⟢ love language; quality time : this is like almost sad and especially sweet at the same time because the poor boy has no time to spend much quality time with you. but again, this kind of makes this whole thing sweeter because that means each moment is just that much more precious. obviously, he'd love to be spending quality time with you by going on dates in the park, taking you to a nice restaurant that's not too stuffy, or something even as simple as taking you to the movies. but those things are hard to do, so to him, any time spent with you without the presence of something trying to kill you can be turned into that precious quality time.

for him, it's about sitting on the couch with your legs strewn over him or his head on your lap or yours on his shoulder (really any sort of thing keeping him connected to you) as you pour over lore books. it's about the seamless exchange when the two of you figure out how to kill your monster or save the world together. it's about posing as fbi to get answers and slipping his hand into yours when no one's looking or grabbing a decent breakfast together before the start of a busy day. all he cares about, the things he treasures, are you falling asleep on him in the back of the impala because he gave up shotgun to sit next to you, taking months, maybe longer to get through one season of a tv show together, and always taking even just a small moment out of a busy day to be together.

⟢ your personal heater : this is literally sooo true. he's so big with so much body mass that he'd have so much body heat to give off. but i so agree that on top of that, he'd also totally be on the warmer side. if you're naturally warm as well, then you two are an unstoppable force in the winter time (the both of you are lulled to sleep by the other's body heat in a matter of minutes). either way, he'll always envelope you in hugs when it gets cold because he knows it'll warm you up right away. he doesn't have to ask to know when you're cold, because you'll always press yourself to him, maybe grabbing his arm and pulling it around yourself before even saying a thing to him.

"you cold?" he'll ask sweetly, and after feeling your nod and hearing your muffled "mhmm," he's quick to wrap his other arm around you too and pull you closer.

for the folks with cold hands like me, he's always trying to warm them up with his own. whether you've slipped your hand in to his just to be near and they're particularly chilly, or he can see you trying to warm your hands up yourself, he's quick to take up both of your hands in his to warm them up. when he grabs up both of your hands, he'll pull them to his chest and hold them there until he's satisfied they're warm. he'll look into your eyes and talk about something completely unrelated, all casual as if he's not making you flustered. other times, he'll warm up one hand at a time, encasing it in both of his own, rubbing it and blowing warm air on it before gently slipping it into his warm, warm pockets and moving on to the other.

also, if he finds out your face is cold, he'll cup your cheeks with his large, furnace hands or full on just pull your face into his head or neck to warm you up that way.

but yeah😭😭 summer can be a lot less pleasant. if you manage to have cold hands even in the summer (i could never i wish), he'll try to steal the coolness from your hands and you'll be like oh my god please stop i'll die LOL.

You knew it wouldn’t be just smooth sailing when you met JJ.

You had heard of his reputation of course. A new girl wrapped around his arm every week, touron or not.

But for some reason, you had hoped that you two could somehow be something more. You’d be lying if you said that you hadn’t fallen for the blonde rather quickly. Obviously, every other girl in Kildare couldn’t refrain from falling for JJ’s charm and sweet tone.

You unfortunately, suffered like the rest, that were just tossed aside when he got bored. When you met JJ at the boneyard of the cut, he had called your whole “arrangement” or what not, off.

Been having this idea so bare with me while I attempt to explain:

No Upside Down AU where like 37% of the human population are some kind of “mythologic” as they call them.

Hawkins is kind of infested with them, despite being— well— Hawkins.

The majority of the Party are mythologics.

Now, Billy and Max move to Hawkins from Cali as per usual in 1984. And they’ve heard of Hawkins. Of how it’s mostly mythologics despite the small human population not being very accepting of them.

So they move to Hawkins and all is well until they start hearing rumors.

Rumors about a werewolf pack that isn’t a werewolf pack. Apparently there’s a werewolf in Hawkins collecting misfits and others and simply— accepting them into his pack.

Billy doesn’t buy it for shit. Werewolves tend to be hella territorial and unwelcoming.

Or that’s what he’s been told by his dad. He’s never actually met a werewolf, being a vampire. Vamps and Wolves don’t really get along.

And so Billy and Max start school and it’s fine. Billy likes fucking with this one guy, Steve. It’s really easy to rile him up and funny to watch him try and rein himself in.

Max is in the middle school, always talking about this one vampire kid and how he’s an asshole but his friends are sweet enough. Billy doesn’t listen too much.

Until he collides into Steve in the high school parking lot. Steve’s in a rush, barely getting an apology out before running (inhumanly fast— Billy notes) down the road where the middle school is.

Billy, thinking “well what the fuck”, follows after him. They arrive at the middle school and there’s a fight going on in the parking lot.

He says “fight” but it’s really a bunch of kids ganging up on one scrawny pale kid and holding back his friends. Steve is rushing in immediately, yelling at the assholes to leave them alone and to scram.

That’s when Billy realizes one of the kids being held back was Max, with a minor busted lip.

He’s immediately at her side, trying to seem angry but not being able to hide the actual concern in his tone.

Billy turns to leave but watches Max run up to the other kids to check on them. That’s when Steve turns to Billy and seems to recognize his presence.

Steve’s pulling the 4 boys behind him immediately, his eyes flashing a bright yellow and he growls and—

And there’s the bit where vampire Eddie also joins the pack eventually, after the kids kind of adopt him in Hellfire and Steve is weak for those kids.

And obviously Billy ends up joining the pack at some point but I haven’t thought that far ahead lmao.

Idk if I want it to be platonic harringrove or romantic harringrove but I’m lowkey leaning towards harringroveson to be honest.

Zakk is a nasty mean boy as we all know. before he really loves you, i believe he would be a man with a bit of a sick sense of humor (yk like dark jokes or laughing at sort of fucked up stuff), would be terrible at caring for himself in not all ways, but most. and he’s like, a total asshole, obviously. i saw someone say that Zakk would have bpd and listed why and i so agree which bpd or any disorder (trust me y’all i have 4 disorders lmao) doesn’t make you a red flag till you let it make you a red flag, and i think Zakk would let it become a red flag. Zakk is just kinda fucked up. from weird things on the internet he saw when he was too young, to definitely having trauma, i think he’s a little fucked from the start. I still love him and he would def learn to love you. I think his version of love would be a bit possessive and overly clingy, like if anyone hit on you he would get more possessive than he really should. I also think he would hold onto you forever and ever and never let go, and if you left and especially if you hurt him when you left, he’d never forgive himself for letting someone get that close, and other sad bullshit. i think i could work through Zakk and get mutual love out of him but it would be hard. but i don’t really care though cause i know he got some meat down there and he has a pretty face so idgaf! <33 + i know deep down there he is a lovable man. for his green flags, he’s a sweetheart when you get to love him, as i’ve said before. he’s very capable of genuinely caring and loving, it’s just hard to get him to do so. we love our boy Zakk no matter what.

I do actually find it silly to think about eventual cumscarian. maybe more. like the polycule just keeps growing. all of our friends, into the pot. it’s the most monstrous QPR/actual romantic mix you’ve ever seen, none of it is labeled, none of it makes sense, and then BOOM. hermitcraft.

(In an eventual future) anyway Grian probably would do this. And then he’d realize he wasn’t joking. And then they’d all have to have a conversation MDNDNDNDNND. but yeah if mumbo doesn’t want to be treated like a jungle gym maybe he shouldn’t be so tall and lanky and a pushover.

Genuinely though Mumbo has a very interesting dynamic with all three of those losers and I think it would be fun to explore each of their relationships /platonic/ separately from each other because they’re all very different. Idk if this will actually happen or if I will have moved on to something else, but here are my thoughts.

Obviously, Grian and Mumbo are besties. Estranged for a while, but their relationship now is pretty healthy with Mumbo setting very firm boundaries that Grian understands and follows (besides occasional instances of forgetfulness or not thinking, but as time passes and old wounds scab over, it matters less and less). I have zero planned major conflict for these two and I don’t imagine that ever changing. Just a steady, healthy friendship.

Mumbo and Cub are interesting to me as mutual friends of Grian who never quite Clicked despite living together most of their college years. Cub makes Mumbo a little bit nervous because he’s so difficult to read a lot of the time, but I don’t imagine Mumbo has ever really gotten Cub in a place where they can talk about shared interests (of which they have quite a few!), an environment that Cub would have a lot more energy to bring to the table. Cub likes Mumbo, but He Can Tell that Mumbo can’t really relax around him most of the time, and since he’s not a very outgoing person he kinda just. Doesn’t try to do anything about that. He’s very used to being regarded as cold and thinks it’s too much effort to try and change minds. Cub I think also has misinterpreted Mumbo’s perception of him though, probably not realizing that Mumbo would like to be closer, he just doesn’t know how to go about doing it. (Cub often assumes most people would rather not bother with him, not necessarily in a self deprecating way, more neutrally toned) Cub doesn’t know either. They would both feel awkward about it. I think the ideal way to put them together would just be to drop them in an escape room or something. Give them a puzzle. Let them problem solve together. I imagine they’d butt heads a little in their Autistic Fervor to PUZLEPUZZLEPUZLLEPUZZLE SOLVEOLEVSOLVESOLVE BE VERY STIMULATED but in the end they’d appreciate the input of the other person in places they got stuck and really respect each other in that way. From there they could move forward.

Scar and Mumbo is tough here because Scar is a little bit obsessed with him and in that obsession just continuously breaks Mumbo’s boundaries like he’s crashing through drywall and Mumbo is just Tired of him. Scar is a Pest. While Mumbo and Grian could bond initially over their distaste of Scar, I imagine as time went on Grian would start to realize someone needs to pull Scar aside and tell him straight up he’s being an asshole, because Scar doesn’t always Get It. What is to Mumbo and Incredibly Annoying inconvenience is interpreted by Scar as a back and forth fun game, and he doesn’t understand that Mumbo is serious, that the way Scar is acting isn’t fun for him. It would take a bit for Scar to understand. Scar’s outlook and interpretation of the world around him is pretty stubborn and he isn’t the most empathetic person and struggles sometimes to connect that the way He would feel about [blank] isn’t universal to everyone. But he would get there. And when he’d apologize, he’d mean it. Mumbo would know it, and I don’t think this au Mumbo could hold a grudge to save his life. Too much energy. So the turnaround on his and Scar’s friendship would be pretty fast; neither party going out of their way to talk to each other, but with so many mutual friends it’s pretty inevitable. And it would probably be nice. A little weird getting to know each other for the first time after years of (forced) talking, but they’d jive. I bet they’d both be into board games. They could be weird about them together.

Unrelated to this episode but as a twin, everytime I remember Lark had an affair with Sparrow’s wife, I’m just… in disbelief. Like, I hate when people ogle at my twin and I, and are like “WHAT’S IT LIKE BEING A TWIN!” “I WISH I WAS A TWIN!” “WOW! HAVING A TWIN IS HAVING A BUILT IN BESTFRIEND!” However, weird objectification aside, they’re not wrong. I DO have a close bond with twin that I don’t with anyone else. For most of my life (and all my childhood), we were on the same wavelength emotionally speaking. Obviously we had put diffrences, but the way we viewed the world and reacted to things emotionally was almost the same. In middle school, we both were struggling mentally, but we understood each other, she felt like the only irl person who truly understood what I was going through, because she was going through it too. To me, our relationship is taken for granted. No matter what happens, how much we fight or bicker, I have never once in my life doubted whether she loved me or not. Her love has always been, and still is, the strongest constant in my life. And even though the way we view the world and act emotionally is no longer exactly the same, she is still the one person I feel understands me the most.

And that’s why, I can’t wrap my head around the fact that Lark did that. How could he have done that. I could NEVER, see myself betray my sister like that. And yes I’m young, and ace (and on the aro spec), so you could argue it’s not the same but like, even if I were allo, I just, can not see myself having an affair WITH MY TWIN’S S.O.! (also I just hate the idea that cheating is just a thing that happens sometimes like, I’m sure there are relationships that recover from that, but come one, seriously it’s so easy to not cheat) The worst part is that I still think Lark loves Sparrow. Scratch that, I know he still loves Sparrow. I’m not good at wording it, but the best example I can think of, is Lark pretending to be Sparrow so that he could fix Sparrow’s relationship with Normal, so that Sparrow doesn’t have a bad relationship with their son. I’m thinking of that person who made a post about how Lark shows love and I wish I could remember so that can point to that, but it mentioned Lark sewing bulletproof into Normal’s suit. Anyway, Lark LOVES Sparrow, and they are each other’s world. The problem is that they’re codependent with each other, which can make them enable their worst attributes, or let them brush things off that shouldn’t be brushed off.

I can’t imagine doing what Lark did to Sparrow, to my sister. Idk how my sister could EVER forgive such a betrayal. I know some romantic couples can genuinely work together to overcome an affair, so I guess that can be applied to platonic and familial situations as well. But still, Sparrow TRUSTED Lark more than anyone else in his life, for Lark to break that that trust, it just… idk. Also, I definitely understand why Sparrow forgave Lark, they can’t lose their only family left. They are each other’s world. Especially after everything they’ve gone through. Tho I will say, I don’t think Sparrow’s just completely over it either. His wife and brother had a fucking affair together. That has to hurt. Plus, there are little lines when referring to Normal that Sparrow’s said that leads me to believe that Sparrow has some unprocessed feelings about the affair pushed deep, deep down to keep peace.

I wonder how much thought Anthony put into to that plot point. Most of the times it’s played as joke but if you think about it for 2 seconds it’s so fucked. But Anthony cares too much about the kiddads for me to believe it was just a joke, like the Hermie’s dads situation. I wonder what made him think this is a thing Lark would do.

This isn’t supposed to be an “I HATE LARK” post. I think he’s a very interesting character, the way he’s reacting and processing to everything that happened in S1 and S2 is fascinating. And just to reiterate, I know he still loves Sparrow. But still, I keep thinking about how do you betray the person who’s your whole world, who you arguably love the most. Or guess, my real question is WHY. What has going on in his head that led him to doing that. Even from a more selfish standpoint, I don’t think Sparrow currently trusts, or will ever trust Lark the way he did pre-affair. And I don’t think Lark is stupid enough to believe having an affair with Sparrow’s wife wouldn’t irrevocably change their relationship.

I wish I could be more eloquent, but I always forget and every time I remember what he did I just don’t know how to feel about it. Idk, I just keep thinking about them. I can’t help it, I’m a latino twin, they were handcrafted for me.

spoilers for bg3 act 2. not a big story spoiler but a great character interaction i had (i know this game has been out for a while but just in case lmao)

i naturally love the astarion character. him being a sultry vampire with a hidden agenda/dark past/self-protective “act” and an amazing VA who is clearly having the time of their life… it was over for me before i even picked up the game.

i’m not romancing him in my first playthrough for many reasons..

1) i’m a goody goody character and i’ve decided to try and play naturally the first time without worrying too much about maintaining my morals and romancing him at the same time

2) karlach is my lawfully wedded wife

so instead, i’ve gone for the next best thing— good-naturedly irritating the absolute fuck out of him, lmao

i’ve enjoyed imagining him and my Tav nurturing a sibling rivalry. it started in Act 1’s grove party, when he insinuated he wanted to have some fun with someone. when my character said “are you saying you want to ‘have fun’ with me??” he turned his nose up at me and said “absolutely not, i have STANDARDS” with his full chest. i swear i could hear that VA smiling. which, oh my god, absolutely SENT me… Astarion set my Tav up so bad LMFAO

i leaned in. in my head, my Tav lowkey understands that Astarion isn’t actually cruel, but guarded, so she doesn’t take his remarks personally and is more invested luring out his bluntness (like i am as a player).

his relationship meter is solidly on “good” tho, so it’s not like he actually hates me, thankfully. every time i switch to him for traps or locks, i love imagining my tav pulling at astarion’s arm and using the most grating voice possible to say “astarioooooon, there’s so many traaaaaps, please won’t you lend me your special standards and help out?” and him being like “🙄 really?” and i love it lol.

in my head Astarion is doing a bit. the “i will not stop complaining to hide the fact that i actually really enjoy being part of this team” bit. love that for him.

it’s important to note that up until yesterday, any time i’d talk to him to add him to my party, he would say the standard “well what can i do for you?” or “… yes?”

now! yesterday, i made it to the blood elf lady in moonrise who wants astarion to bite her. i’m woman enough to admit that i was 1000% mesmerized by her dom energy and was willing to let her drain me to the last drop. both the writers and the VAs deserves one million dollars for that scene

but the second she started treating astarion like a thing, assuming i was his “owner” or whatever, she shattered the vibes! i was instantly defensive 😭

astarion refused to bite her, and when the lady asked me to command him to bite her, i obviously chose the “he’s a person (you fucking dick!) and he said no” option

i had genuinely been moved to drop my own teasing relationship and defend him as my friend. i didn’t even want to chose the dialogue option that would’ve fit how i’d played it so far (something like “you DON’T want to bite her, Astarion? i’m a bit surprised”)

ever since that one interaction, Astarion’s voicelines have changed completely!

i was so taken aback when i chatted with him after and he said “Hello my dear (genuine)” or “How can I help you, my friend?”

i thought maybe it was serendipitous— maybe that approval just so happened to nudge my metered relationship w/ Astarion across a certain threshold— but i’d checked his meter before and it didn’t change significantly at all. definitely not enough to warrant this 180 flip, i don’t think

that was fucking rad! i like to think that from astarion’s POV, my tav had gone out on a limb and showed she does genuinely care for him. and maybe now he can start seeing her as a true ally and friend. even though i am annoying, of course.

i’m struck by what a great character moment that was. honestly kudos to the writers and devs for making that a pivotal beat in the astarion/tav relationship, regardless of it being platonic or romantic. this game is full of moments like that — it makes it so addicting and satisfying!!

When I think of Kalim, I think of Joy from Inside Out. They’re doing their absolute best for others and so much more. But they keep pushing their problems to the side and try to cover it up pushing this toxic positivity onto themselves.

Why only Blitzo has this picture

I've seen the question a few times now and I really want people to understand something about Blitzo that gets overlooked quite a lot, despite the show making it pretty clear: Blitzo doesn't understand love.

That does not mean he doesn't feel it, he very obviously feels platonic, familiar and romantic love. He understands that he does love someone. What he doesn't understand is the intimate nature of love itself. Blitzo has had a difficult childhood that did not teach him emotional intimacy.

We KNOW that Cash, Blitzo's father, is a total scumback. He emotionally blackmails his son into doing something Blitzo himself was against and based on the way Blitzo reacted, this is not a rare occurence. He did not do this the first time in "The Circus".  Blitzo loves his mother more than he does his father, that is why his father could manipulate him so easily. Blitzo learned from a young age that people will use your feelings against you. They will manipulate and use you.

THAT is why he does it to Stolas. He learned that using someones feelings against them is the way to get what you want. Manipulation is his go-to response to reach a goal if he has the option, BECAUSE his father taught him that as a child.

Blitzo became a highly observent person because of his upbringing. Yes, he does have his difficulties with social cues. But being socially observant end being observant in general are two very different things.  Why do you guys think I.M.P. only got caught 2 times in the human world? The first time, in "Murder Family" was caused by Moxxie. The second time was caused by Blitzo AND Moxxie in "Trugh Seekers".

In "Truth Seekers" we see that the moment there is a threat Blitzo not only protects his friends/family but he also got into the only hiding spot immediatly. Despite not seeming like taking care and being on guard in the human world he does map out the area he's in.

So to conclude up to thos point: 

> Blitzo does not understand emotional intimacy 

> Things we do not understand are scary for us! (This is a simple fact of psychology) 

> Blitzo is very observant

We see this behavior from Blitzo much more clear in "The Circus". Once he is caught by the hellhounds Stolas walks Blitzo back to his bedroom.

And what does Blitzo do? He observes EVERYTHING! All he has to do is follow Stolas, he has no intention to return to the palace at this point in time so he does not need to know anything about it. But he still looks around as well as he can while following Stolas.

This serves a purpose. First, he knows the layout of the palace  from his childhood but this refreshes his memory. Second, he gets a glimpse about Stolas life and mental state. We are shown that Blitzo takes in all the portraits in Stolas palace FOR A REASON.  This short walk tells Blitzo that Stolas is unhappy without Stolas ever saying a word about it. This image gets reinforced once Stolas says the "First ever friend" line that get's Blitzo to stay.

Why is that important? Because this establishes a pattern. Blitzo KEEPS watching Stolas during their interactions. In "Loo-Loo-Land" Blitzo plays Bodyguard and we see him keeping track of Stolas and the people on the park.

The moment someone gets close to Stolas and Octavia he is there as long as he is not distracted. In "Harvest Moon Festival" he has such a close eye on Stolas and everyone around him that he notices Striker disappearing and he can stop Striker just in time due to this.

Even in "Ozzie's" Blitzo keeps an eye on Stolas. As long as he isn't distracted by M&M he keeps track on what Stolas does.

Notice where he is looking in all these pictures? He keeps track of Stolas movements. Blitzo is not good with emoti0onal cues but he knows body language. So the body language is what he keeps track of.  And here comes the crux of the issue! Blitzo takes whatever Stolas says serious because he does not understand that Stolas himself isn't aware enough to realize when he is demeaning or condecending.

"You are so cute when you are serious!~" 

"My grimoire is actually important and it isn't supposed to be lend out to itty bitty imps, like yourself!"

Stolas doesn't mean it condecending or to belittle Blitzo, WE know that. But here is the problem for Blitzo: Stolas body language does not disprove the interpretation that Stolas means these statements in a condecending way.  Blitzo likes Stolas, he likes spending time with Stolas. If he truly resented Stolas he would not have accepted the offer to bodyguard or the invitation to the Harvest Moon Festival. He also wouldn't spend time with Stolas outside of the bed but we know he does it.

Stolas has the pictures on his phone to prove it! This implies that they spend time together outside of their full moon deal. But Blitzo always has the same annoyed expression on his face, why?

Being annoyed is his defense mechanism. Whenever Blitzo gets reminded of his trauma or doesn't understand something he gets annoyed and angry. But Stolas didn't press on his trauma buttons until Ozzie so he was never angry, just annoyed.

And here comes the next problem: Blitzo hates himself.

In Blitzo's mind he is the reason all his relationships broke apart. The people he had relationships with are all different so he sees himself as the problem. He makes their life worse. They will all leave him. Their life would be better without him.

This is what Blitzo thinks. That is why he crosses himself out of the pictures. And you know what this leads to? "I don't deserve happyness because I will just ruin this persons life and they will leave me in the and so why sould I even try?"

We have the clues all throughout the show that Blitzo is depressed  and hates himself. Here we actually see this.  

 On a subconcious level Blitzo knows he loves Stolas. That is why he has that picture. He wanted to capture a moment of happiness for himself with the person he loves.

We saw that he does that with all the people in his life. Verosika, Fizz, Moxxie, Millie, Loona and his parents. He has pictures of all of them in a moment of personal happiness for him.

But Loona is the only one that knows he keeps thoose pictures because she lives with him. Nobody else knows that. So why has Blitzo the only picture where he is happy with Stolas?  Because whenever Stolas made a picture there was something to either trigger Blitzo being annoyed or he wanted to hide how happy he was BECAUSE he doesn't want to be vulnerable in front of Stolas.

The picture Blitzo keeps of them is one that is made in total piece. They are lying in the bed, cuddling and Stolas is sleeping soundly. Blitzo never showed Stolas this picture because he is scared to be this vulnerable and he doesn't think he deserves to be happy with Stolas.  Stolas is a powerful demon Prince. Stolas is part of the Ars Goetia, in rank just below the sins. Blitzo sees himself as a fuck-up deserving of suffering. An Imp, the lowest of the low in hell.

Blitzo thinks Stolas deserves better than him.

Blitzo is scared of being emotionally intimate and vulnerable.

Blitzo hates himself and is scared of ruining Stolas life.

This is the moment Blitzo thought "I ruined his life" and "Him rejecting me hurts" At this point in time Blitzo was already in love with Stolas but never allowed himself to show it. Because he himself didn't realize it.

The TophGandAbe dynamic I see is literally just Abe dating these two guys who just happen to be short and get along fairly well together.

So Abe is dating Topher and Gandhi. Obviously.

Gandhi is pretty chill with Topher. I don’t think he’d quite care about Topher’s internet activities or time usage, he’s allowed to have hobbies y’know? He and Abe talked about it extensively, Gandhi is fine with Abe being polyamorous. He’s happy that Abe is happy. As long as Topher is as open and communicative in the relationship as the other two, then Gandhi is completely fine and comfortable around Topher. I don’t think he really respects Topher all too much tho? Like he will laugh at him if something happens while Abe would comfort him.

Topher was jealous of Gandhi. He was scared of Abe choosing to dump him and stick with Gandhi. But then he got over it. Okay he got over it a tiny bit. Topher is kind of a high maintenance partner, boarder line possessive, could be considered obsessive. But I think over time he’s like pretty okay with Gandhi. He just wants to be with Abe and he has to learn that being with Abe means he has to accept certain aspects of Abe— so yeah it took a bit to really get used to Abe being polyamorous and whomever he would choose to date.

I think Gandhi and Topher would become platonic partners of sorts? I mean in context of my future au. In the regular highschool setting, Topher probably would call Gandhi an acquaintance while Gandhi does call him a friend, but Gandhi calls everyone he meets a friend anyhow so that hardly matters lol.

Their relationship isn’t exactly the healthiest but it’s not toxic at least. Just a little unhealthy.

ofc the lees of the group are definitely nene and tsukasa (no i am not biased. you can’t tell me that these two aren’t ganged on the most. and for completely different reasons) meaning the lers r rui and emu

for nene, ofc when she’s being a grouch or just.. needs to smile, the three will be allll over her. honestly, she’s super ticklish so it’s always works for them so why stop? they like to do this when she’s nervous too cuz it keeps her distracted and clears her mind a little, you know?

as for tsukasa, it’s just.. for fun. silly, i know. it’s just.. seeing his smile and laugh so freely is such a contrast to his prideful, boasting laugh. YOU GET WHAT I MEAN??? like his laughter is contagious, but what i mean is that whoever can see him truly smile wants to smile too!

emu lovessss being the lee obviously but she loves being a ler too!!! like, she still gets tickled a lot. don’t get me wrong. tickles r super duper common between these four and it’s usually emu who initiates it. anyways, what i’m getting at is that she, as anyone who’s ever seen her story, LOVES making people smile. she’d be the sweetest most playful ler out there and you cannot tell me otherwise. like i mean, complimenting you so many times that you want to explode out of embarrassment (even tsukasa sometimes)

rui is usually the one who tickles nene tbh but ofc he tickles the other too! though, it took a bit getting there because while he may not seem like it, he does get nervous about tickling someone. though, that’s mainly because he’s afraid they’ll see him as weird. anyways, he’s often the lee, yeah, but most of the times, he would use situations to his advantage to avoid that (basically offering the ler his help) it’s not that he doesn’t want to be tickled, it’s more so that he prefers to be on the giving side. well, besides that, once emu started to tickle them (without hesitation, might i add) his courage pretty much built up instantly and he joined in. he’s just got those tickles that make you feel floaty and safe, so he often tickles his members especially when their feeling down

now rq let’s talk ab reversing roles: basically nene and tsukasa as lers and rui and emu as lees!!!! isn’t that exciting?? so picture nene as the vengeance ler. you know how nene gets tickled a LOT within the group, well she definitely has to get payback.. she was a bit shy about it at first, but after getting a bit more comfortable with the group, don’t expect to tickle her without getting it back tenfold! then, tsukasa, well he can be a bit like nene sometimes but it’s like, you know those moments where you can practically feel his big brother energy? this with tickling. he’s a bit like kaito actually in this aspect, where he will use tickling to make you smile, much like emu and rui actyally (and nene too tho she wouldn’t admit it).

then emu would be the best lee ever because she’s so encouraging and she lets you know she’s enjoying it and honestly, it just boosts the other threes ego as lers. she’s so sweet and bubbly when she’s being tickled which makes the group just want to tickle her more. she thinks it’s fun and so do they! then for rui, it’s a bit tougher to tickle him. like i said, it’s not because he doesn’t want to be tickled, but mainly because he avoids it. he pretends he doesn’t like it and that it would be a much better idea to tickle the others, but it’s just an act. still, his giggles r breathy and cute and so loveable in his own way.

ALRIGHT SO the headcanons above were mostly for setting. some others, regarding them as a whole: they tickle eachother a lot. it’s crazy, like they’ve even added it as a scene in one of their shows before. (it wasn’t anything big, obviously, just like a little squeeze to the side)

it’s like one of their ways to bond with one another. it’s like, sometimes actions feel better than communication, not feeling the stress of having to find the words to say. so they hug each other and tickle each other to do just that. it’s just another level of closeness for them.

i think that they could also occasionally have after-show tickle fights. obviously, it’s not planned, but sometimes it just happens you know? once, after the show was over and everyone in the audience was leaving, emu poked tsukasa on the side and made tsukasa jolt. of course, emu wasn’t done there and she pounced and asked for the other two to help. rui joined, with a somewhat eager smile on his face, while nene muttered something about them being childish. ofc after a few moments, nene couldn’t help but join either and since then, all emu has to do is choose one of them to wreck for the day and soon everyone’s joining in

at first, they reserved the tickling only for at the wonder stage and when no one’s there. it’s not much different, but recently they’ve had tickle fights and the like in the sekai as well! they didn’t do it, mostly out of respect for the virtual singers, but once they realized that they really didn’t care and even wanted to join in on occasion, they’re comfortable just randomly attacking someone with tickles out of nowhere.

i think they’ve incorporated tickling into shows at points. of course, it’s nothing too intense, but sometimes they’ll have the characters poke each others in the side and stuff then make their squeal like SUPER dramatic (tsukasa doesn’t have to worry about this), because loud squealing and acting shock tends to make little kids laugh and whatnot YKKKK

also tsukasa and emu r feather ticklish, light touches make them go crazy. rougher tickles tend to work better on rui and nene, she laughs about the same no matter what kind of tickling she receives. (they know this from experience)

Overly complicated Ashstar Au: Part 1

(Spans over TNP, PO3, TBC. In this I don’t think OOTS would happen since the conflict is changed and AVOS would happen but in a shorter span of time, in like a super edition or short series)

Inspired a lot by @lockandkeyhyena ‘s au! Go check him out he’s making a animatic currently and it looks awesome for his ashstar au. Part 2 here!

Bramble becomes deputy of TC like in canon, he and Squirrel are mates but problems ofc are there bc he doesn’t like Ashfur and he’s her friend. But Squirrel doesn’t trust Hawkfrost and Bramble is being a little pissy boy about it, punishing her a lot. Very toxic already. (For technicality’s sake I’m saying he trained Whitepaw while Ash trained Birchpaw)

While Ash is now dating Hawk he does still have this attachment to Squirrel. And definitely hates seeing how Bramble treats her.

Hawkfrost crafts his plan to test his brother, either he kills Firestar or he betrays him and if he does then Ash is to leap from the bushes behind him and knock him out. What they get planned for was Brambleclaw attacking Hawkfrost. Caught in surprise he couldn’t roll out of the way of the stake going through his chest. Ashfur is horrified and leap out, but he has to act fast so he rescues Firestar who was coming back from receiving his life and told him that Bramble was working with Hawkfrost to kill him and become leader just like Tigerstar did! Fire is shocked but remembers Tigerclaw doing the same to Bluestar so long ago so he denounces Brambleclaw as deputy and makes Ashfur his deputy instead.

Squirrelflight is obviously horrified, she suspected Hawk of being untrustworthy but never her own mate. She breaks up with him and cries to Ash about it, who can’t help but love that he’s the one she turned to. Though ever beat of his heart reminds him of Hawkfrost. He felt this airy love and warmth with him. His hatred to Bramble is solidified even more. Now Brambleclaw is treated as a cat in their clan, not a clanmate but just there. And Ash makes sure to make his life even harder by giving him many unwanted chores, keeping him away from Squilf, and always making him do Dawn and Dusk patrols.

A bit after this and still reeling from the shock of her ex mate trying to kill her father she agrees to go with Leafpool, and immediately takes in the three for her. When she returns she never states who their sire is, some believing it’s most likely Brambleclaw and she just didn’t want to associate him with her kits. But Ash, looking at the small gray spotty tom with soft blue eyes can’t help but wonder what if their his? Immediately he feels unsure but keeps up the act of a uncle figure to them, helping out when Leaf isn’t there since she’s always so cold to him.

Squirrelflight asks her dad to make one of them apprenticed to Ashfur, a gesture by her to show she cares a lot about him helping her raise the kits (tho it’s purely platonic on her end). As such he gets Lionpaw, the overly ambitious, quick to act, and roaringly loud young cat just as his namesake. While he does try to be a good mentor Lionpaw is a handful and he gets real tired of the guy, sometimes being a bit too harsh though he tries to be nice. He does notice the toms fighting skill and learns that battle training is the best way to keep him interested.

Then he overhears it, walking back to drop off his squirrel and take a nap, he hears whispering form the healer den. Curious he gets closer and sneaks forward to hear. Inside Squilf and Leaf are talking in hushed voices about the three. “We should tell them Leaf it’s not right to keep them in the dark! Plus their almost warriors.” He hears in a anxious tone from Squilf though Leaf’s reply was sharper and clearly a no “Squirrel if anyone finds out who really fathered them I’ll lose everything, they’ll hate us don’t you know? Their whole world would break if they knew!”

He jumps back and drops off the squirrel, shaking the bristling down his spine and trying to stay cool. Too emotional he takes a walk instead, going down to the lake to think. Ash knows they aren’t his now. The little hope of a life after feels like it was shattered. All he can feel is the anger bc if he’s not the sire to them, then their Brambles. The cat who killed his mate here at the lake and hurt Squirrel. Sorry excuse of a mate for her at all when they were together. She chose him? Anger fuels him and he wants vengeance. He would make them feel the pain he did at losing everyone around him.

(For note, no Squirrel never “chose” Brambleclaw over him this is deluded thinking that she is his and any relation to him would be cheating. She didn’t and she is completely innocent just trapped in the crosshairs of two horrible nasty guys who like to control her)

He gets a flaming branch, one he found while checking camp after it was struck by lightning and brought it to a bramble bush near camp, where he tossed it to start the fire. He plays up being the deputy by helping everyone out, going in to ‘save’ the remaining cats who he knows are just Squirrel, the three, and Bramble.

There it is. The three trapped, Squirrel having trouble to push the branch to them. He helps but before they reach the other side he pushes it over, hanging them over the fire on this teetering branch, any moment able to catch on fire and crash them into the fiery flames below. Squirrel shrieks “What are you doing?!” And he just scoffs as he hold the branch steady. She can’t push him away or he’ll lose his grip and the branch will fall along with the three shaking cats she called her kits.

He screams his feelings out. He hated them. He hated her. But most of all he hated the blood that ran through them from their monstrous father. He’s about to lift his paw and let them plummet but Squirrel says the truth. They aren’t her kits. They aren’t Bramble’s most definitely. She took them in because their mother couldn’t. She raised them as her own but she wasn’t the one to kit them. The three are shocked, Ash is surprised. But he can’t let them die now. They don’t deserve that. They didn’t lie or share any blood with the cat who murdered his mate. And they just learned their mom wasn’t even their blood mother. He lets them over, Lionpaw saving Squirrel from a branch as they fled that tried to fall on her but they all make it out with few burns.

None of them speak of what happens as he crafts his plan to hurt the one who really deserved it, not some kits who were innocent of it all. He’s at the river, staring at its moonlit reflection. Memories of laying on his mates back as they floated on the waters surface (like otters), the bright eyes his frosty eyes look at him. He’s swirling his paws in the light when paws slam into his back, pushing him into its depths. He can’t breathe. The waters filling his lungs. But he wasn’t weak, pushing up he launches the cat off his back but they quickly bounce back to finish him off. They wrestle, the only discernible feature of his attacker being hostile glowing green eyes. He’s pinned as claws sink into his throat. He’s about to die. But he can’t yet. No matter how much he missed Hawk he couldn’t see him till he fulfilled what they couldn’t.

“I know who your parents are! I know who really kitted you!”

Ch 6 is so good! She’s getting a little closer to them yay TT Yoongi is making me soft omg. He’s so sweet. Poor thing isn’t accepting what she wants (Yoongi) :( She’s getting closer to Hobi! Jin :/ It does feel realistic to have someone be against her staying. Especially since Jin cares about how she makes Hobi feel. And she's a stranger. It's understandable but still :/ Hobi's heat is coming ooh?! Jin and Hobi are so cute. Them talking about pups omg. Tae’s sister comment made me emotional TT It’s so nice. Is she mainly going to be close to Yoongi?

The fact that her interactions with yoongi are the closest she has come to listening to her instincts in a very vert long time kills me more the longer i think about it.

Yeah the Jin thing is tough bc i also want him to accept her but his love for hobi and how he prioritizes his husband's happiness is just beyond anything. Not even joking that wasnt how i was planning to write that scene in the first part. Like jin was just gonna help build the nest but once i started writing he was jist pouty and i was like oh okay i didnt know you felt that way. I think its kinda cute tho. Like how when your bestie was upset about something but got over it but you're still upset for them 😂

Ugh idk if we'll get into at some point but jimin hit on it once. But tae was an only child growing up and his parents are go so when he first came to the pack he was like, oh I've always wanted brothers. Eventually it became more obviously but he's honestly so hungry for family its cute and sad at the same time. Like idk exactly how it's gonna go (bc my characters surprise me sometimes) but if his love for her only ends up being platonic i wont even be mad bc i think that would be so nice for both of them 🥺
