DC x DP Fic idea: The Royal Consort

Wesley Weston runs a blog after getting over his desire to expose Danny's secret- primarily due to no one believing him- and no one pays attention to it since almost all of Casper high school has one too.

The difference between the hundreds of other blogs is that one of his pictures of Phantom is clear. A perfectly uncorrected image of the famous ghost, whereas nearly all other pictures are blurry due to ghosts disrupting cameras. Even Wes isn't sure how he managed to capture him so well.

Another difference between his blog and others is that one of his followers happens to be John Constantine, who followed the kid a long time ago due to the fanfiction of the Bats and found them hilarious.

John opens his phone app, expecting a new chapter to the Bruce Wayne/Superman fic, and spits out his tea upon seeing the High King of the Dead casually in the human world. Horrified that the King has not been appropriately welcomed- which could lead to a war that the humans would never win- he calls an emergency Justice League and Justice League Dark meeting.

It didn't help that they had allowed a county to pass the anti-ecto laws, which ruined any attempt to appease the Ghost King once the news broke to the public. The League still worried about a declaration of war even after they demolished the laws and the United Nations had the States apologize on humans' behalf.

They quickly discover High King Phantom has been visiting Earth for almost three years. Before his coronation, Phantom had not been outside the Infinite Realms very often though he has appeared throughout history. Cave drawings date back thousands of years before the first ancient Egyptians, but he's visits are few and short.

Life would naturally send him back to the Realms because he had too much power and ectoplasm. After taking the throne, his powers only grew, which meant someone had to summon him as the only way for him to stay on Earth longer than an hour.

Now as King, he appeared only within the small town of Amity Park daily. Why?

John sighs. "He has an anchor. Someone is tying him to this plane. Like the helmet for Nabu, which allows Doctor Fate to exist here without being launched back to the Infinite Releams, Phantom has bonded himself. And I know who that is"

He pulls up a class photo on Weston's blog and points to a boy wearing a particular necklace.

"Danny Fenton is wearing the official Royal Consort of the Infinite Realms symbol and has been since he was fourteen. Phantom's husband may be our only hope to salvage the terrible mess the USA's bloody GIW placed the rest of us in."

Danny loved the necklace he found in Pariah Dark's old haunt. He inherited Pariah's haunt and everything inside once he was crowned and hasn't taken it off since. He didn't think it would be an issue. It's not like it would out his secret to his parents or anyone else since it was in Ghost Speech. Even he didn't know what it said.

Then one morning he comes down for breakfast only to have the most important members of the Justice League sitting in his living room waiting to greet him.

Desperate to keep his halfa status a secret, Danny must convince the entire world watching him, that he's just a human who scandalously eloped at age fourteen with one of the strongest beings in the mulitverse.

Jack's horrified "We were shooting my son-in-law this whole time" became a meme that has trended for months.

On the hunt for some fellow space explorers and extraterrestrial beings!

Greetings ladies, gents and fellow space explorers! As yet another busy year draws to a close and a new one is just around the corner I thought I’d open my doors (well, DM’s really) to any fellow sci-fi rper’s who may be lurking about in the hopes that we can all leap headfirst into the start of 2024 with some fresh stories to write, new ideas to share and entire universes born from our own imaginations to explore whilst hopefully making a few new friends along the way. Before heading down to the ideas section of the ad, I humbly ask (and strongly insist) that anyone who may be interested in writing with me takes the time to thoroughly read the following lists of requirements to make sure that we are on the same page when it comes to what we want/expect in a rp partner and ensure that we will mesh with one another as a result rather than clash due to incompatibility based issues that may not be fixable. REQUIREMENTS/WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR: -A minimum of three to four properly fleshed out and detailed paragraphs per response written in third person past tense. A decent grasp on spelling, grammar and punctuation is also required as well. -At least one to two responses per day/every other day. I am also open to planning a writing schedule provided you are capable of consistently responding at least three or more days per week. -A willingness to commit to a long term rp/being a long term writing partner and being open to writing more than just one story. -20+ writers and characters. No exceptions. -Being open to at least occasionally engaging in non-rp related ooc chatter. -Active engagement during any planning/plotting phases and a willingness to bring new ideas to table. -Willing to rp against/pair your character with a alien character who may have/has fur, fangs, claws, a tail, scales, antennae, extra limbs, etc. basically anything that doesn’t look like a blue skinned human. I do not play human main characters so please take all of this into very careful consideration before messaging me for an rp. -Being comfortable with writing potentially explicit scenes that contain dark themes/sensitive topics such as combat, violence, gore, injuries, trauma, illnesses, etc (any and all boundaries will be discussed prior to plotting or writing these sorts of scenes). -Being comfortable with writing out smut based scenes rather than just fading to black or simply implying they happened. -Slow burn romances that allow the characters to see the best and worst sides of each other as their feelings progress. Anything that adds extra tension, drama or causes changes to their relationship dynamics and offers us a potential subplot to explore is also heavily encouraged. -50/50 story to smut ratio. -Switch dynamics only. Characters who prefer to top more than bottom during spicy scenes are also welcomed but Characters who only bottom/are always submissive regardless of what position they are in or don’t reciprocate on their own accord without constant guidance during these types of scenes are not. -MxM or FxM (with me playing the male character) pairings. I do have a strong preference for MxM pairings but I am not going to turn down anyone wishing to do a FxM one, but I will not play as the female character so please refrain from approaching me if you are intending to play as the male character. -Discord is an absolute must as it is the only platform I will rp on due to being able to use servers in order to help keep things organised and easily accessible within their own little category or channel. I will not rp on any other platform and any attempts to try and persuade me to write elsewhere will be ignored. WHAT I AM NOT LOOKING FOR: -one liners, one worders, rushed out responses, rapid fire, text talk, frequent or major mistakes that go uncorrected. -Constantly switching between tenses or the use of first/second person. -godmodding. -controlling my characters. -overly shy or emotionally fragile characters who need to be taken care of constantly. -Characters who are always positive/cheerful no matter what happens to them or to the point where it's impossible to get any other kind of reaction out of them. -short term rp’s. -Android characters, heavily augmented cyborg characters (this is up for discussion), magical characters, characters with wings, telepathic characters, characters that do not fit into a sci-fi setting, insectoid alien main characters, avianoid alien main characters, amphibious or fish like alien main characters, amorphous (slime) main characters and anything that even remotely resembles a xenomorph. -time travel/dimension hopping settings or abilities. -Cyberpunk/steampunk/dieselpunk/whatever are punk type settings there are. -Overly submissive characters or characters who constantly require someone else to take the lead all the time or make decisions for them regardless of what situation they are in. -fast paced romances. -stories that take place in a non sci-fi setting. Now that we’ve got all those rules out of the way, let’s start talking about the fun stuff: Ideas. Down below you’ll find all of the ideas that I’ve been absolutely dying to write for a fair while now. All of these ideas will take place within your typical run of the mill sci-fi setting and although there are some specific themes/plot points and dynamics within them that are non-negotiable or firmly set in stone, you are more than welcome to bring any ideas you may have been wanting to try out yourself to the table to see if there’s a way that they can be incorporated into the rp. STOWAWAY: (Looking for someone to play the captain) A stowaway attempts to sneak onboard a ship in order to find a way off the planet/space station they are on and is discovered by the captain. UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT: (Looking for someone to play as a member of the crew) A criminal takes over a ship that has accidentally stumbled into their territory and claims the crew as their own. NO EASY WAY OUT: (Looking for someone to play as either the leader of the criminals or a member of the crew) A lone drifter is captured by a band of criminals and forced to join them in exchange for their life. STRANDED: A alliance soldier is purposely left behind by their teammates after becoming separated from them during a mission and is forced to find a way off the planet with the aid of their rescuer. CHANGING WAYS: (Looking for someone to play as a member of the alliance crew) A notorious criminal is given one last chance of redemption by serving the alliance as part of the crew that captured them. TAKING OVER: A captain's second in command is reluctantly chosen to lead the ship after a mission gone wrong and struggles to live up to the expectations that are placed upon them. REUNITED: (Looking for someone to play as the old crew mate) A runaway alliance soldier working a gig as a freelance cargo pilot bumps into one of their old crewmates and agrees to work alongside them in order to solve a mystery involving the sudden disappearance of several ships. New recruit: A formerly high-ranking alliance officer is stripped of their title and forced to start over at the bottom of the social ladder on another ship. SPACE PIRATES AND NOBLES: (Looking for someone to play as the royal) A pirate captain that is believed to be one of the most dangerous and wanted criminals in the known galaxies boards a ship full of royals/wealthy high class nobles that has strayed off course and takes one of them as a prisoner in exchange for sparing the rest of them. ENSLAVED: (Looking for someone to play as the master/mistress) As punishment for their crimes, a criminal is sold off into slavery. A near successful escape attempt sees them literally running into their new owner after months of being turned down by other buyers. THE WAR OF THE WORLDS: A intergalactic war is declared by the aliens after one of their ships is shot down by humans despite claims that the incident was not the result of malicious intent or pre-planned. Centuries of peaceful co-existence between the two races are seemingly thrown down the drain as they battle each other for complete control over the known galaxies themselves despite the devastating costs that both sides must regularly pay for as a result of their efforts through either their lives or resources in the hopes of achieving some form of victory. EXILE: (Looking for someone to play as a crew member of the human ship) An alien is found injured and alone onboard a badly damaged ship that has drifted into a human occupied airspace. The unexpected extraterrestrial guest is hostile towards their “alien” rescuers yet is seemingly reluctant to return to their own territory for reasons that they refuse to disclose. With tensions rising across the known galaxies due to rumours being spread about a war that is supposedly on the verge of being declared at any moment, the two species must set aside their biases and work together in order to find out the truth before it’s too late. Prompt: 1. “I chose you.” Remus asks Sirius an important question about the Yule Ball.

“Hey, Padfoot?”

Sirius looked up from the Marauders’ Map, and a smile lit up his face at the sight of Remus standing in front of the fireplace. “Moony, did you finish your rounds already?”

“Yeah, Lily and I just got back.”

“Merlin, I must have gotten really into the map. I didn’t even realize how late it was.” Sirius chuckled, and Remus joined, although it sounded a little forced. “Well, we should probably get to bed.” Sirius started to stand, but Remus blurred out a frantic, “Wait,” making him stop.

“Um, wait, before you go upstairs….” Remus shifted his weight from one foot to the other. “Do you think we could talk for a second?”

Sirius frowned. “Is everything alright?”

Remus looked down at his feet. “Yeah, everything is fine. I just need—I want to run something by you.”

Sirius patted the seat next to him on the couch. Remus took the seat but kept his gaze focused away from Sirius, this time focusing on his clasped fingers in his lap.

Sirius studied him for a long moment. Remus was often quiet. It’s what made him so good at pranks; no one ever suspected him when he was the mastermind. However, even in his quietest moments, he usually carried himself with a certain level of ease and confidence that never failed to draw Sirius in. At least, after their second year, he had. Up until then, he’d been jumpy and a little withdrawn. Still fun and mischievous, but guarded. Not unlike the Remus sitting in front of Sirius now. This Remus was nervous, and if he was nervous, something was wrong.

“Are you sure everything is alright?” Sirius asked gently. He wanted to reach out and take Remus’ hand so he would stop fraying the edges of his jumper—and just hold his hand if he was being honest—but he didn’t. “Did something happen on rounds?”

Remus glanced up. He worried at his lower lip, and Sirius suppressed a groan. If he only knew how crazy that drove him…

“No. No, nothing happened on rounds,” Remus said quickly. “I wanted to talk to you about the Yule Ball.”

“What about it?”

“Do you have a date?”

Sirius shook his head. “Nah, a few girls asked, but I didn’t think it’d be right to say yes and lead them on, knowing it would never go anywhere.” When Sirius started dating Gideon last year, the whole school assumed he was bi since he had also dated Marlene the year before. Since he was still at Grimmauld Place and could spin it to Walburga and Orion that he could still technically produce an heir, he let the assumption go uncorrected. But Remus and the rest of the Marauders knew he was only attracted to blokes—and Marlene since they had figured out together after three months of dating that they were both gayer than Christmas. Now that he was no longer living at Grimmauld Place, he didn’t need to keep up appearances, but he couldn’t quite feel arsed enough to come out all over again.

“Right.” Remus stared back at his hands. “Would you want to go together, then?”

Sirius knew Remus was likely asking him as a backup date or as a friend, but his stomach flipped all the same. “If you’re worried about not having a date, you don’t have to worry about it. I heard from Marls that Mary was planning on asking you.”

“No, I—“ Remus’ cheeks flushed. “She did ask. I said no.”

“I thought you liked Mary,” Sirius said.

“I do. As a friend.”

“And she didn’t want to go as just friends?”

“No, she did. That’s why she asked me. After her breakup with Benjy, she doesn’t want to rush into anything new,” Remus explained.

Sirius furrowed his brow. “Then why not go with her? What’s the difference between going with her as just a friend versus me as just a friend?”

Remus looked up at that and gave him an exasperated look. “I’m asking you to be my date.”

“Right,” Sirius said, also exasperated now. “Your backup friend date in case you can’t find a real date.”

“No, Sirius—I’m asking you to be my date.” He emphasized the last word. “My real date.”

“I don’t understand.”

“Clearly. And to think Lily spent half of our rounds giving me a pep talk because I was nervous you’d say no,” Remus said dryly. “I’m not asking you to go with me as a backup or as just a friend. I’m asking you to go with me because I fancy you and want to date you.”

“You’re—why?”

“Why do I fancy you?”

Sirius nodded, unable to speak.

“I swear to Merlin, Padfoot if you are just fishing for compliments—“

“I’m not,” Sirius said in a rush. And he really wasn’t. Because as much as he had dreamed of hearing Remus say those words to him, it was always just that—a dream. In reality, it didn’t make sense. “You’re cute and smart and kind and funny. You could choose anyone you wanted.”

“Okay, well, no, I really can’t. But even if I could, I chose you—“

“So did James and Peter.”

“Yes, but I know it was your idea.” Remus smiled softly. “I know you spent nearly all of our third year in the library trying to figure out ways to help me before you even thought to clue in James and Peter. I don’t think I’ve ever felt more loved in my entire life than I did when I saw your mangy black dog for the first time and knew what it meant.”

“I’m not mangy,” Sirius mumbled.

They didn’t speak for a long moment, then Remus finally broke the silence. “So, are you going to answer my question? Because the waiting is kind of killing me.”

Sirius locked eyes with him, and although he was terrified of absolutely mucking things up, he nodded. “Yeah, I’d love to be your date.”

The smile that broke across Remus’ face was blinding, and if he hadn’t been sitting, Sirius might have gone weak in the knees. “I should probably warn you that I’m a terrible dancer.”

“I know. I’ve seen you in McGonagall’s lessons.” Sirius grinned, then in a moment of Gryffindor courage, he reached over to take Remus’ hand in his. “Luckily, I’m graceful enough for the both of us.”

On the hunt for some fellow space explorers and extraterrestrial beings!

Greetings ladies, gents and fellow space explorers!

As yet another busy year draws to a close and a new one is just around the corner I thought I’d open my doors (well, DM’s really) to any fellow sci-fi rper’s who may be lurking about in the hopes that we can all leap headfirst into the start of 2024 with some fresh stories to write, new ideas to share and entire universes born from our own imaginations to explore whilst hopefully making a few new friends along the way.

Before heading down to the ideas section of the ad, I humbly ask (and strongly insist) that anyone who may be interested in writing with me takes the time to thoroughly read the following lists of requirements to make sure that we are on the same page when it comes to what we want/expect in a rp partner and ensure that we will mesh with one another as a result rather than clash due to incompatibility based issues that may not be fixable.

REQUIREMENTS/WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR:

-A minimum of three to four properly fleshed out and detailed paragraphs per response written in third person past tense. A decent grasp on spelling, grammar and punctuation is also required as well.

-At least one to two responses per day/every other day. I am also open to planning a writing schedule provided you are capable of consistently responding at least three or more days per week.

-A willingness to commit to a long term rp/being a long term writing partner and being open to writing more than just one story.

-20+ writers and characters. No exceptions.

-Being open to at least occasionally engaging in non-rp related ooc chatter.

-Active engagement during any planning/plotting phases and a willingness to bring new ideas to table.

-Willing to rp against/pair your character with a alien character who may have/has fur, fangs, claws, a tail, scales, antennae, extra limbs, etc. basically anything that doesn’t look like a blue skinned human. I do not play human main characters so please take all of this into very careful consideration before messaging me for an rp.

-Being comfortable with writing potentially explicit scenes that contain dark themes/sensitive topics such as combat, violence, gore, injuries, trauma, illnesses, etc (any and all boundaries will be discussed prior to plotting or writing these sorts of scenes).

-Being comfortable with writing out smut based scenes rather than just fading to black or simply implying they happened.

-Slow burn romances that allow the characters to see the best and worst sides of each other as their feelings progress. Anything that adds extra tension, drama or causes changes to their relationship dynamics and offers us a potential subplot to explore is also heavily encouraged.

-50/50 story to smut ratio.

-Switch dynamics only. Characters who prefer to top more than bottom during spicy scenes are also welcomed but Characters who only bottom/are always submissive regardless of what position they are in or don’t reciprocate on their own accord without constant guidance during these types of scenes are not.

-MxM or FxM (with me playing the male character) pairings. I do have a strong preference for MxM pairings but I am not going to turn down anyone wishing to do a FxM one, but I will not play as the female character so please refrain from approaching me if you are intending to play as the male character.

-Discord is an absolute must as it is the only platform I will rp on due to being able to use servers in order to help keep things organised and easily accessible within their own little category or channel. I will not rp on any other platform and any attempts to try and persuade me to write elsewhere will be ignored.

WHAT I AM NOT LOOKING FOR:

-one liners, one worders, rushed out responses, rapid fire, text talk, frequent or major mistakes that go uncorrected.

-Constantly switching between tenses or the use of first/second person.

-godmodding.

-controlling my characters.

-overly shy or emotionally fragile characters who need to be taken care of constantly.

-Characters who are always positive/cheerful no matter what happens to them or to the point where it’s impossible to get any other kind of reaction out of them.

-short term rp’s.

-Android characters, heavily augmented cyborg characters (this is up for discussion), magical characters, characters with wings, telepathic characters, characters that do not fit into a sci-fi setting, insectoid alien main characters, avianoid alien main characters, amphibious or fish like alien main characters, amorphous (slime) main characters and anything that even remotely resembles a xenomorph.

-time travel/dimension hopping settings or abilities.

-Cyberpunk/steampunk/dieselpunk/whatever are punk type settings there are.

-Overly submissive characters or characters who constantly require someone else to take the lead all the time or make decisions for them regardless of what situation they are in.

-fast paced romances.

-stories that take place in a non sci-fi setting.

Now that we’ve got all those rules out of the way, let’s start talking about the fun stuff: Ideas.

Down below you’ll find all of the ideas that I’ve been absolutely dying to write for a fair while now. All of these ideas will take place within your typical run of the mill sci-fi setting and although there are some specific themes/plot points and dynamics within them that are non-negotiable or firmly set in stone, you are more than welcome to bring any ideas you may have been wanting to try out yourself to the table to see if there’s a way that they can be incorporated into the rp.

STOWAWAY:

(Looking for someone to play the captain)

A stowaway attempts to sneak onboard a ship in order to find a way off the planet/space station they are on and is discovered by the captain.

UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT:

(Looking for someone to play as a member of the crew)

A criminal takes over a ship that has accidentally stumbled into their territory and claims the crew as their own.

NO EASY WAY OUT:

(Looking for someone to play as either the leader of the criminals or a member of the crew)

A lone drifter is captured by a band of criminals and forced to join them in exchange for their life.

STRANDED:

A alliance soldier is purposely left behind by their teammates after becoming separated from them during a mission and is forced to find a way off the planet with the aid of their rescuer.

CHANGING WAYS:

(Looking for someone to play as a member of the alliance crew)

A notorious criminal is given one last chance of redemption by serving the alliance as part of the crew that captured them.

TAKING OVER:

A captain’s second in command is reluctantly chosen to lead the ship after a mission gone wrong and struggles to live up to the expectations that are placed upon them.

REUNITED:

(Looking for someone to play as the old crew mate)

A runaway alliance soldier working a gig as a freelance cargo pilot bumps into one of their old crewmates and agrees to work alongside them in order to solve a mystery involving the sudden disappearance of several ships.

New recruit:

A formerly high-ranking alliance officer is stripped of their title and forced to start over at the bottom of the social ladder on another ship.

SPACE PIRATES AND NOBLES:

(Looking for someone to play as the royal)

A pirate captain that is believed to be one of the most dangerous and wanted criminals in the known galaxies boards a ship full of royals/wealthy high class nobles that has strayed off course and takes one of them as a prisoner in exchange for sparing the rest of them.

ENSLAVED:

(Looking for someone to play as the master/mistress)

As punishment for their crimes, a criminal is sold off into slavery. A near successful escape attempt sees them literally running into their new owner after months of being turned down by other buyers.

THE WAR OF THE WORLDS:

A intergalactic war is declared by the aliens after one of their ships is shot down by humans despite claims that the incident was not the result of malicious intent or pre-planned. Centuries of peaceful co-existence between the two races are seemingly thrown down the drain as they battle each other for complete control over the known galaxies themselves despite the devastating costs that both sides must regularly pay for as a result of their efforts through either their lives or resources in the hopes of achieving some form of victory.

EXILE:

(Looking for someone to play as a crew member of the human ship)

An alien is found injured and alone onboard a badly damaged ship that has drifted into a human occupied airspace. The unexpected extraterrestrial guest is hostile towards their “alien” rescuers yet is seemingly reluctant to return to their own territory for reasons that they refuse to disclose. With tensions rising across the known galaxies due to rumours being spread about a war that is supposedly on the verge of being declared at any moment, the two species must set aside their biases and work together in order to find out the truth before it’s too late.
