characters who ignore their emotions are great but can we talk about characters that physically/magically carve their emotions out of their body so that they don't have to deal with them anymore

Once again realizing smth,
If we get another kh4 trailer and terra or riku appear in it, i would fucking die
Terra , riku + kh4 graphics= me dead
Or if we get any new designs for the wayfinder trio , roxas and namine(since axel , saix and xion already got outfits in the kh 3 ending I didn't count them here)
Like what would the wayfinder trio wear, would they keep their scala ad caleum clothing styles but have it look more mastery or would they get more modern outfits ?
... does anyone have a picture of terra wearing modern clothing? ... Just asking... For no reason at all

Some thoughts on Aderyn Hawke
@theoriginalladya
This got a little longer than I intended.
The character that would be interested in spinning and yarn making, would be Aderyn Hawke.
She is very much the most ... I'm not even sure which word would be right. She's an herbalist and alchemist and as the eldest she was the one that helped her mother with so many of the tasks of the household.
I think that given her foci and interests, fiber arts would be something she would find immense relaxation and joy in. I think it would be something to calm her nerves. It might even be something she takes up for herself, especially after her time in the Fade. It would help distract her from the memories. It might even be a way for her to also demonstrate that care for those she loves, another way she can make sure they are safe and comfortable.
Despite her skill on the field of battle, she is a woman whose life took a direction she never really wanted. She wanted what she saw her parents have--a loving marriage, a happy and safe family.
And while she did meet the love of her life early on, it took decades for she and Cullen to even get near to that domestic dream the two of them conjured together in the wilds near Lothering during long walks and talks under the lush boughs.
She's a talented woman, whose life detoured in many ways from her own simple plans and ideas for it. She tries her damnedest to snatch hints and touches of it. I think this might be another thing within her control that she could use to make her life more of what she wants it to be, rather than what the world her seems to keep moving it toward.

I'm getting so sick of major female characters in historical media being incredibly feisty, outspoken and public defenders of women's rights with little to no realistic repercussions. Yes it feels like pandering, yes it's unrealistic and takes me out of the story, yes the dialogue almost always rings false - but beyond all that I think it does such a disservice to the women who lived during those periods. I'm not embarrassed of the women in history who didn't use every chance they had to Stick It To The Man. I'm not ashamed of women who were resigned to or enjoyed their lot in life. They weren't letting the side down by not having and representing modern gender ideals. It says a lot about how you view average ordinary women if the idea of one of your main characters behaving like one makes them seem lame and uninteresting to you.

Obsessed with characters who portray themselves as worse than they are. Who are lying to everyone including themselves about it. People generally assume if someone's lying about themselves they're trying to look better but sometimes they're trying to look worse. They attribute agency to where they had none, add intend to accidents, try to convince everyone that this is something they did instead of something that happened to them.

I wish we had more female characters like Eleanor Shellstrop. One of the most unlikable people you've ever met. Read a Buzzfeed article on most rude things you can do on a daily basis and decided to use that as a list of goals. Makes everyone's day worse just by being there. Dropped a margarita mix on the ground and tried to pick it up, only to get hit by a row of shopping carts which pushed her into the road where she was hit by a boner pill delivery truck, killing her instantly. Cannot keep a romantic partner despite being bisexual. Had a terrible childhood but will die before she gets therapy. Best employee at a scam company. Just the worst but also can't help but root for her to improve.
Absolute loser. Girl-failure. Bad at almost everything. Literally perfect female character.
