New Padawan

anakin x padawan reader x Ashoka + the 501st

A young twi'lek girl had finally reach the rank of padawan, and she had been summoned to meet with grand master Yoda. The grand master had shared some wonderful news with the girl, the gurl had been shocked by the new that was shared between grand master and padawan. Now she had began her journey of padawan hood and maybe soon jedi knight, she was living the temple she once knew so well and heading off world to start her frist stage of being a padawan.

y/n " ohh I can't believe I'm really here" you had walked off the republic ship that drooped you off, the republic was one planet that had recently joined the republic.

y/n " okay I need to find the masters" you had been give orders to join this misson under the orders by Yoda himself, and now you were trying to find the jedi masters. You were totally lost at first until you spotted some clone troopers.

y/n " maybe they can help" you were about to go up the clone until they spotted you, and made their way towards you.

???? " hey kid are you from the temple and republic base with all the supplies and mission report"

y/n " yes I'm padawan learner Y/n l/n"

???? " well hello there kid I'm Jessie and his Hardcase"

y/n " hello I'm also looking for the jedi master as well I have news from grand master Yoda to share"

hardcase " well come with us kid we will bring you to them" you had nodded your head and soon followed them, you felt very nervous about this situation as you are meeting well know jedi masters. You had only see them from a distance and never talk to them in person.

Jessie " don't worry kid there no battle here we are safe"

y/n " oh that good to know"

hardcase " well let hope your new is good kid we are going to need some good new right now" after some walking you soon reach a group of people that seem to be talking among each other, soon the two trooper stopped walking.

Jessie " sorry for interrupting the meeting generals and everyone but we have a guest here from the temple" soon everyone looked at you as you were standing there.

Jessie " this is padawan y/n she has arrived from the temple with the supplies and some new"

Obi-wan " welcome padawan y/n"

y/n " hello"

Plo koon " i was not told a padawan will be joining us after the misson has anyone been assigned a new student"

Obi-wan " not me yoda mention nothing to me at all"

Plo koon " nothing ti was well anakin and Ashoka"

Ashoka " well I did talk with master Yoda not to long ago but taking a padawan as I feel like I will be good teacher"

anakin " you are to young spins maybe the kdis here to be taught by one of us that have been here longer"

Ashoka " oh come on you don't trust me skyguy I can be a good teacher"

Obi-wan " enough both of you are acting like a child like the padawan speak"

y/n " thank you master kenbio well I have been assigned as master anakin skywalker padawan ...."

anakin " see I told you the kid has been assigned to be experience jedi snips maybe wait a couple more years"

y/n " well I have also be assigned as master ashoka tank padawan as well" everyone had gotten quite while looking at you as you were, sharing the news.

ashoka " see sky guy I did a padawan"

anakin "is has to be fake"

y/n " no master with all respect this has been set and decided on my grand master Yoda, if you wish to speak with him you can but he said it was the good idea and I cna learn from you both"

obi-wan " this had never happen before a padawan having two masters"

Plo koon" We will have to obey Yoda words and go with his decisions, this might be good for both of you in the end she can learn many things"

ashoka " looks like you are stuck with me for a bit longer sky guy, first we share the 501st and now a padawan"

anakin " yes it seems like that"

ashoka " well come on kid let me show you around and introduce you to the troopers see you all later" ashoka soon walked towards you and soon started guiding you away from the everyone as jessie and hardcase had left a while ago.

anakin " well master if you excuse me I most go help Ashoka with our padawan" anakin soon went after the two he was soon able to join them, as obi-wan and pro koon watched even they were confused about the move Yoda had done.

I LOVE Ahsoka and I think reader caring about her is the sweetest thing! I don't know how the hell did I written it so long, but boy here we go..

Genre: fluff

Warnings: swearing?, injuries, teasing by Snips and Skyguy mostly, fighting, bombs if that even count, if I miss anything let me know :)

Summary: Anakin and Ahsoka need a back-up.

Pov. Y/n

I was walking around a Star Cruiser, having nothing better to do.

- Master L/n!!!!

I heard someone shouting from behind me. I turned around and saw Ahsoka running my direction. When she catch up with me she stopped and tried to catch her breath.

- Yes, Ahsoka?

I asked, smiling.

I love this girl. She can always make me smile.

- First, my Master and Master Kenobi wanted to talk to you and they are waiting in the hangar. And second I wanted to ask you something.

I nodded letting her to continue.

- How do you do your super attack?

She asked waving her hands, trying to mime my super attack movements and we laughed.

- I will show you when we will get back on Coruscant, okey?

I said and she nodded. Her comlink started ringing.

- It's Admiral. I will see you later Y/n!

She said while running and waving me goodbye. I did the same and ran to the hangar.

I saw Obi-wan, Anakin and Rex talking. Obi-wan seem to notice me as he smirked and crossed his arms on his chest. I rolled my eyes and got closer to them.

- Hello Masters. Capitan.

I said and nodded at them. Anakin and Rex nodded back.

- I see your Padawan can be submissive sometimes, unlike you.

Obi-wan said still smirking. He stroked his beard with one hand and looked at his earlier Padawan. Anakin groaned.

- So what did you wanted to talk about?

I asked them putting my hands behind my back.

- Well... me and Rex have to go to the Admiral and make a new plan. So we will see you later Y/n.

Anakin said and walked away with Rex.

- So what now, General Kenobi?

He chuckled.

- Y/n.. stop with formalities when we are alone.

He said with a smirk.

- I see you have an amazing day today, Obi-wan.

I said with a sarcasm.

- It became better when I saw you. You want to go to cafeteria and eat lunch with me?

He offered me his arm and I gently grabbed it. We slowly walked to a small cafeteria and took some food and drinks. We sat down next to a table and shared a little chit chat.

- So how are you doing? We haven't talked in a while.

I asked.

- Mm... I'm fine. Nothing special.. What about you?

He said and put a spoon with a soup in his mouth. I rested my chin on my hand.

- Same.. I'm just bored lately.

- I see... maybe when we get back on Coruscant, I can keep you busy.

- Sounds nice.

I said with a smile and Obi-wan smiled back. I grabbed my drink and brought it to my lips, but I was interrupted by Obi-wan's comlink buzzing. He clicked a button and Anakin's figure pops up. He was defending himself with his lightsaber from blasters.

- Anakin, what's happening there?

- Ummmm... You know Master.. We have a little problem down here, and we might need some help!

- We will be there in a few.

Obi-wan said and stood up, pressing a button on his comlink. I stood up too and we ran to the hangar.

- We need to find Cody.

Obi-wan said and I nodded. I looked around and saw him standing in a corner, talking with another clone.

- Cody!!

I shouted and ran to him with Obi-wan following me. He straightened and looked our way.

- Yes sir, ma'am?

- We need you and boys to help us rescue Anakin.

He nodded and called for more clones and a few ships. Meanwhile Obi-wan informed Admiral about sending ourselves to help Anakin. He wasn't very happy with that, but thankfully he let us go.

When we started to take off, the ship shook a little, I tripped and fell on Obi-wan's chest. I felt my cheeks heating. I looked up at him and saw him smiling.

- Are you okey, darling?

If I wasn't blushing earlier, I'm definitely now!

- Y- yes, yes. I'm- I'm fine.

I stood up and dusted off my robes. He smiled and we heard pilot saying:

- We're gonna land soon. Be ready.

We waited a little and felt the ship land. The doors opened and we ran out off it, igniting our lightsabers and protecting ourselves from blasters.

- Anakin we are here.

I said to my comlink.

- Oh thanks Maker! We are on your right.

He said and we saw him, Ahsoka and clones running to us. Moments later we heard ships exploding behind us.

Great..

- We need to get to this cave and we will knock them out with rocks!

Anakin said and pointed at the cave inside a mountain on our left.

- You heard him, Cody! Let's go!

Obi-wan said with his nose scrunched and we ran deep inside the cave. When droids caught up with us we were defending ourselves with our lightsabers and slowly going backwards. I didn't see a rock behind me and I tripped over it. I closed my eyes already waiting for a pain to hit me, but it didn't come. I slowly opened my eyes to see Obi-wan holding me by my waist. I looked in his beautiful blue eyes, smiling as he was looking into mine, smiling too.

- Okey, you two. We have work to do!!

Anakin yelled and I immediately got up. We all closed our sabers and used the Force to push rocks on droids and close the entrance. It right away got dark and we ignited our lightsabers back on and clones turned on theirs headlights.

- We should get moving and find another exit.

Anakin said and we all looked around the cave. In the corner of my eyes I saw Obi-wan slowly sitting down. I turned to him and slowly walked his direction.

- Hey... You okey, Obi-wan?

I sat down next to him putting an hand on his shoulder and he hissed. I immediately pulled it away.

- I'm sorry! I didn't know- I-

- Shh... It's fine. I just got a little scratch..

He said calmly, putting his hand on mine. I looked at his shoulder and saw a hole and blood through his robes.

- I don't think it's that little.

I looked back at him and he smiled.

- I will be fine. No need to worry, Y/n.

He said as he slowly stood up. I was following him and his every move.

- Y/n.. I can handle this by myself. You really don't have to worry.

He said not looking at me and just going forward.

- I know...

I said quietly as we slowly made our way to Anakin and Ahsoka. They were arguing about something, but when we approached them they calmed down. Obi-wan crossed his arms on his chest.

- What was that all about?

Obi-wan asked.

- Oh, nothing. Just Snips can't follow my orders!!

- I already said sorry, Skyguy!!

They started shouting at each other again.

- Ahsoka, Anakin. Calm down!!

I shouted at them angrly and they finally stopped.

- Maker, can both of you stop arguing for a moment?!

I asked and they looked down with shame. We saw Cody and Rex, coming our way.

- Yes, Cody?

Obi-wan asked and looked his way.

- We found another exit, sir.

- Good. Now let's go.

He said and we followed them.

We slowly walked out of a cave to see that we are on a cliff and in front of us there are beautiful fields filled with flowers. Sun was slowly setting and the view was breathtaking. I was in total awe.

- It's- It's so beautiful...

I sighed dreamily. I looked at my friends who were looking at the view too. I saved the coordinates on my comlink.

- Sir. We have just got a map with marked droids army on it.

Cody said to Obi-wan and they walked away with Anakin. I slowly sat down on a edge of a cliff, still watching the view. I saw Ahsoka sitting down next to me and placing her head on my shoulder.

- I have never been to a place like this before..

She said and I nodded.

- Me too..

There was a comforting silence between us. Until I saw her yawning and closing her eyes.

- You look tired, Ahsoka..

I said quietly as she nodded. I put her head on my lap to let her lay down and rest for a little. It was already getting dark so I was sure we won't go anywhere and fight now. I gently petted her hair and face. She smiled and whispered a small thank you.

I smiled and looked back at the view in front of me. In the corner of my eyes I could see Obi-wan sitting next to me.

- We won't be going anywhere today..

He said quietly trying not to disturb Ahsoka. I smiled and looked back at her. Her breathing was steady and I could swear she was asleep. I looked at Obi-wan and saw that his shoulder was covered with a bandage.

- Felling better?

I asked, keeping my voice in whisper.

- A little bit.

He smiled.

- Only a little?

I asked rasing my brow and he chuckled.

- You are unbelievable...

He mumbled and I hit him on his side with my elbow, laughing.

- Ay!

He squealed and his eyes wided. He looked at Ahsoka, but thankfully she was still sleeping and he sighed with relief. I giggled and saw his eyes fall back on my face. My cheeks were light pink and I looked away. Obi-wan opened his mouth to say something, but was cut by Anakin.

- Is Ahsoka sleeping?

I looked at him and he crouched down, between me and Obi-wan.

- She is. She seem very tired..

I said softly and looked down on her. He stood up and went to my other side to pick Ahsoka up. He gently lifted her and slowly walked away from us. I looked where he was putting her and saw a little campfire behind us with clones, sleeping, chatting and eating. I smiled and saw Anakin laying beside Ahsoka and looking at me. He pointed at me, Obi-wan and a place to sleep across from them. I blushed and I saw him laughing. I looked back on fields with my head down.

Why can't I sleep with Ahsoka?! Of course he must know I have a crush on Obi and he is going to do that! Ugh!

I was overthinking and didn't even heard Obi-wan calling my name. Only his hand could bring me back to reality.

- Y/n? Y/nnnn!

I shook my head and looked at him.

- Are you okey?

He asked with worry in his voice.

Maker... why does he has to be this perfect..

- I'm fine.. Just thinking I quess..

I said and looked away from him. The sky was already dark and filled with stars. My eyes were searching for some known constellation for me. I gently lay down and watched stars. I couldn't find any constellations. I saw that Obi-wan was starting at me.

- You know it's rude to stare..

His cheeks became red as he looked away on a view in front of him. I laughed and patted a place next to my side.

- Come here..

He slowly lay down.

He isn't really relaxed.. I can sense it, but what if I...

- Obi.. Did you find any constellations?

I asked with a smile while looking at him.

- I did actually..

He answered, smiling back and his shoulders relaxed. He pointed his finger at many stars and tried to explain how constellations looks.

- I can't see it!

I said laughing.

- How can you not see it? It's right there!

He answered between his laugher. He pulled me closer to him and put his head next to mine. He pointed at the sky again.

- It's right here..

He said a little softer, almost like a whisper.

- And what was it called again?

I whispered to him.

- It's a Tookas.. It is a cute litte creature, but I'm not sure where it's from..

He whispered and nervously laughed. I giggled.

- It's okey.. I mean, you don't have to be a walking data pad..

He chuckled and turned his head to look at me. I turned on my side and faced him. Our faces were nearly touching. I took his hand in mine, locking our fingers together. He looked at our hands and then back at my face.

- Y- You know, Y/n... I think we should get some sleep. We need to be ready for tomorrow's battle..

He said softly, I frowned and nodded. We got up and went to our "camping place". A campfire went out and nearly everyone were sleeping, except sentries of course. Obi-wan looked around for a place to sleep and I immediately pointed at a small place across Anakin and Ahsoka's sleeping place. I slowly walked there making myself comfortable and lay down. Obi-wan looked around like he was nervous about this and I could swear he was searching for another place to sleep.

- Obi... please..

I groaned at him and patted a place next to me. He gently lay down next to me.

I'm so thankfull this place have a little grass on it, cause I swear if this would be rocks I would be up all night..

The cold breeze welcomed us and I shivered. Obi-wan noticed and put a blanket that lay next to us over me.

- Obi.. you have to be warm too..

I said tiredly and put a blanket over us both, bringing myself closer to him. He opened his mouth to say something, but I cut him off with a quick goodnight and a kiss on his cheek. I turned my back to him as I made myself comfortable. After some time I fell asleep.

I woke up by the sun and a sound of people talking. With still eyes closed and tiredness filling my body, I felt a nice warmth on my back and something squeezing my waist. I could feel some light breathing on my neck.

Oh.. kriff! This can't be Obi! How am I going to explain this?!

I slowly opening my eyes I saw Obi-wan's hands wrapped around my waist.

Yeah... great!!

I turned on my back and lifted my head a bit. I saw Anakin and Ahsoka laughing.

- Hello Y/n! How's your night?

I groaned at him and lay my head back down. Obi-wan's hands squeezed my waist a little. I looked at his face to see him opening his eyes.

Oh, Maker. I could get lost in this eyes..

He smiled and lifted himself up. Only to see his earlier Padawan crouching in front of him wiggling his brows.

- Anakin.

He said with clenched teeth and his nose scrunched. Anakin stood up and walked away with a laugh. I sighed and slowly bring myself up. Obi-wan did the same and took a blanket we were covered in and folded it. He put it in one of the clone's bag.

Clones handed us some food and we sat in a circle around a campfire, eating and chatting slightly. A friendly atmosphere was surrounding us all. I smiled at a feeling and took a bite of my sandwich. I was sitting next to Obi-wan and Boil. Ahsoka was sitting between Obi and her Master.

I stayed in my own world, listening to some conversations between clones and Jedi. Until Anakin said with a big smirk:

- So.. Obi-wan, Y/n... what happened yesterday?

I blushed and felt Obi-wan's hand taking mine in comfort. I squeezed it gently.

- Well... w- we were just talking and sharing our knowledge about stars..

I nodded not really being able to talk.

- Oh... I see...

Anakin said still smirking, but didn't ask more. I sighed with relief and took another bite of my sandwich. Obi-wan rubbed his thumb against the palm of my hand. I smiled and saw Anakin and Ahsoka looking at us, smiling.

When we all ate our breakfast. Obi-wan and Anakin showed us the plan to defeat droids.

- Okey. So first me, Obi-wan and clones are going to distract and fight droids on the main battlefield here.

Anakin said and pointed at a place between two mountains.

- Ahsoka and Y/n are going to get on speeders and destroy this big engine in the back.

He said and swiped his finger where we should go. I nodded.

- You need to be really careful, cause if you start an alarm the engine will close and you will be stuck inside with bunch of droids.

Obi-wan said with worry in his voice.

- Okey...

I said thinking. My head started filling with worry.

- So Snips, listen to Y/n and be really careful.

Anakin said to her and she nodded. They talked for a while and Obi-wan got closer to me.

- I'm sure you can do this, Y/n..

He said softly, putting his hand on my shoulder.

He must sensed my worry.

- I know I can..

I chuckled.

- But I'm just worried a little..

He nodded and sent me a comforting wave of Force. I smiled and put my hand on his which was laying on my shoulder.

- Thank you..

- No need too..

He smiled and we heard Rex shouting:

- Let's get to work everyone!

- We should go.. May the Force be with you, Obi.

I said and gently kissed his bearded cheek.

- May the Force be with you, Y/n...

He said and blushed lightly. I walked away.

- Ahsoka!! We need to go!!

I shouted and she ran to me. We jumped on two speeders and flew to the back of the Separatists' base.

We got off of our speeders little further from the base to not bring much attention to us. I clicked a button on the comlink.

- Boys. We are next to the base.

I said and looked around for any enemies, but saw no one.

Wow.. they are doing their job wonderful.

- Good to hear that. Good luck!

Anakin said and ended the call. Me and Ahsoka walked into direction of a base. After some time filled with silence, Ahsoka broke it.

- Y/n?

I hummed in response.

- Are you and Obi-wan..?

I chuckled, knowing this will go this way.

- No..

She nodded, but with confusion written on her face.

- We are just friends.. but I wish it was more...

I mumbled the last part, but she seem to hear that, cause she smiled.

- So you wish it was more?

She asked and I nodded slightly.

- I think it will be..

She said, smiling and looked my way with care. I smiled back.

- Okey. Let's focus on a mission, Ahsoka!

I said enthusiastically and we walked inside by the door.

- Hmm.. It's weird they don't have a code to it..

Ahsoka said and I nodded. I saw a small red line next to our feet. I immediately pulled my hand in front of her, making her stop. She looked down and saw it too. We took a big step forward trying not to touch anything.

When we reached the end of a hall, we saw a few droids and hid behind the corner.

- The Commander said to prepare the big, special cannon.

They said and walked away. Me and Ahsoka looked at each other and she pressed a button on her comlink.

- Master?

- Yes, Snips?

- You may have a little problem..

- We may? Like we don't have now..

He mumbled the last part.

- They are bringing a big cannon at you.

- Oh.. Maker! It's kriffing huge!!

He shouted.

- Get to work girls! We may not be able to get through this!!

Anakin shouted and Ahsoka ended a call.

- Let's get going.

I said and we entered the control room. I looked at a map and where engine could be.

- Here it is.

I said. Ahsoka and I destroyed a bunch of buttons and turned off a lever with power. We high five and ran away into the room with a big engine.

We turned right, right, left and maybe left again?

We are lost! Oh, come on!

- I think we are lost..

I said and Ahsoka grabbed my hand, dragging me behind her. She felt my confusion and said quiet Trust me. I nodded and we ran a little more.

Then we saw this huge engine.

- Okey, wait here. Look and yell if someone is going our way.

I said and jumped high with help from the Force. I landed on a scaffolding around the engine and throw some clock bombs on the engine and turned them on.

When I was about to jump down I heard Ahsoka yelling my name and lots of shooting. I immediately jumped down and ignited my lightsaber to help her.

We were defending ourselves from shots, but Ahsoka got shoot on her leg. She hissed in pain.

- Ahsoka!!

I yelled and ran to help her get up. I put an arm around her shoulder and swayed my saber to keep us alive. We quickly walked into a hall and I used the Force to throw some boxes at them and block an entrance. We walked into a small room next to a hall and I put Ahsoka down. I turned my lightsaber off and we stayed quiet as we heard droids behind the doors.

- Let's go and check all the exits.

- Roger. Roger.

We heard them talking and footsteps as they walk away. I sighed and saw a window covered in bars.

- Can you get out off this window, Ahsoka?

I pointed at a wall where window was and she nodded. I took my lightsaber and cut bars and glass. I put a box under a window and helped her get on it. I heard a buzz from my comlink, telling me there is only 30 seconds before blowing up the engine.

Ahsoka started to get herself out faster and I quickly followed behind her. When we managed to get out of the building we heard a loud bang and I immediately used the Force to push Ahsoka far away from this. I felt some big and heavy metal, rocks and Maker knows what else fell on me. I yelled in pain, but after some time I just blacked out from pressure.

I woke up to a feeling of a wind on my face. I tiredly opened my eyes and saw Ahsoka driving a speeder and her face was covered with worry. I sent a wave of comfort to her through the Force. She quickly looked at me and then back on a road.

- You did it.

She said and I chuckled, but immediately felt all the pain inside me.

- No... We did it...

She smiled.

- We are nearly there..

She said and I closed my eyes for a little.

When we finally get to place where everyone were waiting for us. Ahsoka wanted to help me get up, but Anakin ran to us.

- Oh, Snips! I'm so happy you two could make it! You saved us!

Anakin said, hugged her and helped her get to the medical clones. I smiled and felt a lot of dried blood on my face and pain to hit me again. I hissed finally letting myself be from being so strong in front of Anakin's Padawan. I was so focused on my current health that I didn't even saw Obi-wan running into my direction. His face was covered in small cuts with blood, dirt and dust. His robes were coated in dust and sand too.

- Oh Y/n! Are you okey?!? You don't look really good.. I thought I might lost yo-

- Obi...

I cut him off by putting my hands on his cheeks and pressing my forehead on his.

- I'm okey... I think I might just need a little bacta.

I said and he chuckled.

- I was so worried...

He whispered.

- I know...

I whispered back and pressed my lips against his. He was suprised at first, but moments later he kissed back. His lips moved with mine, almost like they belong together. He slowly wrapped his arms around my waist as mine locked behind his neck.

- I love you..

I managed to mumble to him in the kiss.

- I love you too...

He said when we pulled away. I pressed my forehead on his again and stared into his beautiful blue eyes.

- Have I ever told you that you have beautiful eyes, Obi-wan?

I asked with a laugh.

- I don't think so..

He answered with a smile. We stayed like this for a moment.

- I should get you to the medical station.

- Mm.. you should..

I said and jumped in his arms, giving him a small kiss on his cheek. With a big smile written on his face, he slowly walked into direction of a small tent in front of us. Behind it the sun was setting and the sky was filled with a buch of pretty colors, just fitting this perfect scene.

I couldn't have find better time..

I don't know. I started reading fanfiction and eventually wanted to try creating stuff myself. One additional factor might be that as a kid I kinda enjoyed coming up with stories, so once fanfiction was a thing that I knew existed it was probably kind of a natural next step.

Alright, I'll rec 3 fics, each from a different Star Wars fandom.

Padawan's Return - Not sure how familiar you are with Ahsoka Tano. But this is a fic where Fulcrum day Ahsoka gets dropped into the past to before Anakin was brought to the temple. And... two things: one, she doesn't manage to hide that she's vastly out of time from the Jedi, but she DOES manage to convince them that she's been brought FORWARD in time from the Sith Wars, and it's HILARIOUS; and two, she's dead set on killing Darth Vader... if only she could figure out where to look?

Unfortunately the comlink code the baby manages to telepathically convey doesn't connect to the baby's father. It DOES however connect to Jaster Mereel, because of course it does 😁.

A light in the dark

The surroundings around her were pure green, she’d chosen Takodana to rest and to consider what would be her next move. She never stayed in one place for too long, not after the clone wars or even before that. The planet was covered by forests and beautiful lakes. She thought about the early transmission she’d receive from Hera Syndulla. The war was finally over. She thought about Kaeden and Miara, where would they be now. She thought about Rex and how Hera told her how bravely he had fought in the battle of Endor. Then her thoughts went to her former master, he was gone, she couldn’t help but feel this pain in her chest, this Jedi called Luke Skywalker had defeated him and it didn’t take her long to connect the dots, after all, Skywalker was not a very common name. She pushed her thoughts away and parked her ship in an isolated part of the planet. The recently acquired A-Wing starfighter needed some repairs and she thought to herself how much she missed Artoo, the little droid always came in handy in times like this, and more than that, the astromech was a very good companion as well. Sleeping in the ship was an option but after days sleeping there, she felt like she desperately needed some fresh air so she shut down the engineers and started exploring the surroundings, searching for a place where she could sleep and soon found a cave with lots of green to meet the eyes around it. There was no sign of people anywhere close, that would do for the night. She needed to be alone.

After settling a campfire and eat a few portions of rations she had in her bag she felt the urge to meditate like something was almost calling for her. She took off her white cloak and carefully folded it putting it by her side. She then sat in her favourite meditation position and closed her eyes. She could feel her surroundings, the ground, all the living things in the forest of the planet, the distant sound of a lake. She expanded her vision entering a profound state of meditation, quieting her mind, and now she could hear the fireworks all over the galaxy celebrating the fall of the Empire, the oppression throughout the galaxy had finally come to an end, it had been a long time that she felt that connected with the Force. She looked deeper, trying to know where would she go next, and then she saw colours, a beautiful mixture of colours and a phoenix. She opened her eyes and knew what that meant, she needed to find Sabine, she had a promise to keep, together they would find Ezra Brigder. She looked at the sky, shining bright and carved with stars, it was dark as the fire started to burn slow. Suddenly she felt a familiar presence. She stood in her meditation position when she heard the voice that for so long she seeked in her meditations for guidance after order 66 and the rise of the Empire.

“Ahsoka”, said the familiar voice.

Her heart started beating fast, after Malachor, she thought she would never hear this voice again. She didn’t turn around, she knew he was gone and she was scared that if she looked the moment would slip away through her fingers.

“Anakin...”, she replied instead.

“I’m sorry, Ahsoka. For everything”

“No... I’m sorry. I left... I couldn’t save you”, said Ahsoka trying her best to control her emotions.

“It was never meant for you to save me. Don’t care this guilty with you, it’s not yours to bare”. She then fell a hand touching her shoulder and still trying to control her emotions she reached her hand to touch Anakin’s. He was there, at the same point he wasn’t.

“Yes... I heard of the new Skyguy”, Anakin smiled and although Ahsoka couldn’t see the smile she felt it.

“He did what I could not. And he saved me”, Ahsoka gave a softly smile.

“You must be really proud of him, I know Padmé would be”, she said remembering all of her moments with Padmé and knowing for sure the former Queen of Naboo and later senator of the Republic would be proud of both of them. She then paused for a brief moment and said “what are you doing here, Anakin, what are you now?”, her former master looked at her with his hand still resting on Ahsoka’s shoulder. “I am now in the light, you’ll know the ways of the Force”, she then vaguely remembered someone talking about becoming a Force Ghost, was it Master Yoda? She wasn’t sure, it was a long time ago, a distant past.

“I’m not a Jedi anymore, master”, she said.

“No, but the Force will never leave you, little one”. Hearing this almost made her break into tears but instead she gave a sarcastic smile and said “I’m not a little one anymore as well”. After a long pause, Anakin replied “no, you’re not... and I’m proud of what you’ve become, Snips”.

Ahsoka looked down trying to control her tears once more thinking about how much she hoped to find Anakin with that cocky smile calling her “Snips” after everything fell in the Galactic Republic and the Jedi Temple burned.

“You’ve como to say goodbye, didn’t you?”, said Ahsoka in a hurt voice.

“Yes...you still have a journey ahead of you. And before I go, I wanted to say goodbye”, Ahsoka now gave a smile as she replied “never took you for a softy guy... but I guess everything’s changed... Master, I never got the chance to thank you, for everything”.

She felt Anakin taking his hand off of her shoulder and heard his voice fading,

“I’m the thankful one for I had you as my Padawan. Goodbye, Ahsoka…”, he paused briefly and with an emotional voice he continued, “may the force be with you, Snips”.

She then dared to look behind her and saw her master’s luminous presence going away”, one last look as Anakin smiled at her and then vanished.

She looked at the starry sky, one tear falling down her face.

She laid down in the improvised bed she’d make and thought that there was still a lot to do, she would go after Sabine and fulfill her promise, but for now she just needed to sleep. She closed her eyes and said in a diminishing voice, “Goodbye, Skyguy. May the force be with you”, before falling in a deep peaceful sleep that she hadn’t had since she left the Jedi temple.
