Simon starts writing to you through a military penpal program Price had all of them in. Ofc, like the rat bastard he is, he drags his fuckin feet on it. Eventually, you manage to get him a little more willing to write back and it seems like he even looks forward to it. He's the first one to grab his letter from the container when they come. He claims it's to get it over with, but the other guys know better.

You'd think the other guys would be the ones more open to their penpals but NO. They managed to be paired with some of, who they call, the most boring people they could have met. Hell, even Price began to drag his feet after the 2nd letter back.

Simon seems to be the only one actually enjoying his exchanges, even if he tries to hide it. Johnny's the first one to get curious, wanting to know what the LT's got that's good enough to loosen the stick in his ass.

While Simon's out of the room, Johnny reads through the first couple letters Simon received. Your sweet words, stupid jokes, and genuine care are a stark contrast from the uninterested and short words he received from his penpal.

He stops writing to his penpal, not that they noticed/ cared, and grew the balls to write you one. He claimed his penpal dropped out, so they had to make do, not that you minded. And God, when you started to write back, he swore it was like he was a schoolboy all over again. Getting excited for the letters, heart racing as he reads your carefully written words, counting down the days till he gets another.

He gets ballsy one night and opens up to Gaz about what he did, not showing a single crumb of remorse. Tells him all about how sweet you are, how you show genuine care for his safety, even giving the idea of sending a care package. He could see that same thought process going through Kyle's mind, contemplating switching to you. He gave Kyle your address and told him to just come up with an excuse.

Now Kyle's a little smarter than Johnny, knowing that if Ghost finds out he's probably fucked. However, at the end of the day, he's a lonely man. He had this sweet thing like you just within reach and he's supposed to not take it? Yeah right.

He gave the same excuse Johnny did, claiming his penpal's schedule became too busy to write back, and just like that you had 3 soldiers wrapped around your finger. He sweet talked you, gave little puns here and there, really became like a lap cat. He wasn't as forward as Johnny and not as refrained as Simon. He gave you music recommendations when you say you like a certain genre, he gave you book recommendations, even sent you photos of him in front of a helicopter (you begged for it when he told you about him falling out).

Now, Simon isn't stupid. He isn't clueless. He noticed that the first couple letters went missing. Then he noticed Johnny being more eager to write. Same with Kyle. He noticed how they seemed to pull away from him when the topic was brought up. He's not a stupid man.

He might even be considered generous (don't say it to his face though, he'll take it as sarcasm). He knows the boys are talking to his penpal, but he'll be kind enough to share. His sweet lil thing. If you can keep up, that is. Your letters seem to boost morale and bring a small light that wasn't there before. They're all hard-working men, risking their lives to keep the world clean. They deserve this, don't they?

Even Price finds himself wanting in on it. If you can manage to bring Simon happiness (again, he won't admit it) and keep the other boys happy, surely you can take on one more. He sends you a letter, as their captain, and thanks you for what you've done. You're such a kind soul for giving these men some hope in their lives (laying it on thick, gotta keep em interested) and how much you've helped their performances.

They all write to you, their unofficial 141 penpal, and it works surprisingly well. The lines begin to blur a bit on being platonic and something else, but it'll be sorted out eventually. For now you're just theirs (Simon came around to it once he realized you had plenty of love to go around). You're the 141's, even if you don't fully understand what that means.

I came up with this AU a couple of months ago, and since a moot encouraged me to share with the class I might as well (plus I also wanna draw this AU lol)

I'll call this au Be Born as a placeholder rn lol

SO this au starts right after HMS managed to find a way to end the loop, and they harmonise permanently. Whole basically gains the courage to confess to his crush (still don't have a name for her) and she also confesses her mutual feelings, Blah Blah Blah, they date, yada yada yada, they get married and have a pair of twins.

I also have to say that Whole, whom I will call CJ from this point forward (Does NOT mean Chonny Jash, its a diff name, same acronym) is aware and remembers HMS quite a bit. Most of his memories/knowledge of them has faded since the harmonising was over 6 years ago, but he still remembers a few key details like their roles, some of their names and a blurry image of what they look like.

Soo like the VERY FUNCTIONAL human being CJ is, decides to name his twin sons after two of the voices in his head. Wow, clap for the man everyone whoooo-. The names he uses are Artemis and Apollo. A year later, they have another child whom he names, say it with me! ATLAS WHO WOULD HAVE GUESSED AHH. Atlas was born on the same day as Artemis and Apollo so you'd argue their triplets lol.

OHHH this is a normal au there couldn't possibl- SIKE THIS SHET HAS ✨️MAGIC✨️ BECAUSE PLAIN HIGH SCHOOL AUS ARE OVERRATED /J /SILLY /LH

And this is where I ruin the au🧍‍♂️🧍‍♂️🧍‍♂️

OK SO during the time the twins still weren't born, Heart began to wonder what it must be like to live life as your own person, to have a childhood, go school- etc etc (HMS split up into existence when CJ was 18 not too long before he dropped out of college) he starts rambling to Mind and Soul about this, Mind tries to shrug it off as a plain "What if" sanario or daydream but also ends up thinking the same.

This is also fueled by the fact that they spent majority of their existence fighting each other never living an even remotely normal day in their life.

Soul wants both of them to be happy, plus he also starts to get infected with this desire and curiosity. SO he somehow finds out he can cut off a prong of the trident and make it a dagger which he can link Heart or Mind to making them particularly function as a soul.

Soul also wants to be with his halves so he asks for Heart's blindfold and Mind's crown to create a puppet that can serve thr roles of all three of them. Which he names Harmonia (AYO OMORIHMS AU FORSHADOWING?!?!?!)

Harmonia is basically a perfect copy of CJ lol. Soul leaves Harmonia alone to look after CJ with his trident(now pretty much a spear) a crown of a ruler who has stepped down from his throne and a blindfold used to protect its previous wearer from the blinding lights of the Sun.

You can kinda just ignore that part if you want (still on the fence with it but I'll most likely go with it) cus it doesn't really effect the story if you were to erase it. All that happens mostly is Deju Vu

I don't really need to explain which HMS is which kid hah.

I'm now gonna explain the three kids.

First is Artemis, who is TECHNICALLY the older twin (he came out first). Artemis is based on the right brain being not only the emotional side but also the creative and artistic side. So yes... he is an artist. Quite extroverted, still likes his peace and quiet, yeahhhh

Second is Apollo, the "younger" twin (funny because he's the tallest out of the three). Ehh, you know the drill, straight A's student... hot nerd even (JOKE. DONT KILL ME. NO. NUH UH. I WAS JOKING EH) the classic "grades over mental health because" guy. Monotone and deep voice but is surprisingly approachable (unless he put you on his "No likey" list based on first impressions lol).

Last but not least, Atlas, the poor younger sibling who keeps getting caught in the crossfire between his two older siblings. He's more on the athletic side, being hockey team (suggested by randa). The most energetic of the three, as a kid, he often asked his brothers to play with him, which is why the trio grew up to be really close.

Uhhhh some trivia/fun facts to maybe explain their characters a bit more:

• Apollo and Artemis "fight" from time to time but its mostly "YOU FATASS, YOU ATE ALL MY KITKATS" then dramatic pause then "Dad made waffles."

• Apollo's favourite book is No Longer Human by Osamu Dazai.

• Artemis is the shortest of the three and gets flamed by Apollo about it

• CJ doesn't have a favourite child

• Apollo is the one that sits on the front passenger seat of the car, and will die fighting for it.

• Apollo is a cat person while Artemis is a dog person.

• Sexualities

AH! Sorry! I guess it didn't occur to me that some wouldn't know what tone tags were. Here's a full guide from this site!

what is tone? tone is what a phrase or statement means or comes across as despite what it's actually saying. examples of tone could be serious, joking, lighthearted, etc.

what are tone tags? tone tags / tone indicators are things you can include with text to indicate what the tone of it is.

why are they used? some people have difficulty picking up on tone. communicating through text only makes this harder due to lack of audio and physical clues (voice inflection, body language, facial expressions, etc.) tagging what tone you are using can be very helpful for others understanding of what you're saying, clarification, avoiding miscommunications, etc.

when/where should they be used? they can be used any time or place you may be communicating through text. do not mock the use of tone tags. you may not need them but some people do. not everyone can tell when something is a joke, etc. just be nice about it.

Commonly used tone tags:

/j = joke

/hj = half joke

/ly or /lyr = lyrics

/pos = positive

/neg = negative

/lh = light hearted

/nm = not mad

/s or /sarc = sarcastic

/nbh = no body here (this is used alongside a rant/vent that has not named a specific person- people may think you are talking about them and spiral)

/genq = genuine question

/nf = not forced

/plat = platonic

/r = romantic

/srs = serious

/t = teasing

Why use tone tags?:

Tone can be a very difficult thing to pick up, especially through text. Use of punctuation and capital letters and certain word choices can make a sentence seem completely different. For example, if I received a text saying "Come see me right now." I would instantly think I was in trouble and would panic. However, if I received that same message with a "/nm" I would feel much better about the situation. People use punctuation in different ways as well! I personally use exclamation marks to show how excited I am !! While for others, a multitude of exclamation marks could indicate sarcasm. Same with the use of emojis. I personally use some emojis to indicate sarcasm, but I know people who use those same emojis to indicate... Well, what the emoji is showing. So, to use a tone tag avoids any sort of miscommunication.

When to use tone tags?:

Deciding when to use tone tags can be difficult. I personally use tone tags when I reread a message and realise it is ambiguous in tone, or when I reread it, it sounds more aggressive or rude than I intended it to be.

If somebody asks you what you mean by a message, this is probably a sign that you need a tone tag of sorts. Not all people are going to interpret things the way you intend them to be, so tone tags as a whole are helpful to avoid miscommunication. Sometimes the context of the message being sent can change someone's perception so tone tags are not always needed e.g. "omg I love you so much! You're so awesome!" This may be seen as genuine, while "omg you're so awesome." Can be seen as sarcastic. It depends on how that person's brain works.

If you are talking directly with one person, or a small group of people, and you know their typing habits (such as using emojis for sarcasm or use of punctuation) then tone tags may be needed less! But if you are talking to a group of people, such as on Tumblr, it may be easier to use tone tags as more people will see what you've said and... Well people may not understand what you meant!

Some words may have different connotations through different contexts, such as the word "silly". But sometimes people may not understand that context. I typically use Silly in a positive way, but at one point I referred to a character I didn't like as a "silly man" with my friend who had no clue who this character was. To them, this meant I liked this character, which left them confused when I started talking about them in a bad way. So, I started adding "/neg" anytime I meant silly in a negative way to avoid confusion.

Other tone tag things:

Try and avoid piling of tone tags at the end of a message/post as this can be confusing. Id say try to use no more than 2, 3 at a maximum.

If you're cutting into the middle of a message with a tone tag, you can use brackets, but you don't have to! Do what makes you comfortable.

Use punctuation where you see fit.

You don't have to use tone tags for every message you send/everything you post! Use them when YOU think the tone could be ambiguous or if someone has directly asked you what you mean.

You don't have to know every tone tag ever. I've been using tone tags for a good 2 maybe 3 years now and I mainly use /nm, /j, /srs, /sarc and /pos.

I also use /silly, which I'm not sure is an actual tone tag. I use this if something I say seems passive aggressive or if I am in fact just being silly.

I hope this has helped! Tone tags are something that help me communicate with people and make me more comfortable! And I hope they can make it easier for you to communicate as well :]

I've considered it but I've struggled to adopt it when writing or just rapid fire responding to things, and usually I try to compensate by being a bit more over the top (if I'm being funny, I better be BIG SILLY so there's no room for interpretation) or toss in an lol, which was essentially my /lh or /pos for the longest time but I've used it less.

Also, much like I said, sometimes I am a prick! Sometimes I am rude! Charlie's legs ask earlier today? (Which upon inspection appears to be the only case I can even find from recent times????) Yep! That shit made me super uncomfortable, I didn't appreciate it, and I found the kindest way possible to tell that Anon to fuck off with that sort of thing. I would ask Anon to consider how folks that aren't part of their group chat or wherever they cooked up their "roast" how people not in on the joke would take it, particularly anyone with a stringy build like Charlie's.

In cases like that, I'm unapologetic for my tone, but I'd have been better off just deleting the ask and moving on in retrospect.

All of that being said, thank you for genuinely trying to understand where I'm coming from and taking my response to the critique in good faith. That means a lot, actually. As someone who has become more and more keenly aware of how my brain impacts perceived tone, etc, it is a weird thing to try and navigate publicly.

yes, of course! tone tags are used as a virtual replacement for body language and tone of voice. they’re very popular among autistic people since we often have a hard time identifying sarcasm for example.

Kaden's head was reeling, their cheeks flushed and their heart beating rapidly in their chest. It actually felt like their heart was about to explode. Kaden turned on their heel to see him, staring wide-eyed at you, almost like a deer caught in headlights. Kaden swallowed thickly.

"What was that?" He asked and Kaden wanted to die inside.

Matt and Kaden were just being goofs together. It wasn't unusual for these two to get into random playful "fights" which weren't fights in the slightest, more like playful wrestling matches over silly things like withholding keys and stuff, taunting the other to 'come get it' today was no different.

Kaden had taken his keys and taunted him until they were a mess of limbs on the couch, Matt managed to get on top of them and pinned them down on their stomach. Kaden had the keys clutched tightly against their chest so if Matt really wanted them he would have to dig them out.

"You're lucky I'm being nice and not using my full strength" Matt grinned.

It was all very light-hearted and playful! That was until Kaden made an off-handed comment, it was something they just said without thinking much of it, they didn't think he'd literally do it.

"Oh bite me!"

"Well If you insist~" Matt didn't know! He was just being playful!

Kaden was trying to squirm out from under him and told him no, do not bite them!!

They were laughing because yeah, they were having fun. Kaden managed to squeeze out from under him and stood to their feet but Matt was quick, he sprang up from the couch and wrapped his arms around Kaden's upper arms, trapping their arms against the sides of their body, he pulled them in flush against him, their back collided with his chest when Matt let out a playful growl and bit into the junction of Kaden's shoulder and neck it was a playful bite but it was also hard, he used some force when he clamped down on their skin which caused Kaden to accidentally let out a low moan.

They both froze. Matt detached his mouth from Kaden and Kaden's expression was nothing less than horrified. So this was where they were right now, Kaden inhaled deeply they wanted to eject themselves into space, Kaden you dumb fuck…

"W-What was what?" Kaden tried their best to feign innocence even though they both knew what just happened. Kaden's eyes flicked up to Matt's only to see that his face was equally as flushed.

"I was expecting a cry? A yell? ….you…" Matt shuffled on his feet, the confidence he once had from playing around had disintegrated and he looked a little shy.

'Oh god, I made him uncomfortable!' Kaden was mentally slapping themselves, they glanced away. This relationship was still somewhat fresh and while they've done stuff together they haven't gotten too intimate with each other, not enough to find out what kinks the other person had.

"I..uh…" Kaden fell silent, they didn't know what to say, they just knew they wanted to run away and try to stop their face from wanting to explode. This was terrible!

"So you're kinda a freak?" Matt said bluntly, his voice holding a hint of playfulness to it and Kaden's attention drew to him, they looked at him in shock only to see Matt with a rather smug little smirk on his face. "My lover is a freeeeeeak~" Matt grinned, grabbing Kaden's arm, pulling them into him.

"I am not!!!" Kaden flailed and Matt grinned, resuming his position before, wrapping his arms tight around Kaden.

"You are~" Matt chuckled lowly.

"S-Shut up!" Kaden laughed softly.

"Now to use my powers for good or evil~" Matt teased, as he dipped his head down, nudging his head under Kaden's chin as he placed soft kisses along their jawline. Kaden's face felt like it was going to burst and their breathing hitched when they felt him reach their neck.

He pulled away and grinned widely when he heard Kaden let out a little whine. Matt was quick and snatched his keys out of Kaden's hand and Kaden was standing there dazed and stunned.

"I win~" Matt dangled his keys in front of Kaden's face and smiled widely.

"Son of a bitch! you cheated!" Kaden snapped when their brain caught up with them.

"Hey, it's not my fault you got distracted. It's also not my fault you get horny when you get bit~" Matt winked playfully and Kaden had to walk away from the situation, they simultaneously wanted to jump him and smack him, and their reaction made Matt laugh.

Kaden ended up being distracted the entire day because of that little stunt from Matt. The part he bit was tender, he used a good amount of force behind that bite, Kaden brought their fingers up to the tender area and pressed a little, yup it was very tender and Kaden groaned softly, readjusting in their seat as they tried to compose themselves. They were at work, they couldn't think of that right now!

At the end of the day, Kaden was collecting their things when Matt surprise back hugged them and Kaden smiled, their hand coming up to ruffle a bit of his blonde hair.

"Hi Matt~"

"You done?" Matt kissed their cheek and pulled away from them.

"Yes, I'm free finally~" Kaden chuckled. It was the same thing every day, Matt would always find them and the first thing he did was hug them. Despite Matt's anger issues with other people when they arose he was actually incredibly sweet.

Kaden turned on their heel when Matt pulled away so they could face him, the corridor was somewhat loud with people talking amongst themselves as everyone was leaving work for the day. Matt glanced around. "Not too many people.." he mumbled.

Kaden tilted their head, a quizzical expression tugging their face. "hm? No there usually isn't..why?" Kaden raised an eyebrow. "Matt. Whyyyy?" Kaden asked, their voice holding a bit of suspicion.

"Well, you know…" Matt reached out and grabbed Kaden by their hips, pulling them into him. Kaden flushed a little but wrapped their arms loosely over his shoulders, they looked up at him and chuckled softly. What in the hell was he up to?

That's when Kaden felt themselves being pushed back, they nearly tripped and had to move their feet quickly to keep up with Matt, their back collided with the wall and Kaden groaned softly. "Matt," Kaden said sternly, their eyes locking with his.

His brown eyes glimmered with a hint of mischievous intent. "I've made a decision.." His voice was low, only enough for Kaden to hear as he moved in closer to them, he planted a firm quick to their lips that left Kaden feeling momentarily lightheaded.

"A-And that is?" Kaden asked breathlessly, their body once again heating up like they did earlier in the day.

Matt grinned, peppering small kisses along their jaw and down their neck, his lips pressed against the tender spot from earlier where he had bit, his grin only widening when Kaden let out a soft whimper. This was embarrassing, thankfully everyone was too caught up in their conversations to see the two at the end of the corridor.

"I think I'll use my power for evil.." Matt breathed against the spot.

"Remember to be quiet now~" Matt hummed, his one hand going up to Kaden's mouth before he sunk his teeth into the same spot he did before except this time he bit and he bit hard. Kaden's hands gripped the fabric of his uniform tightly, their eyes screwing tightly shut as they felt that familiar shiver of pleasure wracks through their body.

Matt pulled them flush against him as he began to suck at their flesh, Kaden could absolutely feel his arousal pressed up against their leg and Kaden whimpered against his hand. Matt finally let go of their skin, bringing his hand off their mouth as he lightly kissed the now-darkening purple mark on their skin.

He straightened his posture as Kaden's fists unballed from from uniform. He admired the look on Kaden's face, their cheeks flushed, their chest heaving, their lips parted and their eyes glazed over.

A small smug smirk graced his lips but it soon turned into surprise and laughter when Kaden grabbed him, dragging him off to the nearest janitorial closet. "Can't wait till we get back to your place?"

Kaden slammed the closet door behind them and kissed him hard, it was messy full of teeth and tongue. "You pull a stunt like that again and I'll fucking kill you.." Kaden moaned against his lips, their hands already finding their way to the zipper on his jumper, pulling it down as their mouth travelled down his neck.

"I pull a stunt like that again and I'm sure you'l-- a-ah.." Matt hissed through his teeth, his eyes screwing shut, Kaden gave him a taste of his own medicine in the exact spot where he had marked them. They sucked his flesh and moaned teasingly against him when they heard him groan softly.

Matt surprised himself with how he was reacting to Kaden's bite. "T-Touche.." Matt moaned softly as Kaden's hand went lower, making a point to gently scratch over his abdomen with their nails, not enough to draw blood or hurt him.

"G-Guess we're both freaks now huh~?"

mecchantheotaku here. I want to apologise for my reblog of that post. I was just making a joke about how my obsessive brain always leads things to certain things, a joke about me and not you. I did not in any way intend to pressure you into making another chapter. Please forgive me.

Sorry if I wasn’t as clear as I thought I was being, but I wasn’t pressured into writing it. My mind just changed instead at all the positive reception and theorizing over what would happen if the story continued. The “frustration” exhibited was more of a running gag than me feeling genuinely upset about it. That’s what the /lh (light hearted) and /j (joking) was for, I usually don’t add those to posts unless someone might get confused about what I’m talking about.

It's been a week since your last date with Idia and you're starting to believe that he's lost interest in you. However, Idia is insecure from what has happened on said date. Luckily, you're both able to clear each other's misconceptions.

AN: hhhhhh i'm sorry this took so longggg i just knew what I wanted to right but not how to write it, y'know. also i wanted to take a break from writing longer fics since I wrote the last one in the middle of the night (as if i'm not doing that again-)

You lay awake in bed. It's 1 am, the air is cool and the only noises you can hear are the trees shaking outside and Grim's little snores. You should, theoretically, be asleep right now. But your worries keep you up.

It's been about a week since your first, and seemingly last date with Idia Shroud. The boy you've had a crush on for so long. The boy you've been close friends with for even longer. And he hasn't talked to you since. You thought he hated you for that date. Maybe it was because you knew of his anxiety and still made him go outside. Maybe it was because you kicked him too much while playing that arcade game. Maybe it-

Your thoughts are luckily silenced by the bright light coming from your phone. You glance over at the notification. Speak of the devil.

Sans: hey you up?

You were annoyed by how nonchalant he seemed despite trying to avoid you for the past week but your desire to be closer to him was stronger than any resentment you had for the boy.

You: no lol

Your heart tightened with a multitude of different feelings. On one hand, you were upset because he could've spoken up about this beforehand. On the other hand, you would feel really bad to get mad at him if he was serious. And on a separate hand that swatted the other two away, you just wanted to hold your firey little shut in so bad!

You: you better not be lying y'know!

If you were mad before, that feeling was swiftly filled with amusement. You tried to keep your laughter in, so as not to wake Grim, who was still peacefully sleeping at the edge of your bed. Feeling mischievous, you decided to tease Idia.

You: so, you wanna see me so bad huh???

Sans: if it's about me being distant for the past week, ikik

Your nerves started to grow again. You two didn't even start dating yet and he wanted to break up?! Hopefully this was just a misunderstanding on your behalf but given how tired and already upset you were before, it was hard to think rotationally.

Sans: SO SOON?!?!

You were confused by his response. Clearly if he wanted you two to stay friends then he'd want to have this conversation earlier than later.

You hoped your texts didn't come off as too bitter but honestly, you just really didn't want the relationship you two started to end so quickly. With that text, you tried to go back to bed.

Idia dropped his phone on his desk and plopped his face in his hands. Your texts seemed dryer than usual, you didn't respond back to his good night text telling him he should go to bed as you usually would, and you wanted to see him this soon?! Idia's leg began to bounce as he bit his lip in frustration. He should really clean up his room now. Yeah he would have less time to grind in the newest MMORPG he started playing but it's the price he had to pay for you not to call him a disgusting NEET.

Idia got up from his chair to stretch. His lips positioned themselves into his usual frown as he checked his phone to see if you replied.

That was the last message you sent to him.

"Of course they're upset at me still" Idia thought to himself, "I mean, I did avoid them for the past couple of days." Since he didn't go to school in person, he spent 90% of his time in his room. Even then, he wouldn't respond to your texts.

Idia let out a long, pitiful sigh. He leaned against his desk chair, forehead digging deeper and deeper into the headrest. He wanted to kiss you again. Hell, he would give up almost anything to kiss you properly. But he knew he wouldn't be able to. I mean, yeah you took him out on a date, sure. But why would you, the nicest, sweetest, most precious, and most attractive person be ok with him kissing you, let alone on the lips.

He slowly picked himself up from his chair. I mean, his room isn't going to pick itself up!

"I just really hope they're not mad at me" Idia muttered to himself, "I really do."

Noon came and you found yourself pacing at Idia's door. Unknown to you, Idia was exhausted from cleaning his room all night and loathing all morning. And unknown to Idia, you were fiddling with the hem of your shirt, thinking that Idia wanted to end your relationship seemingly as soon as it started.

You hesitantly knocked on the door. You heard a soft yelp from the other side followed by a couple small crashes.

"H-hold on a second!" You heard Idia yell from the other side. "And don't startle me like that!" A moment later, the door unlocked and Idia peeked through the crack as he normally did.

"Did you really have to knock that loud?" His voice was soft but still had the air of annoyance you were used to. You nodded you head with a stupid smirk on your face, to which the boy rolled his eyes and opened the door for you.

His room was a lot cleaner than it usually was: his bed was neatly made, any wrappers and boxes were either thrown out or neatly put away, and the cords that were usually littered across the floor were tucked away under his PC. You have Idia a dramatic shocked face while looking at his room and back at him.

"Are you sure this is your room?!" you teased, "It's so clean! And I can barely smell the usual burnt hot pocket stench in here!" Idia lightly bonked you on the head for that remark, causing you to dramatically wince in pain.

"I do clean up here every once in a while, you know? You thought I just never cleaned?" Again, you nodded aggressively to his question. Idia sighed at you and plopped down on his bed. You walked up to his bed to do the same before you stopped yourself. The boy pouted as he noticed you standing in front of his bed still and ever-so-gently patted the spot next to him.

"Y-you don't have to ask permission to sit on my bed. I don't… mind." You did as he said and sat down next to him.

The next couple of minutes were met with silence. Occasionally, one of you two would open your mouths to speak only to be met with silence. Before the last couple of weeks, you and Idia would be a lot more relaxed around each other. Time spent in his room would mainly consist of Idia playing games or working at his desk while you would annoy him while sitting on his desk. What you would give to go back to bombard Idia with requests to pay attention to you just to show him a stupid meme or play the vibe boom sound affect to annoy him. It was like you were two different people now.

"So," you finally spoke up, "what'd you wanna talk about in person?" That question was so simple but hit Idia like a truck. He'd been rehearsing how to talk to you about this but fell short at the task at hand. His mind went blank as he stuttered, fiddling with his hands as he grew more uneasy knowing you were looking at him so intently. He took in a sigh.

"I'm really sorry." Idia trembled as he spoke. He brought his knees up to his face, hiding it and any potential tears that might come out.

"For what?" you asked. You hoped it was for him not responding to your messages for the past week but that didn't seem to be the case since he wouldn't necessarily need to apologize to you in person for that.

"For the date. I was really lousy and anxious and a burden, y'know? And I even had the audacity to…" he paused for a second, burying himself deeper into his knees, "kissing you, in the photo booth." Idia wiped any loose tears on his pants and looked at you to see your response. Surprisingly to him, you had the most deadpan face he's ever seen from you.

"Are you deadass?"

"Y-yeah? Did I say something wrong? Was that not a proper apology for you? You want me to grovel at my knees, begging you for my forgiveness and give you all of my possession?" Idia yelped again as he saw how your face looked somehow even more annoyed. He swore he was about to throw up right then and there. You stood up from the bed to stand right in front of him.

"H-hey, what're you-"

Both of your hands held Idia's cheeks as he winced in pain.

"You have to be one of the smartest yet stupidest people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting!" You began to smush his face together as he spoke. "I've known you for about a good year now. I've been friends with you for about a good year now. And I've liked you, ROMANTICALLY, for a long while now!"

"R-really?!" Idia looked at you with a dumbstruck expression. You squished his face closer together in response, kneeling down to his eye level.

"Yes, really. And I went on a date with you. I had so much fun that day. Hell, I even kissed you before too and you seemed to enjoy that quite a bit!" Idia grew flustered in your hold. You wondered whether or not he was a robot too, given how much he was seemingly malfunctioning.

"Well- that's because- you know, I-" The more Idia failed to speak the warmer and pinker he became; which was good news for you because you found that shit adorable. You were only teasing him but finding out he really did enjoy your little forehead peck filled your heart by tenfold. But now wasn't the time for gushing over how cute the humanized fireball was. You gently removed your hands from Idia's face and held his hand in yours, placing them on his lap.

"Idia, I'm not upset at you for the date. If anything, I'm more upset that you ignored me for a week since you were probably sulking the whole time." Oof, you hit the nail right on the head.

Idia shrank into himself, feeling even worse about himself. He trembled, trying to hold back his tears. He wasn't considering the fact that you enjoyed spending time with him. He was so used to only Ortho wanting to spend time with him and caring about him. Having a whole human being who wasn't his brother enjoyed his presence so much that they missed the absence of it filled him with overwhelming emotions. Then, you pulled him in for a loose yet gentle embrace, and he cracked.

He brought you in closer, shoving his face in the crook of your shoulder to hide the sniffles and whimpers. You gently rubbed small circles against his back and he trembled more from how hard he was holding back sobbing aggressively into your shoulder.

Idia began to calm down in your touch, but soon got up to wipe his tear-stained face.

"So," you began to speak, causing the boy to jump, "should I leave now?" You didn't want to leave so soon, all you wanted was to hang out with your favorite gamer boy. However, from what he had displayed earlier, you thought it would be best for him to cool off on his own.

"Wait, no!" Idia realized how loud and desperate he sounded. He began to mentally curse himself for that. "I- I mean, if you'd like to leave you can. But I'm also fine with you staying too."

"Alright, then I guess I'm staying for the night then." You thought it would be best to go back to Ramshackle dorm and pick up some stuff if you were going to do so.

"W-wait- what- h-huh?!" Idia rushed towards you in confusion. He had a bunch of questions to ask at once such as "Why are you leaving?", "Why are you staying overnight?", "Do you wanna sleep in my bed? With me in it?" "Am I dreaming???"

"Well, I thought now's a better time than ever to make up for the time you ignored me for the past week. Plus, I have to get stuff from my room like pajamas and snacks." You moved towards him, poking his chest to get his attention. "That is, unless you have some spare clothes you can lend me instead?"

He was gonna start crying again if you kept this up. He's not at a high enough level to unlock your SSR tier costume! He was just hoping that this limited-time event was gonna get a rerun.

"Well then, I'm going back to my dorm now. See you in a bit!"

"See you…" Idia shut his door as you ran back to Ignihyde's dorm mirror. He cursed himself for ever thinking of ignoring you for so long if this is what the consequences would've been.

You came back with a backpack's worth of stuff, in addition to a small bag of snacks and bottled water.

"What's the bag for?" Idia inquired.

"Well, since we're probably gonna be staying in your room for the rest of the day, I thought I might as well get us some food to eat." Idia's eyes widened, realizing the last thing he ate was a half-leftover bag of gummy worms last night before he started cleaning. How he's still alive amazes the both of you.

You set down your backpack at the edge of Idia's bed and the bag of snacks on his desk. You tried to pick snacks that weren't just sweets given Idia's shit diet that seemed to consist mainly of candy and energy drinks. You make a mental note to order something with vegetables for dinner. One snack in particular catches your eye though.

"Hey, Idia" you call out to him. He hums in response, also checking out the snacks in your bag. "Wanna watch a couple movies?" You grab a bag of popcorn chips and shake it at him.

"Sure" he replies, trying hard not to focus too hard on how hungry the popcorn chips make him, "I can boot up a couple on my laptop." Idia went to grab his laptop while you went to make a pillow nest on the floor.

"Do you really have to put all of my stuff on the floor?" Idia complained as you began to add one of his bean bag chairs in the nest.

"Would you rather sit and cuddle on the bed?" Idia flushed at the mix of tease and sincerity in your voice as he shook his head. You chuckled as you continued to work on your nest, making it big enough for the two of you to fit without making it too small so as not to make things too uncomfortable. The two of you plopped in your creation, pulling a blanket over your laps.

"What do you wanna watch?" Idia asked.

"I wanna watch something stupid."

"Huh, why's that?"

"The shittier the movie, the funnier it is to laugh at how much money the producers wasted."

"Fair enough." Idia chuckled as he went looking for a bad movie to watch.

As he was looking, you decided to sneak glances at the boy in question. His hair was put in a high ponytail, likely from when he was cleaning his room last night. His lips were slightly agape and occasionally wetted by his tongue. He was wearing his long-sleeved black and blue undershirt, black sweatpants, and uncharacteristic purple cat print socks. You bit your lip unconsciously; realizing how creepy that would have seemed, you pried your eyes away from him. You felt a slight tap on your shoulder, causing you to jump.

"Is this one ok?" He pointed to the screen, showing the description for a movie called "The Velocipastor". You failed to hold in your laughter reading it, leading Idia to laugh as well and start the movie. Some time passed as the two of you watched the movie while making snarky commentary on it.

"Why did the pimp even kill the main character's parents anyways?" You ask, reaching for another popcorn chip.

"I dunno. Maybe it's because most media protagonists need to have at least one dead parent to add to their tragic backstory. Imagine this movie as a shounen anime lmao." The two of you started laughing hysterically at the thought. You had to rewind just so you wouldn't miss anything.

As you went to grab more of your chips, you realized the bag was empty. Your hand went to grab another snack from your snack bag as your hand brushed Idia's. He was quick to pull his hand away, but placed his hand on the bag after you got your new snack. His golden eyes glanced at your hands every once in a while, you couldn't help but smile at how obvious he was being.

You slowly placed your hand on top of Idia's. His hand was large and slightly cool. It was rough likely due to how much he deals with machinery. His fingernails were visibly chewed on while his knuckles were boney and prominent. You began to rub over his hand with your thumb, causing the boy to let out a soft sigh. He quickly cleared his throat and rewound the movie once again. You looked over at the clearly flustered boy and chuckled at how cute he was being. The noticable pink tips of his fiery hair would be the death of him.

Over the course of the night, the two of you watched four shitty movies, had dinner, and had a bunch of fun. After dinner though, you grew sleepy, having only so much energy left. You would slowly start falling asleep only to jolt yourself awake every couple of minutes. That was until Idia stopped the movie you were currently watching and closed his laptop.

"Why'd you stop the movie?" You tried to wipe as much sleep from your eyes as you could.

"Because you need to go to bed" Idia replied, getting up to put everything away, "A normie like you can't stay up for very long, y'know?" You pouted at his teasing, knowing he wasn't exactly lying. It was getting pretty late and your body was getting heavy from drowsiness. You huffed as you made a makeshift bed on the floor and lied down.

"Good night." You yawned, "Don't let the bed bugs bite."

"Night" Idia muttered, trying to grab a pillow for his bed. As he went to pull the pillow away, your hand grabbed gently at his sleeve, tugging it with just as much strength. His heart tightened from your display. He knew he'd regret it later but he'd have to be a new brand of evil to resist your sleepy charm.

Idia lied down next to you. As he did, he studied your face as he briefly noticed you did to him earlier. Every part of you was perfect to him: your parted lips, you gently fluttering eyelashes, your soft snores. He was so glad to have such a nice CG to go to sleep looking at. He knew he'd have the sweetest dreams from this.

You stirred a bit, causing Idia to turn around away from you, just in case his face creeped you out. Just as he was about to fall asleep, he felt a slight push against his back. Turning slowly as not to disturb you, he found you trying to tuck yourself into his back. He turned back again to face you and pressed his forehead against your temple.

"Sweet dreams."
