A/N: btw in these headcanons as well as my other posts about Dune i kinda mix movie and book versions of character

I'd describe the texture of angels being most similar to porcelain, heaven essentially sounds like Celeste Boursiers Mougenot piece with angels moving around the whole place.

As for names, I mostly stick to naming main angel characters after recognizable file formats but considering just the vast amount of angels out there, I figured there's probably a ton with randomized 2-5 alphabetical or numerical codes as their format. [ex: Angel.Dre4, Angel.S32 etc..]

Also to state again, an angels name isn't just their format code but their hierarchy name and then the format [ex: Angel.Tiff, Archangel.Pdf, Principality.Zip] so you could have angels sharing same format codes but different hierarchies [ex: Throne.Tif, Dominion.pdf etc...]

But!! Truth be told not all angels are referred to by their format names, I do have angels named after other electronic creation tools like Selection so theoretically you can have angels with 'nicknames' such as Export, Insert, Gamut (though I admit it's bit too silly to have an angel named "Overlay mode")

If you were curious about demons, the rules are a lot more lax and loose since they're not really bound to the restrictions of Heaven anymore. Fallen Angels (or roots) sometimes keep their old names or opt for new ones while splits are a lot more creative with what they do.

I did have the idea of naming prominent demons after computer viruses but I suppose I never did much with it- maybe the idea will come back and you'll meet a demon named Storm worm. Also the majority of demons in the story are older ocs of mine whose names I felt too attached to to change

The only person who never shushed him nor feared him ended up being cursed by him— Clearly, everyone's better off far away from him.

The problem is, Toge is a lover. I'm an Inuokko shipper first and foremost so this might be where this idea comes from, but, even platonically, I think Toge would be the one to relate most to Rika. They're like two sides of the same coin when it comes to love. @gelatosushix made a wonderful post about it, so I won't dive too deep into this, but basically: Rika kills when she loves, but Toge dies when he loves.

A common mistake would be comparing Toge to a moth, drawn to fire and getting burnt by it. Toge isn't the moth; he's the flame. You're the moth. He's captivating, he has this mysterious aura yet somehow seems like an open book, but only if you ask the right questions— Only if you learn his language (and I'm not talking about rice ingredients). He intoxicates you, draws you in with his gaze (whether a purple wine with violet droplets, or a fiery brown with amber lights).

Then, he pulls his collar down: tattoos, or maybe burn scars, marking his cheeks and tongue as death takes the form of a baby-faced man. He's a weapon, one even Maki can't wield. He's feared. Toge kills for people, because killing goes hand-in-hand with dying in his case. Toge loves by pushing away; that's how it's always been, that's what he's been taught. It feels right, it feels like everything he's ever wanted, it feels like so little yet so much to him— And he hates it.

Affection

Not the most affectionate man. It's a moderate amount, usually in private. He doesn't love pda but it's not like he hates it either. Keep it to a minimum in public. Hugging, hand holding, simple things in public. In private, he gives you affection. A kiss on your head while you lean against him or holding your waist to bring you closer.

Beauty

Since he is blind, he can't see any of your features physically but he can touch them. Jouno would like your hands. He likes to hold them and keep his intertwined with yours. He's able to feel them and easily visualize them and that's something he just really likes.

Comfort

He's not... great. He's very like 'tough love' and so he kind of tries but also it's not very helpful when he does say something to attempt to make you feel better. It'd be much better if he stuck with cuddling or just simply hugging you to help you feel comforted.

Domestic

Certain tasks he can do easily, other tasks... not so much. He can help clean and do the laundry. He doesn't mind doing those simple chores to just help out.

Fight

Depends. Sometimes he does apologize first. If he was in the wrong and he knows that he was. Other times he'll be stubborn about it and wait for you to make the move to apologize first and still it'd be a wild card whether he'd accept that apology or tease you about it.

Gentle

Even when he does seem a bit rough around the edges and well, bitchy rude, he is nicer to you. Depending on what you'd count as nice though. He can be very teasing but, usually he means well. He does try to be nicer and gentler with you than he is with his fellow Hunting Dogs.

Hugs

He enjoys them, he isn't against a quick hug usually. They're easy and not so intimate that he'd dislike having one given to him in public. Only from you though, you're the exception and it'll stay that way.

Impression

I wouldn't doubt it that he found you a bit annoying at first. Usually, that'd be his first impression of many and it takes him a bit to discard that impression and actually get to know you. Until then, it'll be quite annoying to try to genuinely talk to him.

Jealousy

Oh, does he get jealous. He is a jealous boyfriend, you are his partner after all, how could you blame him for getting jealous when another guy starts trying to hit on you. It is not something he enjoys at all and who would? The menacing smile he gives them is usually enough to have them back away.

Kisses

They're enjoyable and quick. He knows you get a little upset when he pulls away before you had your fill with the kiss and he thinks it's cute. He likes it when you decide to engage a kiss with him more than when he has to do it all the time.

Little things

Soft. Jouno. When he's tired, he gets softer than usual. He's not in the mood for teasing or messing with you when he's tired and he gets really sweet. It's almost scary but, you take it when it comes and enjoy it while it lasts.

Mornings

He's usually up before you and sometimes even out of the house if he has to be. He'll usually leave you some sort of breakfast or just a little something to show you that he was thinking of you before he left.

Nicknames

If you want him to give you one, he doesn't mind. Just be prepared for the slightly mean and random ones he calls you before you actually tell him what you'd like to have your nickname be. Then he'll oblige. Sometimes.

Open

Ehhh, could be worse in terms of openness. He tells you about his day and such, he doesn't hide a lot from you but he also uses the excuse of 'Well, you didn't ask' when you figure something out about him.

Patience

Depends heavily on the situation. Comforting you, he tries his best to have as much patience as he can. If you're close to pissing him off in a fight, you'll know when his patience is running thin. It's not as if he'd do much but he does tend to be a bit rude because he needs to blow off some steam and just relax.

Quirks

He can be a little weird without even realizing it. He makes fun of how Tecchou eats those weird food combos but, Jouno can also be weird. It'd be that kind of 'weird' where it's only when you see it or realize he's doing it and then he'll never do it again if you mention it to him.

Romance

Not really. He's quite bad at it actually. Genuinely has no clue how to be romantic and thinks just giving you any sort of affection or attention is romantic enough to pass as him being romantic.

Security

Very protective and you can't blame him. He doesn't want to lose you in something like his line of work. You're very important to him and even when it doesn't seem like it, he'd never be content with losing you.

Try

Although seeming a bit indifferent at times about the relationship, he is trying. There are times where it seems like he's putting minimal effort in but, it might be due to the fact that he's got no experience in such a thing.

Ugly

He can be a bit mean sometimes. It's not that he does it really intentionally but sometimes things he says come out ruder than he would have actually meant them and he'd like for you to understand that.

Vanity

Truly he doesn't particularly care about how he looks. As long as he looks presentable to be in public then it's fine by him. He can't see himself either way so he relies on you to tell him if there's something up with his hair or on his face, if he couldn't tell beforehand.

Whole

Hates to admit that he does in fact feel a lot more comfortable and 'complete' in a way when you're around. It's a weird feeling

He'd hate getting babied because he's blind or just in general sometimes. It pisses him off and he'd like to just be treated normally since he certainly is able to function normally.

Jouno isn't a heavy sleeper and that is likely due to his work as a Hunting Dog. He's got to be ready for action and he's been woken up at least more than once before to make him able to wake up easily without much trouble.
