Taking a Trip
Arne was more than excited to visit Vancouver for the first time. Everyone said that he could have easily seen beautiful mountains on a trip to Switzerland, but Arne wanted something a little bit extra inspiring on a continent he had never seen before. His life at home had become a little monotonous at his corporate job, and the dating pool was as unpromising as ever for a shy, reclusive man in his mid-20s.
With his frugal nature, Arne balked at the hotel prices in the city, and quickly found himself looking at short-term rental sites. The prices were, if possible, even worse. Finally, he followed a link to a retro-looking gay room-sharing website and saw an ad that read: “Shared room, accessible, perfect for tourists.” The price was well within Arne’s range, and it was within walking distance of transit. He booked it without a second thought.
It was only as the taxi drove away after dropping Arne and his suitcase on the curb that he had second thoughts. He followed the instructions the owner, Julian, had sent him and went around the small house to the back, where there was an external door to the basement. All around the door were skateboards, leaning on the concrete foundation, each with a unique design painted on its underside. As he knocked, Arne felt a tremor up his spine, like an anticipation of danger.
Before he could react in any way, he heard heavy feet and voices behind the door. With a clunk of the latch, the door swung open to reveal a young man with dark, curly hair and a thin moustache with no shirt on his tanned, muscular body. “What’s up, bro? You must be Arne,” he said in a deep, slow voice, holding out a big hand that engulfed Arne’s, even though they were the same size. “I’m Julian, your host.”
Arne opened his mouth to reply, but he lost his train of thought as an eye-watering stench poured off Julian’s bare, hairy muscles. He almost seemed to steam in the cold air. The smell was a mix of stale sweat, cooking spices, musky body odour, and, over all of it, the stench of weed.
After a moment, as Arne struggled to control the cough that threatened to burst out of him, Julian seemed to realise he was bare from the hips up. “Oh, sorry, bro,” he said, lazily backing away into the basement apartment. “I was, uh, busy.” He chuckled and moved away, grabbing a stained green shirt from an equally stained couch.
Reluctantly, Arne followed Julian through the doorway, and immediately realised that it was not only Julian who stank. The smell permeated the whole space, making Arne lightheaded. He wished that he had thought to bring air freshener in his luggage.
The basement suite was small, with low ceilings. Behind the couch was a counter to delineate the tiled kitchen, while in front of the couch was a low, beat-up table with a bong and other smoking paraphernalia scattered across it. To the side, a couple of doors led to what Arne hoped were the bedrooms and bathroom.
One door banged open, and another guy stumbled out into the living room. With a beanie over his dishevelled hair and his shirt on inside out, it was clear that he had dressed hurriedly. He looked over Arne with bloodshot eyes, his movements clumsy as he pulled on a thin jacket. “Hey man,” he grunted. As the man waved, another scent washed over Arne. This time, the skunk-smell was tempered with dried cum and a tangy, earthy flavour that hit the back of his throat.
“We lost track of time. Omar was just leaving.” At Julian’s gesture, Omar brushed past Arne and out the door. Arne turned to see him grab one of the skateboards leaning against the concrete stairs before the door shut behind him.
Arne was still shaking his head in an attempt to clear out Omar’s stench when Julian grabbed his bag. “In here, dude.”
Julian led Arne back through the door Omar had burst through into a room with two twin beds, exactly as small as Arne had feared. “Obvi, I won’t have guys over while you’re here, bro,” Julian said, handing Arne a spare key. “But if you like, we can always push the beds together for extra sleeping space.” He raised a lascivious eyebrow at Arne.
Blushing furiously, Arne made several aborted gestures. “Uh, no, no, no thank you,” he muttered, his accent thickening.
“Your loss, bro.” Julian raised both his arms to show his hairy armpits, posing as his musk assaulted Arne’s nostrils. “Just tell me if you change your mind, right? If you need me, I’ll prob-ly either be here smoking and painting, or over at the skate park, smoking and skating.”
Tumblr media
Chuckling dumbly, Julian left the room. Moments later, while he sat on his bed and trying to work up the courage to leave, Arne’s nose was tickled by a waft of thick, numbing pot smoke.
It was just a few days, Arne reasoned. He’d be out all day anyway. He probably wouldn’t even see Julian that much, even if they did sleep in the same room. Plus, with a quick check of his bank balance, Arne knew that any alternative sleeping arrangements would be utterly impossible.
Arne forced himself to stay out late that night, exploring Davie Street, but his jet-lagged brain forced him back to the basement suite by midnight. Disheartened at the sight of a light on in the tiny ground-level window, he unlocked the door and stepped inside.
Julian was painting a skateboard in the living room, a half-smoked blunt in one hand. Not even the acrid smell of the paints and lacquer could overpower the stench of weed and musk in the tiny space. “Evenin’, bro,” Julian slurred as Arne blinked his eyes and tried to adjust to the thick, musky atmosphere. “Hey, come sit with me.”
“I have to go to sleep,” Arne protested, even as he walked to the spare seat on the couch and lowered himself into it. He remembered that he had resolved earlier not to touch the couch, since it was covered in who knew what kind of stains, but it was already done.
“No worries, this’ll help you sleep, bro,” Julian said, waving away Arne’s excuse with his blunt and then taking a deep pull off of it. He blew a stream of smoke into Arne’s face.
Arne spluttered. “Wh-what the hell!” He’d smoked a few times, but he was hardly a stoner. He could already feel a contact high working its way through his system, loosening his muscles and overwhelming him with sleepiness. For some reason, it also left his body feeling strangely tight.
“What design should I put on this board?” As he spoke, Julian leaned back on the couch and laid his arm across the back. Through the haze in his mind, Arne realised Julian was shirtless again, with musky sweat dripping down his sides from the bushes in his armpits.
Julian was still talking, something about dragons and complementary colours, and Arne just nodded along, too fixated on Julian’s body to care. He had never liked smelly guys, but something about Julian had Arne’s cock flooding his boxers with precum.
As Julian took another hit off his blunt, Arne realised that he could smell the salty tang of his precum in the air. Looking down, he could see a slick, spreading stain on his jeans. How long had he been sitting here? He thought that he should be embarrassed, but working up shame seemed like so much effort. He was so relaxed, sitting here on the couch, breathing in Julian’s sexy musk and clouds of pot smoke.
The rest of the night was a blur. Arne was so tired. He vaguely remembered Julian’s face looming over his, dripping sweat into Arne’s mouth. At some point, Arne thought he must have taken his shirt off because he got so warm and sweaty sitting on the couch. Finally, they had moved to the bedroom, where Julian had kept talking while Arne tried to calm his dripping cock enough to fall asleep.
Arne woke up slowly the next morning, cocooned in the scent of musk and weed. He started to roll over, but realised suddenly that there was a pair of sweaty arms around his chest. One of Julian’s fingers brushed across Arne’s bare nipple, and he moaned uncontrollably as a spark of pleasure shot to his slick, precum-smelling crotch.
His face burning with embarrassment, Arne carefully extricated himself from Julian’s bed and stumbled to the bathroom. He wondered why his body felt strange and top-heavy until he switched on the light. In the mirror, he saw a pair of massive pecs on top of his slender torso, the big nipples erect and pink.
Tumblr media
Despite his horror, Arne still found himself feeling oddly horny. Looking further down, he saw an unfamiliar, half-hard cock between his bare legs—he had slept naked!—still leaking thick, clear precum that gathered in big drops before falling to the floor.
There was something seriously wrong with this apartment, and with Julian. Arne struggled to think, but the scent of his precum was quickly filling the little bathroom, making his head foggy. He had to…He had to…He had to touch his fat man tits.
Arne watched in the mirror as he popped his sweaty pecs, and then grabbed them with one hand. Not only were they real, they bounced hypnotically as he kneaded at the muscle. A finger brushed over his pert nipple, and Arne moaned again. His voice sounded strange. A little bit too deep, and slower than he was used to.
Would he feel even better if he pinched his nipple? As Arne went to grab his opposite nip, he struggled to remember what he had been thinking about. It had been something way more important than his bouncing pecs…
The thoughts dissolved as Arne started to tug on his sensitive nipple. He moaned loudly, his legs buckling as jolts of pleasure engulfed his body. The trickle of precum from his cock grew into a continuous stream as he knelt on the bathroom floor, mindlessly tugging on his pecs.
Arne barely noticed the bathroom door open until a pair of strong arms grabbed him under his shoulders and started to haul him to his feet. “No cumming yet, bro,” said Julian’s relaxed drawl next to his ear. “You’re not nearly done yet.”
By the time Julian handed Arne a plate of poptarts, Arne’s horniness had mostly faded back to a low hum, which spiked at the scent of Julian’s unwashed armpits. Arne wondered if he should feel embarrassed to be sat, naked, on Julian’s couch, his insistent cock still slowly leaking tangy precum onto the seat.
“Yesterday was a lot for you, huh bro?” Julian said through a mouthful of poptart. “I bet you just wanna stay here and hang out with me all day.”
Arne frowned. He was supposed to go to the suspension bridge today…No, that sounded like a lot of work. He’d much rather hang out with Julian. He had no idea why he’d thought Julian was gross or uncool. His smell was utterly intoxicating.
“What were you planning to do today?” Arne asked, after he’d eaten a few bites.
Julian shrugged, shedding runnels of sweat from his pits. “I was gonna go to the skate park and hang with some bros, but you need me more, bro.”
“What do you mean?” Arne was independent! He didn’t need Julian around! But it did feel nice to have someone hot and manly like Julian looking out for him, he realised.
“You can’t be left alone right now, bro.” Julian had finished his breakfast, and started to set up the bong on the coffee table. “So we’re gonna hang out, I’m gonna smoke, and then you’re gonna help me with some boards.”
Before long, Arne was floating comfortably, a little stoned from how much smoke billowed out of Julian’s sexy mouth. Julian got to work painting a skateboard, but after a few minutes he turned to look at Arne, a strange smile on his face.
“Come over and help me, bro.”
When Arne slid down to the floor next to Julian, his host raised one tanned, muscular arm. “I’m so sweaty, bro,” Julian said. Arne agreed, watching a rivulet of sweat emerge from the dark hair in Julian’s armpit, adding to the heady musk in the room. “If you could just, like, lick it up for me, I’ll be able to focus so much better.”
Arne frowned. That didn’t seem like it would help at all. But before he could protest, he felt a strong hand on the back of his head, and Julian was pushing him into his musky armpit.
The smell overpowered any of his protests. Julian’s musk was baked into his skin, and taking it straight from the source was far more intense than smelling him at range. The smell of sweat filled Arne’s mind, and he started to lick and suck at Julian’s armpit hair without realising it. The rank taste filled his mouth and trickled down his throat, and Arne felt his leaky cock start to flow again. He couldn’t imagine anything hotter than this. As Julian kept painting, he moaned whenever Arne’s tongue pushed against an especially sensitive spot.
As he laved his tongue over Julian’s tight belly button a while later—time didn’t really matter—Arne started to feel itchy all over his body. As he ran a hand over his arms, he felt the resistance of thick hair. All over his body, Arne felt long hair growing. Before long, his precum didn’t even fall onto the skin of his hairy thighs, it just got lost in the hair.
With his new fur, Arne found himself sweating at least as much as Julian in the heat of the little room. When Julian took a break from painting to grab some lunch, Arne noticed a new smell filling the air. He was emitting his own flavour of musk now, like Julian’s, but with a bit more of a richness to it from the precum dripping between his legs. He couldn’t help but give his armpits a sniff, licking up what he could reach of his own taste.
Tumblr media
Julian returned and grinned at Arne. “Damn, bro, you’re almost ready.”
“What?” Arne looked up at Julian. It felt like he was seeing through a thick haze. It was so hard to think. He had to get outside and get some fresh air. But where were his clothes?
Julian held out a brownie for Arne. “Here, bro, this’ll help that brain of yours along. It’s my special blend.” He winked a dark eye, and Arne obediently took a bite of the brownie from Julian’s hand.
While Julian got back to his painting, Arne felt himself feeling slowly, but insistently, hornier. From licking up the sweat at the top of Julian’s back, he moved lower and lower, until he was licking at the very top of Julian’s musky asscrack. His cock felt iron-hard and huge against his thigh, a continuous stream of precum trickling into his sweaty leg hair.
Julian groaned. “Oh, bro, if you’re gonna get in there, let’s do it for real.” Putting the freshly finished board aside, Julian rose to his feet and pulled Arne up as well.
Arne felt so tall. The floor was so far away. All he could see was his hairy belly and thick, drippy cock as he followed Julian through the door to the bedroom. Then, all he could see was Julian, lying on his back with his legs hooked over Arne’s hairy shoulders. At last, Arne was back in a place that made sense, looking into Julian’s asscrack, licking up the musky sweat on his firm cheeks.
As his tongue dove into Julian’s hole, Arne remembered the first time they had skateboarded together. With his natural musk, it was hard for Arne to make friends with other skaters, but Julian had skated right up to him and invited him back to his place.
As he lined his cock up with Julian and rubbed his copious precum over the shaft, Arne remembered growing up in Vancouver. Dealing weed had been fun before legalisation, but now his job at the dispensary was pretty easy. Arne spent most of his time perfecting his skating tricks or smoking up with Julian or their other musky skater friends.
As he thrust against Julian’s prostate and felt the smaller man begin to tighten around him and cum, Arne remembered how much he loved his buddies. He was the big guy of the group, with his big, hairy muscles and fat, leaky cock. He wasn’t much of a thinker, but he’d do anything for Julian and his bros.
With that thought, Arne felt his balls tighten against him as he unloaded a huge, creamy load in Julian’s ass. As he shuddered, collapsing on top of his bro, there was a knock at the door.
“Fuuuuuck, that’s my next guest,” Julian groaned, whining a little as Arne pulled out. In addition to selling custom skateboards, Julian made extra cash by renting part of his room to gay tourists. Arne loved Julian’s musky, pot-smelling basement, so he thought that sharing the space a bit more was a great idea.
Julian pulled a pair of relatively clean sweatpants up his legs and wiped the worst of his cum off his chest with one of the shirts on the floor. “Just grab some clothes, bro,” he said over his shoulder as he shut the door behind himself.
As he pulled on his XL sweatpants and grabbed his hoodie, Arne listened to Julian introducing himself to this new guy. “What’s up, bro? You must be Yadu. I’m Julian, your host.” The spiel sounded strangely familiar. Careful to leave the hoodie unzipped so he wouldn’t stimulate his oversensitive nipples, and careless of Julian's cum slowly drying in his chest hair, Arne crammed a beanie over his hair and stepped into the living room.
A shrimpy African guy was looking in horror at the room, a small suitcase hanging from his weedy arm. Arne waved at him, and the guy looked like he was about to gag as a wave of Arne’s thick, precummy musk washed over him.
“Sorry, bro, we lost track of time.” Julian was pulling on a shirt in the kitchen. “Arne was just leaving.”
Nodding to Julian, Arne brushed past Yadu and headed out the door, grabbing his skateboard from where it was leaning against the wall. He had to go meet up with Omar at the skate park anyway.

Could I request headcanons of Jason Todd with a reader who is a talented chef and baker?
Tumblr media
Jason loves, loves, loves to eat but he loves to eat whatever you make especially.
It’s just so damn good and enticing that he can’t help but want to steal a bite while you were working your magic on some cookie dough in the kitchen.
Jason likes to claim he’s helping you when in actuality he was just being a little shit.
You still remembered the time where you had caught Jason red hand eating something he shouldn’t have, and still have the audacity to look at you with his attempt at puppy dog eyes.
He should be lucky you like him enough to make him whatever he wanted in bulk, seeing as how he had quite the appetite as you’ve once watched him wolf down four homemade burgers, chips and still found room in his stomach to indulge in something sweet.
You couldn’t count how many times you had to swat him away with your spatula when you saw his hand creeping towards a cooling tray of gooey double chocolate chip cookies.
‘Jason!’ You exclaimed. ‘Stop trying to eat the cookie before they’ve had time to cool down!’
‘But sweetheart it’s not my fault that your cookies are so good! They even maintain that gooey chocolate chip goodness that you know I like.’ Jason says as he hugs you from behind, pressing kisses into your shoulder, neck and head.
‘You’re just buttering me up so that I’d give you an early taste.’ You pouted, looking away from him as you feigned hurt. ‘Admit it, you’re only with me for the fact that I can cook and bake your favourite things.’
Jason, feeling a little bad for making you think that, was quick in having you look at him as he apologised. ‘I’m sorry chipmunk, you know I love you beyond your ability to cook food and sweet treats and make it look like an art form. How about I help you cook tonight or let me took for you instead to make up for it?’ He asks as he kept you close to him and planting kisses across your face.
His lips tasted very much like the chocolate chip cookies and after a while you just couldn’t keep up pretending to be mad at him and smile into his lips as you kissed him back before inevitably pulling away. ‘That sounds perfect jay bird but let me cook and you just stand there and look pretty.’ You cheeked as Jason gasped.
‘You only like me because I’m pretty? How shallow of you chipmunk.’ Jason joked and you couldn’t help but kiss his lips once more. ‘I like you because you’ve got a bottomless stomach.’ You then playfully prodded at his tummy and Jason jolted at the touch, which made you laugh as you went back to what you were previously doing before Jason interrupted.
‘Can I at least have a nibble?’ Jason asked after a moment of silence against your neck.
‘No, I think you’ve already had enough nibbles don’t you?’ You asked with a smile as you felt Jason pout.
‘Mean.’ He muttered childishly.
‘Mean is you eating the cookie dough and saying oops after I caught you.’ You replied and Jason stayed silent after that.
Jason hyped up your cooking and baking simultaneously and would praise your natural talent for it to anyone with ears to hear him, which had lead to one or many instances where his friend Roy or his family came over to see what all the hype was about.
Needless to say you’ve gotten more people who were obsessed with your baking/cooking and as for Alfred? You were sharing recipes and what techniques you use when prepping food, the usage of spices and herbs and so on in hopes of enhancing the flavour of the dish.

melissa schemmenti x reader
this is from a request; melissa had forgotten she'd invited janine and jacob for a cooking lesson and the pair of you have to hope they don't catch on to your relationship
brief kissing, just fluff and humour if you find it funny - if you don't find it funny then just pretend i never suggested there was humour involved <3

Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Melissa drove you home from work, just as she always does; the sight of her behind the wheel will never fail to make you swoon, you’re sure. The way her hand finds its place on the headrest of your seat when she reverses from her favourite parking spot, and the way it sits comfortably on your thigh while your fingers play with the ends of her hair. Her hands grip the wheel in a way that mesmerises you, all thoughts on her rather than anything else. It’s a perfect way to de-stress after a chaotic day of work, though.
And, after today, you needed the reprieve. Working with young children is never the easiest job but with more than one type of liquid spilt on your shirt and a friendship feud that you were left to resolve, keeping your attention on your girlfriend was more than necessary.
“Oh my God, I’m exhausted,” you sighed when you could finally slump into your favourite spot on Melissa’s sofa. She looked at you with the soft smile she reserved for you, hanging up her jacket before taking up the place next to you.
“I know, hon,” she breathed, pulling you into her side with an arm snaked over your shoulders. “But, it’s the weekend soon,” she added.
“Mel, it’s Tuesday,” you returned through a pout, one that made her laugh against you. You felt her breath against your temple as well as her lips as she spoke.
“I was trying to make you feel better,” she laughed with a shrug. “Why don’t you head up for a shower, and I can make us that pasta you like.”
“That sounds perfect,” you mumbled, uttering a whispered ‘I love you’ against her lips. Kissing her was something you could never grow tired of; it made you feel complete, worries of the day easily wiped clean with just the taste of her vanilla-flavoured lip balm.
You never know quite how much time passes when her tongue slips into your mouth and her hands take claim of your waist. It all fades away with her, the auburn-haired enigma you’re so lucky to be loved by. And when it’s time to part for air, your head always swims.
“Go on, babe, I’ll leave your favourite hoodie out on the bed,” she spoke once she’d pulled away with pink-hued cheeks.
You’d practically moved into her home with the way you comfortably make your way to the shower, sighing in relief under the hot water with the soap you always use gliding suds across your skin. Her wardrobe hung your clothes, ones you’d left behind over the months; they smelled just like her and sat on hangers mixed in with her own.
Even on the occasional nights you spend at your own apartment, she leaves your side of the bed empty - and, of course, you only toss and turn, counting down the seconds until you’re back at each other’s sides.
Once you’d dried your body on a towel she’d warmed for you, you pulled the hoodie over your head. The Eagles logo was faded from years of wear; it held remnants of her spiced perfume, and the small tear in the sleeve was just as familiar as the way the softness of the material fell against your back.
Your steps faltered, however, once you’d begun your descent back downstairs. You heard the sound of two more voices that were certainly not present twenty minutes ago, and they seemed dreadfully familiar.
“I’m so sorry, I totally spaced - I’ll make it up to you,” Melissa hurried out in a whisper as soon as you walked into the hallway. She’d pulled her hair back and changed into the denim shirt she looks so perfect in - you wished you could kiss her.
“Oh my God!” Janine practically squealed as soon as you sauntered in; the two of you paused in your stride at her exclamation, immediately trying to conjure up counterarguments for any accusations that may be thrown your way. “I didn’t know you were coming too - this is so exciting,” she beamed.
Melissa sometimes teases you for your significant soft spot for the overly joyful woman and she smirked at the way you returned her enthusiasm - partly due to the relief of your secret relationship with the woman not being aired out.
“Yeah, Melissa let me tag along,” you shrugged with a smile that matched her own. “I got here a little early.”
“I was honestly so surprised she’d even let one of us into her house,” she added, quiet enough for Melissa to not hear. “She’s a softie under all that ‘I’m gonna give you a black eye, ya gabortz’ facade she puts on,” she added with an impression of Melissa you couldn’t help but laugh at.
You appeased your girlfriend’s impending retaliation when she shot a glare in your direction, halting her with an amused smile and a shake of your head.
“Yeah, she puts up somewhat of an…aggressive front,” you returned, smirking discreetly at the woman who stared at you incredulously, adding the next part in a whisper. “But she cares. And she cares a lot more about you than you might think.”
She didn’t question how you might know that as she was too busy bounding her way over to the others with a spring in her step and an antsiness in her demeanour that made it obvious she was forcing herself not to pull Melissa into a hug she would despise.
“You best not be goin’ around ruinin’ my street cred,” you heard in your ear, muttered lowly with a teasing poke into your side whilst Jacob and Janine were sufficiently distracted with the task of chopping vegetables.
“I think there’d have to be some there before it could be ruined,” you laughed, sauntering away from the glare she gave you. She tried to hide her smile, but you both knew her tough act had no effect on you whatsoever.
The inquisitive pair only shared a brief look at the way the two of you easily manoeuvred around the kitchen; they put it down to a budding friendship in their hushed whispers. Or maybe you’re as much of an expert when it comes to cooking as the older woman. That must be why you so easily work around one another. Whatever quiet conclusions they thought of, they didn’t consider a romantic explanation for a second.
You stepped past her to stir the pot of sauce as she instructed, and she was much less abrasive with her tuts of disapproval when anything was done outside of her expectations. The other teachers felt the brunt of her accusations of incompetence, but nobody batted an eyelid at her usual attitude. They both just smiled through it, happy just to have been invited.
“Oh, I didn’t realise you were such a football fan,” Jacob mused, eyeing the team logo you were sporting as he helped dish the pasta into containers. Melissa had been gracious enough to offer a cooking lesson, but she couldn’t bear to let them stay to eat it, too. You could see the headache forming already. “Is that how you two became friends? I mean, you seem pretty comfortable around each other.”
“Yeah,” you nodded - hopefully convincingly. “I’m a big fan - go Eagles.”
Melissa hid her laugh behind her hand at the less-than-excited fist pump you lifted into the air. The only knowledge of the sport you truly have is that your girlfriend loves it; you’ve picked up a minimal amount of technical jargon during her dramatically loud viewings on the TV, but you generally just watch it aimlessly. And in boredom that she would only tolerate if it was emitted by you. Countless naps have been interrupted by her explicit exclamations at the screen, angry mutters of profanities you’ve learned to just sleep through.
“Heard they won a game the other night, you see it?” he questioned; it felt like you were in an interrogation and you were just waiting for Janine to step in as the role of good cop to his bad cop routine. You looked over to Melissa for confirmation, earning a nod in return - you vaguely remember falling asleep not long after her first groan of annoyance.
“Yeah,” you nodded, looking back at the woman behind him to read her lips and hand movements telling you the score. “31-17, pretty exciting game.”
“Who were they playing against? I’m sure Zach told me, but y’know, I just tune him out a little and google it after.”
You had to hold your amusement back at the overt gestures being made by your girlfriend, trying to somehow telepathically understand what she was attempting to explain. With her arms flailing around and her mini game of charades depicting what you assume was ‘swimming’, you finally understood.
“The dolphins,” you spoke, earning a thumbs up. “Miami Dolphins,” you added smugly. You do listen to Melissa when she rambles on about the games; you just forget most of it. “They better get rid of Johnson though, if they wanna up their game.”
Luckily, the conversation was soon steered elsewhere and not long after. the excitable teachers left, but not without Melissa having to dodge a hug or two.
“You better hope Jacob doesn’t go around telling everyone about Johnson holding the Dolphins back,” she chuckled as soon as the front door closed behind her.
“Why’s that?”
“Because he doesn’t exist, hon,” she laughed. “You and I both know you pulled that name outta thin air.”
You knew you flew a little too close to the sun with that one, though if it comes to it, you’ll both convince Jacob he misheard.
“Can we just eat now?” you frowned, huffing with a faux glare whilst she continued to laugh at your expense. “I’m hungry, ya gabortz.”
“That girl knows, fully well, its gagootz,” she groaned. “She’s the gabortz.”

Blushing at what the alpha said, you slurped up a bit more of the stew. There were a few greens and vegetables in it, and with quite a bit of kimchi that was cut into bite-size pieces, the meal had a strong flavour.
The broth tasted a little like seafood but was also meaty, and it was just good. You enjoyed the meal.
„Babycheeks, here have some of this. It's good for you.” Taehyung said, chopsticks already right in front of your mouth. Biting into the daikon, you let the crunchy vegetable calm your slightly burning mouth.
Humming softly, you nodded at his watchful eyes. „It's nice; thank you, Tae.” Smiling at you widely, the alpha softly patted your head.
„Is the stew too spicy, princess?” The other alpha asked, noticing how your nose scrunched up a little with every other bite. You didn't want to seem disrespectful towards them; they prepared a meal for you so nicely, and you didn't want to seem ungrateful.
Smiling a little, you were just about to shake your head before you were interrupted.
„It definitely is, isn't it, Pup?" Namjoon answered instead of you, his voice going into a more worried tone. Looking towards his eldest packmate, who sat a few seats away from him, he stood up quickly.
„Shit, I'm so sorry, baby cub. I didn't mean to make it that spicy; here, let me help, sweetie...no peaches, let alpha do it.” Jin said, bending over you and scooping up some of the kimchi pieces into one of the empty bowls lying around.
Whenever you attempted to do so too, going to dig around with your spoon to also place the pickled vegetables in the dish, your hand was gently pushed to your lap, Jin tutting at you softly.
Yoongi too stood up, and a cup held under the faucet was quickly filled with warm water. Once the other alpha stepped out of the way since he got a big part of the main spice out, the younger man poured the water into your bowl, filling it back up again.
Now it was a lot less seasoned, so it was a lot milder for you. Thanking him softly, you felt him gently rub his chin over the top of your head, caressing you lovingly.
„It's okay, kitty. Try it now; is it better?” Tasting it again, you nodded your head gratefully. It helped a lot, so you continued on, chewing on pieces of boiled onion and tofu.
„Im glad cub.” Smiling at Jin's comment, you finished up the dinner with no problems. Making light conversation with the other men about your favourite movies and such, the evening continued calmly.
Finishing the peach juice you had been so nicely poured, you let Jungkook take a hold of your palm, slowly pulling you out of your seat.
„Do you want to play a game with me, Tae, and Jimin? We have a completely new one; would you like to see, baby?” Bending over you, he ruffled up your hair before he tamed it back down and brushed it behind your ear.
„What game is it?” You asked, already walking with the alpha towards the couch. The TV was turned on, the menu shining brightly with the settings turned on.
Taking a seat on the couch next to Jimin, you watched over the two other men sitting before you. Taehyung already had a controller in his hands, smiling when he saw you. His eyes were excited.
„It's Resident Evil 7, babycheeks. It came out a few years ago, but we didn't play it yet.” Tae murmured, adjusting the brightness of the screen and the loudness.
„Yah, you know it's a horror game, Kook-ah. Let the poor thing rest; she will get scared like this. Princess, go run up to the other alphas now; this won't do you any good, baby.”
Jimin frowned at his packmates. They knew more than well how sensitive omegas can be about this stuff, especially right before bed. He didn't want you to have bad dreams.
„But hyung! We are here; it won't be that scary!” Jungkook whined, his voice loud. He wanted you to see how good he was in games, plus, this was one of the easiest ways to also show just how fearless he was.
He won't get easily startled, even with jump scares around, and that should surely impress you; he was sure of it.
„No, Jungkook, absolutely not. Come here, peaches, do you want to see the music studios we have here? You'll like them; there is a lot of interesting stuff. Here, I'll take you, sweet cub.”
Quickly shuffling over when he heard the light commotion, Jin could understand Jimin's worry. This could end very wrongly, and they were taking no chances.
Walking over from cleaning up the kitchen, the alpha picked you up easily, hands under your arms, and pulled you to his chest, securely holding you up.
Without having any time to even protest, you just complied, smiling sadly at the forced whine coming from the two youngest alphas. Resting your cheek over the wide shoulder Jin had, you let him walk towards the walkway that was to the right of the stairs.
There were quite a few rooms in the house with a lot of different purposes, but the outside heated pool was Jin's personal favourite. They had a large garden that Namjoon enjoyed taking care of so much, but the 20-meter-long pool was just perfect.
It was covered, but now it was way too cold out to go swimming. The air was icy, so there was steam coming out of their mouths whenever they were outside.
Plus, even if they did take you right now, the snow that covered everything in such a thick layer would be just too harsh on your bare skin when you were on your way back inside.
They could carry you back inside, though, the thought had the alpha rethink his decisions. They just might take you swimming some time when they all have a few free hours.
Smiling at you when you looked at him and noticing the thoughtful gaze he held, Jin knocked on the first studio doors that were in the hallway. Snuggling closer to his neck, you breathed in the soft Yasmine smell, the warmth from the alpha's chest comforting you even more.
After a few seconds, the frosted glass doors opened, and Hobi in blue light-blocking glasses appeared before you two. Immediately, when he noticed you in his older packmate's arms, he smiled widely, cooing at you.
„Aigoo, did you come to visit me, sunshine?" Chuckling, he lifted you up from Jin, holding you to his chest himself. Combing his fingers through your hair, the eldest let the smallest bit from his wrist's scent glands linger.
„I'll go finish up in the kitchen now cub, okay? Call if you need anything, peaches. Stay with Hobi for now, though.” Smiling sweetly at you, he caressed your cheeks gently. Nodding up at him, you held onto the red hoodie Hoseok was wearing.
Paired with a pair of cotton off-white loose sweatpants, he only had white socks on, comfortably clothed for the finishing touches he still had to do for one song tonight.
He and the other rapline members had a planned session tomorrow morning at BigHit with a few of the managers, so he needed to prepare some stuff for him to be able to show them.
Closing the doors after himself, the alpha whistled a tune he made into a song a few days ago, easily carrying you with only one hand and pulling the turning chair out.
Taking a seat, he placed you on his lap, letting you loop your legs through the arm rests, loosely hanging them by the sides of the chair.
Patting your lower back in a settling pattern, you rested your body fully against his chest, just breathing in his scent and presence for the moment.
There were a lot of things around the studio; the large wooden desk had a bunch of things carefully placed on it, and the two large speakers on the sides of the monitor quickly pulled your attention when you first looked over the room.
Hobi had an almost black beanbag chair on the floor, close to the entrance, that had a giant red and white SUPREME cover that moved in the breeze. Behind the pillow chair was a standing black shelf filled with many colourful dolls and statues.
Gently turning from left to right in the chair, the alpha swayed you both around.
„Hm.. do you want to listen to the song I'm working on, bub? It's almost done; I just need to fine-tune a few things.” Looking over, you let the man help you sit so you could face the big monitor yourself.
Placing a pair of big headphones over your head, he adjusted your hair so none would be caught under them, itching you. Any sounds from outside were suddenly blocked out so well that you were stunned a little.
You loved listening to music; you did it very often when creating, at school or at home, when you were walking anywhere or just in the bus; it just eased your mind a lot.
But since you didn't have much money to spend on any good headphones, you were left with a wire pair of black earbuds that sometimes just stopped working.
Still, you did use them quite often, even when they would push at your ears after a long time of wearing them, making your ears hurt a little.
You heard about the sound-blocking effect a few higher-quality headphones had, but you never had the chance to try it out yourself, so this was very new for you. You liked it a lot, though.
Hearing only the lightest sound of the man's laugh, he turned on the track, music playing in his ears. It sounded like it was being played for you live with how high quality the audio was, your lips parting slightly at that.
The song itself was awesome too; the singing was great and the rap even better. You enjoyed it a lot. When it ended, you looked over at the alpha, and your eyes widened with wonder.
Taking off the headphones for you, he placed them gently back on the desk. Looking at him immediately, you were amazed.
„What is the song called? It's so nice, Hobi! It's really soft!” You said, your voice happy and excited.
„We are naming it Take Two. I'm happy you liked it! I still need to finish some stuff off, though." He murmured, his eyes already focused on the screen again. While typing a few things on the keyboard here and there, the mouse clicking wasn't too loud for it to be annoying.
With his arms outstretched around you, you took the headphones off the desk again, looking over them. They really had a lot of nice stuff; Jin wasn't lying at all.
„The sound from these is so good..!" Not being able to hold back, you gently whispered, turning them into your hands.
Looking back down at what you were talking about, he giggled softly at you. „Is that so sunshine? They are ok, Yoongi hyung has a much better pair though. I lended mine to Namjoonie for a little bit, he lost his own somewhere. These are only for a little while.”
„He lost his headphones? Oh no, how will he make music now-” Your voice was bewildered, quickly taking your attention from the device in your hands you stared up at the alpha in shock.
„No, no. Its alright bub. It's not that big of a deal, it happens a lot.” Laughing loudly at the end of the sentence he carresed your head, gently shushing your worries.
Pulling your face to his chest, your knees went over his tights, loosely hanging by his. Gently gripping onto his hoodie, you closed your eyes for a little bit.
Rubbing your back occasionally, the alpha cuddled up to you closer, squeezing you to his body. Putting on the headphones himself, he got back to work. Breathing in your sweet scent, he felt calm.
Any nerves he felt about showing the new track to his managers he felt earlier had quickly disappeared, and so after a short while he finished up fully.
Saving all files, Hobi looked down at you, only to see you already long asleep, your breathing prolonged and calm. He smiled softly at you, finishing up on his computer before he pulled you back up in his arms again.
Stirring a little, you whined softly, having the alpha shush you quickly. Patting your lower back gently, he walked out of his studio doors, walking back over to the kitchen again.
„Hush sweet baby. It's alright, alpha's here.” He murmured, carresing the top of your head with his cheek. Entering the kitchen, he turned the lights on, noticing the loud sounds coming from the TV.
Looking over, he saw just how dark the game was and decided that just wasn't for him. Pouring himself and you a glass of cold water, he woke you up softly, helping you hold the glass while drinking.
Waking up a bit better, Hobi placed you on your feet again, brushing his fingers through your hair. Looking over at the digital clock on the wall, it read 21:49. Mumbling about how you still had to shower, you walked up the stairs slowly, hearing Hoseok call about you being careful while walking still so tiredly.
Making your way to the furthest room from the stairs, you walked in, turning on the lights. The dark, clean sheets greeted you kindly, shuffling over to the bed you went through the clothing pile Jungkook and you earlier pulled out.
Taking out your sleepwear and a fresh pair of underwear, you walked over to the adjoined doors leading to a bathroom, secluded for the guest room. It wasn't the biggest, but considering how it was all for yourself only, you were more than satisfied.
Still it was much bigger than your own you had at your apartment. Placing your clothes on the white counter top next to the sink, you stripped from your outfit you wore earlier today.
Stepping into the marble tiled shower, you pulled the glass doors after yourself, turning on the shower above you. Washing away any sweat and grime you shampooed and conditioned your hair, the strawberry scented bottles calling out your name.
You were more than sure that the alphas weren't planning on stopping spoiling you rotten any time soon. Noticing the bottles were named of an expensive brand you just shook your head slightly.
After the short shower you dried your body you pulled on your pyjama pants, the light blue and white gingham pattern matched to the blue short sleeve loose t-shirt you had with yourself.
Toweling your hair dry, you pulled open one of the drawers, the black air-dryer intimidating you a little. Taking it out, it felt much heavier than any other one you had ever held.
Walking from the now warm and steaming room, you took it with yourself, rearranging all the stuff still placed on your bed so you would be able to get comfortable later on. Walking out of your room, your bare feet slapped against the cold floors quietly.
Noticing Yoongi walking towards his room before you, you called out his name softly, pattering towards him. Turning to you immediately, the alpha watched over you as you walked to him.
„Hm? Kitty? What's wrong? Where are your socks, baby?” Taking one look at your bare feet, he could already imagine you getting a cold like this. Absolutely not.
Still, you showed him the hairdryer, your wet hair dripping a few water drops on the ground here and there.
Sighing out, he nodded before walking with you back to your room. Gosh, the things he would do for you. Even prolonging his much-wanted sleep? He was more than whipped for you already.
Closing the doors after entering, he motioned towards your bed, already looking for a plug to get the small device working.
„Hop up 'mega. Alpha will dry your hair, baby.” Taking a seat, you pulled the soft brown hoodie from Hoseok to your lap, your fist closing over the fabric softly.
Sneaking his arms around your waist, he pulled you back a little, so you were closer to him. The wire wasn't that long, after all. Turning it on, he let it be on cold air settings, gently combing your hair out with his fingers before he started drying it for you.
Minding your hairstyle, he worked well and fast. With one knee placed over the mattress, the alpha allowed you to rest your lower back fully against him.
Making quick work with it, your hair was soon dry, and the obnoxiously loud noise was turned off too. Ruffling your hair, he gently turned your face to check over the front of your hair. Satisfied with his work, Yoongi nodded softly.
„Okay kitten, all done. Here, let me help you to bed. You should go to sleep now, or you'll be tired by tomorrow, and we can't have that, sweet kitty. Come on, let's see about these covers." Unfolding them, Yoongi gently shook them out, being careful to let only the smallest bit of his scent linger.
Crawling in, you took a seat at the top of the bed, your back resting against the headboard while you watched the alpha. Gently throwing the heavy duvet over you, he patted it down, ensuring your warmth.
„Come on, kitty, settle down now. It's time to sleep, hm?” Coaxing you gently to rest down, you layed on the mattress, your head hitting the pillow softly. Rubbing your shoulder gently, he smiled at you, his gums showing.
„Do you want me to get the other alphas before you sleep, sweet baby? I'm sure they will love to tell you goodnights.” Nodding unsurely, the man left quickly. Folding the hoodie to your chest, you breathed in Jin's scent, which lingered over it just the smallest bit. It comforted you a little.
It took only a minute or two before the room's door opened up again, the packmates filling in one after another. The first to come was Taehyung, smiling widely at you.
He couldn't help but coo at how cuddly you looked, all soft under the heavy blankets, with only a bit of your face peeking out.
„Babycheeks, you are just the cutest thing possible, aren't you? You'll give me a heart attack soon like this! Hm... Babycub, sleep well tonight, okay?” His voice already went deeper than it was; even if it wasn't that late into the night, he felt a bit tired himself.
Nodding at him, you let him hold your hand for a few seconds, gently rubbing his thumb over your knuckles, his eyes calmly looking over you.
„Okay, Taehyung-ah, let me have a bit with her now too, gosh.” Pushing him out of the way gently, you were faced with the eldest packmate. Jin too stared down at you lovingly for a few seconds before he went on to caress your cheeks and temples.
Crouching down next to the bed, he came face-to-face with you, his scent more prominent than earlier. „Sleep well, baby peaches. If the storm wakes you up, come to us right away, okay ? We will keep you secure. It could get a little scary; it's loud sometimes...”
Voicing his running throught, he soon pulled away, allowing the next man to tell you his good nights.
„My princess. Rest well tonight, hm? We will wake you up tomorrow morning, so don't worry about anything. You just sleep well, okay?” His knuckles went softly over your warmed-up cheeks, your eyes fluttering closed for a small second.
„My baby Omega, if you need anything, alpha is always close, okay? You just call, and we will be here in a second, sweet baby. Close your eyes and rest for now; don't worry about a thing.” The youngest spoke, his voice gentle and calming.
Patting over your shoulder, he too stood up after a few seconds of watching over you. They felt the need to know about your wellbeing before going to sleep themselves, so while the other men were still saying their good nights, the rest went over the room, making sure the window was tightly shut and sealed, the curtains drawn close with no chance of seeing inside.
„My sleepy sunshine. It's time for good nights now, yea? You have to sleep lots and lots, so you won't be all tired tomorrow. If you need anything, just come to one of us.” Rubbing his chin over the side of your head, Hoseok smiled brightly at how you were holding the hoodie tightly to yourself.
„Good. Keep a hold of that for me, bub.” The alpha realised how much an object you would grow attached to would keep you calm and settled, so after having that jumper around for when you had your omegadrop, he knew well that it should help with any future ones.
„Okay kitty, it's time to sleep now, yea? Be a good girl for alpha, and don't stay up. Don't be on your phone or something; just rest your eyes. You had a long day, my kitten.”
He himself yawned, feeling tired already. Running his fingers through his hair, he pulled you further into sleep with his soft words.
„My small pup. Sleep lots and lots tonight, alright? And if you wake up, come to an alpha right away, do you understand, baby cub? This is important. ...Okay, good girl. Sleep now, sweetheart. Alpha's will keep you safe.”
Pulling the duvet closer to your chin, he patted it down to make sure you'd be warm throughout the night. And so, with the heater turned on fully and a glass of water placed on your bedside table from Jin, you were soon lulled to sleep, the men all waiting to see you fully rest before they all left to go to bed themselves.

Summary: Katsuki takes you to dinner. You find it difficult to keep your guard up when he’s so respectful and charming.

Dinner with Katsuki is precisely what you dreamed it would be: seamless and firmly rooted in his brand of romance. He takes you to a place that serves authentic Indian food. It’s right near the station. As soon as you enter, rich aromas of masalas and spices waft past your nostrils. Immediately, you begin to salivate.
“Fuck, it smells good in here,” your date mumbles. “Can’t wait t’ dig in.”
“Tell me about it,” you mumble.
In no time, a waitress collects you at the door. She guides you to a table amongst a small crowd of people. A few of them take notice of Katsuki and whisper excitedly between each other. You gulp. You hadn’t thought about the consequences of dating a pro hero. What will publicity bring?
“Ignore ‘em.” The blonde says gruffly. “Tonight’s about me ‘n you, not any of these extras.”
You cringe. He’s certainly not afraid to voice his opinions, hoping intimidation is enough to keep gossipers at bay. Fortunately, he’s right.
You both take a seat. He sets your knapsack down on the chair next to you. The waitress hands you a couple of menus, and you take your time going through them. The table is quiet as you decide. The atmosphere is light and soothing. The nerves you felt at the start of your date are dissipating.
You order your food, as does he. A glass of wine for you, and a double of whiskey for him. The waitress scurries off to fulfill it, leaving the two of you alone again.
Your mind is racing. Breaking the ice is hard. His fiery gaze is boring into you and he doesn’t appear ready to chat anytime soon. The only thing you can focus on is the case you just solved, so you use that to toss your nervousness out the window and initiate conversation.
“S-so, I’m glad we caught him,” you stammer. “The villain, I mean. Today.”
He leans back in his chair and shrugs.
“Yeah. Piece of shit should rot in Tartarus f’r what he did.”
You nod absently. Where he’s going, you hope he isn’t able to harm anyone else. The suffering he’s caused the family of his victims is enough for one lifetime.
“Did you have trouble capturing him?”
“Nah.”
“Th-that’s good.”
“D’ya think I asked you out t’ talk about work?”
His brows are furrowed and his mouth twisted into a petite frown. You lick your lips, heat flooding your cheeks. That’s what you get for acting impulsively. Why are you so uncomfortable with silence?
“S-sorry,” you mumble, embarrassed. “I just… I guess I don’t know what else to talk about.”
Katsuki appreciates your honesty. In the past, he’s been on dates where his partner scrambled to fill the silence, eventually bringing up whatever vapid shit came to mind. He respects that you don’t fall victim to the same sort of urgency. It’s more natural this way.
“How ‘bout yourself?” He suggests. “Unless you’re tight-lipped about your personal life on dates, too.”
You laugh. At that moment, the waitress swings by with your merlot. She sets two wine glasses down and pours. You thank her and take a sip. A heavy, bitter flavour of berries greets your tongue. It’s not at all unpleasant.
“I just don’t like talking about myself at work,” you explain, putting down your glass. “And I don’t do much else these days, what with staff shortages, so I guess I’m not used to it.”
“You work harder than this stubborn bastard I know.”
He means it as a compliment. In his youth, Katsuki went through an identity crisis and blamed him for the insecurities it caused; nevertheless, his bond with Izuku has only grown in adulthood — for the better. Now, he acknowledges his conscientiousness and potential as a true hero.
“Your friends aren’t buggin’ ya?” He inquires. “If I’d known you don’t cut yourself any breaks, I’d’ve asked you out sooner.”
It’s feels nice to be fawned over. Prior to today, you had no clue he harboured such a fascination for you. Although you want to take his attraction at face value, you have your guard up. You’re not looking for friends with benefits; you’re seeking a companion in him. If he thinks he can talk sweetly to you for the purpose of getting in your pants, he’s got another thing coming.
“They know I’m busy.” You brush off his concern with a smile. “And we see each other here and there.”
He props up his elbows on the backrest of his chair and stares across the room distantly, eyes fixated on the kitchen doors. You don’t blame him; you’re starving, too. You think he’s abandoned the topic, when he speaks.
“As long as you’re not workin’ yourself into the ground. Think I’d like t’ keep seein’ ya.”
It isn’t much longer until your food arrives. The waitress sets down the dishes and utensils; then, she wishes you a good meal and excuses herself. You spend the rest of your time chatting intermittently about the flavours, sharing food between each other, and enjoying your meals. When you finish, it’s later in the evening. You’ve emptied your wine glass twice, as has he with his whiskey. You’re in good spirits.
He orders two cups of tea for dessert. As you sip, he wonders about your family and which part of town you live in. Likewise, you ask him about his development into one of the top pro heroes in Japan. You discover he doesn’t like to boast. He mentions his passion for honing his quirk and being “the best” in his youth. He describes how Best Jeanist, a former Billboard Hero, taught him to concentrate more on contained survival than reckless showing off. All in all, he keeps his story short and sweet.
It sounds like he’s been through a lot. You’re surprised someone with such an action-packed life is into you. The edgiest thing you’ve ever done was taking out a loan to attend graduate school. You thought he would have preferred another hero. Then again, the idea of seeing another forensic detective doesn’t do it for you. You’d rather leave work where it is and retire after a long day. Maybe Katsuki feels the same.
“Well?” He prompts you gruffly.
You blink absently. Did he say something while you were lost in thought? You lift a brow and hum, prompting him to clarify. He rolls his eyes playfully, picking up on how the alcohol has distracted you.
“What did’j’ya think of the meal?”
You beam at him.
“I loved it!”
“You sure? I won’t be offended.”
“Positive! I really enjoyed myself. Thank you, Katsuki.”
You catch a brief smile fluttering across his face. Just as soon as it appears, though, it’s gone. He feels like an idiot for getting flustered by something so simple, but he likes listening to you, and every syllable of his name sounds like heaven on your tongue. In his teenage years, you eliciting this sort of vulnerability would have infuriated him; as an adult, he knows how to calmly identify his emotions and reel them in.
He fucking likes you — that’s the truth. You’re bright and interesting. You encourage him engage with his thoughts and opinions, instead of dismiss them. He’s compelled to learn more about you. He gets the sense that he could converse with you for days and not get bored. You’re a rare breed.
“Ready t’ go?” He prompts you. “I’ll pay and we can head out.”
“You don’t have to pay,” you insist. “I can afford my half.”
“Fat fuckin’ chance.” He snorts. “Lemme get this this one f’r us, princess.”
You huff. Normally, you would want to pay; that way, there are no expectations for later. You’re not sure if you want to put out tonight. He’s playing all his cards right, and the tension is there, but you don’t want this to be a one night stand. When you have crushes on people, you mean them.
“Well… okay.” You concede. “But only if I can get the next one.”
“We’ll see.”
“Hey! C’mon!”
“Grab your shit an’ let’s go.”
You groan as you slip on your windbreaker and grab your knapsack. He’s already at the counter, settling the tab. Katsuki escorts you out of the building with a hand on the small of your back. In no time, you’re back on the street.
At this time of night, there aren’t many people walking around. It’s mostly other couples, pacing home or simply enjoying the evening together. The atmosphere is serene. A gentle wind tousles the leaves, adding to the tranquility. You shiver.
Katsuki walks head of you; then, he extends his hand for you to take. You do so with only a smidgen of hesitation this time, trying to trust your budding feelings for him. He reels you closer. Your palms touch his firm chest as he secures you against him. He gazes at you with a ghost of a smirk.
“So, you want there t’ be a next time?”
Reflexively, you laugh. Your face burns as you scramble to respond. You’re not used to being teased this way.
“Um… yeah. I-I guess I do.”
“No more pretendin’ you’re not inta me, then.”
“When you started flirting with me, I thought you were just bored,” you admit sheepishly. “But I k-kinda had a crush on you.”
His grip on you tightens.
“Had?”
“Have.”
“S’what I thought.”
Katsuki isn’t sure if it’s the whiskey or how easy it is to talk to you, but he feels comfortable around you. He wasn’t sure if it would translate as well outside of work — in his eyes, you had the potential to be too good for him. If you want him like he wants you, perhaps there’s a shot. Besides, you’re bound to understand his busy schedule and odd hours, what with you being in law enforcement. So what if you’re not a hero? He’s merely looking for someone he can sync up with.
“Look, I ain’t great at expressin’ my feelings ‘n shit, but I thought you were cute as soon as you showed up t’ that crime scene. Showed me you were smart, too. Down t’ earth. Not just a fuckin’ stiff in a tight skirt.”
You draw yourself into the memory. When you received the call, you arrived earlier than everyone else with your equipment. Officers were stationed around the perimeter, blocking all pedestrian points so you could do your work. Apparently, the victim was a big deal — that’s why Dynamight was assigned to your case. Half of his job was to protect you; the other half was to commence takedown of the scumbag murderer.
You thought he was annoying and pompous when he first appeared, sauntering around the scene like he was in charge. He seemed disinterested, as though he’d rather be doing something else. You didn’t love his attitude. But then, as he started to help — flirting with you, in the process — you witnessed a different side of him. Maybe it wasn’t that he didn’t care, but more so that he desensitizes himself to function.
Despite the rumours about him, you recognize that Katsuki has feelings. He gives a damn about victims and keeping civilians safe. Although he’s brash and aggressive in nature, his heart isn’t as icy as people think.
“I always thought you were handsome,” you admit shyly, averting your eyes. “Whenever I saw you on TV, I mean.”
He smirks.
“You’re not a fuckin’ super fan, are ya?”
“No!” You grin. “You’re just always on the News for breaking things, so you’re pretty hard to miss.”
He snorts. You glance at him to see if you crossed a line with your comment. Joy fills your soul when you catch him rubbing his jaw with a large hand, no doubt to hide another smile. If you were anyone else, he’d tell you to fuck off. Because you’re you, he feels his attraction to you soar.
“Shut the hell up an’ tell me when you’re free next week.”
And he seals the deal with a light peck on the cheek. He fights the urge to capture your sweet lips once more, hoping that one day, he won’t have to.

Damian doesn’t like fish.
He tolerates the meat that is served at the manor most nights, even though it sits heavily and unpleasantly in his stomach. He puts up with Shepherd’s pie and spaghetti bolognaise and pork ribs, because the others seem to love it, singing praises for Alfred’s cooking every night, and Damian doesn’t want to appear ungrateful, or unusual, or out of place.
Then one night Alfred makes steamed fish, cooked in lemongrass and ginger, drizzled with soy sauce.
“I’ve noticed you don’t exactly enjoy our usual meals,” he says, and before Damian can protest, continues, “I looked up this recipe for you, I hope you’ll like it.”
Damian doesn’t like fish.
“Thank you,” he says, and then eats every bite. Alfred seems genuinely pleased and it fills him with warmth, which makes up for the way his stomach curled at the unpleasant texture.
Damian learnt to cook at a young age.
He was always busy, with lessons and training, his grandfather always pushing him to do more, to do better. Sometimes in the evening, however, he would follow his mother to the kitchen, where she would chop onions, fry spices in oil, and roll out rotis, getting flour in her pinned-back hair.
“Why do you cook?” he asked her, “You don’t have to.”
His mother laughed. “I like to,” she said, “Do you want to try rolling the roti?”
His first attempt came out uneven and oddly pentagonal, nothing like the perfect circles his mother made. She still ate it, and told him that it was the best roti she’d ever had.
Damian learnt to cook at a young age.
He also learnt that love was when someone made you a food you didn’t like and you ate it anyways and loved it, because you loved them.
His mother came back from Delhi once and brought him jalebis. “They were your favourite when you were younger,” she said.
Damian was eight now, and didn’t like the heavy, syrupy sweetness of jalebis anymore. But his mother was holding the gold-patterned box that she’d brought just for him, her hand resting gently in his hair, and he could feel a warmth rising up inside him, feeling like it would choke him if it got too big. He would have eaten a thousand jalebis to feel like this all the time.
Damian doesn’t understand a lot of things.
“Sorry I’m late, Alfred,” Richard says breathlessly. “I brought ice cream?”
Damian doesn’t hear Alfred’s reply, but it makes Richard laugh. There are footsteps, and then Richard enters the living room where they’ve all gathered, looking wind-blown and ruffled but delighted to see all his siblings together. Damian knows how rare it is for all of them to gather in the manor, and he appreciates the opportunity to spend time with his family.
“What kind of ice cream did you get?” Drake asks.
“Mint chocolate chip,” Richard replies, and there’s a general cheer of appreciation through the room.
“My favourite,” Stephanie declares.
Richard grins, and comes around the sofa to give her a hug from behind. “That’s why I got it.”
Damian hates mint chocolate chip. He’d told Richard that once, when they were up on a rooftop after a night of patrol, expressing his disgust for the mismatched flavours at great length while Richard laughed. “How could anyone hate mint chocolate chip?” he’d asked with an exaggerated gasp of offence, but he’d seemed amused.
Damian loves Richard more than he’s loved anyone in his life. If Richard brings him mint chocolate chip ice cream, then Damian will love it too.
Alfred comes into the room with a tray laden with bowls, each filled with that brown-speckled green concoction. Damian waits for his, but when Alfred reaches him, he unearths a bowl of vanilla and hands that to Damian instead.
Damian stares at it. He’s so surprised that he barely remembers to thank Alfred.
“I got vanilla for you,” Richard tells him, as he settles into the couch next to him with a contented sigh. He grins. “I remember how much you hate mint chocolate chip.”
Damian doesn’t understand a lot of things.
He knows the way Richard’s arm curls around his shoulders, however, and the way his grip tightens slightly as Damian leans into him, watching the others bicker over what movie they’re watching. Damian eats his vanilla ice cream, that Richard got specifically for him, and feels that familiar warmth.
It feels like love.

concept: if all the demons, lower & upper moon and muzan were able to cook, what would they make & bring for thanksgiving, if they celebrated with their s/o?
Sorry for being late! I'm unfamiliar with Thanksgiving day so I tried to do some research to make it accurate, Not a lot of American style food will be included cause they are from japan, but they try
A/N- I'm no chef, I had to look for a lot of recipes that would be 'demonic' and thanksgiving too ?
Characters- Muzan, Kokushibo, Douma, Akaza, Tamayo, Emnu
Summary- What they would cook for you on Thanksgiving
Genre- Fluff
Warnings- None really just a mention on blood once
Muzan
Muzan knows languages and understands a lot of cultures from around the world. He is interested in how different counties have such different taste in food. All human food is gross to him but he is the only demon who can actually eat human food without throwing up. He only eats human food to blend in. A very good cook otherwise.
I think Muzan would likely choose a high-quality turkey and he might incorporate a deep red cranberry sauce that reflects his demonic side while still being suitable for a Thanksgiving table. Carrots glazed with a blood orange reduction could be a visually striking and flavourful side dish. For dessert, a dark chocolate pecan pie could be Muzan's choice for you, combining sweetness with a hint of darkness. For a drink, Muzan would craft a special cocktail with dark fruits, red wine, and a touch of something more sinister. blood
Kokushibo
Given that Kokushibo lived during the Taisho era in Japan, he might appreciate traditional Japanese cuisine. If he were to celebrate Thanksgiving with his significant other, he might choose to prepare a special Japanese meal with a touch of elegance. He knows nothing about American cuisine and doesn't care to learn about it. He's the one cooking. You are the one eating. If you don't like it, make it yourself. He didn't cook a lot as a human but he knows his way around a kitchen.
He would cook sushi rolls with fresh fish, vegetables, and perhaps some unique ingredients to showcase his culinary skills. Light and crispy tempura made with seasonal vegetables and shrimp, served with a flavourful dipping sauce. A delicate Chawanmushi (Steamed Egg Custard)with ingredients like chicken, shrimp, and ginkgo nuts, steamed to perfection. Skewers of grilled chicken, perhaps with a teriyaki glaze, showcasing a balance of sweet and savoury flavours. For desert, a unique dessert that combines the rich flavours of matcha green tea with the creamy goodness of cheesecake.
Douma
Douma is an amazing cook, just under Muzan, he has chefs that cook for the followers but he has cooked many dishes for people during his lifetime. He's unfamiliar with American food but he will try for you.
Douma might appreciate a unique twist on the traditional Thanksgiving turkey. The glaze could be made with blood orange juice, honey, and spices, giving it a rich and flavourful coating with Truffle Mashed Potatoes. Then Douma may choose a red wine reduction sauce to enhance the flavour of the meal and tie the meal together. Douma is better at baking but doesn't think humans should eat to much sweets. But today is a one off for you both, he would create a visually striking dessert, perhaps with dark chocolate and exotic fruits.
Akaza
Not a bad cook, has never cooked until he met you and he's gotten better at it. He respects you and your culture so he will want to cook a Japanese-American dish for you.
Akaza could marinate the turkey in a special teriyaki sauce infused with cherry blossom flavours, giving it a unique and sophisticated twist. Instead of traditional sweet potato dishes, Akaza might opt for sweet potatoes glazed with a miso-based sauce, adding a savoury and umami-rich element to the dish. Fresh green beans cooked to perfection and tossed with a sesame dressing, providing a crunchy and nutty complement to the meal. For dessert, Akaza might choose to make a matcha-flavored tiramisu, combining the traditional Italian dessert with a Japanese green tea twist. To accompany the meal, Akaza might select a high-quality sake, demonstrating his refined taste and appreciation for Japanese beverages.
Tamayo
Given her background and the fact that she is knowledgeable about herbs and medicines, she might prepare a unique and exotic dish that incorporates flavors inspired by her extensive knowledge. Perhaps she would create a dish with rare herbs and spices, combining them in a way that showcases her expertise.
Tamayo might infuse traditional Thanksgiving turkey with a Japanese twist by using a miso glaze. Miso adds a rich, savoury flavour that complements the turkey. A stuffing made with Japanese mushrooms like shiitake and maitake, along with chestnuts, could be a flavourful side dish reflecting Tamayo's expertise with herbs and ingredients. A selection of pickled vegetables, such as daikon radish and carrots, could serve as a refreshing palate cleanser between bites of the richer dishes. For dessert, a matcha-flavored treat like matcha cheesecake or matcha-flavored mochi could be a delight to the Thanksgiving feast. She has modified her body to drink human tea, so she will watch you eat all the food she cooked but the only thing you two can enjoy together is a cup of tea. And she makes a good cup of tea.
Enmu
Will give you food poisoning. Do not eat his food

Din Djarin x Teen!Reader
Tumblr media
SUMMARY: When meeting up with a slaver who had information on where Gideon may have taken Grogu, Din comes across a peculiar little slave.
WARNINGS: Slave!reader, Fem!Reader, Teen!reader, soft!Mando, angst (A LOT), fluff, cuteness!!!, mature language, typical violence, dad!Din, trauma and all the bad things that come with slavery @.@
~ There is ONE 鬼滅 の 刃 (Demon Slayer) reference in this.

══════════════*.·:·.☽✧    ✦    ✧☾.·:·.*═══════════════
Big, shiny armour was all you could see as you opened the door.
You silently gasp at how tall your new visitor is, taking a few careful steps back. The strange man in the helmet tilts his head to the side, taking recognition of your much, much smaller form.
After a moment’s silence he nods his head once, before carefully stepping around, in such a gentle manner it has you dumbstruck. If it had been any other one of your master’s friends they would have pushed you into the wall laughing as they stumbled in.
Weird...
“Aaah! Mando!” Exclaims your master. Maker, you could just gag at his sickly voice.
“Dru,” Mando greets.
Your Jablogian master hobbles over to this Mando guy, his thick double chin bobbing up and down as he stumbled across the hall.
“Have you brought the money?” Dru seethes, freckles of saliva spraying from his mouth as he spoke.
The Mando nods his head and places a pouch of what you could only assume were creds, into his rough hand.
“Aaah, very good, very good, now come, let us eat and talk about your little green womprat” He suggests, clapping his hands twice. Your breath hitches momentarily as you rush to your masters side. “Get us something to eat.” He snarls, shoving you into the kitchen.
You stumble in and fall with an oomph. Quickly you force yourself up. Master did NOT like to wait. Grabbing a cutting board and knife you begin slicing a few fruits into small shapes, Just the way master liked it. You slide the fruits off of the wooden cutting board and into a rather big bowl, sprinkling some orange and lemon juice on top of it, for extra flavour. To finish off you pour two glasses of red wine before walking out.
══════════════*.·:·.☽✧    ✦    ✧☾.·:·.*═══════════════
You gently place the tray of food and wine on the small table before your master and ‘The Mando’ The Mando quickly thanks you in a timid voice, but does not make a move to grab anything to eat.
Weird...
“Took you long enough!” Dru practically yells, snatching a piece of fruit and shoving it in his mouth.
The Mando menacingly cocks his head to the side, staring at Dru in such confidence it was almost scary.
Dru chuckles nervously and pushes the bowl across the table, encouraging The Mando to take a piece.
He still makes no indication of wanting to have any.
The man in the silver helmet pushes the bowl back to Dru, refusing his tempting offer.
“Thank you for your communication.” The Mando offers, before stepping out of their small booth and making way for the exit.
“Wait!” Dru yells in desperation.
You knew that voice, he was hungry for more of his credits.
“Please, mr. Mandalorian-”
Mr. Mandalorian?
“I will come along with you and save your green son, if you can pay me for my service.” He tries.
“No, thank you.”
Mr. Mandalorian gives you a quick glance from behind him, and stutters in his confident strides to the door. However, with a quick shake of his head, he leaves the mansion.
══════════════*.·:·.☽✧    ✦    ✧☾.·:·.*═══════════════
“YOU IDIOT!” Screams Dru.
“It’s your fault he didn’t stay!”
You quickly duck as another spice tray is thrown at your head.
“You weren't doing things right! You-you were standing wrong! You....you chose the wrong wine! IT’S ALL YOUR FAULT!” He screams, slapping you hard enough on the cheek to send you to the stone floor.
You whimper, but allow no tears to pass.
“I’m sorry, master.” You barely say above a whisper.
Dru scoffs incredulously, eyeing you in disgust.
“Sorry won’t cut it. I think it’s time I sold you off to someone else, and get me a more useful slave. What do you think...Y/l/n?”
You’re about to answer when a powerful punch is delivered to your stomach. Once again you crumble to the cool floor, willing the pain everywhere to go away.
Of course..it does not.
A forceful kick is swung and landed to the side of your head, and that was the last grip of reality you had before you mind swam into unconsciousness.
══════════════*.·:·.☽✧    ✦    ✧☾.·:·.*═══════════════
“Get.....need....bandages......quickly...”
You could distinctly hear someone speaking, but the sound of your breaths and your heartbeat were too loud to decipher what they were saying. You strained your ears even harder to try and make out some of what the person was saying, wanting to gain some sense of your surroundings.
“I need some bandages, and get some bacta too!”
Hey...that kind of sounds like....The Mando?
You force your eyes open, instantly regretting it as a sharp hot white pain shot through your skull.
You whimper and let your head lull against someones arms.
“Shhh, it’s ok, you’re ok.”
An arm moves across your waist and pulls you a bit to closer to-
wait
was someone holding you?......
Was that the smell of smoke??
Your head was spinning and The Mando must have noticed because his thumbs begin to gently rub at your temples, avoiding the wound left by master-
Where was master Dru?
“Where...master....” You groan.
“He’s gone, you don’t have to worry, ok, just try to open your eyes, take it easy though.”
You do as you’re told and slowly blink your eyes open, this time the pain is dull as you do so.
You’re greeted with a familiar tilt of a silver helmet, and a few unidentified people behind him.
“Good, now keep your eyes open, can you do that?”
You don't respond, only keeping your eyes open for him.
“Good.”
“I’m going to check for a concussion now. I need you to answer my questions as honestly as you can.”
You do nothing in response.
“Ok.”
“How many fingers am I holding up?” He ask, holding up 2 fingers.
You copy his fingers and hold out 2 of your own.
“Ok, good.”
“Do you know your name?” He asks, voice gruff.
You don’t say anything, just staring blankly at the void of his visor.
“Can you tell me your name?” He repeats, giving your bruised arm a gentle squeeze.
~~
Din watches the slave with intent.
He was starting to believe she really did have a concussion, until she reached for her pocket.
She fished out a small coin and positioned it in between her index finger and thumb, then she tossed it in the air and caught it with direct precision.
Tails...it landed on tails.
“I’m Y/n.” She admits.
Maker it felt so long since she had said that name to anyone.
══════════════*.·:·.☽✧    ✦    ✧☾.·:·.*═══════════════
5 days later...
“Is she still using that coin?” Cara asks, as Y/n played in the fields with Grogu.
“Yes.” Din admits, head hung low.
“That is so strange.” The ex-shock trooper chuckles.
“What do you think it means?” She questions.
“I have no idea, she uses it at least three or four times a rotation.”
“Let’s find out, shall we?” Fennec says with a smirk.
“Y/n! c’mere.” The assassin calls.
Cara and Din exchange glances of confusion, but nonetheless play along.
“So..” She starts.
“Tonight, I am going out to eat dinner, because Boba is a horrible cook. I’m thinking of wearing normal attire, but there’s this really pretty dress. Which do you think I should go with?” She asks, a gentle smile playing on her mouth.
Same as always, Y/n pulls out her small coin and tosses it in the air.
She catches it and flips it onto her palm.
Heads.
“The pretty dress.” She murmurs.
Fennec smiles once more. “Thank you, you can go now.” She whispers. And off she went, back into the meadows.
“The coin is her decision maker.” Cara gasps.
“Obviously.” Fennec scoffs.
“She was a slave...she doesn’t know how to make decisions for herself.” Din ponders, putting the puzzle together.
══════════════*.·:·.☽✧    ✦    ✧☾.·:·.*═══════════════
Later that day...
“Y/n.. Can I talk to you, please.” Din asks, gently, as not to startle her.
She brings her lucky coin to her hands and flicks it up, however, Din catches it in midair.
“Let’s make a bet.” He offers, leaving no room for the teenager to say otherwise.
“If the coin lands on heads, you make your own decisions from now on, and have the freedom to act as you feel is right. And you throw the coin into the nearest ocean as far as you can.”
Din could see the internal struggle through her eyes, the desperation of her wanting to grab the coin out of his hand and hide away from the rest of the cruel world.
“Hey, it’s ok, I’m going to help you, adi’ka.”
“D-Do I really h-h-have to throw i-it in the o-cean? I-it’s the only thing I-I-I-I have left of my f-f-amily.” She stutters as tears well in her eyes for the first time Din had ever seen.
“Oh, no, no, no, no, no, adi’ka [little one], don’t cry, no i’kaad [baby], you can keep it...we’ll just...put it in a locked cupboard and whenever you want to hold it, you can, ok?” He whispers, holding her in a gentle embrace.
“Ok.” She sniffles.
And although hard at first, she learnt she had a choice, because her buir never gave up on her.

Chubby Reader Streamer, who’s a faceless. Does streams where they just talk to their viewers about anything. When Levi recognizes their voice at a local convenience store late at night.
Tumblr media
@kenkopanda-art <3
More than a fan
Levi x Chubby fem!Reader
Modern AU, mafia Levi, fluff, romance, chubby reader, shy reader, Levi has a massive crush that only gets worse, flustered Levi.
Levi is a huge fan of a faceless streamer. He adores the conversations that go on and the cute relaxing games that are played. Levi often falls asleep to them because they're comforting. While getting some late-night food he hears a familiar voice. He approaches you and fumbles over his praises towards you getting you very flustered.
Part 2

Levi stared at the different kinds of noodles and didn't know what to get. He released a long sigh as his mind drifted to you. You were his favourite streamer and recently you had taken time off. So, he was listening to your older ones that involved you laughing a lot.
His body heated up when someone stood near him. He glanced over to his side and felt his heart race at how beautiful the woman was. Every inch of the woman was sexy and cute. Levi loved all the curves and plump frame.
You looked over at Levi to see he was blushing hard as he stared. You blushed a little when you couldn't believe someone as attractive as Levi was checking you out. "Umm...are you okay? Are you having trouble with what noodles you want? I can help."
Levi's heart raced, your voice was so similar to the streamer he loved. "Th-thank you for the help."
You shifted closer to him. "So, you into seafood, spicy, meat or classic flavours?"
He gulped hard. "U-Uh, I-I like all b-but some umm seafood I d-don't."
You picked up a few. "These are the ones I like. They're a great balance of flavours."
He lifted his basket. "Thanks."
You smiled at him. "You do a lot of late nights?"
"I do. I shouldn't, but I do."
"I'm the same." You hummed a laugh. "This one is very filling and tastes so good."
He stared at you. "I'm sorry to ask and I might have it wrong, bu-but are you uh...are you...mmm...flower bunny? The streamer?"
You felt your cheeks heat up. "Ah...yes...I hope I'm not disappointing."
He shook his head as he blushed. "You are so beautiful. I can't believe it. You're just...wow."
You fiddled with your skirt. "Really? I hide because I think I'm ugly and too big."
His eyes widened as he felt rage go through him, but then sadness. He wasn't angry at you but at all the people who ever made you feel like you were not beautiful. "You are so pretty and sexy. I am speechless. You...you're...fuck...shit. Sorry, I'm terrible at...you're just..."
You giggled as you felt your heart flutter. "Thank you."
"Levi."
You gave your name. "Lovely to meet you." You pointed. "You want to eat some noodles together and have a drink in the sitting area here?"
Levi nodded. "I would like that."
You smiled and grabbed a few noodles before walking with Levi to the savoury snacks. Both of you grabbed a few things and then moved on to the drinks section. You paid for everything together before going to the little kitchen area and making your noodles and drinks.
Levi hummed. "This is great. Thank you for recommending this."
You sipped your drink. "Mm, I'm glad you like it. It's the perfect balance of spice and flavour."
He moved his noodles with his chopsticks. "So...do you do this often? You know, talk with fans face-to-face."
You shook your head. "No, I never do this."
"Oh, I'm sorry. I don't want you to feel uncomfortable."
You felt your cheeks burn. "You don't make me feel uncomfortable."
He moved closer. "Really?"
You nodded as you nibbled your lip. "Yeah. I think you're really sweet and incredibly handsome. Part of me is thinking why the hell is this attractive guy talking to someone like me? However, the other side of me is accepting it and is really happy."
Levi leaned his cheek on his hand as he gazed at you. "Sorry, I can't get over how beautiful you are."
You giggled as your heart skipped a beat. "You are an incredible flirt."
"Really? I think I'm terrible. So, I'm doing a good job then?"
You nodded. "You are."
The two of you talked for hours eating your snacks and drinking together. As you talked you found that the two of you had a lot in common and connected on so many levels. You reached over and lightly held his hand.
You looked at the time and felt a bit shocked. "Oh, look at the time. I should head back. I need to prepare for a stream tomorrow."
"Oh, you're coming back?"
You nodded. "Yeah, my break is over." You stood up and grabbed your bag. "So, I would like to stay in contact."
Levi got up. "And I-I would like to t-take you on a d-date."
You wrote your number down and handed it to Levi. "I would love to go on a date with you." You leaned over and kissed his cheek. "I'll look out for your comments in streams."
"I look forward to our d-date."
You waved goodbye and walked to the door. Your phone pinged from a text so you looked at it to see Levi had texted you about a date later that day. You turned and smiled at him. "I'd love to go tonight."
Levi gripped his phone. "G-great!"
You blew him a kiss and left the shop. You squealed a little in delight. You weren't very confident in yourself but you really wanted to see Levi again. You looked down at your phone again to see Levi texted you again that you were pretty and he was sorry he was awkward. You texted him right back and knew that you were going to have a wonderful relationship with him.

i was able to get the hypmic curry and figured it’d be cool to share what the tracks were about!! the tracks themselves aren’t publicly available tho, so do buy the curry if it becomes available again!! enjoy!!!
——————
Rio: *humming a tune*
Rio: …Go Shawty🎵 Go Shawty🎵
Samatoki: …Damn it.
Juto: We really are in a bind…
Rio: Why are you both just standing over there for?
Juto: O-Oh, it’s just, I can’t help but be in awe over the amount of disgus— fine ingredients you have…
Rio: My catch was exceptional today. The gods of the hunt must have felt generous.
Samatoki: Rio, just to be clear, you said you’re making curry right?
Rio: Affirmative; I’ve also prepared spices. Everything has been properly gathered.
Samatoki: T-That’s great then…
Samatoki: No matter which way he cooks it, nobody’s gonna want to eat this…!
Juto: I can already see us getting reported to the Consumer’s Bureau. The lawsuits are just waiting to happen…
Rio: What are you two whispering about?
Samatoki: Nothing.
Juto: It’s nothing!
Cow: *moos*
Juto: A cow?!
Rio: I was fortunate enough to have caught a bull alive in one of my traps.
Samatoki: So, we could have had a beef curry, huh…
Juto: Clearly! So how do we get him to use that instead??
Samatoki: I got this. Hey, Rio, you’re not gonna use the cow in the curry? I think it’d be fine with just that.
Rio: No, I intend to use just these ingredients. More ingredients do not necessitate a better curry.
Juto: Of course that’s the response!
Rio: Now then, let’s begin cooking. First, is the onion. Chop it into small pieces and fry it in butter until golden brown.
Juto: U-Understood.
Rio: Samatoki, I’ll leave you to grate the apples.
Samatoki: T-That’s a hell of a lot of apples.
Rio: I intend for them to be a standout flavour in the curry. After, combine them with the fried onions.
Samatoki: S-Sure.
Rio: As for me, I will be preparing the fond de veau.
Juto: At this rate, the curry will be completed as intended…!
Samatoki: Maybe I can knock him out…? No, Rio doesn’t have any openings.
Rio:…Hm?
Samatoki: What’s wrong?
Rio: I’ve used up too much water preparing the ingredients and don’t have enough to use in the curry. May you keep an eye on everything as I go and retrieve more water from the spring?
Juto: Of course! You won’t have to worry about us here!
Samatoki: Make sure you watch your step heading out there.
Rio: Thank you. I’ll be back soon.
Juto: With the way Rio moves, it’ll probably be 10 minutes before he returns… Within that time, we must get rid of those ingredients somehow!
Samatoki: Juto! Don’t just stand there looking stupid and come help me out here!
Juto: ?! You’re making a hot pot with those ingredients? What are you intending to do with that??
Samatoki: Just shut up and cook!
Juto: Then I suppose you have a plan in mind?
Samatoki: Yeah.
————————————
Samatoki: It’s about done. Oi, Juto. Here.
Juto: A fork? Why would I—? Surely you can’t mean—!
Samatoki: Better clench that gut. This is the only way!
Juto: Guh! Never would I have expected to have to protect Yokohama in this way…!
Samatoki & Juto: Here we go!
Samatoki & Juto: *choking down the food*
Rio: Samatoki, Juto, what’s going on—? We don’t have any ingredients left?
Samatoki: S-Sorry about that Rio. I just got too hungry to wait.
Juto: W-With all this food around, I couldn’t bring myself to stop eating.
Rio: I see… Apologies, I didn’t realise how hungry the both of you had gotten. …Well, I suppose I will just have to use this cow in the curry.
Juto: Yes, it truly is a shame, but it seems we have no other choice but to do so!
Samatoki: Haha! With our “Navy Curry Straight Out From ‘Hama,” we’re winning this whole thing!

Meeting the family
Summary: Echo gets some shore leave and turns his comm off
Word count: 2,3 k
Warnings: Just kissing, this is completely sfw
A/N: Had a ton on fun writing this, I hope it's good enough for your expectations. The sentence prompt is in there
Tags: @cloneficgiftexchange @wizardmando
As a general rule (gently suggested by Captain Rex to the 501st), Echo is not to be disturbed when calling with his girlfriend. Not only because of possible less-than-innocent activities on the call, but also because of how damn happy Echo was when he ends the call himself undisturbed.
When he got together with Y/N, his optimism skyrocketed. Every mission, assignment and battle was done quickly but thoroughly, so he could come back to her. He made the other troopers work faster to be done with the paperwork (much to the displeasure of Fives), cleaned up when others didn’t want to, anything to get rewarded more time off.
Even general Skywalker noticed a difference. Echo no longer went with any crazy plan Fives threw on the table. He’s stubborn enough to convince them of a safer route, or staying behind on base for the craziest assignments.
“I want to come back home,” he answered every time. Nobody asked him what “home” was. It was against regulations, but everyone turned a blind eye.
Rex has never actually met her, but he was sure he like will like her when he does.
—---
“Well, call him again! What if it’s an emergency and we need to leave for an impromptu mission?”
Despite Rex loving his men with all his heart like brothers, sometimes, he gets quite frustrated with their headstrong attitude. Especially if he does a headcount at breakfast and finds some of them missing.
“Maybe he went to a bar and slept over?” Jesse suggests and shovels a spoonful of military rations into his mouth.
“Impossible. It’s been more than a day. Echo is not that kind of person,” Kix counters, “I would expect that more from Fives.” He points at the trooper with his clean spoon, his face sporting a half-smirk.
From the other end of the table, he hears an offended “OI!”.
“Don’t pretend to be offended, Fives, your tab at 79’s is still open. Besides, Echo has someone waiting for him home, he wouldn’t do that.”
As if a lightbulb went off in his head, Kix turns to Rex.
“Have we checked if he isn’t with them?”
Rex shrugs. “We don’t even know if the person lives on Coruscant, much less know their location.”
Fives froze for a second in realisation. He starts hitting Jesse next to him, as if possessed.
“She is on Coruscant! I have her address in case of an emergency!”
The entire table groans.
“Then kriffin lead with that!” “Fives!” “And you didn’t tell us this sooner?!”
"Hear me out: Melted cheese with carrots."
"You know what, that actually might be good."
Since your leftovers ran out for lunch, Echo and you were brainstorming cooking ideas.
Well, it is more of "Echo says a food combination and you shoot it down". It sometimes feels like he has no sense of taste, his tongue fried from eating republic rations all the time.
The holomovie has become white noise at some point, background in your conversation while you cuddle on the couch.
"The carrots have to be boiled so they don't crunch, we could maybe even use blue cheese," you list off ingredients, in thought.
"I'm sorry, WHAT cheese?!" Echo is half horrified and half curious at your statement.
"Oh, you know, a cheese that has a bit of grown mold on it. It adds flavour and it's not bad for the body at all," you explain, watching his expression go from 100 to 200.
"How could mold on cheese be anything other than bad?"
"Actually, I have no idea. It just is," you shrug and pull out a datapad, putting in a shopping list.
Echo peers over your shoulder.
"Does it really need that many ingredients?"
"Yeah. You need the pasta, salt - which we already have - and the sauce needs some cream, garlic, cheese and carrots. If you want to spice it up we can add some ham," you say, counting the ingredients on your fingers. You're by no means a master in the kitchen, but you want to feed your boyfriend food with ACTUAL flavour.
Echo lays his head on top of yours, pressing a kiss to the crown of your head.
"Can you teach me how to do it? I want to cook you something someday," he mumbles into your scalp, pressing another peck after he finishes the sentence.
"I will if you want to, but you don't need to cook me anything! I can always look up recipes or we can order takeout."
"But I want to."
It makes the corners of your mouth rise and warmth spread to your chest. What the republic thinks is a hardened soldier is also a softie who wants to learn how to cook for someone he loves.
"Thank you, love."
Echo doesn't need to move his head to see your smile, he just knows. The tone is obvious to him.
"Cooking is really complicated," he puffs out.
"Oh you have no idea. Pasta is mostly simple to do, one of the easiest dishes in fact," you point out. After sending the shopping list into the app, you toss the datapad to the side.
Now just to wait half an hour for the groceries to arrive, carried by a simple task droid.
You don't want to point your attention towards the TV or go out shopping. It feels like you're wasting precious time you have while Echo is on shore leave. You want to be wrapped up in him for the entire remainder of his vacation.
Curled in his side, you can feel every single muscle of his athletic body through the thin shirt of his blacks. He knows you don't mean anything by it when you snake a hand under his shirt and start drawing shapes into his skin.
As always, his skin is warm to the touch, bringing you instant comfort.
By the time the movie ends, the hypnotic nature of drawing circles into Echo’s skin puts you in the sweet zone between awake and asleep. His chest rises and falls as he watches the credits (something only he ever does), syncing your breathing with his.
Warmth blooms in his heart at your sleepy form, like small fireworks in his veins. He feels as if body will burst.
“I cannot stop smiling when I look at you,” he whispers to you, making you smile in return. He isn’t even sure if your brain registered it or turned it into a pleasant dream.
He slowly moves by centimetres on the couch into a more comfortable position to take a nap and let you snooze.
However, before Echo could even begin falling asleep with you, a sharp ring makes him flinch out of his own head.
An adorable whine leaves your throat.
“Is the food here?” Echo asks and gently takes your arm off him, getting up to get whatever is at the door.
“Hopefully,” you grumble out and lay down flat on the couch, covering where Echo was sitting.
“Can you put everything but the bread in the fridge? I’ll cook in an hour,” you speak up, louder than usual so Echo hears you through the apartment.
You hear the door open and then-
“What the kriff are you doing here?!”
You shoot up from the couch so fast your head nearly spins. Echo rarely swears so to you, this would be a jedi-level threat.
“Well you didn’t answer your comm so Fives told me where your partner lives-” “That information is for emergencies!” an identical voice replies to your boyfriend before getting shot down by (what you assume is) your Echo.
When you get into the line of sight of the door, you realise why.
There, right outside the threshold of your door, stand at least six clones, all wearing the same armour Echo has left neatly in a pile by your shoes. All of them have lines, triangles and patterns painted on their helmets in blue, black or red.
Echo’s legion.
“Well you weren’t answering your comm and… oh…” a blonde trooper in the front with his helmet under his arm speaks out and trails off when his eyes land on you.
“Yeah, I have told you I am away.” You’d think his annoyed voice is hot if you weren’t in a situation that could put him at such risk.
Right behind the blonde clone (who you assume is his caprain Rex from what he Echo told you) is a clone with a standard haircut and a number five tattooed on his temple in galactic basic.
His twin, Fives. You remember his tattoo from a conversation you’ve had with Echo. You wanted to meet him some day as he means so much to your boyfriend, but you have hoped that the meeting would be in better circumstances.
Before anything else can happen, you want to diffuse the situation. You don’t know if a clone trooper legally be in a relationship, as the war made the Senate refuse to look at anything else (certainly not look at the rights of the soldiers fighting said war). You might be in deep waters.
“Good afternoon sir. Is Echo in trouble?” You inwardly grimace. That was such a stupid question to ask, acting guilty in the court before even getting called to the stand.
A small smile gets to the captain’s lips.
“No, he isn’t. We’re just here to check on him because he wasn’t answering his comm.”
Some of the weight leaves your shoulders. You really didn’t want the first meeting with his brothers to be about disciplinary actions.
Echo’s entire face goes red, caught in the act. “I thought I put it on emergency only,” he tries justifying.
“Next time, double check. I sent you a message an hour ago. We wanted to know where you are,” another clone, one with a republic tattoo across his face, suggests.
“I told commander Cody that I am taking a day of shore leave. Did he not tell you guys?” Something shifts in Echo, like a knot coming loose. His stance shifts to be more relaxed and a single hand reaches out for your own.
His captain takes out a datapad and reads through messages while you two watch, previous anxiety dissipating just a smidge  .
“Ah, Cody got called away yesterday for a diplomatic mission.” The captain puts away his device and turns back to Echo.
“I- didn’t know that. Sorry Rex” utters your boyfriend and squeezes your hand. You squeeze back, seeing the guilty look on his face.
“It’s alright, you couldn’t have known, General Kenobi got the call and needed to leave immediately,” the blonde, Rex, reaches out a hand and pats his shoulder.
Then, his head turns to you and he nods respectfully. “Nice to meet you ma’am. We’ll be going, sorry to bother you.”
“No problem at all,” you reply and watch the troopers utter variations of hellos and goodbyes, with his twin being the last to leave your porch.
He sends you a mischievous smile and reaches out a hand to shake yours. “I’ll stop by some time.”
He sends him a glare as he pulls away. Fives pats his shoulder and turns around, jogging to catch up with the rest of his brothers.
You lead Echo back inside your apartment and shut the door behind. His hand leaves yours and he kneels next to his armour to take out the commlink from his pack. He pushes a button, switching it on.
A bit sheepish, he puts it back and stands up. “Sorry you had to meet my captain and brothers for the first time like this,” he looks down.
You reach out a hand to cup his cheek and lift up his head to make him look at you.
“It’s fine, I’m just glad you’re not in trouble,” you say softly and curl your free arm against his waist. His hands instinctively reach out to rest at your hips and bring you closer.
“I really wanted my comm to be off for the day, to spend the time with you. I’m sorry mesh’la.”
“Stop saying sorry for things out of your control. Your captain is sweet for wanting to check on you.”
He brings your foreheads together, something you have learnt is a kiss in his culture.
“Still, we could have gone through our day without this. I want to be here with you. For you. I don’t want you to feel like we are one message away from never seeing eachother again,” he murmurs.
You sigh with a sad look on your face.
“But we are, Echo. And that’s the reality. But that doesn’t mean you aren’t here for me,” you reply and pull away just enough so you can kiss his cheek and then bury your face in his neck.
His hands go from your hips to hugging you. It’s the kind of bear hug that makes it impossible to breathe deeply, but you’re okay with that.
“I’m here for you too,” you whisper into his skin and land a peck on the junction of his neck and shoulder.
His arms falter and he pulls away, only to kiss you like his life depends on it.
He has no qualms pushing his tongue past your lips, multitasking while gently walking the two of you over to your couch.
“Kriff!” you squeak out as you stumble a bit, unaware of your surroundings from the haze of kissing. You stabilise yourself against Echo’s muscular chest and plant your feet firmly, making your boyfriend almost lose balance in return.
As you both regain your footing, your eyes meet again and you both snicker at the clumsy attempt at romance.
You want to lead Echo towards your couch to continue the session, but the bell rings again.
“So help me force Fives, if it’s you, I am going to put sand in your bed!”
“I think that’s just the delivery droid. It’s been an hour.”
“Oh, cool. Can you show me the recipe?”

ATG 13 - Bear? Bare
In which there is a surprise in the woods.
Pairing: Halsin/Tav SPICE Rating: 4/5 Content Warnings: Sex, Bondage, rough sex,
Spoilers Act 3, Halsin Romance Canon Compliance Canon adjacent and close to Halsin's romance scene with a bit of my traditional embellishment to add some extra flavour.  Other Notes Introducing Halsin's poly dynamic to Tav first, there will be more later where we bring Astarion back into the story more at the conclusion of his quest Mood/Song Run Wild by Valkyrik "Come find us in the woods tonight But before the nighttime turns to day I'll let the melody take way I'm leaving reservations behind (Behind) Now the sun is rising It's energising The shadows are melting away There's a drum beat breaking into my bones Crushing the ice and crumbling to stone And the melody of the night keeps calling me Louder and louder and louder I wanna run wild I wanna run free I wanna move like the stars are a part of me."
Tav watched as Halsin paced the room, wondering if his boots would wear a permanent path in the floorboards. She stopped in front of him and laid her hand on his chest. “Halsin. Enough.”
“I’m sorry, I’m just-” he began, looking down into her eyes and making her breath catch in her throat. “Restless.” She finished his sentence for him, echoing the sentiment. “I can tell. You seem to be mostly recovered from your wounds, too. You’re not fond of being indoors this much, are you?” “I miss the wind in my hair, the grass beneath my feet. It feels…unnatural, to be so far from nature. The saplings struggling between cracks in the stone do not help.” He sighed, looking towards the window where some scant few branches knocked against the glass every time a breeze caught them. “Let’s go, then. Tonight. There’s a spot not far outside Rivington, we can take some food and wine with us, maybe even our bedrolls, and spend a night under the stars.” Tav smiled taking his hand in her own as a subtle hint. “You’re…certain? You do not wish to bring the rest of our friends along?” Halsin hesitated, caught between excitement and concern, visibly struggling to contain those emotions. “Two is company, Halsin, three is a crowd. Isn’t nature better appreciated without a crowd?” She squeezed his hand, watching his throat move as he swallowed his own anxieties. “That would be… Appreciating nature as the Oakfather intended. I would like that, very much.” He held on to her hand a little longer before excusing himself to gather what they might need. Maybe don’t invite the Oakfather tonight, Halsin. Tav chuckled to herself, tucking a couple extra items in her own pockets.
--- The sun was setting as the pair walked through the lower city and across the bridge towards Rivington. Tav felt her heart racing, but she had a suspicion the druid’s was sprinting much faster than her own. He kept his eyes fixed on the road ahead, the hint of a smile tugging at his lips from time to time, feet keeping a careful pace as if he was desperate to run but didn’t want to wear out his companion. “There’s no rush, we do have all night, if you want.” Tav smiled, casually linking her arm through his elbow, delighting in the pink hue that rose to the tips of his ears. “I have…spoken, with Astarion. About your situation.” He tentatively broached the subject, still keeping his gaze on the path as they passed the last houses out of the city. “I hope the conversation was enlightening. I asked him to speak with you, once you were feeling better.” She pulled herself closer against his arm, relishing in feeling how his muscles tensed even more. “Maybe someday he might join us, when he’s ready to. But I’m not going to push him.” “He requires more healing than a few spells and salves can provide.” Halsin agreed, risking a brief glance to the woman at his side who was stroking his arm as they walked into the trees. Breathe, by the Oakfather’s mercy, stay calm… “You know, you’re welcome to join our little book club if you want to.” She kissed his shoulder now, relishing in teasing him, watching every little sign that he was more than ready to throw her down into the grass at any moment…and yet also enjoying how much he held back. He kept his poise, no matter how difficult she intended to make it. “Is it not…too personal, to be reading your innermost thoughts and your, ah, experiences ?” The druid paused for a moment, turning to face her properly now. “I have nothing to hide, not really. Astarion told you about my rules?”
“He mentioned them, yes. But I think I might like to hear them from you, directly.” He placed the bag down by a tree, they were already far enough into the woods to be alone now at least. Tav followed his lead, putting her bag beside his and pulling out her diary. It felt peaceful, even though nature’s orchestra surrounded them in the moonlight that sparkled on the lake’s water, just visible between the trees. “Here, you see?” She pointed to each rule in turn and read them aloud. Rule 1: Survive. Do whatever you must to stay alive.
“I will. I have. I’m going to keep everyone alive now.” She felt a little pain lingering whenever she thought of the first rule, but the scars on the man before her told her she was, unfortunately, not alone.
“You have survived much, my heart.” The druid spoke kindly, a new pet name escaping perhaps sooner than he intended, but drawing a smile from her that softened his own features further as he caressed her shoulder. “You do not have to struggle so hard alone, now.” Rule 2: Live. Find your pleasure where you can get it, remember what life means beyond survival. “This…is a much more fun rule. Lust is an indulgence, pleasure is fun, and when we don’t know how many days we have? I want to make the most of them.” She laid her hand over his, where his thumb still idly stroked the edge of her collarbone. “Such is nature’s way…” He sounded a little crestfallen now, a hint of sadness in his smile. “That’s… I don’t mean to say I have no feelings for you, Halsin.” She panicked a little, realising she might have said the wrong thing, not wanting to hurt him. “I’ve wanted to spend more time with you, and when you were missing, I… We were beside ourselves. I pushed that rule as far as I could, neither of us were willing to give up until-” The druid pressed a finger to her lips, quieting her worried words, moving to cup her cheek with his hand as he bent to kiss her. It was soft, warm, and felt like it was on the verge of sparking a fire where they touched as he almost let his passion take over. But he drew back, breathless. “I know, my heart. He told me, and I feel the same, for both of you if you will have me.” Tav nearly dropped the book, but Halsin leaned back again, running his fingers down her arm from the shoulder to the wrist, lifting the book back to where they could see the open pages again. He looked down at the page to encourage her to carry on.
Rule 3: Take. If nobody else needs it, it’s yours, especially if the owner has more than they need.
“Nature does provide.” The druid smiled, the hint of a laugh playing around his eyes. “Well, nature, rich fools who haven’t heard of good locks… Same thing, right?” “I suppose it could be, if you stretch the definition far enough.” He watched as her finger lingered on the last rule, Astarion’s addition. Rule 4: Taste. Sample from any plate before you that is appetising. “Well?” His smile grew just a little wider now. “Are you hungry?” She glanced down at their bags. “We did skip dinner for this.” He leaned in towards her again, lips just a whisper away from hers. “The food can wait, let’s find a way to fill more of those pages instead.” This time the book did fall from her hand as Halsin wrapped his arms around her, almost lifting her off the ground as he kissed her with an unbridled passion. Tav felt herself completely encompassed by him, the smell of leather, moss, and a hint of honey filling her senses as she tried her best to hold on with her arms around his shoulders. His hand drifted down, caressing the curve of her hip, cupping her rear, then sliding further to lift her thigh, encouraging her leg to find purchase as he fully hoisted her off the ground. Tav raised her other leg, both now encircling the druid’s waist, and for once now his head was tilted upwards to continue the kiss he did not wish to break even as he manoeuvered her back against a tree. She could feel his muscles, tense and almost shaking, heated even in the cooler evening air of the forest.
Halsin abruptly parted them, almost dropping her to the floor as his breathing grew heavy, laboured. “Halsin? What’s wrong?” Tav steadied herself against the tree, uncertain what to do to help. The druid was almost glowing, his eyes alight with a form of magic as he fell forward onto all fours. He hurriedly tried to unfasten his clothes, but it was a little too late. Even the tough leather buckled and ripped as his body shifted and transformed, growing in size, thick dark fur covering every inch of the huge bear. The creature stepped backwards, a look that could only be described as apologetic crossing its features… his features. Tav held out a hand, stepping towards him. “Are you alright?” He blinked a few times, then shook his head, the rest of his large body following, the magic weaving back around him and returning him to his more usual form. He was almost naked, the remnants of his leathers hanging off him in strips, and he sat back on his heels breathing heavily still. “I’m…sorry. Oakfather grant me strength - Sometimes it is hard…to control myself.” Tav knelt on the ground with him, taking his hands into her own. “Don’t worry about it, as long as you’re ok.” “How did nature make you so beautiful, my heart? Inside and out.” He kissed her hands softly, eyes locked on hers. “I will be just fine. With you here, how could I be anything but?” There was something about him that still seemed slightly ashamed, a look she was not used to seeing from the Archdruid. “Halsin,” she made sure he looked her in the eye before she continued, “I like you, I adore you, all of you. Just the way you are.” She allowed a little smirk to play at her lips. “But for now, perhaps stay like this. I don’t think I can handle a bear.” Yet, she almost added, only allowing the thought to half form in her mind.
“You seem very certain that you can handle me as I am. Perhaps we should test that theory.” There was an almost animal glint in his eye as he raised up on his knees, pulling her closer to him and removing her clothes with deft movements. It didn’t take long for her to be as bare as he was, both dressed only in the cool moonlight and the light breeze that passed around them. “Nature truly outdid itself when it made you…” “I could say the same of you. It’s like you were carved out of marble by an expert artist, and brought to life with the warmest heart.” She smiled, reaching forward to tuck his hair behind his ear, delighting in how he shivered as her fingers brushed past the pointed tip.
“You flatter me,” he held her hand to his cheek for a moment, “but perhaps we’ve talked enough for now.” He kissed the inside of her wrist, following it with further tender pecks along the length of her arm, moving closer to wrap his arm around her back. His lips continued their path along her shoulder and collarbone as he brought them both up to their feet again, kissing up her neck as they were standing. “Oakfather preserve me, I want to devour you…” He growled seductively in her ear.
“That’s why we’re here, isn’t it?” she returned the look he was giving her, full of barely contained lust.
He paused for just one more moment. “You must tell me if we are to stop, I do not want to hurt you.”
“That would be almost impossible,” she breathed heavily, feeling the heat rise within her as his lips lingered by the tip of her ear, “but for safety, squirrel can be our word.” She was rewarded by a deep chuckle in her ear, the sound itself travelling along her nerves to somewhere far deeper in her core. “Somehow that seems perfect.” He began to lift her again, pressing her back up against the tree as he continued to administer his affections across her skin. Soft lips expressed tender care across fresh bruises and old scars alike, the slight cooling of healing magic soothing the more recent signs of battle that marked her like a mosaic. Tav tensed as he moved lower, leaving small bites along the line of her hip, each delighted gasp from her lips only urging him onwards with renewed passion. “Hold on.” He murmured, as he hooked his arms under her legs and in one swift motion stood up with her thighs on his shoulders, bracing her back against the tree once more as his tongue began to taste her desire. Tav didn’t even notice the whisper or the slight gesture as the spell was cast, but she felt the vines of Entangle rise from the ground to hold her. You have certainly been talking to Astarion, haven’t you- She moaned as his tongue and lips drank deeply from her, working every nerve within her as the vines coiled up and around her arms, holding them above her head and secure against the tree. More vines found purchase around her waist and ribs, lifting and cupping her breasts, thinner ends just pinching the hardened peaks to draw a fresh noise from deep within her lungs. The food in their bags sat long forgotten as Halsin took his time, savouring every moment, every little motion of his tongue sending waves of heat through her whole body. Just as promised, he  devoured her, drinking in the pleasure, working in such careful patterns that it wasn’t long before the local wildlife were rudely awoken by the wanton howl that escaped her. He held her tight, pressing his tongue ever deeper even as her hips bucked against him. Even as his mouth refused to stop dragging the ecstasy from every nerve, his hands caressed every curve they could reach. Strong, soothing, carrying the aftershock of her climax as long as he could and bringing her back down again like a gentle wave passing through the afterglow. The druid eased her down carefully, the vines relaxing their grip and lowering her shaking body into his arms. He kissed her heated skin tenderly from her naval to her neck, until her feet touched the floor once more. Tav felt like she had been flying, floating back down to the moss below her toes completely surrounded by affection. “You didn’t stop me.” He whispered against her cheek, continuing to kiss her even as she blushed a deeper hue again. “I didn’t need to.” She reached her hands up into his hair again, lingering by his ear this time. She felt his reaction as her fingers caressed the line from lobe to tip, the way his breathing quickened, the subtle heat rising from his skin. “I didn’t want to.” “You are…dangerous.” He rolled his head back, leaning in to the touch against his ear. “Isn’t that what makes it exciting?” She began to kiss and nip across his chest, her fingertips still tracing unspoken words in her new favourite place to tease, relishing in the quickening of his pulse. He looked down at her again now, his hands gripping her hips firmly, just holding her back from pressing against him. “More?” His breathless whisper was hot against her ear, lips trailing a new path, worshipping every inch of her body as he sank to his knees before her, one hand already moving to her inner thigh. Tav simply nodded, biting her lip, unable to resist the temptation to let him do as he wished. Her knees still felt weak, and the moment he slipped a finger inside, curling it to reach the most sensitive parts, she nearly fell completely to the floor.
His eyes caught hers as he looked up momentarily, before dipping back down to taste her again. The druid could not get enough, tasting her, moving her, drawing every breath from her lunches in ragged gasps as he added a second finger to his new favourite game. Tav was certain she would’ve fallen over, if it hadn’t been for the hand inside her and the other wrapped around her lower back holding her as close as possible. She tried to brace herself against the tree behind her, suddenly missing the grasp of the vines but feeling completely incapable of denying Halsin the meal he desired.
Trying to cling to her consciousness with everything she had, she ran her fingers through his hair, once again finding the tips of his ears to caress. The vibrations of his delighted moans only increased the feelings building within, ready to bloom a second time with a primal lust. She kept going, letting her fingertips rile him up more, relishing in the look of him knelt before her… Halsin’s hunger seemed endless, relentless, damn near insatiable. Looking down at him worshipping every inch of her body was the most erotic sight that Tav could imagine. His skin was beading with sweat, muscles clearly defined and almost quivering with the sheer sexual energy that seemed to full every cell of his being. Even his breath was heated as he worked his fingers within her while his tongue did not waste a single drop, tasting her, devouring her like it was her last meal. By the time the shockwave hit, rippling out from her core with muscles twitching around his hand as he continued to tease out the afterglow, her knees were completely weak. She was certain the only things keeping her upright were his hands, one inside her and the other holding her lower back, keeping her pressed to his face as he kept the final pulses of warmth subsided with a long and shuddering moan. “My heart,” he smiled, casually cleaning his hand with his tongue as she sank slowly to the floor, “you are a greater feast than all of nature’s bounty.” For a few moments, all Tav could do was try and remember what breathing was, and appreciate the sight of the man in front of her. This suited him best, hair falling out of place, skin slick with sweat, moonlight highlighting every line of hardened muscle, and the best part of all - the smile on his face as he quietly watched her. “What do you desire? Name it, and it will be yours, as I am yours.” He laid his hand on her knee, beginning to caress up her leg, but Tav stopped him. “No,” she leaned forward, caressing his cheek softly, “you give too much of yourself. Let me…” Halsin’s face was a mix of delight and self restraint. His lips tried to form words, but his mind gave him nothing more than a silent smile. He nodded, turning his head to kiss her hand and wrist, looking almost lonely when she pulled back. Tav found a little strength to move again now her body was finally recovering, and took the small bottle from her bag.
“I thought we were leaving the picnic til after?” Halsin looked confused for a moment, until he realised exactly what her plan was. “Oh…well, in that case, carry on.” Tav smiled, shuffling towards him on hands and knees, the glass bottle held between her teeth. She pushed firmly on his chest, finding very little resistance as he laid on his back beneath her, watching her every move while consciously not acting on any of his impulses. She almost found it difficult to straddle him, kneeling over his waist but denying him contact for now. She relished the way he bit his lip when she took the stopper out of the bottle with her teeth. She held the bottle high above him, letting a little of the golden syrup pour in a thin line down to his chest. She used the honey like ink, drawing a map of everywhere she wanted to taste, watching the way he reacted to each place. After replacing the stopper, she put the bottle to one side and began to sample the delicacy she had made, a sweet dessert to savour and enjoy. Her tongue and lips teased, relishing the taste of his skin. The honey had the tangy sweetness which blended so beautifully with the hint of salt on his hot muscles, the lingering flavour of leather from his armour, and the general earthy aroma that seemed to be a part of him made the experience complex, yet decadent. She continued down across his abdomen, amused at the points where he quivered from a ticklish touch, running her hands down his arms with just a little pressure. There was no way she could ever hope to pin him beneath her, not on her own, he was far too strong, but this little illusion of power quickened his pulse beneath her fingertips. By the time she kissed along the line of his hip, teasing little bites and enjoying every moan he tried to bite back behind tensed lips, she could feel him almost quaking beneath her. She wanted this, to see him finally allowing someone to tend to his desires, and it was clear how much he was enjoying it too. The taste of him now was like a fine banquet. She dragged her tongue slowly along his tip, as if tasting a stray drop from a bottle of wine, listening to the long low moan that came from above. Tav kissed along him, each fresh press of her lips opening them more, adding just a little more tongue, until she reached the top once more and took him entirely into her mouth. She lavished affection on him, allowing her teeth to tease and drag out pleasured moans, her hands still caressing his body, tenderly testing for any areas that deepened his voice. Tav let her tongue speak a hundred languages, all words of love lavished around him, singing his praises more literally as she allowed her own moans to send subtle vibrations through him. It seemed this was enough to tip the scales, as she was rewarded with the taste of his own nectar, a warm honey with its own sweetness that she devoured with a ravenous appetite spurred on by the howl that echoed around the clearing. Tav barely had time to catch her breath when his strong arms lifted her forwards, pulling her up to straddle his waist again, gazing at her with unbridled passion in his eyes. “Of all of nature’s gifts…” He paused, running his hands up her arms to her shoulders as he sat up, bringing his knees up to support her back. “I couldn’t possibly ask for more, and yet… Forgive me, I want you, my heart, I want all of you.”
“Then you may have me, and I shall have you.” She kissed him lightly, almost surprised when he immediately deepened the kiss, the taste of each other mingling on their tongues in a moment of pure lust. “As nature intended.” He growled, kissing down to her neck as he lifted her slightly, encouraging her to continue. Tav followed his direction, finding him already prepared with barely a minute to rest. He’s…insatiable… she thought, not unlike me, I suppose- The thought was cut off as she felt him in place, too deep in her own desire to try and tease him or prolong her own satisfaction. She pressed herself down slowly, the pair of them exhaling in tandem as he filled her so completely she thought her legs might give way again. But she held strong, wrapping her arms around him, holding him close as she began to move.
--- Halsin had been thinking of this moment for so long that it was almost like a dream now. Surrounded by nature, encompassed by the body of his heart, watching her head roll back as she took her own pleasures by moving above him. It was going to take everything he had within him not to rush this, and he was now more grateful than ever that she had already given him some release before they began. That would make it easier to prolong the moment, to draw out every second as long as he could. The soft glow of the moon made her look even more beautiful to him, if such a thing had ever been possible in the first place. He did not miss the city one bit, his senses keener from the bear within that was always just held back below the surface it was impossible not to notice everything about her. The colour of her eyes, sparkling with starlight. The sounds of her breath catching in her throat as he moved with her, finding every way to make her feel all of him, pressing just that little bit deeper every few thrusts and relishing the little moans against his lips as he kissed her neck. The scent, the scent was so clear to him; the moss beneath them, the fresh water of the lake nearby, the ripening berries on the bushes and refreshing pine- Tav leaned back and braced herself on his knees behind her, quickening her pace for a minute to draw out her own pleasure. Halsin focused again, trying to hold back and allow her to do what he pleased. The aromas of the forest were mingling with their own sweet perfumes, sweat, sex, honey, and the slight hint of roses from the woman whose head was tilting back breathlessly, chest heaving as her climax echoed from the trees. Oakfather, forgive me, she is too much.
--- Tav rode out the wave of bliss, unaware of the feral look creeping onto her lover’s face. When she was descending from the high, she soon realised something had changed as he gripped her hips and rolled them both so he was above her. His arms were shaking, not through the difficulty of holding himself up - far from it, he could likely keep that position for hours - no, this was the pure intensity of his desire. She gasped as he pulled out, pausing only to flip her on to her front before he pressed back inside with a swift and powerful motion. His lips pressed devoted kisses and untamed bites across her back, holding her legs together with his feet and shins pinning them down. His thrusts were wild and harsh, breathing ragged, and if she didn’t know better she might have thought he had truly become the bear again, but his hands remained entirely without paws or the thick fur of the beast. As he increased in intensity, he found a grip on the back of her neck, holding her beneath him in a way that excited her entire being. It didn’t matter that the ground was rough beneath her, or that her hair had become entirely tangled, or that the remnants of the honey was clinging to her skin. All that mattered was this, the feeling of him completely ravaging her, letting his passion take control and bringing her breathlessly towards their conclusion. “Let me hear you,” he growled, “let the whole forest hear your voice cry out, make the birds envious of your song.” His voice alone was almost enough to tip her over the edge, but it was when she felt the subtle growth within that her muscles responded, tightening around him as he let go completely. The sheer intensity of the pulsing climax seemed to drag an even greater one from her as she did exactly what he had demanded. Not a single beast within earshot remained asleep, the sound travelling close to a mile from where the two elves cascaded together over an entire waterfall of bliss, the consummation of lust that both had felt since not long after they met. Halsin lay his body over her, wrapping his arms around her in a tight embrace and kissing the point of her neck where he had gripped perhaps a little tighter than he had intended. She didn’t care, though. She was filled with complete bliss. Beyond the powerful afterglow flowing through her whole body, she felt so entirely encompassed by him. It was as if they were the only two beings in the forest, in the whole world. She was glad he didn’t withdraw immediately either, not wanting to feel that emptiness just yet. Tav sighed happily. Even in this, he was gentle, the embrace of a lover not just a quick fling. Although he was above her, he was still careful not to let his whole weight rest on her, supporting himself by his knees and elbows and the forearms that were wound around beneath her, holding her close. She could feel the strong and steady beat of his heart through her back, she could hear his breathing slowing to contented sighs, and she wanted nothing more than to remain right there.
--- Halsin waited a while, savouring the close feeling of holding his heart in his arms, listening to the easy sounds of her satisfied body. Eventually, he carefully parted them, a light chuckle escaping him at her disappointed little sigh. “Let us clean up, my heart, and we should not let our other feast go to waste.” He kissed her shoulders and back as he moved aside, waiting to help her to her feet on legs that couldn’t quite support her. “Just give me a moment, you don’t have to-” she tried to protest, but was cut short by a sweet kiss. The druid instead lifted her up into his arms and carried her to the lake, sinking into the cool water slowly and holding her close. “I don’t have to, but I want to. You have done so much for me, allow me to take care of you, too.” Tav wrinkled her nose and pressed her finger to her lover’s lips. “Only if you will allow me to do the same for you, my love.” “Love,” he echoed the word carefully, contemplating its meaning. “So you are willing to share your heart with me, as I do you?” “Of course. I care about you. I love you. I suppose I have for a while…” She kissed his cheek, smiling at how he blushed now from a simple declaration of affection. “Let us indulge our bodies as we so wish, sample all the delights the world might have to offer, but keep our hearts to ourselves, and our other love.” “Astarion.” He echoed her unspoken words. “You think he will accept me into his heart, too?” “Give him time, earn his trust, and hold him with care.” She kissed his lips, a declaration of her affection. “I don’t know how anyone could resist falling for you.”
---
They spent the rest of the night beneath the stars. They swam and bathed in the lake, playfully splashed each other and chased each other through the cooling ripples that sparkled in the moonlight, and eventually even made it to the food they had carried all the way out there. However, when the sun rose and they realised it was time to return to the city, they noticed a small problem. Or rather, a large, naked problem. “My clothes…I completely forgot.” Halsin sighed, looking at the torn scraps of fabric and leather that couldn’t even form enough of an outfit for a certain incubus to wear. “Oh…shit.” Tav realised, looking at the few tears in her own clothes that prevented them from effectively covering her. “This…is going to be awkward.” — Some time later, the upper floor of the Elfsong tavern was filled with laughter and a friendly mocking, as two elves strolled in carrying their bags and clothed only in the blankets of their bedding wrapped around them.
----------- ----------- ENDING NOTES ----------- -----------
It felt about natural to have the Halsin chapter here, after his rescue and recovery, with a little need to get out of the city. He's a terrible patient in my mind but what better way to know he is fully healed? This is the last main chapter that I currently have ready, so there will be a few of the side story specials coming in next, then ATG 14 will be back hopefully in the next couple of weeks depending on my schedule~

The one word writing prompt from @unexpectedstormy was "hungry"
Sorry for forgetting this for so long!
This is a fic that ive been meaning to write for ages but just never had the motivation to
Send me a one word writing prompt
Hyrule was by no means a good cook, he was probably the worst cook in the kingdom! The chain learned that when he first cooked some apparently old meat when Wild had hit his head and was out of commision.
It wasn't his fault that he couldn't cook! In his era, lighting fires was dangerous and would attract monsters so you had to each food raw or only have a fire long enough to smoke it. Full meals were only a luxury made in towns where people had proper kitchens and there was no risk of attracting enemies, not that Hyrule had any experience in a kitchen at that.
So without a question, Hyrule was a terrible cook.
But maybe he could learn! With this skill he could make meals whenever he wanted instead of looking longingly at the dishes made in towns that cost too many rupees. Maybe he could be better than Wild! He could figure it out! He's a hero! Nothing as simple as this would defeat him! The idea made him excited.
Oh no...
The food!
While he was zoned out, all the water in his stew had bubbled over the pot, uncontrollably going all over the place. His attempts to stop the flow of bubbles was futile and he dropped his head down in shame. At least the grass is watered now? He thought unhappily as he turned back to the remaining food. Taking a bite of the completely charred veg he noted the complete lack of flavor.
Uhhh... maybe he could give it flavour with the spices?
A glance at the pots of labeled spiced Wild had provided him made it obvious that he had no idea what he was doing. All of these names sounded strange, he thought that spices were just picked from whatever plant you knew that wasn't dangerous! How was he meant to know you were supposed to label them and use a specific one?! One he did recognise was the Goron Spice, one he did not want to deal with again. He made a point of straying faaaaar away from it...
After much indecision, Hyrule elected to just use the one he recognised, salt. He lifted the rock salts and held them in his hand, wontering how much he should put in. Perhaps he should suck it up and ask for help...
A questioning quirk of the eyebrow from Legend who was sitting beside Sky, watching him cook made his head dart back down, eyes wide with embarrassment.
ABORT! ABORT!
...Maybe he should just put as much salt as there was food... that sounded right?
Okay, the food should have been ready by now. He hummed innocently as ge distributed the broth into seperate bowls, handing them to each of his unsuspecting travelling companions.
"HYLIA'S TITS RULIE, WHAT did you put in here!?!?" The exclamation came from Wind, not the first one to take a bite. The traveller looked up to see a series of retching, and dumpimg out of bowls, some having the decency to try and hide it. It was like the first time he tried to cook for them, as if he hadn't improved at all.
He felt disappoinment root itself in his belly as he quietly took a sip from his own bowl, coughing it out.
Yeah, they were right, it was way too salty and way too burned.
Still, the reaction, although deserved he though, still hurt, and he was struggling to hide it.
From behind the others, a certain blue tunic appeared in front of him, Wild. The champion proceded to tip his head back and chug the entirety of his portion in quick succession much to the horror of everyone else. They looked at him with disturbed and shocked expressions and exclamations as said champion wiped his mouth with his sleeve and gave Hyrule a beaming thumbs up.
"Rulie put in effort for us to make some food, you guys should try to not be so obvious about hating it, even if it does taste a bit bad. Look, you've upset our traveller but half of you haven't even cooked for us yet, he at least tried. That's great! Hylia knows that i was making the worst dubious food when i first started."
He then turned to Hyrule and put a hand on his shoulder, "we'll make a cook out of you yet! Just you wait!" And then he got up and walked away.
And to say that the traveller's heart didn't feel so much happier would be a complete lie,
Even if he was still, currently, a bad cook
Ahh wild, a man of not many words but the purest of hearts

That was lunch, made quick-and-simple * but dressed up nicely for its photo-op.
* Very quick-and-simple; it was based on a packet of just-add-water oxtail soup, because there are some days when I Could Not Be Arsed, even a simple tomato soup that’s just a couple of tins of tomatoes, an onion, some garlic, some peeling, some chopping, some oil, some seasoning, some cooking, some blending...
Yeah. Enuff said.
However, that didn’t stop me from a few grab-and-chuck-in enhancements - and once I’d announced that, @dduane said: ”Write it up for your followers, and take pictures.”
So...
The enhancements were some orzo and a splash of red wine vinegar from the cupboard, sweet paprika, smoked paprika, cayenne (it’s cold today) and ground caraway from the spice drawer, and some frozen red and green sweet pepper from the freezer.
(Side-note - I slice and freeze my own peppers on cookie sheets, then bag ‘em; also onions and carrots, i.e. the sort of thing I’d take from the freezer, weigh frost and all then throw straight into a pot when making soup or stew. Casual approach? You bet... :-> I’ve never done a price comparison, but I bet it works out cheaper-by-weight than buying them that way.)
So I made the soup as per instructions - add water, stir until boiling, heat down and simmer 5 mins - adding everything else at the beginning and extending the simmer to 15 minutes because of the orzo and peppers.
Then it went into a bowl, got garnished with a dollop of plain yogurt and another grind of chilli, and behold:

Soup even with pasta in it works better with bread, and it just so happens we’ve been baking interesting loaves recently.
So, some First Draft and Second Draft herb bread went into a bowl and onto a plate - these, like the cutlery, are mostly meant as photo props - and behold:

For something which started as little more than flour, salt and flavourings, that soup turned out remarkably well; warming, filling and tasty.
As for the bread, the 2-D herb loaf is just as good as the 1-D, but more herby since DD doubled the amount of herbs while reducing the variety. It’s possible for too many different herbs to argue with each other and end up cancelling out the very effect you’re hoping for, something I suspect happened with the 1-D loaf.
Tumblr media
2-D loaf used just basil, tarragon and an “Italian Seasoning” (bought as a packet, put in a jar, so no ingredients list, sorry!) which seems to rely on oregano.
Also, confession time, I wrote in the 1-D recipe that DD was using pumpkin-seed oil (since ETA’d to correct); she actually used olive oil since she couldn’t find the pumpkin-seed oil because someone (cough) had put it away without saying where.
The 2-D bread did have pumpkin-seed oil, which affected both the colour and - wow! it’s nice - the flavour. This now makes us both wonder about using walnut, hazelnut and similar unusual oils in an otherwise basic bread recipe, such as the one I bake every couple of days for the house.
Something ELSE to experiment with. :->
