Idk why I find the fact Mihawk writes Y/N Reader inserts so funny but so true and I have reader inserts blocked on here like I hate them but oh my god so in character for him.

And he does not give a shit. Absolutely go king and getting fantasy dicked down by all the hot guys in one piece world I support! Also him being a sengoku shipper iconic. I was say maybe he thinks about Kuzan but I think he’s out off by his general laziness and apathy and not in a fun apathetic way like Barsolino in a depression way. ( he’s looking in a mirror and does not like it.) but if he learns Dragon used to be a marine and friends with Akainu he’s making the most toxic relationship of them friends to enemies to nemesis type shit.

He’ll write a new book and it will be a sensation and no matter the fact he changed the names everyone with a brain cell will be able to figure out who it’s about.

YES YES YES!!! I don't really like self insert stuff either but it's so in-character for him I'm so obsessed.

And yeah it really is just the adventures of reader as they travel across the grand line getting dicked down is definitely one of his most beloved and acclaimed series. Shanks goes hot and cold on that series a lot because while the idea of watching mihawk getting dicked down by another man is very hot Shanks is also a jealous man and he is very jealous of these "fictional" men. He tries to find out if mihawk has ever fucked any of them in real life and maybe 👀.

Also yeah I just threw in the marine thing because I thought it was funny but I'm glad it stuck out! 😂. I don't think he self ships with any of the marines (maybe in his GILF era sengoku or fujitoro) I think because none of the really strong marines appeal to him but he would fuck smoker if he was stronger. and just because I remembered dude and I think it would be so funny imagine if his only self x marine ship is with Ryokugyu (the tree admiral) I think he'd hate him in life but he's not blind. I think this realllllly pisses shanks off because he does not like him and honestly its a bit of a snake eating his own tail because a lot of the reason he doesn't like him is because of Mihawk's fanfiction of him.

I think Mihawk's natural reaction (mostly because it's mine) is to ship Sengoku with Garp but he hates Garp and even the thought of picturing him in that way is enough to make him want to pour his ears to bleach his brain. I think it be funny if during one of his lackadaisical checking out marine headquarters rooms (because realistically who is going to stop him) he stumbles upon and old picture of Garp Sengoku and Tsuru when they were young and he is very intrigued by thetwo hot young men then he notices that one of them is Garp and he almost throws up, the thought wont leave him alone tho.

Also yes i don't think Mihawk actually knows dragon but he has definitely heard of him and being Garps son is enough cause for pettitness in his eyes. Dragon's identity is a little harder to parse out I the books but Akainu's is so fucking obvious. And it is a loved and well-cherished series. Anytime that Mihawk attends a warlord meeting or just genuinely has an unpleasant interaction with akainu (which is every interaction) he puts pen to paper. It'd be funny if this was the most "tame" series though more focused on the fictional romace which confuses dragon and pisses akainu off even more because what? do they think he can't take it? and mihawk is very pleased with himself. he drops a new edition right before he goes to any warlord meeting so he can watch akainu seethe in real time as the new talk of the town takes root (this series specifically is very popular in marine towns)

as for the real life identities. I think he definitely makes it a bit hard not to protect anyone. Still, because he thinks it's fun to make people guess and adds to the mystery so there is definitely a fan club (which Shanks leads) dedicated to putting the clues together on just who all the different men are (shanks needs this for....research purposes 👀) some of them are obvious if you're in the know like the Benn ones or Crocodile while others are just plain obvious because the Red Haired Emperor is definitely shanks like if you know shanks you know its him there is only two people with hair that red. It's not kidd( it does give both kidd and shanks a bit of a reputation of some islands because his book counterpart is infinitely more dashing and "masculine" that shanks' bum and kid's manica energies) and I think he makes the Akianu ones very obvious to anybody that literally even if you've just ever heard of him you know its him just to fuck with him.

Gator was standing in the doorway, his eyes half lidded, a lazy seductive smirk pulling at the edges of his lips. His boots were gone, his top layers peeled down to his black tee shirt, gloves in his hands, bandana tucked down around his neck. Billy swallowed hard, it wasn't right that this trashy hillbilly was so fucking hot. It wasn't right that Gator had Billy's body reacting so desperately to just the sight of him.

“I thought I told ya ta have on ya collar, Bills.” Gator rasped.

Billy rolled his shoulders, the scar on his left stinging and opened his mouth to speak but Gator was rushing at him and Billy didn't have time to scramble away. Gator tucked down and grabbed Billy around his waist, lifted him up over his shoulder then tossed him down onto the bed.

“Jesus, you're gonna break my fucking bed, Gator.” Billy huffed out from his place sprawled out on the bed.

Getting into his elbows Billy watched as Gator inspected the frame of the bed then shrugged. Gator slowly and entirely too sensually stripped out of his shirt then mud spattered pants. Billy shamelessly ogled Gator's slim toned body. While Gator's body wasn't well defined, no clear sharp lines to show the muscle underneath, Billy found the deceptively small bulge of muscle to be more than enough to pin him down and that had Billy practically salivating.

The thought also had Billy's bloody flushing and his cock hardening in his shorts. Gator pulled his hat off and tossed it aside as he crawled onto the bed. The feel of Gator's tongue running up the outer line of his abs then up over his nipple had Billy moaning and collapsing back into the bed.

“I love the way ya taste.” Gator whispered before he bit the swell of Billy's pec.

Billy spread his thighs even wider, welcoming the feeling of Gator pressing into him. Trailing kisses up Billy's throat and jaw Gator whispered against Billy's lips before kissing him deeply.

When the elevator doors opened Eddie made sure to check both ways down the hall before making his way down it. He paused outside of the room and tried to settle the nerves rising up in his chest, tried to convince himself to turn and fucking leave before he did this again.

But Eddie was a weak man, and all he could do was knock.

The door opened fast, like someone had been waiting on the other side, and Eddie felt a moment of panic as a large hand fisted in his t-shirt and pulled, and for not the first time he was sure this was it. The game was up. Ashton Kutcher would be there with a camera, laughing about him being Punk’d, and Eddie’s life would be over.

The thought only lasted as long as it took for Eddie to stumble inside and then be shoved back into the closed door, as a pair of strong hands grabbed his hips and soft lips attached themselves to his neck.

“Jesus,” he moaned out, as the lips went straight to his pulse point and sucked hard. “You waiting for me, Harrington?”

there's so much material to her!

i thought i'd never write for dishonored 2 (not derogatory - its my favourite game). its undoubtedly linear & doesn't have the mystery or grit of dh1 IMO.

but i saw lapin post that billie & emily comic, and i saw a few other people i respect mention billie/emily and it had me rotating them until the abjection/emily-monster thing clicked and then it was downhill from there

but there's more to think about - what billie has been doing with herself, how she feels about daud & the whalers at this point in her life, her relationship with sokolov (god.a separate rant), her history in karnaca & dunwall, emily's place in the empire and how that fits into billie's story, her lifelong revenge arc, and comparisons between jessamine & deirdre.

like. when you consider billie's perspective you realise how fucking badass she is for going back to dunwall. she not only did it scared she did it scared for her life. suicidal level flimsy disguise trapped in a tin can with your enemy. etc

Chapter 2 Excerpt

Delgado needs the Legacy like he needs air. When he indulges himself in the pirate captain Verity Blanche’s loathsome little game of give and take, he finds that it might just be worth it if he can achieve his dream through her.

Excerpt:

“Better put that scarf over your mouth,” Verity says as she pulls her own out, covering everything but her silver snake eyes.

He selects four of his crew mates to take with him. Ripley, who makes up for his lack of personality with a hell of a sniping skill. Murdock, a stealth scoundrel who is quirky but loyal. Ness, who is a little trigger happy but avoids the friendly fire, and on the occasion that she doesn’t, it’s usually the weakest link anyway. Last but not least is Maeble. A bounty hunter turned pirate. They can crush just about anything with their fists but their knack for tracking always sets Delgado’s mind at ease in case anyone were to get lost.

They suit up and follow his lead, leaving the other half of the crew to man the ship in his absence.

The landing ramp lowers and dust swirls, wind skinning and scraping their face with heat and sand. Verity stretches out her gloved hand and Del instinctively grasps it. She’s not going to leave him behind in this fucking storm. But he doesn’t take the hands of his crew. They are on their own.

The visibility is terrible. Even while holding Verity’s hand, he can barely make out the edge of her boot.

“How far?” He shouts at Verity.

“Not far!”

They trudge through the sand and storm, the monotony of pushing against the elements starting to wear on him. Of all the locations on this planet for her to settle down, she picked the fucking desert. Though, he supposes, the options on Strix I are limited. Either freeze your cajones off in the mountains or roast them down in the desert.

“Ey, boss! We got something on the scanners!”

Del exchanges Verity’s hand for his gun. “Alright everybody, stay close! Eyes sharp! Be ready for anything!”

He hopes his crew can hear him over the roar of the rising winds. The storm is picking up quick and they need to pick up the pace. A strange hiss and smack filters through the din of the storm and Delgado whips his head to the left, eyes scrutinizing the layered haze.

“Fuck, watch out for the arachnoflies. They come up on you fast! And their bite stings like a bitch!” Verity shouts as she backs up against him.

The others gather in a similar fashion, pairing up back to back.

The insects swarm them from all sides. Ranging from large to massive. Not a single one is squishable like the occasional heatleech that slips onto his ship.

He loads a round of bullets into the first set. One crawls right up on him, its iridescent fly eyes inches from his face. He yanks the knife from his belt. With a heavy handed jab, the arachnofly shrieks, its spider-like legs flailing as it reels up. Stabbing and twisting his blade into it again and again, it stills. But the next one crawls over its body, larger and baring its fangs.

“Del, look out!” Verity tugs him out of the way as the arachnofly snaps at the air.

Soooooo excited for chapter 4 of star wars au. Are you gonna hit us with 40k again?

at the moment what i have planned for this chapter feels like it’ll take me about 20k to cover. it’s all from beatrice’s perspective - a little bit about love as a slowly-mending bone. a little bit about surviving in a very dark place.

with the lilith scenes i’ll be putting up (separately, for that sweet sweet e rating) this whole ‘section’ of luminous beings will probably end up closer to 30k.
