Quote
Student debt also largely didn’t exist in America before the Reagan Revolution. It was created by Republicans here in the 1980s — intentionally — and if we can overcome Republican opposition, we can intentionally end it here and join the rest of the world in once again benefiting from an educated populace. Forty years on from the Reagan Revolution, student debt has crippled three generations of young Americans: over 44 million people carry the burden, totaling a $2+ trillion drag on our economy that benefits nobody except the banks earning interest on the debt and the politicians they pay off. But that doesn’t begin to describe the damage student debt has done to America since Reagan, in his first year as governor of California, ended free tuition at the University of California and cut state aid to that college system by 20 percent across-the-board. After having destroyed low income Californians’ ability to get a college education in the 1970s, Reagan then took his anti-education program national as president in 1981. When asked why he’d taken a meat-axe to higher education and was pricing college out of the reach of most Americans, he said, much like Ted Cruz might today, that college students were “too liberal” and America “should not subsidize intellectual curiosity.” It was the 1980s version of today’s “war on woke”: Reagan hated college students. On May 1, 1970, Governor Reagan announced that students protesting the Vietnam war across America were “brats,” “freaks” and “cowardly fascists,” adding, as The New York Times noted at the time: “If it takes a bloodbath, let’s get it over with. No more appeasement!” Four days later four were dead at Kent State, having been murdered by National Guard riflemen using live ammunition against anti-war protesters. Before Reagan became president, states paid 65 percent of the costs of colleges, and federal aid covered another 15 or so percent, leaving students to cover the remaining 20 percent with their tuition payments. It’s why when I attended college in the late 1960s — before Reagan — I could pay my tuition working a weekend job as a DJ at a local radio station and washing dishes at Bob’s Big Boy restaurant on Trowbridge Road in East Lansing.
The real reason Republicans oppose efforts to cancel student debt - Raw Story

Dropout's statement from the discord about ticket pricing, for those that may not have seen it:
"Hey everyone! A statement from us here at Dropout and Dimension 20 about the ticket situation with Madison Square Garden - apologies it took a bit of time to get this all sorted, not the easiest stuff to coordinate when the whole cast is mid-travel and everyone at Dropout was prepping for our hiatus (which started yesterday):
The last time Dimension 20 had a live show was in 2019 - nearly 5 years ago - in the Bell House theater in Brooklyn, New York. It seated around 200 people, and we had to work to fill it. We expected our live show at Madison Square Garden to go roughly the same, just on a bigger scale - given we were punching so high above our weight class, we would have to work pretty hard to fill the Garden. After all, it was Madison Square Garden. We had misjudged the situation, to say the least.
Even though the UK live show tour tickets had sold quickly, it was nothing compared to what we saw with the situation over the Gauntlet at the Garden tickets. Dynamic Pricing / Platinum Tickets had not been something explained to us, nor something presented as something we had the ability to opt out of - once we had a better understanding of the situation as a group, we communicated to Live Nation that it was Dropout and the cast’s desire to opt out of all dynamic pricing tickets for this event and for all events going forward.
Thankfully, the average cost of all tickets sold so far (over 15,000 now!) is $119, meaning the vast majority of fans attending got tickets at a much more reasonable price, and dynamic pricing nonsense only kicked in for the few remaining seats. Even still, plenty of fans who wanted to attend got priced out quickly, and so we’re aiming to address that here and in the future in a few different ways:
1. Stop the dynamic pricing options for this show and all future shows.
2. Introducing Dimensioneer Tickets - a lottery system where selected individuals will have the opportunity to buy up to two tickets for $35/each (for seats placed all over the event space, including the best seats in the house). Apparently it’s something Olivia Rodrigo does! Thanks for the idea, Olivia. Links for that will be distributed soon.
3. This was already announced, but a recording of the live show will be going up on Dropout at no additional cost for all Dropout subscribers. We want to make our live shows as accessible to fans as possible, but the truth is that if you can't get to New York, if you can't get the night off work, if you can't afford the flight or the hotel, then you still can't go regardless of ticket prices. The most significant thing to us is that the live shows end up where the show itself lives, and that all our fans all over the world get a chance to participate.
We are so deeply grateful to everyone who has supported Dropout and Dimension 20 over the years and made this event sell out so quickly. And now that we have a better sense of how all of this works, the next live show will go much smoother. That’s been the journey of Dropout and Dimension 20 - trying a bunch of stuff, figuring out what works, and doing it better the next time around. And ultimately, we’re so grateful to have a venue that can accommodate so many of you. We could never have dreamed five years ago of having thousands of you in one place.
In the meantime, everyone at Dropout is on a two week companywide hiatus, and the cast of Dimension 20 is kicking off their UK live show tour in just a few days. Fans of Dimension 20 will have a LOT to look forward to in the next year, so stay tuned."

I am currently detained in an Israeli jail, the result of refusing to attend or cooperate with criminal charges laid against me and two others for joining Palestinian protests in the West Bank against Israel’s colonial rule. Because I am an Israeli citizen, the proceedings in the case are held in an Israeli court in Jerusalem and not at the military court, where Palestinians are tried.
It has been almost nine years since the last time I was incarcerated for more than a day or two. Much has changed since. Politically, reality does not even resemble that of a decade ago, and none of the changes were for the better.
Politically, the world seems to have lost much of its interest in the Palestinian struggle for liberation, placing Israel at one of the historical peaks of its political strength. I am in no position to discuss the profound changes within Israeli society and how even farther to the right it has drifted. Israeli liberals are much better suited for such a task, because they hold their country dear and feel a sense of belonging that I cannot feel and do not want to feel.
Personally, I am older, more tired and, mostly, not as healthy as I was. Of course, the price I have paid for my part in the struggle is a fraction of that paid by Palestinian comrades, but I cannot deny its subjective weight on me: from physical injuries, some irreversible, through sporadic despair, anxiety and sense of helplessness, to the encumbering sensation of loss and the presence of death – and the grip all these have on my day-to-day life. And yet, the more things change, the more they stay the same. Right now, just as it was back then, sitting in prison is better than any other alternative available to me.
The legal fallacies that riddle the case against us are of little significance. While it is fair to assume that had I agreed to cooperate, the trial would have ended up with an acquittal, my refusal to recognize the court’s legitimacy is based on two main grounds.
The first is that my Palestinian comrades do not enjoy the luxury of being tried in the relatively comfortable conditions of the Israeli courts. Rather, they are tried as subjects in the parody of a legal system that are Israel’s military courts. Unlike me, Palestinians do not have the option of refusing to cooperate with their captors, since the vast majority of them are tried while remanded into custody for the duration of their proceedings.
Additionally, the punishment Palestinians are faced with is significantly harsher than that specified in Israeli law. Thus, in this regard as well, despite refusing to recognize the court’s legitimacy, the price I am likely to pay is significantly lower than that paid by my comrades.
The second, more fundamental ground to refuse to cooperate is that all Israeli courts, military or otherwise, lack any legitimacy to preside over matters of resisting Israeli colonial rule, which employs a hybrid regime, ranging between a distorted and racially discriminatory democracy in its sovereign territory and a flat-out military dictatorship in the occupied territories.
Faced with the tremendous shift to the right in Israeli politics, the shrinking remnants of the Zionist left – once the country’s dominant elite group – are consumed by lamenting the decline of Israeli democracy. But what democracy is it they wish to defend? The one that has dispossessed its Palestinian citizens of their lands and their rights? The one that, at best, views these Palestinian citizens as second-class? Perhaps it is the democracy that governs the Gaza Strip through vicious siege while it reigns as a military dictatorship in the West Bank?
Despite the obvious nature of the Israeli regime, Israeli liberals are not willing to contest the fundamental premise of internal Israeli discourse and acknowledge that the State of Israel simply is not a democracy. Never was.
To join the fight to topple Israeli apartheid, the few Jewish citizens of Israel willing to do so will first have to recognize that they are overprivileged and be willing to pay the price of relinquishing that status. An open rebellion against the regime has been taking place for decades, carried out by the Palestinian resistance movement. The price paid by those involved in it is immense. Jewish citizens of Israel must cross over and walk in their footsteps.

john price dad headcannons
wc: 1.3k warnings: fluff, angst, feelings of abandonment, found family trope, afab reader, inaccurate descriptions of adoption, tf141 cameo a/n: i have been going thorugh it ya'll and i just needed something self indulgent, but pt 2 for roommate konig is coming soon! MINORS DNI (have your age in your bio or you're getting blocked)
Price knew he wanted to be a dad from his early twenties, but he felt like a partner was off the table due to his line of work
He was so wary of adoption because if a partner wasn’t an option for him how would he feel about abandoning a child???
Nonetheless Price knew what he wanted in life and a child was all he needed and more
He started the adoption process once he turned 30
Oh man when he saw you for the first time he knew in his heart that he would give you the world! You had that man wrapped around your little finger before you even knew it
You had been in the foster system since you were 4 years old and you had just turned 10 around the time the time that Price was interested in adopting
Needless to say it was more and more disheartening as the years went on and nobody was interested in making you part of their family especially since you were now on the older side
The day that Price had come in and the social work case manager had come in to tell you that the man wanted to see you, oh your heart was beating a 100 miles a minute trying to culminate the best strategy to make the best first impression
The social case work manager left you two alone to get comfortable and feel out how the two of you would get along
Price is embarrassed to this day about how nervous he was to talk to a 10 year old LMAO he was sweating
You guys got along great in no time and there were wholesome laughs for the whole hour
Right before he left he gave you a pat on your head and said “I’m coming right back for you sweetheart, just you wait.”
And man did you wait
Two months to be exact and it was a devastating feeling
You felt abandoned again and it hurt even more since you thought you really found a forever home
Once he finally did come back you just couldn’t hold back the tears and you wrapped your arms around his torso and refused to let go until the social worker has to pry you off so Price could proceed with the paperwork
Two weeks after that is when you officially moved into his home and you were vibrating with excitement in the backseat the whole car ride
He scooped you up from the backseat and piggybacked you into the home and your eyes were glimmering both from tears and from how happy you were to have a place called home
Price commemorated your first day home with a selfie of you two make silly faces and his bucket hat placed on your head that was much too big on you
He printed that picture immediately to put it on the fridge
Price was a superstellar dad for you
(You were a little bit spoiled, but Price would never admit to that)
He would watch youtube videos on how to do different hairstyles for you, he tried to attend all your sports competitions, and was there for your first orchestra recital!
The first time you properly called him dad instead of John was when he came to see your flute solo that you had in your sixth grade winter concert
Once you were done you frantically left backstage to look for him and he snuck up behind you to pick you up into a bear hug
He brought a bouquet of flowers for you and placed a kiss on the top of your head
“I’m so proud of you sweetheart.” Oh man did that open the floodgates for you
You hugged him so tight and it was muffled into his shirt but Price would hear it as clear as day: “I love you so much dad. Thanks for everything.”
The both you were sniveling messes the whole way home that night
Though when he did miss your school and extracurricular events there was always stung a bit more than you would care to admit
He would always apologize to you about his work duties and then leave you in the care of a trusted, live-in babysitter
It got even more annoying as you got older because he was very secretive about his job and never disclosed anything he did and you just wanted to know something
What does he do that makes him gone for weeks to MONTHS at a time???
The first time you met Task Force 141 was an accident and it was when you were 16
You were home after school hanging out with Price watching movies and was waiting for pizza to come
Once he heard the knock on the door he went to go get it, but he was taking a lot longer than expected and your stomach was starting to hurt from how hungry you were
“Dad, what's taking so long with the pizza?”
You reached the foyer and saw three very large men standing at the door and one of them was wearing a mask (???)
“Who are these people, dad? Am I Interrupting something?” You had a very weary eye on them and took a step back
They all looked at you then each other with the widest eyes and Price just stood there letting out the biggest sigh
“Boys, this is my daughter. Sweetheart this is Gaz, Ghost, and Soap.”
Oh these people were weird
The two unmasked ones were grinning at you and the masked one was looking at you with such a scrutinizing look and it made you squirm
You quickly made it over to your dad and got on your tippy toes to whisper something in his ear
“Dad, you have weird friends. I don’t like them at all.” He let out a cough that you’re pretty sure was used to cover up a laugh
“They’re also my…coworkers.”
This made you raise your eyebrow out of curiosity
“I see…so what is it that you guys do?”
The one with the mohawk was about to speak until Price told you to wait in your room until him and his coworkers were done speaking
You sighed and locked yourself upstairs
“Mates, I want not a single word uttered about this in the slightest.” He pointed a firm finger at each of the men
“What’s the lassie’s name at least?”
“Y/N, Mactavish now leave it alone!”
Needless to say Soap nor the rest of the 141 left it alone and you practically became their little sister
They watched you grow up and were there for the night of your prom
They scared the piss out of your date and you got so angry
Your dad escorted them all inside to let you have privacy with your date
Price mostly rushed inside because he was about to start tearing up and he didn't want you to see him cry
They were there at your high school graduation too and you have a framed picture on your desk of all of them with big smiles holding you close with your diploma in hand
Now that you're in college it’s a lot harder to be away from them and especially your dad and there are nights where you just stare at the ceiling and clutch the stuffed teddy bear Price got you when you were younger and just look forward to when you’ll see them again
They try and make visits at least once every 2-3 months and it’s never boring whenever they come
Gaz and Soap try and gossip with you about any new boys you’ve met in college and Price likes to act uninterested but you know he has his ear angled in the direction of all three of you to see what you say
No matter the distance you know you have your forever family and they are your home no matter where you are or where they are.

The Bayou Billiard - Joe Burrow
Tumblr media
Summary: The most popular Pool Hall in Baton Rouge, Louisiana is one of your favorite places to hang out with your friends… But what happens when the new quarterback for the LSU football team and his friends challenge you and your friends to a game of Pool?
Genre: Fluff (Meet-Cute Trope)
Tumblr media
The Bayou Billiard is the most popular pool hall in Baton Rouge for people to enjoy having fun throughout the night of playing a few rounds at the pool tables while having a few drinks at a discounted price.
Ever since you moved to Baton Rouge to attend your required semesters at Louisiana State University, The Bayou Billiard is the place where you and your friends have spent your free-time hanging out at over the weekend after a long week of classes and work.
Tonight at The Bayou Billiard wasn’t a busy night like how it usual is, by the time you and your friends had arrived at the Pool Hall the big crowd of people that were there earlier in the night had already left and you don’t expect another big crowd to arrive since The Bayou Billiard will be closing at 2am.
As you and your friends are walked into the Pool Hall after getting your IDs by the security guard to make sure y’all were above the age of 18… You look around and see that the only other group of people playing at a pool table was a group of older men that play at the pool tables every weekend like your group of friends.
“I’m so happy tonight isn’t as busy like the last time we were here.” your friend, Alice says as everyone is walking towards the pool table that was at the back of the pool hall.
“I know… Last weekend we almost waited an hour for a pool table to be open!” Remi exclaims. “At least we had drinks to keep us company while we waited, I would’ve lost my mind if I had to wait long while being sober.”
“Speaking of drinks…” Avery says. “What does everyone want to drink, I’ll go gets our drinks before the game starts. Because we all know that playing pool is always better with alcohol in our systems!”
After the three of you told Avery what drinks to order; a spicy jalapeño margarita for Alice, a lemon drop martini for Remi, and a strawberry daiquiri for you. The first round of pool was starting to be set up by the three of you after Alice had out the right amount of counts in the pool table slot to retrieve the billiard balls.
It didn’t take long for Avery to return from the bar with four drinks in her hand, everyone takes their drink from her hands to place on the side-table right by the pool table… After spending a few minutes deciding the teams between the four of you, the first round between you and Alice vs Remi and Avery was about to begin.
It was decided that you were going to take the first shot of the game to break up the triangle of billiard balls on the pool table… After spending a minute lining up the billiard cue stick as perfectly as you can, you make your shot and the billiard balls spread out everywhere across the pool table with one of the solid balls landing in the pocket of the pool table.
“Nice shot!” Alice exclaims, as she gives you a high five. “We already have a point on the scoreboard and the game only just started!”
“There’s a reason everyone says I’m the best pool player in Baton Rouge.” you exclaim as you pick up your drink from the side-table.
You watched as Avery takes her first shot of the game trying to hit one of the stripe balls into the pocket net to score a point for her team but, she fails to make the shot as the white ball hits the stripe ball in the opposite direction of where Avery wanted it to go.
“Shit!” Avery frustratedly exclaims. “I hate pool.”
“Avery calm down…” you say, “It’s the first round, drink some of your pink lemonade vodka and you’ll be fine.”
After Avery’s turn, it was Alice’s turn to take her shot next and after a seconds of debating what is the right move to do. Alice takes her shot and hits a solid ball into the pocket net, causing you to cheer as another point for your team is added to the scoreboard.
The four of you take turns of trying to take a shot and score one of the solid balls or strips balls into the pocket net… It was hard for you to tell so early on in the game how long this round of pool would be. Sometimes a round of pool could take ten minutes to finish and sometimes a round of pool could take an hour to finish, it just depends on how good or bad everyone is playing the game of pool.
As the game was getting started, you look over towards the front door of the Pool Hall and see a group of three guys that you couldn’t recognize walk into the building… One of the boys looked your way and gave you a smile as the two of you made eye contact with each other. The boy smiled and waved at you and before you could wave back to him, Avery’s hand was placed on your shoulder causing you to turn your attention back to your friends and the game of Pool.
“Y/N it’s your turn!” Remi exclaims, after taking her shot with one of the stripe balls making into the pockets of the pool table, scoring a point for her team.
As you are lining up your pool stick to try and make the perfect shot of hitting another solid ball into the pocket meg, your eyes look towards the bar when you see the dirty blonde boy looking towards you with a drink in his hand and a smile on his face. You try not blush as you focus your attention back into the pool table and you take your shot, the white ball hits the solid ball just a few inches away from the pocket net.
“Ugh… I almost scored that.” you groan in frustration.
As you watch Avery and Remi debate between the two of them what is the right move to do next since there aren’t any stripped balls that are easy to score… Alice walks closer to you and puts her hand on your shoulder like she did before. “Do you know the guy that you were staring at?!” Alice asks.
“No.” you answer in a low tone. “He’s cute but, am I supposed to know who that is?!”
“That’s Joe Burrow.” Alice says. “He’s the new Quarterback for the LSU football team:”
“Oh… That’s interesting to know.” you say, looking over Alice’s shoulder to see that Joe Burrow and his friends have moved away from the bar to start their own game at one of the pool tables.
“Yeah… and I know you saw him watching your last round which is why you messed up.” Alice says.
“Umm… I don’t know what you’re talking about?!” you say, turning your attention away from Joe Burrow and his friends to Avery taking her shot to try and score.
“I’m not stupid… I saw that you noticed he was watching you and you got nervous which is why you missed.” Alice says as Avery hit one of the stripe balls into the pocket net and scored a point.
“So you’re telling me that if a cute boy was watching you play pool you wouldn’t be nervous as well?!” you ask. Alice shrugs her shoulders and walks around the pool table because it now her turn to take a shot.
Even though you should be watching Alice, you couldn’t help but turn your attention to Joe Burrow and his friends at their pool table… Joe Burrow is a name that you’ve heard before as people were talking about the new student that had transferred from Ohio State University to join the football team, but it wasn’t until now where you were able to put a face to the name.
You watched as Joe Burrow took the first shot of their Pool game, breaking the triangle of billiard balls apart just like you had done just a little while ago… When Joe looks up from the pool table, he sees that you watched him and y you nod your head, approving of his shot.
Just as your turn your attention back to your pool table, Alice had taken her shot and didn’t hit another solid ball into the pocket net.
The only noises that could be heard in The Bayou Billiard Pool Hall was the sound of the music playing through the speakers, billiard balls being hit along the table and chatter amongst the groups of people… While it was loud in the Pool Hall, the noises around you wasn’t a bother or distraction to the game of Pool.
When it wasn’t your turn to take a shot, you were watching Joe Burrow and his friends play Pool and every now and then the two of you would make eye contact and smile at each other… you had to admit that Joe Burrow was a good Pool player as much as he is talked about being a good football player.
When the first round of Pool between you and Alice vs Remi and Avery came to an end with you scoring the winning point for your team… You decided to bring your empty glasses of the drinks to the bar to get a refill as the other three girls chatted amongst each other while resetting the pool table for another round.
“I’ve never seen someone so good at Pool.” a voice from behind says. When you turn around, you see Joe Burrow standing behind you with a smile on his face and an empty glass in his hand.
“Thank you.” you reply. “I love having an audience watch me while I take my shots at the pool table.”
Joe Burrow chuckles, “I’m glad you enjoy having an audience.” he takes a seat next to you at the bar and places the empty glass onto the countertop while you’re waiting for the new drinks to be made.
“I’m Joe Burrow ” he says, reaching his hand out.
“I’m Y/FN Y/LN.” you say as you shake his hand. “So… I’ve actually heard a-lot about you Mr. Joe Burrow.”
A confused look appears on Joe’s face before he has a quick realization of what you meant by what you said. “Oh yeah… Are you a student at LSU?!” he asks.
“Yes I am. I’m going into my junior year this semester.” you answer. “There’s been a lot of talk about the new Quarterback so I’m glad to put a face to the name.”
“Yeah, I guess I’m a hot topic at LSU right now but I’m excited to be at LSU. It’s nice to meet someone else that is a student at LSU because I only know those 3 guys over there.” Joe says pointing over to the group of guys that are hanging around the pool table.
“Well… my friends over there all are students at LSU too. So it looks like you can meet a few more students from LSU.” you reply as the bartender comes back with the drinks for your group.
“That’s good to know.” Joe says giving you a smile. Before you could say something to Joe, you heard your name being called. When you turn to look over your shoulder, you see Alice signaling to you that the next round of Pool is about to start.
You turn back to Joe and give him a soft smile. “I got to go. The next round of Pool is starting.”
“It’s okay… Hopefully we have to chance to talk again later.” Joe says. “Go beat their ass Miss Pool Queen.”
There is a light blush on your face as you stand up and grab the drinks from the counter so that you can walk back over to the pool table where Avery, Remi, and Alice were finishing setting up the Pool table.
“So… Who was that guy you were talking too?!” Remi asks, as she takes her drink out of your hand then you place the other three drinks down onto the side table.
“Y/N was talking to Joe Burrow.” Alice says.
“Joe Burrow as in the new Quarterback?!” Remi asks. You and Alice nod your heads. “Wow… What did the two of you talk about?!” she asks.
“Nothing much…” you answer. “We just introduced ourselves and he said that I was good at playing pool.”
The conversation was over as the second round began. This time, you and Avery were on the same team trying to hit the stripe balls into the pocket nets going against Remi and Alice as they are on the same team trying to hit the solid balls into the pocket nets.
As the other girls were taking their shots, your attention would be on Joe and his friends as they were playing their second round of pool. You’ve never been so distracted while playing Pool but, you couldn’t help that there was a cute guy who kept giving you a smile when the two of you would make eye contact.
Joe would watch you from afar when it was your turn to take a shot to try and hit one of the stripped balls into the pocket nets. He wasn’t lying when he said that he’s never seen someone so good at playing Pool.
One of Joe’s skills is that he is very good at observing people around him. It was very easy for him to notice how competitive you are when it comes to Pool, just like how competitive Joe is when it comes to playing football. Joe seeing how competitive you can be makes him wonder how competitive you can get when it comes to playing other sports.
The second round of Pool lasted much longer than the first round and the game ends with you and Avery winning by hitting the black ball into the pocket net. When you looked at the time, it was past midnight and there was only an hour and a half left until The Bayou Billiard would close for the night.
“Let’s take a small break and then we can play one more round before we leave.” Alice says, placing all of the billiard cue sticks back onto the stand.
“Yeah that’s sounds good… I need another drink.” Avery says as she takes her empty glass and starts walking to the bar for another refill of her pink lemonade vodka drink.
“I’m going order some food… Playing two rounds of pool have made me hungry!” Remi exclaims.
“Yeah I’m hungry too.” Alice says. “And we’ll be entertained by watching other people play pool.”
When the three of you walked over to the seating area, y’all quickly ordered some food to eat before sitting at one of the tables where you had a good view of Joe and his friends who were still playing their second round of Pool… After Avery received her refilled drink, she comes over to sit at the table and the four of you talk while waiting for the food to arrive at the table.
The four of you are in a deep conversation as you watch Joe and his friends play Pool. Joe wasn’t the best player of Pool that you’ve watched but he wasn’t the worse player of Pool… You could see that he really was trying his best to hit the solid balls into the pocket net whenever it was his turn to take a shot and you could see that it frustrated him when he would miss his chance to score for his team.
“Hey Y/N!” Joe yells which causes you and your friends to turn the attention towards him and his friends. “Watch this!”
Joe lines up his billiard cue stick and takes his shot to score but fails as the solid ball rolls just an inch to far from the pocket net which causes everyone to laugh.
“Joe that couldn’t have gone any worse!” one of the boys exclaimed. With an embarrassed look on his face, Joe looks over to you and sees you give a him smile.
“Nice shot Burrow!” you yell out. “But next time, aim to hit the solid ball into the pocket net!” which causes everyone to laugh as the boys continue their game.
It was fun to watch Joe and his friends play Pool while you and the girls eat the food that had arrived at the table. You noticed how competitive Joe is when it comes to the game of Pool, he is very focused on the white ball as one his friends takes a shot to hit a striped ball into the pocket net.
As you watched the game, you realized that you’ve never watched people play Pool before and you’ve only ever played the game… It was nice for a change to be in the audience during an intense game of Pool.
Just as you and your friends were finished eating at the table, the game of Pool between Joe and his friends was over… You wondered if Joe and his friends were going to play another round of Pool or if they were planning on leaving the Pool Hall since it was getting closer to closing time.
As you were setting up the billiard balls in the triangle to prepare to start the final Pool game of the night, you felt a tap on your shoulder which causes you to turn around to see Joe standing behind you with a smile on his face.
“Hey Joe!” you exclaim. “What’s up?!”
“The boys and I had this idea.” Joe says. “We decided that we’re going to play one more round of Pool and we overheard you and your friends talking about playing one more round… So we thought it would be a fun idea to do boys vs girls for the last Pool game of the night.”
“That’s sounds like a fun idea!” you exclaim. “But are you and boys sure that y’all want to go up against the best Pool player you’ve ever seen?!”
“That’s a challenge that I’m willing to take.” Joe says. “So are you and the girls in for the game?!” Before you can answer Joe’s challenge for a game at Pool between the two friend groups, the girls who had been listening to the conversation decided to answer for you.
“We accept the challenge!” Avery exclaims. “With Y/N on our team, we’re definitely going to kick your ass!”
“Trust me… I have some secret Pool moves that I have been hiding up my sleeve.” Joe claims, walking back over to his friends to let them know that y’all accept their challenge for the final Pool game of the night.
Since there was three boys and four girls, Avery decided to sit out of the game to just watch everyone play. So the teams were you, Alice and Remi vs Joe, Ja’marr and Justin… The final game of Pool started with you taking the first shot to break up the triangle.
Joe decided to take his turn next and he’s lining up his shot. The girls decided to tease Joe to distract him. “Are you going to dedicate this shot to Y/N?!” Remi asks him. “We remember what happened the last time you dedicated a shot to her.”
“Hey! We’re playing a fair game!” Ja’Marr exclaims.
“We are playing fair!” Alice says. “A game of Pool isn’t fun without a little bit of teasing and alcohol!”
Joe takes his shot and hits the stripe ball into the pocket net which means that the boys will try to hit the stripe balls into the pocket nets while the girls will try to hit the solid balls into the pocket nets.
Ja’marr and Justin cheer and give Joe a few high fives to celebrate him getting the first score of the game. “Nice shot Burrow!” you exclaim, “Keep hitting shots like that and soon enough you’ll win a game of Pool!”
Alice is next to take her shot for your team. Both you and Joe are standing next to each other as you watch her think about what should she do since there aren’t any easy solid balls to hit into the pocket nets.
“So how long have you been playing Pool.” Joe asks, as everyone else was so focused on the Pool game and not paying attention to you and Joe.
“I’ve been playing Pool since I was a kid. My dad was a big fan of playing Pool and we had our own Pool table in our house in the game room.” you answer.
“Your dad taught you your good Pool skills?!” Joe asks.
You nod your head and smile. “Yeah he did teach me the good Pool skills. Us playing Pool was always one of my favorite ways that we would spend time together.”
“That sounds nice.” Joe says. “Just like how you and your dad spent time together playing Pool, my dad and I spent time together playing football in the backyard.”
You give him a smile before turning you attention back to the Pool table to watch your friends take their turns but Joe wanted to continue the conversation between the two of you while he has the chance.
“So what are you studying at LSU?” he asks.
“I’m studying in LSU’s dental program so right now I’m majoring in Biology and Chemistry but I do plan on going to the Dental school after I get my degree.” you answer. “My mom is a Dentist so I want to follow in her footsteps and hopefully work with her one day.”
“Oh that’s interesting.” Joe says. “Does she work at a dentist place in Louisiana?!”
“No she doesn’t.” you reply. “My family lives Michigan, I just moved to Louisiana to attend LSU’s dental program because it was the best offer that I received.”
“Oh… so you’re from up north of America like me!” Joe exclaims. “I’m from Ohio and I’m here in Louisiana to play football and get my masters degree.”
Before you could continue the conversation, you were interrupted by Remi. “Y/N it’s your turn!” she exclaims.
You give Joe a smile before walking over to grab a pool stick and you examine the balls on the pool table… It doesn’t take you longer to realize there’s a easy shot of hitting a solid ball into one of the pocket nets that you could make as long you don’t mess up your aim.
As you’re lining up your shot, you look up and see Joe smiling at you. “Stop smiling at me like that Burrow.” you mumble under your breathe and you can see Joe’s smile grow bigger when he heard what you said.
You take your shot and hit the solid ball into the pocket net that you were aiming for, as the girls cheered around you… Joe was examining the pool table to see what the easier shot would be for him to take so that he could go back to talking to you until your next turn.
When Joe was finished with his turn which allowed him to score another point for the boys’ team. He walks back over to where you are standing with a grin on his face, “Now that was a nice shot wasn’t it?” he asks.
“It sure was Burrow.” you say. “Soon enough you’ll be just as good as a Pool player as I am!”
As the rest of the group is taking their turns of playing Pool, you and Joe continued your conversation… There was a lot that you learned about the new LSU Quarterback in just the few minutes that the two of you had in between your turns of the Pool game to talk.
You noticed every now and then during your conversation with Joe, one of the girls would be watching the two of you and try to listen to conversation… You knew that later on during the night they will ask about your conversations with Joe.
As much as you loved playing Pool with the group of friends, you didn’t want the conversations with Joe to end… There was always a smile on his face and a light in his eyes when he was talking to you, he’s never been so interested in talking to a stranger in his life.
Joe told you about what life was like living in Ohio and his years of being a student at Ohio State while you told him what life is like living in Louisiana these past few years and what he could expect of the transition from living up north in America to living down south.
By the end of the second round of everyone taking turns, there wasn’t much left of the game to be played… As you examined the Pool table, there was only one solid ball and one stripe ball to hit into the pocket nets before having to take the chance of hitting the black ball into one of the pocket nets to win.
It was a hard shot that you could’ve easily missed, but you hit the final solid ball into pocket net and the girls cheered… Now it was Joe’s turn to take a shot and as long as he didn’t make one of the stripe balls into the pocket net, this will be the girl’s game of Pool to win.
“Good luck Burrow… you’re going to need it!” you say with a cheeky grin on your face.
There’s a smile on his face that he couldn’t hide even if he tried as he takes his shot, hitting the last stripe balls into the pocket net… Just like how the girls had cheered for you, the boys cheered from him because now it was time to play to win the game of Pool.
“I think that Y/N and Joe should take the final shots of the game until one of them hits the black ball into the pocket nets.” Avery exclaims.
“Are you just offering that suggestion because you know that the girls team will win most likely win the game because of Y/N.” Justin says.
“Maybe…” Avery says.
“I’m fine with that if it’s good with Joe and Y/N!” Ja’marr says with Remi and Alice agreeing with him.
You turn to look at Joe with a grin on your face. “I’m fine with that if you’re fine with it Burrow!” you say.
Joe puts his hand out for you to shake, “I’m fine with it. May the best Pool player win the final round.”
Alice hands you the billiard cue stick that she was just about to use to play and you make your way around the pool table to where the black ball is at after Joe’s turn.
The group around you is silent as you take your shot, you try not the look up at Joe because you know he’s going to distract you from your shot… Since you would’ve risked missing the shot to one of the pocket nets which would’ve caused Joe to score an easy victory for the boys team, you hit the black ball to a spot where Joe would have a lot of trouble hitting it into one of the pocket nets of the Pool table.
“You did that on purpose!” Joe exclaims and you shrug your shoulders with a grin on your face.
“Like I’ve said before Burrow… you’re will need all of the good luck you can get!” you say moving out of his way so he can get to your spot around the Pool table.
You watch as Joe examines the Pool table and then lines-up his shot to take. A smirk appeared on your face as you watched the black ball fail to be hit into the pocket net that Joe was aiming for.
“Ugh!” Joe exclaims in frustration. “I was so close!”
“But not close enough!” you say in a teasing tone. All eyes were on you as you walked around to the opposite side of the Pool table from where the black ball was… From the quick examination you did, Joe had made it very easy for you to make the shot into one of the closest pocket net. It would be very embarrassing if you missed the shot and allowing Joe to win the game.
“No pressure!” Joe said. You rolled your eyes at his comment as you start to line up your shot. When you look up, you can see Joe giving you the smile he gave you earlier during the night that had distracted you.
The entire group watched as you took the last shot of the game and hit the black ball into the pocket net that you had aimed for… The girls cheered in celebration that they won the Pool game while the boys groaned in frustration that they lost the Pool game.
“Nice shot!” Remi exclaimed.
“That was a fun game of Pool!” Justin says. “We have to do it again in the future.”
“Yeah I want a rematch!” Ja’marr says.
“We’ll play another game of Pool in the future!” Alice say. “There’s only 15 minutes before the Pool hall will close so we better get going soon!”
Everyone started to clean up the area around the Pool table and packed up their belonging because y’all wanted to get out of the Pool Hall as fast as you can before y’all got kicked out why the employees.
It didn’t take long for everyone to clean up and pack up. With just 10 minutes until the Pool Hall closes, the group was out of the front door and it was time to say your goodbyes before heading your separate ways.
You were just about to follow behind Alice, Remi, and Avery to where the Uber would be picking the four of you up at… You felt someone grab your wrist which causes you to turn around and see Joe smiling at you.
“I had a fun night hanging out with you.” Joe says.
“I had a fun night hanging out with you too.” you reply.
“So… hopefully this ain’t coming off a bit to forward but, can I have your phone number?” he asks.
You nod your head and then he pulls out his phone from the back pocket of his jeans. He unlocks the phone and then give it to you for you to put your phone number in his contacts… When you give the phone back to him, he immediately texts you so that you can have his number in your phone before putting his phone back in the back pocket of his jeans.
“I guess now it’s only makes sense for me to ask you if you’ll love to meet me here at The Bayou Billiard for a date next week?!” Joe asks.
You give him a kiss on the cheek, “I’ll see you here next week at The Bayou Billiard!” before walking away to catch up with the girls with a smile on your face.
Tumblr media
never thought that I’ll write a fanfiction that wasn’t inspired by a song, but here we are with a fanfiction that is loosely inspired by a personal experience that i’ve had while playing pool with a group of friends at The Bayou Billiard.
thank you all for the love and support! 🤍

PART ONE
Chaze had heard a rumor that there was a place that you could buy special clothes and footwear made specifically from human beings who either volunteer to become property of another person or was unfortunate to be forced to do so. He heard that once you bought it, human transformed clothes or footwear was yours to do with as you pleased. It no longer had human rights. It was an object for its owners' use and nothing more. At first, Chaze thought that was a bit cruel until he read the reviews about human transformed clothing and footwear. All the reviews stated that durability is way beyond normal objects. The level of comfort outmatched normal objects. Even though human transformed objects do get dirty, they still last for years longer than normal objects. Seeing this, he had to have some for himself. Even though he knew the objects would be former humans, whether voluntary or involuntary, he wanted to own clothing and footwear that he could keep for years without great damage.
Chaze found the address to the store and went shopping the next day. Once at the store, he saw it was unlike anything he expected. There were computer stations on the main floor with an attendant next to each one to assist each customer. There were no shelves with items. An attendant approaches him. "Are you looking to purchase items from our collection?" The young female attendant asked.
"Actually, yes. How does this work? I have never been in a store like this before." He spoke and asked. "Follow me." She directed over to her station.
"On the screen, you select the material you want. Once selected, you then pick what you want the object to become. And that is pretty much it. Our inventory has both female and male objects to choose from. All are over the age of twenty-five years old and nothing over fifty-five years old." The attendant reported while showing him the screen.
"Another question, which are voluntary and which aren't?" Chaze asked with curiosity. He just wanted to know since he was literally selecting people to become his objects and property.
The attendant presses some areas on the screen. "Those with a green check are ones who willingly want to be an object for another person's purpose. As to why they willingly give their humanity forever, I really don't know. Those with a red X are ones who unfortunately have no choice. Whether it be because of the justice system or they owe a lot of debt and this is the only way their debt collectors get their money. " The attendant paused as she brought up the payment screen. "The pricing depends on your choices. Males cost more while females are half priced. The object pricing also depends on what you want the object to be. Beside each selection is the cost, so you will know how much you are paying for someone's human life to be your personal property. If there aren't any more questions, you may begin shopping." The attendant let him have full access to the screen.
Chaze knew exactly what he wanted. A pair of new socks, new cowboy boots, and underwear that could handle his waist since normal underwear only lasted only three weeks at a time. He scrolled through the listing. He saw a couple of red Xs. One was by a criminal who was in his late forties that was serving a life sentence for murder of ten people over the course of several years. He selected him for a sock. He found the other red X to be a resent arrestee who could not pay his bail. He was arrested for stealing several high-end cars off a car lot. He selected him as a sock. He now had his pair of socks. Both lives cost $75 a piece, plus being socks was $10 apiece. He really didn't feel bad about taking their humanity to use as comfort for his feet. Both were criminals. They would serve society best by comforting his feet for the rest of their lives. He smiled at that thought.
Next, Chaze wanted a pair of boots. He continued to scroll through the list of material to pick from. He saw one with a green check. It was a young guy in his early twenties who wanted a life of no worries or having to make decisions. He quickly selected him. As a boot, he would definitely get that kind of life. His existence would only serve to support his feet. The next green check he found interesting was a woman that had gone into hiding from some crime syndicate. He didn't know why she would select this way of hiding, but no crime syndicate would be looking for a transformed boot. He selected here to create a matching pair. He now had two volunteers and two involuntary transformed objects.
The last object he wanted was a pair of transformed underwear. He continued to scroll till he saw a name that looked familiar. He brought up the picture. It was the face of his old high school bully that tormented his life all of middle school and high school. Apparently, he was in debt to several credit companies. This was their way of getting paid the money they were owed. He selected him to be his underwear. He added one note to his selection. He wanted the face to be at the rear end. He remembered the times that the guy would sit on his face and fart on him. It would be poetic justice for his old bully to literally be his underwear for the rest of his life. Now, he gets to sit on his face as often as he wanted. He couldn't wait for that part.
The one boot cost $100 plus the $20 boot transformation. While the other boot was discounted at $50 plus the $20 boot transformation. His underwear was more pricey with a $200 cost plus the $15 underwear transformation charge. Chaze selected check out to see his grand total. Even though his old bully was expensive, it was worth the cost to torment him the rest of his life. The full total came to $575 plus a $25 tax charge. He swiped his bank card, paying a full total of $600. He felt a little weird that he just paid $600 to forever own former human lives, but they now belong to him as the customer who just shopped for transformed objects.
"Your objects will be ready to pick up in two hours." The attendant responded as she let a new customer know her station was ready for a new shopper. Chaze got up so that someone else could go shopping online. As he walked around, he saw that every station was busy with others waiting to go shopping. The thought that he wasn't the only one buying human lives to use as objects astounded him. He waited at one of the bars while his purchases were being prepared.
Two hours later, he was called up. He came to the counter. The sales clerk behind the counter handed him a bag. Inside was a pair of white cotton socks, a pair of boots, and underwear. The sales clerk handed him his receipt.
Back at his car, Chaze pulled out the underwear from the bag. "Hello Blake. It's Chaze from middle and high school. It's the nerd you tormented for fun. You are my underwear now. My ass gets to torment you." He placed the underwear back in the bag and drove home. He couldn't wait to wear his new underwear. That one article he bought he would wear every for a solid two months straight. He smiled at that thought.

Huge Announcement from PrettyBusy! 1.10
First, this is quite long btw, if you'd like to read it for yourself please look on their website! They haven't uploaded it on their social medias just yet, but also check WHB Updates on twt in case I miss anything. I'm really only going to highlight the stuff I care about and wish to speak on! But overall there's a lot they're changing up and giving us in the future so this shows promise.
Tumblr media
So! I like the timing of their pacing of releasing new chapters. I want them to take their time, the writers especially to give us some good stuff to read because I highly doubt they're gonna change the amount of battles between each story node. .-. And if they do then great!
They do give some info about friend systems (getting materials and items by having friends etc.) the Minhyeok mini game and additional chats being added.
Tumblr media
So it seems here that we will get to battle the angels for additional items. They say you can loot them from their realms...so I wonder how this is going to go! Though it sounds like these battles are going to be harder than usual so make sure to beef up your teams/cards since the conditions need to be met.
Tumblr media
SKRUNKLY MAMMON („ಡωಡ„)
But yay birthday stuff! I'm hoping they do it before my birthday date which is later in that month...because otherwise I'd have to wait until next year :(
Also they say that we will get to decorate the lobby with a single theme, icon packages will be added in the future, but they will give us icons for all the devils for the ones we have it sounds like.
Stickers of Ppyong are rewarded, they say 'line' so it makes me think of the messaging service LINE but I'm not sure if that's what they mean.
Now here's the big one
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So now when we hit the pity threshold we will be able to select the character we want instead of just hoping we get whichever one we want. This is a big thumbs up from me because I think if ppl are throwing in that much money they should get what they want.
Tumblr media
Now to address the 500 monthly Solomon Seals. They are letting us collect this by attendance and quests. I'm fine with that because I already do this with the Solomon Tears. I did peep some complaints (very few though) that didn't like the fact that they had to do stuff in order to get it. Come on now guys, you didn't think they were just gonna give us paid currency for free each month. Even I know better.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
AND the Pancake Shop change. This one I am a bit worried about simply because what they highlighted sounds like it may or may not turn out to be what we expected in terms of spending and using our Pancakes to get items/characters we want. Also peep that in the future when we pull, when we get duplicates of Devils and cash them in for currency it will reward us with Gold and Tomes for the lower grade, and Nightmare Pancakes for the higher grade devils.
They did say that they are OPEN to criticism once the shop releases, so be ready to email them if this new Pancake system does not work for you. And a quick thing about the Nightmare Pass is that they did listen that other countries have to pay much more in pricing for things like this so they are open to lowering the price in the future. But this statement made me laugh ->
Tumblr media
idk about any of you, but this read to me as "Yeah I'm tired of ya'll asking us for stuff when we do so much"
Like aight PB I hear you...I see you... (btw this isn't meant to be negative, I know very well what they mean)
So for Enviroment Changes (I'm assuming for gameplay) here are the highlights
-Reducing the Ultimate scenes by half (meaning it will be on the screen less during battle) -adding illustrations from past events into the album -boss skill window (idk who asked for this but cool) -faster annoucements about new characters and release schedules
Tumblr media
So for January no new characters (bummer, but I understand) They say they are doing this because it takes them about 2-3 weeks to get the characters approved or any additional events and stories approved before they can confidently announce when we will see them.
It is crucial that we as players give them grace on this because given the nature of the game they have to jump through a lot of damn hoops to get things approved and the industry is realllllyyyy against NSFW stuff lately especially the higher up the ladder folks and will reject just about anything they don't like. I've seen people literally have to pull projects because the big man said "Nah not in this house" But PB is trying and that's what counts. They at least were transparent here that they don't want us to get our hopes up until things are certain.
Tumblr media
And just a little message from them. Reminding us that they are a small production crew and that they are trying their best with all the resources they have at hand.
We all may have our thoughts about how they run things and it's natural because we're human, but the devs are at least listening and showing that they are willing to change and work around our needs the best they can for a better gaming experience. Now I do forsee some stuff is gonna piss us off, but that's a given. All we can do is give them feedback when it's due!!

Raphael and/or Haarlep reacting to seeing Tav in the wavemother robes?
enby, afab Tav with top surgery seduction read on AO3
Wavemother Help Me Now
Well. Tav pulled at the hem of the scaly robe. They lost that bet fair and square. And while the high slit and deep neckline promised forbidden views, they didn't yield any by themselves. With a little tweaking though, Tav could show anything they wanted to.
It would have to do. Hopefully. It wasn't that the price for the lost bet was bad or anything. It made sense and Raphael did take up a lot of their thoughts. So getting hi out of their system by getting him into their pussy was a sound plan.
But how did you even seduce a devil? With cunning ploys? Outright demands? They'd find out. Because, unfortunately, the price wasn't "trying their best and leaving it at that" but honest to goodness seduction.
Gotta bang that devil. Tav scrutinised their looks a last time. At least they knew where he was. And that he had a pool. Between the Wavemother robe and the water, they'd come up with something. Hopefully.
# # #
"What is it with that – getup." Raphael's eyes raked over Tav. The adventurer wore a – revealing robe to put it mildly. And yet, there was no sliver of skin of the enticing kind to be seen. What a tease.
"Oh this?" Tav shrugged and the motion raised the slit of the robe dangerously high. "I lost a bet."
"And now you have to wear – this?"
They shrugged again with similar effect and mumbled under their breath blushing. "Astarion said it'd be less breezy around the – well, around everywhere if I started wearing undies. But that day may never come. Anyway," Tav gathered themself. "It's not all bad. Look."
They stepped over the rose petals into the pool and lifted the robe so it wouldn't get wet. Raphael swallowed hard.
"It heals me when I stand in water. Helpful, yes?" They turned slowly as if that would show the healing properties.
"Yes, very impressive." Raphael said, proud of the flat tone in his voice. "Was there anything else? A contract you reconsidered maybe?"
Tav stilled and dropped the robe. It made a small sound as it dipped right into the water and floated around their legs. The slit turned especially adventurous, if unsuccessful at revealing their private parts.
"I knew I forgot something," Tav sighed. "It's not so easy, you know. Lae'zel will kill me if I don't free her Prince. And Karlach and Wyll will kill me if I deal with a devil. It's kinda a fix."
"And how do you intend to fix that?" Raphael took a goblet with heavy red wine and a step towards the pool. With his hands occupied it felt safe enough.
"I don't know." Tav dropped their hands to their sides, where their fingers played with the high slit of their robe, hiding and revealing skin in an almost hypnotic pattern.
"Protection can be arranged as part of the contract."
"Really?" Tav brightened and raised their hands to their chest. Unfortunately, they tangled in the robe on their way up, revealing almost everything as the fabric bunched momentarily over Tav's crotch. "It's still two against one."
Raphael thrust the wine into their hands. "If you need time to consider, help yourself. I have other matters to attend to."
"Oh." The word dropped from Tav's mouth small and soft. "Of course." They climbed out of the pool and walked to his desk, dripping water all over his floor. Tav put the goblet down with a sigh. "You know, bending me over the desk and fucking me silly would be a strong argument in your favour."
Raphael froze. Had he heard correctly? He went through the conversation again, but yes, it seemed that Tav had not only admitted to not wearing underwear but also asked to be taken from behind over his desk. The image parched Raphael's mouth. He could feel his cock stir and press against the inside of his trousers.
And they had not moved. Stood with their back to him and eyes cast down into the wine. Raphael let his gaze wander over the curve of their back and ass. A clear invitation. One he had not expected.
He stepped behind Tav and his breath on their neck made them shudder. "I don't think that is an argument I want to make."
Each of his words dropped onto Tav's skin and they sighed sweetly under them. He slipped a hand under the robe and over the shivering skin over Tav's stomach. They pressed back against him immediately.
"You will find that my own arguments are a little more convincing." Raphael moved his fingers down, teasing the joint between thigh and body. Tav mewled, their fingers gripping the desk turning white with pressure.
"I am," they drew a sharp breath as his hand descended, "open to suggestions."
"Matters of this importance should not be rushed." The reversal of roles suited Raphael perfectly. He cupped their sex with his hand and slipped his index finger down between Tav's fold. They were invitingly warm and wet for him.
Who knew. Maybe he would just bend them over the desk. A quick solution to the pressing problem building between his own legs. "The question is what I will get out of this."
Whatever Tav's answer was going to be, it was lost when he pushed away the robes and cupped their ass with his free hand. It wasn't the most dignified of intercourses, but if Tav had wanted that they wouldn't have presented a standing invitation. He squeezed.
Tav pressed into his hand, and moments later over his naked cock. Raphael took them in with a low growl, marking Tav's throat with hungry teeth. It was obvious what he'd get out of this and if he had his way, and he planned to, this would not the last time, Tav offered themself on a silver platter. He'd devour that little mouse until they forgot why this was a bad idea.

(WIP)Diabolik Lovers: College AU
It’s been a while since I’ve posted any headcanon type stuff on this blog! But I wanted to post about a college au, it’s the one I typically write in and how I perceive the characters. Since the diaboys are really old, and the stuff that happens in the series is kinda (ehh), I aged them up a few years and added a night college.
There’s only a few big differences;
Students range from 18+, the uniform is slightly different, the school has dorms available, and no Yui ): she’s a human minor (set the girl free) but there are two MC’s (male and female) to play as.
Ryoutei University
A night school for the rich, working, and inhuman. The school is partnered with the Demon World’s top university. Though the existence of demons attending the school is not publicly know, the faction of the church that supervises the school knows. The school was made a sort of co-Ed (in terms of species) after a war took place in the human world, and they wanted to come to an agreement.
The school has one main building with additional buildings around the campus that hold events for sports, music, and other social gatherings.
There are dorms on the campus divided between male and female students. The female students are on the east side of the campus, and the male students are on the west. They are not allowed to cross between dorms. There’s a student led security team that surveys the dorms every day.
The schools budget is seemingly endless, they have just about everything in this school: pools, tracks, courts, a church, and other recreational activities for the full time students to enjoy.
━━━━༺❀༻━━━━
Basic Timetable of the schools schedule:
Classes begin: 8pm
Classes end: 3am
After school activities offered from 3:30am to 7am.
Classes are an hour and a half long. Depending on the student, they may have lunch starting from 11pm to 1am.
Cafeteria serves food until 2am
A typical meal consists of: rice, meat, miso soup, and a chosen desert.
━━━━༺❀༻━━━━
Diaboys Grades!
This is based off of a four year graduation system.
Sakamaki Family:
Subaru: freshman
Triplets: sophomore
Reiji: Junior (completing graduate classes)
Shu: Junior (he doesn’t have enough credits to be one, though…)
Mukami Family
Azusa: Sophomore
Yuma: Sophomore
Kou: Freshman (he was held back a year due to his work….)
Ruki: Junior (he hasn’t been at this school as long as Reiji, so he has about ten less credits than Reiji.)
Tsukinami Family
Shin: Sophomore
Carla: Senior (he couldn’t lie about the copious amounts of school credits he had collected)
MC: Freshman! MC came to this school recently and (if they had any) didn’t have their school record transferred to this school, so they have to start over regardless.
Because this is college, depending on the MC’s skill level in different courses they have a chance to take classes with all of the boys!
━━━━༺❀༻━━━━
School Events
There are school events that the students can join! Monthly events sponsored by the school to places like the “Princess land amusement park” at night.
Sports festivals happen often as the students are encouraged to exercise and maintain school spirit.
Art exhibits hosted by the art department happen often, usually when the students are having their exams to showcase their work this semester.
There’s a swim, basketball, football, and tennis team along with various indoor club activities. In short, almost everyone can join a club activity they’d want to. (Laito tried out the photography club, but was promptly banned after he took naughty photos…)
━━━━༺❀༻━━━━
Tuition??
The school is EXPENSIVE!! All of the students tuition is double the price of a community university (not counting dorms)! Karlheinz is emptying his wallet for his kids…

Gladiator | Jan Rozmanowski/Jann
Pairing: Jan Rozmanowski/Jann x reader (figure skater!reader)
Summary: People find it hard to believe that Jan wrote Gladiator for you and his relationship with you, but once they look in the lyrics a bit better it all makes sense.
Warning/s: swearing (twice, maybe three times), impaled smut, but not in detail, stress and pressure, possible grammar and spelling mistakes, but I really hope you will enjoy this one
Author's note: I didn't see any Jann imagines on here and we CAN NOT and WILL NOT have that... so I made one. I also kind of got inspired by the queen herself, Alexandra Trusova. Enjoy! (Requests are open)
Tumblr media
Welcome to the party, say hi to everybody
Paid for by Martini, but they're sippin' on Bacardi
Body's more than just a flesh, you can sell it for success
What's your price what's your address? We can finish at my place
Sometimes it can get really hard. You were a famous figure skater and it meant that you had to give up a lot. Like a lot. You could make some friends, sure, but it will never last. Figure skating is truly a very competitive sport and it would mean that you had to go up against your friends most of the time. So yeah, it never ends well. One always gets hurt and, as selfish as this may sound, you always had to make sure that you wouldn't be the one to get hurt.
You kind of lost all of the interest about the party that you were attending right now. You just felt so tired from the late practice last night that you felt like you could easily doze off right here. You found yourself leaning against the bar corner as you drank the last drop of your Bacardi, even tho you paid for a Martini. However, when the bartender brought you the wrong drink you didn't want to be one of those people so you didn't tell him anything. Plus you really couldn't care less as long as you get a little alcohol in your system to try and wash away all of the shit that was currently going on. The preparations for the World Championship was truly killing you, eating you outside out.
As you ordered yourself a new round of Bacardi, you noticed the guy standing next to you.
You didn't really know what was it. The alcohol? Your fucked out drunk as fuck brain? Or perhaps it was the tiredness from the bone crushing training with zero percent of sleep? In any case, whatever it was, you noticed one thing. The guy was drop dead gorgeous, it surprised you that he was alone nursing a bunch of Margaritas. His hair was dirty blonde, almost brown. His eyes looked so tired, but they still held a beautiful kind of joy. He looked so tired, too. You noticed the way he was lightly gripping at the glass that he was probably a bit drunk, too. You also noticed that he was so freakishly tall. It all confused you. You thought that it was ridiculous. How can somebody be so bloody drop dead gorgeous?
Maybe it was alcohol after all because you suddenly got a wave of self encouragement and you found yourself slowly stepping towards him. Something was simply pulling you towards him. You simply felt like you need to get to know him. It surprised you. You weren't usually the one to step forward, it flooded you with nervousness. Plus, considering your occupation, you didn't really have much time to get yourself a boyfriend, but it felt like it would be nice. All you had to do entire day was wake up, eat if you have time, practice, quick break, more practice, shower, rihurse, eat, sleep. On Fridays you allowed yourself to get drunk just enough so you could forget it all, but you thought that it would be nice. You know?
To have someone who is not putting even more pressure on you, to always be there for you, no matter what. To encourage you, to be there for you, to cheer you on, to make you happy. Somebody who will be proud of you no matter what. Someone who will be there when the pressure and the expectations get to much. When you break down. Someone to hold you. To see you as you. To love you. And, weirdly enough, you felt this towards that unknown guy you just saw, but you didn't now that he was actually looking at you the entire night. Watching you drowning yourself in a drink that you didn't even order, but were to nice to say anything to the bartender. He was watching you perform for a bit, too. He found you very talented. Very gorgeous.
However, before you could make a few steps towards him, from the spot in which you were standing in, you were suddenly swarmed with the crowd.
It lasted long enough it seems like, you thought to yourself. It was just a matter of time before somebody would approach you. In the corner of your eye, you saw him smirking at you, his face saying "amusement". Your eyes met and he got up, to your surprise. People around you were yelling, dancing, drinking, the crowd stared to make small talk, but your eyes were still just on him. He knew it, too. He stopped walking when he reached the end of the crowd. Your eyes filled with realization and a bit of amusement. Once you finally said hello to everybody, you will reach the one you want to get to know the most right now. And so you started with the talk.
After a long while, you felt like you got hit by a truck. You were still talking, still drinking, still faking. Just as the last person finally went away and the last photo got taken, at that moment approached you the person you wanted the most. He ordered himself and you a Martini and you got to chit-chat.
"I must say." He began as the bartender placed two Martinis in front of you. "I feel so honored that you found time to talk to me."
"Yeah, sorry about that." You suddenly your cheeks felt hot and you realized that you were blushing.
"No, it's good. But I must say you look even more gorgeous when you blush." He gave you his signature smirk as he took another sip of his Martini. At that, you felt like your face was red as a tomato.
"By the way, I saw your performance in Amsterdam three days ago." He said and you couldn't help but to look up at him in surprise. God he was so tall. "Those two flips that you did... I can see that you are very skilled." He gave you another compliment as he took another sip of his Martini. You felt so honored, he had seen you perform, he thinks your skilled. Somehow it felt like a big commitment. Somehow, someway, his opinion mattered to you.
"Really?" You started, suddenly feeling very bold. "I thought that the part where I did that Cantilever was gonna be your favorite."
"Oh, trust me it is." He gave you a wink as he continued to talk. "It looked really good, darling." He said, his Polish accent coming on strong.
"Well, what can I say. It had to be good. However, sometimes, the body is more than just a flesh, but in many things you can sell it for success." You winked back at him as you said that. "But you have to have some talent, too."
Both him and you knew one thing, though. If you continued to drink as much as you do right now and talk the way you were talking right now, you will probably end up finishing this conversation at his place.
Ever been to Bali? I really need some sun
Such a shame 'bout that tsunami, I'll have to go to Cali
I can get you dressed, wrap your body in excess
Give them something to obsess over
It felt so good. You were talking about everything and about nothing. He told you that he wanted to visit an island called Bali, but a day before his flight he saw the news about the island being hit by a tsunami so he decided to go to Cali. He also told you that he was a professional song writer and a singer and that he wanted to make another song, but didn't really have an inspiration.
You were telling him about the struggle of your sport and that you felt like all of the weight of the expectations were slowly, but surely crushing down on you. But you also told him about the fun part of your job, the costumes, the song and choreography choice. You enjoyed that, he could tell so, too. From the way that you were talking about it, he felt like he could listen forever.
"My coach is putting so much pressure on me. It gets to much, sometimes. Like I'm not famous enough. It gets on my nerves so much sometimes. I can't even go to a grocery store, most of the time somebody will recognize me!"
You complained and he listened. He listened and gave his opinion and you knew that he felt the same and it hurt so much. You felt like you had fallen in love, it was ridiculous. But at the same time it wasn't.
After a while he pulled you towards the middle of the dance floor. You were laughing and dancing and singing along. You didn't feel this relaxed and this happy for a long time. It felt like drugs. You just couldn't get enough and you never wanted it to stop.
Jan placed his arms around your waist as you danced and just had fun. You pulled each other closer as you danced. You could smell his cologne as you hid your face in his neck. He smelled like the finest air, alcohol and cigarettes. It was a weird combination, but it was so comforting, you felt like you could only breathe that astonishing smell for the rest of your life. Pretty soon, you tangled your hands in his hair as he played with the edge of your dress.
"They are taking photos of us." You found yourself whispering in his ear. You could practically feel the smirk he directed to you.
"It's fine." Jan laughed a bit, amused. "A figure skater and a singer. That'll give them something to obsess over."
You'll love it when I give it to you, leave you wanting more
I know your addiction's attention, let's start a show
Is it everything and more than you were hoping for?
Show us something we ain't never seen before
Jan and you were dating for two months now, and you had to admit that it was the best relationship that you were ever in. It went so much better than you thought it would. He was your number 1 supporter and you were his. He came to your every performance just like you came to every gig he had. You were always cheering him on just like he always cheered you on.
You just got off the practice, you were supposed to have a few days off and you couldn't wait to go away. You couldn't wait to leave rehearsals for a while, to leave your coach for a while, to leave the public eye for a while. You just couldn't wait to go get out of the building and crash at Jan's place. As you got out of the rehearsal, the first person you saw was your gorgeous boyfriend.
The moment he saw you he gave you your water bottle and despite your protests took your bag and slang it over his shoulder. He put his arm around you and led you to the car as you drank your water. You couldn't wait to get to his house. And, boy, it was worth the wait.
The moment you walked in he had you pressed against the wall, kissing you passionately. You tangled your hands in his gorgeous hair as he mumbled "jump" against your mouth. You did just that. Jan's arms wrapped around your legs as he walked upstairs towards the bedroom.
He gently placed you down, his lips never in the wildest dreams leaving your lips. Jam continued to kiss you as both of you slowly got rid of your clothes. After you were both pressed against each other, skin to skin, he pulled away for a short while.
"You'll love it when I give it to you. I'll leave you wanting more." And that wasn't a threat, it was a promise.
Smash your competition, baby
Show us some good entertainment
Victory's your only payment
Gladiator, gladiator
You were so bloody nervous, you felt like you were about to throw up or explode or something. You were messing around with the end of the red costume you were wearing, a white jacket was slung over your shoulders to protect the costume.
Jan immediately noticed what was wrong and quickly brought you into a hug. He didn't say anything for a while, he was just slowly rocking you back and forth in his arms.
Jan felt you tighten your arms around him. You felt like crying. He knew it. He pulled you even closer, afraid that you would disappear or that a messy cloud of fear and anxiety that was hanging above your head would cover you completely. The smell of his cologne calmed you down a little bit, but you still felt like you would much rather just crowl into a hole and die.
"You can do this." Jan pulled away as he placed both of his hands on each side of your face. "You can land 5 quads, you can win the World Championship. I know you can." It seemed like his words of encouragement did little to settle down the nervous pit that was constantly, slowly, painfully growing inside of your stomach.
"But, what if I-?"
"Even if you don't." He gave you a look. "Even if you don't it will still be like you did. For me you did. For your whole country, for your family, for your friends it will be like you won."
You nodded your head slowly, nervousness calming down a little bit. He slowely copied your action and nodded his head, too. You gave him a smile, a silent "thank you" for slicing that into you.
"Now go out there and show them something they have never seen before." He said and you pulled him in a quick kiss before your coach called you.
"Thank you, Jan." You whispered before you left. Jan smiled as he watched you go, shining with pride as he walked away to get to his seat.
Welcome to the party, I know it's kinda funny
That everyone is acting like they know you personally
Just play along, be nice and all
You won't get far being on your own
Your makeup was a bit ruined, but it didn't matter because you did it! Everything that you were working on your whole life had come true. You won the World Championship and you made history by landing 5 quads.
You grabbed your trophy and took pictures with the girls who got 2nd and 3rd place. But there was this bubbling excitement in your chest. You just couldn't wait to get off of the platform and to celebrate your victory with the person who supported you the most. Jan.
The moment that you saw each other, you ran to one another and Jan lifted you from the ground as he kept spinning you around.
"I'm so proud of you, baby!" He said as he attacked you with kisses. "My world champion!"
Later on you walked into a celebration party. Everyone was chatting with you, congratulations were shot at you from miles away and everyone was talking to you like they truly know you. After a while, you called it quits and left with one arm wrapped around your trophy and with other arm wrapped around your greatest treasure.
"I find it kind of funny, you know." Jan spoke up as you walked towards the car with you. "Everyone was talking to us like they knew every single thing about us."
"I know. But you know what?" You tightened your arm around him as you gave him a light, tired smile. "You really should always be kind to everyone. On this world you can't do it all on your own. So thank you, Jan. For your support."
"Baby, you are my greatest prise."

[7:35 AM] - Hybrid!Yeonjun ran with all his might through the abandoned unground subway system. Water slushed at his feet, soaking his trainers while a knife stuck out from his thigh. It profusely bled, leaving a trail of blood behind him.
“Come back here, hybrid,” One yelled.
“You can only run from us for so long!” Called another.
Hybrid!Yeonjun should have known better to involve himself in human affairs. As a hybrid, it was the expectation that he keep quiet, to speak only when spoken to. It was certainly not okay for him to come to the defense of another, undermining his human master in the process.
You masked a yawn, your eyelids drooping. You weren’t accustomed to getting up so early. You worked part-time in the afternoons and attended night classes at the local campus, so mornings for you weren’t commonplace.
However, your intentions for today were different. For your photography class you hoped to capture the underground beauty and architecture of the city’s abandoned subway stations—morning light being the best lighting to shoot at.
You positioned your handheld camera in front of your face, closing one eye. You were adjusting the lens, trying to get the image to focus, when you noticed a man running in the distance. He had a head of long golden hair and a set of inhumanely yellowy-green eyes. Two ears peaked behind his golden locks and behind him swayed a tail of a lion.
A lion hybrid? You tilted your head, a little surprised to see such a rare species of hybrid just running around. Usually, the big cat hybrids ran for a hefty price and were highly valued amongst elite collectors.
As it came closer in your direction you spotted the knife sorely sticking out of its leg. Your chest constricted. You knew that hybrids were usually considered less than, in human society, usually reduced to playthings or collectors' items. They had little to no rights and commonly faced terrible treatment at their owners' hands.
Hybrid!Yeonjun's breathing was labored, his knees beginning to buckle under his weight. He wouldn’t be able to carry on for much longer.
He’s going to fall. You hooked the strap of your camera over your neck and hurried over, catching Hybrid!Yeonjun's arms before he collapsed in the puddles of rainwater that had been collected the night prior.
“I’ve got you,” You whispered, turning your head backward to check how far the men chasing Hybrid!Yeonjun were, “We need to hurry. They’ll be here soon,” You gently swept a fringe of hair that covered the Hybrid!Yeonjun's eyes.
Hybrid!Yeonjun's heart stopped, his world freezing as he laid eyes on you.
“Can you continue walking?” You tried to steady the hybrid on his feet, “Just to the wall over there,” You pointed, “There’s an old utility room we can hide in.”
Hybrid!Yeonjun shyly nodded. He had never met a human that had talked to him as so. That appeared to care for him and his well-being.

a pirate by any name +
"Samson Smee?" Ben asks, tapping the name on the list. “Is he related to Captain Hook’s sidekick?”
Evie leans closer on instinct. She doesn’t need to see the paperwork to know who Sammy is, but it’s a habit now to press close to Ben and tilt her head just-so to see the paper lists and forms when they’re working on VK matters together. It a comfort, to know that she’s not in this fight alone, and Ben certainly hasn’t complained about the increased contact with his girlfriend’s girlfriend. “Yes. He goes by Sammy. He's probably not going to want to come over without his brothers, but we can still make the offer."
"Can we bring the brothers?"
The last time Evie saw the littlest Smee children, they were sobbing over a pirate’s body before the adult crew members tipped them over the harbor for the sharks to take their share. They couldn’t have been more than seven or eight years old, and what Evie remembers the most is the way their tears had carved clean tracks out of the dirt on their faces.
She hums her consideration. “They're young. Elementary age, maybe ten or so now. I think they'd be okay to come, but they're shy, and I'm not sure how they'd do at school. As families go, I think all the Smee boys would do well in terms of goodness integration, but they may be difficult to integrate on a social level unless they can come over with someone they already know."
"Alright. Who do you think they'd do well with?"
Their father.
“Their father,” Evie says, bitingly, before she reigns her tongue back in again. Not that it matters around Ben, who is handsome and kind and just listens when Evie needs to shout at somebody about the horrible unfairness of it all, but it’s good practice. She’s a politician now, just like her mother wanted. She’s got to be the best, because she’s an isle brat, and she cannot afford to make mistakes. Anything she says, anything she does wrong will reflect on the isle as a whole, so she’s got to be flawless. She will prove herself not just for her mother’s sake, but because she’s got a thousand hungry kids waiting for her to mess up and snip their only thread of hope at getting off the isle. “But that’s exactly the problem. Sammy has a crew, but the twins just tag along with him or their father all the time, and I don't think Auradon Prep, or any other high school for that matter, wants to have a pair of kids following their new high school student everywhere,” Evie sighs. She’s so fucking tired.  “We have schools on the isle, obviously, but Sammy doesn’t attend very often. The pirates usually stick with their ships and learn what they need from the older members of their crews. It’s not a traditional Auradon education, but the pirates are actually some of the better educated kids on the isle. It works for them, but it won’t work if we bring them here.”
Ben puts a warm hand on her arm. It’s all Evie can do not to sink into the touch. She’s so, so tired of this. Of begging for any scrap they can get. Any concession to the norm comes at the price of another sliver of her own sanity, it feels like, and there’s so many children who won’t be able to handle the pressure of Auradon Prep, who will need more exceptions than the system is set up to give them, who won’t be able to thrive without the attention that nobody is able to give them.
“We can ask the charter school,” Ben says softly. “There's integrated schools, all ages sort of places. My mother’s village has one. We can reach out. She provides a grant each year, they might decide they own me a favor.”
Evie presses into his touch. Gods below, but it’s nice to have somebody who knows better than her the networks of favors and family histories that keep the kingdom governments running. “Or if we could find a family who would be willing to keep them together and send them to separate day schools, they might get used to being on their own like that,” Evie suggests. “Sort of slow and steady. A gradual break.”
Ben makes a note, a shorthand scribble on the side of his list. Evie’s eyes are swirling too much to read it exactly, but she knows their code. Foster family, special education, sibling unit. That’s what they need to know in order to place the Smee boys. A whole life, reduced down to three shorthand scribbles. “That could work. What are the brothers called?"
Evie laughs, exhausted. “Squeaky and Squirmy, but I believe their birth names are Sawyer and Simon. They're not bad kids, they're just shy. They would do better here, I think. Where there’s less adults around to bully them into staying quiet.”
Ben slips his hand up her arm, around her shoulders, pulls until she can rest her head on the side of his own. He’s warm and sturdy and if they weren’t in the middle of important work, Evie could fall asleep just like this. And then cause a scandal when the service staff come in to wake them both up, and find the young king sleeping on a girl who is not his girlfriend, no matter how many interests and people they share between them.
"We can ask. If Sammy's willing to come over without them, who do you think we could bring with him?"
"Anthony. Dizzy's cousin. They run with the same crew, and they'd do well together. I would say that we should bring over Harriet, but knowing her, she's not going to come over unless we can get the rest of her crew out first, and she's got one of the biggest crews on the isle."
Ben skims the list of kids, running his pen down the side as he goes. “Harriet?"
She’s not on the list.
“Hook,” Evie explains. “She’s one of the eldest pirate kids. We didn’t add her to the list because she won’t come until we can bring her crew with her, and we can’t promise that yet.”
“Hook.” Ben echoes, voice flat. “As in—?”
He’s encountered Harry, and came away with almost as much vitriol for him as Mal.
Evie presses herself closer to him, so that he can feel her heat, and maybe remember that they’re in her office, not the wet deck of a ship. That he’s not tied to a mast, waiting to die anymore. “Yes. There are three Hook kids, and they all hate each other. We only hate Harry, the middle one, so Harriet and CJ are our allies. Sort of an enemy-of-our-enemy kind of thing."
"Harry's the one who's involved with Uma.” Ben says, so softly that Evie can barely hear the words. “The one who tried to kill me.”
"Yes. He's....” Evie hesitates. She’s safe to hesitate here, in her own little office that smells like citrus wood polish and old papers. She doesn’t have to preform just for Ben, because she can trust him. Her sweet, kind king.
Trust doesn’t mean she wants to tell him everything. Understatement is a tool that Evie is well practiced at wielding, so she lets herself close her eyes, and forges ahead. “He’s a lot. We don't like him."
Ben smiles, small and sweet and almost sad. "I take it there's a history there?"
"Just a bit." Evie agrees. "There's been a few incidents."
"Would it be useful for me to know?"
Evie breathes in, and out, and relaxes her shoulders in an attempt to let go of the anger that she's still holding in her body. "I suppose so. Yes."
"Do you want to tell me?"
Honesty is the foundation of good relationships. "No."
Ben nods. He's too good to them. "You could tell me later. If you'd like."
The memory of blood spills over Evie's hands. The slippery, awful feeling of insides that were never supposed to become outsides against her leather gloves. The gritty feeling of dirt in her eyes that she can't rub out, blown up from the shattered crates they'd been aiming to take back from the pirates. The blood though, that's the part that she can't forget. She's been a medic since she first started sneaking out of her mother's house, but she's usually restricted herself to broken arms and legs and noses, some shallow stitches, fever medication, abortifacients and concussion care for the kids who can't take the dubious mercy of the barrier's spell. She's done medications for the kids who cared to try them, all sorts of poultices and remedies for the ailments that are within her power to fix.
She's never been able to fix someone once they start bleeding out.
She knows the theory of it. Blood transfusions, tourniquets, ways of stopping arteries without killing the patient. The problem is that she's never had to do it firsthand, because they've always known that the spell on the barrier was there to catch them before they died for real. The spell heals the killing blows, so it's easier to lean into the death than it is to staunch critical bleeding. Evie's killed kids herself, those who wouldn't die quick enough on their own, so that they could have the mercy of the barrier and the spell healing them back into a body marginally less broken than the one they'd left from.
"He killed us." Evie manages, around the memory of blood spilling up from her throat. "They made it a game. Him and Uma and their crew. We killed each other."
They've told Ben enough. He can figure out the rest, and he's smart and good and kind, so he does, and she can see him go white when he figures it out.

mafia atz still on my mind!!!!!
ok imagine…
hongjoong who back hugs you while you hack into another mafia boss’ system because they were doing bad shit and kisses your neck slowly, implying a certain… activity to do later
seonghwa who returns home exhausted from his missions and just snuggles up to you with a dreamy smile, finally relaxing and all his tensions visibly disappearing
yunho who makes obnoxious, stupid, but silly sex jokes about you and him to the others, especially wooyoung after seeing his reaction the first time
yeosang who wraps his entire body around you when another mission goes wrong, kissing the top of your head when all is safe and rubs his thumbs over your cheeks
san who personally takes down each and every mafia member who betrayed you, having zero regrets whatsoever, even if they beg on their knees in front of him
mingi who helps clean up the bar, randomly beginning to hum a tune and eventually taking your hand and dancing with you while you’re both giggling uncontrollably
wooyoung who opens a pack of gummy bears while spending time with you during your shift, making them all stand to face you and claiming “it’s a gummy bear mafia!!!!!” with the cutest smile ever
jongho who makes up for all the lost years by singing a song he wrote when he first left because of how much he missed you every night before you sleep, knowing it always did the trick whenever you claim you weren’t sleepy
mafia ateez lives in my mind permanently
- mafia anon
kept this ask in my inbox for so long because i had to go hike a mountain, touch some grass and look at the sky after reading your ask. mafia!ateez fr make me feel things i'm gonna kiss you on the forehead for this
c/w: suggestive/nsfw, violence, crime, injuries, weapons
mafia!hongjoong sometimes likes to challenge your limits - intellectually and physically. his fingers are knuckle-deep inside of you as he watches you attempt to infiltrate past a complex firewall. “if you can get past it in the next ten minutes, i’ll give you a reward and let you cum on my fingers, kitten”
mafia!seonghwa is cold, calculating and terrifying to others, but is soft, nurturing and unguarded with you. the stoney expression on his face slips away as soon as he comes home and he opens his arms wide as you rush forward towards him. his mind becomes calm and silent when you drag him to the couch to lay his head down in your lap, your fingers gently running through his long hair
mafia!yunho deliberately uses his earpiece to flirt with you, knowing fully well that it flusters you and the members alike. he tells you, and the rest of the team by extension, that your ass looks good from where he’s perched three buildings across the street, watching over you through his sniper’s 8x scope
mafia!yeosang refuses to get the cut on his arm treated until you’ve been attended to, even though you barely received a scratch under his protection. you manage to convince yeosang that you’re okay and that he needs to get his arm looked at. but even then, yeosang sits you on his thighs and wraps his uninjured arm securely around your waist
mafia!san flips the safety off his gun as he aligns the barrel to the man’s forehead. around him, the rest of crescent lay dead already; their lives the price for betraying you. san pulls the trigger and you can see the immediate softening of his merciless gaze when he turns around to wrap you in his embrace. “you’ll always be safe with me, sweetheart”
mafia!mingi brings you a vintage record player the next time he visits, because you had offhandedly mentioned how nicely some music would add to the vibes of your bar. mingi deliberately selects slow jazz and R&B vinyls so that he has an excuse to sneak up behind you, grab your hand and twirl you into an intimate dance with him
mafia!wooyoung lets out a dramatic wail each time you eat one of the gummy bears that he has just placed on your countertop. he demands that you give him a kiss on the cheek as compensation for murdering his mafia members in cold blood. wooyoung flushes the same shade of red as the gummy bear you just ate when you decide to kiss his lips this time
mafia!jongho tucks you in closer against his chest when you sleep because he knows you still get nightmares about your father, even if you claim that you’re fine. you really are, though, because there is nothing more comforting than the gentle rumbling of his chest against your cheek as he hums a lullaby he wrote for you

QUEEN OF TEARS FINALE
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This drama is gonna tug your hearstrings.I am literally crying and laughing at the same time.Kudos to the cast for their incredible performances.
Finally the moment that everyone is waiting for. In the last two episodes Hae In finally underwent surgery but in order to live she has to pay a price and that is to lose all of her memories. We can always create new memories but we only have one life left to live.Baek Hyun Woo and Hae in finally sorted out their feelings prior to the surgery but Eunsung schemed to separate the lovely couple once again.
Baek Hyun Woo's character appears to be the knight and shining armor. Not only was he framed by Eunsung but he took a bullet for Hong Hae In. He was the kindest and adorable male lead I've ever seen which only exists in dramas. But viewers can't help but swoon how smart and talented he is. He had this undeniable charm that makes Hong Hae in fall in love with him all over again.
Hong Hae In remained very cautious even after the surgery.Though she lost her memories but she still acts like her old self. Eunsung tries to distort the truth but his plans failed.
Eunsung was a child yearning for a love and affection from his mother who abandoned him and never kept her promise. He suffered in the hands of his adopted parents and struggled to live a better life. His mother was just so cruel not only for the false promises she made but for pushing all the blame to him even after he died.Eunsung is one example of how pain changes a person. The mother and the son needs to wake up and they showed no sign of redemption.
In the end justice was served.Hyun Woo was so fortunate to have a very strong support system from his family and to have a trusted friend who always had his back.
I can finally sleep in peace knowing Hae In and Hyun woo lived happily and had a child together.manifesting that this too would happen in real life.
For the first time in so many years that I ship another kdrama couple.I mean they look so adorable together.Fingers crossed hoping that they will work in a new project together.
The OSTs are the best. With all of the bts and snippets from the drama I think there is no moving on.Promotions are going well for this drama. As they always say strike while the iron is still hot.It will always be one of the best dramas this year.
P.S. I am hoping to see KJW and KSH to attend awarding ceremonies this year.Probably walking on the red carpet together.
I have seen some snippets of their interviews and they both are introverts just like me.I can relate hahaaa.Btw I need watch a new show tonight to finally say goodbye to this drama.
