Something something about the way that they lie and sleep next to each other…

First, after their encounter at Alex's place, Henry doesn't spend the night, and he leaves instead.

Then, we have them talking in bed, but Alex is not really touching Henry:

Then, while sleeping, they are close to each other, but they are still not really touching, or holding onto each other (though Alex is facing Henry):

Again, Alex facing Henry's side of the bed, but it's obvious based on the position of his arms that he was not touching or holding Henry:

But then!! But then, after their talk in Kensington Palace and after their incredibly lovely moment at V&A, we have them cuddling, Alex holding Henry's wrist, in a 'you're not leaving me again' way. And Henry smiles because he has finally put down his walls and is letting himself have this, have Alex and this relationship!

Does anyone really talk about how different "Please Tommy, please" is in the movies than in the books?

In the movies, "Please Tommy, please" is Newt's beg for Thomas to take the necklace that had his note inside of it. Basically begging Thomas to take his last words, something to remember him by.

But in the books...

"Please Tommy, please" is a cry for mercy. A plead for Thomas to not let Newt fall into insanity. To end his suffering before he became a Crank past the Gone. He even wrote the "Kill me. If you've ever been my friend, kill me" note. He's been begging Thomas to kill him since the beginning of TDC.

It just hits differently in the books, man 😭

i saw deadpool and wolverine yesterday and i have never felt more like walt disney; ie, him seeing to kill a mockingbird and lamenting he will never make a movie like that, because he had, by that point, already built an empire around children's entertainment
