time when telling stories to other people. 

When it was time to go, Bobby packaged up the leftover lasagna for Tommy to take home with him. Evan pouted about Tommy getting all of the leftovers and Bobby promised to make it at the station soon.

On the drive back to Evan's loft, Tommy asked, "Would you prefer if I call you Buck?" Evan turned to look at him. "It's just, I know that's what everyone else calls you."

"I-I kinda like that you don't call me what everyone else does," Evan admitted. "I always felt like such a disappointment as Evan, so when there were two other Evans in my class at the fire academy I started having people call me Buck. Buck wasn't a screw up. Buck was a firefighter who could get things done. Someone who mattered."

"You matter regardless of what you're called," Tommy interrupted. 

Evan reached out to clasp Tommy's hand on the gearshift. "I know that. And when you call me Evan, I don't feel like a disappointment. I guess you could say that you're a first step to reclaiming that name."

"So should I expect everyone else to start calling you Evan now, too?" Tommy asked.

"Unlikely," Evan said, laughing. "You've seen how no one calls Chimney 'Howie' anymore. Except for Maddie, sometimes."

"If at any point you change your mind, I will call you by whatever name you want," Tommy assured him. 

"Thank you, that means a lot," Evan answered. 

As they approached Evan's apartment building, he asked, "Do you want to come up for a nightcap?"

Tommy glanced over to see the hopeful expression on Evan's face and even though he knew he shouldn't, he found himself saying, "I'd love to."

so i've been thinking about long-term bucktommy stuff, and, im ride or die for this ship rn, i'm on this boat until it sinks. but i've been brainstorming about ways in which this series actually ends, more specifically how bucktommy ends.

i genuinely would be so down for them to be the endgame ship, even if it means we don't get to see Buck going on one-off dates with guys the same way he does with women (which i've kinda been plotbunnying abt in my head). but there's just no way to tell this far in advance, esp when we don't have the end of the show end in sight. so it's all just theories and speculation at this point.

but, i was wondering, yknow, if they do end with Buddie or even with Buck with someone else (or maybe he ends the show single! who knows!) I was thinking about ways which in which Tommy and Buck's relationship ends.

and i think the clearest answer is this: Tommy doesn't want kids.

we've know literally since the pilot that Buck has a soft spot for kids. for kids on calls, for his best friend's kid, hell, he's a donor dad. this has never been up for discussion and i think a lot of the fandom is in agreement that Buck should be a proper dad before the show ends. whatever that looks like, if it's just a step-up (pun intended) in co-parenting Chris or he has his own kid, via adoption or with a girl. anyway you look at it, by the end of the show, someone will need to have called Buck "dad". with how much they've built him up as loving kids, i'd be pretty upset if the show ends without that.

so, i'm wondering, like, if the plan isn't to have bucktommy endgame (again it's too soon to call one way or another, so this is just all hypothetical) then i think the clearest way to end their relationship as a late-series event would be that: Buck wants kids. Tommy doesn't.

it would definitely be a sucker punch, but i also think it would be interesting to explore how Buck handles this situation, where the relationship doesn't end because either person wants it too (Ali) or because his partners prioritized other things over Buck's feelings (Abby and Taylor) but because their outlook on life is simply different. it's a juxtaposition to all of his other relationships, and it would be an incredibly mature storyline to follow as Buck grapples with wanting to be with Tommy but knowing in his heart he couldn't live his life like that. it'd take a crazy amount of maturity on his end to go through this in a healthy manner, but i think a late-series Buck is developed enough to do that.

so, as much as it'd be heart-wrenching, if they don't go the bucktommy endgame for this show, this is a way in which i envision them ending their relationship. and don't get me wrong, i love the fics with Tommy being adorable with Jee or an OC adopted kid he has with Buck, and just overall loving kids as much as Buck, but we just don't know enough about his character yet to know properly if that is what his attitude is.

This is the last surname poll!! The very last one! PLEASE TAG IT I will never understand this mindset Why do people think appreciating one character means cutting another down?

I mean what purpose does it serve? Besides alienating people who like character A from an otherwise important post about how character B is important I mean people are free to hate who they hate it just feels odd to me that It appeared on my dash. A = Affection

Yeah...about that... 😅

Ollie has a cactus personality, prickly and harsh...so he doesn't have a clue about being affectionate and doesn't have a desire to be affectionate.

He will show you how he truly feels through his actions. Acts of service are his love language. He doesn't need to be physically affectionate to show he cares.

Accepting affection? If he knows you like it, he will accept the affection even if it feels weird to him...

B = Babies

Ollie doesn't believe he is good with kids and doesn't seem to have a desire to have any. But his older sister notices how well he does with their adopted sibling(?) Anita...

C = Cuddles

When first getting to know someone, he would cringe at the idea of cuddling since he's not the most affectionate person (as just mentioned).

Once he gets to know his romantic partner and trusts them, he would be willing to make them happy with cuddles if that's what they would want.

He would prefer for his partner to initiate cuddles because it just feels so awkward to him...but that could change! It could?

D = Domestic

Aquarians, like Ollie, have close relationships with their family members. Family members are very precious to them, but they don't show it openly. People they spend time with, including family members, are expected to be intelligent and trustworthy.

If Ollie trusts his lover enough, he will welcome them into his family...After all, his ideal partner will become his refuge (he has a whole song about this).

E = Ending

If he decided that things weren't working out, Ollie would be honest and say that he doesn't love you anymore. He would be willing to try and make things work if you wanted to, however.

If you break up with him, he would try to understand but he would beg you to try and work things out with him. If you didn't want to, he would accept your decision but would be heartbroken.

If his partner cheated on him, he would immediately want to end things and it would be a very long time before trusting someone again with his heart...He would never forgive his ex for the betrayal and would want nothing more to do with them.

He would never cheat in a committed relationship. He would rather be honest and end things than betray someone he loves/loved.

F = Fiance(e)

Ollie would be anxious in deciding on the right time to propose. He would seek the advice of his friends and family to decide what to do.

It would take a long time for him to open himself enough to want to settle down with the right partner...

Gentle with children because he views them as fragile and delicate. Anyone else, no he is not. He is respectful and slightly gentle with elderly people, however.

No. He isn't big on them. Will tolerate hugs and/or cuddles if it's family or his partner...

He would hug someone in his family or his partner who was in great distress or upset...

I = Issue(s)

Ollie very likely has PTSD. He was kidnapped as a child (this was discussed in the original storyline) and he saw his father assassinated by Leon (either he saw the murder or he found his dead father?).

If he isn't in a committed relationship, he doesn't care. He is undecided about you anyways...

If he's in a committed relationship, he absolutely gets jealous if you or the other person are a little too friendly or flirtatious with each other and will openly let the other person know to back off.

K = Kisses

Despite not being experienced, kisses from Ollie are one of a kind. His soft green lips will transport you to heaven...

L = Love

Ollie doesn't fall in love that easily. Once he decides to fully trust over time, then he can make a decision about loving someone.

When Ollie decides that someone is going to be his romantic partner, he will view them as his escape from the world; his refuge. He will put them on a pedestal above everyone else.

Ollie isn't a morning person. But he will wake up in the morning if he needs to (work, breakfast, morning sex, etc.)

Ollie is more of a night person so he will be more active in the afternoon and night...he can also dress in disguise and go out more when it's night than in the daytime.

Once again, no way. Ollie is not an open person. He is very reserved and defensive. He has a prickly personality like a cactus.

He will only open up to those he knows and trusts. And it takes a lot to get him to open up.

He can be patient, but he does get frustrated at times with waiting or by how long something takes...
