The lack of cursed Tim Drake stories/aus is honestly unbelievable.

He grew up in a house full of Archeological findings, mostly alone without any adult supervision.

Anyway. I have one that isn't as angsty as it could be, in which he doesn't get cursed out of maliciously, but because of kindness.

The curse was held in a wolf statue and gifted him the ability to turn into one. But only if his emotions get out of hand. Be it happiness, fear, or anger.

So he trained himself to control his emotions, as his wolf side was quite handy for his bird-watching hobby.

(He also ends up with quite the resting bitch face because of this. It also helped him a lot as Robin)

But he also needs to shift from time to time or else he'll get... a bit irrational.

Then he becomes Robin and Bruce, the best detective in the world, has no idea about his true nature.

The only people that know are Alfred, Cass, and Jason.

Alfred found out on one of his "check ins" With Tim. He used to visit him daily with an nice lunch packet to make sure he was alright and the first time he did, Tim was so surprised that he spawned tail and puppy ears.

Cass is his cuddle buddy. They are like siblings and love each other. Tim is also aware that someone must know. For case of emergency.

Jason wanted to cripple his replacement and got body checked by an overgrown puppy. Like Tim got so happy that his packmate was still alive that he couldn't control himself. The shook was enough to snap him out of the pit madness

(Jason: does dad know?

Tim: dad?

Jason: I meant Bruce.

Tim: ew. That's my boss.)

The rest of the batfamily doesn't know, but is still influenced by his ferral wild side.

Mostly Damian. Because Tim can't take this tiny Puppy seriously. He is a baby and part of his Pack. Tim also doesn't get that he is trying to murder him. He seriously thinks that Damian is initiating play fights and he, as a good big brother, indulges in it. These playfights are actually pretty good for Damian.

It helps with his murderous tendencies and it became more playing than fighting quickly.

These Play Fights help a lot with stress and anxiety for the both of them.

Dick isn't aware that they are playing. He seriously thinks that they dislike each other as if Tim wouldn't pull Damian into Bruces' bed whenever they had a bad patrol.

Also, his relationship with dick is a lot more open.

He gets that he sounded like a lunatic. He understands that Damian is the new pack puppy that needs to be watched 24/7.

But he also knows that his big brother loves him a lot and that he gives the best hugs. He loves him with all his heart and trusts him with his life.

Tim is protective of Duke. He is still new to the pack and the villigate life. That he patrols all alone gives him a lot of anxiety and he often follows him in wolf form. Duke thinks that he is a lost stray and always has some jerky for him.

The only person that Tim has a bit of a problem is Bruce. Because he is eternally torn between "this is a work relationship and he is my boss" and "Papa who gives me loving head pats". It's a real struggle for him.

au where lightning’s mom was a spy, but was killed by the lemons when her home was invaded when she least expected it. Before the invaders could flee however, grem heard a baby monty mcqueen waking up in his crib, starting to cry when he fully gained consciousness and saw grem’s face. With a little persuasion from him to acer, grem was able to kidnap take in the kid and raise him in the oil factories without miles axelrod (or anyone outside of the “lemons mafia” really) finding out about his existence. Monty was renamed Lightning so that it would be harder for people in the outside world to identify him, and rarely had anything like television or connections to social media. Most of the lemons were like uncles to Lightning, with Grem and Acer being the “fun” uncles and Professor Zundapp being the scary but actually really caring one.

Zundapp obviously hated the idea of having some “snotty nosed whiny brat” as he put it running amok around the factories, but he actually grew fond of the kid over time and showed him his lab and latest inventions despite Lightning not understanding any of it at a young age. Would also call him “mein sohn” once in a while if he especially feeling fond of Lightning. In fact he actually becomes the lemon who genuinely loves and cares about lightning the most, and when he goes out into the real world for the first time (spoiler alert) along with finn, mater and holly, zundapp assumes that they kidnapped him and nearly mauls and murders them on sight before lightning quickly defuses the situation.

also btw lightning has never seen the sun before 😭😭 like he wont be allowed outside the buildings and onto the platforms during the day so hes usually just seen everything from night time so when he actually does leave the factories and sees the world at day time for the first time he just looks right into the sun and immediately gets flashed by it followed by mater being like “well dont look straight at it!”

lightning mcqueen - king penguin since theyre the second biggest penguin species. i could also see mcqueen being a northern rockhopper or some other crested penguin :>

sally carrera - yellow-eyed penguins. no particular reason, i just think yellow-eyed penguins look super cool

tow mater - royal penguin. also no particular reason. maybe the "royal" hints towards mater's rich upbringing? lol

strip weathers - emperor penguin since theyre the biggest penguin species by far and are also the deepest diving birds

chick hicks - adelie penguin since theyre known for being feisty/aggresive. adelies also collect (and steal) pebbles for their nests to attract mates, and i think thats very chick hicks-coded

doc hudson - chinstrap penguin since. doc looks exactly like a chinstrap 😭😭. apparently chinstraps are also known to be aggressive and that they fight with adelies and the idea of doc & chick having beef is really funny

jackson storm - gentoo penguin since gentoos are the fastest swimming penguins. also gentoo sounds like gen(eration) two and that fits storm very well

cruz ramirez - galapagos penguin since i wanted her to be a banded penguin so i chose one of the south american species :]

bonus ramble: chick having to go against an emperor and a king and mcqueen having to go against a gentoo is completely unfair JFDHDSJHF whats wrong with the piston cup circuit in this universe

Mater is a comedian and a singer, with mostly joke songs, but some genuine ones too. The redneck persona is played up by a lot, including the accent, but he does still have some of that personality actually in him. [You can uh. you can probably see the inspiration here...] He's kinda uptight and surprisingly snobbish, not as charming or nice in real life as he is on stage. Nice clothes, expensive lifestyle, the works.

Lightning is a street racer, making money where he can and avoiding the police during his many illegal races... he wants to be famous one day, but he also just loves racing. He's very sweet, and somewhat naive in certain areas, a little easier to take advantage of due to how trusting he is. He considers Olive Garden fancy.

Backstory: Unfortunately there came a night where Mater got caught in the middle of one of Lightning’s races, quite literally. He ended up getting hit by his car, but thankfully he wasn't hurt. Although he was planning on suing the pants off whoever hit him, but stopped when the driver got out and ran over, asking if he was okay... there was just something about him. Mater thought he was... cute? No, that was weird. But instead of suing Lightning, he held it over his head, making him be his personal assistant or else he WOULD squeeze every penny he had out of his pockets, and tell the police. Everyone working for Mater seems to like Lightning, thinking about what a nice boy he is. Mater doesn't like all the attention he gets from this lmao

Uhhh what I think the Cars 1 (humanized) characters listen to/music taste bc I’m tired and out of ideas and I’m bored lol:

Lightning McQueen:

I feel like he’d listen to Taylor Swift. He’s not a Swifty, just likes her music lol. I feel like he’d listen to a lot of 80’s-90’s rock and have the same sort of music taste as Star-Lord from Guardians Of The Galaxy. He probably likes a lot of YouTube songs that aren’t really on the radio.

Chick Hicks:

He 100% listens to rock n roll. I feel like he’d also like 80’s-90’s rock. He’d probably hear some country music and cringe before changing the station and start cringing at the 2000’s music. Chick 100% secretly listens to Kesha and ABBA and I will die on this hill. He appreciates Michael Jackson, worships him even.

Strip Weathers:

Bro is a country guy. I mean… c’mon. Look at him. Also he likes Lil Nas X. I headcanon that he’d enjoy My Chemical Romance though. I just think it would be funny as fuck if he and Cal were just going for a drive and;

Cal: Uncle Strip can we please listen to something other than Old Town Road??? It’s been on repeat for like three hours!

Bro listens to classical music. I feel like he’d use this more as a front than anything or for when he’s working because it helps him focus. Otherwise he’d refuse to talk about or even listen to piano and violins. Idk about you but he gives me the vibes of someone who likes musicals and jingles from movies(Ghost Busters theme or the Jurassic Park main theme). Aside from that, he probably has a very picky taste in music and simply likes certain songs from certain artists.

Sally Carrera:

She likes all music. I feel like she wouldn’t care what plays as long as something is playing. But her favorite music is metal. I think this is funny for the same reason Strip liking MCR is funny.

Tow Mater:

He likes country as well idk what to say lol. I think he’d try to get Lightning into country then quickly find himself liking the same things Lightning does. Mater seems like the type of guy to try and show off the music he likes, fails, then likes everybody else’s music when they show him. He tries.

*the video begins with a closeup of Vash's face, his eyes covered by his glasses. He is drinking a pouch of blackcurrant-apple capri-sun. The camera moves slowly downward to reveal a second pouch sitting on Vash's chest as he reclines. The second pouch has the straw poked through the back*

*milly speaks from off-camera*

MIlly: so, Mr. The Stampede, how are you today?

Vash, speaking around the straw: Please, call me Mordecai

Milly: I didn't know your name was Mordecai!

Vash: It isn't.

Milly: oh, okay! Now I just have a few questions for you, Mordecai--

*wolfwood speaks from behind the camera*

Wolfwood: first, I have a question, big girl: what's with the, uh, new style?

*camera pans out and over to the right where Milly is sitting on a closed toilet seat. The room, apparently a bathroom, is small and beige colored. In contrast Milly is wearing a bright rainbow colored clown wig and a clown mask that covers the upper half of her face*

Milly, speaking into a hairbrush like it's a microphone: It's for anomaly!

*a few seconds of silence pass*

Wolfwood: . . . do you mean 'anonymity'?

Milly: yeah!

Wolfwood: alrighty then, please continue

*Milly extends the hairbrush to Vash. The camera follows. Vash is reclining in the tub, fully dressed from sunglasses to boots. His legs are bent and feet braced on the wall in order for him to fit into the space.*

Milly: Mr. Vash, is it true what I heard? That you're responsible for the destruction of a small town in Canada?

Vash, taking the straw out of his mouth: unfounded rumors, Miss Big Girl. No truth at all.

Milly: Is that so--

Vash: for one thing it was Alaska and for another it wasn't my fault and for another another the only thing actually destroyed was a five story tall parking garage. Which again is not my fault. I'm being unjustly persecuted!

Wolfwood: You were existing in the area so it's probably your fault, needle-noggin

Milly: now now, Mr. Woowoo, this is an un-ballasted interview and you can't just interrupt with mean things

Vash: yeah, like she said!

*the camera dips down, as if the person behind it is lowering it so he can look directly at Vash and Milly*

Wolfwood: Ballast--? Biased? Um, Woowoo?!

Milly, cheerfully: yes!

Vash: you heard the lady, Woowoo.

Wolfwood: no. NO. do not. Do not even start.

*the camera leans forward and wolfwood grabs the shower curtain, throwing it across the tub, completely hiding Vash*

*the camera pulls back and focuses on Milly*

Wolfwood: you know what, big girl, how would you like a tell-all interview from an anonymous source that reveals the Humanoid Typhoon's bizarre and deranged sleeping habits?

*Vash sticks his head out from behind the curtain*

Vash: They are perfectly normal sleep habits! You're just ballasted!

Wolfwood: You were under the bed! You grabbed my ankle!

Vash: I was trying to turn off the alarm! It's not my fault your ankle was in the wrong place! You broke three of my fingers when you stomped down!

Wolfwood: don't be such a wuss, it was only your left hand, wasn't it?

*Milly moves her hairbrush microphone back and forth between Vash and Wolfwood, nodding and making interested noises*

*the bathroom door slams open and the camera swings wildly around and when it settles everything is at a tilted angle and a pair of small white shoes can be seen marching into the bathroom*

*all three of them scream*

*vash hides behind the shower curtain*

*the shower curtain is yanked back open. Vash lets out a high-pitched scream and clutches at the plastic sheet like he's trying to cover himself modestly*

Meryl: What are you--stop screaming! It's just me! What are you all doing in here?

Milly, from off screen: Just clowning around, ma'am!

Meryl: Then what're all these empty cans and bottles? Shampoo?

*all three giggle. the camera returns to it's proper angle, showing only the back of Meryl's head*

Milly: no, ma'am, that's booze!

Wolfwood: way to blow our cover!

Vash: narc!

Meryl: did you think there was even a chance I'd believe you were, I dunno, teaching them about the dangers of the grape and how it paves the path to sin?

Wolfwood: more of wheat and rye, but yeah.

*Meryl pulls back the shower curtain again and snatches the capri-sun Vash was trying to put the straw into*

Meryl, stabbing the straw with deadly precision and taking a long sip of juice: great, now I'm the designated driver by default because you guys couldn't wait fifteen minutes for me to pick up the snacks!

Wolfwood: why would you need to drive? just pop one open!

Meryl: because the cops are three doors down and we need to get out of here now!

*a moment of stunned silence broken only by Vash making sad noises and stretching out his arm to get his juice back from Meryl*

*all three scream while Meryl continues to drink her stolen juice*

Meryl: move it or lose it, people, the car is warmed up and ready to go.

*a finger jabs at the camera, apparently an attempt to turn off the recording, but it's unsuccessful and the recording continues, showing flashes of discolored gray carpet and beige walls of what is probably a motel room*

*distantly Vash can be heard crying*

Vash: um, my legs cramped and are locked into this position! Um, guys? Guys! Heeelllp--

*the lighting changes as the camera crosses over a threshold and goes outdoors. From the poor image quality it's hard to tell if the cameraman jumped over the railing into the parking lot below, or if they just dropped the camera*

*Vash is still crying when the screen turns black*
