DSMP AU(?)Explanation Pt. 1

So, back in SL,UT, Wilbur is siblings with Clara. He’s still the son of Phil. But they had a different mom named Elena. She died during Wilbur’s birth, later straining his relationship with Clara(who is older than him by 3 yrs). Phil marries Kristen(still the Goddess of Death)4 years after Elena’s death. Clara gets her brown hair from Elena, but she dyes it orange later. Wilbur’s hair is naturally blonde. In 3 years Kristen then has to leave(bc she’s a goddess)and Phil leaves 5 years after with Techno, leaving Clara(15) to take care of Wilbur(12). In 6 years, Wilbur(now 18)moves out and gets an apartment. Clara(20)decides to drink for the first time, and Wilbur tries smoking(as influenced by his sister smoking a lot when she took care of him)and gets addicted. 2 years later(20)Wilbur finds a baby at his doorstep. The baby later turns out to be Tommy, and to support the baby, Wilbur takes up another job, sex work. At first, he is ashamed of it, but he soon learns to embrace the art. It’s not always the best there(drunk people), but it’s helped him figure out he likes men too. Then he meets Sally at a strip club and they become good friends, which blossoms into a relationship. Tommy is 3 when Wilbur and Sally have Floris, who later becomes Fundy.

When Reverend Jen of Fundie Fridays said "I love the girly aesthetic, but I'm not sure about my gander." I was like, holy shit, that explains my gender identity.

(I don't know if anyone who follows my blog watches the YouTube channel Fundie Fridays, but go do that!)

As someone who was born with the sex female, accepts she/her pronouns, enjoys makeup and feminine clothes, and loves to use tags like 'tumblr girl' or 'girlblogging', 'girlrotting', etc. Yet, identifies as Genderqueer... And tries to feel the freedom, that's really emblematic of my own journey. It's hard, and gender is such a spectrum, with so many words to describe it - God, I know this is only the beginning of the language to describe my identity.

Jesus wasn’t unhappy. They called him a drunk and a glutton because he was so lit at his friends’ weddings.

Canonically, jesus had a lot of sex worker friends and you don’t hear him giving them shit. All his dialogue is in red btw, it’s pretty easy to find.

Jesus spent a lot of time with groups excluded by previous dogma and repeatedly let his disciples blow off textual rules when it better served those around them in their present context.

He’s really pretty emphatic about food security and healthcare. As in bending the laws of physics to get lunch for strangers and cure them of weird diseases. It’s pretty neat.

I don’t know or care who Jesus Christ is to you, but I’m just gonna set the record straight that he was killed in a rough way after hoofing it around the Middle East with his twelve weird friends and some hoes. Do and think what you want but for the love of God, don’t let a mofo in front of a praise band use my guy to guilt trip you out of basic happiness and humanity.

Anyway, I am a Christian adult. This is what I and plenty of other Christian adults believe. I have 0 desire to control you or your relationships, I do not believe in hell, much less that you, precious beloved child, are going there. I am shouting at you hopefully over anyone who tells you that you are not enough and you deserve the pain you are in.

finally back from break for roller derby tonight (it has only been two weeks but it feels SO much longer than that) and the next fundamentals class is starting today! I still haven't actually chosen a name yet, mostly because I don't really know how to be like "hey I finally decided a name", but I do want to introduce myself to the new folks with a derby name (I'm pretty solidly attached to Jenny Sais Quoi), so we'll see how things go I guess!
