Pride Event 2024

Hello everyone, as you may have figured out I am a queer trans writer, and therefore I want to do something for Pride month this year. I want to write a bunch of LGBTQIA fics to post throughout the month of June, and so hopefully that’s where all of you lovelies come in. If you wish please send in Lgbtqia requests for any of the characters I listed in this post, as long as it’s lgbtq I’ll see what I can do with it. This post will have a list of characters I will write for during this event, as well as a list of rules for the event. So without further ado please join me in prepping for Pride month and consider requesting. everything is under the keep reading to no clog the dash.

Rules: (rules for event will differ slightly from my regular rules)

Please have some kind of plot when requesting, not just character & fluff, I need more to work with

In addition to the first rule, please don’t send me a request that is two pages long. Please keep requests to four or five sentences. If your request needs to be longer, please message me the details and we can discuss.

When requesting, please state if you want headcannons, a drabbel, or oneshot.

No Smut (just not confident enough to write it yet, might change later on)

Had the iPad for 20 mins yesterday, decided to doodle my boy Newt with Fawn (belongs to @surrogate-fawn) as a warmup to get back into digital! He's on his first pregnancy, she's on her fifth.

I'll finally be getting back into the groove this weekend. I haven't been able to draw digitally at all and it drove me crazy. Now I know to never try and run the Sims on this laptop again...

And she's finally done! This is Drema, and she now has a completed concept art sheet that's going into my finished art portfolio. Here's a little more about her...

Drema is from a planet called Ecleutania and has been abducted onto a prison ship called The Finn. Her people are isolated, so most don't know the Intergalactic Trade language, but a few who are involved in intergalactic relations speak it. In Drema's case, she picked it up by hanging around Eclipsian soldiers. Technology is not wide-spread on her planet and she communicates through natural means, like via fungi in the soil.

The Streollenn

Her people are newt-like and semiaquatic in nature. They have external gills and glandular skin, which allows them to switch between different environments. Their skin feels like the consistency of wet kelp, and they have the ability to regenerate limbs, eyes, spinal cords, hearts, intestines, and upper and lower jaws if injured. This makes them prime for other cultures. They start as eggs and then metamorphose into tadpoles, and then finally into the fully grown Streollenn. They are bipedal, but also have rudder-like tails on some species. Some groups are toxic and secrete it out of their skin. Drema, in captivity, is forced to be confined to a full-skin covering to protect wardens and orderlies. Her tetrodotoxin can kill most Terrans nearly instantaneously.

Drema's Diet

Some species of Streollenn will eat other species of Streollenn young to survive. They always breed in water, so their eggs are easy prey. Regularly, they eat a variety of animals. Most Streollenn are nocturnal and bioluminescent. They eat anything from frogs, toads, slugs, snails, flies, mites, springtails, and worms to spiders and other small mammals and birds. Their planet consists of mostly oversized insects and other animals, much like a giant terrarium. Because the Streollenn have developed intelligence, their risk of being preyed upon is low, but they are still preyed upon what they call the Obb (fox-like creatures), huge birds that ride electrical storms called Choedhek, or World-Ender, in Streollenn.

Colors

The different species of Streollenn can be organized by color. Abyst Streollenn prefer water over land and have colorful frills on their faces. Rinium Streollenn are larger in bulk and sport yellow and black spots and stripes. Despite their large size, they are gentle and docile. Pyrrho Streollenn have hot orange underbellies and are quite small compared to the Rinium variety. They are highly toxic. Occasionally (as is Drema's case), these Streollenn are born blue. The Viride Streollenn are the most aggressive and territorial, but all Streollenn work cohesively with each other.

Drema's Role in Fatal Mechanisms

Drema, as I mentioned before, was abducted by Eclipsian military for the sake of scientific experiments. Eventually she escapes and joins a rebel force called Animus, which is where this outfit comes from! I may write more about her journey, but I honestly have an entire 120k book that's all about her that I'll eventually publish. For now, this piece is going into my portfolio and I can rest easy for the next couple of weeks.
