 Animal Naturopathy and Its Importance
When I look around my surroundings, read newspapers, and watch news channels, I feel that even though we as humans are born with mind and intelligence, the ability to protect ourselves and detect danger, we couldn’t make it through illness.Covid-19 as a deadly disease that emerged in the year 2020, taught all of us how a virus can halt life. There were thousands of cases where people didn’t even have any symptoms but were found infected. As a pet parent, I was always concerned for my dog’s health and safety.
 Animals do have brains, I believe but they can’t express their problems with speech. This made me start doing research about how I can keep my dog safe and healthy. After going through multiple articles, 
I came across the term “Animal Naturopathy”. I have read about Naturopathy used to treat human beings with different types but this was new to me with respect to animals. What I understood with this term was about taking care of animals not only when they are ill and infected, but about their overall well-being, overall health, and nutrition.

Certain studies show that animals respond well to natural treatments rather than any drugs or medicines. It’s a great thought with respect to animal care but then a question popped into my mind- “What can I do for my dog without even visiting any naturopathy center?”
This question was very obvious and basic for me because I wanted to know more about this naturopathy type and how I can take care of my dog at home. 
I further read that the choice of food we opt for our pets doesn’t only create an impact on them but also on their genes and their future upcoming generations.
If the quality and preferences of food are not appropriate, then it would result in the rapid aging as well as degeneration of animals. Rather than opting for packaged food, I started exploring organic foods for my dog ( I have even started consuming organic and fresh food after the pandemic then why not for my dog). Some food options which I went through were pastured pigs as well as poultry, wildly caught seafood, sea plants, herbs grown organically in fields, eggs of free-range birds, berries grown organically, etc. These choices are not only beneficial to our pets but are also contributing to and supporting the farmers. Such types of foods which are organic and chemical free will not only help the pets maintain their health but would also contribute to correcting their genetic biology. 
Naturopathy is a wide term and also identified 10 important needs or what can be called doctors, that are important for our health as well as the health of our pets. These needs help us in maintaining a good and optimized body, help in detoxification and repair of body cells and tissues, and also healing on a consistent basis. These needs include water, air, diet, earth and sun grounding, mental poise, exercise, instinct, fasting, sleep, and rest. I further read about the side effects of the packaged foods which we all have been giving to our pets. 
These foods may result in multiple diseases including allergies, itching, irritable bowel issues, chronic diseases, poor digestion, behavioral and emotional tensions, and a lot more. I wish I had known this before !! 
I even read that multiple pet species are exposed to indoor air pollution. It is very important for our pets also to have ventilated areas full of fresh air. Air purifiers work great for human as well as pet health. 
Sun is a great source of Vitamin D and is vital for both animals and humans. A good morning walk sounds great to me for my dog and even myself. I have also planned after reading that playing some good running games with my dog is good for his physical health and would work as an exercise (for me too). I have always kept my dog as my child and will always take care of his nap and rest timing. It has its own importance in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. My personal idea which works great with my pet is giving him warm and untimely hugs. Even they are meant to feel safe, loved, and protected.

self care based on your chart
I talked about the signs and houses connection to body parts and many of you requested this post. These are ways to do your self-care using your chart, the signs, and planetary placements and aspects. The same concept can be applied using simple self-love practices in other areas of life too.
✧ notes 
I recommend you look at your transits chart or solar return as well to better know the best self-care practices at the time. You can base your general self-care on your natal chart but the transits can tell you the best times to take action or avoid taking action on something significant. 
Look for the planets placements and their aspects, mainly if in the angular houses or make many significant aspects. Like I mentioned before I got so much dental work done when saturn was in the 10th, conjunct my mc and opposite north node, it was expensive but I was able to afford it.
You can also consider the degrees if you're feeling extra, in your natal chart and your solar return. Degrees can be associated with signs, so they can be simply linked to the areas they rule.
Planets rule things related to body parts like diseases or accidents and influence certain parts of the body depending on the aspects they make. Also two planets can influence the same body parts.
✧ SIGNS 
Aries/1st house - head, face, brain, eyes 
— Prone to headaches so get quality sleep, wash your hair often, and do wash your makeup, nothing heavy on the head. Exercise and workout in general helps release any pent-up energy or stress. Take good care of your eyes, sunglasses, eye drops, natural eye products/makeup. Keep your brain healthy. Foods and supplements that regulate your energy levels. Head massages, soft pillows, facemasks, frequent haircuts, breathing exercises, get enough brain oxygen. Fast thinkers and can have racing thoughts, so journaling, running, meditating can help. Release anger in healthy ways.
Taurus/2nd house - neck, ears, throat, thyroid 
— The senses can be heightened so make sure your environment is comfortable, the temperature, the sounds, scents, fabrics, the food, arrange it like it's a visions board. Coffee, tea, warm soups, breads and oats, and warm herbal drinks that work for you. Can cling to that one thing they like, so do change your diet from time to time to get different nutrient. Renew your clothes, make your space cozy. Neck massages, aromatherapy, and body relaxation methods. Singing or writing, chill playlists, comfy places and peaceful walks. Cooking your own food can be therapeutic and healing for you. 
Gemini/3rd house - arms, hands, lungs, shoulders 
— Tend to be anxious and restless, since it also rules the nervous system and is ruled by mercury, so the mind is central. Can't stress it enough, but writing,  journaling, speaking just getting your thoughts out. Since the mind is always active, look for ways to release that mental energy. Cardio, pilates, fast sports, board games, socialising. Can have fast metabolism and lean long body parts so accustom your diet and exercise based on that. Massage your shoulders, read a book, and do stretch regularly. Honestly..  joke around, taking all those thoughts seriously is no good. DO YO NAILLS 💅
Cancer/4th house - chest, breast, stomach, womb 
— Ruled by the moon, get a healthy outlet for your emotions, accept your emotions, write, speak up, cry when you need, watch something funny, your comfort show, make yourself laugh. Check your hormones regularly, find a good diet for stomach health, whole grains and high-fiber foods, take your digestive supplements. Do yoga, stomach exercises, breathing exercises. Drink lots of water. Choose your friends wisely, find people you trust. Make your bedroom comfy, invest in a quality bed, get yourself comfy clothes. Cooking your own food is again a self love thing to do, baking, homey places, nature and quiet places. Get you a furr baby.  
Leo/5th house - heart, spine, spinal column, upper back 
— Ruled by the sun, go out more and get your vitamin d. Choose heart-healthy foods, leafy greens and soluble fiber foods and supplements. Check your heart health and blood pressure. Do exercises that work for both your heart, your upper back and shoulders, aerobic exercises, fun sports and activities. You can be generous to everyone but be generous to yourself too, buy yourself gifts, spoil yourself. Do a full hair and skin routine, find a hobby, watch shows that inspire you, make your inner child happy. Embrace you emotions, your skills, pursue your passions, be expressive and go out for adventures.
Virgo/6th house - abdomen, digestive system, intestines, spleen
— Listen to your body and keep adjusting your diet and routine to fit your needs. Your body can be just as picky, so be mindful of the food you consume, of any allergies or foods that are hard to digest. Get your digestive supplements and enzymes, do your research. Choose gut-healthy foods and the best times to eat for you. Go for a nature walk, exercise to release any pent-up stress, cardio or pilates. Get indoors plants or plant them yourself. Spend time with pets. Make your own natural medicine that works for you, even if as simple as tea. Read a book, journal to organize your thoughts, keep your space clean. Libra/7th house - kidneys, lower back, bladder, buttocks
— Find a way to maintain a balanced lifestyle that works for you. Add a variety of nutrients to your diet, foods for healthy kidneys to make that skin glow, antioxidant foods and supplements. Keep your kidneys and bladder healthy. Lower body and buttocks exercises, strength training, dancing, going out for walks. Decorate and beautify your own place, try new recipes, go for a picnic. How you feel is more important than how you look, make yourself feel pretty, do a skincare routine, create a vision board, romanticize your life. Be the person you want to love and identify your own opinions from those of others, yours matter. 
Scorpio/8th house - genitals, colon, urethra, reproductive system

Mars - chest, muscles, blood, genitals — can influence accidents, wounds, muscles weakness, energy levels, genital diseases.
Jupiter - liver, kidneys, pancreas, thighs — can influence cholesterol issues, fatty liver, toxins overload, diabetes, kidneys issues.
Saturn - bones, teeth, hair, legs, joints, knees — can influence knee or joint problems, dental problems, wisdom teeth, bone diseases, hair loss.

So y'all know about my HC of Ellie adoring flowers (the same being true for Gabby) so here's a fic where Gabby treats Ellie to some nice therapeutic floral warmth after a long day at work for her. You can bet that this is a reoccurring event in their cozy lifestyle.

It was late one night, and Ellie was being forced to work overtime for that evening, and it left Gabby home alone awaiting her freckled sweetheart.
It’d been a few months since they started dating and living in the same house – and Ellie was still doing her best to find the money she needed to achieve her fashion designer dreams. It wasn’t easy, it never was. But Gabby knew just how to support her beloved. She knew what Ellie loved. And she knew how to bring her girlfriend into a peaceful, happy state, even after the worst days.
That evening, Gabby was busy setting up some candles besides the girls’ bed, fluffing their pillows, and settling some of Ellie’s beloved stuffed rabbits in their bed. She’d even taken it upon herself to wash their cozy, fuzzy blanket using Ellie’s favorite peony detergent.
Admittedly, Gabby made a bit of a mess while trying to do so. Laundry detergent can get everywhere if you’re not careful. But she didn’t mind cleaning up for her girlfriend. She loved her enough that she’d do anything to make her life easier.
It was as Gabby was making the final touches on the girls’ bed that the Tree Hugger heard a few knocks on the bedroom door. The brunette hurried to the door and opened it wide. There, Ellie stood waiting for her. She looked beyond exhausted, hair wildly messed up and dark rings forming underneath her eyes. It wasn’t anything new for the Polish girl seeing her girlfriend so tired, but it was a sobering sight nonetheless. Nonetheless, the redhead gazed at her beautiful girlfriend and managed a weak smile. “Hey, my beautiful Nature Princess.” Gabby gave her beloved a peck on her cheek, “Welcome home, my Sunset Angel!”
The redhead returned the favor with a gentle kiss on the tip of Gabby’s nose, making her giggle. “Thanks, sweetheart…” She stretched with a tired moan. “I wish I could say it was a good day, but…you know what my overtime shifts can be like.” She rubbed her own back gently, “It feels like my bones are threatening to snap in two if I work another minute.” “You don’t have to worry anymore, sweetie,” Gabby comforted her beloved, rubbing her sides gently. “Let’s get you in bed.”
With that, the Minimum Wage Worker stumbled towards the girls’ bed that Gabby had prepared for her. “Wow…you made it look really nice tonight, Gabbs,” she spoke in pleasant surprise. “No trouble at all!” squeaked the brunette in glee, glad her girlfriend liked her handiwork.
Ellie laid backwards upon the girls’ double bed, and already felt some of her stress and pains start to fade as she registered its soft warmth. “Ohhh yeah…this feels so good,” purred the redhead in joy, heart lighting up with warmth as she let her head sink gently into her light pink pillow and pulled the girls’ soft pastel blue blanket around herself. That’s when she noticed its scent – as if it had freshly left a field full of soft pink peonies. The American girl didn’t hesitate and took a deep, long breath, savoring the blanket’s sweet smell, pulling it up to her nose to fill her mind with its delicate aroma. “Mmmm…it smells so nice! Did you wash our blanket for me, too?” She gave the brunette a smile full of gratitude and joy. It was totally adorable. “You got it, sweetheart,” chirped the nature-lover, “Whenever you have a hard day like today, I wanna make sure to pamper you to the best of my abilities until you feel all better.”
Ellie could feel her heart melting as she registered each gentle, loving word of her girlfriend. Her heart fluttered as she gazed up at her Nature Princess. How lucky was she to have this perfect ray of sunshine in her life?
Gabby now brought out a tiny lighter and picked up one of the candles she had set up next to the girls’ bed, on Ellie’s  side. It had bright red wax and was labelled “Angelic Aroma of Reddest Roses”. Gabby gave a little giggle as she lit up the wick at the top of the candle and set it next to where Ellie was lying. “What’s this?” Ellie asked out of curiosity, the tiny flicker of the flaming candle reflected in her azure eyes. “Just close your eyes and take a deep breath,” the brunette instruced her, softly stroking her hair for a moment.
Ellie did as she was told. She shut her eyes and took a breath through her nose – and sure enough…a warm floral scent entered her mind, reminiscent of the freshest, deepest red roses blooming in the summertime. It gently intertwined with the scent of peonies radiating from her blanket, surrounding her with pure aromatic bliss.
For a few minutes, Ellie had forgotten she was in her bed. For that moment in time, Ellie felt like she was in the midst of a field of the most beautiful red and pink flowers, air filled with their wonderful scents. Wherever she turned, she could smell the sweet, light aroma of peony on one side and the deep, rich, intoxicating fragrance of red roses on the other. Every painful memory of that long, awful working day had disappeared from her mind. Now, all she felt was pure bliss. She kept her eyes shut, continuing to breathe deeply, enveloped in the purifying scent of the flowers she was picturing around her.
Ellie might not have realized it at the time, but Gabby was watching her with pure joy. The Tree Hugger knew that she’d succeeded in bringing pure joy to the redhead. Every breath Ellie took in was long and deep, savoring wave after wave of the pure aromatic euphoria she was in. Every breath she let out was a long, happy “aaahhhhhhhh,” face lighting up with the brightest and most beautiful smile. Gabby couldn’t help but tear up a little from joy and adoration of the angel she had in her life. She was so, so very glad to have made her so happy.
Eventually the brunette, gently as she could, climbed into bed alongside the freckled one, wrapping herself up under the warm, comforting blue blanket she’d washed. Taking a moment to breathe the aroma permeating the air herself, Gabby shut her eyes and prepared to let sleep take its hold on her, expecting Ellie to follow soon after.
When… “Hey, Gabby-bear,” purred the redhead, reaching her hand behind her and grasping her loved one’s hand. Opening one eye, Gabby responded, “Yes, my darling Ellie-kins?” “Could we go on a date to the local garden tomorrow?” she squeaked, “Because…I’d love to spend an entire day admiring flowers with you. It just makes me feel…” She took in one more deep breath of the peony-rose scent filling the room, “…so at home. Wherever we are. And it feels even better…knowing I have you by my side.” “Aww, of course we can, my sweet darling Ellie,” Gabby chirped, nuzzling into the crook of her girlfriend’s neck. “I’d go anywhere with you, my beloved.” “Thank you…thank you so much, Gabby.” Ellie turned around and let her nose brush up against Gabby’s, pushing their foreheads together. “I love you so much…my one and only Nature Princess.” Gabby felt herself tearing up one more time, and she wrapped her arms around her freckled soulmate in a tender embrace. “And I love you too, my precious and beautiful Sunset Angel.”
