Edit: Can't believe the irony of me having to say this, but I do apparently have to say this: Not wanting boobs and not wanting to be seen as feminine does not mean you are, or want to be seen as masculine. I'm not transmasculine just because I don't want boobs and don't want to be seen as feminine.
You cannot read a post where the point is having boobs does not equal being feminine and go oh! right. Because not wanting boobs equals being masculine! No!! I'm not transmasculine! I'm not trying to look masculine! Kill the gender binary that has a stranglehold on your views of gender!
Stop shoving nonbinary people into a new set of binary boxes!
___
the idea that having boobs gets you automatically and inherently classified as being "female presenting" and "feminine presenting" in so-called progressive circles makes me want to maul people.
I've said this before and I'll just keep repeating it forever: I'm disabled. I can't wear a binder. If I tried I'd dislocate several ribs and that'd be the least of my worries. Like. you know why ribs not being where they're supposed to be is dangerous? Yeah. Yeah. Use your imagination. That's a real thing I have to worry about.
I can't even wear a sports bra that's several sizes """too large""" comfortably.
And yeah, I can use trans tape, but that takes concerted time and effort to put on and take off, and every time you put it on you get different results, and you might just mess it up entirely and waste it, and it can get itchy if you're sweating with it on (and it's 90 degrees almost all the time it's not actively winter here, so that's...literally unavoidable. Even sitting in the living room. Because the electric company charges an arm and a leg for AC during the summer AND won't even give you enough to actually cool your shitty tiny apartment even with all the doors shut and curtains drawn!!!!!), and it's expensive to buy more of.
And especially because this declaration of "feminine presenting" or "female presenting" that gets shoved onto you is not only misgendering you, but placing the blame on you for being misgendered for not looking not-female enough. It's no longer the speaker making incorrect assumptions, they're now literally declaring that this is a concious decision you make. You are choosing to "present" yourself this way...by having a body that you have no control over.
And even when it comes to clothes, the idea that the clothes you wear is another purposeful, conscious Presentation™ of your gender...
Even if we ignore for a moment the fact that being disabled and poor severely limits the clothes you can wear and even just have access to, what about people who literally don't get to choose what their clothes are? Kids whose parents buy their clothes for them, people whose carers choose their outfits for them?
My gender is not "sun-bleached tank top and shorts with a reflective sun hat". That's just what I wear so I don't die of heat stroke every time I set foot outside, and so that my joints are not being painfully constricted every time I move. I literally can't take my hat off outside during the day without developing a headache (or are they fucking migraines? fuck if I know!) within minutes from the sun trying to murder me from my light sensitivity. And it took me years to even realize that it was light sensitivity causing this. I remember in middle school the substitute gym teacher asked if I was a vampire because I moved to the closest shady spot every time we moved to a new area.
And like. Let's be honest. Even if I could safely wear a binder...They're fucking expensive.
It's just really fucking annoying that so many people equate binding with being trans and so many people who are supposed to be allies are just so comfortable labeling other people, who they haven't asked, as "feminine presenting" just because of the presence of boobs. Like we have any choice in the matter. Like having visible boobs just means you're asking to be misgendered.

Disabled trans people: I would love to bind but I physically literally can't because I'm disabled. I would love to get top surgery but I can't because I'm poor and don't have health insurance because I'm unemployed because I'm disabled. It really fucking sucks that I can't do these things because I'm disabled. People need to understand that disabled trans people exist and that binding isn't an option for many of us.
Abled trans people every single time despite not being asked: Okay cool buy did you know you don't have to bind at all? You should accept the fact that you have boobs! It's great and sexy and fun to have boobs and you shouldn't want to bind because that's letting society tell you what to do! Get some better self esteem!! Binding isn't everything! You should just embrace how hot and sexy your boobs are as a power move. There are lots of trans people who don't bind, and they aren't disabled! Being disabled has nothing to do with whether you bind or not. Choosing not to bind because you enjoy having boobs is the exact same thing as being physically incapable of binding despite how much you hate having boobs! I know because I think having boobs is sexy and hot and clearly every trans person wants people to think their boobs are hot!!!! I don't think disability has anything to do with whether you bind or not.
Disabled trans people who do not want to have boobs and are openly aroace and do not want anyone to find them attractive in any way:

Murderbot at a Pride parade walking in the "no touching" section using drone cameras to avoid eye contact.
No, I could not help referencing Jean Jacket.
Anyways someone should introduce Murderbot to hoodies, since you don't have to figure out what to do with your hands if you just keep them in the giant pocket.
Tumblr media
[ID: A traditional drawing of Murderbot from The Murderbot Diaries book series, colored digitally using MS Paint. Murderbot is a nonbinary robot designed to look like a human, with dark brown skin visible on its lower arms, wearing a hoodie with the loose sleeves pushed up to its elbows, and the hood drawn up and the strings pulled to help obscure its face. The hoodie is made up of multiple pride flags, with each section a different flag. The torso is the trans pride flag with stripes of blue, pink, white, pink, and blue. The sleeve on the Left <- is the nonplatonic flag, with stripes of black, dark grey, light grey, white, light blue, and sky blue. The sleeve on the Right -> is the transqueer flag, with stripes of cyan, teal, white, purple, and cyan. The large pocket on the hoodie is the nonbinary flag, with stripes of yellow, white, purple, and black. The hood is s the Pride flag, with stripes of lavender, pink, red, orange, yellow, green, teal, dark blue, and purple. Murderbot is holding a medium sized pride flag in its Right -> hand, with the pole held up in front of its face so that as the flag waves to the right, only half of its face is visible. The flag is the nonhuman flag, with stripes of yellow, green, purple, berry red, and brown. What little of Murderbot's face can be seen is then covered by a pair of dark blue sunglasses, and a facemask in the stripes of the neopronouns flag: pastel green, cyan, white, light orange, and orange. A small green rectangle-shaped drone hovers on the Left <- side of Murderbot's face, with a small black square camera lens in the center, like an eye. Above the drone's four motors is a small dark xenogender flag, with stripes of dark purple, dark blue, teal, gold, burnt orange, red, and dark red. Pinned to the front of Murderbot's hoodie are multiple pins in different shapes: A circular touch-averse flag pin with stripes of orange, red, black, red, and orange, with white font that reads, "no touching allowed" in all caps. A circular it/its flag pin with stripes of yellow, green, light grey, dark grey, light grey, green, and blue, that reads "it/its" in black text. A diamond shaped ace pin with stripes of black, grey, white, and purple. A square shaped aplatonic pin with stripes of dark purple, blue, green, and cream. A circular agender flag pin, with stripes of black, grey, white, green, white, grey, and black. A star shaped aroace flag with stripes of orange, yellow, white, light blue, and navy blue. And a diamond shaped aro flag pin with stripes of dark green, light green, white, grey, and black. The background is blank white. End ID.]

People keep recreating the gender binary and insisting that they're not defining people by bioessentialism and trust them, transmasculine and transfeminine are totally not about defining you by your body or the gender you were assigned at birth, they're about presentation!!!
Until people who were AMAB identify as transmasculine, or people who were AFAB identify as transfeminine. Then suddenly everyone is flipping tables and screaming.
So, what was that about these terms not being a new gender binary and not being just more bioessentialism for you to force on nonbinary people?
If you're gonna claim these terms are just about how you choose to present yourself when nonbinary people get pissed about being shoved into more binary boxes, then you have to actually fucking believe that. You don't get to get pissed when people use these terms to actually convey their presentation rather than just being another way of saying AMAB or AFAB.
You can be AFAB and transfeminine. You can be AMAB and transmasculine. You can be anything and identify as trans- anything you fucking want. Anyone who tries to tell you otherwise is a bioessentialist asshole.
Some other options include but are not in any way limited to:
Transqueer
Transfuckyou
Transno
Transvoid
Transnonbinary
Transneutral
Transzero
Transplus
Transmystery
Transfluid
Transxeno
Transother
and anything else you want. Or literally nothing. You do not have to use any of these terms if you don't want to. and anyone who tells you you must pick one is, again, a fucking bigot not to be listened to.

Nonpartnering pride flag!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
[ID: Four versions of a pride flag. The first two are shaped like squares, the second two are shaped like wide rectangles.
The flag has five horizontal stripes of: medium blue, cyan, very dark grey, light magenta, and dark purple.
The first flag in each set has a large, solid white, round-tipped five pointed star in the center.
End ID.]
This flag is for people who do not want and are not seeking a partner of any kind - not sexual, not romantic, not platonic or queerplatonic or any other kinds of attraction that will no doubt be getting names in the coming years so everyone can pretend they're the new default you must at least feel in order to be happy.
(Also for the record, none of these colors have anything to do with gender. It's not blue for boys/masculine people and pink for girls / feminine people with a cheap "oh and nonbinary people are in there too I guess because all nonbinary people are transmasc or transfem or just neutral which is totally for sure what the white star means" thrown in as an afterthought. It's just blue and purple, which are the best fucking colors. Don't go applying symbology that's not there.)
also like since I guess it's a thing, yes you can use this flag if you're married for tax benefits or whatever, assuming you're just friends with the person you're married to lol.
This pride flag is public domain, meaning you can use it for literally anything you want, no credit or permission needed. Here's the archive page for the flags. "https://archive.org/details/nonpartnering-pride-flag"
Here it is icon sized:
Tumblr media
[ID: The same flag as above, now much smaller, 100x100 pixels. End ID.]
If you do use the flag, please try to include an image description whenever possible, and if someone asks, please try to direct them to an HD version of the flag.
The longer versions of the flags should in theory be the perfect size for a header for a tumblr blog, but they change crap on this site so often it might not work anymore, or might not work on mobile.
I chose a rounded star because I wanted a star to represent being whole and complete all on your own, and gave it rounded corners because I just didn't like the way the normal five pointed star was so sharp and pointy. You can make it a pointed star if you want, though.
The colors were chosen because A)I fucking love purple and blue, B)I wanted it to sort of match the transfuckyou flag from my dream (cyan, blue, white, purple, cyan, the one with Wild Future), as in, "fuck you I will not force myself to fit into into society's moulds just because you think it's the only natural way to exist". way.
so yeah this flag is a big fuck you to amatanormativity and especially a big fuck you to the people in aspec spaces who still act like getting a partner is the most important and natural thing in the world and the only way to be happy, but they think saying this is fine now because they mean a queerplatonic partner instead of a romantic and/or sexual one.
the stripe hex codes if anyone wnats them:
blue: 6580DA
cyan: 60D6D9
dark grey: 494949
light magenta: CD6BC1
dark purple: 812F95
and fun fact. This drawing of Altera is the first use of this pride flag because I designed it in that drawing and then made the full sized version you see here. "https://rjalker.tumblr.com/post/702456141902495744/id-a-digital-drawing-showing-a-character-labeled"

[ID: Two versions of a flag with five horizontal stripes of: cyan, blue, white, purple, and cyan. The second is the same, but with text that reads, "transqueer, transfuckyou". End ID.]
I'm giving each flag from this post its own post so it's easier to read. This is the post that started it all.
This flag in particular was from a dream I had, which can be found here.
As long as you aren't on my DNI, you can use these flags for whatever you'd use a pride flag for. Redbubble designs, headers, icons, even printing them out and putting them on shirts or whatever.
The flag with the text will appear in this redbubble collection when it's done loading. You'll have to have the "sensitive content" or whatever filter turned off to see this one since it has a swear word in it.
fun fact I'm using the font "courier new" because I thought it'd be funny.

[ID: Three transneutral pride flags, each with horizontal stripes.
The first has five stripes of blue, grey, white, grey, and pink.
The second has nine stripes of: blue, pink, white, light grey, darker grey, grey, white, pink, and blue.
The third has seven stripes of: dark brown, teal green, faded yellow, dark purple, faded yellow, teal green, and dark brown.
End ID.]
Reposting the transneutral flags I made since I think I accidentally deleted the original post. Whoops.
The first one can also be flipped upside down so the pink stripe is at the top. I would include both versions next to each other but tumblr's new and useless post editor means that would take 20 minutes. so that's not happening.
feel free to use them for whatever you'd use a pride flag for.
Here's a link to the post with the transvoid / transqueer / transfuckyou flags.

unfortunately I cannot wear my epic hat because the length means the back part is touching the back of my neck no matter how I wear it, which I cannot stand
but at least I can very easily make a new one that will hopefully fit better.

[ID: A photo of a person with white skin standing outside and turning its head to the side, with its face cropped out with a black squiggle with "Nope" scribbled on it.
On its head is a crochet yarn hat in the colors of the nonbinary and trans flags, with the stripes starting at the top then going down, in black, purple, white, yellow, pink, and blue, with two thinner stripes of white and black at the very bottom edge.
The person is wearing an orange and yellow neon vest over a blue shirt with various pins. One partly cut off reads, "Black Lives MAtter", another that is partly cut off reads ,"My pronouns are it/its", and two smaller ones is an upside down nonbinary flag, and a crooked transfuckyou flag. End ID.]
