Maybe it won't work, but you'll discover a new path to avoid. Maybe it will work and your journey will become one step smaller.

And if you are afraid that you will lose your progress and end up back where you started, then darling, you already overcame it once. The second time will be a tad bit easier. The next one easier still.

These babies are delightful creatures. They’ve been pretty wonderful and patient this week, and are having fantastic progress with super short little training/exposure sessions to new things. Krampus will already hold a decent stack longer than I can convince Georgia to 🙄

Something old, and Something new

That's a really deep title for a journal entry about mundane human activities.

I have to admit, I didn't do much today. My husband kind of took the lead on a bunch of stuff so I could sit on my ass. I did cook dinner for us, and I parented a bunch. We're trying to detoxify our oldest from TV. Aside from initial upsets, she's doing great. The wee one's naps have been thrown for a loop, so that's really great.

So what my title is referencing is actually more about the hobbies I participate in today. I finished up The Happiness Project, which inspired my happiness project. And lo and behold, my husband was right. This project is not going to be a fix all for my life. I knew that. By the way. This was just a place to start that my Type A brain can get behind. Goals. Themes. Good for my brain. So I stated a new book (Momma Cusses: A Field Guide to.... lots of other stuff, it's a huge title). If you're a parent, I suggest you read it and find her social medias. She's amazing. So, out with the happiness project, in with the parenting/ not parenting book (read the book, you'll get the reference).

Video games had the same thing today. Played both a new video game I've grown to love and be attached too (Disney Dreamlight Valley), as well as rediscovering the Sims 4 and my love for that game.

It was an interesting day.

Tomorrow I celebrate Ostara (very late) with my family and then Easter with the in laws. Send good vibes please.

Boring entry today. Sorry. Final Happiness Project post tomorrow for this month, and the set up for next month.

Can I tell you something?

I know its hard to believe sometimes, but no matter what you think, if you have existed in this world, there are people who will miss you.

Maybe they are the ones left behind in the past, holding onto memories of you.

Maybe they are from the present, cherishing the moments they get to have with you and want to have countless more.

Or maybe they are the people who are destined to be in your future. The ones who will be robbed of even getting to meet you if you go away now, the ones who wish everyday that they have a person like you in their future.

I assure you, if you have existed, you are absolutely somebody who will be missed, either by the past, the present, or the future. So stop worrying about that for now and go drink some water darling.

Inktober Day 16:

Eyy like idk the Take-It-Easy Fairy.

I've worked a lot these past 2 weeks and he's come to visit me on my day off. I can't disappoint the Take-It-Easy Fairy you know.

Had to be taken to the Emergency room this morning by ambulance. I'm so grateful 🙏 for the amazing medics at the Snoqualmie Fire Station 💕 they took really good care of me.

The doctor & nurses at Swedish ER were able to treat my pain at least for the next four hours. So I'm comfortable for now.

My heart condition episode I went into this morning due to my pain being so high, that I'm still battling with that has had me falling into the walls, jello legged nearly collapsing on the floor is being treated at home using remedies that I am to use when this situation arises.

I've been contacting doctors and clinics all morning as the ER doctor said I desperately needed to do. And I'm beyond appreciative of my rheumatology care team for straight up telling me that I need to be in bed resting and normally they'd have the patient make the calls and do the work but they're going to handle it all for me to try and get me some help temporarily while I wait to get into a pain management clinic.

I'm really hoping fingers crossed that today's the day I start getting some help for all the pain I'm in.

Luckily I got in and out of the ER pretty fast and the doctor was amazing and heard me loud and clear when I said I was in pain. She didn't hesitate to help me like so many doctors have in the past and for that I am truly so grateful 💜

Today I will be taking it easy and waiting to hear back from my care team hopefully with some good news.
