Do y'all ever think about huskerdust pillow talk?
Angel Dust spends all his time saying the right, or the funny, thing to everyone all the time for his job, to keep up appearances whereas husk is just straight up. Husk is always quiet. He really only speaks when spoken to or if particularly annoyed. Sometimes, you gotta wonder, if Angel laying next to Husk finally finds himself speechless and Husk finally finds he has so much he wants to say. Does he say corny shit like "I ain't ever met anyone as pretty as you?" Or does he get more real with it?
"We belong to other people," husk could whisper in the dark.
"Unfortunate, ain't it?" Angel would respond in a bitter laugh.
"Maybe for tonight," husk would start.
And Angel would give him that look. The look filled with anticipation, fear, and curiosity. The look husk found himself not minding all that much these days.
"we can pretend we belong to each other," Husk would finish.
Angel Dust would snort and push at his chest. What a dorky thing to say. Perhaps Husk would grab his hands, and Angel would look at that dopey grin on his face, reserved only for him. Maybe Angel's teasing grin would fall into a small shy smile. As husk would bury his face into Angel's chest, and Angel would bury his face into the top of husk's head, the two would find out how good they are at pretending.

youve probably gotten this question a dozen times but im just nosy, have you ever read grrm's other work a song of ice and fire? (NOT the tv show) if not, the way you post about messmer & marika's relationship makes me feel like youd love everything going on in those books haha
i do get a lot of comments telling me my OCs looks like characters from that (?) (and to this day i still do not look up any of those characters to see how they look like aksjfjkdfjkd), so a lot of ppl just assume i've read those books but i have never read any of it. yeah 🥲🥲
but some of my mutuals do blog about the show and the books a lot, and ngl after the DLC, im kinda curious ? so maybe i'll check it out in the future... idk yet.
last time i checked out a Western fantasy series........... it was crazy. (the fit i was having after i read through all Witcher books because of the TV show...... idk if anyone even remember that phase of this blog, but the reason i started playing videogame in the first place is because of Witcher)
up until this point i only look at Elden Ring in comparison to other Fromsoft games (and Sinosphere culture influence in the theme and design), but lately i do feel like i should check out GRRM work as well, but i also feel like it'd literally make my brainrot even worse so................ decision, decision.

tua3 was so tough. within the year it after it came out -- june 22 2022 - june 22 2023 -- just 2,679 works under the fandom tag were updated on AO3. that may seem like a decent chunk, but compare this to the relatively even distribution between july 31 2020 - july 21 2021 (the year after season 2 came out), where 5,326 were updated, and february 15, 2019 - february 15, 2020 (the year after season one), where there were 5,637. tua used to have one of the most vibrant, collaborative, active fandoms i've ever had the pleasure to be in, and the sheer mediocrity of season 3 seemed to just take a wrecking ball to that community pretty much overnight. literally cut its fanfiction output in half. still makes me sad.

God help me. I listened to “Biggering” one too many times and now I’m actually trying to write an outline for a stage musical adaptation of The Lorax (2012) that is Not Shit.

*we would watch shows from the beginning until we lost interest, then we'd jump ahead in the series and repeat until we had a good overall impression of the show (we mostly cared about characterization and relationship dynamics).
