Professor!Wanda Headcanons
I typically don’t write professor/student, but you’ll have to forgive me, I’m experiencing a moment of weakness.
Professor Maximoff was, by no means a well liked professor. Her class was infamously difficult, and most of her students found her cold.
You, however, grasp the subject matter surprisingly well. That never stopped you from coming by her office to “further your studies.”
She liked it when you came by, she told you. “It feels like I’m in here all the time. And no one comes to my office hours anyway. It gets a little dull in here with just me.”
Her office was simply decorated with only a single chair in the corner for students to sit, but as it started to become a regular hang out for you, a nice loveseat mysteriously appeared.
It got to the point where you were talking to her almost every day. You came in in between all your classes, lounging on her loveseat and getting some work done.
Whenever you complained of being hungry, or simply wanting a nice treat for yourself, she handed you her phone, open with DoorDash and her credit card information already loaded in.
She’s started to get very possessive of you. She sees how the other students and professors look at you. She just wants to keep you safe, she tells herself.
But whenever you have a one on one with another professor, she can’t help the way her body tenses and her blood pressure spikes. She’s always sure to stop by to inform you that after your meeting is over, she’s bought you your favorite lunch in her office. Better not wait too long. It’ll get cold.
She starts making comments when your clothes when your shirt collars hit too low and your jeans had too many rips. “I should dress code you, you know. You’re lucky I like you.” Over time, you amass a decent collection of very expensive blazers from the days you come in in something she deems too revealing.
In her office, however, you’re allowed to wear as little as you wish. Which is convenient because it’s starting to get very hot in there for some reason. She can stand the heat if it means getting to watch you do your work in an undershirt.
When she asks what you’re doing for the Thanksgiving holiday and you shrug and tell her nothing, she’s all too quick to jump on the opportunity. “You can come over to my place. It’ll just be me. We can make a turkey. Come on it’ll be fun.”
Thanksgiving break bleeds into Christmas break as well. And her guest room bleeds into her bedroom. Her bed is just so much more comfortable. And it’s a California king. The two of you are practically sleeping in different time zones.
Late one night, you hear her whisper “Are you awake?”
“Yeah,” you whisper back.
“Will you still come to my office? Next semester? Even though you won’t be in my class anymore?” She asks, almost anxiously.
“Of course,” you respond. “I really enjoy being around you. Even outside of you… being my professor and everything.”
She smiles, but you couldn’t see it so well in the dark. “Good,” she said. “That’s good. I like being around you as well.”
She inches towards you nervously, but you reassure her when you start to move towards her as well. She wraps her arms around you while you curl into her chest. And you fall asleep in her arms, for the first time.

hi! i hope you’re doing well! could i please request a little something about hotch coming home from a case to non bau!reader and jack watching star wars, just bonding and being cute. he wants to hug you both so bad cause he missed you and loves you but he doesn’t want to interrupt your moment
thank you for requesting! fem, 1k
You drop your head back into the cushions to avoid getting whacked in the chin with Jack’s forehead. “Woah,” you say, laughing as a wave of buttery yellow popcorn kernels drop onto the floor. “Good thing we have hardwood.”
“Why?”
You grab a handful of popcorn to eat from the bowl. “‘Cos all I’ve done today is make a huge mess.”
Hotch smiles from the doorway. It’s dark in the house, and the music blaring from the television has occluded his arrival. You’ve no idea he’s watching you now, and you don’t act much differently than if his presence was announced. In fact, he’d say that sometimes you’re so focused on not overstepping your place in Jack's life that you restrain yourself.
Butter and comfort alike has loosened the reins. You cuddle Jack to your side, the two of you laying across the long sofa with a faux rabbit fur throw wrapped around your two bodies, his head nestled under your chin. Your arm is around his tummy, belting him to you while blue light flashes over your faces. Lightsabers paint your eyes, their zinging and humming near painful in his bad ear.
“Who’s side are we on again?” you tease. It’s subtle, but Hotch knows you’re joking.
“Oh my gosh,” Jack says, “you forgot again? That one,” —he points at the screen— “that’s Obi Wan Kenobi.”
“And we’re team Obi Wan?”
“Yes, of course.”
“Of course,” you echo, clearly finding him funny. “But the other one is more handsome, don’t you think?”
“Am I handsome?”
“Jack, you are the most handsome.” You stroke his hair back and encourage him to meet your eyes. “You’re so, so handsome, babe, you’re beautiful, and so smart, and so awesome. You’d wipe the floor with Obi Wan Kenobi.”
Jack manages a reproach through his bashful smile, “I wouldn’t fight him, he’s the good guy. I would fight him.”
“Hmm.” You grab some popcorn from the bowl in front of Jack and eat a few pieces, then offer it to Jack. “I wouldn’t fight him. He’s too pretty.”
“He’s evil.”
“He doesn’t look evil.”
Jack laughs and turns to you completely. “You’re funny. People don’t look evil, they just are sometimes.”
“I know, baby, I’m just confused because all the good people in my life are beautiful.” You hug him behind his shoulders, looking at him with all the love in the world. “You’re a great example. You’re handsome, so how am I supposed to know you might be evil?”
“You have to be careful,” Jack says sincerely.
“Baby, I am. I promise I am.” Your eyes squint closed with your gentle smile, your noses almost touching. “I’m just kidding with you. I love having jokes with you.”
“I love having jokes with you.” Jack gives you a quick hug, arms tight behind your head and his face nuzzling your collar. “Thanks.”
“Thanks! Oh, you’re welcome, you don’t have to say thanks!”
“Well…” Jack pulls away, shrugging as you manoeuvre him bodily into a more comfortable position beside you. “I just think you should fight Anakin because he’s not kind, even if you think he’s handsome.” He says handsome with all the intonation of a boy discovering cooties for the first time.
You shrug, eat another handful of popcorn, and seemingly see the light. “Alright, I’d fight him. I suppose I already have your dad, right? I don’t need any more handsome men in my life. Two is enough.”
“Yeah,” Hotch says, flicking on the light, “I’d say so.”
Jack jumps, upending another wave of popcorn onto the floor. You grab the bowl, and Jack has enough wits about him to hop over the spilled kernels rather than crush them as he presents himself to Hotch for hugging.
“Hi!” Jack says.
He’s getting longer. It takes Hotch more effort than it ever used to to pick him up and pat his back. “Hi, buddy. Nice jammies, those are new ones. Is Y/N giving you gifts again?”
“She always gives me gifts.”
“I’m buying your love,” you say, shielding your eyes from the glare of the big light.
“I love it,” Jack says.
Hotch puts him back down on the ground with a kiss. “You should. Did you have a good day? Sorry I was working, I missed our Saturday.”
“Dad, it’s okay, you always work. We went to the store and we got candy, and now we’re watching Star Wars and you’re back, so it’s okay.” Jack beams and puts his hands behind his back. “Will you watch it too?”
“Sure, buddy, I just have to wash up. Did you have dinner?”
“Y/N made me lasagna from scratch, even the pasta,” Jack says.
He sounds deeply, sincerely loved. His pride at having you put time and care into the meal is evident, and Hotch knows that he and Jack are incredibly lucky to have you and to have Jack be able to experience it. Something as nondescript as dinner can make all the difference.
You sit on the couch still, a touch bashful. “It didn’t take long.”
“Was it delicious?” Hotch asks Jack.
Jack nods hard enough to hurt his neck, head bobbing up and down. “The best!”
“Well, she deserves a good thank you, huh? For taking such good care of you today?” He lowers his voice to a whisper. “What should we do for her, in return? Did you have dessert?”
“No,” Jack whispers back.
Alright, then that’s what they’ll do. You treat Jack like he’s a found treasure, and you love Hotch as easily as breathing. Hotch takes Jack’s smaller hand in his and gives you a look that promises the world’s most squeezing hug after they’ve procured dessert. “Can you pause the movie, honey?” he asks you. “We’ll be right back.”
You shake your head at him, but your smile isn’t easy to hide. “Your dinner’s under the grill,” you say.
He adores you more, somehow. “Thank you.”

new emmrich info
Tumblr media
youtube
Tumblr media
unifadewalker talks of their experiences with emmrich in the 6 hour preview event for dragon age: the veilguard.
in the first part of the video, they describe their impressions of emmrich, the second part of the video also has story spoilers in it for the weißhaupt mission.
it will also allow you to get a better impression of emmrich's voice actor and the way he brings emmrich to life.
Tumblr media
i made a quick overview of what unifadewalker describes their experience with emmrich to be like:
repeatedly describes him as "very kind", "very sweet" and "an absolute sweetheart"
very human and kind in his interactions with mila, a child during the weißhaupt fortress mission. mila is obviously scared with what's happening around her and emmrich appears to be a calming influence on her, engaging with her, asking her questions / her opinion.
there is a moment where davrin is hurt and emmrich is the first person to check on him / being concerned for his well-being
very concerned about everybody else and how they are feeling, if they are in trouble or if they are hurt
has a very steady tone and even in the height of battle, emmrich is very polite and very caring
his battle combo with davrin isn't actually a combo with davrin, but a battle combo with assan. he has a little interaction here with assan, where he guides the little griffon.
no content was given in the demo as far as emmrich's flirts or romance are concerned, but it has been reported to be "very intimate and very sensual" and they "100% believe it"
Tumblr media
here are screenshots of some of the interactions (not all because there are a lot) from the video:
discovering commander janos's body
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
leans very much into emmrich's backstory and him being able to attune with objects and spirits/undead, while being very kind to those living and those departed.
2. keeping mila engaged
Tumblr media Tumblr media
3. emmrich concerned for davrin
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
honestly, this is so refreshing to see. emmrich is immediately concerned for davrin the moment he hears that he is in pain.
4. emmrich concerned for lucanis
Tumblr media Tumblr media
same as above. it's just really nice to see the companions care about each other.
5. more interaction on the battle field between davrin, emmrich and rook
Tumblr media Tumblr media
6. emmrich and rook interaction during battle
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
and lastly, here are two more hd pictures from his character selection screen, offering a better look at the details of character model and armour:

Patreon commission for @i-got-a-bad-feeling-about-this
Request: I was thinking of doing a warlock x bar keep (maybe a minatour or orc, honestly dealers choice), but because the reader is a warlock her patron (a tentacle guy) is always watching, so she warns the bar keep thinking he will wanna stop, but he dosen’t. So while the bar keep and reader are having sex (in the closed bar), some tentacles from her patron come out and help. And maybe if possible have the patron speak to reader in her mind and just is super condensing and dirty. While the bar keep is super nice and praising. So reader warns orc that tentacle monster will be watching and interacting, but orc doesn't really care, or likes the idea!
A/N: The phrases in italics are said inside the reader and orc’s mind. Enjoy!
After closing
Orc x gn!tentacle monster x warlock fem!reader || tentacle sex, sharing is caring, exhibitionism (kinda?), semi-public sex, double penetration, dirty talk, (light) degradation
You were tending the bar, and all night long, an orc had been chatting you up when you weren’t busy. He was handsome and big, and looked good enough to eat. So when he asked: “Can I stay?”
You couldn’t do anything but to agree. “Yes, I’d like that.”
“Let me help you,” he offered as you cleaned the place, taking the broom and doing a quick but efficient job at cleaning most of the dirt on the floor. You weren’t too worried about it, looking at him move and flex was making you all kinds of hot and bothered.
When he finished his helping, you both meet at the table next to the back door. A part of you was hyper-aware of everything around you, of his body getting closer and the predatory shadow in his eyes. He breathed deeply in front of you, his nostrils flaring when he caught your desire in the air. He growled softly, and you whined. You loved your lovers growly.
He launched to kiss you when you softly stopped him with a hand on his chest. “I- I have to warn you, though.”
He kissed your cheek, your forehead, your jaw… “About what?” He asked between kisses, his hands traveling up and down your back, a bit closer to your ass with each stroke. You were slowly losing your mind, but you needed to inform him first, before they appeared.
“The patron…” You started, and your voice broke when he sucked on your neck, his tusks caressing your skin in the most tantalizing way. “He likes to watch and participate,” you finished when your brain came back.
That made him stop. “What?”
“I’m just giving you a heads up, they can appear at any moment and they… they like to participate,” you let out the last part in a whisper. You weren’t sure how he was going to take it, some people left after she told them. Some of them stayed and had the best night of their lives.
You knew he would be one of the second. “Participate, huh?” His smirk and the innuendo in his tone made you shiver in anticipation.
“They are very… enthusiastic.” That was an understatement, but you preferred him to discover that in due time.
His voice lowered a couple octaves as he said: “Are they gonna help me drive you senseless?” And growled a little, making your knees give up under you. He grabbed your ass and sat you on the table, the perfect height for his dick to rub against your clothed pussy. You groaned out loud and he chuckled.
“I don’t know, maybe.” But you knew they would, they had done it every time you dared to have sex at the bar. And if you were completely true to yourself, you’d accept that it was the main reason why you kept inviting some of the patrons to have sex after hours, so you could feel their tentacles over your body again.
“I’m in, I don’t mind sharing, especially if it’s a morsel such as yourself, so delectable.” As he talked he reached to touch your body, his hands finding the hem of your shirt, slipping underneath and touching your soft skin. Your skin was electrified, sending tiny sparks his way, making him shiver in response. “I fucking love sex with warlocks,” he said as he groped your boob, approaching your body and kissing your neck. You send another wave of electricity down his body, making him growl again as you giggled.
“I’m not the first, then?” You joked, not bothered at all by whatever his response might be as you pulled at his shirt and your mouths met. It was exhilarating, to have such a big monster over you, next to you. His green hands traveling over your body like you were a treasure. It was wonderful.
Things got heated pretty quick after that, both of you naked and grinding against each other between frantic kisses when you felt them. It was a tentacle across your ankle, but it rapidly ascended and joined your grinding, wrapping themselves around your orc’s dick and adding texture to it.
Such good sluts for me, the voice of your patron sounded inside your brain, and by the gasp your lover emitted, inside his, too. You two look great all needy grinding against each other, I love to watch that.
You both groaned as the tentacle squeezed his dick and rubbed the suckers against your dripping pussy. Another tentacle joined over the orc’s shoulder, closing around your neck as you gasped for air and parted the kiss. You threw your head back when a third and fourth tentacle groped your tits.
Look at these tits, so perfect to grope, I bet you’d love to be groped in the middle of a service. Yeah, you would… Maybe next time I would just fuck you when everyone is here. You’d like that? Their voice inside your brain was rough and condescending, sending shivers down your body as they kept talking. Of course you’d like that, you are a slut. And our orc friend here… He’s a slut, too. Your orc companion groaned loudly. Look at him all dark green, flustered because a tentacle monster is playing with him.
You looked at him just in time to see some tentacles caressing his body as you watched mesmerized. It was such a turn on to be at the mercy of a powerful tentacle monster… As you got fucked by anther monster, your body was vibrating with pent up energy as hands and tentacles touched you everywhere.
“Fuck me, fuck me, fuck me…” You chanted as your orc companion groaned, his head thrown back as he was caressed by tentacles.
“Yes. Yes,” he was having problems of his own trying to align his dick with your pussy, the tentacles holding his hands away and sucking on his nipples. He cried out so loud you were worried someone could hear him from the outside, but a part of you found that even hotter. You tried to reach for his cock to do it yourself, but the tentacles stopped you, too.
You two are mine to play, you can’t decide when you do anything.
You were completely at their mercy, both of you were. You felt a tentacle caressing your asshole, probing and pushing lightly, making you moan loudly. Your orc lover wasn’t far behind, probably some tentacles doing the same to him. It was exhilarating to know he was also being fucked, that you two were nothing but toys. And judging by his moans, he thought so, too.
“Fuck, fuck, fuck… I’ve never- Nobody ever…” He tried, but his voice kept breaking with loud groans. By the time the tentacle breached your asshole, you had half of a brain-cell left. Your body melting against the table as the orc in front of you melted on top of you. His mouth was open in a silent cry as a tentacle breached him. “This is… this is… Oh, Goddess.”
Oh, they sound so good when they are virgins. Your patron chuckled inside your brain. Guess someone is going to discover the wonders of tentacle AND anal sex today.
You wanted to laugh, to agree with him, but you didn’t have time before you felt something against your pussy. The orc’s cock, but it wasn’t alone. The tentacle that was jerking him didn’t let go, it curled around him and helped him inside of you, adding girth and texture to his already huge dick. It broke into you with a pop, your opening accepting them like an offering from the gods.
Such a good slut taking everything I give you, everything we give to you. I love how slutty you get, how desperate when you are stuffed.
You felt everything. The suckers, the ridges, the huge tip of the orc’s cock against your G-spot right before the tentacle moved and latched a sucker there. You screamed so loud you felt your companions shiver inside of you. It was too much, too fast, too far, too tight. You felt fuller than ever, your asshole being fucked by a tentacle, and your pussy overflowing with the combination of your lovers, it was way better than anything you thought possible. It was way better than anything you’ve ever felt before.
“I’m going- I’m gonna… Oh fuck!” His broken cry was accompanied by warm come inside of you, making you scream as you precipitated over the edge with him. It was a blinding orgasm, so powerful and intense that you felt your brain melting inside your brain and your body electrifying itself. “You are glowing, fuck, fuck, you are glowing.” His voice was harsh after screaming, and you realized he was right. Your magic surfacing in the weirdest way when you came, making you glow like a street lamp in the dim interior of the bar.
You came so hard you had to glow? Pathetic. I bet I can make you cry to look even more pathetic than you already are. Such a slut for some monster dick and tentacles… You wanted to answer them, to say something, but their words made you moan, humiliation making you hot all over. Your orc friend wasn’t better, groaning as they kept talking. And you? An orc whore who’ve never been fucked and now is pushing his ass back into my tentacles… ridiculous. But I bet I can make you cry, too. I love when they cry.
And then the tentacles started moving again. Moving his body and his dick, moving themselves inside your assholes. They were playing with you two like you were toys for their entertainment, and you two were powerless to stop them. It was intoxicating.
You came. And he came.
And it happened again. And again. And again.
By the time the tentacle monster decided they didn’t want to play with you two anymore, you were like rag dolls over the table, completely spent and tired, dried of all pleasure in your body. You didn’t even know how much it lasted, but you could hear some rooster far away. It was probably close to dawn… They fucked you two all night long, they squeezed every single drop of pleasure inside of you and left you there when they got bored…
Bar opens again in a couple hours, if I were you I would get dressed. But if you don’t… I guess you’d be the spectacle of the night.
You glowed again, your body responding to their threat as your orc companion got up on shaky legs and got dressed. He kissed your forehead before leaving, telling you he’d be back. You wanted to giggle at his soft whisper, your patron had that effect.
And you couldn’t wait to do it all over again.
You can find more info on individual commissions (here) and Patreon commissions (here). Also you can find all other commissioned work in this masterlist.

Domestic!Simon “Ghost” Riley Headcanons
feeding the soft-hearted fans that want to see Simon happy
Domestic!Simon Riley wakes up when the sun starts peaking across the horizon - but when you’re comfortably tucked against his chest? well, he’s not on base and doesn’t have to worry about getting up right now
he can’t fall back asleep, once he’s awake he’s not being lulled back to bed, but that’s okay. he’ll just hold you close and let his eyes flutter shut - he’ll wait for you to stir and press sloppy kisses to your cheeks. you always whine, “Simon— Simon, c’mon—“, soft laughter spilling past your lips when his fingers slip under your shirt and graze your sides
Domestic!Simon Riley had a hard time slowing down. before? he’d be slipping out of bed, a soft kiss to your hairline as he pulled the covers back over you. he was used to morning runs, used to coming home to you still asleep. he’d try turning the shower on as quietly as possible - a quick rinse before he’s stepping out and toweling off his hair
Tumblr media
now? he can’t imagine getting up before the birds are chirping - he can’t imagine leaving you alone in bed. so when he feels you shift a little closer, a little hum in the back of your throat as you seek his warmth, he sighs. legs tangled together, he’s resting his hand on your back, the other tucked underneath his pillow
his heart always beats a little quicker when you sleepily mumble his name, voice a little raspy. “Mornin’, love.”, he murmurs, his own voice a little deeper, a little more gravely. he’s pulling you closer to him, wedged against his chest as he kisses your forehead
he’s content to stay in bed as long as you’re with him, his big frame keeping you warm. and he’s a charming sight to look at in the morning - a couple pillow lines across his cheek, dirty blond hair messy and poking every which way. “Get a good look, lovie?”, he asks, slipping his hand from your back to run it through his hair
but, eventually he has to get up - joints achy as he crawls out of bed. t-shirt wrinkly and sweatpants hanging low, he’s moving to the kitchen to make a little breakfast. gets the kettle going on the stove, a mug of black tea to go with whatever he eats
if you’re going out for the day he’ll slip you a twenty, peck your lips, and wish you well. you’re both sharing your location, and he trusts that you’ll call if you need him. he’ll spend a slow Saturday at home, your constant pestering for him to relax ingrained in his brain
it’s a nice contrast from being on base, from being on a deployment - just kicking his feet up and watching a game. he breaks out his reading glasses when the paper hits the front door, skimming over the news. framing his face nicely, dark brown eyes cast down behind the lenses
he does eventually go for his morning run, although it’s cutting it close to noon. just a couple laps around the neighborhood before he’s back at home, rolling his shoulders as he makes his way to the bathroom. hot water has his muscles relaxing, the scent of your shampoo aromatic and light. he’s nearly groaning as he works it through his hair, scratching gently at his scalp the way you would - he misses you even though you’ll be back in a few hours
Domestic!Simon Riley that looks through his photo gallery, gaze smitten as he thumbs through photos of you - mostly candid and out of frame, little cozy moments where he thought you looked cute. they range from you on the couch, half asleep with the remote in your hand to date nights, sipping on your drink as you read over a menu. he likes the ones where you caught him before he snapped the a photo, eyes a little wide as you look at him, lips quirked up

(a/n: in reply to this comment. content warning: drunk sex, please skip if it's not your cup of tea!!!!)
normally, you wouldn't have invited nerd!jaehyun to parties.
first of all, you would not publicly associate with him – not that he would either. y'all belong in different social strata and it's hard for him to mix with your friends, vice versa. not classist/elitist, just practical reasons.
secondly, it's not like you guys are close enough for you to invite him. he's just your calculus tutor (goddamned calculus) and you're just one of his many tutees (that just happened to have dry humped once).
but you wanted to see him drunk. if he's repressed from all the studying that he has been doing, surely with the help of some alcohol, he'll be... entertaining to say the least.
and you'd be right, kinda.
it feels like deja vu when you find jaehyun rutting his hips needily against your damp panties, again. except this time, it seems that alcohol makes him more sensitive to every touch and sensation.
his cheeks are flushed and his half-hooded eyes are filled with tears. he whines loudly and for once you're grateful for the shitty house party music that drowns out his voice.
"fuuuuck," jaehyun cries out as he buries his face into your neck, "babe i-i waant you. now. please. pleasepleaseplease."
at first, you take his words as a drunken man's ramble but when you don't do anything, he looks up at you with the most desperate pout, "i neeeeed you to fuck me. fuck me sooo good, yeah?"
you don't need to be told a third time.
you're quick to pull out his cock before sliding it into your wet cunt. this has him throwing his head back as fresh tears spring into his eyes. his (surprisingly) large hands are quick to hold your hips down, preventing you from moving.
"waittttt, fuck! don'tmove, i'm g'na cum," his voice is strained and you could almost hear the effort he's putting to not bust from one single stroke.
it takes him a moment to get used to feeling of your tight pussy clenching down on his cock but soon enough, he allows you to move against him.
you start slow, loving how his body trembles with each thrust. but he just looks so fucking delicious that it makes you want to bully him more.
as you move your hips, his moans and words devolve into loud whines as he begs for more and more. he's much louder than when he's sober and, by this point, you're such that the music isn't doing much to mask his voice.
"i need you babygirl, i need you," he chants like a mantra over and over again. "always wanted this. fuck, you feel- oh god! cummingcumming- i'm g'na–"
this spurs your hips to move quicker and faster.
words turn into rambles and panting as his orgasm rips through him fast. but he's sober enough to push you off of his cock and lets his cum spill all over his shirt and torso.
"that was nice," jaehyun says when he finally catches his breath – his voice sounding a little too sober for a drunk man.

˚⊱🪄⊰˚ : 𝐈 𝐥𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐰𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐬, still rubbing the sleep from my eyes. As I entered the kitchen, the sight of Chris filming his part for the upcoming video caught my attention. I couldn't help but notice that he was indulging in his favorite tiny pizzas, the ones he always seemed to enjoy so much.
“Hey,” I said as I approached Chris, my voice still a bit groggy, “Mind if I join you?”
Chris looked up with a grin, his mouth full of pizza. He nodded, signalling me to grab a seat beside him. I took a moment to observe him as I settled down next to him. His focus was still on filming, but there was a sense of relaxation on his face as he enjoyed his miniature pizzas.
“I see you're enjoying your mini pizzas,” I teased, picking up a tiny pizza myself.
“Yup!” he replied, his voice slightly muffled between bites. “Can't pass up on these when they're in front of me.”
We sat in comfortable silence for a moment, both of us munching on the tiny pizzas. I glanced over at his phone. Curious, I asked, “How's the filming going?”
“Pretty good,” Chris answered, his expression turning a bit wistful. “I'm just really missing Matt and Nick right now, you know? It's not the same recording stuff without them.”
I nodded understandingly. “I get it,” I replied, “But hey, you know sooner or later, you guys will be back together. Just a few more days.”
With a smile, I reached up and gently ran my fingers through his messy hair. “You know I'm here with you through this, right? You're not alone,” I reassured him. “I may not be Matt or Nick, but hopefully, I can still keep you company a little bit.”
Chris's tense expression softened as he looked up at me. “I know,” he said quietly, “And I'm glad you're here with me.” With a small, grateful smile, he leaned back a bit, letting my hand continue its soothing motion through his hair.
I smiled warmly, my hand lightly massaging his head. “I'm glad I'm here with you, too. It's nice to spend some time together, just the two of us,” I said softly.
Chris closed his eyes, leaning into my touch and sighing contentedly. “Yeah,” he murmured, “It is nice.”
We sat in companionable silence for a moment, the only sounds the occasional crunch of a pizza and the soft shuffling of my fingers through his hair.
Chris opened his eyes and looked at me, a soft, grateful smile on his face. “Thank you, baby,” he said, his voice gentle and sincere. “Really. I appreciate you being here for me.”
My hand paused in his hair as I met his gaze warmly. “Of course,” I replied, my voice filled with tenderness. “I wouldn't want to be anywhere else in the world right now except here with you.”
As my hand trailed down his face, I let it settle back into my lap, my gaze meeting his once more. With surprising gentleness, Chris's own hand found its way to my face, his fingers lightly tracing my features.
He pulled me in for a kiss, his lips meeting mine in a tender moment filled with silent affection.
The kiss was gentle, his mouth moving against mine a slow, tender dance. I melted into the moment, my own fingers intertwining with his and holding his hand against my face.
Pulling away slightly, Chris rested his forehead against mine, his eyes still locked on mine.
We broke apart, my breath slightly ragged, and I managed a small laugh. “You taste like a mini pizza,” I teased, my voice a little breathless.
Chris chuckled, a coy grin appearing on his face. “Is that a bad thing?” he asked, his hand still tracing lazy circles on my cheek.
“Not at all,” I answered, leaning in for a quick peck on his lips. Pulling away, I stood up, making my way over to the counter and grabbing a napkin.
I couldn't help bursting into quiet giggles as I heard Chris speak. Turning around, I found him talking into his camera with a lighthearted grin on his face.
“Feeling bad, mini pizza; feeling happy, mini pizza... can't sleep, mini pizza; slept fine, mini pizza... going over to a friend's, mini pizza; friends come over here, mini pizza...” he repeated, his voice affectionate. “And most importantly,” he continued, “When I'm hungry, mini pizza.”
I chuckle as I heard Chris’s little mini pizza monologue to the camera. I walked towards him, the napkin in hand and a smile on my face.
“You really do love your mini pizzas, huh?” I teased, handing him the napkin.
Chris chuckled sheepishly, taking the napkin from me. “What can I say?” he replied with a shrug. “They're just so damn good.”
He used the napkin to wipe away some of the pizza crumbs from his face and hands. “I eat, breathe, and live this shit”
Chris took another bite, talking through a mouth full of pizza. “I know if Matt was here, he'd be like,” he began in an exaggerated mimicking of Matt's voice, “‘You chew so loud,’”
He then switched to a mock version of Nick's voice. “And then Nick would be like, ‘Let me have a bite!’” He threw his head back and let out a laugh, clearly amused by his own impressions.
I chuckled and shook my head, walking behind him and gently ruffling his hair. “Finish up your food,” I said, “And meet me upstairs in your room when you're done.”
“I will,” he replied, looking up at me with a small smile. Before I could step away, he grabbed my hip, pulling me closer. I stumbled a bit, letting out a laugh as he brought me down to his level for a quick peck on the lips.
I broke away reluctantly, shooting him a smirk before straightening up. “Don't take too long,” I teased, walking towards the stairway.
Chris chuckled lightly, watching as I ascended the stairs. “I won't,” he promised, his tone teasing.
He turned back to his food with a grin, eagerly resuming his mini pizza eating.

Character: Captain Hydra
Summary: a man marches into your life on a mission
As usual, I would appreciate any and all feedback. I’m happy to once more go on this adventure with all of you! Thank you in advance for your comments and for reblogging ❤️
Tumblr media
You still don’t know what to call the man. Captain? Rogers? He’s just the man to you. The stranger who doesn’t speak.
He doesn’t linger. You can’t help but wonder if it’s some game. If he’s playing with you. His stoicism is just another weapon against you. As he leaves, you sit, stunned and lost. Alone.
The front door of the cabin shuts you in but you don’t know that you would have the courage to let yourself out. The man found you once; unbidden and unexpected, you’re certain he could do it again and again and again. So, you wait until you’re certain the house is empty before you get up.
You fix the nightgown and hug yourself as you peek through the open bedroom door. You emerge warily and glance through to the bathroom. The front room once jars you further. You forgot how cozy, how normal it seams.
You wander around the frayed rug and inspect every piece of furniture. A draft runs through the room, blowing in around the door. There’s an iron basket of split logs next to the fireplace. There’s something yellow on top.
You go over and open the packet; inside, a lighter and a little booklet on how to start a fire. Hm. There’s a bag of kindling next to the wood as well. Maybe later.
You set the packet back down and turn to face the other doorway. The one you’ve not yet ventured through. The kitchen is small but tidy. On the table, there’s a small crate. Within, sorted neatly, are similar silver packets to the one he handed you in the bedroom. They are labeled alongside a large bag of quick oats.
The oats simply read, ‘Breakfast’. The writing is jagged but legible. Each packet is labeled decisively; Day 1 – Dinner, Day 2 – Lunch... On and on. You turn and face the fridge. The only thing on it is another note. ‘Drink Water. Not Tap.’ Got it. After the complete absence of communication, it’s nice to have at least a little directive.
You retreat to the bedroom and check the empty packet. Yep, Day 1 – Lunch. Amid the chaos of your abduction and the desolation of this place, the pieces of order stick out sorely. It all feels so fractured.
You go to the armoir and try to open it. The doors don’t budge. You back up and cross your arms again. You’re really starting to get cold. You should get the fire going before your fingers go completely numb.
You strip the flannel blanket from the bed and wrap it around your shoulders. You go back into the living room and hep the extra layer at your waist as you sit on your knees and try to figure out the fireplace. After several splinters and some sparks from the lighter, you get a flame struck.
You stay close and hold up your hands as it begins to lick. You settle down on your butt and hug yourself under the blanket. You watch the flames swirl and your vision blurs with little orbs of colour.
The questions don’t matter. The answers won’t make a difference. Why are you here? Where is here? No, it’s useless. Just like from the first moment you saw him. You know now, it wasn’t the first time he saw you.
You hang your head and let it pour out of you. The fear throttles you so you’re choking on your sobs. Your body wracks and your skull throbs. You don’t want to live like this but you’re too afraid to die.
You wade up from the dregs of your grief and the room comes clear again. You’re on your side before the glowing embers. You sit up and put another piece of wood on the pile then get up. You stagger around to the bedroom, your feet moving without your mind’s intent.
You go to the corner. You stare at the shelf. The pictures, the stolen parts of your existence, the shank of hair... is gone? You saw him put it there. Oh well. Good riddance.
You shudder and squint over the images. There’s one from over a year ago. The last time you saw your family. You shake your head and back up. No. No. You didn’t know for that long. Well, how could you expect something like this?
You sniffle and leave the room. You can’t stay in there. Not with that shrine? Altar? You don’t even know what.
You take a stiff pillow from the couch and lower yourself in front of the fireplace again. You close your eyes but you don’t know if you’ll be able to sleep. There isn’t much else to do.
Time skews into a haze. It’s dark, then light, and dark again. Your stomach gurgles but by the time you get the food warm, you’re too sick to eat more than a few bites. As the days wilt by, a stench roils from your body.
The packets help you track the day, even as you miss some, you try to keep some order in your mind. On Day Four, you dare to try the faucet. The tub pours out steaming water. You adjust it before you sink in. It’s as close to peace as you’ve found.
As the water stagnates around your body, you can’t help but think. When will he come back? Will he be back? You don’t think he’s out there having fun and frolicking. You could tell by his attire, by the marks of death on that shield.
You let the water go cold then drain it. You pull the same nightgown on, even as it reeks. You just need something on. You reclaim the blanket and your perch before the fireplace. You wish you had something warm to drink. Coffee or tea. Nothing could ever make this place anything less than a prison, but you wouldn’t mind some comfort.

“You’ve got to be fucking kidding me!” You groaned, throwing your head back against the wall. Yelena sighed heavily, for the last 20 minutes or so, the two of you have been trying to escape a from each other. Yelena still trying to wrap her head around how on earth the target tricked you both and was able to keep you both hostage, not the classic tried to a chair with duct tape across your lips. No, this was the worst kind of being kept hostage.
“Stop tugging!” Yelena said, rolling her eyes.
“Oh, I’m sorry, does that hurt? Is being tugged by the fucking wrist hurt the tough Russian spy?” You snapped in frustration. “You know, if it wasn’t for Natasha needing Kate, she’d be the one hand cuffed to you and I wouldn’t be sitting here wishing THEY WOULD KILL ME ALREADY!” You added, yelling out to your kidnappers.
“They’re not going to kill us” Yelena said.
“I wish they would!”
“Alright, what the hell is your problem?” Yelena snapped, looking to you. “What do you mean? You’re the one with the problem” you argued.
Yelena cocked a brow, “you think I’m the one with the problem? You’ve never liked me; you can’t even stand to be in the same room with me” she replied watching you try to squeeze your hand out of the handcuff. “Nope, that’s all you, spy! I’ve never been nothing by nice to you, but I guess you’re too high and mighty to see that and now thanks to you, we’re trapped and I’m probably going to die handcuffed to you”
“Thanks to me?” Yelena frowned, “do you hear yourself right now? You’re the one the fell for the damn trap. I followed you to stop you, don’t you remember that? Probably not because you can’t do any wrong!” She added causing you to stop your actions and look at her with anger in your eyes.
“You want to do this now? Right now? Instead of trying to escape you want to play the damn blame game?!”
“If the shoe fits, why not” Yelena spat.
“Agh! You’re so unbearable! I can’t believe you think this is my fault! You’re the one who told me to go ahead, it’s like you knew this was going to happen” you argued.
“I was talking to Kate! I had to wait for you to shut your pipe hole for a second so she could finish her sentence, I said “go ahead, Kate” Yelena corrected you, your mind having a small flash back to that moment. You were so annoyed that you had been paired with the one person who hated you the most that you when you heard her say ‘go ahead’ you took it as her giving you instructions.
Silence fell, you rolled your eyes once more at the blonde before trying yet another pointless attempt to set yourself free. “Seriously, stop tugging!” Yelena tugged her left wrist, pulling your right wrist to her.
“Ouch!” You groaned at the pain, before tugging back. Yelena took a deep breath to keep herself from exploding over your childlike behavior, the two of you hated being cuffed together, if anything, this was the most that the two of you had ever spoken to one another. When you first met Yelena, she gave you a similar vibe that Natasha did when you first met her, so you just assumed it would be a little bit of work to break the widow and the two of you would get along after but no, not Yelena. You’ve been on two other missions with her in the past, both missions went quick and rather smoothly but again, such little conversation was ever exchanged between you both.
Outside of work, Yelena simply made it obvious to you that she wasn’t a fan of you. So naturally, you stopped trying to win the assassin over and found yourself giving her the same cold vibe she would give you. It made things harder given that you were both great friends of Kate’s and the poor archer hated seeing her two closest friends hating one another. But what you didn’t know was the little secret that Yelena had let slip to Kate one night after a few too many shots of Vodka.
As time passed, you and Yelena sat in silence. Both of you quietly tried to work out a plan to get out of the situation you were in but neither of you wanted to bring your ideas to the table first. “If we work together, we can get out of here” Yelena says with a light sigh, breaking the silence.
“What do you think I’ve tried to do this entire mission?” You replied, not trying to snap back at her but her comment slightly annoyed you. “You just hate working with me” you added.
Yelena looked over at you, “how about once we get out of here, we never have to work together again” she says in a calm tone.
“Perfect! Can’t wait” you gave her a fake smile before her eyes quickly turned to the banging sound of guns outside the door. The two of you instantly went into fight or flight, just waiting for whatever was going to happen come through that door.
You let out a sigh of relief when you saw Natasha standing in the doorway with a cocked brow, Kate standing slightly behind her. “Well, don’t you two look cozy” Nat commented, earning herself a death stare from her sister. “Have you got the keys?” You asked, ignoring the comment from the older widow.
“I’ll go find them” you heard Kate say before rushing off. Natasha stood still with a growing smirk as she looked at the two of you, “which one of you wants to tell me how this happened?” She asked before letting out a chuckle.
“Shut up!” Yelena spat.
----
Back at the compound, free from being cuffed to Yelena, you just sat down on the edge of your bed, letting out a heavy sigh as you rubbed the handcuff markings on your wrist. Your mind replaying everything that had happened on the mission, trying to work out if you were the one that put you and Yelena in that situation or if it was just a case of bad lucky. Did you the two of you let your hatred for one another get in the way of a mission or was it something much more than that? These thoughts circled your mind until you heard a knock at your bedroom door.
You opened it only to see Yelena standing there, “can I help you?” You asked kindly although Yelena was the last person you wanted to see right now.
“Can I come in?” She asked taking you by surprise. You nodded and opened the door wider for her to enter. She walked in and noticed the little things about your room layout, where your perfume sat on a shelf, how neatly your close were hanging in your opened closet, your favorite movie as a poster on one of the walls, all these little things she smiled softly to herself about.
“If you’re come to give me a lecture about the mission, I won’t want to hear it” you said as you wandered over to your dresser to apply some cream to your hands and wrists. Yelena turned around to face you, “I didn’t come here to lecture you. I came here to tell you that I don’t hate you” she replied. You frowned slightly as you looked back at her, “you don’t?” You questioned.
Yelena shook her head, “I’ve never hated you”
“T-then why you act like you do?”
Yelena took a deep breath and took a seat at the end of your bed, placing her hands in her lap before she looked up at you once more. “I told Kate what happened today, and she said it would be best if I just come clean to you” she started.
“Clean to me?” You questioned.
“I don’t hate you, in fact, it’s the opposite to hate”
Her reply only added to your confusion, “so you what? Dislike me? Or is it you can tolerate me?” You asked. It was your words that quickly told Yelena that this wasn’t going how she thought it would and quickly tried to fix it before this would escalate into yet another argument.
“Try, I have feelings for you” she replied, her eyes slightly dropping to your feet. Her confession took you back, not once did you ever think that Yelena’s behavior towards you was because she had possible feelings for you. “I know it’s probably not what you expected but putting Kate’s advice aside for a moment, after today and the way we talked to one another wasn’t okay. I didn’t know that’s how you felt until today. I didn’t think that I was giving you the impression that I hated you” she paused as you slowly rubbed the cream into your skin while listening to her continue.
“I’ve never looked at somebody and have my heart skip a beat, I’ve never heard somebody talk to me and wish they would never stop, I’ve never had somebody smile at me and that make me nervous. I guess I was so cold to you because I didn’t know how to be around you so I guess I thought that if I was distant with you that I wouldn’t feel these things, but I spoke to Kate and she told me that what I feel is okay” she went on.
You wandered over to her and sat beside her, “well, I can say I’m so glad that you came to me. I thought I was going mad” you looked to her, “you’re not the only one who has feelings in this” you added.
Yelena’s eyes lit up, “do you mean y-“
You nodded before she could finish her question, “I don’t like the saying ‘if they’re mean to you it’s because they like you’ but I guess it has some kind of truth” you added, making you both chuckle. Gently, you took Yelena’s left hand into yours, “we don’t have to act on these feelings if you don’t want too or not ready, I don’t ever want to push you” you assured her.
“Being handcuffed to you has been the highlight of my week, I would like to explore these feelings more, but it needs to be slowly” Yelena replies. You couldn’t help but smile softly at her, “we have all the time in the world, there is no need to rush anything”
You noticed Yelena blush a little at your words and you swore, if you could, you’d kiss her right then and there but you wanted this to work and right now, you were finally able to see a side of Yelena you wish you saw sooner.

ᴄʜᴀᴘᴛᴇʀ 7 - ᴡᴏʀᴛʜ ɪᴛ
Tumblr media
Summary: After meeting Law's kind-hearted uncle, Rosinante, you learn more about his complex family history. What was supposed to be a casual, cozy game night after quickly takes an unexpected and more intimate turn.
Tags: Rosinante as a fashion designer ( I love writing him), Law teasing the living shit out of you, n.sfw, oral, subtle confession.
a.n.: I had to add Rosinante, I love him so much can't put it into words. Also their relationship going further, the slow burn is even making me impatient. By the way the game is really cool, you should give it a try.

You strolled leisurely down the bustling street, wrapped up in your cozy jacket as the cool breeze nipped at your cheeks. With your headphones in, you hummed along to the music playing softly. You were in a good mood. Since the party, you and Law had been keeping in touch, messaging back and forth. It was nice, even though you quickly realized texting wasn’t exactly his thing.
His replies were always short, straight to the point, with almost no emojis or playful banter. But he responded. Which was all that mattered.
As you wandered past a few shops, your eyes scanned the window displays without any real intent to buy. You stopped in front of a store you hadn't noticed before. The name caught your eye—Corazon, written in sleek, silver lettering that shimmered in the afternoon light. The store oozed elegance, the kind of place that seemed almost too fancy for you.
You glanced at the items on display: high-end fashion pieces, bold yet sophisticated. A particular bag, held by a male mannequin, caught your attention. It was gorgeous—luxurious and far beyond what you’d ever spend. One look at the price tag made your jaw nearly drop. The cost of that tiny bag was probably more than your entire wardrobe put together. But, wow... it really was beautiful.
As you admired the bag, something out of the corner of your eye made you pause. You squinted, trying to see past the mannequin. Was that…? No way.
It was Law, standing inside the store, chatting casually with a tall, blonde man. You blinked in surprise. What on earth was he doing in a place like this? You knew Law wasn't exactly rolling in money. He still worked a delivery job and shared an apartment with his friends. This store didn't seem to match his laid-back, practical style either.
You stared a little longer, curiosity got the better of you. Unfortunately, the blonde man must have noticed your watching them. He pointed at you, a slight look of confusion on his face. That was all it took for Law to turn around, his eyes locking onto yours.
You froze on the spot, your heart doing a weird flip as if you’d been caught spying. For a moment, you weren’t sure what to do, yet you forced a shy smile, raising your hand in a small, awkward wave.
Law flashed you a quick smile back, and turned to the blonde man inside. Before you had a chance to react, he was already pushing open the door and stepping out to greet you.
“Hey, Y/N,” he said, standing in front of you with that familiar casual grin, hands tucked into his pockets as if this was just another ordinary day. But beneath that calm exterior, his heart skipped a beat. He wouldn't admit it out loud, but seeing you here was a pleasant surprise—one he hadn’t realized he’d been hoping for.
“Hey,” you replied, looking up at him with a warm smile of your own. “Nice to run into you like this.” There was something about the way you smiled that made his chest tighten just a little. He kept his face neutral, though—typical Law.
“Spending your hard-earned cash on designer stuff now, huh?” you teased, chuckling as you glanced back at the luxury store.
Law shook his head. “Just visiting my uncle.”
Your eyes widened a little in surprise. “Your uncle? He works here?” You looked back at the store, where the tall blonde man—Law’s uncle, apparently—was now beaming at the two of you from behind the glass. He waved enthusiastically, clearly delighted, his hand gestures wildly inviting you inside.
“He owns the store.” Law corrected you, which made your eyes go even bigger.
“I didn’t know your uncle was into, well… fashion,” you said, raising your eyebrows.
Law grinned; a bit sheepish. “Yeah, it’s not exactly something I bring up in conversation.” He glanced back at Rosinante, who was still waving energetically, looking like he might burst through the window any second if you didn’t respond.
You laughed, noticing his uncle's antics. “Uh, does he want us to come inside or something? Because he’s... definitely trying to get your attention.” Your tone was playful but with a hint of irritation, as Rosinante’s exaggerated hand movements grew more intense.
Law sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. “Yeah, let’s go before he breaks something with his windmill arms.”
Despite wanting to enjoy the moment alone with you, Law knew his uncle well enough—Rosinante wasn’t going to let this pass without an introduction. Part of him was amused, but another part felt a little nervous. Rosinante always took it upon himself to vet the people Law kept close, and his enthusiasm for the task could be... overwhelming.
Law held the door open for you, allowing you to step inside first. The store was even more luxurious up close, with its sleek black and baby pink color scheme that somehow worked together perfectly. It was the kind of high-fashion boutique that felt worlds away from your usual shopping spots. You followed Law further inside, weaving past mannequins draped in designer clothing, until you reached the back where Rosinante stood, practically glowing with excitement.
"Hi! Are you one of Law’s friends?" Rosinante greeted you with an infectious enthusiasm, extending a large hand for you to shake. His energy was so warm and welcoming that you couldn’t help but chuckle as you took it.
"Yeah, I’m Y/N," you said with a smile, matching his upbeat vibe.
“Oh, what a beautiful name for such a pretty face.” Rosinante exclaimed, his voice full of genuine warmth. “Nice to meet you, Y/N. I’m Rosinante, but you can call me Rosi. I’m Law’s proud uncle.”
You glanced over at Law, who sighed softly but wore a small, amused smile. Clearly, this wasn’t his first rodeo with Rosinante’s over-the-top introductions. But from what you could see, it didn’t seem to bother him too much. If anything, he seemed... comfortable.
"Law never mentioned you," you teased, grinning at him, half expecting a cheeky response. Law just rolled his eyes, the corner of his mouth twitching with a smirk. Family wasn’t something he brought up often—probably ever—but you figured it was a good chance to learn more. And Rosinante seemed like the type who’d be more than willing to share everything.
“Well, technically, we’re not blood related,” Rosinante said with a chuckle, causing you to glance between the two of them in surprise.
"You’re not?"
Law stepped in to explain, his voice calm. "Rosi’s a family friend. He took care of me when my parents were busy with work." And his sick sister. Yet he let that part out, no reason to mention that.
"Busy running the city hospital," Rosinante added, his voice suddenly tinged with a touch of nostalgia. His eyes softened as he looked at Law, clearly reminiscing. “God, you grew up so fast. I remember when you were just a little grumpy kid running around my place...” His voice cracked a little, as if he might get teary-eyed just thinking about it.
You blinked, momentarily taken aback. Wait, what did he just say? "Your parents are doctors too?" you asked, turning to Law, surprised by the new revelation.
Law nodded casually, as if it wasn’t a big deal. "Yeah."
You processed the information for a moment, realizing how little you actually knew about him. He’d always seemed so private, and you hadn’t wanted to push. But this? It felt like a significant piece of the puzzle.
"So," you teased lightly, raising an eyebrow at him, "are you planning on going back after you finished uni?" You laughed, but there was a hint of curiosity in your tone. You somehow hoped his answer would be no, you just got attached to him.
Law chuckled softly, shaking his head. "No, not exactly my plan." He didn’t elaborate, but his tone was firm, like the subject wasn’t up for debate. He noticed how you slightly relaxed, apparently content with his choice.
“Hey, Rosi, I’ve got some things to catch up on with Y/N. Mind if I come back another time?” Law’s voice cut through the conversation. He sounded casual, but there was something in the way he said it that made your heart skip a beat. The thought of spending some spontaneous time alone with him made you a little excited, though you tried to keep your expression neutral.
Rosinante, ever the observant one, nodded with an easy smile, though there was a glint in his eyes—a knowing look that you couldn’t miss. He had seen something, understood something. And from the way he glanced between the two of you, it was clear he already had his suspicions. After all, Rosinante knew Law better than almost anyone.
Law was notoriously private, barely letting anyone into his inner circle unless they were family or people he’d known for years. You, on the other hand, were new. Yet, here you were, already comfortably in his orbit.
“Sure, sure,” Rosinante said, his voice warm but laced with that subtle teasing tone, as if he was already in on a secret. “Take your time. Come by whenever.” He gave you both a little wave, as if to send you off with his blessing, but not without a sly grin in Law’s direction.
Law sighed quietly, his usual unbothered expression intact, though you caught a flicker of embarrassment. “Let’s go,” he murmured to you, holding the door open once again. You could feel Rosinante’s gaze on your back, almost as if he was silently cheering you both on.
As you stepped out into the street, the cool air hit your face, and you couldn’t help but chuckle. “Does your uncle always look like he knows something?” you teased, nudging him lightly.
Law let out a small laugh, shaking his head. “He’s got a wild imagination, that’s for sure.”
You shot him a playful grin, feeling that familiar, easy energy settle between you as the two of you walked side by side down the street. The cool breeze tousled your hair, and the comfortable rhythm of your footsteps matched.
You decided to sit somewhere in a café, and when you reached your destination, you already knew what was coming before it even happened. Predictably, Law swooped in and paid for your drinks before you could even react, despite your usual protests.
“You’ve gotta stop doing that,” you groaned, eyeing him as he slid your drink across the table. “I swear, every time.”
He smirked, nonchalant, already settling into the chair across from you. “Next time,” he said casually, leaning back as if this wasn’t the hundredth time he'd promised.
“Liar,” you shot back, narrowing your eyes playfully. “You always say that.” You nudged his leg under the table, a little harder than usual for emphasis, but he just laughed, the sound low and relaxed. His leg didn’t move though—neither did yours, both of you comfortable with the quiet, subtle contact.
“So, what have you been up to?” Law asked, pulling you both back to the conversation.
You shrugged, leaning into your chair. “Just the usual. Uni stuff. It’s not easy being the first non-doctor in the family,” you teased, throwing him a mischievous glance. “Must be rough growing up with not one, but two doctors in the house.”
Law raised an eyebrow, clearly amused. “Wow, that was subtle,” he deadpanned, though there was a grin tugging at the corner of his lips.
“Can you blame me?” you said with a smirk. “First, I find out about your medical dynasty. Then your uncle’s some high-end fashion designer? What's next? Secret agent grandma?”
Law snorted, rolling his eyes dramatically. “No, that's pretty much it.”
“Sure, sure. I’ll find something else. Just wait,” you teased, shaking your head with a laugh.
He leaned forward slightly, his smirk softening as he met your eyes. “You really dig into people's lives like that?”
You leaned in, matching his gaze, grinning. “Only the interesting ones.”
“Oh, so you’re interested in me?” Law's voice dropped into that deep, raspy tone that always caught you off guard, but this time you held your ground, meeting his gaze with a teasing glint in your eyes. He was trying to play it cool, but you could tell he was testing you, seeing how far you’d go.
You leaned in a little, lips curling into a smirk. “Mhm, no, I’m only interested in your inheritance now.”
Law chuckled, a low sound that sent a shiver down your spine. The kind of laugh that wasn’t just amused, but knowing. “You’re too smart for a sugar baby,” he murmured, eyes glinting with a challenge.
Without missing a beat, you shot back, “And you’re too handsome to be a sugar daddy.” You could see the slight shift in his expression—the momentary flicker of surprise in his eyes.
Got him.
His grin widened, and for a second, there was a glint of something almost dangerous in his gaze, like you’d managed to break through his cool exterior. With a lazy wink, he leaned back in his chair, folding his arms as if conceding defeat.
“Touché,” he said, still smiling, though his eyes hadn’t quite let go of that spark of surprise. You took the win and took a sip of your cup with a satisfied grin.
“Hey, by the way, this new game just came out.” You set your cup down, resting your chin in your palm, eyes bright as you looked at Law. The way you casually leaned in, your lips softly curving into a smile as you spoke, made it almost impossible for him to focus on anything else. You started explaining the game, voice animated, your eyes darting around like you were trying to visualize it in front of you.
Law sat there with his usual lazy, laid-back look, though inside, it was a completely different story. His chest tightened, warmth creeping through him as he watched you. He wasn’t even listening to the words coming out of your mouth—he was distracted by the way your smile lit up your entire face when you turned to him, by how softly your lips moved as you spoke. It was almost unfair how easily you could pull him in without even knowing it.
“…Mh?” he mumbled, only half-aware after you finished speaking, still dazed by the feeling you were stirring in him.
You raised an eyebrow, chuckling softly. “Did you even listen to a word I just said?”
“Sorry,” Law smirked, quickly covering his flustered moment. “I got distracted by my spying grandma behind that plant over there.”
You rolled your eyes with a grin, clearly not buying his excuse. “Uh-huh. Sure you did.”
Shrugging off his teasing, you sat up straighter and continued. “Anyway, I was saying… Wanna come over and try it out with me? It’s co-op, so we can play together.” You gave him a hopeful smile, your fingers absentmindedly tracing the edge of your cup.
Law grinned, leaning back in his chair as if considering your offer. “What game are we talking about again?” he asked, eyes sparkling with mischief. He was clearly teasing now, knowing full well you’d already explained it.
You groaned, throwing him a mock annoyed look. “Just come over, I’ll show it to you myself. You’ll love it.”
His chuckle was deep and warm, the kind that always made your chest flutter. He nodded slowly, still holding onto that playful glint in his eyes. “Alright, alright. Is Saturday good for you?”
“Saturday’s perfect.”
The weekend finally rolled around, and you found yourself prepping your apartment for Law’s visit. You weren’t trying to impress him; those days were long behind you both. Still, you tidied up a bit, grabbed some snacks and drinks, and hopped in the shower before pulling on something comfy. Just your usual—nothing fancy, but enough to feel good.
When the doorbell rang, you rushed over, opening it to find Law standing there, looking as he always did after work—tired but relieved. “Hey,” he greeted, running a hand through his hair. “Sorry I’m a bit late. Just finished my shift.”
You could see the exhaustion etched in his face, though there was a noticeable sense of ease now that he was with you. “Come in,” you said, stepping aside to let him enter. You watched him set his motorcycle helmet down near the door, moving with a kind of practiced laziness.
“Was it stressful?” you asked as you headed into the kitchen to grab him a drink.
Law had already collapsed onto your couch, sinking into the cushions like it was his first real breath all day. “You could say that.” His voice trailed off as he rubbed his eyes. He looked like he was trying to muster up the energy to enjoy the evening with you despite how drained he was.
“Beer?” you called from the kitchen.
“Whatever you’ve got,” he replied quickly, then continued once you re-entered with two cold bottles. “Thanks… yeah, it was one of those days. Someone got the wrong order, and I was the lucky guy who got yelled at. As usual.” He clinked his bottle against yours with a weary smile before taking a long sip.
“That sucks,” you said, settling next to him on the couch. “Why are you even doing deliveries? Isn’t your family pretty well off?”
Law hesitated, glancing at you. You’d already seen glimpses into his family situation, but there were still parts he wasn’t ready to lay bare. He let you in a little, he still trusted you after all.
After a brief pause, he shrugged. “Don’t like being a burden.”
You tilted your head, curious. “From what I’ve seen, you’re basically living off coffee and fried eggs, how is that being a burden.”
That earned you a small grin from him, though it didn’t fully reach his tired eyes. “Family member got sick when I started uni. Meds were expensive, and my parents weren’t working as much. Didn’t want to add more to their plate.” He let out details about his sister well-being, intentionally not having the energy nor wanting to think about it.
The way he said it so casually and shrugged along, like it wasn’t a big deal, wasn’t left unnoticed by you. You could tell there was a lot he wasn’t saying—things he wasn’t ready to share yet. Which you respected. Law didn’t want pity, didn’t want to dive into the storm he was clearly holding back. He appreciate that you didn’t dig deeper, and left it at that.
“Well,” you said, matching his casual tone, “one day you won’t have to do deliveries anymore. Just gotta get through uni first.” You offered him a small, encouraging smile, which he returned with a nod—though his was weighed down by more exhaustion than optimism.
“Yeah,” he muttered, taking another sip of his beer. “We’ll see.”
After a beat, Law glanced toward the console you had plugged in, clearly ready to shift the conversation. “Wanna play?”
“Definitely.” You beamed, putting your drink aside as you jumped up to grab the controllers. Once you bent over to reach for them, Laws eyes darted to you. You shorts crawled up your cheeks, exposing that sweet flesh of yours. He took his time mustering the pretty sight you gave him.
Law grinned slightly to himself. Just the distraction he need after dipping into a sensitive topic of his.
“Here,” you said, tossing him one of the controllers with a grin. It flew a little too close for comfort, almost landing on his crotch. Law caught it at the last second, shooting you a mock-outraged look.
“Could you please be more careful with my future children?” he deadpanned, though the smirk on his lips told you he was more amused than annoyed.
“Sorry,” you shot back, laughing. “Didn’t mean to risk bringing more know-it-alls into the world.”
Law rolled his eyes, grinning as he leaned back into the couch.
You booted up the game, explaining it as you went along. “So, it’s called It Takes Two. It’s this co-op puzzle game where you play as a couple trying to fix their relationship while helping their daughter. I’ve seen some clips—the story’s pretty heartbreaking, but the design is awesome.”
Before you could finish, Law had already claimed the character selection screen. “I’m playing the chick,” he said, selecting the female character—the mother—without hesitation.
You raised an eyebrow at him, clearly amused. “The mom?”
“What?” Law shrugged. “She’s got the better design. I like the colors.”
You shook your head with a grin. “Fine. Guess I’ll be the dad, then.”
As you got the hang of the controls, it didn’t take long to notice that Law was less interested in teamwork and more focused on messing with you. Every time he jumped on a button to create a path for you to cross, he'd mischievously move off just as you reached the edge, causing your character to plummet back down to the start.
“For fuck’s sake, Law!” you laughed, half-exasperated, half-amused, giving his shoulder a playful shove. “We’re supposed to fix our divorce in the game, not make it worse!”
Law chuckled, eyes gleaming with amusement. “It’s just too much fun watching you fall.” His grin was infuriatingly smug, the kind that told you he had no regrets.
“Oh, sure,” you said, narrowing your eyes, “and I’m supposed to trust you now?”
“Promise I won’t do it again,” he said, raising his hands in surrender. But the glint in his eyes told you otherwise, and you could already sense the next trap coming.
Still, you pressed on. When you reached the next precarious platform, you hesitated, knowing full well that he could mess with you at any moment. Just as you took a leap of faith, the path began to disappear beneath your feet once again, thanks to Law’s mischievous antics. But this time, you barely managed to land on solid ground.
“Ha!” you exclaimed triumphant. “Nice try, jerk.”
When it came time for you to help Law, you couldn't resist dishing out a bit of revenge. You let him fall repeatedly, or simply walked ahead without him, laughing to yourself every time his character met an unfortunate fate. Progress in the game ground to a halt, but that hardly mattered. Watching the frustration build on Law’s face was the real reward.
“Come on, Y/N, we haven’t even finished the first proper map,” he groaned, shooting you an annoyed look as his character plummeted once again.
You grinned, enjoying your moment of power. “Beg for it, sucker.”
But instead of giving in, Law's expression shifted, a playfulness lighting up his eyes. He leaned back slightly, his voice lowering in that all-too-familiar teasing tone. “Thought you were the one who liked begging.”
Heat instantly crept up your face as his words registered, the memory of that one shared night crashing into your mind. You had no doubt what he was referring to—how he’d relentlessly teased you until you’d given in, basically begging him to fuck you.
“Was just a one time thing.” You quickly tried to regain your composure, but the embarrassment lingered, especially with the way he was looking at you—so calm, so confident about his teasing. And there you were, struggling to keep up with the game and the sudden heat spreading across your skin.
Law leaned in slightly, his voice a playful murmur. “Sure, if that helps you sleep at night.”
You rolled your eyes, desperate to steer the conversation away from the memory that now seemed to hang between you two. “Alright, alright,” you muttered, clearing your throat. “Let’s get back to the game before your ego gets too big.”
“You didn’t seem to mind big—”
“I swear to God, Law!” You burst into laughter mid-threat, grabbing a pillow and throwing it at him, hitting him square in the face. Law barely flinched, his smirk only widening. He knew exactly how to push your buttons, and while it drove you insane, you couldn’t deny that you enjoyed it.
Law pulled the pillow off his lap and chuckled, tossing it back in your direction. “Then stop being a dick in the game.”
You grinned, grabbing the pillow with mock determination. Leaning in like you were about to launch another attack, you readied yourself to retaliate, but Law was quicker. He sat up sharply, grabbing your wrists and holding them firmly, his grip tight. That smug grin never left his face.
“Go ahead, try,” he taunted, daring you. You pushed against him, but it was no use—he was stronger, and with little effort, he tipped the balance, sending you falling back on the couch. The pillow tumbled onto your chest as Law moved to pin you down, his hands still wrapped around your wrists. His body hovered over yours, the proximity sending your heart racing. You could feel the warmth of his breath, just inches away from your lips.
His gaze locked onto yours, that teasing glint now more intense, more focused. “Now,” he murmured, his voice dropping to a low, almost commanding tone that made your stomach flutter. “Help me get our daughter back and cut the crap.”
You weren’t going to let him have the last word so easily. “Make me,” you whispered, trying to sound confident despite the thudding in your chest.
Your eyes flicked to his, trying to gauge just how serious he was. His grip on your wrists tightened slightly, not enough to hurt, but enough to remind you that he was in control now. The way he leaned in closer, his breath ghosting over your lips, sent a shiver down your spine. You could feel the heat radiating off him.
He chuckled, lowering his head to nuzzle against your neck. “You sure?,” he said, his voice muffled against your skin.
You shivered as his teeth grazed the sensitive spot behind your ear, sending a wave of tingles down your spine. You could feel one of his hand sliding lower, tracing lazy circles on your hipbone, while the other held your wrists in an ion grip. The sensation was both comforting and electrifying, making it hard to think straight.
“Maybe I changed my mind,” you murmured, tilting your head to give him better access.
Law’s fingers tightened briefly on your hip before releasing “Too late,” he replied, his voice thick with promise.
You couldn’t argue with that. The way his touch made you melt beneath him, the way his presence set your heart racing—it was impossible to deny the tension between you. And as much as you wanted to maintain your pride, the truth was too tempting to ignore.
When he finally pulled back, his eyes were dark with lust. Looking at you as if you were his little prey. “Stay still.”
Law’s fingers slipped beneath the fabric of your waistband, his touch sending a jolt of electricity through you. The unexpectedness of it all made you gasp, your breath hitching as he traced slow, deliberate circles around your navel. His eyes never left yours, watching intently for your reaction, that smirk still plastered on his lips.
He moved his hand lower, brushing against the sensitive skin just above the edge of your shorts. You squirmed instinctively, but he held you in place, still pinning you down, while his fingers moved teasingly close to where you needed them most.
“Stop playing and get on with it,” you muttered, half-heartedly struggling against his hold.
Law chuckled softly, leaning in closer until his breath tickled your ear. “Patience, Y/N,” he whispered, his voice husky and seductive, making it clear what your place was. With one swift motion he slid off your short, making them tangle at your ankle before you kicked them off.
Goosebumps spread over your skin as his fingers dipped into the waistband of your underwear now. He explored the curve of your hip, his touch both gentle and insistent, before slipping lower, his fingers finally finding the warm, wet center of your desire.
“Fuck,” you moaned, arching your back as he pressed against your clit, circling and teasing with known precision. The sensation was overwhelming, and you could feel yourself getting wetter by the second, completely forgetting about the game.
Law’s free hand moved to cup your face and released your hands, his thumb stroking your cheek as he continued his ministrations. “You want more?” he murmured, his voice dripping with satisfaction, seeing how easily he could tame you.
“Yeah,” you admitted, your hips bucking slightly as he increased the pressure, pressing harder against your aching need. “God, Law… please…”
He didn’t answer with words, instead choosing to show you exactly what you wanted. His fingers slid inside you, filling you as he began to move with purposeful slow thrusts. The feeling was intoxicating, and you could feel the heat in your body building rapidly, threatening to overtake you.
He leaned down and kissed you, his lips soft and lingering. The taste of you on his mouth was heady, and you couldn’t help but kiss him back, hungry for more of his touch.
“Now…,” Law said, breaking the kiss and looking down at you with that same intense gaze. “Spread those pretty legs for me.”
You hesitated for a moment, unsure if you were ready for what was coming next. But Law’s eyes locked onto yours, and you found yourself unable to resist. Slowly, you parted your legs, giving him full access to your vulnerable core. With a lift of your hips, your underwear was quickly slipped off as well.
Law didn’t waste any time. He positioned himself between your thighs, his hands resting on either side of your hips as he leaned in. You could see the determination in his eyes, the raw hunger that mirrored your own desires.
He lowered his head and took you into his mouth, his tongue flicking against your clit in a way that made you cry out immediately. The sensation fogged up your mind, making you circle your hips against his tongue. God, he knew exactly what he was doing.
He started off slowly, teasing and tasting, his wet muscle exploring every inch of your folds. The warmth of his mouth combined with the pressure of his tongue drove you wild, and you couldn’t help but pull at his hair, desperate for more.
Law’s hands gripped your thighs, holding you steady as he picked up the pace. His tongue worked relentlessly, circling and probing, pushing you closer and closer to the edge with each passing second. The sound of your moans filled the room, mixing with the wet, slick noises of his mouth working its magic.
“Oh God, Law… I’m gonna…” you gasped, your body trembling with the force of your impending orgasm. Before you knew it, you felt two of his finger back inside you, gently pumping in and out as his tongue was still playing with your clit.
That were enough to push you over the edge. Your entire body clenched as wave after wave of orgasmic bliss washed over you, your thights tightened around his head, as you came. Law didn’t stopped, his relentless tongue ensuring that you rode out every last bit of pleasure until you were left a shuddering, panting mess beneath him.
When you finally came down from your high, Law lifted his head, his lips glistening with your juices. He looked down at you, a satisfied smile playing on his lips.
“You going to listen to me now?” he asked, his voice dripping with amusement as he he wiped off the rest from his chin and licked his lips clean.
You could only nod, too exhausted to form coherent words. Law chuckled, leaning down to kiss you, this time soft and gentle.
“Good,” he murmured against your lips, giving you one last peck before pulling back. Law straightened up, moving with a casual ease that almost made you grin. He bent down to collect your scattered clothes, handing your shorts and underwear back to you without a second thought.
“Thanks,” you muttered, still breathless, as you slowly sat up. A light dizziness settled in, your body buzzing with leftover adrenaline. It was hard to fully process what had just happened—how quickly everything had escalated, only for him to shift gears just as smoothly.
Before you could even catch your breath properly, Law dropped the controller back into your lap and unpaused the game as if nothing had transpired. He sat back down beside you, this time closer, his leg pressed against yours. Without a word, he allowed you to lean into him, your head resting on his shoulder while you tried to recover from the whirlwind of emotions and the intensity of the moment.
“You’re good at this…” you mumbled, commenting on how effortlessly he had made you cum just moments ago. Law glanced at you, a playful grin tugging at the corners of his lips as he finally focused on cooperating with you in the game.
“You’re worth it,” he replied without thinking, the words slipping out so fast that even he froze for a second. His character in the game stopped moving entirely as the weight of what he’d said settled in the air between you.
You blinked, momentarily taken aback, your heart skipping a beat. Did you just hear that right?
Law’s usual confidence faltered as heat rose to his cheeks. He quickly turned his attention back to the screen, avoiding your gaze, but the way he shifted told you he wasn’t used to being this exposed. His attempt to play it off only made it more endearing, and the butterflies in your stomach fluttered uncontrollably.
A soft smile crept onto your lips, one that you didn’t even try to hide. Without overthinking it, you leaned in and gently kissed his cheek, the warmth of your lips lingering against his skin.
“Okay, we gotta split here—” you said, turning your attention back to the game, picking up right where you left off.
As you explained the next steps, you caught the subtle shift in Law’s expression. A small, genuine smile began to form on his face as he relaxed next to you, sinking into the couch with a new kind of ease. The tension that had filled the space between you earlier now melted away, replaced by something softer, something unspoken but deeply understood.
He listened to your instructions, but his mind kept drifting back to what he had said. And as he glanced at you, his smile deepened ever so slightly.
Yeah, you were definitely worth it.

You stood near the entrance of the Neo Club, your tiny fingers gripping the paper bag you had prepared earlier, waiting for your boyfriend. It had been two years since you two got together, although it felt like only the first half of the relationship was when he truly cherished you. Now, it seemed like you were the only one still holding on.
"I can never get used to this," you whispered to yourself, feeling a wave of embarrassment wash over you.
Only God knew how much you wanted to disappear into the shadows. The Neo Club was where your boyfriend and his friends hung out to write and practice their music—they were, after all, the university band. The thought of his friends seeing you here, waiting after he had ghosted you for months, gnawed at you. But you knew better than anyone that you needed this. The relationship needed this.
Your heart raced when the door opened, and to your relief, it was your boyfriend, Jaehyun, stepping out first.
"Jaehyun ah", you called softly.
He didn't look happy but he couldn't brush you off in front of others.
"Oh, y/n. You're here?"
"Yeah, I thought I'd stop by." You paused for a moment before continuing quietly, "It is our anniversary after all."
Jaehyun's face tightened at the reminder, but he quickly composed himself. It was obvious he had forgotten—just like he had forgotten Valentine’s Day.
"Y/n!", Doyoung greeted you enthusiastically, flashing you a warm smile.
You radiate the energy back quickly, Doyoung has always been nice to you regardless and you're more than thankful for that.
"Hi Doyoung, nice to see you again", you glance over Jaehyun out of the corner of your eye. You caught the faint sneer twisting his lips.
"You too, we were about to grab dinner. Come join us",wrapping an arm around Ten's shoulder.
The three of them were really close, as they bonded through their passion for music. However, you always felt Jaehyun had a silent jealousy towards Doyoung. Before you could answer Doyoung, Jaehyun was quick to interfere in the conversation.
"No, it's our anniversary. She can't spend time with you"
You were stunned, but yes. Tonight is important for you, you had planned it all for weeks ago.
--
The two of you parted ways with Doyoung and Ten and walked toward the nearby park. The walk was quiet; neither of you said a word.
"How contradictory," you thought bitterly.
You reminisced about how Jaehyun used to reach for your hand so naturally, especially on nights like this. You missed it more than you could express. Gathering all your courage, you decided to ask for it one last time.
"Can I… hold your hand? Just this once, I promise."
"Oh. Sure, here." Jaehyun reached out, gently taking your hand.
The simple touch made you emotional. It was bittersweet—both comforting and painful all at once.
Once you both reached the park, the cool evening breeze swept through the air, carrying with it a quiet serenity. You found a bench under the soft glow of the park's lampposts, and you gently placed the paper bag you had been carrying beside you. Jaehyun sat down next to you, his expression distant but calm.
You reached into the bag and pulled out a small cake, carefully wrapped in a box. You had chosen it from his favorite bakery, hoping it might spark a little warmth between you two. It was a simple slice of vanilla cake, layered with whipped cream and strawberries—a favorite from your earlier days together.
“I got this for us,” you said quietly, handing him a fork.
Jaehyun glanced at the cake, then at you before taking the fork from your hand. You cut a small piece for yourself, and for a moment, both of you were lost in the quiet rhythm of eating. The sweetness of the cake contrasted with the heaviness in the air.
Jaehyun took a bite, chewing slowly.
“It’s good,” he said, though his voice lacked the enthusiasm you were once used to.
You offered a faint smile, feeling the weight of the moment pressing down on you. As you ate, memories of the past flooded your mind—the times when sharing a simple dessert would have brought laughter, playful banter, and warmth. Now, the silence was deafening, and each bite of cake tasted bittersweet.
You glanced over at Jaehyun, noticing how even the joy of something familiar, something you used to share, seemed distant now. He ate slowly, almost as if going through the motions, and you realized that the cake, much like your relationship, was a fleeting attempt to recapture something that was already slipping away.
"Jaehyun ah", you called.
He responded with a hum, not bothering to lift his face toward you. As you both finished the last bites, you wiped your fingers on a napkin and looked at him one more time, hoping for a connection that never came. The cake was gone, and with it, the last remnant of the sweetness you had once shared.
"Let's not see each other again"
He stopped breathing at your words, finally meeting your eyes.
"What?"
"You heard me. Let's end this relationship already," you said, your eyes turning glassy before you continued.
"I’ve thought about us, and it’s best for us to part ways. The way you’ve been handling this relationship... it’s clear enough for me to see that I’m not part of the future you’re so busy planning."
"Are you saying I don't think of you in my future? Y/N, you know how much the band, this music, means to me. Making new music, composing... it’s really not easy, and it’s been tough, especially now that I can't come up with anything—"
"I understand, Jaehyun. I really do, but that’s not the point here."
"Then what is the point?"
"Jaehyun, do you even love me anymore?"
Jaehyun froze at your question, the weight of it hanging in the air between you. He opened his mouth to speak but hesitated, as if searching for the right words or perhaps realizing there weren’t any. The silence stretched, painfully long, before he finally spoke.
"Of course, I do, Y/N... but things are just... complicated right now."
You shook your head, feeling a mix of frustration and sadness.
"Complicated," you echoed, your voice breaking slightly.
"That’s all you ever say. It shouldn’t feel like I’m waiting for you to show up for me." He looked away, guilt and confusion flickering in his eyes.
"I didn’t mean to make you feel that way."
"But you did," you whispered. "And now, it’s too late."
Jaehyun’s face tightened as the reality of the situation began to sink in.
"So this is it? You’re giving up on us?"
"I’m not giving up, Jaehyun. I’m letting go. There’s a difference," you replied, feeling tears brimming in your eyes but refusing to let them fall.
"I deserve more than waiting around for someone who’s not sure if he wants me in his life."
Jaehyun remained silent, his hands clenching into fists as if fighting an internal battle. Part of him wanted to fight for you, but deep down, he knew you were right. He hadn’t been the partner you deserved, and now it was too late to fix what was broken.
As you stood up to leave, the weight of your decision felt heavy on your shoulders.
"Goodbye, Jaehyun," you said softly, your voice barely audible.
He watched as you walked away, your figure fading into the distance. For the first time, Jaehyun realized that the music he’d been chasing wasn’t the only thing he’d lost.
Jaehyun dragged himself back to the Neo Club, his mind a tangled mess of emotions. The weight of what just happened gnawed at him, but he pushed it aside, hoping that being with Doyoung and Ten might help him forget, even for a little while.
As he entered the dimly lit room, Doyoung and Ten were standing near the stage, grinning. "Surprise!" they both shouted, holding up a small cake with flickering candles. Jaehyun blinked, confused for a moment.
But then it hit him like a punch to the gut. This wasn’t for him.
"Where’s Y/N?" Doyoung asked, his smile faltering when he saw Jaehyun standing there alone.
Jaehyun’s face went pale, and the realization crashed down on him like a wave.
"Shit..." he muttered under his breath, clenching his fists.
It was your birthday.
He had forgotten. Completely.
The candles flickered in the awkward silence, the joyful surprise that Doyoung and Ten had planned now hanging in the air like a painful reminder. Jaehyun cursed himself, guilt settling in as he realized just how much he had already lost.
--
Jaehyun’s mind was a foggy mess as he stumbled through the park where the two of you had spent countless evenings together. Each step felt slower than the last. He found himself at the fountain—the one that had always been your favourite. The soft trickling of water formed a river-like stream that wound its way through the park, a quiet reminder of all the moments you’d shared.
He stopped in front of it, staring blankly at the rippling water. In his mind, he could still see you there, sitting on the bench with a soft smile on your face, your laughter echoing in his ears. How you used to tease him for getting lost in his thoughts, how you’d grab his hand and pull him close. The memory was so vivid it felt like he could reach out and touch it.
But you weren’t there anymore.
The realization hit him harder than anything else—harder than the silence that followed after you left. You were gone.
He slumped down onto the bench, his hands running through his hair as he tried to process it all. How had it come to this? How had he let you slip away without even realizing what he was losing? The band, the music—it all seemed so distant now, meaningless in comparison to the hollow ache in his chest.
"I’m letting go. There’s a difference," your voice echoed in his mind, soft but final.
You deserved more than he could give, and deep down, he knew that. He knew he had pushed you away, made you feel small, like an afterthought.
But knowing it didn’t make it any easier to swallow.
Jaehyun’s vision blurred as the tears he had been holding back finally spilt over. He didn’t try to wipe them away. He let them fall, dripping onto his jeans as he stared at the fountain, wishing more than anything that he could turn back time. He would hold your hand tighter, make you laugh more, and show you that he loved you instead of leaving you in the shadows.
And now, it was too late.
As the fountain continued its soft, rhythmic flow, Jaehyun whispered into the darkness, knowing no one would hear him.
"I’m sorry... I love you."
But the words, just like you, were gone—carried away by the wind, never to return.
--
Jaehyun glanced back to reality as he searched for a coin in his pocket. He never believed in any superstitious beliefs but could use one tonight. Taking out the coin, ready to make one and toss it into the fountain.
"Take me back," he chanted.
"Just let me be with her a little longer," as he closed his eyes, bringing his hand in the gesture of wishing before tossing the coin.
As Jaehyun's coin splashed into the fountain's waters, he felt a surge of emotion wash over him, a mixture of hope and desperation swirling within his heart. For a fleeting moment, he allowed himself to believe in the possibility of a second chance, of redemption and reconciliation.
However, as the ripples of the coin's impact faded into the night, reality came crashing back with a sobering clarity. Jaehyun knew deep down that time could not be undone, that the wounds of the past ran too deep to be healed by mere wishes.
With a heavy heart, Jaehyun turned away from the fountain, his mind clouded with thoughts of what could have been. As he blinked back the weight of his emotions, he noticed an old man sitting on a nearby bench, his face illuminated by the soft glow of the moon. The man offered him a gentle smile, which Jaehyun returned out of courtesy. There was something about the man that stirred Jaehyun’s curiosity.
"Do you come here often?" Jaehyun asked.
"I come here every night, young man," the old man replied.
"It’s a peaceful place," Jaehyun remarked, gesturing toward the shimmering waters, their reflection reminding him of your eyes.
"Do you believe in the power of wishes?"
The old man’s smile deepened, as though he had been waiting for that question.
"I believe in the power of music," he responded cryptically, his gaze fixed on the fountain.
Jaehyun let out a small chuckle, shaking his head. He couldn't believe he almost expected an old man to have the answer to his problems. He turned to say something more, but when he glanced back, the bench was empty, as if the man had never been there at all. It almost felt like a dream or a delusion. Yet, as Jaehyun looked at the fountain again, he couldn’t shake the feeling that the old man’s words had left something behind—something that had shifted deep within him.
--
As Jaehyun dwells on the mysterious encounter with the old man, his thoughts are consumed by the words uttered about the power of music. With a sense of curiosity driving him, he made his way to the Neo Club.
The room was empty when he entered as he scans the room. It was filled with all the stuff he and his club members would do, the wave of memories comes flashing back in his mind. But nothing came helpful for him in the room. Just as he was about to leave, he heard the sound of the door swinging and sees your small figure coming afterwards.
"Jaehyun? What brings you here?" you inquired, your voice breaking the silence.
Jaehyun froze, his heart skipping a beat at the sound of your voice. He vividly remembered watching you walk away, but there you were, standing before him as if you’d never left. And yet, something about you seemed different—softer, almost unreal. Without a second thought, he closed the distance between you, pulling you into a tight embrace and burying his face in the crook of your neck.
"Y/N, I’m so sorry," he whispered, his voice trembling with emotion. "I’ve been such a fool. I should have never let you go. I don’t know what I was thinking, but I’m so grateful you came back to me."
He clung to you like a lifeline, his words spilling out in a rush.
"Thank you, thank you for giving me another chance. I promise I’ll do better. I’ll make it right this time, I swear. Just don’t leave me again."
His grip tightened as if he feared you might disappear at any moment. But you stayed still, not even hugging him back.
Confused, Jaehyun pulled back slightly, searching your face for a response. His heart pounded in his chest, fear creeping in. Something was off.
"Jaehyun," you began, your voice steady but distant,
"you just confessed to me earlier. What are you apologizing for? Did you lie about going back to the dormitory? Why are you here?"
His heart dropped as the realization hit—this wasn’t the same moment. Something was terribly wrong.
"Well, it's a bit complicated. But nothing to worry about," Jaehyun replied with a reassuring smile.
"Why are you here, though?" you pressed further.
"I was actually looking for Ten. He needed some extra music sheets," Jaehyun explained quickly.
"Oh, perfect timing. I bought some for him earlier. Here, you can give them to him. He’s your roommate anyway," you said, rummaging through your bag and handing the sheets to Jaehyun before offering a quick goodbye.
As Jaehyun watched you walk away, a wave of nostalgia hit him. He remembered how you used to subtly hint at wanting him to walk you home. Though you never directly asked, he had always known. Feeling a sudden urgency, he rushed after you, catching your wrist as you reached the exit.
"Let me walk you back to the dormitory," he offered.
"Are you sure? It's getting dark," you said, concern in your voice.
"I'm sure. I just... I want to spend a little more time with you," Jaehyun confessed, heart pounding with anticipation.
Your puzzled look mirrored the confusion stirring within Jaehyun. Could he really have traveled back to two years ago, to when your relationship had just begun?
"Jaehyun?" you called, snapping him out of his thoughts. "You’ve been zoning out a lot lately. It’s starting to worry me."
“I’m sorry, Y/N. My mind's a mess right now.”
"We can figure it out together, if you want," you smiled at him. Your warmth hit Jaehyun like a wave, and before he knew it, he was leaning in, gently placing a kiss on your lips.
“Was that too early?” he asked, resting his forehead against yours.
"Don't worry. I like it this way," you whispered, sharing a quiet laugh before continuing your walk toward the dormitory.
--
Jaehyun was left reeling, his mind struggling to comprehend the strange turn of events. He didn’t like this gamble he was playing but he ran out of options when he knocked on the dormitory door that he used to share with Ten. No longer later, the door swung open.
“You lost your key again, Jaehyun?”
It was Ten.
Jaehyun tried to understand the situation but the more he spoke to Ten, the more confused he got. As the next day dawns, he begins to start his routine just like how he would back at university. Trying to mix the puzzle.
Jaehyun spends the next few days retracing the familiar steps of his university life, trying to understand where exactly he is in the timeline. It was not easier for him. He kept doing things out of place, calling familiar faces around the campus but none of them recognised him, struggled to get into the right class although some seemed oddly easy this time around. It's as if his mind holds onto memories from a future that hasn't happened yet.
Just as he walked out of his last class of the day, his thoughts immediately turned to you. He had always wanted to wait for you after your classes, but you never let him, thinking it would burden him to pick you up from another faculty. Yet, as time passed and the relationship deepened, you couldn’t help but start longing for that gesture.
Jaehyun remembered how you once brought it up during a fight.
“I didn’t think it mattered,” he had said in frustration.
“It does matter, Jaehyun! You never offer, not once! I know I said it’s fine, but I wanted you to at least try,” you had replied, your voice trembling.
At that moment, he realized how much those small gestures meant to you, but he had been too wrapped up in everything else to notice. The memory of that argument lingered, making him wish he had understood sooner.
Jaehyun found himself walking to your class, his feet moving on instinct as if drawn by a force he couldn’t explain. He stood outside, leaning against the wall, nervously checking the time. His heart raced with anticipation, unsure if this gesture would mean anything now.
As students started to spill out, he caught sight of you, chatting with a friend. For a moment, he hesitated, wondering if he should even be there. But then your eyes met his, and time seemed to slow. He offered a small, unsure smile, hoping you’d remember this moment—the one you had once wanted so badly.
"Jaehyun, you shouldn't be doing this. I can wait for you after you finish your band practice", you whispered to him when you walked towards him. He could see how shy you become.
"I know, but I want to be here for you," Jaehyun replied, his voice low but earnest.
You paused, caught off guard by his sincerity.
"But I don’t want to burden you, especially with everything you have going on."
"No, don't say that. You are not a burden. I want to wait for you after class. It made me feel connected to you", he insisted, taking a step closer.
You felt your heart flutter at his words, a mix of warmth and uncertainty swirling inside you. You searched his face for any signs of doubt, but all you saw was determination. It was a small gesture, yet it felt monumental at that moment.
"Are you sure this is what you want?"
"Yes, absolutely".
--
You walked side by side with Jaehyun, a gentle warmth spread through you, but your shyness began to creep in. The way he looked at you, with genuine interest and kindness, made your stomach flutter. You tried to focus on what to say about your day, but your thoughts felt jumbled.
When you reached the café, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the air, and you felt a bit more at ease. Jaehyun held the door open for you, and you stepped inside, your cheeks warming at the little gesture.
“Okay, spill. How was your day?” he asked, leaning casually against the counter as you both waited in line.
You fidgeted with the strap of your bag, glancing at him before looking away, your heart racing.
“Um, it was fine. Just… classes and studying. Nothing too exciting, really.” Jaehyun raised an eyebrow, clearly unconvinced.
“Come on, there has to be something interesting. Did you learn anything new?”
You hesitated, feeling a bit shy under his gaze.
“Well, we started a group project in class… and I was kind of nervous about presenting.” Jaehyun nodded, encouraging you with a smile.
“I’m sure you did great. You’re always so prepared. What was the project about?”
As you spoke about the project, your confidence slowly began to build. Jaehyun listened intently, his eyes never leaving yours. The way he focused on you made the words flow more easily, and you found yourself getting lost in the conversation.
“—and then my group members had a million ideas, and I was just trying to keep up,” you laughed, finally feeling a little more comfortable. Jaehyun smiled back, his expression warm.
With each passing moment, your shyness began to melt away, replaced by a sense of connection you hadn’t felt in a while. As you moved to the counter to order, Jaehyun placed his hand on the small of your back, guiding you gently forward. It felt natural, yet electrifying.
“Your turn. What do you want?” he asked, looking at the menu with a playful glint in his eyes.
You bit your lip, trying to suppress a smile. “Um, maybe a caramel macchiato?”
“Great choice,” he said, his voice light. As he ordered for both of you, you couldn’t help but feel grateful for this moment. Jaehyun placed the order for both of you, you turned to him, eager to ask about his day.
“So, how about you? Anything new from the class?”
But just as the words left your lips, Jaehyun’s gaze shifted. He made eye contact with the cashier, and a small smile crept onto his face—one that made your heart sink a little. You followed his gaze and saw Yeri, who was chatting with another customer, her laughter ringing out. She was Jaehyun's friend and you know the both of them shared a lot of things before he met you. She was even the former vocalist of the band.
You felt a familiar knot of insecurity tighten in your stomach. You’d always felt a twinge of jealousy about Jaehyun’s friendship with her, especially when they shared that effortless connection. You tried to shake off the feeling, but it lingered. He turned back to you, his expression shifting from warmth to concern.
“Uh, Jaehyun?” you said, your voice softer than before. “You know, I… I don’t want to interrupt your time with Yeri if you want to say hi.”
“What? No, it’s not like that at all. I was just—”
“It’s fine, she's your friend anyway” you interrupted, forcing a smile that didn’t quite reach your eyes.
“No. That's not what I want. I wanted to spend time with you, not anyone else. I promise.”
But as you glanced back at Yeri, who was now exchanging friendly banter with the next customer, the knot in your stomach tightened further. You couldn’t help but wonder if he’d rather be with her than standing here with you. The doubt flickered in your mind, and you tried to suppress it.
As the bartender placed the drinks on the counter, his gaze shifted back to you, the sincerity in his eyes reassuring you.
“Y/N, you’re not interrupting anything. I wanted to be here with you, not anyone else.”
You felt a warmth at his words but couldn’t shake the feeling that there were parts of his life he hadn’t shared yet.
“Okay,” you said softly, trying to push the unease aside.
His hand brushed against yours for a brief moment. It sent a spark through you, but doubts lingered, hidden beneath the surface. You wanted to believe him, to trust in the connection you shared, even if shadows from the future clouded his mind.
As you both grabbed your coffees and moved to a cosy corner of the café, Jaehyun’s thoughts drifted momentarily back to Yeri, but he quickly redirected his focus to you. You deserved his full attention, and he was determined to keep it that way.
--
Later that day, Jaehyun made his way to the practice room, his mind still buzzing from the coffee date. He found Ten already set up, surrounded by scattered sheets of music and a guitar resting against the wall.
“Jaehyun, you’re here!” Ten exclaimed, looking up with a grin.
“Help me with this new song.”
Jaehyun chuckled, settling into a chair across from him.
“What’s the song about?”
"It's called Lie With You. It's about longing for someone. The lyrics explore the feeling of wanting to be close to someone, to share not just the good moments but also the struggles. It’s like… wanting to escape reality together, even just for a moment.”
Jaehyun understood that feeling as he was facing the situation.
“It’s about those fleeting moments when you wish you could freeze time. It’s a mix of love, heartache, and the desire to be understood completely," Ten continued.
“Here,” Ten said, glancing at Jaehyun, “help me with this chorus. I want it to capture that feeling of wanting to lie down with someone, to just be together without the weight of the world.”
As Ten played, the melody unfolded—soft and haunting, weaving through the air like a gentle breeze. Jaehyun felt himself getting lost in the sound, the emotions resonating with his own experiences. Each note seemed to echo the longing he felt for you, the memories still vivid in his mind. His heart raced as he listened to the lyrics; they painted a picture of intimacy and connection—something he yearned for but felt slipping away. As they collaborated, the song transformed into an anthem of love and loss, reflecting everything Jaehyun struggled to hold on to.
“Let’s make it something people can relate to,” Jaehyun suggested, feeling the urgency of his own emotions at the moment. “Something that speaks to the heart.”
--
Days passed, and Jaehyun and Ten dedicated countless hours to composing the song. It was a truly precious time for Jaehyun—second only to the moments he spent with you.
You made your way to the library, determined to clear your mind and focus on your assignments. With your next class not scheduled for another two hours, you aimed to make the most of your time. Settling into a comfortable spot, you immersed yourself in your work.
As you continued to study, you noticed a familiar figure approaching out of the corner of your eye. There was something about the way he carried himself, the slight hesitation in his steps that hinted at his identity even before you fully registered his face.
As he drew nearer, you lifted your gaze from your work, and there he was—Jaehyun. Recognition sparked instantly, a mix of surprise and curiosity washing over you.
"Jaehyun?" you exclaimed softly, disbelief lacing your voice.
His face broke into a warm smile at the sound of his name.
"Hey there," he greeted, sliding into the empty seat beside you.
Seeing him in the library was a pleasant surprise, and you couldn't help but wonder what had brought him here at this moment.
"I didn't know you had a free period," you chuckled lightly, breaking the ice.
Jaehyun smiled back, his gaze warm and friendly.
"Seems like we have a lot to catch up on then."
Your laughter filled the otherwise quiet library, adding a sense of warmth to the atmosphere.
"So, you're here by yourself?" Jaehyun asked, breaking the silence.
"Yeah, my friends decided to skip class today, so I thought I could use this time for myself."
As you returned to your studies, Jaehyun settled in beside you, sitting quietly without intending to disturb you. You could see him starting to get sleepy, and a small laugh escaped you as he rested his head on the table.
"Sir, you’re not supposed to do this in the library," you teased.
"I know, but I’m so sleepy. Watching you calms me down," he replied, his eyes half-closed.
"Should we go outside or something?" you suggested.
"Let’s just stay here for a moment," he said, slipping his hand into yours under the table, closing his eyes with a content smile.
"Until the librarian kicks us out," he added playfully.
A warm flutter stirred in your stomach at the intimacy of the moment, and you decided to continue studying, feeling both shy and comforted by his presence.
--
As your relationship with Jaehyun flourished, his creative energy also surged. He spent countless hours in the practice room with Ten, diving deep into songwriting sessions with emotions he felt for you. The bond between Ten and Jaehyun was stronger than ever, as they bounced ideas off each other, turning snippets of melodies into full-fledged songs. Ten often teased Jaehyun about his newfound inspiration.
“You’re different these days. It’s like you’ve got a muse or something” he would say, a knowing grin on his face.
Jaehyun would blush, deflecting the comment, but secretly, he knew that you were the reason behind the spark in his music.
Together, they composed several songs, but one in particular began to take shape—an anthem about love and longing, capturing the essence of what Jaehyun was experiencing with you. He poured his heart into the lyrics, weaving in moments from your time together—late-night study sessions where Jaehyun would playfully nudge you, teasing you about your study habits, while you would gently scold him for his tendency to nap instead of focusing on his music, shared laughter at the café, and those quiet walks through the park.
On days when you visited the practice room, Jaehyun would play snippets of the new songs for you.
“What do you think?”
He’d ask, his eyes searching yours for approval. You’d lean in closer, captivated by the sound.
"Well, I really like it, especially the verse where-",
"Y/N', Jaehyun remind you softly it's okay to be honest with a smile.
"Sorry Jaehyun, I think the lyrics were a bit off",
He chuckled at your honesty, finding it adorable. As he moved closer, he glanced at the sheets you were holding, leaning in confidently. The Neo Club was empty that night; he had chosen this moment carefully, knowing his friends were leaving to give you both some privacy.
You could smell his scent from this distance, and the warmth between you was almost noticeable. Your cheeks flushed as you felt the heat radiating from his presence, brushing the back of your hand against your face. Jaehyun laughed at your shyness, leaning in closer, about to kiss you when suddenly, the door swung open.
Doyoung stepped into the club, he looked confused at the both of you as he tried to process what was happening.
“Well, didn’t know you guys were here,” he said casually, setting his guitar down near the door.
Jaehyun’s annoyance was barely concealed. This was supposed to be his moment with you, and Doyoung’s sudden appearance felt like an intrusion. You shifted uncomfortably, feeling a wave of shyness, your cheeks still warm from the almost-kiss. Doyoung’s eyes quickly landed on the sheet music in your hands.
"Is that 'Lie With You'? Mind if I take a look?"
You nodded slightly and handed the music over to him. Doyoung took the sheets gently, his eyes scanning the page as Jaehyun sighed, clearly trying to maintain his composure. The song was deeply personal to him and Ten, something they had poured their hearts into. He didn’t want Doyoung, no matter how talented, meddling with it.
"We’re still working on it," Jaehyun said, his voice tight with frustration.
"Hmm... some of these lines feel a little too heavy. You could lighten it up a bit, give it more flow. That way, it hits harder emotionally," Doyoung suggested, his tone thoughtful.
Jaehyun’s jaw clenched, but he knew Doyoung wasn’t entirely wrong. His natural charm and musical instinct made it hard to stay irritated.
"We don’t need to lighten it," Jaehyun muttered under his breath, though part of him understood the advice.
You smiled nervously, sensing the tension in Jaehyun but knowing that Doyoung only wanted to help. As the night continued, Jaehyun and Doyoung worked together, exchanging ideas. Despite Jaehyun’s initial frustration, it became clear they made a perfect team, their creative energies blending seamlessly.
As Doyoung suggested changes, Jaehyun felt a tight knot in his chest. He hated the idea of anyone else touching something so personal, yet he had to admit that Doyoung's input made the song stronger. He even suspected that Ten might’ve reached out to Doyoung for help since they’d been stuck on this part of the song for a while.
Just then, Jaehyun glanced over at you. You seemed tired, your eyes slightly drooping as you tried to follow the conversation between him and Doyoung. The long day had clearly worn you down, and Jaehyun noticed the way you shifted uncomfortably in your seat, trying to stay awake.
He frowned softly, his protective side kicking in.
“Hey,” he called gently, leaning closer to you. “You look exhausted. You should head home and rest.”
You blinked, trying to shake off the fatigue. “I’m okay, I don’t mind waiting for you.”
“It’s fine, really. I’ll walk you back.”
Jaehyun gave you a small smile, appreciating your dedication but knowing you needed the rest. Doyoung, sensing the moment, glanced between the two of you and nodded in agreement.
“Yeah, Y/N, you should rest. We’ve got this for now.”
You hesitated for a moment but eventually gave in, the exhaustion catching up to you. As Jaehyun helped you gather your things, he couldn’t help but feel a wave of affection for you. Even in your tired state, you had been by his side, supporting him and Ten’s work.
“I’ll text you when we’re done,” Jaehyun promised as he gently placed a hand on the small of your back, guiding you out of the club.
As you walked out into the quiet night, Jaehyun couldn’t stop himself from glancing at you again, grateful for the moments you shared, even in the simplest of ways.
Without warning, Jaehyun stopped in his tracks, gently pulling you closer by the hand. You looked up, confused but intrigued.
“I owe you something,” he said softly, his eyes twinkling.
“What do you—”
Before you could finish, Jaehyun leaned down and pressed a gentle kiss to your lips, catching you by surprise. His touch was soft, lingering just long enough to send warmth rushing through you.
"I love you", he whispered, his forehead resting against yours.
You felt your heart flutter, unable to stop the grin from spreading across your face as you whispered back.
"I love you too".
--
"Doyoung really did great with the lyrics, actually," Ten told Jaehyun as they stepped into the café that evening before he continued.
"I hope you don't have any bad feelings towards him for that. I know how much you worked on that"
Jaehyun sighed, knowing the jealousy he was feeling was childish. It wasn’t about the lyrics or Doyoung’s contribution—it was the way everything was falling into place, just not how he envisioned.
“Do you think we can perform it anytime soon?” Jaehyun asked, trying to shake off the lingering frustration.
“Yeah, it’s good enough. I’ll make one last adjustment tonight.”
As they approached the counter to place their order, Jaehyun's eyes immediately narrowed when he saw Yeri standing behind the cashier. His stomach tightened. He knew Yeri from the future, someone who had stirred complications between him and Y/N, but in this timeline, she wasn’t a problem—yet.
"Oh, hi Yeri", Ten grinned widely.
“Hey, Ten! What can I get you guys?” she asked cheerfully, her smile genuine.
Jaehyun stayed quiet, only nodding, trying not to let his irritation show. He didn’t want to make a scene, especially when Ten enjoyed her company. After placing their orders, they found a quiet table and started conversing about their day. Jaehyun tried to focus on the music, but he couldn’t help but feel uneasy. He wanted to tell Ten so much about the time travel. Though it will only seem like a mad person. Just as their conversation picked up, Yeri suddenly approached their table.
"I have some good news for you guys," Yeri began, excitement clear in her voice.
"The owner's been looking for a band to perform at the café this weekend, and I suggested your band. He’s really interested. So, what do you think? Sound good?"
Ten’s eyes lit up immediately. “That’s perfect! Jaehyun, what do you think?”
Jaehyun glanced at Yeri, still feeling a bit uneasy, but Ten’s excitement was contagious. He forced a smile and nodded.
“Yeah, let’s do it.”
--
Yeri, Ten, and Jaehyun continued chatting about the upcoming gig, Yeri still buzzing with excitement while Ten and Jaehyun discussed the final touches for their performance. The café was warm with the soft hum of conversations and the smell of fresh coffee.
The door swung open just then, and you walked in with your friend, Jimin, after your evening class. You were mid-conversation, talking about the class, unaware of the trio at the corner table.
"I don't know Jimin, collaborating with Doyoung for the festival might not be a good idea", you remarked.
"Why not? He's a really good leader, even my friend Jeno approves it. He can handle the booth, all you need is to commit until the festival"
"To be honest, I don't think Jaehyun will like that idea", you admitted.
“Are you saying you’re scared of hurting your boyfriend’s feelings?”
“Hm, yes. His jealousy can be a bit... intense,” you opened up to Jimin.
"You mean, that Jaehyun?", she said, pointing toward the corner of the café. Your eyes followed her gesture, and your heart skipped a beat.
"Oh gosh, now I'm jealous", you thought to yourself.
Jaehyun, distracted by the conversation, didn’t notice you at first. But as you walked closer, his eyes instinctively found yours. Jimin, sensing the tension, nudged you forward, convinced that you should confront the situation. She clearly didn’t like seeing Jaehyun sitting with Yeri and thought it might hurt you more if left unaddressed.
Yeri, noticing Jaehyun's sudden distraction, glanced over her shoulder and caught sight of you approaching.
"Y/N!", Jaehyun quickly stood up, looking surprised.
He immediately sensed the tension in your expression, and his heart raced. The last thing he wanted was to repeat the mistakes of the past. He was determined to clear things up—something he hadn’t done in the previous timeline.
“Y/N, please listen to me. We were just talking... mostly Ten was doing the talking,” Jaehyun stammered, his nerves getting the best of him. “I was about to call you after class to pick you up—”
He quickly checked his phone to see if he’d missed any messages. “You didn’t text me... but I was going to call.”
"Jaehyun, please sit down. It's okay, really. I’m just here with Jimin. You should enjoy your time with your friends", reaching out for his arms, trying to ease his anxiety.
Jimin, clearly unimpressed, cleared her throat and rolled her eyes in Yeri’s direction. To avoid further awkwardness, you spoke up again, your shyness showing in your voice.
“I just wanted to stop by and say hi,” you said, making brief eye contact with Ten and Yeri. “Enjoy your coffee. Let’s go, Jimin.”
As you and Jimin made your way to the counter to order, you couldn’t help but glance back at Jaehyun. Your eyes met briefly, and despite the tension, a small smile flickered across your lips.
You and Jimin settled at a small table near the window, the warm glow of the café lights casting a comforting ambiance around you. As you sipped your coffee, Jimin leaned in, still buzzing from the earlier encounter.
"I can't believe we walked in on that," she whispered, glancing over her shoulder toward Jaehyun, Yeri, and Ten. "It was like a scene from a drama."
You chuckled, shaking your head. "It’s fine, Jimin. They’re just planning their performance. I trust Jaehyun," you said, though a small knot of discomfort lingered in your chest.
Jimin raised an eyebrow, unconvinced. "Yeah, but did you see the way Yeri was smiling at him? She’s definitely curious about you."
You shifted in your seat, casting a quick glance back at Jaehyun's table. Yeri was leaning in toward him, her expression inquisitive as she chatted with both him and Ten. You knew Jimin was probably right, but you didn't want to dwell on it. Instead, you steered the conversation back to lighter topics, focusing on the upcoming festival plans and your group project. However, the occasional glance toward Jaehyun’s table revealed that things weren’t as relaxed over there.
Meanwhile, at Jaehyun’s table, Yeri’s curiosity was bubbling over. She had noticed the shift in Jaehyun’s manner the moment you walked in, and she wasn’t about to let it slide. Leaning in with a sly smile, she nudged Jaehyun’s arm.
"So, Jaehyun," she began, her voice teasing, "who was that? Your new girlfriend?", Jaehyun’s face flushed slightly, and he avoided Yeri’s eyes, suddenly feeling flustered.
"Uh, that’s Y/N," he mumbled, trying to keep his voice casual, though he couldn’t hide the affection that seeped into his tone.
"Y/N, huh?" Yeri grinned knowingly, exchanging a look with Ten, who was quietly sipping his coffee but clearly amused by the situation. "She’s cute. I thought there was something going on with the way you jumped up when she came in."
Jaehyun sighed, rubbing the back of his neck, feeling like he was caught. "Yeah, we’ve been seeing each other for a while now."
Ten smirked, adding, "Don’t be shy, Jaehyun. You’re usually so smooth. What’s got you so nervous?"
Yeri leaned back in her chair, clearly entertained by Jaehyun’s awkwardness. "You should’ve introduced us properly," she teased. "Now I’m dying to know more about her."
Jaehyun chuckled awkwardly, glancing at you again across the room, where you and Jimin were engaged in conversation. His heart warmed at the sight of you, even though he felt the pressure from Yeri’s teasing.
"Maybe next time," he replied, trying to play it cool.
But Yeri wasn’t about to let it go that easily. She smirked, leaning in once more.
"Sure, but you know, you owe me a proper introduction. She seems important to you."
Jaehyun’s lips curved into a soft smile. "Yeah... she is."
That night, as you and Jimin prepared to leave the café and head back to the dormitory, Jaehyun quickly stood up from his seat, making his way over to you.
“Let me walk you back,” he insisted, his eyes soft but filled with determination.
He glanced at Jimin briefly before turning his attention back to you. You gave him a gentle smile, appreciating his offer but shaking your head.
"It’s okay, Jaehyun. I want to spend some time with Jimin tonight. We have some things to catch up on."
Jaehyun’s brows furrowed slightly, clearly reluctant.
"Are you sure?" he asked, his voice low as if hoping you might change your mind.
You nodded, reaching out to lightly squeeze his hand. "I’ll be fine, I promise. I’ll see you tomorrow."
Still, he didn’t let go of your hand immediately, holding onto it for a moment longer.
"Alright," he finally sighed, though it was clear he wasn’t entirely convinced. "I’ll make it up to you. Tomorrow, we’ll do something special."
A small laugh escaped you as you let go of his hand. "You don’t have to make it up to me, Jaehyun. Just get some rest tonight, okay?"
With one last reluctant glance, Jaehyun nodded.
"Okay," he agreed softly, but his eyes followed you as you and Jimin exited the café, disappearing into the cool evening air.
Jimin, of course, didn’t let the moment pass unnoticed. As the two of you strolled toward the dorms, she teased you with a smirk.
"You’ve got him wrapped around your finger, huh?"
You chuckled, shaking your head. "It’s not like that. He just worries sometimes."
Jimin laughed. "Yeah, well, I’d be worried too if I had to compete with you wanting to hang out with me."
You rolled your eyes but smiled, your thoughts lingering on Jaehyun’s promise as you and Jimin continued walking under the night sky.
--
A few weeks passed, and the days blurred together as Jaehyun, Ten, and Doyoung poured themselves into rehearsals for the gig. Their dedication was admirable, but it left little time for anything else. You had grown accustomed to their late-night practices at the club, often only stopping by to knock on the door just to say goodbye before heading to the dorm.
Jaehyun, in his focus on the performance, had gradually let the memory of time travel slip to the back of his mind, consumed by the present.
But one night, just before the big performance, Jaehyun insisted on spending time with you. He texted you, asking if you could meet him at the club before practice started, and though you knew how busy he was, you agreed.
When you arrived, the club was quiet, an unusual calm settling over the usually bustling space. Jaehyun was sitting on the sofa, one earphone in, waiting for you. As you walked in, he looked up with a soft smile—oh, how much he missed you.
“Come here,” he said, patting the seat next to him. “I want you to hear something.”
You sat down beside him, and he gently handed you the other earphones, getting ready to play the song.
"I’ve been meaning to share this with you. It’s special, and before we perform it for everyone else, I wanted you to hear it first."
You smiled, sensing the significance of the moment as the music began to play. The melody was hauntingly beautiful, filled with raw emotion that pulled you in immediately. As the song progressed, you could feel Jaehyun’s heart poured into every note, every lyric. It wasn’t just a song—it was a reflection of everything he had been holding inside.
When it ended, he looked at you with anticipation, his heart in his eyes.
"So, what do you think?"
Your chest tightened, overwhelmed by the beauty of the song and the intimacy of the moment. You laid your head on his shoulder.
"It’s sad, but… perfect, Jaehyun. Really."
He let out a small, relieved laugh, resting his head against yours.
"I wrote it with you in mind," he admitted softly. "I wanted to create something that captures what we’ve been through, even if it’s just a glimpse of what I feel."
Your heart swelled at his words. You knew this song wasn’t just a performance—it was him sharing a piece of himself with you, something deeply personal before anyone else could hear it. Without realizing it, he gently laid his head in your lap.
"Y/N, let me take a nap for a bit," he murmured.
You knew how hard they had worked, the sleepless nights they spent preparing for this moment, so you simply smiled and let him rest. The two of you stayed like that for a while longer, enjoying the quiet closeness as the night stretched on, the upcoming performance momentarily forgotten.
--
You and Jimin headed to the café, eagerly waiting for Jaehyun’s gig. The atmosphere filled with excitement, the crowd chattering while you found a table near the stage. Jimin was just as excited as you, if not more. She’d invited a few friends too—Jeno and Jaemin, who arrived not long after you did.
"They’re going to kill it tonight. I can feel it!", Jimin said with a grin, nudging you as she sipped her coffee.
You nodded, feeling both nervous and proud for Jaehyun, Ten, and Doyoung. As they took the stage, the café quieted, all eyes on the trio. The lights dimmed, and the first chords of their song filled the room. Jaehyun stood at the center, his gaze scanning the crowd until it landed on you. He gave a small, subtle smile before focusing back on the performance.
From the first note to the last, they nailed every part of the gig. Jaehyun’s voice was rich with emotion, Ten’s melodies carried the songs effortlessly, and Doyoung’s harmonies added a powerful depth. The crowd was captivated, and you couldn’t have been more proud. Jeno and Jaemin were cheering loudly, while Jimin was clapping along, completely caught up in the performance.
By the time the last song ended, the café erupted in applause, and Jaehyun’s eyes sought yours again. You gave him a beaming smile, knowing how much this moment meant to him.
Later that night, after all the congratulations and farewells, Jaehyun insisted on taking you somewhere special. The two of you walked in the quiet evening. You strolled together until you reached the park, the same place where Jaehyun had once time-travelled—though, at the moment, that fact was entirely forgotten by him.
The fountain trickled softly, and the night felt calm and serene. Jaehyun sat down beside you on a bench, his hand reaching for yours as he sighed contentedly.
"I’m so glad you were there tonight," he said, his voice low and warm. "It meant everything to me."
"I wouldn’t have missed it for the world," you replied, leaning against him.
For a moment, the two of you sat in silence, enjoying the stillness of the night. As you admired the fountain's shimmering waters, Jaehyun’s gaze suddenly shifted. His eyes widened, and he squinted into the distance, recognizing a familiar figure.
"Wait here," he said, his tone suddenly serious.
Before you could respond, he took off in the direction of an old man standing a short distance away, gazing at the fountain.
“Hey! Excuse me!” Jaehyun called out, breathless from running. The old man turned slowly, his face illuminated by the moonlight.
“Do you remember me? You told me about the power of music... and things like that," Jaehyun asked, his voice filled with a sense of desperation. The old man studied Jaehyun for a moment before nodding slowly.
“Ah, yes. I see you’ve made it this far.”
Jaehyun’s heart raced as he realized the weight of his wishes.
“I need to understand more. What is happening to me? How long will I be here? I want to be here, please.”
The old man’s expression softened, but there was a hint of sadness in his eyes.
"Every choice has consequences. The memories you hold dear shape who you are. Exchange a good memory with another good memory," he muttered, as if lost in thought.
Jaehyun felt a surge of panic.
"What did you mean? I've already traveled through time. What more do I need to do?"
The old man regarded Jaehyun with a knowing smile, his eyes twinkling with wisdom beyond his years.
"Time travel is a delicate balance, my boy. Every action has a consequence, and every memory holds weight," he replied cryptically.
As the old man’s words sank in, Jaehyun began to realize the price of his journey through time. To maintain the balance, a sacrifice would have to be made. Just then, you approached, curiosity flickering in your eyes.
“Jaehyun, who is this?” you asked, sensing the tension. He hesitated, glancing between you and the old man.
“He… he’s someone I met before. He knows things.” Then, a dawning realization crept over Jaehyun. "Wait... you can see him?"
Tears welled up in your eyes, a hint of fear behind them.
"Yes. Jaehyun, I time-traveled with you," you confessed, your voice trembling.
"What?" Jaehyun's mind raced with disbelief.
"I was confused too at first," you continued, "but I realized it when you knew I’d be jealous of Yeri, even before I admitted it."
Jaehyun's breath hitched, tears filling his own eyes. His heart ached, but clarity struck him as he realized he had to act fast. There were other memories to trade—ones that wouldn’t cost him you.
Turning back to the old man, Jaehyun shakily pulled out a small guitar pick that Ten had given him. His fingers trembled as he held it up.
"I'll..." he began, his voice breaking as sobs escaped him, "I'll trade this. Just please… let him remember the song."
With a heavy heart, Jaehyun made the difficult decision to let go of the memories of producing songs with Ten. It tore him apart, but he knew the memories with you were far too precious to risk. He couldn’t afford to lose how far the two of you had come.
The old man studied the guitar pick, nodding solemnly.
"You have chosen wisely, my boy," he said with a reverent tone. But then his expression darkened slightly as he added, "Nothing is perfect. You cannot fix everything. But what is meant for you will find its way back."
Tears streamed down Jaehyun's face as the weight of his decision settled in. He understood now. Some things would always come at a cost, but he was willing to make that sacrifice to keep what mattered most.
"I understand," he whispered, his voice steadier now, though his heart still ached from what he had to lose.
Then, the old man turned toward you, his gaze softening as he saw the tears streaming down your face. You cried harder than ever, and deep down, you knew why.
Jaehyun, still caught up in his own emotions, looked at you with confusion, unable to understand the depth of your sorrow. He furrowed his brow, stepping closer, but before he could say anything, the old man spoke—his voice low, but filled with a quiet understanding.
"You," he addressed you directly, "you had only one precious memory."
Your heart clenched as you tried to stifle your sobs. Jaehyun’s eyes widened as he turned toward the old man, panic rising in his chest. What did he mean? What precious memory?
The old man continued, his eyes never leaving yours. "And that memory," he paused, "was of Jaehyun."
Jaehyun’s face paled. His breath caught in his throat as realization began to sink in. You had time-travelled too, just like him, and to fix the past, to make things right, you had sacrificed the one memory that meant the most to you—him.
"No... no, that can't be," Jaehyun whispered, shaking his head as if trying to shake off the truth. "Why didn’t you tell me?" His voice broke, his confusion now turning into desperation.
You wiped your tears, your lip trembling. “I… I didn’t want you to know. It was the only way to make sure you were happy.”
Jaehyun’s heart shattered as the weight of your sacrifice hit him. You had traded your memory of him—the very essence of everything you had together—just so he could have a second chance. He felt like the ground had been ripped out from beneath him. He tried to speak but the words wouldn’t come.
The old man watched silently, his eyes full of an ancient sadness, knowing the price of love and sacrifice better than anyone.
Jaehyun, overwhelmed with guilt and heartbreak, grabbed your hand, gripping it tightly as if holding on would make it all better.
“But… you’re my everything. You can’t just forget us—forget me.”
You closed your eyes, the tears still flowing.
"I had no choice, Jaehyun. You were my happy memory."
At that moment, Jaehyun felt utterly powerless. You had sacrificed everything for him, and now he was losing the one thing that had made this journey through time worth it. He couldn't imagine a life where you didn’t remember him, where everything you’d built together had been wiped away.
Jaehyun fell to his knees, still clutching your hand, trying to stop the inevitable.
“Please… there has to be another way.”
But deep down, he knew. You were about to forget him.
The old man said nothing, his expression a mix of understanding and sorrow. As he watched you both, the air around you began to shift, and the memories you cherished started to fade like wisps of smoke, dissolving into the night.
Jaehyun felt the world around him blurring. The laughter you shared, the moments of intimacy, the quiet evenings spent together—all began to slip away, replaced by an overwhelming emptiness. He embraces you tighter, desperate to hold on to you, to the memories you had created.
“No! Please, not like this!” he cried, his voice cracking. But his pleas echoed into silence, the weight of the old man’s words sinking in deeper.
“Y/N,” Jaehyun cupped your face, tears streaming down his cheeks.
You held his hand against your cheeks, staring deeply into his eyes.
"It's okay, Jaehyun. It's going to be okay," you said, giving him one last smile.
"You’ll be okay," you muttered softly.
He cried endlessly, holding you tightly. As the last flicker of your shared memories faded, you felt an overwhelming sense of loss. The love that had once filled your heart was now replaced with a hollow ache. You looked into Jaehyun’s eyes, seeing the pain reflected there, and at that moment, something deep within you whispered that you would always carry a piece of him, even if you couldn’t remember why.
"Y/N, it's me. Jaehyun. Jaehyun ah," he said, taking your hand and placing it on his cheek, searching for recognition in your eyes.
The old man remained a silent witness to the sacrifices made in the name of love. As the memories faded into oblivion, Jaehyun and you were left standing in the void, grasping for something that was slipping away.
And then, just as suddenly, everything went dark.
--
The night was dark, the quiet sinking in as you strolled through the park, seeking respite from the bustling city. Finding a nearby bench, you settled in, closing your eyes to immerse yourself in the surrounding sounds, a tranquil backdrop to your thoughts.
Just as you began to lose yourself in the moment, a soft melody captured your attention, drifting from a nearby café. Intrigued, you followed its enchanting strains until you arrived at a small, dimly lit venue where a talented musician held sway. His voice, akin to honey, wove stories with each note, captivating all who listened.
As the performer sang, you were entranced by the lyrics and the emotions they evoked. The song spoke of longing and desire, resonating deeply within your soul. Entering the café, you took a seat, utterly spellbound by the performance.
"Would you like to order?" the waiter asked, breaking the spell with a smile.
"No, thank you," you replied, shaking your head, though he chuckled in response.
"It's on the house tonight. Are you sure?"
He persisted as you relented, curiosity piqued by the gesture. You shifted your gaze to him, glancing at his name tag.
Jaehyun.
"Alright then, Jaehyun",you said, those words striking him with unexpected emotion.
"I'll have a peach tea," you continued.
As Jaehyun fetched your drink, tears threatened to spill from his eyes. He quickly wiped them away before he could sense it. You sensed the song nearing its end and halted him before he left.
"Sorry, but could you tell me the name of this song?"
"Sure, it's 'Lie With You.' The performer wrote it himself."
"It's a beautiful song."
"Yes, it truly is," he agreed, reminiscing about his time with you.

Please Steter with werefox Stiles and alive Hale family? Also i love your little drabbles, they are charming🧡🧡🧡
Thanks so much! 🧡
My brain decided that in this version of reality, Peter also has a full shift. 😀
-
Peter darted through the underbrush, following the fox’s scent. A slight rustle warned him just in time and he dodged to the side, the fox’s sneak attack narrowly missing. The fox leaped away, yipping in amusement, and Peter lunged after him. He wasn’t running all that hard, and Peter soon bowled the two of them over into a play-fight, tussling for a few minutes before the fox wiggled free again. It was getting to be that time, so Peter wasn’t really surprised when the fox gave a low, regretful whine. Peter responded with a bark and a quick nuzzle, and then the fox was off into the depths of the forest.
Heading home, Peter barely made it a dozen strides before Talia melted out of the trees. Damn it. He ignored her and she fell in next to him, the two of them trotting through the late afternoon forest. It might have been nice, if not for the questions Peter knew were coming.
Peter shifted in the house’s mudroom and pulled on a robe. “I don’t want to talk about it,” he said.
“Peter,” Talia said, tying her own robe shut. “Did you think I’d be upset? I don’t care that he’s not a wolf, or that I didn’t find him for you, or that this could complicate future pack negotiations, or whatever else you came up with to convince yourself you had to keep him secret. I want you to be happy.”
“It’s not any of that,” Peter sighed. “He’s… he’s Cora’s age.”
Talia blinked. “Cora’s twenty.”
Peter looked away. “Exactly.”
Talia took Peter’s arm and turned him towards her. “Peter. Cora is twenty. I know you think of the younger pack members as needing protection—you’ve had a lot of practice at that—but she’s an adult now, not a child. So is that young man. Granted, his family will probably have concerns they wouldn’t have if you were closer to his age, but that doesn’t mean it’s impossible, just complicated.”
Peter felt a moment of gratitude that Talia was his alpha. “You really think I could court him? Properly?”
“I really do.” Talia linked her arm with Peter’s and drew him into the house. “Now. Tell me all about this fox of yours.”

Summary: A pie isn't the only thing that gets filled. 18+.
Authors Note: Happy first day of fall, y'all.
Drew McIntyre Masterlist
Taglist: @theworldofotps @smallestsnarkestgirl @keytothewardy @magicalbuttertarts @new-zealand-chic
Drew stopped in his tracks the moment he saw Y/N in the kitchen. The flannel he wore the night before covered her top. Short pajama bottoms barely covered her ass. The woman was trying to kill him. He just knew it.
"Morning," Drew greeted. He walked towards her. A bowl of pie filling laid before her. He moved her hair to the other side and kissed her neck. A shiver ran down her spine.
"Good morning, yourself," she hummed. His hands slid underneath the flannel shirt. Rough hands tickled her soft skin.
"I have got to say. The shirt looks a lot better on you than me," he commented. Y/N felt the shirt raise higher. The Scottish devil was trying to get a repeat of last night.
"And it will be staying on me," she informed him. Y/N swatted his hands away. He pouted yet pulled away from her. She turned around and sat on the kitchen counter. "Can you hand me a spoon, please? I want to try some to see if I need to add anything?"
Drew grabbed a wooden spoon. He scooped some of the filling in the spoon. The wrestler moved to serve her. She opened her mouth early to taste the sweet treat. Accidentally, as Drew insisted, some of the cool filling fell down on her chest.
She gasped and looked down. "Can I have a napkin, please?"
Drew had another idea.
He gripped the flannel shirt and ripped it open. She squeaked as her chest was now exposed to him. When she didn't hide herself, he leaned down and licked the filling slowly. His skilled tongue licked lower to her nipple. He sucked her nipple. Teeth grazed over the sensitive peak.
"Drew," she moaned. She clenched her legs. The tingling between her legs was a direct reaction from his teasing. He started to kiss up her chest and to her neck. His hand gripped her neck. His lips teased the shell of her ear.
"You cost me my flannel. I feel like this warrants a punishment. Bend over the counter and don't make me repeat myself,"
Drew took a step back. She slid off the counter. The wooden spoon fiddled in his fingers. He wanted her to know his instrument of the punishment. Timidly, she turned around and bent over. Her open palms and bare chest pressed against the cool countertop. Her face turned to the side in order to count.
His hands rubbed up her inner thighs. Her legs parted wider as his hands explored higher. The spot between her legs tingled more for him. He was so close to touching her, but he pulled away. She knew better than to show any signs of disapproval. It would just add to the punishment.
His fingers found their way to her shorts waistband and panties. With bent fingers, little effort was used to slide them down her legs. They pooled at her bare feet. She knew better than to kick them away.
"Maybe now you will learn to ask for permission to borrow my clothes. I expect to see you in that flannel for the rest of the day," he told her. She nodded and blushed darkly. His hands found their way on her bare ass.
He kneaded into her flesh. The massage started to calm her nerves. She visibly relaxed. His distraction worked in his favor. The wooden spoon struck her right cheek. She gasped and bit her lip. The wooden spoon left a red line and a nice sting.
"One,"
Drew smiled at the count. She was such a good girl for him. Well, when she wanted to be. He paced each smack of the wooden spoon. Some were in quick succession while others were spaced apart. Drew didn't want her to expect the spanks. Nonetheless, she counted each one to his liking.
"This hurt me more than it hurt you," he attempted to assure her. Drew placed the spoon down in front of her face. This is a reminder of what was to come if she disobeyed. His hands rubbed her bare ass once more. A hiss fell out of Y/N. She wanted to move from his touch. Her breath sucked in when his hands explored lower.
His middle finger slid ever so slowly between her slit. His hand rubbed up and down. Another finger, his ring finger, joined in the teasing. He spread her lips apart before allowing them to close several times. Her juices covered his fingers.
"Hands behind your back," he ordered. A soft slap to her bottom to show the urgency in following his simple order. No hesitation when the message was read loud and clear. Her wrists lay on top of one another on her back.
The same two fingers toyed with her once more. This time, they found their way to her entrance. He teased her. Only allowing up to his fingernails inside of her. Her walls clenched around them to keep him in. Y/N closed her eyes to keep from getting frustrated. Drew loved when she was patient.
With no warning, his fingers slid inside of her. She sighed in relief. Her walls clamped down around his fingers. Drew thrusted his fingers in and out. Her hips pushed back against him as if to allow him to go deeper. He showed mercy this time. Her actions went on without risk of punishment.
Her breathy moans started to pick up. No matter the situation, her body craved his touch. Drew curled his fingers. A whine of his name filled the cabin kitchen.
"Oh, Drew,"
Satisfied, he removed his fingers. Y/N caught her breath. Her eyes fluttered closed as she waited for his next plan. Unable to see him, the rustling of the clothes was the only indicator of what was to come. His jeans were kicked away once they pulled around his feet.
The Scotsman rubbed her hips and outer thighs. The tender moment cut short when he placed her bent leg on the countertop. He reveled at the sight of her. She was so exposed to him. All for him.
Drew wasted little time. She jerked slightly when he pushed himself inside of her. Her eyes opened. Their breathing picked up. He went slow. This was a punishment for her, after all. He allowed himself in a little at a time before pulling out. An amused smirk on his handsome face. Y/N was frustrated yet didn't dare to say anything.
Showing mercy, he thrusted all the way in. His pelvis smacked against her ass. He repeated this a few times before picking up the pace. With her hands still behind her back, he gripped her wrists in his hand. His other hand was placed on the counter behind her head for better leverage.
Her body clamped around him the moment he picked up his pace. He swore he saw her eyes roll to the back of her head. She swore she saw stars. When he thrusted forward, Drew pulled her towards him. With her leg propped up, she swore he reached places no man had before.
"My good little baker. Baking a pie for our friends for later. If only they could see you now," he chuckled. Her mouth hung open, eyes rolled, toes curled, and a thin sheet of sweat covered her body. She nodded. His words sounded so far away.
"So close," she warned.
"I've got you, love," he assured her.
Drew's eyes roamed over her body again. When she first suggested a cabin for the weekend, he was a little perplexed. After last night and this morning, he could see her reasoning. No cell service. No distractions. Just the two of them catching up from his busy work schedule.
He let go of her wrists. She moved them away and rolled them around gently. The position made her a little stiff. His now free hand roamed by rubbing her back, butt, and settling to the bundle of nerves between her legs.
Y/N cursed as her orgasm seemed to come at a much quicker pace. His skilled fingers manipulated her to her peak. His thrusts grew sloppier as time went on.
"Drew!"
With one last cry of his name, Y/N comes on his cock. Her fingernails left crescent moon indents in her palns. He thrusted himself fully one last time and stilled. His cum filling inside of her. Never allowing himself to finish first, he placed both his hands on the counter.
Her legs shook under her. She would be on the floor if it wasn't for the countertop and Drew. When ready, he pulled himself out of her. The tell-tale sign of their dirty deed rolls down her thighs. He grabbed a kitchen towel and wiped away the evidence.
With a secure arm around her waist, he helps her off the counter. Her body is sore from the position, but she is satisfied. Her bare back pressed to his bare chest. He whispers sweet nothings in her ear. Soft, gentle kisses left on her cheek.
He spun her around and sat her on the countertop. Their foreheads pressed together. Drew is still trying to gather enough strength to take them to the bathroom to bathe. He kissed her gently. His fingers ran through her hair before nestling any loose strands behind her ear.
When enough time passed, he scooped her up in his arms. Her arms wrapped around his neck. Legs were wrapped around his waist. Her head rested on his shoulder. Before drifting off to sleep, she looked at the counter. The bowl of filling left temporarily forgotten on the counter.

Medusa Ghost & Siren Soap. This was the first Ghoap fic i wrote... It has mcd, so be warned. I still like this one, if you love a little sadness too. I'm posting the full fic, putting the ao3 link for you if you like to leave kudos or comments.
Ghost was walking down a hill with a blindfold, blood dripping from a cut on his temple and wetting the black cloth on his eyes. He was trained for situations like this, but the blunt force trauma he got on his head was taking the ground off under his feet. With a stagger, his leg buckled after his last step and he found himself lying on his back on the grass. His breathing was uneven and he most likely had other injuries he couldn't feel because of the adrenaline.
Ghost closed his eyes for a moment, as if his vision wasn't dark before. The next time he opened them, Ghost realized he wasn't on the ground anymore and he had a nice blanket on him. When he noticed he could see properly, Ghost slammed his eyes shut and covered his face with his hand, just to be sure.
Ghost's eyes could literally kill a human. Turn them into stone, into statues. Ghost took the blanket off with his one hand and found his way out touching the walls. He was in a cave, Ghost was sure. The sound of his footsteps were echoing inside and the walls were curvy. And he was alone in there, but knowing there was someone strong enough to carry him, Ghost couldn't take a chance to lie motionless. And he didn't want to turn whoever the helping hand was into stone before at least nod a thank you in their way.
It took Ghost some time to adjust his eyes to the sun but the gentle breeze made him feel better. Then he heard a hum. A song. Ghost felt his muscles tense. The tiny voice in his head that told him to stop was silenced in a second, and Ghost found himself walking towards the source of the humming. He wasn't exactly aware of anything happening, like his logic was prisoned behind bars made of emotions. Sadness. Lust. Submission.
When Ghost came to it again and his mind was let free, he was sitting across someone with forest green wings and the same color, shimmering fish-tail. A siren.
Ghost's eyes were wide open, he knew creatures were real, myths were true and he was a walking proof of it being a Medusa. But it was his first time seeing one. The rumors has it that the sirens would lure the poor men into the sea to drown and eat them, and not one of it told that the sirens were actually beautiful. Ghost was so taken aback that he didn't realize his eyes were uncovered.
"You might wanna close them quick cause I can't sit here like a statue so long with my eyes closed. No pun intended."
Ghost squeezed his eyes shut without thinking. The siren's voice was powerful even though he was only talking. It made Ghost do what he wanted, Ghost knew it was a dangerous thing.
"Stop talking. Answer briefly." Ghost spoke with poison. And the siren answered back just as sweetly. "Yes, sir."
"Why did you take me?"
"Injured."
"Name?"
"Soap."
Ghost scoffed. "Seriously?"
Ghost couldn't see it but he felt Soap rolling his eyes. "What's yours?"
"Ghost." Ghost cuss at himself for answering. He heard Soap returning the mock. "Seriously?"
Ghost didn't back down."Your real name."
"Would you tell your real name to some stranger?"
Ghost talked with certainty. "Simon Riley." Shit. Shit. Shit.
"I didn't expect that. John MacTavish."
Ghost didn't expect that either. His whole life, he answered back to his superiors. No second thoughts. Even if he did have them, he did the questioning part to himself in silence. And now it was ruining his life. "Tell this to anyone and I'm slitting your throat."
Ghost waited for a minute to hear something back from Soap but it was all silence. He peeked behind his fingers to see if he was still there. Soap's head was turned to the sun and his eyes were closed as if he was there to sunbathe. "Still here. No talking."
Ghost was stunned. "Why? Shortly."
He heard Soap sigh. "I don't want to give orders unknowingly. It makes people uncomfortable."
Ghost checked in his brain and found no pressing feeling to give an answer. It made him feel sympathetic towards the siren. He was the one who turned people into stones without warning. He was the one who had to put a blindfold and learn to fight in darkness just so he could use his powers to kill his enemies and not his fellow soldiers when he wasn't paying attention. Ghost understood him. And to his surprise, Ghost didn't gut Soap out for manipulating him and instead he just thanked the man. He heard Soap sighed. "You have a nasty stab wound on your right side. Be careful sleeping." And Ghost knew that he was gonna be. And he knew he was gonna actually sleep, against his will. "Stop this. You're manipulating me."
"I don't want to." Soap's voice was sad and Ghost hated to be that person but Soap was making him do things he didn't want to. "I don't care. Stop talking."
𝘚𝘵𝘰𝘱 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨. 𝘚𝘵𝘰𝘱 𝘴𝘦𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨. 𝘊𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘦𝘺𝘦𝘴.
Ghost went back to the cave and left Soap sitting on a rock and looking like he was out from an old painting of sirens. It was an unreal sight. The setting sun reflecting from the scales of his tail and broad wings casting shadows down the ground.
Dangerous. Ethereal.
He lied down on his left side and closed his eyes again. The stab wound was throbbing with pain but he was a soldier, it wasn't his first time getting injured on a mission. But against this, he slept through the night for the first time in his life.
Soap stayed at the top of the rock the whole night. He would be making a mess with his voice again if he had any anger or fright in him. A curse he got from his father, a curse he didn't deserve. He was born like this, and Soap was sure he didn't ask God to make him this way before his soul was sent down to the earth.
Bound to water. Bound to die alone.
Bound to be killed by someone with an earplug, whose relative he drowned when he was younger. Maybe with a knife to his heart or a gun to his head. Because he was aware of his sins, against his late mother's "it's not a sin if you didn't know you committed" sayings. Soap carried deaths on his shoulders when he didn't leave shore which no one came. His voice carried the bullet to the wast oceans.
A sniper.
Soap didn't talk again. And Ghost didn't open his eyes but neither of them leave. It would be easier if Ghost left. Ghost knew it. But he didn't. He couldn't, for some unknown reason. And Soap knew he could enchant Ghost to go away. To go back. But with an unspoken joint decision, they stayed. Soap would tap on Ghost's shoulder to indicate something, instead of using his voice. And with a blindfold, Ghost would touch to feel. Mostly the objects, sometimes Soap's fingers when he was handing the object. They went like that for some time. Ghost wasn't talking too much too, he wasnt a man of many words to start with but sometimes he felt the need to fill the silence. He told stories of his battles. The war he was fighting. He fought. His family. His dad and even a hint of what he done. The Roba, very briefly, just with a name. His wounds. His eyes.
Soap was always listening. Even though Ghost never saw it. But when Ghost was sleeping and nightmares came to haunt him, Soap would ease his worries with a whisper. And when Soap was sleeping, Ghost would watch him silently. He saw a face with half open lips to snore lightly, and closed eyes. But he assumed Soap's eyes were blue. He was a sea creature, of course his eyes were blue. And he wanted to see them up close. Ghost didn't really consider his own eyes as curse, never really hated them because it was how he managed to escape his dad. His old house was like a Britih museum when he left. But now, not be able to look at Soap's eyes was eating him alive.
"What color are your eyes?" Ghost heard his voice as a whisper but knew Soap heard and was looking at him. He didn't have an answer. Or rather, didn't answer.
"You can talk." Soap took a sharp breath. He wasn't talking for so long, his voice was hoarse and his throat hurt when spoke. "Blue."
Ghost knew it. He couldn't hold himself back from a tiny smile. A little tug of the corner of his lip. Soap saw it but didn't comment on it.
"What's yours?"
"Guess."
Soap didn't make a sound. Ghost found it odd first but then relaxed instantly. Happily, to his surprise. "I didn’t reply right away."
Ghost heard Soap's footsteps approaching. "Put some authority in your voice. Order me something."
Ghost didn't see it but Soap was biting on his lip. "Give me that knife on your west."
"In your dreams."
"Shit."
"Is that possible?"
Soap's voice was still hoarse but Ghost suspected it was because he was holding back tears. There was something broken behind it. "Mom always told me if I spend enough time with someone, my voice would lose its effect. I never stayed with someone. I didn't know."
Ghost didn't know whether to cry or laugh.
"Two fish in a tank..." Soap cut him with a frown. "What?"
"Well, if you tell me to shut up after this and I won't, we can be sure."
Soap burst in laugh at that and Ghost swore he was enchanted. It was Ghost's first time to make someone laugh. Soap saw the change on Ghost's face. "What?"
"I usually make people scream in fright and make them sob. This is new."
"And this is dark. I'm happy that I can finally talk and laugh without worrying if someone dropped dead."
"This is not dark?"
"Let's say we're colorblind."
Ghost smiled at that. He loved to hear Soap's laugh. Maybe it was the final stage of siren-manipulation before death and he woke up on the otherside after Soap gnawed him to his bones but he didn't care. Ghost was happy there. With or without talking or seeing. He was actually happy.
But it didn't take long. It never took long.
The relationship between them was different now. Ghost loved to hear Soap's laugh so he was making jokes sometimes. And he didn't know, but Soap was watching his face's every move to catch every little detail. Tugging of his lip because of an old and healed cut, nose scrunch.
Soap adored the nose scrunch.
But it all shattered down when heavy footsteps fall on the ground, yellings coming from the top of the hills. The hills Ghost came from.
His past caught up to him once again. Ghost screamed at Soap to get into water. It was the safest for him. And for Ghost. He knew he couldn't fight when his mind was on Soap and if he was dead or alive. Soap obeyed and disappeared under water. Ghost squatted behind the entry of the cave with his old weapon. A voice he didn't recognize called to him.
"Ghost! I know you're here. Come with us if you want to live." They didn't threaten him with Soap. Most likely they didn't know about him. Good. "Identify yourself!" Ghost's gun was ready, the safety was off.
"You don't know your owner? You don't know who made you?" It made Ghost froze on the spot. His last mission was against Roba's remnants. But he made sure every one of them was dead before leaving there.
"There's always someone left of us, Ghost. You're one of us." Ghost turned his head to the water. He didn't see but he could feel Soap's presence. Ghost turned back and unfold the fabric from his eyes. That shore was gonna turn into a garden gnome store soon.
After that it was all about blood and stone. If his knife and gun couldn't reach, his eyes could. Ghost left a bloody mess behind, but the owners of the blood on the ground were nowhere to be seen. If you didn't count the statues that can't bleed. Who was gonna say otherwise?
Ghost walked to the sea with closed eyes. He heard a splatter. Soap's head was above water and he could see the ground. He took a look at the mess and turned to Ghost. "You okay?" Ghost nodded. He was fine. It wasn't a different day. If anything, his time with Soap was different from the usual. The calm was not for him. He got used to it in his time at there. But now, when everything was unusually calm, panic squeezed his heart. Everything went silent for a second and Ghost instantly knew something was wrong.
"Soap?" Then he heard wings and felt the wind coming from them. Before he could say anything, he heard Soap's scream.
The next thing Ghost knew, he was on his back like the first day Soap found him but half of his body was under water now. Ghost got up and ran back to the ground with his eyes closed. Soap's scream was cut in half after a shooting sound with a grunt. Ghost knew what he was gonna see.
"Soap!" Ghost's hands found the one Roba that hadn't die yet and snapped his neck like a stick. His hands found Soap next. He knew blood. He was born in it. Bathe in it. Ghost knew what blood felt like under his hands, tip of his fingers, on his palms.
"Soap?" Nothing. Soap's heart was beating like a bird's wings under his hand.
"Johnny!"
"What a lovely way to wake up." Ghost heard him whisper. He found the wound. Soap was shot on the chest. Ghost's hands were shaking so much that he couldn't press on the wound.
"Just breath. Breath and I will wake you up like that for the rest of your life."
Ghost lifted his head and looked around frantically. He had to find a way to stop the bleeding. He could feel Soap's heart slowing down. He wanted to rip the world open with his bare hands. To punch a hole on the ground and strangle The Demon. To shot down The Angels. To kill God.
Ghost shut his eyes again. "Johnny..."
Soap didn't let him finish. He put his hand on Ghost's. They both knew it wasn't going to happen.
"Ghost. Look at me."
Ghost refused to do so. He wasn't going to.
"Simon."
Simon fought against it with everything.
"Si. Open your eyes. I want them to be the last thing I saw."
A gut wrenching sound escaped Simon's lips. He fought back. God knew he fought back. But Johnny used his last strength to made Simon do what he wanted.
Simon obeyed.
With tears streaming down his face, Simon opened his eyes and Johnny welcomed him with ocean blue eyes. His body started to turn into stone but there was a smile on Johnny's lips. He cupped Simon's face with his hand.
"Oh, I wouldn't guess. Two colors. Pretty. I will never forget them for the rest of my life."
With a last, sad giggle, Johnny turned into stone with a smile. Simon sat on the ground with a smiling and crying statue on his legs. He held the hands of it and touched the face. Tried to wipe the tears away, tried to kiss the lips. Wanted to cover the wound on its chest.
Couldn't do any.
He cried. He wept. He wailed. He bargained with God. Told him to take him instead. Wasn't he the one that was the sinner? The murderer? The killer? Didn't he take the lifes of innocents because his superiors wanted him to? Wasn't he the one that didn't deserve to live?
Then he got up. He took Johnny off the ground. Carried him to the rock Johnny would sit normally. When he was still breathing. A siren who would lure people with his voice.
He put him under the sun and over the ocean. Johnny loved these two, and Simon made sure he could watch them. Then went back to the cave. It was theirs. There wasn't anything to deny. It was his, and their, home. He didn't think about leaving. Simon made it a routine to wake up and sit with Johnny like always.
He knew he didn't deserve to live with all the blood on his hands. Not after Johnny died trying to save him.
He was eager to be punished. If his punishment was to left behind, to be left abandoned with a wish he couldn't dare to make.
He was eager to be punished.
So every morning, Simon sat next to Johnny and he protected Simon from the sun and wind under his wings. He spoke to him, talked about anything and everything he couldn't.
Simon didn't need him to answer.
Just listen.

Strip bowling was exactly what the name said. A game of bowling where you remove an item of clothing if you failed to knock down any pins. It wasn’t difficult to get the hang of, it was difficult for me however to hang on to my clothes. I’d only bowled a few times in my life and on the occasions I had, I was pathetic at the game, but it was for fun then. Now it felt like it was for my dignity.
“Earrings one hundred percent count!” I exclaimed, shoeless, sockless and jumperless. I didn’t know I could be so bad at rolling a semi-weighted ball down an alley.
“No they don’t!” Jameson quipped, wagging his finger at me.
“I’m wearing earrings, like I’m wearing clothes, they count,” I replied stubbornly, unprepared to lose my top or trousers.
“No they don’t,” he shook his head sharply with a dangerous grin on his face.
“You just want me to take my top off,” I snapped, attempting to throw him off.
Colour touched his cheeks, “I want no such thing!”
“Liar,” I smiled mischievously.
“Maybe I am,” he shrugged, our roles reversing. Colour in my cheeks and a smile on his lips. My heart raced as I processed what he said. “But don’t lie,” he continued, “you’ve been trying to throw my game off the whole time so I take mine off.”
“I did no such thing!” I mirrored him, with a face of synthetic shock.
“Liar,” he smirked, his voice so dark I wanted to melt.
I laughed lightly.
“Do that again,” he murmured, gazing into my eyes.
“What?” I blurted out, confusion written all over my face.
“That thing, where you laugh and smile and your eyes light up,” he explained smoothly.
I felt a rising warmth in my face and it wasn’t a fever spiking, “why?”
“Because I like it,” he said, his voice so light, so airy there was almost no sound at all.
I took a step towards him and tilted my head up, our eyes glued together and I was unable to pull away. I could sense his hand nearing my waist and I didn’t tell him to stop. It was only then that I realised how badly I wanted this.
“Jameson I-“
“Hey guys!” Xander’s cheery voice is quick to snap me out of my lovelorn trance, “ooo it’s the new girl.”
“It is,” I coughed, wiping my hand awkwardly on my trousers as I stepped away from Jameson, “nice to see you again,”
“Are you playing strip bowling?” he continued, analysing his surroundings, before turning to Jameson with a rueful expression on his face, “without me? Again! Why am I even here anymore?”
“Sorry Xander,” he shrugged, composed as of two moments before nothing had happened at all between us, “I’ll catch you next time.”
“That’s what you said last time and now look,” he protested, “I mean would it kill you to ask me to play?”
“I said sorry,” Jameson defended arms in the air, as if he’s being arrested.
“It’s like that one scene in Frozen,” Xander sighed, “when baby Elsa shuts baby Anna out, you know the whole ‘do you wanna build a snowman’ sequence.”’
“Jameson how could you!” I gasped.
“Right!” Xander said, looking at me, “I knew I liked you.”
“I’m quite likeable I suppose,” I grinned.
“Tomorrow, three am strip bowling,” Jameson said to Xander, “my treat?”
“Throw in snacks and drink and you’re on,” he grinned, nodding.
“Done,” Jameson nodded, “hey Xand, on the topic of strip bowling, I do have a question for you.”
“Shoot,” he said, with
“Do earrings count in strip bowling?” he asked, shooting a sly smile my way.
I scrunched my nose up at him which only widened his pathetic smile.
“Yes,” Xander responded. My eyes widened and my face lit up. I was unable to form any competent words.
“Ha!” I exclaimed, pointing at Jameson.
“What?” Jameson protested loudly, his face flattened, his smile no more, “since when?”
“Don’t you remember when you pierced your left ear when you were thirteen because you thought it would make you look edgy?” Xander replied, “you wore an earring for 6 months and always insisted it counted in strip bowling!”
“You did what?” I gaped, trying so hard to suppress my giggles.
“Oh shut up,” he snapped at me and rolled his eyes, “thanks Xand.”
“You’re welcome,” he smiled.
“Embarrassing me through childhood stories is Nash’s thing though,” he replied.
“He let me trade for an hour,” Xander shrugged.
“So what’s he doing,” I asked.
“Creating a machine with odd qualities whilst simultaneously consuming several blueberry scones,” he said, “…obviously.”
“I should’ve seen that one coming,” Jameson sighed.
“You should’ve, do you even know your own brothers?” he replied in mock offence.
“Sometimes I don’t know,” he shrugged, “honestly you surprise when even when I think you can’t anymore.”
“Well I’ll see you two lobsters later, my eyebrows growing back to much, I need to singe it off again with something explosive!”
He rushed off before I could even respond. This house was mental, but in the best way possible.
I turned to Jameson confused, “Lobsters?”
“That’s what you’re asking about?” he almost laughed.
“Why lobsters?”
“I don’t know,” he replied, hands crammed into his pockets, green eyes making me hallucinate being in his arms even more.
I waited. I waited for him to pick up where we left off, for his hand to actually grip my waist, for our lips to tingle with each others taste but there was nothing. He did nothing. The silence is the loudest force in the room and it made my heartache.
“You used to wear an earring,” I grinned, changing to subject to heal my sinking heart.
“Let’s revisit the lobster debate,” he replied, turning rosy. It was cute.
“Oh no no no, you are not getting out of this one,” I said with a giggle.
“Where there’s a will there’s a way,” he countered, with a nonchalant shrug.
“So what kind of earring was it, diamond?” I continued, with a smile I knew would probably be annoying him.
“I’m not answering you,” he replied bluntly.
“That’s okay, I’ll just ask Xander, or Nash when they’ve switched back,” I mused.
“They won’t give up that kind of information to a practical stranger,” he scoffed.
“Don’t be so sure, I thought they surprised you every day,” I countered, quoting him.
“You’re annoying,” he scrunched up his nose.
“One of my many many talents,” I shrugged softly.
“Don’t get too cocky,” he warned, with the kind of Hawthorne smirk that was to die for.
I raised my eyebrows, “says the king of cockiness.”
“You’ve known me less than a day,” he deadpanned.
“My inference skills are also incredible,” I winked.
He laughed a little, “what should we do now then?”
“I don’t know, find something else to do?” I said.
“You don’t want to carry on with strip bowling?” he replied
“There won’t be much to strip in a minute,” I scoffed, gesturing to my limited clothing.
“That’s part of the game,” he replied, shooting me a lopsided grin.
“You’ve known me for less than a day,” I mocked.
Jameson glared at me playfully, “don’t quote me.”
“But it’s fun,” I whined, pouting slightly.
“You’re annoying,” he replied, messing up my hair.
“Another one of my many perks!” I responded, ducking under his arm whilst slapping him away.
“How about a game of poker?” he asked, the subject changing so fast I nearly got whiplash.
I’d never been that good at poker. I’d been taught when I was younger, I knew the basic rules but I hadn’t played in years. I was rusty. I remembered the last time I’d played, in a bar at fourteen. I’d snagged myself one hundred dollars. I was praying for the miracle to reensue.
“Are you a betting man Hawthorne?” I raised a challenging eyebrow, one he couldn’t ignore. Avery mentioned that he couldn’t turn down a challenge.
“All Hawthornes are betting men,” he said coolly.
“That sounds risky,” I grinned.
“Not if you don’t mind taking the risk,” he cocked his head to the side.
“Where are your playing cards?” I asked.
He picked up his jacket and shook the sleeve gently, a packet of cards falling into his open hand. I suppressed my shock.
“They’re up your sleeve,” I said dryly, “how original.”
“I think you mean impressive,” he replied.
“If it helps you sleep at night, then sure impressive,” I responded.
“You wound me,” he faked a wince, holding onto his heart.
“Blood goes well with your eyes,” I shrugged.
“Better make a deeper wound then,” he murmured, our faces dangerously close.
“Okay,” I bit my bottom lip, “…I beat you at chess a few hours ago.”
“Too deep princess,” he replied.
“Princess?” I questioned, my eyebrows knotting together.
“What’s wrong with it?” he shrugged.
“It’s not my name,” I said bluntly.
“My apologies Princess y/n,” he grinned, taking a step back to bow before me.
I smacked the back of his head, “you’re not as funny as you think you are.”
“I think you’ve already used that line,” he countered, standing up, tentatively touching the back of his head.
“Thought I’d reinforce it,” I said.
“Remind me to teach you how to slap,” he replied, trying to get under my skin, “that was pathetic.”
“I know it hurt you,” I smiled, “don’t be stubborn.”
“Poker,” he sing-songed waving the cards at me as we sat on the floor.
I crossed my legs and watched as he shuffled the cards. He’d probably done it thousands of times, seen as the motions were so fluid, so captivating. Like an illusion. He cracked one of his signature grins my way and then he dealt.
“This isn’t hawthorne poker is it?” I asked, as he finished up.
“No it’s just regular poker,” he replied, “for now.”
His smirk made my insides tingle and my head go a little fuzzy. We picked up our card and he analysed his set sharply. He was on it, he was ready. Unlike when he was playing chess, he was tense. His focus was harder, his intensity was stronger. He was like a raging fire containing in a bottle coated in kerosine.
It was time to play.
***
There was a flash. My head whipped around to look at the window and I dropped all my cards. Thumped rumbled in the distance and I approached the window to see if it was raining. A second flash.
“Lightning,” Jameson mused from behind me, making me jump.
“There’s a storm coming,” I whispered.
“That’s ominous,” he chuckles, his breath is so hot on the back of my neck that it makes me shiver.
“Let’s hope it isn’t our author’s use of pathetic fallacy,” I turned my head so our faces are close.
“Our author?” he furrowed his brows.
“Whoever writes the stories we’re living,” I replied.
“So that’s how you think of things?” he asked, sounding somewhere between amused and curious.
“The things we do, the people we meet, the places we see, it’s all meant to be, someone wrote it for us,” I smiled, “it’s prettier to think that it was in the stars but even if it’s not, it’s all written somewhere.”
“That must be on hell of a book,” he grinned, then said, “you dropped your cards.”
I turned to face him, “I know.”
“You had a straight flush,” he replied. It was true. I had done better than I’d ever done at poker, apparently the miracle workers were on my side today.
“I know,” I nodded.
“And I couldn’t tell,” he said slowly.
“I know,” I repeat, eyebrows raised.
“You were going to beat me,” he stated, “…again.”
First at chess, now at poker, he was getting sensitive.
“I-“
“Don’t say I know again,” he said quickly.
“Okay,” I replied.
“No one has ever beaten me at poker before,” he said.
“I must be extra special then,” I joked.
“I think you’re more than that,” he smiled.
My lips parted, “what?l
“I think you’re beautiful,” he murmured, the green of his eyes too addicting to turn away from.
I was caught off guard. Was this some sort of fantasy? Beautiful. He had just called me beautiful. My heart raced all of a sudden and fireworks went off in my brain. I was too tongue tied in shock and joy to reply.
“Thank you?” I managed to say after a few beats.
No. No. No. No. I cursed myself. I didn’t mean to say that, like that. That wasn’t how it was meant to sound. If there had been a table near by I would’ve whacked my head on it a good few times.
“Tell me you feel it to,” Jameson pleaded, his void a low hum, “whatever the hell this is between us.”
“Oh I can feel it,” I replied, my voice quiet, seductive.
“That makes this difficult,” he exhaled slowly.
“Why?”
“Because I can’t trust myself with you,” he admitted, looking into my eyes, his expression so pained it made me ache.
“Then trust me,” I insisted, taking his hands into mine.
“You’re driving me crazy,” he chuckled lightly, “in the best possible way. I can’t stop thinking about you.”
“Funny you seem to be doing the same with me,” I giggled.
His face suddenly grew solemn, a look I hadn’t seen a lot of his face, “you don’t want this with me, I promise you I’m dangerous.”
“I like dangerous,” I shrugged.
“Target on my back, run into fire for fun, love too hard kind of dangerous,” he clarified, studying my face for any sign of me changing my mind.
“I’ll reevaluate that statement then,” I said, pausing.
He waited, so still, so quiet that I questioned whether he was breathing.
“I love dangerous,” I whispered, my eyes lighting up.
He only smiled at me then leaned down, cupping my face in his palms. His scent washed over me, delicate and alluring. His lips neared mine and I closed my eyes. The first kiss was gentle and sweet, it was the soft kind of kiss that every girl dreams her first kiss would be. But after that first few sweetened kisses, I got hungrier, I wanted not just to taste him but to indulge in him.
I kissed him harder with a new added passion and he realised I wasn’t messing around, that I wasn’t afraid. He delivered back, not worried to be rougher with his kisses. We moved with the emotion and the intensity of the moment. A fiery feeling ignited my heart. Love. My back hit the wall and his hands found their way to my waist. Pinned by a frenzy of kisses, I suddenly remembered I needed to breathe. It seemed Jameson did to. We pulled away, chests both heaving, hearts both racing.
“Lobsters,” I murmured breathlessly.
“What?” he asked, the most adorable confusion plastered across his soft features.
“Lobsters,” I smiled like an idiot, “they mate for life.”

Can't believe you're gonna make me simp for this man while I'm at work-
LET ME KISS HIS SCARS BETTER REPEATEDLY DAILY ON THE BED ON THE DESK ON THE KITCHEN COUNTER WHERE NO GOD CAN SEE OR JUDGE I WILL WORSHIP THE MAN WITH WAR WOUNDS THE WAY HE OUGHT TO BE -🐸
Kiss it Better
sometimes a kiss makes things feel better— or a few dozen! headcanons for smoochin’ their scars: Simon “Ghost” Riley, John “Soap” MacTavish, König, Sebastian Krueger
Simon “Ghost” Riley:
Simon Riley has been on the receiving end of a lot, he’s used to it - mishaps during training, wounds during deployments, not to mention the occasional bumps and bruises from daily life. what he wasn’t used to receiving was the feeling of your lips on the rough, patchy parts of his skin
”What’chya doin’, love?”, voice warm as he watches you press kisses to his scarred chest. he’d told you about some of them, grazes and nicks, close calls with blades, “Nothing, Si.”. a content hum resonates in his chest, a hand resting on the back of your head as you continue - kissing from scar to scar
he was indifferent towards the scars - a part of his job, but when you littered kisses over them? the warmth that bloomed in his chest was welcomed. lounging in bed with you, the tv idly playing in the background as he combs his fingers through your hair, the domestic moment is pure bliss for Simon
pressing his own kiss to your hairline, he cracks a smile when you chuckle, nipping at his collarbone. “Careful, you’re supposed t’be kissin’ ‘em, lovie.”, he says, tugging your hair a little.
“Could leave a couple new marks for you.”, you mumble, smiling against his skin when he gently scratches your scalp
Tumblr media
John “Soap” MacTavish:
for every kiss you place on his scars he’s doubling them and giving them back. Johnny is a sucker for when you kiss his scars - getting them can be horrifying depending on what happened, but when you’re pecking his arms? peppering kisses over his scarred muscles? he’s thinking about banging his knee into your coffee table ‘accidentally’ so you’ll kiss it better
“Wait, go back— missed a spot, mo ghaol.”, Johnny happily says, hand cupping your chin as he smiles at you, guiding you to press a kiss to his shoulder. the scar is barely visible - probably a nick from training or bumping into something, but he’s more than happy to feel your lips against the small mark, “Ya started this, gotta kiss ‘em all.”, he insists
he’s living for the attention, thumb pressed to your cheek as he gently guides you to each scar - some completely visible, others you have to squint at. and he’s gushing, cooing sweetly at you about how nice your lips feel against his skin, how you should do this more often
and he when you’re done? he’s pressing you down against the couch, a hand holding your wrists above your head as he kisses you silly - he’s laughing, dopey smile on his lips as he sloppily pecks you. “Hold still, mo chridhe! You’re squirmin’ too much—“, he chuckles, accent thick between quick kisses
“John! John— let go! It tickles!”, you complain, his stubble rubbing against your neck as he playfully bites at you
König:
it took a while for König to reveal his marred skin to you - scars, freckles, and moles all hidden beneath his uniform and civvies. despite his confidence and cocky nature as a Colonel, behind closed doors König worries. ever since his childhood people had pointed and mocked him, and back then he wasn’t charging into the field receiving wounds
but he trusts you, and when his sniper hood is awkwardly tugged off by large, calloused hands? his icy blue gaze meets yours, his face on display - a small scar over against his eyebrow, a cut across the corner of his lips, a scattering of roughed up skin against his cheek. he doesn’t explain what happened, how he got his scars and wounds, but you don’t pry. instead, when your first instinct is to press a kiss to his long since healed cheek?
he freezes, breath hitching - König was expecting you to be appalled, to leave his apartment with knit eyebrows and disappointment in your eyes. he wasn’t expecting such gentle, careful adoration. and when you move to kiss his crooked nose, the bridge slanted slightly, he feels his chest tighten with relief, heart hammering. “Oh, liebling—“, shaky hands moving to hover above your hips, he swallows, “You don’t have to.”, he murmurs
his stomach flips when you kiss the corner of his lips, right where the nick against them is. he lets his eyes flutter shut when you tell him you want to, the he’s handsome and ever so charming - words he never thought he’d hear
“So pretty—“, you mumble, moving to peck the small scar the splits his eyebrow, “You look perfect, König.”
Sebastian Krueger:
prideful bastard, he’s showing off each and every scar - telling you exactly what happened. it doesn’t matter that his body has a reminder that he was nicked by a blade, “Ja, the man that did this won’t lay a hand me again, meine Herz.”, it’s almost like he’s bragging about them
Krueger cracks jokes about some of his more serious wounds, waving off anything he considers boring. the small scrape on his hip? ignore that he accidentally hip checked the corner of a table, look at this one! it’s the size of your thumb, you want to know where he got it? no? oh, you don’t want to listen to his stories, kleiner Vogel? you’re hurting his feelings, you should kiss his scars to make it up to him
he just wanted to share some stories with you, isn’t it mean that you’re denying him? he’s holding your face, palm to your chin and his thumb slightly digging into your cheek, “Du willst mir nicht zuhören, kleiner Vogel? Fine, how about you give me some attention then, Klingt das gut?”. he grins when you press a kiss to the scar on his chest, humming at the feeling of your lips against his skin, “Schau dich an, isn’t this nice?”
in fact, Krueger likes it so much that he’ll seek you out just to feel you kiss his old wounds - settles you in his lap, crowds you against the kitchen counter. his eyes light up whenever you initiate, chest twisting with excitement as you peck his collarbone, where a nasty little wound had been years ago
softly smiling as you press kisses to the healed, rough bit of skin, you glance up at Krueger, “Tell me about this one?”
Tumblr media
I love these silly little guys - I hope you enjoyed these fluffy, domestic interactions with these soldiers🎀✨
