I just finished watching Sweet Home and I’m pretty excited for season 3 this summer. 🤭

Warnings: fluff?, slightly nsfw,it’s short nothing more he’s my pookie.

I think Hyunsu is one of the mysterious characters who ends up actually smart, kind and misunderstood.

He’s a big boy, very tall, if he didn’t pay enough attention to the ceiling of the car he will hit himself when he’s getting in. Which happened plenty of times.

He’s really smart he manages to choose the right decision quickly when the situation is really bad.

He wanted to proof he isn’t dangerous to the survivors of the Green Home, so he followed Lee Eun Hyuk’s orders without questioning. Still they managed to treat him poorly.

In my opinion I don’t ship him with Lee Eun Yoo, there’s no chemistry between them, especially from his side. I don’t see him having any feelings towards her. She does have feelings for him though.

Speaking of feelings, when he has a crush on someone his love language is act of service.

Hyunsu isn’t the kind to leave his love interest side, this boy has attachment issues, not responding to it by detach himself from you no, he’ll silently follow you anywhere.

He won’t treat you like he treats his family, he knows you don’t deserve his cold shoulder.

He will look at you with puppy eyes every time you walk in the room.

If you know each other from school, you’ll stick up for him, which leads you to be an outcast too. But it doesn’t bother you.

Imagine Hyun-su’s monster finding a particular type of interest in you.

When you and Hyun-su first met, he was infected, but that didn’t bother you, not in the slightest. When you got together, his monster side was showing up more and more often, to the point you got used to it.

His monster side came from his deepest desires, and one of his greatest ones was you. Whenever Hyun was close to you, his monster would tend to overreact, talking and whispering things about you in Hyun’s head all the time.

Hyun’s monster would show up at random moments, like when you and Hyun are having talks together. The monster would intrude and give aimless comments, as if trying to communicate with you, you’d normally just ignore his monster, or just to be comedic even talk back to Hyun’s monster as if you were friends. Not acknowledging that the more you did this, it encouraged his monster to lurk around you more and more.

It was even to the point were during your quiet times, like cuddling in the quarantine room, And Hyun would have a hold around you, his monster would pop up, then Hyun’s hold would tighten, squeezing you. Not tight enough to hurt you, but tight enough to make sure you couldn’t get out. Like it didn’t want you to leave.

Hyun su would obviously be worried about this. His monster side was trying to get too close to his girlfriend. Of course he’d be worried. As far as he knew his monster side was dangerous, but you’d always reassure him that you were fine, you wouldn’t admit that it was quite entertaining, and that a tiny part of you enjoyed the monster’s company.

You were fully aware that Hyun’s monster would never hurt you. So you weren’t worried in the slightest.

At times, When You and Hyun were alone in the quarantine room, things turn quite hot and heavy between you two. You’d be straddling Hyunsu on his lap on the couch, the two of you share a kiss that soon turns more passionate as seconds pass.

Hyun-su would normally keep his hands to himself until you say otherwise, but this time you feel his hands move around your body. From your hips to your back, squeezing and kneading your sensitive skin, putting his hands under your shirt.

You weren’t uncomfortable, just surprised, Hyun-su wasn’t this assertive when you two were alone. To your relief, he sleeps soundly now, but it pains you to leave from your shift as he unconsciously holds onto your hand as you attempt to move :( a soft pained sound leaving him as you slip your hand from his eventually, and all you can do is watch sadly as he grasps at nothing and his expression stirs.

~ ok but him always trying to sit with you at mealtimes. Regardless if it's at the table or the floor, you'll have this soft-spoken man practically glued to your hip. He'll also try and sneak more of his food into your portion, but with a soft wack of a spoon against his, he'll jump a little and look at you bashfully- looking away in embarrassment when you lightly scold him. If you don't, this man will end up feeding you everything on his plate 💀

~ if you ever need to reach something, he's your guy. The moment he notices you struggling to grab something from a high shelf, he's immediately at your side and reaching for whatever you need. He's so sweet when he does it as well :( softly mumbling if he's got the right thing, and noticeably perking up when you nod happily and thank him.

~ often the deep pit of loneliness will creep back and clutch its claws into him again, and Hyun Su will fall silent and reclusive again- like a door closing in your face, or a webcam shutting off. He will inevitably fall into the pattern of isolation, so please be patient and offer your attention and care for him.

Just sit with him when he slumps alone in a corner somewhere, watching you converse with the other survivors with insecurity and sadness I'm his expression- his head and hands slumped in his lap like a weightless puppet. He hates feeling this way. He despises it. This voice that creeps into his mind and hisses poison like a snake, and at this point he's not sure if it's his depression or the monster that dwells inside him anymore. All he knows is that it is there. It's inside him, and he's snatched tightly in its grip.

The moment you settle close against his side eventually snaps him out of it, and he only realises the trickle of blood dribbling down his face is when you dab lightly at his upper lip with a tissue.

"it's alright, you're ok" you hush softly to him, turning your body to face him as he anxiously swallows and nods.

The warmth of your hand eclipsing his palm draws him back to you, and with a staggering breath he settles himself. The inky blackness in his eyes dispel, and what's left is his dark doe eyes.

"Th-...thank you..." you barely hear him above the distant clatter of voices in the distance, but the way he looks at you hesitantly before squeezing your hand back is all you need to know he's grateful :(

~ Initially, he's very against himself falling for you. You spark all these warm safe feelings in him and it admittedly frightens him a little- he was ready to end his life not too long ago with nothing to change his mind, but now you've wiggled your way into his heart and mind and he's scared of getting hurt if it were somehow a whole ploy or trick.

However, over time, your genuine kindness slowly warms him up to you. He goes from brief hesitant glances towards you, to holding your hand as he idles close to your side like a second shadow.

~ he's very doting whenever you're frightened or hurt. He'll try his best to make you comfortable and safe, and keep as close as he can if that makes you feel at ease.

(Perhaps he finds you struggling to sleep because you keep having nightmares of the monsters, and he's off to grab you another blanket because you're shivering but is held back by you grabbing his hand and uttering a small plea for him to stay :(

He gets so overwhelmed by that simple little word, and just slumps by your side as you hide into him- his hand gently petting your back as you doze off, and all he can think of is you asking him to stay :( all I can say is good luck trying to get him off your back after that, he's going to be hovering and doting either close-up or far away.

The protective big brother who thinks he’s not good enough for his little sister.

He was hopeless when he started to have symptoms, he kept his distance for the sake of the safety of others Eun Yoo. *cough* what was that?

He started transforming after few days of the apocalypse events. That’s why he kept his distance. Although he wrote his name in the list the last one, it’s like he had a feeling they would find it after he’s became a monster.

He can’t risk being exposed, he doesn’t want to be isolated like the other infected people.

He thinks if the group isolated him they will be doomed. He doesn’t care about anyone but his sister Eun Yoo.

So he choose to manipulate them to do what he wants and to leave him alone in the control room where no one can see his symptoms.

So basically he was about to be a special one if he tried like hyun-su if it wasn’t for the fall of the building. “In my personal opinion”

When he saw eun yoo with hyun-su making that pinky promise he was relieved a bit that she won’t be alone when he completely turn into a monster.

He knows Hyun-su wouldn’t hurt her, or anyone else. But he kept using him literally abusing him by sending him on hard missions.

Part of him was jealous of Hyun-Su because he is really protective over his sister. That’s one of the 100 reasons why he was abusing him the way he did and treated him poorly.

I’m not saying Eun Hyuk was a bad person, he was just selfish, aren’t we all selfish at some point when it comes to the things we really love and care about?

He’s not very experienced but he had sex few times. He’s not a virgin.

His dick is average, grooms himself occasionally. Just to keep everything neat.

He can’t handle alcohol, he gets drunk very easily. If he even tried it the boy was only 18.

Even he caught her red handed but he just gave up talking to her, he sneaks in her room and change the cigarettes inside the pack with free nicotine cigarettes. She’s pissed.

At least he makes sure she eats nutritious foods.

Odysseus is a woodcarver. He made his marriage bed himself. I love the thought of him constantly working on projects and just walking in the woods seeing a couple logs and thinking "I can make something with this." Gifts for his beloved wife. Gifts for his loving mom and dad. And eventually gifts for his baby.

A rattle at first, but he'd probably get excited and already start making toys for him to play with when Tele gets older. Little animal figurines, tops, a swing, yo-yos, and more. (Yo-yos are from Greece! Or at least the first depictions are from there. I think it'd be funny if Odysseus was one to have a yo-yo often as this man always needs to be doing something. He's that guy that is always doing tricks.)

I really love the thought of him leaving toys behind for his little boy, and Telemachus keeps them because they were made for him by his DAD. It reminds him that he had one at some point. (There are the coming-of-age ceremonies, but there are probably things he could've kept.)

there’s a song playing from his phone on the counter, you realize. he must not have heard you come in. it’s low, but you can hear the sound of humming from his closed mouth, probably spread into a smile as he cooks. though you’d usually have your arms wrapped around his waist by now, you lean against the wall and watch with a small smile. all the exhaustion and irritation you'd felt from work just a minute earlier fades away.

you never thought you’d ever want this, let alone have it. a small house on the farm, which your husband cares for while you’re at work. coming home to him after a long day. such a life seemed so simple, so mundane to you as a teenager, but now you realize that it’s everything you could ever ask for. shinsuke, you know, is all that you need. nothing else. 

“oh—you’re home.” your husband turns on his heel and you chuckle at the fluffy pink apron he has on. at the sight of him opening his arms, you immediately rush into them and find yourself pressed flush against his familiar chest. “you made my favorite,” your voice mushes against his shirt.

“‘course. your favorite meal for my favorite girl.” 

“mmm,” you hum. “i love you, shin.”

there’s a kiss pressed to the top of your head. “i love ya too, sweetheart.”

Can we talk about the fact that Kang Seok-chan is most likely the IT specialist of their unit and in the normal day to day life he is probably a bit of a nerd or liked gaming.

That makes me love his dynamic with gym rat Kim Yeong-hu even more xD

Can't help but imagining them meeting up before the monsterization started and Seok-chan casually hacking something that Yeong-hu recognizes as government servers he should not have access to.

Yeong-hu, freshly showered after his gym visit, meeting Seok-chan in a rundown, no security camera infested internet cafe, "You could rot in prison for this." he said in flat tone.

"Yeah, but they won't find out because you won't tell them it was me who changed all their fonts to Comic Sans," Seok-chan replied, holding his energy drink up in cheers.

He's still giggling as he types away. Kim Yeong-hu does not argue with him and simply watches Seok-chan do his thing with a fond look in his eyes.

The Polar Tang's Garbage Disposal

Because I've been playing so much Coral Island and needing to clean up so much garbage under the sea, it got me thinking about how the Polar Tang deals with trash. Because while the Heart Pirates are hardly paragons of virtue or necessarily even good people, when you live in a submarine and experience the beauty of the ocean close-up, you don't like to see it ruined by pollution.

This means that, while at sea, the Hearts work hard to avoid littering and the ship itself has several means of disposing of trash, depending on what kind. Leftover food is composted for the greenhouse where they grow fresh food and medicinal herbs. Biomatter that can't be composted (like bodies from the morgue) is put in the incinerator. Metal and glass is recycled. Miscellaneous trash is put in the trash compactor and disposed of on the next island they land on. And toxic waste is reserved for Shambling onto the next enemy ship or Marine base they happen to pass.

Also, enemy ships they sink are typically salvaged as best the Hearts can for both practical purposes and to avoid leaving trash in the ocean. However, bodies are typically left behind to feed the fish. Circle of life and all that, and Law typically can't do much with the damaged corpses and organs anyway.

ive never really written something like this before but i hope this will be good enough :)

- how did you and hyunsu meet exactly? well, before everything happened, hyunsu was very talkative and loved helping everyone - that's how he came across you.

- you were very shy, though, so it was hard to get you out of your shell at first.

- he was your partner for a project at school and you two needed to communicate. he started off by saying "hi" and you responded with a quiet "hi" back

- you started to warm up, though. it took a bit of time but you became close friends with hyunsu and hung out a lot

- when you two became close you told him about your social anxiety and he was very accepting. he promised to help you in times that you needed it, and would also try to encourage you and help you overcome certain moments.

- there was one time you broke out of your shell

- that was when hyunsu was being treated horribly by people in school. you told them to "piss off" - what you didn't know is that hyunsu appreciated that.

- now, since you have social anxiety, you never imagined having a partner, but hyunsu changed that when he asked you out. you were hesitant and nervous, but you said yes.

- time skip to being adults; you live with hyunsu now in an apartment. your neighbors are nice but you're still anxious about talking to them. when they say "hi" or try to make conversation, you may freeze but hyunsu is there to squeeze your hand reassuringly.

- if you have a panic attack and need to go to a quiet place, hyunsu will take you there and hold your face in his hands. "focus on your breathing", "you aren't alone, okay?" "you're doing great."

- hyunsu is very comforting. always reassuring you, hugging you, loving you.

- if you have a hard time going out, don't evennnn worry !! hyunsu would rather spend his time at home with you then go out to an expensive bar.

- though, sometimes if you have moments where you don't want to go out but you're going to do something you enjoy, hyunsu will talk you through it. always giving you the option of staying home and relaxing, or going out for a bit.

- hyunsu is definitely the best at comforting you.

- when he catches you thinking about an embarrassing situation that happened in public a few hours ago, he'll reassure you.

- "you didn't do anything wrong, baby." "no one would ever make fun of you." "i love you."

- if you feel sick in public, hyunsu will gently pull you off to the side and talk to you. he'll make sure you're okay and ask if you want to go somewhere quiet.

- if you're anxious about ordering something, hyunsu will definitely take over and order for you

- i feel like hyunsu would come to doctor appointments with you, or any appointment in general

- even if you tell him it's okay, he'll insist, even if that means just driving you

- "what if they were judging me, hyunsu?" "i promise no one would ever judge you. let's distract you, okay?"

- if you're anxious about something, hyunsu will turn on your favorite show or will order your favorite food

- hyunsu is patient with you. if you need alone time he will definitely leave you alone. if you need him near you, he'll sit beside you and hold your hand

- he'll research breathing methods for you and then will use them whenever you're feeling really anxious

- hyunsu is the best listener. he'll let you rant or vent about how you feel. if you need him to say his opinion, then he'll say it. if you just need him to listen, he will listen

- he'll teach you the "5 things you can see, etc.." method because it helps him with his anxiety, so it may help with yours

- hugs hugs hugs.

- hyunsu will hug you tight just to make sure you're safe

- dates in public may turn into dates in your backyard or a snuggle on the couch ♡

- i feel like hyunsu would get you a journal to write down your feelings and help you clear your mind
